Chapter 67: Earth Duel P2

Things were not looking in Toph's favor. She was in a hot heated Duel against Tania. Nearly everyone that was with me were watching the Duel between the two Duelists. My eyes were full of worry, worry for Toph. Toph had played a really smart Duel so far, However now things had changed. Let me remind you of the scene.
Toph's Life Points were: 2800, she also had Giganticastle whom she had managed to bring back, but it was in defense mode which it had, 2800. She didn't have any spells or Trap Cards down. Her opponent, Tania on the other hand had 3300 Life Points, but she did have her Titan Card, Lythos, the Earth Titan which was in ATK mode and had 4000 Atk. Too make matters worse Tania had a face-down card and I had a feeling what it could be, and it would make things much worse for Toph.
"I hope Lythos hasn't broken your spirit Toph" Tania told the blind Earth Bender "But rest assured if he hasn't broken your spirit yet, he will in the end."
"Oh he don't scare me!" Toph told Tania "We'll find a way to win this! It's my move, I draw!"
Toph drew a card with Tania speaking up as Toph entered her Stand-by Phase "I activate my Continous Trap Card: Final Attack Orders!"
Toph grits her teeth and she wasn't the only one that did, Haku, Hanabi and I were doing that too as we knew this was very bad for Toph even as Toph's Giganticastle was switched into Attack mode which sense it was Special Summoned back it lost it's boost of attack so it fell to it's normal attack value at 2900.
"Why is this something to be frightened of?" Sokka asked.
Naruto finally frowned understanding why this was my reaction to this "Final Attack Orders forces Toph's Monsters to be in attack mode and they can't switch to defense mode."
"Unless a card effect says so otherwise" I added on and I looked at Lythos "Which is a dangerous combination with Lythos's effect."
"Why is that?" both Naruto and Sokka asked.
"You'll see why once it gets to Tania's turn" I answered them and I frowned worried "I've never been this worried for someone whom has to face Final Attack Orders!"
Haku also frowned knowing this wasn't going well for Toph "I know what you mean. Normally that sort of Trap Card could be countered by having more monsters on the field, but with Lythos that's a different story..."
"Things may look bad for me" Toph admitted "But I'm not gonna quit!"
She took a look at her drawn card "And I'll be doing my best to win this Duel!"
She looks at Lythos the Earth Titan as she thought But first, I need to be able to survive this.
She eyes her hand "From my hand I'll activate a Continous Spell Card: Raging Sand Storm!"
Toph then spoke as a raging sandstorm appeared on the field "This unqiue continuous Spell Card has two effects! The first one can't be applied till my next Stand-By Phase, but one effect I can use now. If I am able to Normal Summon an Earth Attribute Monster, I can Special Summon another Earth Attribute Monster from my hand as long as that monster's level is equal to or less than the Normal Summoned monsters."
"Interesting!" Tania told her "But it'll make no difference compared to Lythos the Earth Titan!"
"We shall see won't we?" Toph asked "Now I'll Normal Summon my Stone Princess Tuner Monster!"
Stone Princess appeared on the field ATK: 1000
"And that was only the Normal Summon" Toph warned Tania "Now my continous Spell card's effect will let me Special Summon another Earth Attribue Monster whose level is equal to or less than Stone Princess whom is a level 4 monster!"
"Bring it on!" Tania told Toph "It will not save you!"
"We'll see" Toph said "With this done, I can Special Summon, the level four Gem Hound from my hand!"
A gem like dog appeared on Toph's side of the field ATK: 1000
"Interesting" Tania said.
"Now" Toph said "I'll tune my level 4 Stone Princess, with my level four Gem Hound!"
Stone Princess burst into four rings as it scans the level four Gem Hound. While this was happening Toph chant out "Mighty Earth beneath our feet, hear thy call and bring out your rock hard defense, Earth Bend, Synchro Summon...Limestone Gargoyle!"
Limestone Gargoyle appears on Toph's side of the field in attack mode sense it was the only mode it could be in ATK: 2500.
Toph checked her hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."
"I suppose that was all you could've done" Tania said with a smile on her "It's my move, I draw!"
She drew her card "Now I'll activate Lythos the Earth Titan's special ability! Once per turn I can have him switch the battle positions of all monsters you have on the field, if any are switched into defense mode, they are automatically destroyed!"
"Was this why you were alarmed sis?" Naruto asked.
"Yes" I admitted.
"But how can she do that?!" Sokka demanded "Final Attack Orders prevents that!"
"How naive you are Sokka" Tania said answering his question "My Titan Card's ability allows it to safely bypass my Final Attack Orders Trap Card."
"Say what?!" Sokka demanded "That's cheating!"
I sighed "No it's not, as long as it's in the card's effect."
Tania smiled "Watch and learn! Go, Lythos use your Devasting Quake ability!"
Lythos lifted up one of it's feet and slams it into the ground causing a dangerous Earthquake which changed all of Toph's Monsters into defense mode. Toph spoke "I'll activate Limestone Gargoyle's special ability, once per turn on giving up it's ability to not be destroyed by battle, I can prevent my monster's destruction by card effect! Limestone Protection"
While Giganticastle was destroyed Toph Limestone Gargoyle was spared due to Toph activating it's effect.
"Impressive" Tania said "But that just means my Monster can easily destroy yours! Battle! Lythos, the Earth Titan attack Limestone Gargoyle, Earth Shaking Titanic Stomp!"
While Tania's monster was about to do so Tania also spoke "Amazoness Summoner's effect will activate! You see the monster she was tributed for has it's attack points doubled during the Battle Phase!"
Tania's monster lifted up it's foot again but this time to destroy Toph's Monster while having it's attack points double 4000-8000. Toph spoke "I activate my Trap Card!"
"Trap Cards won't work on a Titan Card!" Tania shouts.
"True but this card is to defend my monster!" Toph told her and Tania gasped "That's right!"
Toph activated her trap card: Specifically, my Trap Card, Defensive Sand!"
This was a new Trap Card and Toph explained it's effect "I can only activate this Trap Card if the Continous Trap Card, Raging Sand Storm is out on the field, With it, I can negate my monster's destruction by battle but only once per turn."
Tania smirks as Lythos's Attack returned to it's orginal 4000 "Impressive but coming your turn, Final Attack Orders will shift your monster back into Attack mode. For now I'll end my turn."
I gave out a sigh of relief, at least Toph survived this round, and I knew if she had any chance of success against Tania and her Titan Card, it was gonna involve Limestone Gargoyle, at least it could defend itself against being destroyed by Lythos's effect. Then with her Defensive Sand Trap Card she could prevent her monster's destruction by Battle. She had to delay and knowing that during any player's battle phase that Lythos would have it's attack points doubled which meant Toph's Monster had to have an attack over 8000 during the Battle Phase in order to defeat it. In short it wasn't gonna be easy.
Naruto huffed "And I thought Wicked Dreadroute's eight thousand attack points and halving all other monster's ATK on the field was bad..."
"Lythos in this combo is even more dangerous" I said "And to top it off Wicked Dreadrout wouldn't even affect Lythos due to Lythos being a Titan Card."
"GOSH DARN IT!" Naruto snapped angrily at this "Why can't I ever get something that could easily trawrt Sasuke!"
"Hey Mr. Loudmouth!" Toph snapped at Naruto "I'm dueling Tania here! Besides at least you won against him! I lost!"
"Shutting up" Naruto replied to Toph's snap with a sweat drop and for once nervous tone, after all he wasn't gonna end up having a rock to the head or be buried alive underground and left for dead. He had figured that Toph's rath was worse than getting a beatdown by Sakura Harunto.
I gave out a sigh, out of the two options, I didn't know what was worse, Toph's earth bending wrath or Sakura's fists...I like Naruto was leaning towards Toph's rage, but the beatdown Sakura's fists could deliver would only get worse for my brother the more she trained with Lady Tsunade...
"Well then" Toph said "It's my move, I draw!"
She drew her card checking out the situation as her monster was switched into attack mode due to Final Attack Orders forcing her monster into it ATK: 2500.
She then checked her hand as her Stand By Phase was coming up "Now you're in for it Tania, while the Continous Spell Card, Raging Sand Storm is out during each of my stand by phases, you'll take 500 points of damage and you're monster loses 500 attack points!"
"I may take 500 points of damage but Lythos being a Titan Card won't be losing five hundred of it's attack points!"
Toph frowned as her spell's effect wouldn't work to lower Lythos the Earth Titan's attack points but it did do damage to Tania's Life Points. Tania gasps for breathe as the sand storm deducted her Life Points. Tania's Life Points: 2800
"Now that we're even" Toph said "Things seem to be better."
"Only a minor convinece!" Tania told her opponent.
"Minor hugh?" Toph demanded "Well let's see if I can show you a major move then, I equip Limestone Gargoyle with the Gem Forcefield equip Spell Card!"
A forcefield made out of gem stones surrounded Limestone Gargoyle with Toph explaining "Thanks to this card, during MY battle Phase, I can have the equipped monster attack my opponent directly dealing only half of my monster's orginal attack points, providing I draw a Gem Monster when I declare an attack during my battle phase with the equipped monster!"
She then went straight to her Battle Phase "Which comes now! Alright now Limestone Gargoyle, attack Tania directly!"
"You're making a gamble!" Tania warned Toph "For if you don't draw a Monster you'll be forced to attack my Titan Card and let me remind you, Amazoness Summoner's effect goes into your battle phase as well which means Lythos has 8000 attack points!"
Toph smiled "Well why don't I pull off a Joey Wheeler then? Well I'm feeling lucky!"
She looked at her deck then she drew the card smirking "and what do you know? I drew what I needed!"
She revealed the card to be Gem-Horse.
"That might not be a Gem Knight Monster but it does have Gem in it's card name" I admitted.
"So that means?" Sokka asked me.
"It means Toph can go for her direct attack on Tania's Life Points!" Naruto answered "Go for it Toph!"
"What do you think I'm about to do?" the Earth Bender responded "Go, Limestone Gargoyle attack directly with Limestone Pierce!"
Limestone Gargoyle flew into the skies, adjusted it's spear so it pointed downward then flew straight down towards Tania whom looked at it fearlessly as it goes to pierce her in her shoulder. Tania stepped back watching as her Life Points fell but only by half of Toph's Monster's orginal attack points.
Tania's Life Points: 1550
"How's that for damage?" Toph taunted "Two well one more direct attack thanks to Gem Forcefield and my Raging Sand Storm's effect will earn me the victory!"
"I'm afraid that won't help you!" Tania said.
Toph eyes her "We'll see now won't we? For now I end my turn!"
"It's my move" Tania announced "I draw!"
She drew her card "I activate the Field Spell, Amazoness Cage!"
A cage appeared over the whole duel field.
"Now" Tania explained to Toph "Each of us gains 600 Life Points."
Both Tania and Toph gained 600 Life Points. Toph's Life Points: 3400, Tania's Life Points: 2150
"Now I shall activate Lythos's special abilitiy, once per turn I can switch the positions of all my opponent's monsters on the field, if any end up in defense mode, those monsters are destroyed, Devasting Quake!"
Toph watches as Lythos raises it's foot slamming it into the ground causing an Earthquake which switched Limestone Gargoyle into defense mode.DEF: 3000. However Toph wouldn't have her monster be destroyed "Then I activate my Limestone Gargoyle's special ability, by giving up it's ability to not be destroyed by battle, I can prevent it's destruction by card effect! Limestone Protection!"
"Impressive" Tania said with a giggle "I activate my Equip Spell Card: Fairy Meteor Crush! Now Lythos can inflict piercing damage!"
I grit my teeth, now there was no way of avoiding battle damage.
Tania spoke "Now even though your Defensive Sand Trap Card will activate, there isn't anything protecting you from battle damage so, Battle, Lythos the Earth Titan, attack Limestone Gargoyle with Earth Shaking Titanic Stomp!"
Toph watches as Lythos the Earth Titan lifted up one foot and prepares to slam it on Toph's defense monster even when it's attack points doubled to eight thousand.
Toph spoke "Then I'll activate the second effect of my Gem Forcefield! During my opponent's battle phase, I get to draw a card, and again if it's a Gem Monster, I can half the battle damage of the attack! Plus Defensive Sand Trap Card makes it certain my monster isn't destroyed by this attack!"
Tania smirks "Again leaving it to fate hugh? It worked for you the first time, but it won't work on it a second time, for if it fails you lose the Duel!"
"Then I better make sure to draw a Gem Monster!" Toph said to her looking at her deck "Come on, I trust my fate it the heart of the cards, come on deck give me a Gem Monster!"
She drew her card and looked at her drawn card and reveals it "And what do you know, fate of the cards worked that time!"
Her drawn card was Gem-Knight Crystal.
"Grr...You're luck is becoming annoying!" Tania said "But even with half of the battle damage taken, you're Life Points fall greatly!"
Toph watches as the battle damage was transferred over towards her via by a powerful earthquake and she leans down onto her knees as her Life Points fall muttering "This is bad...Even if my Gem Forcefield does succeed next turn...Tania's Titan Card will finish me."
Toph's Life Points: 900
"And it gets worse!" Tania told Toph "For now I activate Amazoness Cage's effect, any time our monsters battle, we both get to pay one hundred of our Life Points in order to inflict 100 points of damage to each other!"
Toph frowned "Oh great, now we're throwing physical punches?! I'm at a mismatch!"
"Oh you don't have to see me physcially Toph, our souls will do the clashing!"
"Fine, but there won't be much of a difference on my end" Toph muttered as both she and Tania paid one hundred Life Points each. Toph's Life Points: 800, Tania's Life Points: 2050.
Then the most unique thing happened, both Tania and Toph seemed to split apart as ghostly images appear right besides them freaking Naruto out.
"GHOSTS!" Naruto shouted waving his arms around and I could tell he wanted to burst out of the arena running in the opposite direction.
He would've had I not have sweat dropped at his reaction to this and had Haku with Lance's help not grabbed onto him.
"Come on you two!" Naruto pleaded "I don't want to get posseed!"
"You must not like ghosts" Sokka deathpaned at him.
"I'm afraid of them!" Naruto confessed.
"Those are just their souls Naruto" I muttered sweatdropping at my brother's hestiation.
"AREN'T GHOST DEPARTED SOULS?!" Nartuo shot back at me.
I sighed out he wasn't wrong there "Just relax brother it's only going to be a moment. Those 'ghosts' wont be there for long.
When it came to ghosts Naruto just wasn't listening but Haku and Lance both held him close and hard so he wouldn't get away even when he was kicking and shouting in panic "Come on Haku and Lance, let me go! I swear I'll pay you two to let me go!"
Aang looked at Naruto is disbelief as he asked me "And this was the boy that would venture into Hades underworld to rescue you?"
"It is" I sighed out.
I would be proven right both souls of Toph charge at each other. Both Toph and Tania unleash their fists at one another. Toph was somehow the first to try to strike Tania, barely missing. Tania in returned struck next missing as well barely. The two attempt another punch with this time Tania scoring the first blow reducing Toph's Life Points by one hundred. Toph grunts taking a step back feeling her Life Points take the hit while just now retaliating with her own punch. Both Tania and Toph take a step backwards as the souls of the two Duelist returned to normal. Toph's Life Points: 800, Tania's Life Points:1950
"Now, I'll end my turn" Tania reported watching as Limestone Gargoye shift into attack mode. ATK: 2500
Toph grunts knowing that coming Tania's turn that this was the turn she needed to win the Duel, ether that or draw Defense Draw to negate the Battle Damage. "It's my move" Toph announced "I draw!"
She drew her card and gave out a sigh of relief as she had drawn a card, then it went to Toph's Standby Phase "Raging Sand Storm's effect goes into play, you'll take 500 points of damage thanks for this card being on my side of the field during my stand by phase!"
Tania's Life Points fall down by five hundred points. Tania's Life Points: 1450
Toph points to Tania "Now it's time for battle, Limestone Gargoyle, attack directly!"
Tania smirks "Of course you realize that you need to draw a Gem Monster to do that."
"I do!" Toph admitted "And here it goes!"
Toph drew her card and shown it and it was Gem-Turtle.
"Nuts!" Tania muttered angrily.
Toph smiled pointing "Now go, Limestone Gargoyle attack directly! Limestone Pierce!"
Toph's Monster once more rose to the skies, adjusted it's spear then speared Tania's shoulder once again dealing damage.
"She's hanging in there" Naruto muttered.
I bit my lip as I watched Tania's Life Points fall "Yeah but can Toph survive one more turn?"
Tania's Life Points: 200
"We are about to find out" Toph muttered in agreement as she most likely set Gem Turtle in defense mode "I'll set a mystery monster face-down in defense mode, then throw down a face-down card and end my turn."
"It's my move!" Tania said "I draw!"
She drew her card "I'll activate Lythos's special ability, now I'll switch the battle positions of all of your monsters!"
Toph grinned "Yep but only one would be destroyed, had it not been for it's special ability, go Limestone Gargoyle, use Limestone Protection!"
The earth shook as both of Toph's monsters were shifted into opposite positions. Limestone Gargoyle shifted into defense mode using it's effect to prevent it's destruction by card effect while Gem Turtle was revealed to be Toph's set card and was now in attack mode.
Tania grinned "It doesn't matter which one of those monsters I attack, it's all over, Lythos, attack Gem Turtle and end this duel!"
Lythos the Earth Titan lifted up it's leg and stomped sending out a brutal earthquake at Toph's monster but Toph spoke "I activate my Trap Card, Defense Draw! This will make all Battle Damage I'd take with this attack zero and I get to draw a card!"
Tania frowned as Toph's Gem Turtle was destroyed. Normally she'd use her Field Spell's effect but at two hundred Life Points she couldn't risk it just yet. I did recall this was how she had ended up losing to Jaden when she and him dueled but I could also tell Hades wouldn't enjoy losing a Titan Card that way, so she didn't.
Toph then spoke "When Gem Turtle is destroyed, I get to add one Gem-Fusion card into my hand!"
Tania growls while Toph gains the said card "So you've managed to survive my attack, you won't last too much longer! I'll end my turn with a face-down card."
"Well" Toph said with a grin "looks like I win next turn curtisoy of Raging Sand Storm's effect! Here I go, I draw!"
"Hold on there!" Tania announced "I activate my Trap Card, Amazoness Surprise Attack!"
Tania's face-down card activated "Now all spell or trap cards on your side of the field are destroyed, for each one destroyed you lose two hundred Life Points!"
Toph's three Spell Cards were destroyed and she took six hundred points of damage bringing Toph's Life Points to the same amount as Tania's with Toph taking arrows into her chest. Toph was once again on her knees. Toph's Life Points: 200
"Now what are you going to do Earth Bender?" Tania demanded with a smirk on her face "You're protection combo has lost, and you're Life Points are the same...Coming my next turn I'll win."
Toph was in major pain but she smiled "Time for the last effect of Gem Forcefield! When it is destroyed I can special summon any of my drawn Gem Monsters that I drew because of it's effect!"
Tania frowns "So what? You having more monsters won't help you but bring them on!"
"Will do!" Toph said "I'll special summon my Gem Horse and Gem Knight Crystal!"
Gem Knight Crystal appeared on the field as well as Gem Horse. ATK: 2500, 1000
Toph smiled and scanned her hand, as she now could win "First I'll activate the spell card Gem Fusion, fusing Gem Horse and Gem Knight Crystal together in order to Fusion Summon Gem Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight!"
Toph's monster appeared on the field ATK: 3500
"What is Toph's grand scheme sis?" Naruto asked me "None of Toph's Monsters can touch Lythos as it will have 8000 attack once Toph declares Battle."
"Watch" I told him.
Toph now checked her hand "Then it's time for another Fusion summon."
"HOW?!" Naruto demanded and this was the same question Tania was asking.
Only Tania adds on "You can only fuse monsters with ether Polymerization or your Gem Fusion card!"
"True" Toph said "But tell me have you heard of the term, Contact Fusion?"
Tania blinked as she got it "No way...You're saying..."
Toph nodded "That's exactly what I'm saying, that Limestone Gargoyle and Gem Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight can preform a Contact Fusion! Just like Jaden Yuki and his Neo Spacians can!"
Just as she is speaking her two monsters began the process of Contact Fusion with Toph chanting out "Gem Knight of crystal merge with the ever lasting power of limestone to bring forwarth a new being! Fusion Summon, Level 12, Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon!"
When the fusion ended Limestone Gargoyle had fused with Gem Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight to exactly look like a Limestone Crystal Dragon with it's wings in shape of a Gargoyle and the horse that Crystal the Paladin Knight had rode now became battle armor.
ATK: 4000
"Impressive monster" Tania growls "But even it fails to defeat Lythos whom will have 8000 attack points during the battle phase curisoy of Amazoness Summoner's effect!"
Toph smirked "Oh? Then you don't know the might and power of Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon!"
Tania blinks as she noticed her graveyard was being cealed away with dangerous limestone covering it "What's going on?!"
"Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon is what's going on" Toph said to her "When she is successfully Fusion Summoned by Contact Fusion she negates and banishes all cards in my opponent's graveyard."
Tania began to get it "Oh-no! Amazoness Summoner's double attack point effect will only work if it remains in the Graveyard!"
Toph nods "You bet!"
Tania growls "So be it! Both Lythos and your new monster will have the same attack points they'll both be destroyed!"
Toph smirks "We'll see then! Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon, attack Lythos the Earth Titan with Limestone Crystal Bombardment!"
Limestone Crystals appeared from Toph's monster's wing tips as it showered over Lythos's heads with Tania speaking out "Did you forget? Lythos can't be destroyed with one attack!"
"What coincedence?" Toph asked Tania once Lythos tried to counter attack her monster back by lifting one foot "Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon can't be destroyed ether when she's attacking!"
"So?!" Tania asked "What was the point of that?!"
Toph answered with a smirk on her face "It's all due to her second special ability she has when it on my Battle Phase, if the monster she attacks isn't destroyed by battle she can attack again, but this time she gains attack points equal to the targetted monster's attack points!"
"So that first attack was-" Tania began now realizing Toph's plan.
Toph nodded "A clever decoy in order for Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon to gain four thousand attack points!"
"Clever!" I said watching this "Now Toph's in control!"
Toph's new monster gained 4000 attack points. 4000-8000
"And now" Toph said with a smile on her face "Gem Knight Limestone Crystal Dragon, attack Lythos the Earth Titan and end this Duel! Limestone Crystal Breathe!"
Instead of unleashing the crystals from it's wing tips, Toph's monster took a deep breathe, gained limestones and crystals into it's mouth and breathes out it's firey breathe. The attack connects and destroys Lythos the Earth Titan and ending the Duel in Toph's victory.
Toph's Life Points: 200
Tania's Life Points: 0
"ALRIGHT!" Sokka and I shouted "WAY TO GO TOPH!"
"EPIC COMEBACK!" Sokka added on "That was one in the million!"
"Well done Toph" Tania said to the Earth Bender "You've beaten me in the Duel and even though I did treat this as as Shadow Game, I must venture into the shadows once again...But first..."
As she is transforming into a tiger she manages to withdraw Lythos from her deck and gave it to Toph "Lythos is all yours now Toph."
Toph held the Titan Card with disbelief at first then frowned as Tania transformed into her tiger form "Tania...Why did you accept this card?"
Tania's response was "I wanted to keep it away from Hades as you see my tribe is loyal to Zeus. I only merely accepted the Titan Card to make sure it didn't fall into someone else's hands...Now it's back in your hands. Keep it safe."
Then the Shadow Rider had vanished with Toph collapsing due to her injuries. Katara rushes over to heal her "This will take a while but she won."
"That she did" I admitted and it was at this moment I litterally heard Hades screaming violently in the underworld at the realization he had been played by Tania and fully lost Lythos to Toph.
As if sensing this I smirked "Better check the profiles of those you select to wield your Titan Cards Hades. Otherwise just like in Tania's case it'll bite you in the butt."
While Katara was healing we kept watch.

I hoped this was a long chapter. Sorry for the two or three week long wait, I have been a bit busy and trying to think on how to progress this chapter. Next chapter is Chapter 68, Rampaging Air Duos: The Duelist Mai Valentine returns but under the mind control of Hades, forcing Aang to duel her to save the legendary Duelist's soul from the God of the Underworld but is Aang ready to face off but it maybe a Duel, Aang is in over his head.

Effect: This card can be Fusion Summoned by Contact Fusion by sending Limestone Gargoyle and Gem Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight from your field to the Graveyard. When this card is Fusion Summoned by Contact Fusion, negate and banish all cards in your opponent's Graveyard. If this card attacks during your Battle Phase it can't be destroyed in battle, if the targetted monster isn't destroyed, this card can attack the monster again if it does, this card gains that monster's ATK until the end of the Battle Phase. During your opponent's turn if they would activate a card effect that would destroy this card, *Quick Effect* negate that effect and destroy that card.
