Scott was up rooted from his home in Belgium and moved to France with his mother to live with his step-dad (set in 1984). Scott's step-dad is abusive and hates Scott. What's more is that Scott's mother is being played for her money. whilst running away from the village bullies, he makes some unusual friends in an unusual place.
