Surfing on Waves to a Mighty Love Bloom
The scene shows the beach where Luffy is there with his family have come to have some great time of the summer day as there are other people, families and friends together for the same reason though some guys are here for the ladies in their bikinis.
"(This is totally the beach; I can see that.)" Luffy thought reminded himself.
"(My family came here for our annual beach time after summer vacation start, and always just bee me with my grandpa and big sister. Just the three of us.)" Luffy thought stated.
"(Or that how it was supposed to be.)" Luffy thought moved his eyes to the right.
"It's sure feels good to come here." Harribel sighed joyfully and feeling the sunlight on her skin while wearing white two-piece bikini with little pictures of sharks on them.
"(WHY THE HEL ARE YOU HERE, TEACHER?!)" Luffy thought gasped, then got hit in the head by a soda can.
"Luffy, quit spacing out and me set up our spot." Luffy's grandpa shouted.
Luffy's grandpa is a tall, tanned, broad-chested, muscular old man. He has a beard and a scar over his left eye, and the color of his eyes are blue. He wears sandals, a red tropical shirt and light-colored shorts.
This man is Monkey D. Garp, Luffy's strict but caring grandpa with two strong fists.
"Ow, that hurt, grandpa! Can't you just hand me the soda can like a normal old man!" Luffy yelled in anger.
"Huh, you're complaining about a soda can? I trained you to be tougher than that if you're gonna join the army." Garp said.
"Shut up, I keep telling you for the billon times, I'm not joining any boring army. I'm going to become a sailor like a pirate!" Luffy shouted.
"There are sailors in the army, you could sign up for that!" Garp argued.
"No way! I can sail of my own free will and no one telling me what to do!" Luffy argued back pressing his forehead against his elder.
"Damn it, boy! Everything has a price including freedom!" Garp pushed his grandson.
"No there isn't, freedom is free!" Luffy pointed out, pushing Garp back.
"I can see Mister Garp is still the same as ever." Harribel commented.
"Yeah, he can never keep his emotions in check when it comes to something important." A young woman giggled.
"I like to thank you for inviting me to your family beach time, but are you sure it's wise to invite an outsider, Makino?" Harribel asked.
"Of course, anything for my Senpai." Makino nodded.
Makino is a young woman with brown eyes and dark green hair that goes up to just above her shoulders. She wears a lime green one-piece bikini that exposed her and has her signature kerchief that is an orange blouse with black sleeves. Breasts sizes: DD-cup.
"Okay you two, that is enough!" Makino pushed Luffy and Garp apart.
"We're here to enjoy some family fun time at the beach like we always go every year, let us not forget we have a guest here. So, play nice or not meat for lunch for you." Makino threatened.
"No, please! Don't throw the meat away!" Luffy and Garp begged then to work on setting up the beach towels and other things.
"It's funny of how much you became even more of the top dog in the family, I remember you being shy." Harribel giggled.
"Yeah, well, I remember you being cold and keeping your distance from others back in high school." Makino recalled.
"When you told me that you didn't have any plans for the summer, I figured I could invite you two join me and my family to the beach since I recall you always love the ocean." Makino explained.
"That is true, I can never grow tired of seeing the ocean as if I have come home." Harribel smiled at the ocean.
"Then it was a great idea for you to come, and I'm sure this gives you the opportunity to spend time with Luffy as well." Makino mentioned.
"Wh-What do you mean spend time with him? Where did that come from?" Harribel asked shock and blushing.
"Come now, don't think I didn't notice the tone in your voice when I mentioned Luffy's name over the phone call last week." Makino teased with a grin.
"You were hearing things; I do not have any feelings toward that boy." Harribel denied despite her blushing cheeks.
"Maybe you're right, you were never the type to look for any man in your life, but aren't you worry about living a lonely life?" Makino asked.
"It's fine, I still have friends like you and there are occasions when I can see my family from time to time." Harribel stated.
"I don't know, sounds to me like you're desperate to find a man and my little brother may fit the bill." Makino offered.
"Do you realize how crazy that sounds? Me, a teacher, dating one of her students, it doesn't work like that." Harribel pointed out.
"Maybe in the law and all, but I seem to recall a friend of mine dating a teacher at her university and it seems to work out well." Makino mentioned.
"Then they are fools." Harribel said as her cheeks are blushing harder.
"(Oh yeah, she and Luffy are definitely going to hook up.)" Makino grinned thought as she starts hatching a plan.
Soon, Luffy went into the water to have some fun like pretending to be a fish-man monster having a big adventure and Harribel is there as well for her own relaxing swim time out in the ocean, the cold yet smoothing feeling of the ocean onto her body makes her feel like she is one with the sea.
"I guess Makino inviting me here was a good idea." Harribel smiled.
Meanwhile in the water, Luffy is swimming around pretending to be on a treasure hunt though deeply wishes he was on one or maybe find something interesting, then he saw something shining on the floor and decided to check it out.
However, he couldn't get close to the shining when his lungs have reached their limit and struggle to hold his breath in any longer and quickly swam back up to the surface, but he was in such a rush to get his breath again, he didn't notice that he is swimming right at Harribel from behind. By the time he realizes this, it was too late as his face had collided against the tanned-skin woman's butt as she gasp in surprise and her legs suddenly close onto each other with Luffy's head in the middle.
"Hey, what gives?" Luffy confused as he is trying to get some air.
"AH! Luffy, is that you?!" Harribel asked surprise and let out a little moan. Luckily, no one around seems to have heard that.
"Luffy, stop moving around so much down there!" Harribel said as she tries to remove herself from Luffy.
Luffy does the same as he grabs her legs and push her away finally getting his head up to the surface and taking in the fresh air into his mouth and lungs.
"Oh man, I thought I was gonna drown." Luffy relieved.
"Hey, what's the big idea of blocking my way… up…?" Luffy realized that the butt of someone he just swam at was Harribel with most of her body in the water except for the upper half of her head.
"Uh, oh, hey teach." Luffy greeted nervously with a gulp.
Luffy doesn't know what to do right now as he still feels nervous and a little weird from what happened at the laundry place since that rainy day, he couldn't stop thinking about how her butt felt and the weird noise she made too. He never felt anything like this to any girls whether they're some he knew or others, but Harribel is different somehow and he couldn't tell why.
"How are you enjoying the beach so far?" Luffy asked as he looks away.
"Fine, the ocean feels just as I remember back in my surfing days." Harribel answered.
"That's cool." Luffy chuckled, then realize what she just said.
"Wait, did you just say you were a surfer?" Luffy asked shock.
"That's right, I was not only the captain of my swim team, but I was also talented surfer that I would compete in a surfing contest in Hawaii." Harribel revealed moving her head up.
"Wow, that's awesome! Have you won any trophies?" Luffy asked, amazes of finding out more about his teacher.
"Yes, a few in fact." Harribel grinned.
"Oh man, that is the coolest thing I have ever heard! You're awesome!" Luffy complimented.
"(Oh my, Luffy thinks I'm cool and awesome!)" Harribel thought squealed.
"Hey, you two, lunch is ready!" Makino called out.
"Coming!" Harribel responded as she raises herself and causing her breasts to bump into Luffy's face.
Both Luffy and Harribel felt like they are frozen in fear with their face turning red, then Harribel did the only thing she could and that is push Luffy down and going back to their spot while the boy just allow himself to sink for a few seconds.
Everyone started eating their beach picnic lunch as Garp and Luffy are eating the delicious meat Makino cooked for them as the girls are enjoying themselves as well.
"So, it must have felt good." Makino said.
"Yes, I can never get tired of the ocean no matter how many times I went there." Harribel smiled as she drinks her soda.
"Oh, I'm not talking about that." Makino said before leaning closer to Harribel's ear.
"I'm talking about how you jumped onto Luffy when I called you two." Makino whispered causing Harribel to spit her soda in shock.
"Uh, everything okay with you?" Garp asked.
"Nothing to be concern about, just some girl talk." Makino brushed her grandpa away who just shrugged and got back to eating.
"And you told me that you don't feel anything toward my little brother." Makino grinned.
"Makino, it was an accident! Nothing was happening between us, okay." Harribel stated.
"Sure, nothing between you two." Makino giggled
"(She's not going to let this down, is here?)" Harribel thought sweatdropped.
"Oh hey, that reminds me of this little secret spot we discovered together." Makino mentioned, deciding on changing the subject (for now).
"You mean at the far side of the beach?" Harribel asked.
"Yeah, I went to check there before making lunch and the place is still empty as we remember." Makino nodded.
"Is that right? It would be nice to visit that place again." Harribel smiled.
"Not wait when you can go there right now, you're already finish with your lunch anyway." Makino pointed at Harribel's empty paper plate.
"Well, guess now would be a good time as any." Harribel chuckled.
"Great, and Luffy will accompany you." Makino suggested that almost made Harribel trip over.
"What's that about me?" Luffy asked, thought he overheard Makino mention his name with his mouth full of meat, of course.
"Harribel decided to go out for a walk to an old spot we used to go to and very private for us, and I think was thinking you should go see it for yourself." Makino explained.
"Whoa, you got your own secret hideout!" Luffy asked surprise.
"Well, it's more like a hangout whenever we come to the beach on ever chance, we get like on summer vacation." Harribel said.
"Go on, me and grandpa will hold down the fort here while you two go have fun!" Makino pushed Harribel forward passing Luffy.
"V-Very well, come along, Luffy." Harribel said blushing and walking ahead.
"Okay!" Luffy excited following his teacher.
"You're up to something, aren't you?" Garp asked.
"What ever do you mean, grandpa?" Makino asked playing.
"Whatever this is, better hope that Luffy doesn't screw it up." Garp sighed before going back to drinking his beer can.
"Oh, I'm sure things will work out very well." Makino giggled.
(With Luffy and Harribel)
Luffy is following Harribel from behind as they walk along the shoreline of the beach as he started to see there are less and less people the further, they go and walked onto a path through some trees.
"Hey, are we getting closer?" Luffy asked.
"Don't worry, we should be there about now." Harribel gestured to the opening of the trees.
Luffy's eyes widen of shock when he saw the beach is so much cleaner than back at the beach spot they were at, and the ocean looks so shiner too like something was doing some major spring cleaning around here.
"Oh man, this place is awesome!" Luffy amazed as he runs around a little.
"Man, you guys found this place and kept it all to yourselves!" Luffy laughed.
"We stumble upon it by accident when we volunteered to help clean up some trash on the beach, Makino got the idea thinking we were meant to come here and made the place ours." Harribel explained as she walks closer to the water.
"You know, I remember silly she once said to me before I graduated from high school." Harribel chuckled.
"What did she say?" Luffy asked curiously.
"Well, it just that she wanted to come back here again with her soulmate and do love things together right here, she also pointed out that I should do the same if I were to find myself a lover." Harribel recalled those words.
"Oh man, that is totally something Makino would say." Luffy laughed a bit.
"Yes, though it would be nice to be with someone to share this moment right now." Harribel said.
Luffy and Harribel turn their heads toward each other making direct eye contact and in that moment or two, they started to feel like something is making their heart race faster than before and realize they are having that moment right now.
This realization causes their face to turn red and quickly turn away from each other before something else could happen.
"D-D-Don't get the wrong idea, I don't mean being with you as a lover or anything!" Harribel clarified.
"Right, right, not like I was thinking about something perverted or stupidu." Luffy nodded rapidly.
"(Damn it, there's that feeling again. Why am I acting this way, she is just my teacher!)" Luffy thought then touch his pocket.
"(Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that.)" Luffy thought remembered something from earlier when he was swimming.
"Hey Miss Harribel, I found something cool when I was swimming." Luffy mentioned.
"Oh, found a gold coin." Harribel joked.
"No, but it looked really cool." Luffy puled out the object from the swimsuit of his pocket showing a yellow shark pendant.
"Oh my, that is cool! I say you have jut discovered your first treasure." Harribel smiled.
"Thanks, though to be honest, I'm not really sure if I should keep it or not. I like sharks, but I don't think this would feel right on me." Luffy stated.
Then he looks back and forth between the shark pendant necklace and Harribel which gave him the idea.
"Hey, don't you wear it?" Luffy asked.
"But isn't that yours? You're the one who found it." Harribel pointed out.
"Like I said, it doesn't feel right me wearing this though I think it would look great on you since you love the ocean and all." Luffy smiled.
"Well, if that how you feel then go ahead." Harribel turned around.
Luffy got closer feeling his heart going crazy again, but decided to ignore that and tries to put the shark necklace around her neck though it is difficult when the handle things are small as he tries to put the hook into the ring, but failed after several times.
"Damn it, this is really hard." Luffy exclaimed.
"I can do it myself, I had a lot of practice." Harribel offered.
"I guess that's okay." Luffy said going with her idea.
But just as Luffy separate the hook and ring, he unknowingly untied the string of her top bikini part and the necklace out of his fingers.
"Oh no!" Luffy freaked out a bit.
"I got it!" Harribel threw her hands out and caught the necklace.
But she didn't know that her bikini top fell and Luffy tried to catch the necklace himself, but his hand ended up on Harribel's breasts making her yelp in surprise.
"L-Luffy, what are you doing?" Harribel asked.
"Sorry, I wanted to get the necklace from falling! I don't know why I even did that!" Luffy apologized.
(Later)
"Well, that certainly was an eventful day at the beach." Harribel exclaimed as she is lying on her bed, with the yellow shark pendant around her neck.

Luffy and Harribel sure had an interesting time at the beach in more ways than they thought it would be, and it looks like both of them are starting to feel the strong love toward each other which may need one last push.
