And here is another chapter.

lorhobo09 and The Court of Talons-Thanks for your support.

Haxorous knight-After careful examination, I have chosen the former ;) As for how they meet, you're going to have to read to find out.

Guest-Uh... Sure. I'll do that when I have time.

Skyslasher-Yep.

Chapter 9-Expanding.

"How did this happen?" General Ironwood demanded from his Scroll, upon seeing Amber standing next to Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch.

"I can't believe I'm saying this," Qrow Branwen said, taking a swing from his flask. "But I agree."

"We don't have much of an explanation," Glynda said. "But we have a theory that her power returned."

"Because her assailant who stole it," Ozpin spoke up. "Might be dead. The Maiden power wouldn't leave without the Maiden being dead."

Qrow shrugged. "Well, that's one problem taken care of, then."

Glynda-But it does create one more problem: We don't know who killed the false Maiden.

Ozpin turned to Amber. "It's possible that woman's memories could be a part of you." he said softly. "Please, provide us some answers." Amber looked hesitant before she rubbed her head.

"There was this man, in a black mask." Amber said slowly. "And a boy in a black cloak."

The three teachers looked thoughtful before Qrow drawled, "Well, that narrows it down very much."

1 week later...

Neo, Emerald and Mercury had an easy way to get into Beacon Academy. Darth Rasco on the other hand, didn't. Despite his skills, the Sith Apprentice was nearly three years younger than Emerald and Mercury who were two years younger than Neo Politan.

Rasco couldn't exactly lie about his age. He knew that his looks would not sell the lie. Emerald and Neo's Semblances were formidable, but the Apprentice knew that they couldn't use their Semblances on him forever.

He decided to meditate on this.

He sat in his room, eyes closed, and legs crossed. How could he go about this? Threaten a teacher? No, that would expose his power and that lead to the empire being exposed. Bribery? Nah, that wouldn't work on the teachers.

Then all of the sudden, Rasco's head ached. He gritted his teeth as he held his head in his hand.

"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?"

Was that Roman? In a Force vision?

Suddenly Darth Rasco sees a window shatter as a thug fly through it as he was being kicked by a girl in a red hood and cape. Rasco tilted his head as he looks at her. she holds up a large red and black scythe. Rasco looked up and saw a sign that said, "Dust till Dawn." He looks through the broken window and sees Roman Torchwick and a handful of thugs.

"Okay~" Roman drawled out. "Get them." he ordered his men. Them?

The Sith apprentice sees that he is standing next to the girl, Chaos Bringer in hand. "Two each?" The girl asked him.

Rasco gasped as he fell forward. He panted and rubbed his head. It slowly began to dawn on him what that Force vision meant. "Interesting." He muttered. "Very interesting."

The next day, Forever Fall Forest...

"So, let me get this straight," Adam Taurus said as he paced back and forth in his command tent. "You think that because you care of Cinder Fall, I would show you the headquarters of the High Leader and even go as far to bring you to her throne room." The Bull Faunus glared at the man's black lenses.

Khooohh-Pruuhh.

"Cinder Fall was causing us both grievances." The human replied, standing near the tent entrance, his mechanical breathing not stopping. "I did us both a favor. I already know where the High Leader resides General Taurus." Adam stopped when he said. "However, I wish to walk in peacefully without anyone questioning my presence nor attacking my person."

Adam reached for his sword, but the man held a hand up. "Cinder Fall is not working alone, General Taurus." He spoke.

Adam-I met her two brats already.

"No, Cinder is just a pawn. She is working for someone else. Someone worse." The man said. "We must prepare for retaliation."

That statement made Adam pause in pulling his sword. Working for Cinder Fall was an experience he hated that rivaled his hatred for the humans. But the man spoke the truth about retaliation. If the people Cinder was working for were worse than her, than Adam chose the smart option. "Very well." He said after a moment of silence. "I'll take you to the High Leader. But if you step out of line, I will be the one to cut your head off."

"Do not try to intimidate me boy." The man said simply as they both walked out of the tent. Adam turned to his lieutenant. "Are the men all ready to move?" He asked. The Bear Faunus nodded. "Good," replied Adam.

With that said, the Dark Lord and the White Fang left the Forever Fall Forest.

It had occurred to Lord Rasco that he had never taken time to admire Vale's beauty. Especially at night. While the Kingdom had no technological achievements like those of Atlas, but Vale had an air of tranquility.

The Sith Apprentice shook his head. Focus on the task at hand. He mentally told himself. He glanced up the street and saw the Dust shop "Dust till Dawn." He reached for his Scroll and sent a message to Roman before he continued walking.

He entered the Dust shop and briefly greeted the old shopkeeper. He walks through the shop to survey the area before he stopped at a magazine section. He reached for a random magazine and started reading. He glanced at the person standing next to him. A girl. He could faintly hear some rock music from her direction under her red hood. He rose an eyebrow curiously. He sensed innocence. A lot of it, if that was possible. And he felt some radiance of the Light Side. Peculiar, he thought. Yet, intriguing.

He reached for his Scroll again and messaged Torchwick about a possible Huntress-in training if the Dust rounds on her belt, were any indication.

Checkmate, Torchwick.

He pocketed his Scroll and continued reading. He rose an eyebrow upon seeing an article about Weiss Schnee. The SDC heiress was going to be attending Beacon Academy. Hm. Noted.

He faintly heard the door opening and closing and sensed a familiar presence. Let the games begin.

"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?" Roman Torchwick asked the old shopkeeper before one of the thugs held up a Dust gun. The elder man held up his hands in surrender.

"Please, just take the Lien and leave," he said, pleadingly. Roman shushed him. "Easy old timer." he said. "No need to be scared." He turned to his men. "Grab the Dust too."

The grunts split to grab the Lien and the Dust on the shelves. One of them held an open case. "Crystals. Burnt and uncut." He said in a calm yet demanding tone, indicating that he has done this before. As the old man puts the Dust crystals in the case, one grunt sees to kids. One a boy dressed in a green overcoat with black hair and the other with a red cloak and hood. He pulled out a Dust sword. "Alright kids, put your hands in the air." He demanded.

The boy looked to the left before he turned to the grunt holding a sword. He calmly placed the magazine in his hands back on the stand and held his hands up. The grunt turned back to the second kid who didn't comply. "Hey, didn't you hear? I said hands in the air!"

The boy in green reached over and patted the person causing the hood to fall off their head. It was revealed to be a girl with silver eyes. "Huh?" she looked at the boy confused who tilted his head at the grunt. She turns and sees the man pointing at his ear, a sign to take off the headphones. She did as she was told. "Yes?" she asked.

"I said, put your hands in the air!" The man demanded and added, "Now!"

"Are you robbing me?" The girl asked in a tone similar to are you kidding me? The boy glanced at her, seemingly impressed. "Yes!" The grunt said now getting annoyed.

"Oh..." she said, silver eyes narrowing. "Want me to take him?" The boy in green asked the girl. "Nah, I got this," she said before she kicked the man, and he flew to the wall next to Roman. The thief merely nodded to the next henchman who ran up to the two teenagers. "Freeze!" He shouted, holding a gun.

"You kick and I'll punch." The boy said to the girl who nodded as the thug looked a bit confused at the exchange.

CRASH!

Both teens and the grunt flew through the window. Torchwick and the remaining grunts looked through the broken glass. The boy pulled out a large battle axe while a large red and black scythe folded out in the girl's hand. She smiles before she spun her scythe 360 degrees and slammed it down. The boy cleared his throat at her. When she glanced at him his eyes flicked to her tape player. The music was still blaring through the headphones. "Oh! Sorry." she said sheepishly as she quickly turned the tape player off.

Roman blinked and slowly said, "Okay." He turned to his henchmen. "Get them."

As the men run through the door, Oscar turned to the girl. "You take two, I'll take two." he said, twirling Chaos Bringer.

"Two each?" Ruby asked, grinning. "Sounds good."

A green analog clock glyph appeared under Oscar's feet before he was launched forward like a cannon, and he swung Chaos Bringer into the face of one grunt. Ruby slammed her scythe down and spun around before kicking a man in the face, breaking his red glasses.

One of the last thugs pulled out a machine gun and tried to fire at the two teens. Ruby became a blur as she dodged the Dust rounds before, they suddenly froze upon hitting a green analog clock glyph in the air in front of Ruby before she ran around the glyph and used the back of her scythe as a baseball bat and batted the thug away and Oscar threw Chaos Bringer at the last thug knocking him to Roman's feet.

"Just be glad he didn't use his laser sword," Roman whispered to the thug before raising his volume to let the teens hear. "Well, Red light, Green light." Ruby tilted her head while Oscar pulled his axe back to him in green Aura glow and looked at him a bit amused. "I think it's safe to say it's been an eventful evening." The master thief drops his cigar on the ground, smashed it with his cane before aiming it at the teens. "As much I would love to stick around," A small crosshairs folded out at the bottom of the cane.

"I'm afraid this is where we part ways." Roman said before firing a large Fire Dust round. Ruby fired Crescent Rose downwards, propelling herself up while Oscar jumped to the side to dodge the explosion afterwards.

Ruby landed on the pavement and glanced at the boy. "Are you okay?" she asked as he rose up and brushed himself. "I'm fine, Red." He said before looking at her with a teasing glint. Ruby blinked at the boy's look in his eyes before she remembered the criminal. The boy seemed to have remembered as well as they both looked for the master thief.

Ruby looked behind her and saw that Torchwick was climbing up a ladder on another building.

Oscar turned and saw the thief and looked at him with an impressed expression. Ruby turned to the old shopkeeper who poked his head out the doorway. "You okay if we go after him?" she asked. He nodded his head. Oscar quickly handed the elder a handful of Lien. "Sorry about your window." he said as he and Ruby ran after Roman.

Ruby used her speed and Crescent Rose to run up the wall of the building.

Oscar had Chaos Bringer's axe blade launch upward, attached to a chain and used it like a grappling hook.

Ruby-Hey!

Oscar-Stop right there!

Roman did stop and muttered, "Persistent little brat." Despite knowing that he wasn't talking about him, Oscar felt a bit angry that he insulted the girl with silver eyes. Just then a Bullhead flew up from the alleyway in front of Roman. Both Oscar and Ruby shielded their eyes from the bright lights on the Bullhead. When the light dimmed, the two saw Roman standing inside the Bullhead.

"End of the line kids!" He said holding a Fire Dust crystal. Then he tossed it at Ruby's feet and fired at the crystal. A large fiery explosion erupted on the rooftop.

Roman tensed, fearing that he might have killed the Dark Lord's Apprentice and therefore himself. Then he mentally sighed in relief when he saw that the kid wasn't harmed in the explosion. Then again, he should have known that he would be more stubborn to kill.

Wait a minute, He thought as he saw someone else standing next to the Apprentice.

Oscar and Ruby looked to the third person in both awe and surprise. It was a blonde woman with a white blouse, a black skirt with a black and purple tattered cape with a... riding crop in hand? Wait what? Oscar thought utterly confused. Out of all the weapons he had seen, he had never seen that before.

The blonde woman pushed her glasses up before swinging her crop at the Bullhead shooting multiple purple beams at the ship.

Roman almost lost his balance as he walked to the cockpit. "We got a Huntress." He said to Raven and Neo. "Time for phase 2."

Raven stood up. "Take the stick." She said to Roman as she walked out the cockpit. She placed on a black Grimm mask similar to her own before stepped into Glynda Goodwitch's view.

Glynda narrowed her green eyes. The woman was dressed in black, yet she looked vaguely familiar. She didn't have much time to ponder this as the woman pulled a Dust sword and shot a wave fire at Glynda. The blonde woman deflected the fire with her crop. The woman repeated the attack multiple times before Ruby and Oscar decided to act.

Ruby had her scythe morph into its sniper mode and Oscar seemed to have charged his axe with Lightning Dust and both of them fired at the woman in black. But the woman seemed to have blocked Ruby's Dust rounds and the Lightning with her bare hand before she waved her hand and suddenly the ground beneath both the teens' and Glynda's feet exploded. The woman jumped out of the blast zone and Oscar tackled Ruby to the side, causing her to yelp in surprise before the ground exploded.

Oscar looked up at the Bullhead to see it retreating. "Damn it, they got away," he said in frustration before he looked down at Ruby. "I got to say, you have impressive skills, Red." He said as he stood up and held his hand out to her.

"Oh! Thank you." She said as she took his hand. "Uh, can I see your weapon?" she asked. Oscar rose an eyebrow. "Is that what the secret word is around here in Vale?" he asked with a smirk.

Ruby blinked in confusion before realization dawned on her. "Ah! No, that's not what I meant!" she said, waving a hand with a small blush. "What I meant was your axe," she stammered.

"Ahem." Glynda cleared her throat, glaring at the two teens.

"Oh, you're a Huntress!" Ruby exclaimed before looking at her in awe and starry eyes. "Can I have your autograph?" she asked in a fangirl voice.

"She killed half of your men?" Sienna Kahn asked Adam who was kneeling down in front of her. "Yes, High Leader. She had a very powerful Semblance, and I had no choice but comply with her demands." The Bull Faunus said grudgingly. The Tiger Faunus scowled in anger. A lone human had managed to massacre half of her fellow Faunus

"So, I take it you took her down eventually?" The High Leader asked after calming down. "Otherwise, you wouldn't be here."

"No, someone else did." Adam said, shaking his head. "And he has asked to speak with you regarding Cinder Fall."

Sienna rose an eyebrow at that. She rubbed her chin in thought. "Very well, we can schedule a meeting at a different location." she said after a moment.

"About that," Adam said slowly before the doors opened behind the Bull Faunus.

Khooohh-Pruuhh

A man with a black mask, matching cape and robes with gloves and boots walked in. Sienna saw that he also had some sort of control panel on his chest. He's not one of us, Sienna thought as she stood up. The man walked forward until he was standing in front of Adam. He bows his head at her.

"Greetings High Leader." he said a booming voice. "I am Darth Vader. And I wish to form an alliance with your organization and my syndicate."

Sienna rose her eyebrow. Of all things she expected, she didn't expect this. "And why should I agree with that?" she asked with narrowed eyes. Darth Vader was silent for a moment. "What... is your favorite fairy tale?" He asked after a moment.

"Oscar Pine?" The said boy looked up at the man who walked in with the Huntress from earlier. "Yes, that's me." Oscar said with a nod. The man tilted his head to the Scroll in the woman's arm. "Where did you learn to do this?" He asked.

Oscar glanced at the Scroll and saw that it was surveillance footage of the robbery he and the girl had stopped. He looked back at the man in a dark green coat. He didn't know why, but he had some sort of feeling with the man. "I was taught by my father." He spoke.

"Really?" The man asked with a raised eyebrow. "There aren't many teens taught by their parents. They attend Combat schools these days." Oscar nodded his head. "I lived out in the farmlands of Mistral; I couldn't apply to a Combat school. My father taught me how to fight after he began taking missions that took across the continent."

"So, what brings a young man like you here to Vale then?" The man asked. "I thought I could apply to Signal." Oscar answered. "I have put some thought of becoming a Huntsman."

The man tilted his head. "You want to slay monsters?" he asked. Oscar narrowed his eyes slightly. He could sense that the man was trying to look for information about him. "Yes." He said after a moment. "My father has taught me what he could, and I have thought of putting it to good use by slaying Grimm. And better than being a Huntsman? I mean my father told me that the monsters in the woods will win more every day because there aren't enough people who help." he said. "So, I'm not going to be the kind of people that stand by when there's a monster in the room." he added. "... I did that once. I will not fail again."

The man and the Huntress give some small sympathy. "Do you know who I am?" He asked. Oscar chuckled a bit. "I would have grown up living under a rock to not know your name, Professor Ozpin." He said with a smile.

Ozpin chuckled in response. "Hello." He said with a smile. "Would you like to come to my school?" He asked. Oscar pretended to have a thoughtful expression. "Eventually, yeah." He nodded. "I was planning on it after Signal." Ozpin glanced at the woman next to him who rolled her eyes in response. "I could let you in now, after Initiation." He said turning back to Oscar. Oscar looked at him surprised before he smiled. He then stood up and bowed his head. "Thank you, Headmaster." He said with closed eyes. A Animan gesture.

Ozpin chuckled once again and returned the bow. "See you at Beacon Mr. Pine."

So, what do you think of that? It may have felt unnecessary to do this for Darth Rasco but remember, his cannon age is to be a year or so younger than Ruby. So, he would have a difficult time applying to Beacon along with Emerald, Mercury and Neo.

Now the next chapters will focus mainly on the Sith Apprentice in Beacon. Though there will be some Vader scenes with the White Fang and his Inner Circle.

Review and tell me what you think.

Since I'm now completely creating a new timeline, the next chapter will take a while to write.

So, see you guys later.

Stay safe. May the Force be with you.

GojiraFan455516 out.

Peace.
