Of course, living in the Slums means it’s only a matter of time before ShinRa’s efforts to restart the War with Wutai boil over and affect innocent lives.

Cloud and Tifa Strife, now in their seventies live out their retirement in a small house in the countryside where they have a farm close by spent with their life savings. Although friends have come and gone, the two have always had each other, and always will, ever since the promise that first bound their hearts together.

In a world where people with wings exist, they are shunned from the world. Humanity looks down at these unique people as monsters, and think that it's better if the winged people were locked up. One day at the facility, where the winged kind are prisoners, a young blond boy is brought in to join them. But he has a wing different from the rest, a more demon-like wing than angelic.

Slightly AU. The events at the Nibelheim reactor happen differently for Sephiroth. Four years later a mysterious man with silver hair and mako eyes is living in the Sector 5 Slums and getting on Aerith's nerves.

Summon Materia is based on legends and real creatures. The real ones are out in the world freely, like chocobos and moogles. Even the gods themselves, but they are far more hidden. Though for Cloud, he just happens to know one of them rather personally. Why, you may ask? Turns out that Odin just happens to be his dad.

AU. Tifa and Aerith, a loving wedded couple, decide to finally make a family by adopting a child.

There was a promise he made to her under the stars from their childhood, one they both equally cherished. If she was ever trapped or in trouble, he'd come back to save her just so she could see him again. She could do the same saving if need be.

Tifa was used to straddling the line between the two worlds, whether it was as a detective by day or a bartender by night. AU. Cloud Strife, a getaway driver for the Lockhart crime family, is only in it to settle a score that goes back decades. But even as savvy and icy as he is, he doesn't realize how deep it all runs. And he has no idea he's about to fall hard for the girl who first caught his eyes years ago, who he determined he would never give a second thought. All he wants is to drive.

Things are looking up for Cadet Cloud Strife. He actually has friends, unlike in Nibelheim, and now General Sephiroth of all people wants to train him personally. If only he could figure out why everybody keeps asking him if he remembers. Or: A Time Travel Fix-it where everybody but Cloud remembers at first. Some are more subtle than others.
