Pyrrha returned, seeing two of the mercs dead and the last one screaming answers in a pool of his own urine. "Please, please I was never told I swear just don't kill me"

Pyrrha's face grew dour as she saw Jaune go to level his blaster on the man only to have it yanked from his hand. "You are NOT executing an unarmed man" she half growled at him making Jaune turn to her and almost go for his second gun before he seemed to realize that she was right.

Letting his frustration and anger pass he took a moment and realized he had senselessly killed two men, in his mind he told himself that it was so he could get his answers. But in his heart he knew he was angry and lashed out. Storming off in the direction of the ship Pyrrha watched him go worried for him. He was flirting with the dark side and he didn't seem to either care or understand it.

Turning back to the mercenary she decided to try being the carrot to Jaune's stick. "I just saved your life. Please say something that makes it worth the effort"

The mercenary seemed to buy the bluff and he urgently fished around in his pockets before pulling out. He handed it to Pyrrha and she was glad to see that it would be vital. It was the credit chip he had been paid in. useless to many people. But Pyrrha had a banking Clan official who owed her master a number of favors for the number of times he had absorbed some debt the official had collected. The poor man probably thought he was paying her off, but she was fine with that for now taking the chip and saying.

"The nearest town is 20 klicks to the east, I suggest you run and keep running before the mandalorian justice system catches up to you." and he did exactly that running of almost stumbling over himself a few times before Pyrrha turned back to see Jaune standing there with a scowl on his face.

"So what is the going rate for a Jedi now" he asked, referring to what seemed to be a bribe.

"The price is evidence against our phatom threat," she said, holding up the credit chip.

"The banking clan will never turn over the names of their clients." he wisely pointed out.

Feeling a smuger than she knew she was due grin on her face she sauntered over to him and said. "Maybe not to you but I have ways to get these things done" she said.

Jaune didn't seem to believe her but he figured it wouldn't hurt to let her look. Returning to the ship he sent Tai a message that he had removed the problem and was returning to the arena world.

"Jedi, do something for me" Jaune said, not turning to look at Pyrrha.

"What is it?" she asked wiser than to just blindly agree to things.

"If I die, I want you to get to the bottom of this, I know my mother won't want any Jedi in the system and the new mandalore may not either. But please try, Yang deserves that much."

Pyrrha nodded somberly as Jaune nodded back. "Thank you." he stopped when he noticed how what he just said sounded and explained. "I have no plans to die, but I am too aware of mortality to assume I can't"

"Do you have a plan to beat Adam, nobody else has?" Pyrrha asked. "I have seen a warrior like him before, it took me, master qui gon, your father, and master dooku to defeat him."

"I do have a plan but it is best kept a secret" Jaune said.

Pyrrha wanted to know more but she got the alert and she had a signal so she sent the message and the data from the credit chip to Master Dooku's contact and updated master Qui Gon of what she found.

They got back to the compound late just as Ren was pulling in with a sleeping Nora and Glynda in the back seat. Pyrrha was about to ask about that when she noticed the ship in the other lot was the duchess' ship. Something big was going on since house Winchester, and Belladonna were also present. Whatever was going on Pyrrha had a new found desire to know.

hey everyone since my last patron left I am going to be taking a little longer on these going forward so I will be able to do better work on them.
