I could not stop thinking about this chapter.

I just had to get it out!

Plus, this is the chapter where I get to introduce a new upcoming major character! Yay!

Anyways, now it's Star's turn to have nightmares! Mwahahahahahahahahahahaaa!

I don't own anything except for my oc.

...

Mewni, Butterfly castle...

It's currently night time in the land of Mewni.

Right around the time that, Marco, is sleeping.

In Star's room, the princess of the Butterfly kingdom is currently sound asleep upon her bed. Earlier, she had a little trouble trying to fall asleep due to what's been happening the past couple of days.

So far, no one else has died to a vampire attack. Not yet at least. So far, no one's gone missing either. At least, not to her knowledge.

But before she went to sleep, Star made sure to board up her windows, and keep her door locked and secured while she slept.

The safety precautions were able to put her at ease... somewhat. But just enough to where she can get some sleep.

As she slept, her peaceful face soon turned into distress as she whimpered, and stirred in her sleep.

...

In Star's dream...

Star can be seen running through the forest of certain death, a look of terror written on her face.

Now what could she be running from?

The answer is simple... Eclipsa.

Star doesn't know how she got out here. All she knows is that she's out here with a vampire queen. Now she's running for her life.

She stopped to catch her breath by a tree once she could no longer hear the sound of the screeches, and rapid flapping wings of the bats that were following her.

She rummaged through her star shaped purse for her wand but she couldn't find it, and could only find her interdimensional scissors.

She'd use her magic, but she hadn't learned how to use it without her wand just yet. The only time she did that was when she melted Toffee.

Star grabbed her scissors, but immediately froze in fear when she heard someone speak.

"Aw, leaving already are we?" Eclipsa chuckled.

"I barely even started having my fun." She continued, but sounded closer.

Star wasted no time, and quickly opened a portal, then ran through.

Once she exited the portal, Star whipped back around, and closed the portal. Once it was closed, she looked at her surroundings to see that she's on earth. More specifically, by the park on the sidewalk. Star then rested her hands on her knees to take a breather.

The moment didn't last long however.

*Whistle*

Star stood up straight, and looked in the direction the whistle came from... but wished she hadn't.

Standing on the other side of the street on the sidewalk, is Eclipsa.

Eclipsa merely gave her a small smile with a half-lidded gaze, her purple eyes glowing red as she waved with her hand. Her grin increased, and she showed Star her pearly white teeth, her fangs being most notable.

"Hello... dearie." Eclipsa spoke, venom laced her tone at the end.

Eclipsa screeched like a bat out of hell, and launched herself at Star.

Star screamed, and took off running before Eclipsa could get her hands on her.

Eclipsa growled at the fleeting form of the Butterfly princess, and gave chase by flying in the air without turning into a bat swarm, leaving a trail of purple mist in the air.

"You can run, but you can't hide, pretender!" Eclipsa called out after her.

Star continued to run down the street, her heart pounding, legs, and lungs burning. But she kept pushing onward, because she could die at the hands of the vampire queen if she does.

Speaking of which, Star could hear the mad queen laughing maniacally as she began to catch up with her. Star then felt a tap on her shoulder. She glanced to the side to see Eclipsa... IS RIGHT NEXT TO HER ON HER LEFT!!!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Star screamed.

"I'd save my breath if I were you, dear. You still have a whole lot of running left to do before I get bored." Eclipsa teased.

"Leave me alone!" Star exclaimed fearfully.

"You're not one to give orders, now are you?!" Eclipsa exclaimed with a manic sharp toothed grin.

"Now be a good girl, AND JUST LET IT HAPPEN!" Eclipsa exclaimed like a crazed maniac.

She then reached for Star, but Star slid on the ground in a skid before reaching the sidewalk corner, and taking off down another street on her right.

Eclipsa stopped momentarily to see that, Star, had begun running down another street. She smirked, then disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Star did the one thing you shouldn't do when running away. She looked back. But when she did, she saw that Eclipsa wasn't there anymore. Despite that, Star kept running. She ran until she found an auto-body shop. It may be closed, be maybe she can hide here temporarily so she can catch her breath.

She ran to find the back door. When she did, she kicked it open with all her might, and ran inside. She slammed the door shut, but needed something to keep it closed since the lock is now useless.

Star managed to find a large, and heavy full body tool box on wheels. She placed it in front of the door, and locked the wheels in place.

Star walked back, and away from the door. She looked around to see if there's anywhere here for her to hide.

"Do you really think that can stop me from getting inside?" Eclipsa's voice echoed within the room.

Star began to freak out.

"What do you want with me?! What did I ever do to you?!" Star demanded fearfully, trying her best not to hyperventilate.

"I'd say it's nothing personal, but that would be a lie. You, and your family are nothing but pretenders on a throne that rightfully belongs to me." Eclipsa said.

"What are you talking about?" Star asked.

"Figure it out yourself, insect. You all think I'm related to you, when in reality I'm NOT! That's the only hint you're ever going to get." Eclipsa said coldly.

"Now let's talk about, Marco, shall we?" Eclipsa said teasingly.

"Don't hurt him! Please, he's my friend! He has nothing to do with any of this!" Star begged in a panic.

"Oh, now what makes you think I want to hurt him?" Eclipsa questioned with a chuckle.

"B-but you-" Star stuttered.

"But I what, child? Don't you know that I used to be married?" Eclipsa asked.

"You mean, Shastacan Spiderbite?" Star questioned.

She soon regretted it, because the next thing she knew, Eclipsa suddenly appeared in front of her with a livid expression, and grabbed Star by the throat to bring her closer to her face.

"DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK THE BASTARD'S NAME IN FRONT OF ME! THAT IMPUDENT SNOOTY FLESHBAG IS NO HUSBAND OF MINE! I NEVER LOVED HIM!!! YOU UNDERSTAND ME, BRAT!" Eclipsa yelled, the white sclera of her eyes turning black as her red irises glowed a blazing red.

"Y-yes! I do! *ack* I'm s-sorry! *ack* I'm sorry! Please! *ack*" Star pleaded as she's being choked by the vampire queen.

With an annoyed huff, Eclipsa tossed Star aside, and the princess grabbed her throat as she coughed, and gasped for air.

"If he wasn't your husband. *Cough* *cough* *gasp* Then who was?" Star asked.

"You should be saying who still is." Eclipsa said in a cold tone as she glared at the princess.

"What do you mean?" Star asked.

Eclipsa merely chuckled darkly before answering.

"Ever heard of reincarnation? Dying then having your soul be reborn as someone or something else? Well, for vampires, it's almost always as someone else, and sometimes being reborn entirely with no memory as to who they once were. In this case, my dear beloved Gregory, the one who made me who I am now, has died, and his soul became reborn into someone we both know. I think you know who I'm talking about, princess." Eclipsa explained.

Star's eyes widened with frightening realization.

"Marco." She said.

"Ding ding ding! I guess you're not as naive as I thought you were. Now I believe I wasted enough time toying with you. Time to wake up." Eclipsa said.

She then lunges at Star with a horrific shriek, making Star scream in horror.

...

...

Star woke up in a cold sweat with a scream. She looked around to see that it's morning, and she's in her bedroom unharmed.

Star calmed her rapid breathing. Seeing that it was all a nightmare.

"Oh thank corn. It was only a nightmare. But... was all of it a nightmare?" Star told herself.

...

Later, she headed downstairs to her family's dining room.

She saw her Mother, Queen Moon, and her Father, King River, already having breakfast.

"Morning Mom, morning Dad." Star greeted.

"Morning, sweetheart." River greeted back.

"Morning, Star." Moon greeted back as well.

Star sat at he table, her breakfast already at the table. It was ribs, and milk in a goblet.

"How was your sleep, Dear?" River asked.

"It was... scary." Star answered.

"A nightmare then?" Moon questioned.

"Yes. Let's just say it involved Eclipsa. I rather not go into details just yet." Star said, taking a sip of her milk.

As soon as she fully tasted it, she immediately spat it out.

"Oh my god! Did the milk go bad? It tastes awful!" Star exclaimed in disgust as she set the goblet down.

"What do you mean? It tastes perfectly fine." Moon said, taking a sip from her goblet.

"What? But it tastes like-" Star paused before she finish her sentence.

Why?

Because the milk in her goblet began to turn pink... then red... then a deep dark red... then it began to overflow the goblet, and began to drip down the sides.

As it began to spill out over the table, and onto the floor, Star began to freak out.

"Mom? What's going on?!" Star asked, beginning to panic.

"Nothing, dear. Just eat your ribs." Moon said, oblivious to what's happening.

Even her Dad seemed to be oblivious.

Star then got a good look at the ribs on all of their plates. They still seemed to be... bloody.

"Mom? Why are the ribs still raw?" Star questioned, beginning to have a mental freak out.

"Because it's good for us, my sweet little blood bag." Her mom answered.

"Good for us? What do you mean- wait, blood bag?" Star realized, becoming much more terrified by the second.

Both her parents turned to face her. Their eyes glowed red, and hissed at her, showing her their new fangs.

They shrieked as they lunged at Star, and all she could do was scream.

...

...

Star woke up screaming at the top of her lungs, practically alerting everyone in the castle.

She gasped for breath as she began to sob hysterically, and held her knees to her chest.

Suddenly her door exploded off its hinges as King River came charging through with a huge log as a battering ram. Queen Moon followed behind with more grace than her husband.

"WHERE'S THE DANGER?!" River shouted.

The two rulers of the castle looked towards their daughter's bed to see their daughter in a distraught state.

"Star, what happened?" Moon said as she approached her.

The moment Moon got close enough to the bed, Star leaped towards her, and hugged her tightly as she sobbed into her mother's shoulder.

Moon returned the hug, and began to comfort her sobbing child.

"Shh, shh, shh. It's ok, Star. It's ok." Moon said in a soft comforting tone as she rubbed her daughter's back.

...

Back on earth...

It's early morning in the neighborhood of Echo Creek, and someone has had it with the nonsense going on.

That someone is of course, Marco Diaz.

Marco quickly got dressed in his usual day clothes, walked out the door, and marched over to Mrs. E's house.

He was about to knock on her door, but noticed a doorbell. He rang the doorbell, and waited for a response.

He crossed his arms, and tapped his foot as he waited. It wasn't long until Mrs. E opened the door to reveal that she's in pink slippers, pink pants, and a pink bath robe. She looked surprised to see him.

"Marco? What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"I just have a question to ask you." Marco said simply, putting on a blank face.

"Well, couldn't it wait until after class? School starts in an hour." Mrs. E asked.

"Not really, I'm afraid." Marco said.

"Oh. Then what is it?" She asked curiously.

"Are you, Eclipsa?" He asked without missing a beat.

Mrs. E seemed to be confused by the question.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I said are you Eclipsa?" Marco repeated.

"Who's Eclipsa?"

"A royal queen who's over three hundred years old, became a vampire, has been slowly spreading her terror in the dimension known as mewni, a woman who has been appearing in my dreams nonstop, has finally confirmed herself to be who I thought it was, and I think it's you." Marco stated after the explanation.

Mrs. E stared at Marco with a blank face. But she then began to snicker before she went full on laughing. Laughing to the point where she's wheezing with laughter.

"Oh ho! Mar-har-co! That's the silliest thing I've ever heard! You think I'm a vampire queen from another dimension who's haunting your dreams?! That's hysterical, darling!" Mrs. E laughed.

"Oh really? Then how do you explain why you look like her, besides the different hair color, and lack of spades on your cheeks? Plus, I didn't even meet you until yesterday!" Marco pointed out.

"Maybe it's a coincidence? Who knows? Besides, I'm honestly flattered that you think I'm a vampire queen." Mrs. E said.

"Really? Because I literally just came to your doorstep early in the morning like a crazy person." Marco said.

"Oh it's fine, dear. It could just be your mind playing tricks on you." Mrs. E said.

Ok, now Marco is having second thoughts.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Of course I am." Mrs. E reassured in a comforting tone.

Marco sighed tiredly. Now he just felt silly.

"Ok. I'm sorry for accusing of something like that. I think I'm going nuts." Marco said.

"I forgive you. Now run along. We both have to get ready for the day." Mrs. E said.

"Ok. Im sorry for bothering you." Marco said.

"I told you that's fine, darling. Think nothing of it. Besides, I enjoy the company. But if I were you, I'd probably keep this 'vampire queen' accusation to yourself. People might see you as insane or delusional." Mrs. E said.

"Noted. Thanks." Marco said before walking back over to his house.

"Have a pleasant day now, dear." Mrs. E said before closing the door.

As soon as her door closed, Marco began talking to himself.

"Ugh! I can't believe I just did that. I'm such an idiot!" Marco said, face palming for feeling ridiculous.

He then walked back into house, and just as he closed the door, he failed to see Mrs. E peeking through her window. Her small smile grows as she retreats from sight.

...

Back in mewni...

After Star had explained what her nightmare was about, Moon knew that it was only a matter of time before Eclipsa could strike again. So she went to the library to search for a cautionary measure. More specifically, anything about vampire slayers.

Queen Moon grabbed a book that was hidden amongst shelves of the library. The book itself wasn't necessarily hidden on purpose, you just needed to know where to look. Just like any book I guess.

Anyways, Moon turned the pages to find a specific vampire hunter. But chances are, he's not around, and could be dead or hiding. But Moon was willing to take that chance. After all, the hunter she seeks was there during Eclipsa's many nights of terror.

The Butterfly queen stopped turning pages once she found a picture of the hunter she's hoping to find.

The picture showed an anthropomorphic fox monster wearing a trench coat, and a top hat.

"There's no chance he's around. But I can't be too careful." Moon said.

Under the picture, it said the name of the slayer.

Ok. I think that's a good place to stop.

Originally, I was gonna have the encounter with Mrs. E and Marco go a little different, but I decided against it.

Also, Star's first nightmare is a spin-off of the dream I had that I mentioned in a previous chapter. It's not entirely how the dream went, but I edited to have a somewhat similar concept. Basically the part where Star hides in the auto shop is the closest part that matches. The chase and interactions are of course adding in by me.

Also, Star's second nightmare is an idea by Gabeherndon308. Which according to him, is based somewhat on a Sym-Bionic Titan episode, but I added some of my own glare to it. Like the overflowing goblet, which is based off a scene in the Netflix movie The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

Ok, enough chit chat. It's response time!

neztro: Thank you.

gabeherndon308: Indeed it is.

Ckelly2430: Thank you. Glad you like it.

TruthfulMask: Thank you.

Lerans: First, thank you. Second, thank you. Thirdly, you'll have to see in future chapters.

The Book of Eli: Thanks. Also, the ghosts aren't anyone in particular. They're basically ghosts of Eclipsa's victims from the past.

Ok, now like always, I'll see you guys in the next chapter.
