"I'm so excited we're finally going to be playing one of your games!" Anzu gushed.
"Yeah, this day's been a long time in the making!" Honda added.
"Thanks guys! I'm glad I finally get to share it with you," Yugi replied.
"This is going to be so much fun!" Jounouchi cheered. "But listen," he continued, "there's one other person who I think would love to take part."
"Who's that?" Otogi asked.
"I've been messaging Mai and she's been dying to see you guys. Plus, I think she'd be a strong player!" Jounouchi said.
"We haven't seen her since our beach trip. How is Mai doing?" Bakura asked.
"She's doing great! Her and I, uh, we're actually planning on having dinner tonight," Jounouchi shared.
"Oohh, someone's got a date," Otogi said.
"It's not a date!" Jounouchi tried to clarify. "We haven't seen each other in a while.'
"Well, I'd be happy to have Mai join us," Yugi said with a bright smile. "It'd be great to see her again."
"Thanks Yug, I'll let her know tonight," Jounouchi replied.
"So, what're you going to wear," Anzu asked teasingly.
"Guys!" Jounouchi cried out, blushing slightly. "We're friends!"
"For now," Honda quipped. "Last I checked, you're legal!"
"Knock it off!" Jounouchi tried again.
The group merely giggled, ignoring his grumbling.
