Chapter 51: Bonding
"Naruto found out who was doing the kidnappings and put an end to it?" Michael said as Yasaka looked through a communication mirror.
"Yes, Papa found the devils responsible." Yasaka repeated, rubbing her eyes as she was tired from the night before, staying up late due to worry about her dad. "He found a single survivor, a child of one of the women who was kidnapped. He is going to raise her, due to the fact she has no one left."
"Naruto is a kind soul. May he never be corrupted." Michael said in relief, a bright smile on his face as he did. "If that is all, I shall take my leave, Yasaka."
Yasaka bowed in respect before the mirror showed her reflection, showing Michael ended the call.
"Phew…" She sighed as she wiped her forehead of sweat. "I'm more tired than I thought…"
Yasaka left her office and headed down the hall.
"Yasaka…"
Said kitsune turned and saw Harribel.
Harribel wore her shihakusho pants and altered jacket, showing a respectful and tasteful amount of under boob as it covered a majority of her face.
Samehada was wrapped in tight bandages and strapped to her back with a thick leather belt.
"Oh, perfect timing." Yasaka stated as she walked past Harribel, taking her lover's hand.
In confusion, Harribel was dragged into the garden.
"Sit." Yasaka asked as she pointed to a specific spot.
Harribel sat down, on her butt with her legs folded to her left as Samehada lay next to her.
"Aah~" Yasaka sighed with a smile as she laid down, head resting on Harribel's thighs.
"YASAKA!" Harribel shouted in embarrassment.
Yasaka's smile grew as she turned on her side and looked up at Harribel lovingly.
"Be a good pillow and let me rest for a little while." She said before closing her eyes.
Yasaka's chest rose and fell with the ease of her breathing, which Harribel watched with a blush on her caramel skin cheeks.
Harribel looked around her, her gills filtering oxygen as she nervously did.
'I guess I can…' She thought as she reached out and carefully rubbed Yasaka's head.
A purr came from Yasaka's throat, her ears flattening backwards on her head as she did, her tails swaying softly at the affection Harribel was administering.
'So- cute~' Harribel thought lovingly as she continued to pet Yasaka's head.
She looked to the sky, not stopping her affection.
The garden in which they resided was one very special to Yasaka.
'She told me once that the flowers here,' Harribel thought as she looked around, taking notice of all the various types that weren't native to Kyoto. 'Were planted by Lady Tamamo and Naruto.'
"Oh, there you are."
Harribel looked up and saw Akasha, wearing a teal sundress that had white and silver lace as she carried a small bag.
"Akasha." Harribel greeted politely as Akasha entered the garden and sat next to Harribel.
"She is really cute when she sleeps." Akasha said as she opened her bag, pulling out a jug of water and cups.
"Yes, Yasaka is." Harribel replied bashfully.
As Captain of the Guard and a member of the Seven Swordsmen of Kyoto, Harribel kept a tough girl persona to her workers and others.
But when it came to Yasaka, Naruto and a few others, she would let it down and be more relaxed.
"Here." Akasha said as she handed Harribel a cup of water.
Using her free hand, Harribel unzipped her jacket enough to free her mouth before accepting the cup.
"Thank you." She said politely before drinking the water. "Fresh."
"And cold." Akasha said as she drank hers, smiling brightly that her pink hair and pale skin seemed to glow.
Harribel blushed at Akasha's cuteness.
'I can't look… its blinding!' Harribel thought as she closed her eyes.
*Poke*
Harribel snapped her head down to see Yasaka with a shit eating grin looking at her as she poked Harribel's exposed muscular stomach.
*Poke*
"Don't!" Harribel shouted, moving to grab Yasaka's wrist.
Yasaka winced as the cup smacked her in the forehead, her wrist being grabbed tightly in Harribel's as Harribel visibly panted in embarrassment.
Unlike Yasaka and Akasha, Harribel had a visibly muscular body, which she was proud of. But seeing how soft and cute Akasha and Yasaka's skin was, Harribel was envious.
"I'm sorry." Harribel apologized as she realized what happened.
"Don't worry…" Yasaka started to say before her cheek was pinched and pulled by Akasha. "OW, AKWASHWA!"
"You should not poke people, Yasaka." Akasha stated sternly with a pout as she pulled Yasaka's cheek tighter. "Harribel has told you she is self-conscious about her stomach.
"OKWAY, I'M SHORRY, SHARRIBEL!" Yasaka stated loudly before her cheek was released.
Harribel chuckled, covering her face with her jacket before she bellowed out a laugh.
The kitsune and vampire soon joined in the laughter.
As it settled down, Akasha was leaning into Harribel, who leaned back, as Yasaka lay across Harribel's lap.
Harribel was rubbing Yasaka's head as Akasha rubbed her tails.
Their free hands all holding each other, all with a soft smile as they rested in the garden.
Meanwhile…
"Alright, Zuko. You're dismissed." Naruto said as he and Zuko arrived at Castle Dracula, which resided on the outskirts of Kyoto.
Naruto watched Zuko bow and vanish in a swirl of leaves.
His attention returned to the ancient vampire castle as he pressed his hand against it.
With enough force, the large door creaked open.
The once clean foyer was cold and coated in dust and cobwebs.
In the hundred plus years since Akasha stepped down, the castle stood abandoned, unused as all the books and scientific equipment that was needed had been removed when Akasha moved in permanently.
At Akasha's request, the castle had been allowed to stay, not sealed away like Naruto had thought she would have wanted.
Alone, Naruto closed the door and walked up the large stairs, wincing every so often as his feet were still in pain.
'Lucoa may have healed me last night, but she didn't do a great job.' Naruto thought as he made it to the top of the stairs.
He turned left, walking in silence as he turned on the ancient lamps Vlad had created with electricity.
The dark castle was illuminated once again for the first time in over a hundred years.
Once Naruto was confident with the lighting, he sat down at the top step, smiling sadly at all the memories he shared here.
'Adrian, Lisa, Vlad, Grandpa, Tamamo.' Naruto thought as memories of his friends and family who had passed flooded his mind.
Shaking his head, Naruto took a meditative stance and closed his eyes.
Upon opening them, Naruto was deep within the Tailed Beast Psyche, with his tenants all present.
"So, we are going to talk about the little rabbit?" Kurama questioned, lazily laying on his side.
"Yes," Naruto replied as he stayed standing as the beasts were sitting. "She has tailed beast chakra, that much is sure. So, she can only be trained by us."
"She has my chakra specifically, last night's accident showed that is a no brainer." Son chimed in. "So, I will take responsibility and help you train young Zest, Naruto."
"Much appreciated old friend." Naruto thanked with an honest smile.
"Naruto…" Shukaku said in a calm, worried tone, which was unlike him as he wore a face full of concern. "I am worried."
"About what?" Naruto asked as he turned to look at Shukaku, a shocked expression on his face.
"I am… what's with those looks?" Shukaku asked as he noticed the same shared looks of shock on the faces of his siblings and Naruto.
"You are not cackling like a lunatic." Matatabi stated.
"You are talking in a calm manner." Isobu added.
"You are being polite." Son gasped.
"You are soft spoke." Kokuo continued.
"You aren't yelling." Saiken mumbled.
"You are acting strange." Chomei chided.
"You aren't planning anything, right?" Gyuki inquired.
"You are being different." Kurama scoffed.
"Are you okay?" Naruto asked in concern.
"FUCK ALL OF YOU!" Shukaku bellowed, turning away as he crossed his arms before his chest. "FINE, I'LL KEEP MY CONCERNS TO MYSELF YOU FUCKS!"
"Ah, there is the Shukaku we know and love." Naruto and the rest of the tailed beasts sighed in relief.
"FUCK YOU!"
"Anyway, what are you concerned with, Shukaku?" Chomei asked as their voices echoed through out their shared space.
"Well, I had been doing some thinking…"
"PFFFT, for once." Kurama chided with a smirk.
Shukaku lunged at Kurama, intending to strangle the fox with his own tails, but was pushed back by Naruto with a swift Shinra Tensei.
"ANYWAY," Shukaku grunted in irritation as he scowled. "I am worried about the devil douche who had our chakra."
"What about him?" Gyuki asked in confusion. "Naruto confirmed he was dead, so why be worried about a dead man?"
"Because what if he had partners we didn't see? What if there are still remnants of our chakra still out there!" Shukaku replied in an angered tone.
The tailed beasts and Naruto went silent, all contemplating the chances of this possibility.
"If it is true, and there are others out there with our chakra, we will deal with them." Kurama stated while he rolled his eyes.
"Yes, we will." Naruto stated as he looked at the tailed beasts. "But we need to make sure Zest is taken care of."
Gyuki chuckled.
"What's so funny, Gyuki?" Naruto asked, quirking an eyebrow at the ox's laughter.
"Oh, I'm sure its just you looking out for her, Naruto." Gyuki panted out, his laughter not ending.
"What does that mean?"
"Oh, you know." Gyuki laughed. "That Norse prophecy. 'A tan beauty'."
Confused, Naruto was going to reply dumbly, but his eyes widened in remembrance.
Flashback…
"Naruto, this is the Manifestation of Prophecies." Odin informed Naruto. "When I collect them, I put them inside it, storing them for further use later on. So, Proph, is there anything you can tell Naruto concerning his future?"
M.o.P. hummed as it faced Naruto, who sat back down and didn't look impressed.
"I don't have to know anything about my future." Naruto informed. "If I know what will happen…"
M.o.P. went stiff, their eyes and mouth glowing orange before it let out a haunting wail.
"For the child whose palms bear the Sun and Moon, life as you know shall change." M.o.P. stated in an eerie tone. "Enemies thought defeated shall arise, your kingdom shall live, blood not spilled. In turn, a tan beauty awaits at the end of the road."
Naruto blinked as M.o.P. blinked, the orange glow vanishing.
Flashback End…
"That doesn't mean anything!" Naruto replied with pink dusting his cheeks.
"Right~"
Meanwhile…
Zest stood still, arms out, as Hilda took measurements for the young girl.
"Okay, we have the measurements." Hilda said as she rolled up the measuring tape after writing them down.
"Uhm, what are those for?" Zest asked as she looked at Hilda in childish curiosity.
"We are going to get you some clothing." Hilda said as she stood up straight, taking Zest's hand. "This way you can have something that isn't big on you."
"Where is Sensei and Lucoa?" Zest asked as she walked beside the vampire.
"Naruto, I don't know, but Lucoa was gone when we woke up this morning." Hilda replied unsurely.
"I was out stretching."
Hilda and Zest looked up and saw Lucoa… in less than flattering clothing.
She wore a sleeping yukata so loose that her front was exposed. Her sash was thankfully covering her dignity.
"Lucoa, that isn't appropriate!" Hilda nearly shouted as she covered Zest's eyes.
"Well, she is going to see it again when we bathe, so why be concerned with nudity out of the bath?" Lucoa laughed out as she fixed her outfit enough before Hilda removed her hands from Zest's eyes.
"That isn't the point." Hilda replied in deadpan.
"SO, where you two going?" Lucoa asked as she watched Hilda and Zest walk past her.
"Clothes shopping…"
"Give me a minute, I want to go!" Lucoa stated as she vanished and then reappeared, wearing a rainbow kimono with gold woven in it with her hair put up in pins.
"Wow…" Zest said in amazement. "You're so pretty, Lucoa."
"Oh, stop you're going to make me blush." Lucoa sang out as she cupped her face in embarrassment.
"Will I grow up to be like her?" Zest asked Hilda as the three of them walked out of the compound.
"Physically, hopefully, mentally, no." Hilda said with a smirk as Lucoa gasped.
"Rude." Lucoa whined.
Hilda chuckled as Zest was confused.
'What was the joke?' Zest pondered as they made their way into town.
Evening…
"Today is the Day of Satur~ Today is the Day of Satur~" Yasaka sang as she walked through the compound hallways with a large smile and pep in her step.
"What has you so happy?" Harribel asked with a small smile, already knowing the answer from Yasaka's constant repeating of the same phrase.
"It's the Day of Satur." Yasaka said with stars in her eyes. "That means we get to go to Nekoya!"
Harribel shrugged with a sigh.
"True, but you have paperwork…"
Several Shadow Clones of Yasaka appeared, all saddened as they trudged of Yasaka's office, leaving Yasaka smiling like a child.
"Okay, I guess we can go to Nekoya." Harribel sighed in defeat.
Yasaka lead the way as Harribel followed her girlfriend.
"Akasha~ we are going to Nekoya, want to join?" Yasaka asked her other girlfriend.
"Oh, I'd love to, but I am busy right now." Akasha apologized as she was swamped with paperwork.
She was the head of Foreign Affairs, so Akasha had to oversee many things from trade to medical aid.
"Oh, boo." Yasaka whined, her ears flattening.
"But you could take Zest, bond with her a little." Akasha pointed out since the three of them had not been able to bond with Zest alone since she was constantly around Lucoa, Hilda, and Naruto.
"Oh, you're right." Yasaka said, her hand pressing against her palm as she remembered this.
Akasha giggled at Yasaka's antics as she and Harribel left, allowing Akasha to sigh in annoyance.
"Paperwork will never end…!" She groaned in anguish.
Training Ground…
"Papa~" Yasaka called out as she and Harribel reached the training ground.
"Hm?" Naruto's eyes opened as he looked toward Yasaka.
Zest was shakily walking up a tree, her knees wobbling visibly in the orange light of the sunset as Lucoa and Hilda stood nearby in case she fell.
"Yes, Yasaka?" Naruto asked as he stood up, walking to Yasaka and hugging her.
Recipricating the hug, Yaska pulled back and stared into her dad's eyes.
"Papa, Zest has been doing well in her training, right?" Yasaka asked as she glanced over at the small rabbit, who slipped a few inches before she fell, being caught by Lucoa.
"Yeah, she is making progress." Naruto said with a proud smile. "Though she takes after me… not in a bad way but I mean in how she has a lot of chakra, so this kind of training is much harder due to her lack of control for now."
Harribel smirked, covering her mouth to hide it as Yasaka laughed in Naruto's face, making him frown.
"Anyway, since she has been doing well, and with today being the Day of Satur, maybe I could take Zest to Nekoya for a well deserved treat?" Yasaka asked Naruto in a 'matter of fact' tone.
Naruto cupped his chin in thought for two second before smiling with a nod.
"That makes sense, and it could be a good motivator." Naruto said as he nodded again in agreement. "Sure, go ahead. Hey Zest!"
Zest, who was again walking up the tree, leaned backward (Causing her long hair to follow gravity) to look at Naruto, who appeared to be upside down to her.
"Yes, Sensei?" she called out.
Naruto motioned for her to come to him, to which Zest jumped from the tree, landing on her knees before springing forward, nearly tripping, to stand before him and Yasaka.
"Zest, Yasaka wants to take you somewhere as a reward for your training." Naruto explained to the young child.
Zest's eyes lit up as she looked at Yasaka.
"Really?" Zest asked in anticipation and giddiness.
"Yes, Zest." Yasaka replied before she felt the air get knocked out of her from Zest tackle/hugging her tightly. "No problem…"
"When do we leave?" Zest asked with stars in her eyes.
"Right now, would be good a good time, but you should change into something clean." Harribel informed, pointing out that Zest's Gi was filthy.
As the three left, Naruto smiled as he turned to look at Lucoa and Hilda.
"I think it is time I go on another journey, this time with Zest and train her as we go." Naruto told them.
"That makes sense, but it isn't just going to be the two of you." Hilda stated as she took Naruto's left arm and held it close to her chest.
"It will be you, Zest, Hilda and me on this journey." Lucoa continued as she held Naruto's right arm to her chest.
"What about the school and advising Yasaka?" Naruto asked as he snaked his arms around their waists.
"I can have someone take over as Principal." Hilda replied as she smiled lecherously as she felt Naruto's hand grab her ass.
Lucoa giggled as Naruto grabbed her ass.
"And Yasaka will have Akasha and some others to help if things get difficult." Lucoa replied as she pushed into Naruto's chest, her breasts flattening against his body. "And with them gone for the day…"
Naruto kissed Lucoa, breaking away to kiss Hilda.
"I guess it will be better to have you too to help with Zest." Naruto gasped out as he separated from Hilda's lips, a thick string of saliva connecting them.
"You going to set us up and leave us to dry, or are you going to do a thorough cleaning?" Lucoa asked in a seductive manner.
Naruto smirked as he picked both women up with ease.
"Of course, I wouldn't leave you two like this." Naruto stated as he whisked them to their shared room.
Meanwhile…
In the Restaurant to Another World, Zest, Harribel, and Yasaka sat at the table.
"Here you go." Aletta said as she placed the food down.
Harribel had a large bowl of beef stew.
Yasaka had a bowl of ramen.
And before Zest was a large chocolate parfait.
Slowly, Zest reached out with her spoon and slowly carved out an amount of ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.
Bringing the frozen treat to her lips, Zest slowly ate it.
Her eyes snapped open to reveal giant stars.
'DELICIOUS!' she thought as she started to scarf down the dessert.
Two Days Later…
"Alright, everything is packed." Naruto said as he sealed the last of their provisions away.
"I'm ready." Lucoa called out as she finished her own packing.
"So am I." Hilda replied as she finished.
"I… I think I am…" Zest replied as she was not fully packed.
"You need this and this." Lucoa said as she added a few more items. "And that is all dear."
"Okay, Lucoa." Zest replied as she closed her bag before putting it on her back, securing it tightly.
The group of four walked out and headed to the gate.
Zest witnessed dozens of yokai, young and old, bowing and paying respect to Naruto, Hilda, and Lucoa.
Once at the gate, Naruto filled out some paperwork with the guardsmen.
"Alright, everything is in order, Lord Naruto." One of them stated as they filed it away. "Stay safe all of you."
"Hmph, aren't we always?" Naruto joked with a smile.
With a hearty laugh, Naruto turned and the group left Kyoto.
Zest couldn't help but feel anxious, but her excitement could not be described as she walked beside the adults.
'I can't wait to see what they teach me.' Zest thought with a very Naruto-like attitude and smile as she ran ahead of them.
"Hey, squirt, don't run off!" Naruto called out.
Zest ignored Naruto, only to crumble when a sudden weight appeared on her shoulders.
"Zest, you need to listen to Ashura." Ophis said to the child she was sitting on.
Zest whimpered in embarrassment as Ophis kept her in place as Naruto, Hilda, and Lucoa caught up to them.
Ophis never lost her genuine smile, even with the pain wreaking havoc in her body.
Chapter 51, DONE!
Alright, alright, alright. Time skips galore the next several chapters. What will be the same as the original, what will be changed?
