Chapter 5: Wing Chun Master, Leroy Smith

Both Meng and Daya proceed to attack Fahkumram which he demonstrated all of his Muay Thai moves and immediately overpowers them. Therefore, the helicopter passing by and seeing that they're here to target Rhima to get herself be eliminated. But unfortunately they're not here to assassinate Rhima but these two women who attempted to attack Jin. He soon bulks up in a red lightning to amplify his fighting abilities and decided to rescue them. Therefore, Leroy had sensed the enemy's presence and now tells her.

"Now you need some rest at the villa, young lady. Because the attackers are here."

Rhima knew they were here in Luang Prabang as she immediately runs away and Leroy demonstrated his Wing Chun moves and Rhima had watched him doing it as she continued to run. She gets down the stairs due to the mountain's altitude as one of Domon's mercenaries attempted to attack her but was saved by Jin who hits him with a Shun Ren Dan. Rhima recognizes who he is after seeing his brown eyes as she goes to the boat as it move. Jin then fending off her attackers by knocking them through the river with Spine Cracker as he thought when she leaves the boat.

Looks like she's going back to the town. Oh well, it's time for me to turn into my devil self.

He removes his yellowish-brown hooded cloak as he transforms into Devil Jin by forming both horns and wings as he immediately eliminates all of the mercenaries with his own move then follows her by flying with his black feathered wings.

At the airport terminal of Luang Prabang, Lee, Rick and Lars had arrived and seeing this province of Laos was a very quiet place.

"No wonder why this black American martial artist had taken Rhima here. It was the safety place for her to stay temporarily in vacation." Lee commented about their current trip as Alisa arrives to see them both.

"Reggie is here with me after I see him had put some things on that hotel villa."

"Well then, young man... do you know where both Jin and Rhima had been staying?" Lee asked which Reggie was terrified since Jin had already get there in his devil form as he tells him.

"There was villa in this place and it was a very quiet place. I put Jin's things on that room where Miss Rhima was currently staying."

"Hmmm, I think we should stay at the hotel which is a little bit far from where Rhima was staying. I'm sure that the other fighters are also there for her to guard." Lee suggested to stay at the hotel spot which Lars sensed their presence.

"Yeah... I think we can meet them here."

"Panganiban must be staying here to keep away from our new enemy. Now I'm getting thrilled to see her." Rick smiled nicely at her.

At the villa, Jin arrives in time before Rhima would get here to rest. But the devil markings on his forehead still remains in him due to him being half-transformed. He immediately hides from people. He reads a note given by Reggie it was 136 which is on the left side as he thought.

So she stays at the left side. Well perhaps I could sneak through before she gets here.

As the hotel receptionist is busy for the new customers, Jin quickly gets the hotel key and immediately sprint to the room in unbelievable pace as he opens the door. It was a clean room and was glad that she can stay comfort as he thought this again.

I'd like to rest on her room because it drains my energy whenever I awaken my devil powers. Perhaps I had to remove this straitjacket cause some people would think I'm a freak.

Jin then removes the straitjacket as it falls off the ground as he was seen in shirtless and then taking off his short black boots and walks on barefoot. When he looks at the mirror, he was horrified to see himself with devil markings on his forehead and chest. As he covers his mouth, not to hear by many people as he thought.

I wasn't like this when I get myself recovered at the medical facility that Lee had owned. It's probably because of my devil powers are getting out of control. The markings will disappear in a purple haze when I just reach through the town after my devil powers got unleashed.

Since his bag was there, he keeps both his boots and his jacket on the bag then he sits near on the closet then falling asleep.

At the restaurant side, Rhima was eating some Laotian noodle soup and trying to know what she had seen earlier and noticing that Jin was here to protect her.

"That hooded guy must be Jin. I know him when he keeps wearing his hood up when he wears a hoodie."

"So this is your hiding place, Rhima. We glad that we found Reggie there."

Lee appears in his golf attire while replacing his golf shoes for leather sandals and seeing that she was safe and sound.

"Mr. Lee, why are you here? What happened to my dad?" Rhima asked which Lee reassures her.

"Don't worry about Hunyo, he went to Bangkok to take his tough down training. It seems that you're pretty stressed out."

"..."

"She must be taking some heavy training in fighting against her captors." Lars arrives to see her and Rick was with him.

"Panganiban... I'm glad to see you again. Rei told me to look after you since the Black Devil organization had attacked in the Metro."

"So what's the black devil organization you were saying Lee. It sounded just like Jin's current condition when his devil side takes over him." Lars said wanted to know from Lee which he tells him.

"I already tell you before we came in this place. The name of the organization is just like Sergei Dragunov's moniker as the "White Angel of Death". But this bald man's moniker is the "Black Devil" because it was similar as how Jin takes revenge over his enemies. He likes to involve a lot of Hunyo and his family for his pettiness."

"Jin had kept his promise to follow you here, Rhima. So that he would protect you from those mercenaries sent to kill you." Lars said informing her as Lee tastes the food she eats.

"Mmmm, this food looks good. It's like a chicken noodle soup. Uhm, Rhima... is it okay if we eat here too? We kinda get hungry when we take a plane here?"

"Sure, you can order here." Rhima said smiling to them.

Back at the villa, Rhima arrives back on her room and to her surprise. She had smell something different which she humorously commented.

"It smells reeks... After I left here, the scent is still clean. I guess someone hasn't take a shower in a few weeks."

As Rhima goes to take a shower to clean herself up, Jin was there hiding who is asleep near the closet as he slowly wakes up when he heard the water drops from the shower. He knew that it was he himself who smell so bad which he had thought.

This is just like she had taken me to the falls, taunting me over my lack of hygiene. I was like this when I get transformed into a devil.

He brought his own towel so that he also wanted clean himself up as he finally unbuckles the black belt from his pants within his straitjacket as he took them off and to cover himself with a towel. Knowing that Rhima would be freaked out to see him while hiding. As Rhima gets out of the shower with only a short sleeve robe to get her clothes. She still smell the same stench which she mumbles.

"How come the smell is the same?"

Jin sneaks up from behind then he immediately hugs her which surprises her while he responded on her comment from earlier.

"You always keep saying about my lack of hygiene, Rhima. Kinda reminds me when you take me to the falls."

Rhima looked on her right to see Jin with devil markings on both his forehead and chest which causes her to scream only for Jin to cover her mouth to keep her quiet.

"Shhh! Shhh! Rhima, it's me Jin. Don't be scared... The devil markings within me is just a side effect from my devil's blood on my veins after I retracted both my horns and wings. Just calm down..."

"So you really transformed as the other you. I know the other you would try to kill me." Rhima replied sadly which Jin reassures her.

"Don't be upset, Rhima. I can control myself and my devil's blood. There's nothing to worry about. It was a side effect when I tried to revert back to normal. That's why the devil markings are still here within me."

Rhima realizes the hooded guy who rescued her was Jin and seeing that he is protecting her which she thanked him.

"Thank you, Jin... I would expect it was you in a hooded cloak when someone attempts to get me."

Jin begins to get close to her as he kisses her which surprises her and noticed that the devil markings on his face and chest begins to smoke on him as both stopped kissing.

"Rhima..."

"I understand what you mean, Jin. It's because of me that I can absorb any evil entities. That would be the reason why your markings would disappear in a purple haze." Rhima said making a flirt gesture over his condition which makes him snickered in excitement as he get closer to her, untying her robe around her waist as he pulls it off to show her naked body as she too untying the towel on his waist to make him naked which he flirtatiously responds.

"You haven't changed, Rhima. I really loved to get with you."

Jin immediately carries her to the bed in unbelievable pace and he lays her in the bed and finally makes out with her and the devil markings are completely disappear in a purple haze. Rhima noticed his devil markings are gone and Jin smiles happily to see her because he's back to his normal state, he softly kisses her in her lips and finally makes love to her romantically.

That night, Leroy continues to practice all of his Wing Chun moves. Once he was done, he went to the attackers who were knocked unconscious after they defeated them as he stated.

"These attackers came here because of the young lady that I taught her in her first day."

Fahkumram came to see him and to inform him about the two women which he tells him.

"I see... these two women just followed to see the young lady."

"I know they followed us. But the attackers are now focusing on killing them both." Fahkumram replied and wanted to tell Rhima the good news. "It appears that they brand these two as traitors."

"So they are branded as traitors, perhaps?" Leroy said and seeing their bad deeds and letting Fahkumram to show this to Rhima. "You could show these two to her. I think she knows what she's going to do at them."

Few hours later, Rhima is sleeping on Jin's bare chest and seeing that she was tired after her sparring match with Leroy. Jin misses her very much as he happily whispers to her.

"I'm glad you pull off your stunt on that sparring match, Rhima. I'm really impressed..."

Rhima wakes up to see him and became happy that he's with him but became upset because she lost to Leroy after their sparring match.

"I lost to the old guy and I know he's really good. I live my whole life working as a teacher to my students but not just about fighting. Am I really lacking?"

"If he says that your stamina is lacking that would mean you are more focus on your current work than being in training." Jin remarked while reminding himself being worked at the Zaibatsu when he was the leader at the time and he comforts her. "Listen, Rhima... you shouldn't think about your work right now. You and your family are targeted by those bastards. You need to train harder. Remember the time that I forced you to fight just because you don't want to fight. I know you were a fighter too and I wanted to train you to fight because I really love you."

"..."

"I was like that too when I keep training in Brisbane to master my current fighting style. You need more focus, Rhima... you have to focus on your training. The old guy is strong, I can sense him." Jin said nicely to her until his stomach growls. "Oh damn... I haven't eaten when I came here for you."

"You might get yourself hungry, Jin. But you're being a stinky person." Rhima said giggling over both his hunger and lack of hygiene which he retorts while raising his brow at her.

"You keep remarking me for my lack of hygiene. I'd like to take a shower to clean myself up."

Jin finally gets up and goes to the shower to refreshen himself up. Rhima was happy that he supported her as he tells her while he's taking the shower.

"Rhima, can you show me where you eat at the restaurant?"

"I think you will like the food, Jin. That's when I eat lunch from earlier. Because this villa that I stayed is where they give me free breakfast." Rhima answered and she gets up to get dressed her clothes.

After bathed and dressed, Jin enjoys the chicken noodle soup she had ordered while Rhima is with him who also eats for dinner.

"This is delicious... their noodle soup is different."

"Mr. Lee was there to see me earlier and Lars had informed me that you were there. I never thought you were hiding on my room the entire time just to surprise me." Rhima said telling him and Jin snickers to see her.

"I did that because I keep my word to follow you here and I'm going to protect you."

"Looks like both of you are enjoying digging in." Fahkumram arrives to see them both and he gives them a fried grouper for them to eat.

"Thanks, Fahkumram..." Rhima said thankfully to him which he informs her in Thai language.

"The old man wants to see you because of the two attackers. I think you know these two."

After they eat some dinner, Rhima recognizes both Meng and Daya who are the two girls who attempted to attack her from the beginning.

"When did they follow me here?"

"I think they mistook me as your father, Rhima." Jin said pointing them out as both wake up to see them which angers them.

"It's our target..."

"You have no right to attack her. Didn't you know that you were already been targeted by the same organization you had worked for?" Fahkumram angrily scolds them in Thai language until Rhima taunts them sadistically.

"What if this big guy is saying is true? I think the two of you are branded as traitors. Kasi di niyo matapos tapos para tuluyan niyo ko. (Because you never get the job done.)

Both Jin and Fahkumram didn't understand because of her native language in Filipino just like Josie Rizal as Leroy arrives to see them and translating her words.

"It means, you two had never get the job done for trying to kill the young lady over there."

Both noticed he was in shirtless to reveal many tattoos all over his chest and both girls are shocked to see him.

"Meng... we need to get out of-?"

"It appears that you two are now branded as traitors now. That leader who sent these attackers to kill the young lady, didn't like people like the two of you are failures to his cause." Leroy said as he threaten by pointing his cane on both women who were bound in ropes. "Now tell us everything about his plans."

The two girls are panicked to get threatened and Rhima decided to interrogate them tomorrow.

"I think scaring them off is not a good idea, old guy. I'll let Jin and the others to interrogate them for tomorrow."

"You have a point, young lady."

"I decided to retrain myself, Jin was right about my lack of stamina. Because of my focus on my teaching as a teacher, I forgot about the teachings he had taught me how to fight. Not just to refine my Wing Chun skills. But my current style too." Rhima said wanted to train more of her abilities which Leroy smiles.

"So you decided to take heavy training then. It may refine your Wing Chun skills from me. And you're not alone that you have a lot of friends to help you get trained."

"I'll stay with them to interrogate these two women tomorrow. As for you, Rhima... you need to get rest." Fahkumram decided to stay with Lee, Lars and Alisa to continue the interrogation with the Flores sisters and Rhima nods in agreement because the training will give her would be heavy not just refining her current fighting skills. Jin decided to help her train again and to inform both Lee and Lars about their new enemy.

*Lars appears in his down vest customization but with a short sleeve undershirt in his travel with Lee.

*When Jin moves in unbelievable pace while being half-transformed, referencing his appearance as a boss character in the Scenario Campaign mode in Tekken 6.

*Both Jin and Rhima had remember all the things they did between The Strangest Things and The Strangest Things 2: Time and Again

*When Leroy look on his downed opponent, it was one of his win animations in the game.

*Leroy is also seen in shirtless to show the tattoos on his chest which happens to be his customization of the game.

*Rhima decided to retrain her fighting skills after she had forget Jin's teachings in learning how to fight a reference to one of Jun Kazama's pre-fight animation where she asks Jin if he forgotten her teachings.
