It was night-time and in her room, a certain green-furred and purple-haired raccoon youngster was getting ready for bedtime wearing hernight-shirt snuggling her Build a Bear raccoonwhich her parents had added their voices to which was wearing armour like her dad's named Rockford which had accompanied her ijto space which had helped her but now she'd returned to her parents Gamora and Rocket unaware she had another sister named Shocket and a brother named RJ whom Gamora was putting to bed hearing gentle knocking on her door knowing it was her dad giggling softly entering with chocolate-milk and cookies her favourites as she hadn't had them when in space feeling happier seeing her dad there because she'd missed her parents which they got, hugging her, knowing she just needed time to get used to being back on Earth again knowing that before bedtime giving their lil green-bean sugar before bedtime as it would make her wired and playful, however Rocket wanted to see her happy.

"It's alright homey, after coming back from space, it might be hard to get used to being back here plus RJ and Shocket are so excited to get to know you, and see Rockford took care of you when sad or missing us." Rocket said to her as she was having her bedtime snack feeling energetic and web-crawling on the ceiling which made him face-palm needing to calm her, before Gamora saw or worried, she had a feeling Rocket would do something like this.

"Rocket, did you give her cookies and milk, for a snack." Gamora asked.

"Hehehe yep Mommy as he was trying to cheer me up." Emily told her giggling.

Gamora then knew what to do, as she was singing softly which was relaxing Emily into sleeping seeing her get down onto her bed, as they were tucking her in cuddling Rockford which was helping her despite not feeling sleepy as her parents kissed her goodnight which made a smile cross her face, but lay awake cuddling Rockford talking to him unaware Shocket had heard her as she was curious about her mysterious sister that had disappeared but suddenly returned, which made her suspicious so would observe her then if she was an imposter, she could take care of her going back to her room thinking while talking to Linda on her phone, telling her about Emily.

"I'll come over later, and help." she told Shocket.

"Thanks Ducky, you're the best." Shocket replied.

She was getting onto her bed, cuddling Quacker, her stuffed duck and was yawning falling asleep herself hoping that her suspicions about Emily weren't true as her parents were so happy to have her back in their lives.

That next morning, Emily felt super-sleepy because she hadn't slept and when she tried, she suddenly awoke thinking she was still in space hearing her dad calling her and Shocket for breakfast yawning deciding to web-crawl instead of taking the stairs making Shocket's furry jaw drop, noticing her lomg-lost sister was tired with her tail dragging behind her determined to figure this out following Emily imto the kitchen seeing RJ in his highchair eating messily despite Gamora feeding him which made Emily giggle softly, she'd alsays wanted a brother or sister to play with surprising Shocket by her sentiment keeping on alert while her dad served them breakfast surprised hearing Emily yawning guessing she hadn't slept last night advising she sleep after breakfast seeing her nodding enjoying the pancakes and orange-juice, only Rocket noticed how quiet Shocket was being, sensing she was up to something.

"Dad, you sure Emily's my sis, not an imposter." Shocket said.

"Shocket Melissa Raccoon, you're not stirring the pot, right." he told her.

"Nope and still don't know what that means but something about her is off." she said, as he sighed deciding to let her figure this out for herself seeing Linda was here frowning guessing that she had asked the female-duckling to help with her thoughts about Emily.

"Sorry but Emmy's sleeping, as she didn't sleep good las night." Rocket warned them.

Linda noticed a frown on Shocket's face at her dad's words as she'd planned to interrogate her so-called sister with Linda's help being the detective-in training seeing Gamora playing with RJ on the floor which addedto Shocket'sfrustration trying to distract her by doing some science.

"What's goig on, are you my sister, Shocket that daddy told me about." Emily asked.

"We'll ask the questions Emily, if that's your actual name." Linda said acting tough making Emily feel uncomfortable as Linda was asking her questions getting an idea to mess with Shocket as despite being sweet and shy, she could be mischievousat times.

"You're right sis, I'm an imposter and a Skrull, whatcha you gonna do about it." Emily told her seeing Shocket run off finding her dad who was making snacks wondering what had his troublemaker fired up until he heard her telling him trying to keep from laughing hysterically making Shocket glare.

"Dad thisis serious, we have a Skrull in our house." Shocket blurted out.

"First off use your inside-voice and second, Emmy isn't a Skrull." he replied.

Emily then scampered in using her webs, impressing Shocket explaining to Shocket about her sister that was half-symbiote and had Spidey-powers impressing her and Linda feeling bad they'd scared her seeing Rocket making snacks while RJ was sleeping making Shocket sigh, as she can't do anything loud until RJ was awake which Rocket had explained to Emily about that which she understood plus her dad had helped put her stuffie friends that had been in storage when she'd been in space back in her room which made her happy and felt like her room again.

"Welcome home." she said softly to herself.
