Reviews

The Court of Talons-Thanks.

Skyslasher-Vader took a different approach alright. As for Oscar, you'll find out.

Vigriff-Yeah, I can agree on that.

Haxorous Knight-To paraphrase a quote of Winston from John Wick Chapter 2, "She has no idea what's coming. She walked into the Dragon's den. Demanded use of his empire and from one of his rats. What do you think he'll do?"

BOOTYboy-Thank you. Nice to know more people accept Kylo Ren. And my story here.

Guest from Ch. 1-Yeah, I'll admit that I got some if not all inspiration from "Maul's New Empire." Now for your questions.

1) That's for me to know and you to find out. It's a collision course I'll say that.

2) He might. I have thought of it during Ch. 5. I'm open to suggestions, if you have any.

Zero-Yeah, I can agree that the Sequels had bad writing but, in my view, Kylo Ren was the only one with little bad writing.

On a personal note, have any of you experienced a large feeling of pride? For someone in your family speaking their first words. Because my older sister posted a video of her first born asking a full question in our Native American language.

Without anything more, let's get this show on the road. This may be my longest chapter.

Chapter 7-An Arrogant Little Girl

Three days later...

Roman's Scroll suddenly went off. "Huh?" he said confused. He opened it and saw that it was a message from the boss. He wants to have a contact meeting with the rest of the circle. Now? The next meeting was supposed to be when Raven and Neo returned. Just then the door opened up and Neo walked in. Roman looked at the mute with wide eyes and glanced at his Scroll. That was fast. Then again, it's Neo he was talking about. "Welp, the Dark Lord wants to talk to us." He said before he and Neo walked into his private office.

He activated the communicator and immediately the holograms of Lord Vader, Hill and Branwen appeared. Then a fourth hologram appeared. It was the Apprentice. Well shit. If the Apprentice was in this meeting, shit was serious. The kid hardly was in these meetings.

"Torchwick, Hill, Branwen report." The Dark Lord said. "Have any of you met anyone recently?" he asked. "Has your men reported seeing someone they don't recognize?" Roman glanced at the Branwen Leader who shook her head. "No, Lord Vader." She reported.

"Well, no." Robyn said in her office. "But Galen seemed to have some sort of...headache or a migraine." The Dark Lord turned to her. "Have him explain it." he ordered. Robyn raised an eyebrow, but she stepped aside and let Galen take her place. "I had a vision." he said. "It seemed that a woman was under attacked. There was this insect like Grimm and then it was like..."

Darth Vader-Like you were being Force Drained. Your energy and life were being drained out of your body and then by the swing of a blade, it's all over.

Robyn raised an eyebrow. "So, you know what it's about?" she asked as she stepped back in place. "Not entirely." Lord Vader replied. "My apprentice and I will look into it." He turned to Roman when the man cleared his throat. "Well, I did have a meeting with a woman and two teenagers recently." He spoke.

Vader-Go on.

"Well, the lady in red seemed to be a terrorist that wanted to attack the city of Vale." Roman said. "Are you certain?" The Apprentice asked. "Yeah, whatever they planned just screamed terrorism." The master thief replied. "And what was their plans?" Lord Vader asked.

"Well, the woman didn't tell me everything." Roman admitted. "But from what I saw, they had plans to attack numerous spots on Vale, but they really, really seemed interested in Beacon Academy." he said.

"Beacon?" Lord Vader repeated. "Why would they want to do that?" The Apprentice asked. Raven narrowed her eyes under her mask in suspicion. "Do you have information about these people Torchwick?" The Dark Lord asked. "Yes, I had my men look up what could." Roman replied with a hint of pride. He picked up his Scroll. "Sending the info now." he said. Darth Vader held up his own Scroll and began to read off the information.

Darth Vader-Mercury Black. Son of Marcus Black, a well-known assassin in Mistral and Vacuo. Emerald Sustrai. A simple cat burglar and thief with a history with numerous heists. And Cinder Fall...There isn't anything on this woman.

He turned to Roman slowly. "Why do you not have anything on her Torchwick?" He asked, anger rising in his voice. Roman held his hands up. "There wasn't anything my men could find. I think it may be some alias." Roman said. "He's got a point." The Apprentice said.

"Very well. How did you end this deal?" Vader asked. Hidden in his mechanical voice was a threat to kill him if Roman betrayed him. Or rather, kill Neo. "I simply told them no. I had all the Lien they had already to offer and could make more less than a year." Roman said, completely honest. After seeing thirty videos of the Dark Lord and his Apprentice slaughtering those who tried to betray them, Roman Torchwick and Neo had no plan to join their suicide mission. "It was just a bad investment." he added. "How did this Cinder Fall take it?" The Apprentice asked. "Honestly, better than I thought. She left without saying much." Roman replied.

The Dark Lord seemed satisfied. "You were wise to inform me about this potential threat." He said. Roman blinked. Potential threat? The others seemed to be confused as well. "Is this really something we should be concerned about Lord Vader?" Raven asked.

"These could be terrorists Branwen." Vader replied. "There are two types of them that are willing to attack Beacon Academy. They are arrogant and there forth unprepared to fight an army of warriors in training or they are prepared. With what Torchwick has told, Cinder strikes me as the latter." He said.

"Plus, you should be concerned Raven," The Apprentice added. "Especially with them targeting the school your daughter will be attending next year." Raven blinked and was silent for a long moment.

Darth Vader-Darth Rasco will give you further instructions.

Roman and Neo blinked. Rasco? Darth? The inner circle looked to the Apprentice as the Dark Lord stepped out of view. "Branwen, have your men look for information on this Cinder Fall." He turned to Robyn. "Hill, grant the Reds and Blues access to Atlas's archives and have them do the same." Robyn nodded. Rasco turned to Roman. "Should the opportunity arise, bring Black and Sustrai in. They may be useful for our empire." he said. "As for Cinder Fall herself, bring her alive but should she prove to be more trouble than she's worth...kill her."

Roman-Don't got a problem with that.

Ditto, Neo signed. Darth Rasco nodded before the call ended. Roman and Neo glanced at each other. "Well, that wasn't what I expected." Roman commented. Neo shrugged indifferent.

1 week later...

"The Huntsman severed the connection before it was complete...Yes. It's an emptiness. It burns. Like a hunger for more...I like it. Yes, my Queen. I will claim what is ours."

Cinder Fall sat on a bed playing with fire. Literally. "So," Mercury said to her. "Who are we going to revisit?" he asked, an eager grin forming on his lips. "The so-called next Luther King or Mr. fancy crime boss?"

Emerald-We would have to track Roman Torchwick though. And that would take a while.

Mercury-Okay, good point. But that shouldn't be hard.

"But Adam Taurus on the other hand," Cinder spoke up, her ball of fire growing in size. "He is still in the Forever Fall." Both the thief and assassin smiled with anticipation with their leader.

The Emerald Forest, Saunus.

Darth Vader and Lord Rasco walked through the forest. Night had settled and dark clouds blocked out most of the moonlight. The Sith Lord crossed his arms, "What do you see, Apprentice?" He asked. Rasco's eyes scanned the area. "Burnt craters, tree leaves frozen solid." He stated. "Multiple footprints. Broken fence posts." He turned to Lord Vader. "Clearly this was where the fight took place."

Vader-Very good, Lord Rasco.

They both then walked further down the path. And saw two more footprints that came from another road. That must be the one who severed the connection. Rasco knelt down and picked up a handful of ash. "No wire, no shrapnel." he said. "An explosive Semblance, perhaps?" Vader asked. Rasco nodded.

This confused both Sith to a degree. There was no sign of the girl that experienced the Drain. The man in the vision must have removed her from the area. "It is no coincidence that we experience a vision of this fight and Torchwick meets with Cinder Fall." Vader stated as the Apprentice stood up. "Yes, Fall must have had this fight after she met with Torchwick." Rasco said.

Vader-That leaves only one question.

Rasco-Who was the girl that Cinder Fall attacked?

"And why did the Force warn us of it?" Darth Vader asked. Suddenly a Scroll rang. Rasco pulled his out and saw that it was from one of Roman's subordinates. "Yes?" He answered the phone. "What? On whose orders?" he demanded, the Sith Lord sensed the anger rising from his Apprentice. Rasco hung up the call. "What is the matter, Rasco?" Lord Vader asked. "It seems we need to speak to Roman." The Apprentice replied. Darth Vader rose an eyebrow.

After hearing the explanation, Darth Vader completely understood why Darth Rasco was angry about Roman.

Roman was not having a good day. Over an hour ago, Cinder Fall and her two brats came back. First, they attacked one of his convoys, interrogated where he was, then came in and Cinder used some all-powerful Semblance to fight him and Neo and almost beat them to death and finally force Roman to work for her. He had bloody sword to his throat and his Aura was down! He had no choice!

He had a small sense of Deja vu. On the bright side, Neo wasn't threatened like with the Dark Lord. But that didn't mean Roman was angry about the turn of events. Oh no, he was furious.

Right now, Roman had to vent his rage on a wall. "Stupid! Overpowered! Thugs!" he shouted as he slammed his cane on the wall before he sat down with a sigh and turned to Neo who held an ice pack to her head. "Neo, why can't people normal Semblances?" he asked. Neo merely shrugged in response. Father and daughter sat in silence before Neo signed, how are we going to tell this to the Dark Lord?

Roman sighed. "I'll be honest and straight to the point." he replied. "I'm sure he'll understand. I mean, I had no choice." he added. He stood up and they both walked to his office to call Lord Vader. However, when Roman entered first what he saw made his heart jump into his throat.

Darth Vader sat in Roman's desk. His Apprentice, Darth Rasco and a small handful Stormtroopers stood behind him. two holograms of Raven and Robyn were on the table. "Torchwick." Vader growled. "...Lord Vader," Roman said slowly. "Lord Rasco." he nodded to the Apprentice. Darth Rasco turned to the Stormtroopers. "Leave us and make sure no one disturbs us." Translation: block the only exit. Roman thought.

Darth Vader-You seem unsettled.

"I-I just wasn't expecting a staff meeting," Roman tried to joke with a stammer. "I imagine you weren't." Rasco replied sarcastically and yet there was a dangerous tone in his voice. "So, uh...what brings you back to Vale like this?" Roman asked. "The Pope?"

Both the Dark Lord and Apprentice stared at him, and he could feel Neo glaring at him. "Lord Rasco received a call from one of the subordinates two hours ago, informing us that all the weapon shipments are placed on hold." Darth Vader informed. Roman internally winced. That canceling was something Cinder ordered him to do. He did so in order to not rouse any suspicion from her. "What were you thinking?" Vader demanded.

Gulping down his fear, or at least trying, Roman held a calm face. "Lord Vader, let me explain." He said. "It was Cinder Fall and her brats. She came back and attacked one of the convoys." he said. "She interrogated one of the guys into telling her where I was before she came to my hideout and attacked me and Neo. She forced me to join her Lord Vader. None of our tricks worked."

Silence filled the room, only the Dark Lord's mechanical breathing was heard. Both Raven and Robyn looked at him surprised before they slowly turned to Lord Vader as the Dark Lord stood up. "A woman and two children could not have possibly done this under two hours alone." He said as he stepped towards Roman. "It's true, Lord Vader." Roman said steadily. Neo stood by Roman, her sign of backing Roman up.

"There is no Semblance that powerful." Vader argued. Roman opened his mouth to argue back before he noticed that both the Dark Lord and Apprentice paused and glanced to one another. "Unless..." Lord Rasco said before they both turned to Raven. Darth Vader raised his black gloved hand in front of Roman. Roman's eyes widen. The Dark Lord rose his hand like that when he was choking the life out of those who had betrayed him.

Fearing the worse, Neo jumped in front of Roman to protect her father from Vader's invisible grip before Darth Rasco flicked his hand and she was thrown to the wall. "Neo!" Roman called out in worry before he saw Vader's hand in front of his face. "Do not resist, Torchwick." The Dark Lord ordered. "It will make this less painful for you. Now, show me everything about Cinder Fall."

Roman was briefly confused. Show him? How in the hell was he supposed to do that? Suddenly he felt pain in his head. No, this wasn't an ordinary headache or migraine. His grunts became screams of pain.

Robyn covered her mouth while Raven grimaced at the sight. Neo struggled in Rasco's grip as Roman fell to his knees holding his head while screaming in agony. Neo kicked and reached for Roman before, "Stop!" she screamed in a raspy voice. Lord Rasco and the others were visibly shocked at what they had just heard. Neither of them thought Neo was capable of speaking. "Stop it!"

Almost as quickly as he started, Vader stopped. Rasco dropped Neo who scrambled to Roman as he panted in pain. "My apologies, Torchwick." The Dark Lord stated. Despite him saying that, Roman doubted that he actually meant it. "I jumped to the conclusion that you were a traitor." he continued. "But this may be worse." He turned to Rasco. "Apprentice, hunt down the Maiden. Toy with her, test her skills." Darth Rasco nodded. "Yes, master." he said before he walked out of the room. Darth Vader turned back to Roman. "Set up a meeting for Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai with me. I will test their skills before I allow them to join the empire."

Roman looked up to him. "What's the plan, my Lord?" he asked. "It's time I meet Cinder Fall myself."

The Island of Patch...

(Play Red Like Roses Part 1 by Casey Lee Williams)

The moon shined brightly. For its shattered side was not in view on this particular night. Atop of a cliff, a girl in a red cloak stood in front of a gravestone. She stared at the grave in silence as her cape blew in the wind. Her Semblance was active at the moment and red rose pedals were blowing in the wind. After another moment, the girl began to walk away from the grave which read, "Summer Rose. Thus, kindly I scatter."

The girl walked through the snowy forest in a slow pace. A crow flew above her before it disappeared from view. The girl sighed and wiped a few tears that streamed down her cheeks as she walked. Despite how long it had been, the heartache was still fresh. It still hurts no matter what. She shook her head. She shouldn't focus on the negative, otherwise she'd draw the attention of Grimm. Despite that she enjoyed battling and slaying Grimm, right now she wasn't in the mood tonight. Oh wait, too late. The girl stopped upon entering a clearing. She glances around to see that she was surrounded by a large pack of 50 Beowolves at least. The girl in red sighed in exasperation. Oh well, this help put her new skills she was taught from her uncle to the test.

Two of them pounce at her but she disappears in a blur of rose pedals. The Grimm looked confused before they look up. The girl hovered in the air. Her hood fell off to reveal her face. She was fifteen years old. Her hair was black and dyed red at the tips but what was most noticeable were her silver eyes. Oh, and the mechanical sniper-scythe she wields as a weapon. It was her pride and joy. Something that took her weeks to perfect when she went to Signal for the first year.

She shot down Grimm after Grimm before she began to use her scythe. She then used her Semblance combined with Gravity Dust to zoom through the pack and sliced them to pieces. When it was done, she posed with the scythe as the Grimm turned to ash in the wind. She turned around and stared at the moon. She sighed sadly once again before continued to walk back to her home. Just keep moving forward like what her uncle had told her more than once.

Junior's Bar, the Kingdom of Vale.

Junior was serving drinks before he saw some of his men step back as someone shorter than the Malachite twins walk into the bar. He would have reprimand them until he recognized who it was. It was Roman's enforcer. "Junior." he greeted as he walked up to the counter. "Lord Rasco." Junior replied with a swallow. "What do I owe this visit?" he asked.

"I'm looking for information," Rasco replied. He held up some Lien. "What do you know about Cinder Fall?" he asked. Junior sighed. "I hate to tell you Lord Rasco, but I know zilch about this woman." Junior said. And that was the truth. But apparently Lord Rasco was displeased with that.

"You claim that you are Vale's greatest source of intel," he said. "How can you not know about one woman?" he asked incredulously. "Hey, I ain't running a freaking spy network." Junior said defensively. Rasco's yellow-hazel eyes narrowed. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Very well then." He pushed the Lien to Junior and then walked to the end of the counter and sat down. Junior briefly thought he might be in trouble before he saw a group of Faunus enter the bar. They may not have been dressed like it but Junior knew White Fang when he saw them.

"What can I do for you kids?" Junior asked. One of the Faunus clearly didn't like humans, if her scowl and glare was anything to go by. The Deer Faunus held up some Lien. "We hear that you are a great source of intel in Vale." That was a fact Junior was greatly proud of. Of course, as Rasco knows, he wasn't all knowing. "We're just curious why Roman Torchwick stopped his operations of weapon shipments." The Deer Faunus said.

Junior shrugged. "Honestly, I don't really know. He didn't really say anything until now. I heard that he's recently beginning to store his weapons and Dust in his warehouses." Junior said. "I got a few hunches of what he is doing but," he shrugged again. "Eh."

The Faunus began to talk among themselves after the Deer gave Junior the money. Apparently, their suspicions about the White Fang being restocked were correct. Junior decided to take note of that, then one of them mentioned a fire lady and the name Cinder. He sees Rasco perk up and turn to them away from the Twins. He narrows his eyes before he quickly said goodbye to the Twins and walked to the Faunus.

"Excuse me?" He said to them when he got close. The Wolf Faunus instantly scowled. Apparently, her prejudice was reserved to humans of all ages. "What do you want, pipsqueak?" she asked. "Pardon me for listening in your conversation but you mentioned someone named Cinder." he said. "This wouldn't happen to be Cinder Fall, is it?" he asked.

"What's it to you?" The Wolf snarled. "I mean no harm. I'm willing to pay you if you tell me where I can find her." Rasco replied. "We're not interested in talking to you kid." A Skunk Faunus said coolly. "But I-" Rasco protested before the Wolf interrupted him. "Do we have to spell it out for you?" she asked as they all stood up ready to fight. Rasco stayed silent before he sighed. "Very well." He said. "Enjoy your night." He walked away back to his chair but not before he glanced at Junior.

The bartender sighed before he walked to where Lord Rasco sat. "What is now, my Lord?" he asked. "I want you ignore what's going to happen next to those Faunus." The boy said. "They have information I want. I tried to give them a chance but now I have to take matters into my own hands." he took out more of his Lien and placed it in front of Junior. "Listen, people getting kidnapped isn't out of the norm here on your territory. Civilians know, other criminals know and even the police know." he said leaning forward. "What I'm asking is that you ignore this and the next events completely. Should the White Fang come looking, tell them that last of you saw them was when they walked out those doors." Rasco said. Junior looked at the Lien and the Faunus before saying, "Alright, my lips are sealed."

Rasco-Good, I shall the right person for the job and all I have to do is wait.

He pulled out his Scroll and Junior saw him click the contact 'Texas.'

(Control by Hasley)

Two weeks. That's how long Darth Rasco had been hunting for Cinder Fall. The first week, he waited for her to return to Torchwick or walk to Junior's Bar for manpower. But apparently the Maiden was stealthy as she is arrogant. Yes, she was arrogant to think she could use the empire his master had created and force his subordinate into obedience. A part of Rasco wanted to deal with the Maiden but he knew that Vader wanted to do the deed himself.

And now something finally arrived. The White Fang Faunus will have info about Cinder. He spent three hours waiting for them to leave the bar. Luckily the Malachite twins helped time pass. Thanks to his Stormtrooper Texas, he has the Faunus right where he wants them. An abandoned warehouse meant to be destroyed. A forgotten place, perfect for a soon to be forgotten meeting. With all the alcohol and the damage done to them, he couldn't use the Force on their minds. So, he'll have to do it the old-fashioned way.

"Hey! I'm talking to you, runt!" Oh right, he spent some time thinking about what he was going to do to Cinder he forgotten about his guests. He stood up turned to the Faunus, particularly the Wolf Faunus. She was still defiant even after a beating from Texas.

Darth Rasco walked up her. "I heard that the White Fang is working with Cinder Fall and Roman Torchwick." He spoke. "But aren't they both a human though?" He asked, feigning a confused look. "After getting a new High Leader and a more aggressive way of fighting for 'Faunus rights,' I thought any chance of an alliance with humans were low." He inwardly smirked when the Wolf Faunus seemed to shake in rage before exploding at him. "SHUT UP! SHUT THE HELL UP RUNT! FUCK OFF YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-"

"Grace!" The Deer Faunus said sternly. Apparently, Bambi was the leader of this group here. "Look, I don't know who you are kid," he said calmly. "But this isn't a smart move."

Rasco-Really?

"Yeah, the White Fang will strike back if they hear about this." Bambi said confidently. Rasco however could feel the fear and doubt growing underneath the surface. "And I'll tell you secret." The Deer leaned forward. "Now that we're working with Torchwick, we'll be able to take over Vale and build it in our image."

Force, this kid was naïve. Very naïve. "Ah yes, you'll be a force to reckoned with," Darth Rasco said. "However, your alliance is not something I approve of. Neither does my Master." That confused the Faunus. "Your master?" The Deer Faunus repeated. "Teacher," Rasco said simply. "Mentor, and to a degree, my father." he added. "Since you shared a secret, I'll share one of my own." He leans forward much like the Deer Faunus.

"Everything you have received," Rasco said. "Weapons and Dust from smugglers or any supplier here in the city. It belongs to my Master and I. Not Roman nor to some arrogant woman like Cinder Fall. My Master may plan to form an alliance with your organization but on his terms not Cinder. So, we are not allies yet and you will not get anything from our empire for free." He could feel the fear rising in the Faunus. "Cinder is very foolish and arrogant to think she can tell our subordinate what do and use our empire and soon, very soon, she will pay the price." he points to Deer Faunus. "And you Bambi are a fool for thinking you scare me with empty threats and bargain your freedom."

"No. No, you're lying." He said with a stammer. "Roman Torchwick is the kingpin. He controls everything in Vale and all the way to Mistral and Mantle."

Darth Rasco-And yet, you're doubting your words, Bambi. It wasn't Roman who brought you here. It was me. Now if-

"Oh, that is the biggest load of bull crap I have ever heard!" The Wolf Faunus interrupted. "Are you fucking kidding me?! You have to be the most delusional bastard I have ever met." she continued to call Lord Rasco every insult under the sun. He raised an eyebrow at the ones that sounded made up.

"Grace, stop." the Rabbit Faunus said, fearful of what their captor would do. "What, you actually believe this 'secret rulers of the underworld' shtick?" Grace asked. She turns to Rasco. "If you and your so-called master are that powerful, why the fuck doesn't anyone know about you? Every Kingdom would be after you and would be sending all the Huntsmen and Huntresses they could. You're obviously just a lying, spoiled-"

Blue light illuminated the room as lightning shot out from Rasco's fingers and struck Grace in the chest. The others watched in shocked horror as electricity surged through Grace's body. She screamed and squirmed in pain for what seemed like an eternity before Darth Rasco lowered his hand. "I find your rebellious act and lack of faith disturbing." he said with a growl.

"I asked those same questions to my Master years ago." He said as he walked over to her. "Not in your words though. I have more respect for him." Then, like a viper, his hand seized her throat. His Sith yellow eyes stared into her fear-filled brown eyes. "I was young and wanted the world to know my power. To fear my power and know my name. Fear my name. Respect my name. And he taught me a wise lesson." he said. "One I shall tell you." He lets go of her throat and turned away from her.

"There are many advantages from ruling in the shadows my young apprentice." Darth Vader had said. "While everyone has their attention focused elsewhere," he gestures to the thugs in the warehouse and to Roman Torchwick. "no one is wiser to what we are doing nor are they aware of our existence." He gestures to both Oscar and himself. "To put it simply-"

"We can do whatever we want, when we want." Rasco said. He turned back to the Faunus. "Childish I know, but no one will stop us, nor will they know." he picks up his axe Chaos Bringer. "For example is me killing you." he said. "No one will know, no one will come. The only ones who will are the rats, maggots and worms that will feast on your flesh."

He turned back to the Wolf Faunus. "What, all bark and no bite?" he asked mockingly. He sighed in disappointment as she lowered her head and said, "Screw you." But all her fire was gone. "Now, you're all aware of the situation you are in." He walks past the other Faunus and stops in front of the Skunk Faunus. "And of my power. Aren't you little flower?" he asked. He held his hand and slowly began to close into a fist.

The Skunk Faunus began to squirm and whimper in pain. "Flora, what's wrong?" The Rabbit Faunus asked in concern. "My back!" Flora said. "Something is crushing my back!" she cried out. The others turned to Rasco and saw his outstretched and curling hand. 2 and 2 were put together.

"Stop! Let her go!"

"She doesn't deserve this!"

"I'm not hearing anything about Cinder Fall," Darth Rasco said with a growl. "If you all want to see the sun or any family you have, tell me everything about her."

"Okay, okay. We'll talk." The Deer Faunus said. "Just let her go." The Sith shook his head. "That's not how this works Bambi." he said, tsking his tongue. "You tell me what I want and then I'll release her."

"But you'll crush her back!" He protested. "Then hurry up and tell me." He wasn't fast enough. A loud sickening snap was heard before the Skunk Faunus screamed in agony. "I think I'll settle with her ribs next." Rasco said. "Now, you just might have enough time to take her to the hospital six blocks north of here." He began to apply pressure on the Faunus's ribs. "So, I suggest you hurry up."

"Okay, okay. Cinder came to our commander Adam Taurus in the Forever Fall." The Deer said hurriedly. "She wanted to form an alliance with us but Adam said no. A week later, she comes back and slaughtered half of the camp with a fire Semblance before threatening Adam to say yes," he said before sobbing. "That's all we know about her."

"Where is she now?" Rasco pressed. "She said that she'll meet with Adam at the camp in Forever Fall tomorrow." Hmm. Tomorrow huh? Interesting. He stabbed Chaos Bringer into the ground. "How many of you will it take to take your friend to the Hospital?" he asked. "Two of you?"

That sent a wave of dread among them. "Wait, you said you'd let us go." The Deer Faunus protested. Rasco pulled out a katana out of the axe's handle. "I'm altering the deal." He stated. "Pray that I won't alternate it any further." Then he stabbed the Rabbit Faunus in the chest. He turned to the Deer and Wolf. "Tell anyone else and I will kill you both and your families in the most painful way possible." He waved his hand and the chains holding them up unlocked themselves and they dropped to the ground. He didn't bother looking at them as he walked away.

First he would inform his Master and then he would head to the Forever Fall tomorrow and wait.

The next day...

"Man, this place is so dull." Mercury said as he and Emerald as they walked down a street following the mute Neo. Emerald shrugged. "I kinda like it." She said. "Tall buildings, diverse culture," she listed. "And all the people easy to pick pocket." Mercury interrupted.

"That's every city." Emerald said, hands on her hips. Despite not really liking them, Neo agreed on Emerald's statement. Cinder was away and it was long enough for one of the Blue Team to hack into Emerald's Scroll thanks to Atlas Technology and made it seem as if Cinder had called them to meet her. They were in for a surprise. A big one.

Neo was honestly resisting to not hide her eager smirk with her Semblance. The Dark Lord was going to throw them around like rag dolls. She honestly wonder that looked like when it happened to someone.

They walked into a warehouse and Neo led them to a private office. Emerald and Mercury paused and both blinked in shock. In the office was a table filled with a bunch of fancy meals. It honestly made Mercury's mouth water. But that wasn't what made them pause. "What the...?" was all Mercury said.

Khooohh-Pruuhh.

Sitting at the end of the table was a tall man dressed in black armor and robes. He wore a black cape and a black helmet with a skull like mask. His emotionless black lenses unnerved Emerald. They appeared to be analyzing her and Mercury despite their lack of emotion.

"You are Cinder Fall's students?" The man asked in a booming and mechanical voice. "This is peculiar. A thief and an assassin, together? Sounds like a deadly combination." he said.

Mercury shook his fear off or at least tried to. "Who the hell are you?" he asked in a demanding tone. "He's not White Fang." Emerald whispered. After a brief closer examination, Mercury mentally agreed. As far as he knew the White Fang had no members dressed like this man and he didn't seem to be a Faunus of any kind. Then again, he could be hiding his traits under the robes.

"I have some important matters to discuss with your leader." the man said. "For now, I'll settle matters with her students, you." he added before gesturing to the chairs. "Please sit." he said. Neither of them moved from their spot. He seemed to have sighed. "Very well." he turned to the left. "Rex, Fives." he called out.

Just then two Beowolves walked up to the table, surprising the thief and assassin. The two Grimm began eating the two meals on the table. "The fucking hell?" Mercury exclaimed in shock. Emerald stared wide eyed. She had only seen something like this and was convinced that only she was able to do this. Just who is this man?

The man looked at them and back to the Grimm. "I am not going let these meals go to waste." he said simply to the two teenagers. "How did you..." Emerald trailed off.

"The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural." The man in black said to her. "It can make one more powerful than the Maidens themselves. And you two know exactly how powerful a Maiden is don't you?" he asked.

Mercury had enough. He squared his shoulders and clenched his fists as he glared at the stranger warily. He knew of them and Cinder. The only people who knew about them were the White Fang and Roman Torchwick. And he highly doubts that this man was connected to either of them. He glanced at Emerald quickly. She was weary as well. He turned back to the man on the table with Grimm. "How do you know us?" he demanded.

"Your father's reputation is well known here," The man said shocking Mercury more than Emerald. "It was a shame that I never had the pleasure of meeting him. He would have been a valuable ally." he continued. "So, of course, I would know about you Mercury Black. You've seem to gotten deep in Remnant's crime, chaos and other worldly, haven't you?" he asked. "I wonder what Marcus Black would think of his son now?"

(Play "I'm So Sorry" by Imagine Dragons)

Mercury was briefly taken back by that remark before being filled with rising fury. "That was a mistake," he growled as he walked to the man. "Because now, I'm going to kick your teeth out of your mouth." He stopped a few away from the table and entered a battle stance. The two Beowolves growled at him but the man raised his hand. "Such hatred for the man who raised you." he said, seemingly impressed. "You would be an excellent Inquisitor." he commented.

"He trained you too harshly, took your Semblance and you returned the favor," the man continued. "And you believe that you are free, a warrior, a man...And yet, you just traded one cruel master for another." he stated. "You are not truly free from your father. He still controls you, even in death."

That was it. Mercury didn't wait for the man to make the first step like he planned. He jumped and flipped through the air and readied to deliver a death blow and then...

He froze. In the air.

Mercury saw the man holding his right hand up in the air. At first he thought the man was using a Semblance but he saw no Aura glowing around his hand. Before he could ponder this any further, the man flicked his hand and Mercury was slammed into a wall. He groaned in pain before he was slammed into the ceiling then the floor before he was flung out the window of the office.

"Mercury!" Emerald cried out in concern.

"Perhaps you will do better," the man said as he stood up from his chair. He then grabbed a katana that was resting against the table. He simply stood still. Clearly allowing her to make the first move. And Emerald did just that. She pulled out her weapons and pulled the triggers and fired at the man.

He simply raised his hand and the bullets bounced off his open palm. Emerald stared at him shocked. Sure, the Fall Maiden did the same thing but she had seen an Aura shield forming in front of her hand. There was nothing happening here. She saw that clear as day. No Aura was glowing and no shield was formed. The bullets were just bouncing off his palm!

Even when she kept squeezing her triggers, shooting at more increased speeds, the man held one hand up and the bullets still bounced off his palm. Then the man began to walk to Emerald in a causal pace.

Seeing that her guns weren't going to work, Emerald activated the chain whip on the left blade. Then she quickly swung her whip at the man. Only for him to sidestep out of the way and leaned back slightly. His hand then launched forward and grabbed ahold of the chain.

Quicker than she could react to try to pull chain out of the man's grip, he pulled on the chain. Emerald yelped as she was yanked off her feet and pulled to the man. When she was close enough, the man in black punched her in the stomach. She felt the air leave her lungs before she flew back and her back broke through the wall. Luckily her Aura took the hit and she didn't receive too much damage.

When she opened her eyes she came face to face with...a puppy? It sniffed her face before biting her nose. She yelped a bit before she sat up and saw the pup's eyes. They were crimson red. It was...a Beowulf Grimm! She jumped back and kicked the pup in the face. The Grimm pup yelped in pain before it ran away from Emerald, whimpering as it hid behind the man in black's cape.

Mercury was next to where Emerald laid. He sat up and held his head as the green haired thief saw the man kneel down and then held the whimpering Beowulf in his arms. Emerald raised her eyebrow at what she saw before a large Beowulf ran into view and straight to the puppy. It nuzzled the smaller Grimm and licked its face as the Man in black placed the puppy down.

"You have now attacked one of the pups of my pack," he said as he walked to them. "I may provide mercy, her mother will not."

Emerald was briefly confused but she shook it off. As she and Mercury rose back up, the chunks of concrete from the wall Emerald had broke through suddenly shot to the duo like they were shot from a cannon. Emerald and Mercury's eyes widen considerably wide before they ducked, kicked and dodged the rocks. They looked back at the man who held his sword in a battle stance.

The thief and assassin glanced at one another and nodded before they charged at the man. Emerald raising her blades and Mercury rising his right leg to kick the man.

Huh, Neo thought with an amused smirk. So that's what it looks like to be thrown around the Dark Lord. In her hand she held her Scroll recording and sending the video to Roman so he could feel better that these two brats were put in there place. And I am grateful that isn't me or Roman. She then remembered that Darth Rasco was hunting for Cinder. She briefly wondered if she should be worried.

...

...

...Nah. He'll be fine. Cinder, on the other hand won't be when Rasco leaves her for Lord Vader. Neo knows that for sure.

The Forever Fall

Cinder couldn't help the satisfied (and arrogant) smirk form on her lips. Everything was going to plan now. The meeting she had just had with Adam Taurus had gone rather well. Soon the White Fang will join with Roman Torchwick's syndicate. Come to think of it, she might have to visit him soon. Just so he knew who was the master.

Now that she had all her chess pieces, it was time for phase one to begin. She'll need to visit the Headmaster of Haven Academy to ensure they could enter Beacon without rousing suspicion. They would need a fourth teammate though. No matter, Torchwick's second in command will make a valuable asset.

She walked through the red leaved forest in a confident gait. Then all of the sudden she heard something. It was faint but louder than the night wind. It was a whistle. it was eerie and haunting even to her. (1)

Cinder pauses and looks around. "Hello? Is someone out there?" she called out to the darkness. The whistling continued for a moment before it got on Cinder's nerves. "Show yourself." She held her right hand and ignited a small ball of fire. The whistling continued before it stopped.

"My, my." A voice said in the darkness. Cinder paused. She knew that voice. A voice that she had not heard in a long time. A voice that she did not want to hear again.

A middle-aged blonde woman with graying hair and blue eyes stepped out of the shadows. She walked with confidence and her hands behind her back. "Hello, Cinder." The Madam said with a smile.

Cinder's amber eyes widened in shock, confusion and horror. "You..." was all she said.

"Me." the Madam said with a smirk. "No, I-I killed you." Cinder protested. "I-I-I snapped your neck and killed your daughters." She spoke with a stammer.

"You killed me, yes. But you are not free." The Madam said. "You'll never be free because you became worse." Cinder shook her head. "No. No." she said. "I'm free...I am stronger than you! No one else controls me anymore!" she said.

The Madam chuckled darkly. "Are you sure about that?" Her voice changed. It wasn't her voice anymore. It was...a boy's voice? Wait a minute.

Just then, a large battle axe came flying to her. Cinder's eyes widened before she back flipped in order to duck under the flying battle axe. The spinning weapon flew until the axeblade imbedded itself into a tree trunk. When Cinder landed on her feet, she then heard the sound of metal scraping against metal. Turning her head, she saw a katana being pulled out of the axe's handle before it spun much like the axe and flew to her.

Cinder reached behind her and pulled out her blades and deflected the flying sword. The axe pushed its way through the tree and then flew at Cinder. "What?!" She exclaimed as she held the axe back with her two swords. She then gritted her teeth in pain as the katana flew by and scored a hit on her. Her Aura held back most of the pain. She pushed the axe back before deflecting the sword.

Then a spear came flying to her. Cinder jumped out of the way. She felt frustration growing as she sees the spear change direction and fly to her. How many of these flying weapons are there?!

Then that eerie and haunting whistling returned. She sees the katana sheath itself in the axe before it and the spear flew in the direction they came. Two black gloved hands caught the two weapons in mid-air.

A figure in a black cloak walked into view towards Cinder. "Who are you?" She demanded. The figure was not dressed in any standard White Fang uniform. "Are you a Huntsman?"

The figure continued to whistle for a moment longer as they put the spear on his back and spun the axe in his hand. "It doesn't matter who I am, Fall Maiden." he said.

Cinder blinked before gaining a neutral expression. "You know." she simply stated. "Yes. And I have a suspicion on how you got the power." he replied.

Cinder-Then you're working with Ozpin.

"No. I do not serve that old man." the figure said. "My master is more powerful than him." Cinder rose an eyebrow at that. The only one more powerful than Ozpin was the Queen. So, who was the person talking about? "As I said, my identity is not important." he continued. "You have been a thorn in my Master's side therefor my side because of your hunger for power that does not belong to you."

"I disagree," Cinder said, shaking her head. She reached behind her back and grabbed a few arrows. "I'll ask again, who are you? It'll save me some trouble after I kill you."

"Oh no, it's not me you should think about." the figure said before shrugging off his cloak, dropping it to the forest floor. Cinder looked at him in surprise. It was just a...kid. Someone three years younger than Emerald and Mercury.

The boy smirked before he held his axe. "This won't be a fight. It'll be a warm up" he said.

His axe glowed with what looked to be blue Lightning Dust before he swung and a wave of lightning shot towards Cinder.

She jumped up and combined her swords to a bow and fired three arrows at the boy. The boy spun his axe and parried two of the arrows and ducked under the third one. He then charged to Cinder. Cinder blocked most of the kid's attacks before the kid suddenly punched her in the face more than five times faster than she could react before Spartan kicking her in the chest. And then he backhanded her in the face and she stumbled back.

Mercury flew back as the man in black backhanded him into the wall. He felt his Aura shattered as he slumped to the ground. "You fought cunningly and innovatively." the man stated, sounding a bit impressed. "Perhaps your father had taught you well." he remarked. As Mercury lost conscious he heard the man said. "But not enough."

The man turned to look for Emerald. "Perhaps you will do better." he said. Emerald stood still before another Emerald appeared next to her. Then another, then another. Six, seven, eight before they encircled the man completely.

Emerald hid behind some crates smiling in sadistic satisfaction as the man looked around in fear of the number of enemies he now faced. The clones raised their weapons in unison as Emerald aimed her guns.

"You have an impressive Semblance." The man commented as the clones charged forward. "It manipulates what people see and hides you from sight." Just before Emerald pulled the triggers again, the man's hand shot up in her direction. "But it does not hide your thoughts." he said as he turned to her.

Emerald stared at him in shock. No one, not even Cinder or her were immune to her illusions. What the hell was this person?! Recovering quickly the thief pulled triggers and fired multiple times.

The man raised and swung his katana and began to deflect the bullets. Emerald once again stared at the man in shock. He was doing something so causal and calm while most Huntsmen and Huntresses move faster than he was. And yet he was swing his sword like he was swatting flies.

Then the bullets began to fly back to her. She raised her arms as she was hit by her own bullets. She was knocked down as her Aura continued to dwindle with every hit. She slumped against a crate when the bullets stopped. She opens her crimson eyes and saw the man walking to her. His emotionless and lifeless lenses staring directly at her as if staring into her soul. Then she was lifted in the air before being slammed into a crate. She was lifted again and slammed into another crate before slammed against the floor and felt her Aura shatter.

She reached for her weapons but stopped. Emerald couldn't beat this...this monster by herself or with Mercury. Cinder! Yes Cinder could beat this monster.

Before the black monster got closer, she used her chain-whip like a grappling hook and threw the crate behind her to the monster in front of her before she yanked herself up above him and ran for Mercury. They may not have gotten along but she wasn't going to leave him behind with this monster.

Suddenly she felt something wrap around her torso. Her eyes widened before she was slammed against the wall. She looked at what was pinning her. It was a large black two-fingered hand with white claws and small white armor plates. She then saw who or what the hand belonged to. It belonged to a Nuckelavee Grimm.

Not bothering to wonder how an Ancient Grimm was in the city, Emerald struggled and kicked, trying to get free of the Horsman's grip before she saw the monster walk beside the Ancient Grimm and briefly patted the horse on the neck.

Emerald watched with growing dread and horror as the man walked to her. "There is no escape." he said coldly. "You cannot escape and you will only live as long you have purpose."

Never before had Emerald felt trapped like this. Death never felt this close to her. Unlike the fight against the Fall Maiden, Cinder wasn't going to save her this time. And this wasn't a Maiden. He...he was some monstrosity. The Grim Reaper that had hunted them down and beat them to a pulp.

"W-What do you want?" she whimpered when the monster was right in front of her. Fear, despair, terror and pain...Was this how the Fall Maiden felt?

"When the time is right," he said in his cold, mechanical and booming voice. Emerald could see her face reflecting in the black lenses. "I want you to scream. For your master." he said before he raised his fist and punched her.

"For now," Darth Vader said. "Show me what you know." he held his hand in front of Emerald's face.

"A beautiful necklace for a beautiful lady."

"Get her!"

"How did she do that?"

Vader stood in an alleyway. He turned to left and saw Cinder Fall. She had shorter hair than what Roman had seen. "How did yo do that?" she asked. The Sith turned to the right and saw a younger Emerald. Her hair was shorter than it was presently and she was not wearing a white coat. She reached for weapons.

"Stop." Cinder commanded before gesturing to outside of the alleyway. "Unless you want them to find you." Emerald froze and moved her hands away from her weapons.

Cinder continued to question Emerald as Darth Vader 'walked away' from the memory.

"Follow me and you will never go hungry again."

"Thank you."

Cinder ducked her head as the boy's fist punched the tree trunk behind her. Bark and splinters flew before the boy punched Cinder in the face numerous times at super speeds before he gave her a uppercut to the jaw. Despite his age, the boy was better than most Huntsmen and Huntresses Cinder had encountered.

Then blue lightning fired from his hands and struck her in the chest.

Cinder screamed in pain as lightning was coursing through her body before her back broke through a tree trunk. She rolled on the ground and collided with a tree. Her Aura flickered as she tried to get up before she was kicked in the stomach. "So much arrogance." The boy said in a disappointed tone before kicking her in the stomach again. "Thinking you can take whatever you want," he grabs Cinder's hair and pulled her head up.

Then he slammed her face into the tree trunk. "Didn't the Madam?"

SLAM!

"Or Rhodes?"

SLAM!

"Ever teach you?"

SLAM!

"To look!"

SLAM!

"Before you leap?!"

SLAM!

He held Cinder close and whispered, "Think before you act?" he asked mockingly.

SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! SLAM!

That was it, Cinder's Aura finally shattered. The boy dropped her to ground. Cinder gritted her teeth and growled as she struggled to get up. She had to power of a Maiden, damn it! And yet, she lost to a boy almost six fucking years her junior of all people!

Before she could get up, the boy fired more lightning to her. She screamed and writhed in pain. It only lasted thirty seconds but for Cinder, it felt like an eternity. "You're no Maiden." He said. "You're just an arrogant little girl.

"Be seeing you Cinder." Darth Rasco said before he walked away from the Maiden.

Pain racked through Cinder's bones and flesh-especially here face. Yet, her Aura wouldn't nullify it nor heal her injuries for a while.

She beaten, powerless and helpless. And she absolutely hated it.

She hated being in this state of being vulnerable. She swore to never again to be weak or helpless again and yet here she was.

She weakly lifted her head and looked for that kid. The only thing she saw was the damage their fight had caused. Burning trees and earth from her fire sprinkled with glass daggers and some trees that were sliced by the boy's axe.

He was gone. But why?

"This won't be a fight. It'll be a warm up."

He was holding back? Why? She searched her memory for answers.

"Oh no. It's not me you should be thinking about."

"...My master is more powerful than that old man."

That was it. She concluded. The boy was just studying her skills so his master. If the boy was just holding back while fighting her, she knew she had no chance against his master.

She needs to get Emerald and Mercury and go undercover. They had to hide. And...report to her what has happened. She never liked admitting defeat to anyone. But she also didn't want to lie to her knowing that there will be painful consequences.

One hour later...

Cinder walked at a hurried pace as she held her Scroll up to her. She had called Emerald and Mercury three times each and neither of them had answered. She began to feel tense and a bit anxious. Emerald and Mercury had important roles in her plans and now that was being threatened to fall apart.

Suddenly Cinder heard a scream. A blood curdling, agonized scream close by. It made her freeze. That voice..."Emerald." she said in realization.

Come Fall Maiden. Come, your student may not survive at this rate.

A mechanical, booming and cold voice said within Cinder's mind. Her amber eyes widened. She ran in the direction of the scream. The warehouse Cinder had left Emerald and Mercury in came into view before another scream of pain was heard.

Run, Cinder! Run!

The voice said mockingly.

Cinder kicked the door open and walked in with her swords in her hands before she merged it into one sword. She looked around as she heard Emerald whimpering in pain. The green haired thief was close.

She walked around a corner and came to a sight that took her back.

(The Imperial March)

Khooohh-Pruuhh.

Emerald and Mercury were being hung in the air by chains and ropes. Emerald was covered in scars and...animal bite marks but Cinder heard some sort of breathing as she walked closer. "Your students performed...disappointingly." A cold voice said above her over the sound of mechanical breathing. Cinder looked up and saw a man in a mask standing on a catwalk above Emerald and Mercury. "And poor students reflect on their teacher poorly." He stepped onto a platform that lowered him to the floor.

Cinder snarled before she raised her hand and blasted the man with a stream of fire before he could react. It didn't matter who he was, Cinder was going to kill him here and now. The stream consumed the man's torso and enveloped him completely. Cinder smiled, unrelenting until he was nothing more than ashes. Whoever he was, wherever he came from, it didn't matter. He was dead now.

She lowered her hand and, "WHAT?!" She shouted in disbelief and shock. The flames died down and Cinder saw that the man was not burned. Not even his cape. He looked down at the scorched ground on the sides of him. "Impressive," he said as he turned back to her. "Cinder."

Cinder stared at him as he began to walk forward to her. She raised her hands again fired at him again. This time, the raging stream was double in size. It hit him point blank like before and consumed him. But slowly she saw that the stream was becoming shorter in length. Then she saw his mask through the flames. The man was still walking toward her. But how? Her flames should have burned his Aura away by now! This should be impossible damn it!

Suddenly Cinder was pushed off her feet by some invisible force. She rolled on the concrete before she caught herself and glared at him. Just like before, the man was not burned in the slightest. He pulled something from his belt.

KKKZZZHHHTTT!

A crimson red glowing sword ignited in his hand. Cinder briefly stared at the blade in awe. She shook her head as she stood up and he assumed a stance, blade gripped with one black gloved hand. She raised her own sword ready. She spilt her sword before she blasted forward with a snarl.

She leapt up and their swords clashed. He blocked her attack and their faces were inches away. Her scowling face met his emotionless mask. She pulled back and her blades became a blur.

The man blocked every one of her attacks, while moving as if he was in water and using one hand. She gritted her teeth in frustration before she jumped back to dodge the man's glowing sword. She then saw tall machinery next to the man on the right. An idea formed in her head.

She raised her hands again and fired at the machinery. The metal began to glow orange and red from the intense heat. Cinder looked to the man with a grin as he stopped and looked to where she was firing. After thirty seconds, Cinder used her bow and fired two arrows. The two hit the spot next to the man's shoulder.

A wrathful, ominous wail echoed through the warehouse as black, red and yellow magic swirled around the arrows before they exploded. The man raised a hand to protect him from the fire.

The familiar explosion seemed to be enough to wake Emerald and Mercury. They both let out groans of pain as they raised their heads up. They both looked up surprised when they saw Cinder. Emerald looked at her with desperate hope blooming in her crimson eyes.

The machinery began to groan before it began to lean toward where the man stood.

Mercury smiled weakly and said, "Timber." And then the machinery fell down at breakneck speeds. The man didn't run and held a hand up as if in fear before he was crushed by the metal as it landed with a metallic thud.

Cinder smirked victoriously. The boy clearly held his so-called master with blind loyalty. "Check and mate." she said as she walked to the duo.

Before she say anything they both heard the sound of the metal moving. Cinder turned around and saw the burning machinery rising off the ground. Then she saw him. His hand was still raised and his body was not damaged in anyway.

"No fucking way..." Mercury said in shock and a small trace of awe.

Cinder fumed. The flame in her eye grew with her fury, frustration and anger. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DIE?!" She shouted before she fire numerous fireballs at him.

The man flicked his hand and the fireballs flew past him. Cinder gritted her teeth before she saw all the embers in the air because of the fire. She smirked and waved her hands in the air. She clenched a fist and all the particles formed numerous glass dagger-like spikes. With a shout, Cinder launched all the spikes to the man.

The man raised his hand and clenched it into a fist. The daggers stopped in mid-air before being snapped in half. Cinder's eyes widened before she glared and charged at the man with her swords. He raised his his sword ready for her.

She swung her left and their blades met.

And the red one sliced through hers like butter. She stared at the glowing hilt in her hand before she desperately blocked the blade. Luckily her sword was holding via her Aura being channeled to it but Cinder could see the blade beginning to glow from the heat. Thinking fast, she allowed her blade to be sliced to be a shorter sword.

Like a viper, she ducked under the man's defenses and stabbed him in the side. For once he actually seemed to keel over and shout in pain. Cinder briefly smiled, pleased to have finally scored a hit before he recovered quickly and swung his sword at her face.

She screamed in pain as she fell back. He strike again and her Aura shattered before she sees his hand in front of her before she shot into the air and froze.

"For a Maiden, you are a disappointment." The man said in a emotionless tone. Cinder glared and gritted her teeth. "Then again, the last Spring Maiden and the current are exactly an improvement." he commented.

He knows the Spring Maiden? Before she even opened her mouth Cinder was slammed into the ground before being lifted back up and slammed down again. This repeated five more times before she was left on the floor. She was then forcibly lifted to her knees as the man held his hand in front of her face.

"Show me Cinder Fall," he said in a cold demanding tone. "Show me everything."

Then Cinder's mind was assaulted. Like the burning talons of a phoenix were stabbing into her skull one by one. All Cinder could do was scream.

"Oof, been there lady." Roman Torchwick said as he and the rest of the Inner Circle watched from the catwalks with Neo still recording the whole thing. He may not like Cinder but after experiencing the Dark Lord's mind reading technique, he can't say he would be comfortable seeing someone else experience the same pain.

Robyn Hill did look at Cinder with pity but reminded herself that Cinder was planning to attack a school of children. Huntsmen and Huntresses in training sure, but children all the same.

Raven did look a bit conflicted. It was another Maiden. Maybe a chance to help overthrow Lord Vader if she gets a chance to talk. Then she sees the glass daggers Cinder used earlier began to combine into one large spear behind Vader. Raven crossed her arms and remained silent. Galen did the same.

Robyn however didn't. "Lord Vader, look out!"

At first it looked like the Dark Lord didn't listen, that he was too deep in reading Cinder's mind. The spear flew to him faster than a Nevermore and...

Darth Vader ducked under the spear and it impaled Cinder in the stomach.

"Cinder!" Emerald screamed while Mercury stared at the scene in shocked silence.

Cinder dropped to the ground, coughing blood.

"Lacking restraint and no control over your hunger for power," Vader said as he grabbed her hair. "You're no Maiden. You're just an orphan begging for food."

KKKZZZHHHTTT!

Lord Vader's lightsaber pierced through Cinder's chest. And all of the Inner Circle even Neo looked down with pity.

Darth Vader looked at the Maiden wanna be as she dropped to the floor impassively. The Sith heard Emerald sobbing behind him before he turned to her. "Cinder Fall did not care for you, only the power of the Maidens." He said as he walked to her. "I have one offer Ms. Sustrai and Mr. Black. Serve my empire or you can return to the streets and your father." he said.

"How about I extend an offer to you instead?"

Lord Vader paused while the duo in front of him looked to who the voice belonged to behind him. He calmly turned around and saw who it was.

"Greetings Salem."

Whew! That was a long one.

Whatcha think? Huh? Huh?

Review and tell me what you think.

(1) Also the whistle Darth Rasco did is suppose to sound like Nomura's whistle from Trollhunters. If you seen that Netflix show, then you know what I'm talking about.

Sorry if the fights aren't that much but you should get a good picture of how it goes. I mean it's freaking Darth Vader.

"Merry Christmas, you filthy animal! And a Happy New Year."

Stay safe, may the Force be with you.
