Author's Note: This chapter will have some gore in it. Also the scene in italics will be a flashback
One morning, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang all stood on a roof when four creatures approached them and the women turned to see animals with black fur like the Grimm, but these were different from typical Grimm. One looked like a cheetah with red crystals as it's spots from its head to tail and glowing red eyes, another looked like a tiger with white crystals as its stripes and glowing white eyes, the third looked like a panther covered in purple crystals along its back and tail as well as down its legs and glowing purple eyes, and the fourth resembled a lion with yellow crystals for a mane and tail spur and down it's legs too as well as glowing yellow eyes. All four had blood dripping from their chins. The cheetah walked to Ruby, the tiger to Weiss, the panther to Blake, and the lion to Yang.
"I'd say our little pets have done well." Ruby said and her friends nodded. "Of course, I never doubted Nova, Bones, Nightshade, and Hunter would fail."
"A shame Brother Tukson had to die so gruesomely." Blake said. "But he wasn't as loyal to the White Fang as the rest of my followers."
"These Crystal Grimm really are good. Just like we were promised." Yang smirked.
A notification went off on Weiss's Scroll and she sighed. "I have a meeting with the boards of the four Kingdom branches of the company. There's still one last thing that needs to be taken care of before the Company is fully mine. I'll see you later, ladies. Bones, come!" She said then she and the Tiger walked away.
Coming out of the Emerald Forest from an early jog was Lapis...and a wolf Grimm with blue crystals around its body and glowing blue eyes to match. "Come on, Alpha." Lapis said and the two headed to the school...only for Glynda and Ozpin to walk up to her.
"Ah, Miss Lazuli. We've made a new friend, I see." Ozpin said.
Lapis began to nervously shuffle on her feet. "Sorry, Professors."
"How did you manage to tame a Alpha Beowolf and it become a Crystal Grimm?" Glynda asked.
"It was alone and I was gentle in taming it. My mother told me to do it was to stay calm and be gentle. It's how Alpha became the way he is."
"Those are in fact the main ways to take a Grimm." Ozpin said. "Well, keep him in your room during classes and at your side when not in classrooms and the cafeteria and he can stay with you."
Lapis nodded. "Thank you, Professor Ozpin." She said then the two headed to Team SLVR's room.
Lapis saw Cinder and her team walking out of their room in their uniforms and they froze at the sight of Alpha.
"Whoa! Is that...?!" Emerald started.
"A Crystal Grimm?" Lapis finished then nodded. "Sure is."
Alpha walked to Team CMSN and Neo slowly held a hand to him. He sniffed her hand then licked it gently, causing her to smile. Alpha became friends with the rest of Team CMSN as the rest of Team SLVR opened their door.
"Whoa! Grimm!" Vella said and Ragora and Simin were shocked to see Alpha until Lapis poked her head at them.
"He's a Crystal Grimm. They're domesticated Grimm." She assured them. "Ozpin's allowed me to keep him on campus, but he can't be in the cafeteria or classrooms."
Alpha befriended Team SLVR as Lapis changed into her school uniform. She then patted her bed and Alpha laid down in it. She kissed his crystal head. "Mommy'll be back later." She said to him then he fell asleep while the two teams went to eat.
In her conference room, Weiss was sitting with the board of the Vale branch of the SDC while the other board members from Mistral, Vacuo, and Atlas were on three screens.
"I'm sorry, Miss Schnee, but your father was adamant that your brother is entitled to both his share of the company and your sister's." The Vale chairman said.
"Then...it seems I have no choice." Weiss said then whistled. "Bones! Come, boy!" She called and Pyrrha opened the door and Bones walked in. Weiss used a gravity glyph and sent the chairman to the tiger. "Lunch."
The Crystal Grimm immediately showed his teeth and began to tear into the screaming chairman and the others on all the boards watched in fear as the chairman was murdered and eaten.
Weiss looked at the members. "Any other objections?" She asked, as if daring them, but everyone but Pyrrha quickly shook their heads. "Good. Then set to transferring Whitley and Winter's shares of the company to me. Discreetly." She told them.
All board members set to that. Weiss knew it was only a matter of time until Jacques found out and contacted her, but he wasn't gonna change her mind. Weiss turned to Pyrrha. "Have someone come and clean up Bones' mess, please."
Pyrrha nodded then she and Bones left the conference room.
Later in the day, at lunch, Team CMSN and Team SLVR sat at a table together.
"Did you guys hear that two of this schools best teams had a massive food fight in this cafeteria?" Lapis said to them and all eyes turned to her.
"Which teams?" Mercury asked.
"The all girl Team RWBY and the half and half Team JNPR. It was the day before classes resumes for the year..." The Faunus replied then began recalling the story.
Students cleared out of the cafeteria, some of them screaming "Food fight!"
A teenage Nora let out a laughing while singing "I'm queen of the castle" twice while standing with her teammates on a tower of tables. Ruby slammed a foot on one of the tables and pointed a finger at JNPR.
"Justice will be swift, painful, and delicious!" She shouted with her teammates behind her.
After Nora said "Off with their heads", JNPR unleashed a barrage of watermelons at RWBY and Yang held them back by punching them with her fists in turkeys then Blake backflipped over her and picked up two baguettes to use as swords then the two charged forward with Blake slashing through two watermelons then Yang destroyed a third and launched the turkeys, hitting Jaune with both of them as Blake engaged Pyrrha in a one on one fight, with the former using her Shadow Semblance in an attempt to throw Pyrrha off, only to be launched back by Pyrrha, who then used Blake's surviving baguette as a javelin aimed at Yang, who broke it then two more before a third one knocked her down.
Ruby charged forward with a tray to Pyrrha, who threw a fourth baguette but Ruby sent it back as a distraction and used the food tray she was sliding on to knock Pyrrha down. Ren and Nora charged at Ruby, but Weiss used ketchup as an ice attack, causing Ren to slip and slam into tables. Nora jumped through it, grabbed a pole then used used it and a whole watermelon to make a hammer. She moved to attack Weiss, but Ruby took the hit for her. Weiss then picked up a swordfish and fought one on one with Nora, who knocked Weiss hard into a pillar, but Ruby caught her.
Yang grabbed two more turkeys as Ren grabbed a pair of leeks then the two fought one on one as well until Yang gave Ren an uppercut and launched him up. He threw his leeks at her but she jumped up and punched him into the floor hard. Nora then attacked Yang with her makeshift hammer, but Nora sent Yang through the roof, which Blake had to backflip to avoid. The cat Faunus then used sausage links as a whip and knocked Nora into a couple of vending machines. Nora got up and threw soda at Blake, who dodged them. Pyrrha used her Polarity Semblance to unleash a barrage on Blake, taking her out of the fight.
As the last fighter, Ruby used her heightened speed from her Semblance to dash through the cafeteria, picking up JNPR with all the food and drinks, to the other side and stopped, cracking the wall as JNPR slammed into the cracked wall. Ruby jumped up as JNPR was pelted relentlessly by food and drink and they peeled off the wall while Ruby landed on one knee.
"Then Professor Goodwitch walked in and put everything back in order." Lapis said as she finished telling the story.
"Holy shit, that sounded intense." Ragora said, sounding slightly impressed.
Lapis nodded then looked down. "...It was Blake who invited me to join the White Fang." She revealed. "Her parents, Ghira, and Kali, adopted me two years after my parents died. My mom knew Blake's mom so Kali promised to take me in if something happened to my mom. Then I was ten when she and my dad were killed by Grimm."
"Did you and Blake get close?" Simin asked.
Lapis shook her head. "By that point, Blake was delving deeper into the White Fang. By the time I was fifteen, she'd become High Leader."
Neo used sign language.
"I thought Sienna Khan was still the High Leader." Cinder translated.
"Her rule was brief. When my village was slaughtered by Grimm, Blake offered me a place in the White Fang and I took it. After I joined, I was told by Blake herself what happened to Sienna." Lapis said. "...Blake had assassinated Sienna..."
Her friends were shocked.
Lapis nodded. "Blake said she had human allies and Sienna had refused to accept it." She explained then sighed. "I don't know what's happened to Blake, but after becoming High Leader, she's been...different. She's amped up organized attacks and declared war against Weiss Schnee and her company."
"But why? They were teammates when they went here. Friends, even." Emerald said.
"I think it was the Schnee Dust Company itself she declared war on. They've used Faunus labor for years, not exactly something the White Fang approves of."
"How'd you leave them?" Vella asked.
"When I was sixteen, Blake sent me and my partner, a bull Faunus named Adam Taurus, to hijack a a cargo train. After destroying the Atlesian Knights guarding it, Adam said for me to go on ahead while he set up explosives, but I instantly became worried about the crew members but Adam was cold and ready to kill them. We fought a Spider Droid then when he ran to catch up to me after he finished it off, I disconnected the train cars and left him. After that, I travelled the world for a short while until I came here to attend Beacon."
The others just looked at her.
"Did...you like the guy?" Cinder asked.
Lapis shrugged. "I thought I did. But after that day, I started losing whatever I felt for him as I travelled."
"Guy sounds like a jerk if you ask me." Ragora said.
"Ragora." Simin said.
"It's fine, Simin. She's right. He could be a jerk. His traits as a bull Faunus give him a bit of a temper." Lapis said.
The topics turned lighter after that as they are lunch.
Later in the day, at the Black Rose base, the Four Heads of the Hydra walked inside with their Crystal Grimm and JNPR.
Roman looked at the twelve of them and paled at the sight of the Grimm. "What are those?" He asked.
"Crystal Grimm." Jaune smirked.
Pyrrha's Scroll vibrated and she answered through her earpiece then turned to Weiss. "It's your father." She whispered.
Weiss walked somewhere quieter and called Jacques. "You know, I've heard from you more than I've wanted to, Father."
"HOW DARE YOU TAKE YOUR SIBLINGS' SHARE OF THE COMPANY?!" He shouted.
"Winter seems perfectly content in the military. She doesn't want anything from the company, remember?"
"I have indulged you long enough. I'm taking back my company!"
"It's NOT your company! You are not blood! You're unworthy of MY family legacy! Everything about the company is mine now. Contact me again, and my new pet will pay you a visit. And he's VERY hungry."
Weiss ended the call then walked to her fellow criminals. "Sorry about that. Daddy Dearest can't accept that I own the SDC now."
"It's no problem, Weiss. We were about to tell Roman that we were cleaning up a mess he should've handled. In the form of Tukson." Ruby said then turned to Roman. "I thought we made it clear he had to be eliminated before he escaped to Vacuo. Why hadn't you gotten around to it?"
Roman gestured to all the Dust with a glare at Ruby. "I've been a little preoccupied stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom. On YOUR orders, Red!" He snapped then flinched back a bit when Nova hissed at him.
"Big bad Roman doesn't like Nova." Nora taunted.
"I am big and bad, Carrot Top. Look around. This town's running scared thanks to me. Police camping corners, Dust prices soaring, and we have more Dust in general than we know what to do with. So, if I get clued in a bit more about your grandmaster plan, my next chain of robberies might just go a little smoother." He said.
"Roman, have some faith." Pyrrha said then cupped his cheek. "When you need to know, you'll know what you need." She assured him, her green eyes glowing.
"We're done with the Dust now, anyway. We're moving." Ruby said.
"My soldiers will clear out this building." Blake said.
"Mine too." Yang said.
"Roman, you'll receive more details and coordinates tonight." Ruby said.
"For what, boss?" Roman asked.
"We're moving to Phase 2." Ruby said then she and her friends, along with the Crystal Grimm, left the warehouse.
