Khooohh-Pruuhh.
The Black clad figure stepped onto the bridge of the floating Star Destroyer outside of the Outer Rim. Numerous planets and stars flickered in the distance. The Imperial officers were startled to see him enter the room despite seeing him numerous times. Their heartrates accelerated and their hands sweated profusely as his mechanical breathing echoed across the room. All the fear radiated from the Admiral who watched the stars in the distance at the front. He tried to maintain his composure, but a light blanket of sweat covered his forehead under his gray hat. The black figure's foot steps continued they stopped. The mechanical breathing continued until the figure spoke. "Admiral Ozzel." He sounded unimpressed as his mechanical voice seemed to have echoed throughout the bridge. He actually was unimpressed. The Admiral had served under him for a while yet here he was, shaking and sweating a river. One would think that he would calmer and collected by now.
Ozzel turned his head away from the window and sure enough he was standing there. He cleared his throat. "Lord Vader," he said nervously. "We have received a message that the Emperor wishes to speak with you." Darth Vader nodded his head slightly, knowing that Emperor Palpatine was going to contact him sooner or later when he started this journey guided by the Force. "When we are above Raxus Prime I will do so." The Sith Lord said before he turned and began walking out of the bridge. He stopped and turned back to Ozzel. "I expect exceptional results from you Admiral Ozzel. Do not fail me."
Ozzel stuttered, "Of course Lord Vader. I aim to please.
Darth Vader-Keep the ship idle. If we are attacked by Rebel force, I will be the first to know. Now wait for further instructions.
The Sith Lord turned and left. He then walked into his chambers and activated the subspace transceiver before dropping to one knee. He waited for a short moment before a large blue hologram filled the air above Darth Vader. "My Master," the Sith greeted.
"Lord Vader," Palpatine said. "You are beyond the Outer Rim of the Galaxy, beyond the territory of the Galactic Empire." There was the unasked question of 'why?' in the Emperor's tone. His apprentice gave him the half-truth to why he went beyond the Outer Rim without the Emperor's orders.
"Through the Force I have sensed the presence of a powerful Force Sensitive on a planet beyond the Outer Rim," Darth Vader said. The truth was that the Force had been calling Lord Vader, guiding him to the planet before he felt the presence of the Force Sensitive.
"A Jedi that survived the rise of the Empire, or perhaps the son of Anakin Skywalker?" Palpatine asked, mildly curious. "I have come to think that it is the former, Master." Vader replied.
Palpatine-Very well. You may proceed Lord Vader. If it is a Jedi that will not serve the Empire kill them. But if it is the son of Skywalker bring him to me.
Lord Vader bowed his head. "Yes Master." After the transmission ended, the Sith walked out of his chambers and met one of the captains. "Have my ship prepared." He ordered. Captain Piet nodded. "Do you require an escort my Lord?" he asked. "No, I will do this myself. Tell Admiral Ozzel that my last order still stands." Piet nodded again. "Yes my Lord."
So this is the planet the Force was guiding me to, Darth Vader thought as his Advanced TIE Fighter flew to a planet. He rose an eyebrow at the sight of the planet's moon which was shattered. Peculiar, he thought. Asteroids and comets were not responsible. It was clear that the moon was shattered by a laser blast of sorts. Which was odd. Vader's scan indicated that the planet did not have any technology close to that or even space travel. And he knows from memory that neither Republic or the Empire were not responsible. Such an event would have been recorded.
If a Jedi or even Luke picked this planet to hide from the Empire, they had picked rather well. He closed his eyes and reached out with the Force to pinpoint the location of the Force Sensitive of the planet before he flew his TIE to the continent shaped like a wingless dragon resting on a rock. He entered the atmosphere and then landed in a forest clearing near a small settlement.
"Can I help you sir?" A innkeeper asked eying Darth Vader nervously. The Sith's appearance unnerved him and a few of his customers. "I am merely passing through." Vader replied. "Are there any settlements or cities nearby?" he asked. "W-Well follow the trail west and it'll take you to a train station and the train will take you the Kingdom of Mistral. " The Innkeeper said. Without another word, Darth Vader walked out of the inn. The man shivered a bit. Was it just him or was the room temperature below forty for a moment?
Darth Vader walked down the dirt path for a short distance away from the town before he came to a fork in the road. He felt the Force draw him to the path on the left which had a sign that said "The Pine farm." So he walked until he came across a small farm. He scanned the area before he walked up to the door. He knocked on the wooden door but nothing happened. He knocked again but got the same results. He rose his hand and opened the door with the Force and reached for his lightsaber.
He walked around the house before he summoned his lightsaber and blocked a blue lightsaber held by a woman. "I always knew you would come here, monster." The woman snarled before she tried to strike Vader again. The Sith simply blocked the lightsaber before knocking it out of her hand and grabbed her with the Force and held her in the air. "You have much to learn Padawan." He said mockingly. "Now where is your master?" He asked. This was not the Force Sensitive that he had sensed. "My master's dead!" The woman gasped while glaring at Vader with anger. "You killed him years ago!"
Vader-If that is true then who is-?
Before he could finish, his lightsaber was pulled out of his hand. He turned and saw that it was held by a three year old boy. He glimpsed into the woman's mind to see the connection she had with this boy. He'd expected it to be a son but it was the opposite. "A son." He said. This Padawan must have had a sibling here on this planet with her once.
"No! Oscar run!" The woman shouted before Darth Vader clenched his fist and gave her a quick death. He summoned his lightsaber back into his hand and readied to strike the boy down. He paused and glanced at his lightsaber. A young Force Sensitive had pulled his weapon from him. An untrained Force Wielder had pulled his weapon from him. Despite it seeming to be a simply feat, not many if none at all could the trick off other than the Jedi Grand master, his own master Darth Sidious or his former secret apprentice Starkiller.
He looked back at the boy who looked at his crimson lightsaber in awe. The Dark Side was clouding his mind at the moment. Darth Vader deactivated his lightsaber and knelt down to the boy's level. He then extended his hand. "Oscar was it?" He asked. Oscar looks up to him and nods his head before looks at Vader's gloved hand. "Perhaps we can make an arrangement." Darth Vader said.
Oscar glanced back up to Lord Vader's helmet before he slowly reached for the black gloved hand.
So what do you think? I got a bit inspired by the Star Wars game, Force Unleashed II and even mentioned Starkiller by name.
Now this takes place after the events of A New Hope if you're all wondering.
Now when the time comes, tell me what would be a good Sith title for Oscar. I got a few in mind but I'm open to any suggestions before I decide.
