On the Night Of Eternal Darkness, Spyro must prevent Gaul, The Ape King, from resurrecting the Dark Master. I do not own the Legend Of Spyro series. I only own my OCs. Whirlwind fulfill Cynder’s role in this story (Ronald x Cynder, Ignitus x Aquafa, Terrador x Minerallayas, Liefvos x Siltia). Please do not read this until you read The Legend Of Spyro: A Shining New Beginning.

23. Chapter 23

The Executioner got destroyed.

Then Spyro walked twenty four steps forward.

Then Spyro turned right and walked two steps forward and then turned left.

"Well, well. It appears we are amongst greatness. This little dragon has defeated everything we've thrown at him." Sniff said.

The crowd groaned because they wanted more.

"But fret not, oh, faithful fans. Tonight, we have a special bonus match." Sniff said.

Then Spyro made his angry face.

"Cool, a bonus match!" Sparx said.

Then Spyro turned left and then turned his head to the left.

"Spyro the Dragon… versus… the former queen of conquer herself… Whirlwind!" Sniff said as the gate opened and then Whirlwind walked two steps forward.

Then Spyro stopped making an angry face and then shook his head and then opened his mouth in shock.

Then Spyro closed his mouth.

Then Whirlwind walked to the end of the ledge and then jumped off the ledge and then walked across the bridge and got on the Battle Arena.

"AAH! I told you she was evil. Hehe, look, my eye's twitching again." Sparx said as Spyro looked at him with an annoyed face as Whirlwind walked across the bridge.

Then Whirlwind walked sixteen steps forward.

Then Whirlwind turned left and walked two steps forward and then turned right and then right again.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind looked at each other.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind started walking around.

The Scavengers in the crowd seats of the Fellmuth Arena cheered as Spyro and Whirlwind walked around.

"Just like old times, huh, Spyro?" Whirlwind asked as she and Spyro finished walking around in a circle but kept walking.

"Whirlwind, I'm not going to fight you." Spyro said as he and Whirlwind still kept walking.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind stopped walking when they were lined up with the Fellmuth Arena's entrance and then turned the rest of their bodies to each other.

"Relax. I'm just trying to put on a show for the crowd while we figure out what to do." Whirlwind said.

"Don't trust her. She wants to eat me!" Sparx said as Spyro looked at him with an annoyed face.

Then Spyro heard some roaring and looked at the sky.

Then Shadow Wings flew by and dropped some bombs on the Battle Arena, making a dust cloud appeared in the arena.

"W… w-what's happening?" Spyro asked.

Then Spyro coughed two times.

Then Sparx flew off.

"I want out… I want out… I want in… I want in…" Sparx said, changing his mind to go out after seeing two Shadow Wings and evading them.

Then Spyro walked eight steps forward.

"Get away from me! Help!" Whirlwind said as a Shadow Wing grabbed her and then flew off with her.

"Whirlwind!!" Spyro said.

Then Spyro started to run, preparing to fly after Whirlwind, but was stopped by Sparx.

"Spyro, this way! There's an opening!" Sparx said.

Then Spyro turned left and ran on the bridge and then jumped on the ledge and exited the Fellmuth Arena.
