Author's Note: JouKai + proposal for Alecto
Jounouchi lowered his gaze out the window of the little chopper.
"I thought we were just getting a view of the skyline?" Jounouchi questioned as he noticed Kaiba's pilot veering a bit more towards the ocean.
"I think there's something you'll want to see first," Kaiba said with a rare smile. And Jounouchi now knew better than to argue with him during moments like that.
Up ahead, a fireworks display began and Jounouchi was soon entranced, forgetting any worry about where they were heading.
"What's the occasion you think?" Jounouchi asked.
And Kaiba huffed a laugh. "Maybe some idiots in love."
Soon, text began to appear. 'Jounouchi,'
"What?" Jounouchi looked on.
'Will you marry me?'
At which point Kaiba turned to rest his hand on Jounouchi's, who looked gob-smacked.
"Kaiba, I-" Jounouchi began, then tears welled in his eyes.
He swiped at them before turning to face the brunette who wore an expectant smile.
"Some idiot is definitely in love," he said with a laugh. "Because I think I'd like to marry you too."
