Analyzer
"Analyzer. I am Duusu, the Peacock Kwami and your creator. You've been created for one task, and one task only. Analyze my current master, tell me all of their secrets."
As soon as the commands were given, Analyzer nodded, or at least its digital avatar's head nodded. It was a computer program sentimonster, a creature made from emotions and subservient to the one holding the object containing its amok, although in the case of Duusu however, things were a bit different.
Duusu hovered above the terminal screen.
"Yes, yes. Show me what you got.."
The sentimonster crawled through the Society's local networks. Traversing through the local cybersphere, Analyzer made its way until it reached the port for a charging station.
"Just keep there until master plugs itself back in to charge up."
Analyzer: … Wouldn't that machine know that I'm here?
"Do not worry about it. They won't know."
Analyzer: Understood.
"When my master does plug in, get inside. Access my master's files then after you have gained all you can gleam about the master come back to me."
Duusu phases through a couple of walls before appearing in front of an old dilapidated pc. Hovering nearby, Duusu begins pressing on the keyboard with his body. By now Duusu is certain that his master has gotten so used to his antics that though it has become clear to him she has difficulty in perceiving him, whatever actions she senses of him will now be ignored. Well, at least that's what he thinks.
"Once you have finished accessing its files, return to this terminal here. I'll be waiting."
Analyzer nods before scurrying off into the cyber verse.
With Analyzer waiting about, it was time for Duusu to make his usual rounds for the day. Phasing through a couple of walls until he reached the room he was searching for, the little kwami floated up to a book on a bookshelf and grabbing onto it he carried it down to the stool where he began flipping through its pages.
"Mm hm, mm hm… Okay. I think I got it. I think I got the basics for operating these machines down to a notch."
Over these past 100 or so iterations, Duusu nas been taken to study how to operate the machines of the Society. Prior to that in the last 1000 iterations Duusu would meticulously pour over what books on programming held and he would use whatever knowledge he had gleamed to construct his own computer programs. By this iteration, Duusu had developed the skills of a renown programmer.
Duusu: "Fufufu.. Still having a hard time bypassing that parental control, Trixx?"
Trixx: "Oh sure, you talk like that but I bet even you can't get past the Chief's cyber security. Goddamnit. Why'd he have to block off my access?"
Duusu: "Fret not. I can handle this."
A memory. How long ago was this one? In this iteration, Miawa, after disbanding the Advanced Sciences Society for the final time had decided to devote herself up for social work. It was in this iteration where Miawa had decided to forgo her only Miraculous stating that she needed to move on.
Miawa: "Duusu. From now on you'll be in this family's capable hands. I trust you'll know what to do, yes?"
Duusu: "But master, I-"
Miawa: "I am no longer your master. This little child here is and quite frankly, I never liked you calling me master or mistress."
Duusu blushes.
Miawa: "I've always considered you a friend. Now cheer up. It won't be that bad."
That was a few years ago. Now at 3 years in that iteration, Duusu had made himself at home with that man's family. He was the Chief of the Agency that employed Chijinda and just how Miawa had given up her MIraculous, so had he. Narue too. So many Miraculous, all in one man's household.
Duusu: "And there. You'll now be able to access all those dirty online magazines you wanted and what's better yet, I made it so that he won't be able to track your web crawling experience."
Trixx: "Neat!"
Duusu: "Instead it will look like you were searching up environmentally safe stuff, ya know. The kind that wouldn't arouse up any suspicion."
Wayzz: "That's quite impressive there, Duusu. I never knew you were so handy with these electronics. I still can't quite figure them out myself"
Trixx: "It's like you've taken a masterclass on programming."
Duusu: "Hm mm. I have my hobbies."
The memory fades. That must've been a while back, in what iteration was that again? It's hard for Duusu to remember.
Duusu's stomach growls.
"I guess I'm hungry right now. Now let's see what I can grab here in this nearby forest."
Phasing through the walls again, Duusu floated about in the nearby woods searching for his prey. He spots it. It's a stag beetle
Nom.
"Ah! That hits the spot."
Having fed himself on a stag beetle, Duusu heads back to the Society facility building.
Hm. It's been quite a while and Miawa has still to show up. I wonder if something's happened to her? Well, whatever. I'm sure she'll show up eventually. Since I got time to kill I think I'll spend that taking a nap.
Man! Having a robot girl as a master- I never knew I could have so much freedom! Huhuh, this is seriously relaxing. Hm. I wonder? Maybe it's best if I'd just let it think I'm just some sort of error. Ah, but then I'd never hear the end of that from Trixx. Wayzz would also be on my case not to forget Plagg and Kaalki. Speaking of Plagg, why hasn't that Black Cat kwami shown up yet? He's usually one of the first Kwamis the Society finds in all these iterations asides from myself.
…
Just how different is this iteration?
…
This place. It's too quiet. Other than master here, there's not another single living entity here. It's like this place is completely deserted. Just what is going on here?
…
Ya know what? I think I've had a long enough vacation. This isn't right. This simply isn't right anymore.
"Where are you, Miawa? Why haven't you shown up yet? Erika? Reina? Mizuho?"
They couldn't have all left, could they?
"Ah! Right. I still have Miawa's phone number and Mizuho's email address. I'll just hook them up and-"
This number is no longer in service.
No.. that can't be right. That number's always worked before. And Mizuho's email address?
550 Message was not accepted - invalid mailbox
Her email address does not exist? That's a first. It's getting around that time now. She should be back any moment now. I'll just wipe all logs from today. Wouldn't want my master to get too suspicious.
…
Okay. It is finished.
Miawa.. wherever you are, I will find you.
!
What's this?
…
There it is again. I know this sensation. It's a feeling. An emotion. But of what? It's so faint.
…
It's gone now. It doesn't matter.
The next day…
"Analyzer. Have you gained all you can from my master?"
Analyzer: Indeed I have, master Duusu.
"Excellent. Show it to me then."
