Ch 26
"Asuna can I ask a dumb question?" Kirito asked looking over the columns of troops standing against them.
"Kirito I've been your battle partner for two years, so go ahead and ask." Asuna answered sighing.
"Why is it that we start an invasion and when they are proven to have a numerically superior force we are ordered to turn tail?" Kirito asked nonchalantly.
"Kirito, it's a circumstantial situation." Asuna said groaning as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
"But we're physically superior." Kirito continued before mumbling. "Hence why I ordered us to be left as rearguard."
"Kirito, your way older than I am, have way more experience than I do! So do I have to explain it to you, as we're in the middle of a battle?! Or are you finally going senile?!" Asuna yelled as she used a water shield to stop from getting bombarded by flame spells from the enemy mages.
"Sorry I just got distracted." Kirito answered drawing his swords before taking a few calming breaths and disappearing in a burst of speed toward their enemies.
Asuna sighed and followed after him. "You're such a handful! I'm glad it's Liz that has to put up with you!" She yelled in frustration.
Kirito and Asuna separated a few minutes into mowing down the opposition when the mass of soldiers split their attention.
To keep from being overwhelmed Kirito transformed into his dragon form drawing the attention from the ballista corp at the edge of the fields. Six different ballista launched bolts carrying magically reinforced nets. Kirito was able to evade them by returning to fae form as one of the bolts exploded less than a meter from him throwing him to the ground. Dazed Kirito looked around for a second before a distinct sound flew by his head that he hadn't heard in almost 60 years snapped him back to full alertness. Looking to the side Kirito saw a soldier that must have been about to hit him with the mace in his hand but his head looked like an exploded melon. Picking up his swords that had fallen to the ground he prepared to start hack and slashing again. "Nice of you to join the party Major." Kirito said to the air with a grin.
"Shouldn't you be behind a desk Commander? Or at least at the rear line." The familiar voice answered through the ear piece in his right ear as another round got sent downrange saving Asuna.
"Sounds like work. And I lead from the front." Kirito cutting down a few more soldiers. "And Titania promoted me to Grand Marshall."
"Well congratulations." Sinon answered as she racked a round.
"Dig a tunnel, dig dig a tunnel, oh we're through!" Smith pops out of the ground close to Kirito. "Ow." He states as the soldier standing there fell into the hole.
"Smith." Kirito says nonchalantly.
"Damn it Smith check your surroundings before you surface!" Logan yelled pushing Smith out of the hole. "Move it before I remove something."
'Zing' A bullet hit another soldier close to them. "Dad be nice you can yell at him later." Sinon said over the radio as they heard her rack another round.
"Wolverine, this is Commander Kirito." Smith stage whispered. "Kirito dad, Wolverine, also known as Logan. He came over through the amusphere when he went to check on his daughter in Tokyo." Kirito and Logan gave him a confused look. "What? Don't y'all have that voice in your head that tells you random but sometimes important things? No? Just me? Huh, that's funny, meh, I'm not going to lose my head over it." As he said that Smith gets decapitated. "Well that's never happened before. First time for everything I guess. Hi there." The soldiers in the vicinity screamed in shock. "You'd think he'd never seen a decapitated head before." Smith turned his head with his neck somehow still functioning. "Hey Dad, think you could re-attach my head, it'd probably take too long to grow my body back, and I'd like to be a little help."
Logan groaned as he none to kindly picked up Smith's head by his hair. "If you can actually heal like that your mutation is stronger than Wades."
"I'm not actually sure if it'll work, you see, it is possible to reattach human limbs, the first operation to reattaching a severed arm happened back in the nineteen sixties and has became pretty standard procedure now. I just figured if you stuck my head to my body the mutation might decide to attach to the body rather than growing a new one. But you know the amazing thing isn't that I'd be able to reattach my head to my body but that I'm speaking right now, I mean, scientifically and biologically speaking it should be impossible as I'm not connected to my body, I can't force air to move, I think it's working." Smith's cracked his neck affirming his statement. "Anyways, As I was saying, I can't force air over my vocal cords. Will y'all quit interrupting I'm trying to talk here." Smith cuts down a soldier. "I forget did Prince wales come over with you or is he still in the future?"
Logan opened his mouth before Kirito interrupted as he cut another man in half. "Smith, what do you mean the future?"
"What, you want me to spell it out for you? Some people." Smith said pointing his thumb at Logan as he looks towards the readers, turning back he said, "We are about 25,000 years in the past and 50,000 light years away from Planet Dirt. That's what I don't get, every other planet in the Cosmos has a cool name, like Tuchanka, why is our home planet called dirt? Give or take a few thou. Hey, is that Sheffield? That item she has looks rather suspicious, so if you could just go take, I mean 'borrow', it from her, that'd be nice." Smith said looking at Kirito.

"How can this be happening?" Cromwell asked as he fidgeted in fear before turning to the woman in the dark cowl next to him. "Don't you have something that can kill those pesky demons?"
"Quit making a fuss Jormungandr will take care of it." Sheffield stated as a blue mettalic bird on her shoulder took off in the direction of the small group of enemy forces to as it morphed into a golem and grew in size.

Smith noticed Jormungandr flying towards them, "Hey, Sinon dear, do you mind taking…" 'Zing' before he could finish his sentence they heard the bullet go by.
"Already working on it." Sinon said over the radio, racking another round.
'Zing'
"Uh, Sinon dear, it's getting a little close for comfort." Smith stated.
'Zing'
"Hey shoot the flying machine not the grunts around us!" Smith yelled as he stopped another sword from cutting him.
"There's a magic field shielding it." Sinon replied as three more soldiers fell. "And I'm out of Ammo." She said as she stood and collapsed her rifles stock and slung it over her shoulder.
"Don't take the gun, just drop it into the tunnel, there should be an opening five feet from your location." Smith said, "No reason for you to be fighting hand to hand while carrying a rifle since you haven't figured out how to use your item box yet."
"We don't have one of those Smith. And how do you think I got up here?" Sinon said sighing as she wrapped her rifle in it's case before dropping it in the tunnel opening.
"Walking down the tunnels, how else." Smith stated. "Well I guess you could have crawled through through the underbrush like an assassin or something. So what's your count, Wolverine?"
"Smith, I swear I will find some way to end you." Logan growled as soldiers ran past the duo screaming causing Logan to look further away. "This is not good."
"I could be wrong here but, in the anime, wasn't the Jormungandr supposed to be a huge golem that took a lot of magical energy and could only get defeated by void magic." Smith mused. "And I don't know void magic, so we're going to have to rely on the protagonist of the story for this one."
"Smith that is a giant Mech, and what do you mean protagonist?!" Logan yelled. "But it appears the commanders don't care for the rank and file. Typical." He added as the Jormungandr landed crushing a group of soldiers.
"Protagonist, protagonist, ah, here it is. Protagonist: the principal character in a literary work." Smith read from a dictionary as he avoided the fleeing soldiers. "They typically hide great amounts of power which can be called upon in times of great duress, or when a large group of friends pool power together into said protagonist allowing him to release a powerful attack, and I haven't undergone hellish training only to make it here to fight alongside everyone, so it's not me."
"I didn't ask for the meaning, and where did you have that thing hiding?!" Logan yelled. "You know what I don't want to know." He added as a burst of light went off signaling that Kirito had transformed.

High above the surface almost to the outer edge of the thermosphere was a ship that was made with three pillars evenly spaced around a cylinder suspended in the middle with a platform at the top and bottom of the pillars. Within the top platform was what appeared to be a ships bridge that had displays and control placed around it that where manned by a strange mixture of beings.
"Sayo what's our position?" Erkunden asked from his position in the middle of the room.
"Hwun Hekernd." Sayo said through a poor T-Rex's leg she was chewing on.
A gasp was heard from Tethu as he reached toward a table with a variety of foods "How rude!" He then proceeded to dip what looked like a chip and eat it, Crunch "Whoops." Tethu wiped his shirt with a rag from where the prehistoric dip fell.
"You realize your not any better don't you Tethu?" Diana said looking over her back.
"Hey, at least I didn't speak with my mouth full!" Tethu stated indignantly.
"Will y'all quit playing around and take this seriously for once!" Erkunden ordered. "Atlas take us down to 8000 meters."
"Relax gramps, its not like we'll fly right over a war zone." Sayo said after taking the leg bone out of her mouth as they began their decent. A few minutes later they could see Albion as they broke through the clouds about 800 meters from the surface over the fields of Saxe-Gotha. "Can I rescind that last statement?"
"Heya Esna, Miura. I'm a thinkin dat we're gonna need to wait on that food." Tethu said as he grabbed a handful of chips, dunked them in the dip, and stuffed them in his mouth.
"That's very counter productive Tethu, I mean look at all the food on the table." The woman with long feathery looking like red hair called Esna said, while gesturing at the table of food.
"Of all things, why did you grab the chips?" The woman with short feathery dark brown hair called Miura, grabbed a dodo's drumstick "I mean, what about this?"
"Do you really want to make him any stupider by giving him dodo butt cheeks?" Sayo asked snickering profusely as she lumbered towards the transfer gate as her armor rippled into being over her body.
"Come on Sayo do you really want to tick off the pregnant Griffon?" Luthier asked as he got up from his station.
"Quit arguing there's a battle going on down there." Erkunden ordered. "Atlas make the ark stationary so we can get down there."
"LAST ONE OUT IS A SOUR OLD PRUNE!" Sayo roared gleefully as she disappeared through the transfer gate.
Apollo pointed to the portal. "Well she's gone."
Tethu said as he looked down at the battlefield. "I'm not sure if we should be concerned for her safety, or feel sorry for the people that she'll rip to shreds."
"She does know that her armor is technically a saddle with three seats on it right?" Erkunden asked as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Whatever everyone let's go. Except you two." He stated pointing to the transformed Griffin and Pheonix.
Miura and Esna transformed back into human form, and Miura pointed at Erkunden. "Just because I'm pregnant, does not mean that I can't fight!"
"Actually it does mean you can't fight because the stress of combat could affect the child in a bad way and you could have a miscarriage." Atlas said matter of factly before he went through the portal.
Preacher grabbed Miura's shoulders as she was about to chase him in anger. "Sweetie. Atlas is right, and I was about to say the same thing."
Esna gently held Miura's hand. "Let's just face it Miura. We would probably slow them down."

After Kirito transformed he attempted to use his claws to destroy the Jormungandr that landed close to him but was stopped by the barrier surrounding it. Six more Jormungandr landed across the battlefield. Two of them landed close enough to Kirito that they where able to overpower him and left him unconscious in human form at the bottom of a crater. One of the Jormungandr advanced on Kirito's form to finish the job when it stopped as a screeching whistle followed by a roar as a feathered creature crashed into it driving it to the ground. Undamaged the Jormungandr stood and began to attack the creature.
The monster squealed as it dodged the attack than proceeded to say "It's indestructible! Hey Erkunden, can we find a way to keep it!?" It looked around than turned to smith who was a short distance away, "Hey do you know where he is?"
"How am I supposed to know, you just showed up." Smith said.
"I thought you knew everything!?"
"No, I just break the fourth wall occasionally and receive visions that I have to interpret so y'all know what I'm talking about. It doesn't always work out though." Smith said, "Anyways what's your name so I can introduce you to my girlfriend."
"But you do know me, or you might've known." The monster knocked the closest of the two Jormungandr over, "Or you will know me in the future."
"Ah yes, time travel. You don't want to tell too many people about that because it could cause problems for others, I mean you can tell me because people think I'm crazy but I wouldn't go around telling other people." Smith said.
The monster looked at Smith and said "Say what?!"
"So you're not from the future? I mean, technically we're all from the future but you're- never mind, you were about to introduce yourself, right?" Smith asked changing the subject.
The Jormungandr still standing threw a strike towards the monster and knocked her down. Than threw another strike, but before the strike could hit the monster Atlas body slammed the Jormungandr's head and knocked it over. "Sayo! Get your head in the fight!"
Tethu landed in the crater and grabbed Kirito leaving Elucidator stuck in the ground and Dark Repulsor laying at the edge of the crater. "Erkunden, where would be a good place to take him? Other than the Ark?"
The closest Jormungandr back handed Tethu sending the pair flying before he could be answered. "Ow." Tethu mumbled as he came to a stop. Meanwhile the unconsciouse Kirito kept rolling till he came to a stop in a crumbled heap earning a gasp from Asuna whom he landed near.

"Geez Dad who knew you were subconsciously limiting yourself this much." A voice stated as Kirito opened his eyes taking in his surroundings.
He appeared to be his early thirties self sitting in seiza at one end of a room roughly 12 tatami in size wrapped in chains. Standing about a meter from him was girl dressed in black futuristic armor with flame red hair that reached the back of her knees. She greatly resembled Liz in build and height. At the moment she had a hand on her hip and the other massaging her temples before she opened her Sapphire blue eyes. The cat ears on her head and the tail behind her flicking in irritation. "Akane?" He asked shocked barely able to move because of the chains.
"Dad remember what we talked about when I was twenty?" Akane asked walking till she was right in front of him.
"You mean right after you got back from bootcamp?" Kirito inquired.
"About a week before, you had stopped a car that was about to run over a kid in the street." Akane answered a slight smirk on her face. "I remember you and mom became hermits around Joshin'etsukogen after that to escape the attention. Don't know how you got away with it." Then a scowl appeared as she grabbed him by the collar and hauled him up to her eye level. "That was two lifetimes ago you should be much stronger now seeing as the accumulation of your experience stacks!" Letting Kirito go he fell to the ground as she turned and stomped to the other end of the room in exasperation. "Looking at you now though I can see why you aren't much better than you were when you were actually this age."
"Akane I get that you're mad but what can I do?" Kirito asked hanging his head as he sat back up.
The angry look melted away being replaced by a blank face. "Quit holding yourself back otherwise I won't have the opportunity to be born a second time."
Kirito's head snapped up in surprise at that and asked intelligibly. "Huh?"
"All of us have the chance to be born into your and mom's family again but we can't if you get yourself killed." Akane answered softly as a soft chime filtered through the walls. "Our time here is up so please keep yourself and mom alive seeing as your life resetting reset us children as well. So see you in a few millennia daddy." Akane said with a smile as tears streamed down her face as everything around him faded to black.
"I must really be pathetic if even my own children have to come give me pep talks." Kirito said with a depreciating chuckle as he stood the chains holding him disintegrating. "Fine, you want me to stop holding back? I'll stop holding back." He declared as two other shadows became visible in the surrounding blackness.
One of the two shapes was the same as his dragon form. The Dragon spoke telepathically to him as he looked on. 'Because your puberty as a dragonblood occurred under such ununsual curmustances your heritage never fully integrated into your being. As such you are a fae that takes the shape of a dragon not a true dragonblood. At this moment your daughter-in-law and wife are more powerful than you.' Kirito nodded in understanding as the other shadow made itself known.
This second shadow appeared to be a humanoid shaped mass of black smoke who's only distinguishing feature was a pair of glowing eyes. 'Considering how old your soul is and how stable your mental image of yourself is the creator has given us the other two parts of yourself leave to fuse with yourself at an accelerated rate. It will be quick but due to cramming 10 plus years of maturation into a few minutes it will hurt a lot and you will also physically be aged to when you are your most powerful. The change is permanent.'
Kirito's face set in determination before declaring. "Then let us begin."
The two shadows turned into mist as they entered into Kirito's body whom grimassed as pain racked his body causing it to spasm before he screamed till his throat was raw before suddenly the pain stopped as he took rasping breaths as a savage grin spread on his face as his eyes started to glow with a white light.

In a tunnel at the other end of the battlefield under the largest concentration of enemy combatants Sinon is standing there changing mindsets annoyed with herself that she couldn't do so at the drop of a hat yet. Though it was easier to go sniper than any of her other styles of combat. "I am Fast, I am Deadly. I am Fast, I am Deadly. I am Fast, I am Deadly." She chanted as she crossed her arms over her chest. She growled as she opened her now amber eyes at the same time as her claws slid out from between her knuckles. Throwing her arms to the side she leapt out of a small hole as she went to work on the legion around her.
An end of a larger than normal manriki flew by her, hitting a soldier in the chest and sent him flying. Sinon then heard an owl screech, followed by. "Attack!"
Sinon looked in the direction of the screech and saw a giant snow owl dive bomb on to the battlefield with a spriggan dressed in dark earthen colors on it back. "Where did you you come from?!" She asked mildly shocked.
"We came from the ark!" Preacher said as he jumped off the owl and reeled the manriki back in before throwing it again.
That statement brought Sinon up short as the manriki's weight hit the head of the guy in front of her. "Ark what Ark?"
Diana froze the people around her as she screeched "Look to the sky!"
"And of course the owl talks." Sinon mumbled as she looked up. "And the fae are now in possession of a space ship." Hearing the clang of a Jormungandr landing near them brought her attention back to the battlefield. "That's not good." She said as a giant fist was heading for her.

"Kirito are you ok?!" Asuna yelled as she ran to his side taking in the sight broken and bleeding body. Looking around she saw that most of the human soldiers had either been killed or had fled. At this point all that was left was the six Jormungandr one of which was walking towards them shakily Asuna stood her magic started thrumming in her off hand as she prepared to try and take down the golem. With a battlecry she leapt at it snapping her rappier on it's shield followed by a blast of water from her left hand that caused its shield to ripple as she bounce back in the direction of Kirito's unconscious form. Panting Asuna stood in front of her friend as the Jormungandr advanced on the pair.
Just as Asuna prepared to attack again she and everyone else felt a massive weight crushing down on them. Throwing the human soldiers to the ground forcing the airborn combatants to the ground and making the fae brace themselves to keep from falling over.
"Oh, look who finally decided to wake up, and it's a good thing too, cause otherwise I was going to have to go into a speech about love and friendship and anyways it's nice to see you being better. Now if you could do something about those giants, eh?" Smith called getting a confused look from Logan.
Everyone sentient had to shield their eyes if they could move due to a bright ball of light appeared where Kirito and Asuna were. Some distance away Kirito's swords grew in size to be 14 meters long two thirds of the height of the Jormungandr.
"If I was a sword person I might be willing to scoop those babies right up!" Sayo exclaimed after the swords stopped expanding before she pushed one of the golems onto the elucidator doing nothing to said golem "Drat I was hoping that would have done something."
"Sayo, where are the enemies I can't see!" Atlas shouted as he got hit by one of the Jormungandr being sent in Sayos direction.
A short distance away Tethu covered his eyes to protect his vision "Kirito's gone nuclear." Tethu said as he barely parried a blow from Jormungandr. "Kirito hurry it up."
When the light faded it revealed a large hole in the field as everyone blinked the spots from their eyes. A large clawed hand appeared on the rim of the hole as a large black dragon stood his eyes glowing white and a black aura wafting like smoke surrounded him. Extending his right hand the Elucidator shook itself loose from where it was standing and flew into his hand as he raised it over head as he called Dark Repulsor to him. The Jormungandr in front of him didn't stand a chance as first the Elucidator broke the magic barrier and relieved it of one of its arms causing it to list to the side before it was cut to pieces by the two swords.
As Kirito took flight to take down the remaining Jormungandr Tethu scrambled down the hole to the unconscious Asuna. "Asuna wake up." Tethu proceeded to shake her, "Get up!" Failing to wake her up, he looked at his hands "I'm gonna regret this later, aren't I?"
After Kirito killed the Jormungandr attacking Atlas and Sayo, Sayo squealed. "He looks so awsome when can I get an awsome power up?!'
"Sayo calm down before you die of a lack of Oxygen." Atlas said as he rubbed his back.
"Well people it looks like we're almost done here." Erkunden mumbled after Kirito leapt away from where he and Luthier were. Luthier for his part was standing there with as much a look of shock as a dinosaur could have.
"Welp glad thats finally over with." Diana said as she stretched her wings allowing the two in her vesinity to here a few joints popping.
Preacher breathed in the fresh air as he said "Ah smell that fresh ack." He gagged as he crumpled to the ground Preacher coughed and wheezed Diana turned her head to look at him in curiosity.
Sinon was standing some distance away as she looked at him. "What is wrong with you?"
Preacher waved his hand infront of his face "Diana! Air! Flap! I beg you! Vision going dark!" Than he grabbed his throat and fainted.
"I think he's faking it." Sinon said.
Reaching her talon towards Preacher Daina poked him, then held him up and said "Naw I think he's actually fainted."
"Sinnon! Took you long enough. You want some popcorn?" Smith said holding out a bag of popcorn.
Sinon cried out in suprise as she backhanded Smith. Scattering popcorn everywhere.
Elsewhere on the battlefield Logan was looking around trying to figure out where Smith went.
"You spilt the popcorn!" Smith lamented before brightening and merrily asking. "So who're your friends? I don't think we've been introduced."

"How could you let this happen?!" Chromwell yelled as he attempted to strangle Sheffield whom deftly evaded him.
Sheffield and Chromwell stilled when a shadow appeared over the pair looking up they saw a humanoid wolf easily twice their height standing over them growling with teeth bared. Asuna grabbed Chromwell's left wrist and brought it to her nose as she sniffed the ring on it a vague memory playing through her head as as she pulled the ring on it off his finger.
"You are coming with me." The gravelly but unmistakably female voice stated to the frozen man dangling in her grip. Chromwell for his came to his senses and started looking around for Sheffield whom had made her escape While Asuna was occupied.
Some distance away Tethu lay on the ground twitching. "Ouch that hurt, but Tethu you have to admit, it was worth it. They were so soft."
Said soft ears twitched as Asuna gave a sidelong glare in Tethu's direction.
"What, they're so cute and adorable! I couldn't resist! And with you out and all." Tethu yelled before mumble as he looked sideways wringing his hands. Before grabbing his head in frustration "Oh come on Tethu, its not like she can hear you. Uh, yeah, she can. How? she's so far away? She's high on Kirito juice. Yeah, you're dead."
"Well now that was anticlimactic." Smith said as he looked over the battlefield.
"What?" Sinon asked her head slightly tilted and ears twitching.
"Do you want to get something to eat? I'm craving chicken. I found this recipe for buttered chicken I want to try." Smith said.
Sinon gave him a glare impatiently waiting for an explanation.
"So I was looking through some of my old recipe books and… Oh you meant about Kirito supersizing himself and offing the competition. Anyways so what you do is take the chicken and ma-."
"I'm getting why dad has no patience with you and your dad." Sinon growled as she grabbed Smiths collar in her fist in one hand and brandishing her claws with the other. "What do you mean anticlimactic?"
"Exactly what what I said. Don't you agree, I mean we were having trouble and having to consider retreating then Kirito over there, he goes and gets a powerboost, ending the fight in a few moments." Smith explained.
Sinon growled as she retracted her claws and started shaking in anger at Smith's nonchalance.
"Sinon you can go wolverine on him later, we need to get back to the ark." Diana said sighing as Preacher started stirring.
Preacher gasped as he opened his eyes "I'm alive! I saw the light! But I resisted, I can't let my child be fatherless before they're even born."
"And we wouldn't want that, I can only imagine what kind of hellspawn they would be otherwise, so congratulations on not dying." Smith said.
"You know you're right. By the way Smith its been so long, how've you been?" Preacher asked
"I'm doing well, you know trying to not get myself killed and all, especially seeing as my cute fiance's right over there." Smith pointed to Sinnon. "By the way, I seem to have misplaced your name, mind giving me a refresher?"
"Sigh, of course you forgot." As Preacher got up he continued, "The names Preacher." As Preacher looked around seeing what was going on, Tethu landed next to him. "Hey Teth… what happened to you?"
"Oh not much, on a side note don't ever anger a werewolf." Tethu said off hand.
"I didn't know Asuna was a werewolf." Sinon observed looking toward the other side of the battlefield to where Asuna was coming toward them carrying an unconscious Cromwell.
"Oh, if there is someone to blame. Blame Kirito." Tethu than looked at the group. "Oh, and Kirito got older."
"Yes I see must be a side effect of what allowed for him to take out those mechs." Sinon as the rest of the people from their side converged on their location.

After some explanations and orders given the ark was brought down till it was hovering at ground level allowing everyone that had remained on the ground to be teleported into the control room of the ark.
"Uh, who are they?" Miura pointed to the tag alongs.
"Well, we invited him. Forcefully." Preacher said as he kicked a tied up Cromwell whom groaned in pain.
"I kinda knew that, but what about them?" Miura asked glaring.
"Oh those guys." Luthier said pointing a talon at the fae.
"Thought it'd be fun, after all it's not every day you get to explore Laputa." Smith said.
"Smith you know this thing isn't a castle." Sinon said with an overly sweet smile.
"You've got three towers, a keep in the middle, a garden to support the residents, and a wall that protects it from the outside. Sounds like a castle to me. So, wheres the rest of them? Aren't they supposed to be like a net around the planet? I'm pretty sure it's bad for one to go missing." Smith said.
"Smith they aren't a safety net they are literally what they are called." Erkunden sighed rubbing his temples. "Your dad was enough of a headache please try to be less of one than he is."
"When'd you meet Dad? Wait, no, where can I find a wyvern egg so I can hatch it and name it Alduin?" Smith asked.
Erkunden sighed before answering. "During the late 1980s when the 'war' with the mutants was going on." He started air quoting war. "And no this is the wrong ark for wyverns. And why would you want to name a wyvern after the world eater?"
"Just ignore him please I've been listening to him for the last couple weeks I would like to take a break from his incessant yammering." Logan said dragging a hand down his face before heading over to what looked like a buffet table laid out. "May I?" He asked the two women behind it or rather the pregnant one sitting down the second was carrying platters over.
As if to answer Logan's question Sayo draped her left foreleg on his shoulders "Yeah, take anything off the table." Then reached for a giant leg "Though I would wholeheartedly suggest this little morsel."
"Yes good sir you may." Esna said from her very comfortable chair.
Nodding Logan got to work fueling his body.
Kirito looked around sighing glad that their side had suffered minimal casualties. "Erkunden what rank are you?" He asked the other man calmly.
"Captain sir." Erkunden answered.
"Well Captain take us home." Kirito ordered.
"Aye sir." Erkunden replied as he shouted ordered for his squad to do just that.
