Author's Note: Three special characters will appear in this, but I do not own them

Earlier in the day

While Cinder had gotten onto the ship to head to Beacon, four women met up in a warehouse. One had black hair with red tips, another had naturally white hair, the third had black hair...and cat ears, and the final woman had blonde hair.

"Why did you call us here, sis?" The blonde asked.

The woman in a recognizable red cloak showed them the footage of Cinder's fight the night before. "We may have a slight problem, ladies. Torchwick told me that he and Junior's men ran into this young lady."

The other three watched the fight to the end. "She's good." The woman with white hair said.

"She's definitely had training." The Faunus said. "Perhaps instead of a problem..."

"...she could be an asset?" The blonde finished. "I doubt she'd want to be part of our collective, Blake."

"I never thought I'd say this, but Yang has a point. Besides, we agreed to keep our little group small." The white haired woman said.

"Weiss, you run one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world, Blake leads a terrorist group, and Yang has her own army of mercenaries." The black and red clad woman said.

"And you, Ruby, have a global criminal empire. You even have Lil Miss Malachite in your pocket." Yang said.

"I think Ruby's point is our collective is anything but small." Blake said.

"Thank you, Blake." Ruby said. "Still, I agree with Weiss and Yang. Let's all just hope this kid doesn't become a problem."

The other three women nodded.

The giant ship landed at Beacon Academy and Cinder got off with the rest of the students. Once off, the future Huntress marveled at the sight of the school.

"Wow...Beacon Academy..." She said then looked around at the different students. Among some of the students was a young man with spiked up raspberry red hair and dark purple eyes wearing a lavender jacket, light black jeans, and boots.

A girl with viridian green hair in a ponytail and turquoise eyes was wearing a light grey blouse with vertical lines and a darker cyan design down the middle that had five golden buttons on each side, under an overjacket that was also grey and cyan with puffed sleeves and a black-and-blue sailor collar while the front tied into a ribbon under a metal clamp holding the jacket together, grey finger- and backless gloves, and under her blouse was a black skirt with purple triangular designs similar to her collar that also alternated the colors of the circles in and out of her pattern while under that were dark patterned stockings, showing off parts of her thighs that were uncovered by her black shorts she wore under the skirt, which went all the way into her black slippers.

A third girl had violet eyes with matching hair to her shoulder blades, but she had it under the white scarf she had around her neck while also wearing a knee length purple and black sweater, grey stockings, and white boots while on her head was a white pointed hat with a purple flower band on it.

There was also another guy who had grey hair and matching eyes, wearing a partially zipped grey and black two tone jacket, a single notched belt, rerebraces and vambraces on his arms, black jeans, and boots.

Finally, there was a girl with light mint green and dark red eyes a thin cropped top that showed her stomach, white and brown pants, and heels.

The red haired guy had a strange device on the back of his jacket with four different colored circles, one light blue, one red, one brown, and one green. The viridian haired girl had her weapon hung on her back. It was split into two limbs that were closed, showing it was inactive. The girl with the hat had a shotgun attached to her belt. The grey haired guy had no visible weapons on him while the green haired girl had a pair of revolvers on her back.

As she admired the sights around her, she felt something bump into her from behind. She looked and saw it was a girl who looked like she was 4'10" with pink and brown hair, and matching eyes wearing a white cropped wide, broad tailed jacket with a pink interior, collar, a single pink button and large pink cuffs, brown pants with a dark belt that has a gray buckle and an additional narrow belt under it, a brown corset under her jacket, curved in the middle and at the bottom, exposing her hips, black beaded necklaces around her neck, black and white spat styled under the knee boots alongside black gloves. In her right hand was a parasol.

She looked up at Cinder and used sign language. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!"

Cinder shakes her head. "It's alright. What's your name?"

"Everyone, except for my parents, just calls me Neopolitan or Neo."

"Nice to meet you, Neo. My name's Cinder."

The two shook hands then walked to the amphitheater, along with the rest of the students. The grey haired guy and green haired girl walked to Cinder and Neo.

"What up, ladies? Name's Mercury, but any of you three can call me...anytime." The guy said to the three of them.

The red eyed girl simply groaned in response. "Ignore him." She said.

"You know him?" Cinder asked.

"Thankfully, no. Name's Emerald."

"I'm Cinder, and this is Neo."

Neo simply smiled and waved at Emerald then used sign language again.

Emerald didn't seem to understand.

"I use sign language to communicate because I was born mute." Cinder translated.

Emerald felt bad for Neo. "I'm sorry to hear that, Neo."

Neo shook her head and signed again.

"Don't be. I'm used to it." Cinder said. "But if you'd like, Cinder and I could teach you sign."

Emerald smiled and nodded.

"I'd be willing to learn to." Mercury said.

Neo nodded at him as the four saw a girl with blue hair walk by. She had a wolf styled helmet on her head. She had a katana strapped to her back.

Ozpin cleared his throat into a microphone, getting everyone's attention. "I'll be brief. You've come here for knowledge, and further perfect your skills to dedicate yourselves to protecting the people. But all I see is wasted energy, the need for purpose and direction. You believe knowledge will help you be free of this, but while here, you'll find that knowledge will only take you so far. The first step is up to you." He said.

"You'll all be sleeping in the ballroom tonight then go through initiation tomorrow. I suggest you be ready. Dismissed." Glynda said.

"Well, that was weird." Emerald said.

"Yeah." Cinder said.

Meanwhile, in her office of the Vale branch of the Schnee Dust Company, Weiss's desk briefly lit up twice every second. She pulled up a screen to show a woman with red hair, green eyes, and a familiar circlet. "Yes, Pyrrha?"

"Your father is demanding to contact you from Atlas, Miss Schnee." Pyrrha Nikos replied.

"It's alright. I'll handle him."

Pyrrha nodded then ended the call. Weiss answered her father's call.

"Young lady, I demand the company back!" Jacques Schnee said.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, Father. If you had it your way, the company would be in turmoil because of all those collapsed Dust mines. The board agreed that naming me the new CEO was the best idea." Weiss said, her face showing no emotion. "Thanks to me getting the new Atlesian Knights from General Ironwood and linking them to the company network, the production has rapidly increased and many in Remnant are grateful to have received the new amount of Dust the company exports. Not to mention, most of those business partners you had are consolidated after I bought them."

"Yet those scum, the Black Rose, steal much of the Dust!" Jacques countered. "If I had the company, I'd make sure those criminals never got a piece of it!"

"Did you not hear me, Father? We've produced more Dust and continue to do so."

Jacques' face was visibly turning red. "So you're going to let those criminals have MY company's Dust?!"

"No." She replied and he smirked. "I'm letting them have MY company's Dust. Don't worry, Father. The SDC's future is very secured."

"You listen to me, you entitled little brat-" Jacques said.

"I'd love to, but I have a meeting to get to. Ta-ta, Father." Weiss said with a smile so fake, it might as well have been painted on before hanging up on him in the middle of his protest. Weiss sighed then pressed Pyrrha's name on her desk. "Pyrrha, be a dear and book me a spa appointment for some time this evening."

"Right away, Miss Schnee." Pyrrha replied then set to it.

Elsewhere at a formerly abandoned military base, Yang was relaxing in her office when one of her soldiers walked to her. "Ma'am, Valkyrie and Ren have returned." He said.

"Nice. Send them in." She said.

He nodded then let in a man and a woman. The man had black hair with a pink streak in it and pale pink eyes. the woman had orange had to her shoulders and aqua colored eyes.

"How'd it go?" Yang asked.

"I slit the man's throat." Ren said.

"Then I blew the building up." Nora smirked.

"And the client?"

"Received the footage of the interior and paid us." Ren replied.

Yang smirked. "Sweet. Go get yourselves a drink."

The two nodded then left the office.

As the sun began to set, Blake looked out at Vale from a quarry outside the city.

"Having doubts, High Leader?" A man asked while walking to her.

Blake shook her head. "No, Adam. Just contemplating." She said.

"On what?" Adam Taurus asked as he stood next to her.

"Vale, Mistral, Vacuo, Atlas. Our reach is expanding more than my father could've dreamed."

"Because you have the stronger ambition. Your rallies and speeches have gotten our numbers to grow to where they are now."

Blake smiled and nodded then her smile faded and she sighed. "It's a shame Sienna didn't share the views that I did. But she couldn't accept human allies."

"Do you regret assassinating her?"

"No. And I never will."

Adam nodded then the two melted back into the trees.

In a dark corner at a club in Vale sat Ruby with two men, one of them being Torchwick. The other was a man with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Hei "Junior" Xiong walked to them with drinks. Ruby nodded at the table and Junior set them down and walked back to the bar.

"Tell me, Roman. Do you and Adam enjoy being part of this inner circle I set up with Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren?" Ruby asked.

"Why the sudden and random question, boss?" Roman asked, smoking a cigar.

"Just answer her." Jaune Arc said.

"Well, I can't speak for Taurus, but I personally enjoy it. It's a luxurious lifestyle."

"Just don't forget who gave you this life, because she has the power to take this lifestyle from you. As well as your own life." Ruby warned.

"If this is about the fiasco with that kid in crimson, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again." Roman assured her.

"See that it doesn't. Because for your failure, you yourself are gonna need to hit that shop again and drain that old man of the Dust then you're going to steal every speck of Dust in the kingdom."

"Yes, ma'am."

At Beacon, Cinder laid in her sleeping bag. Her pajamas were a white t-shirt and black shorts. Neo was laying next to her, already sound asleep. Emeralds pajamas were like Cinder's only in white and mint green. Mercury only had black pajama pants and no shirt.

All three saw the blue haired girl from earlier in the day away from everyone. She was training in hand to hand combat.

"Man, she's good." Cinder said.

Emerald and Mercury nodded.

"I wonder why she wears that helmet." Mercury thought aloud.

"Maybe she's a soldier." Emerald guessed.

"Maybe." Cinder then laid down. "Well, I'm going to sleep."

"Night." The two said then they soon joined Cinder in laying down and falling asleep.

That's chapter two

For those wondering, yes I brought three of Mark Zhang's Team SLVR, those three being Simin Megistus, Vella Moisia, and Ragora Cinarum, into this story. Rest assured, I have nothing against Lycan Arcadia, the fourth member of Team SLVR, but I wanted to have my own OC, who is a wolf Faunus herself, involved as part of team SLVR
