On the Night Of Eternal Darkness, Spyro must prevent Gaul, The Ape King, from resurrecting the Dark Master. I do not own the Legend Of Spyro series. I only own my OCs. Whirlwind fulfill Cynder’s role in this story (Ronald x Cynder, Ignitus x Aquafa, Terrador x Minerallayas, Liefvos x Siltia). Please do not read this until you read The Legend Of Spyro: A Shining New Beginning.

80. Chapter 80

Spyro was flying in the Throne Room, heading to the floor.

Then Spyro landed on the floor.

Then Spyro started walking.

"Where are we?" Spyro asked.

"The better question is… what's that smell?" Sparx said.

"Hahahahahaha! The purple whelpling!" A voice said as the poison magic lit up the area and revealed Gaul on the throne.

"It's fitting that you should be here tonight… as we bear witness to a new dawn of a new age… and the failure of your pathetic race of dragons." Gaul said.

"I wouldn't miss it, Gaul." Spyro said.

"Then please… have a seat." Gaul said, standing up and pointing his staff to Spyro.

Then Gaul shot dark magic at Spyro, disabling his elements, and making him lie down.

Then Sparx went to an Ape.

"Hahahahaha! Foolish dragon… you are no match!" Gaul said, walking four steps forward as he said, "Foolish dragon…," to Spyro.

Then Spyro got back up.

"I've made it this far, haven't I?" Spyro asked.

"Yes, you have been quite elusive. Had I but known that all it would take would be your miserable amity for Whirlwind." Gaul said as he walked four steps as he said the first sentence.

"Psst, what amity?" Sparx asked to an Ape.

Then Sparx turned around.

"How tragic really…" Gaul said.

"…that she should be the one to destroy you!" Gaul said as Whirlwind attacked Spyro and dragged him across the floor and then attacked Spyro again and then flew off and then turned around and then landed in front of Spyro.

"Aaaaahhh! The nightmare never ends!" Sparx said.

"You don't need to do this, Whirlwind." Spyro said, standing up.

"Just like old times, huh, Spyro?" Whirlwind asked as she walked a quarter way around Spyro.

"Same as last time. Line me up with his staff." Whirlwind said to Spyro.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind walked around until Whirlwind was lined up with Gaul's staff.

Then Whirlwind charged and flew and then Spyro moved out of her way and Whirlwind flew to Gaul to try to grab Gaul's staff but Gaul grabbed her with his left hand.

"This isn't over." Gaul said.

Then Gaul threw Whirlwind and she hit a wall and then landed on the ground and Spyro was shocked.

Then the Big Apes were getting ready to attack Spyro until they were stopped by Gaul.

"Don't touch him! The whelpling is mine!" Gaul said.

The next chapter is a boss battle
