Perseus12: We aren't even at that bit yet.

Ryu Otsutsuki: Thanks. Yamato's still there, I forgot to put in that Drake sent it back into his pocket dimension or wherever it goes when it's not in use.

The saiyan boy: Thanks.

Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or Justice League. I only own the OC Drake Redgrave.

Drake was currently walking along the sidewalk in Redgrave City in the daytime while dressed casually in a faded black, 3/4-length, hooded leather coat with red interior linings and the British Union flag sewn on the left arm, a gray tank top, black fingerless gloves, black faded jeans and black military boots.

It has been about a month since he and the other heroes and heroines saved the earth from the alien invasion then later came together to form the Justice League with the sole purpose of protecting the planet earth and at times other planets. Drake knew, with how big the Universe is, there are many species out there that are set on conquering worlds, and Drake knew there will be more invasions that will put the world in danger. So it's a good thing the world has a team like the Justice League to defend it.

He continued to walk, occasionally glancing at the regular activities around them. Suddenly he heard a woman scream from behind him. He turned around to see a lady screaming after a man who was running with a purse in his hands. Drake immediately got the idea of what's going on.

"Stop thief, give back my purse!" Shouted the distressed woman, but she was ignored and no one even tried to stop the thief, further increasing her despair.

Drake patiently waited for the thug to pass by him then casually stretched his arm out, causing the thief to collide throat-first into his arm, making him spin right off his feet and land on the concrete floor hard. Drake picked up the purse and turned as the woman came running over and he handed the purse back to her.

"Thank you so much!" She said gratefully.

Drake smiled. "No problem, just doing what needed to be done." He said before he glanced at the thug on the ground with a small frown then brought out his phone to call the police "I'll get the cops to take care of this guy soon enough."

Once that was done, and he bade the woman, Drake watched from a rooftop as the thief was arrested and taken away. He smiled a bit. Another good deed done. He'll go out on patrol tonight to make sure things go smoothly tonight. But knowing his luck... he'll deal with criminals and demons.

"Drake."

Drake whirled around, almost reaching for Ebony and Ivory, only to see Batman standing there. Drake blinked and relaxed. "Batman, the hell are you doing here?"

Batman didn't answer as he walked over to stand next to him, looking down at the thief being escorted into a police car which then drove off. "I saw what you did there with the thief." Batman said. "You made sure to do it well without exposing yourself. But you still have much to learn in this business."

"Did you come here for a good reason or just to lecture me?" Drake asked with a frown.

Batman turned to him, staring at him blankly. "You still haven't got a good mask to cover your identify, nor a good name to use in the hero business." He stated and Drake sighed.

"it's a work in progress-"

"Come with me." Batman turned and walked away, leaving Drake to blink in surprise before he just gave up and decided to follow Batman. The two jumped down to the alleyway below where the Batmobile was parked.

"Holy shit..." Drake said with wide eyes as the doors popped open and Batman got in. Slowly, Drake got in as well and sat in the passenger seat. "Never thought I'd be in the Batmobile."

Batman said nothing as he started the Batmobile up and drove out of the alleyway, and with the speed of this ride, they were out of Redgrave in five minutes. After a small bit of silence, Drake spoke up.

"Batman, what is this all about?" He asked. "I doubt you'd come from Gotham to here just to lecture me. You always have a reason for everything."

Batman's lips twitched a bit before he replied. "I've been watching you this past month since you agreed to join the Justice League. There are many areas for you to improve on in your fighting style and to improve upon entirely in this line of work. But what you need to deal with is getting yourself a better mask instead of a cloth to cover half your face. And The Shadow isn't exactly a good name to use when you wear a red coat. I need to see you in action now that we aren't occupied by an alien invasion."

"Wait, what?" Drake blinked.

Gotham City

"What do you see?" Batman asked as they both stood on the edge of a balcony staring at a building across from them. After using the information he had Batman pinpointed where the thugs were hiding at. It was an old orphanage that got shutdown years ago because of a fire that caused it, how it was no one knows.

"A building. Room inside it." Drake drawled with a roll of his eyes. "I don't have X-Ray vision if that's what you think, it's Superman that has that. But I do have a good sense of smell and hearing that helps better than X-Ray." He took a sniff of the air and closed his eyes for a couple of seconds before opening them. "Five people, one of them is a kid, the other four are thugs with three holding guns, the fourth holding the kid."

Although he wouldn't say it out loud, Batman was impressed. "And what do you think is the best way of entrance?"

"Hmm..." Drake stared at the building, his icy blue eyes narrowing in a calculating manner before he backed up then ran and leaped, surprising batman with the sudden move and he watched Drake smash through a window, dropkicking one of the thugs into the wall which knocked him out.

It startled the remaining three though.

"What the he-!" The thug holding the baby started to shout only to be kicked in the face and Drake unsheathed Rebellion and threw it like a boomerang, the blade slicing through the remaining two thugs' guns while Drake caught the baby before he could hit the floor. The two thugs looked at him with wide eyes. Before they could do anything, Batman came in and took them out from behind.

Once that was done, Batman looked at Drake. ""Why did you jump in? You coul-!"

"I know." Drake cut him off. "I know I jumped in not realizing that anything could happen if I didn't think ahead. I couldn't help myself, I….I just reacted because I knew if I didn't make an action the little guy could be hurt."

Batman stared at him. After hearing this he understood Drake, had he not taken action something could have happened to the child. Drake looked up in surprise feeling a hand on his shoulder.

"I understand Drake, you acted on your heart. Because of it the child is safe, and the thugs have been dealt with." Batman said. "However, you went in with no plan, meaning you went in without knowing if your actions would hurt the kid or not. You need to start thinking ahead and planning before you make a move, understand?"

Drake nodded, seeing the dark knight's point. He then looked at the thugs. "Who were these guys anyway?"

Batman glanced at them. "Bunch of small-time thugs, hoping that by snatching the child of a rich couple they could hold for ransom and earn themselves a lot of money. But you put a stop to that. Now let's bring the kid back to his family."

A few minutes later, after dropping the kid off at the police station, Drake and Batman were walking towards the Batmobile. "Okay, so what's the whole reason about this? I doubt you wanted me to come to your city just to deal with one rescue that you could've easily handled yourself, or even Robin and Batgirl could've handled."

"True, but I needed to see how you reacted in a high stakes situation…..And that was the only thing going on tonight." Batman stated as they got into the Batmobile and drove off. It was silent for several seconds before Batman spoke up again. "Why do you do this, Drake?"

"What?" Drake blinked.

"Why do you do this? You have your whole life ahead of you. You're young, you should still be in school, earning grades, going to prom, meeting a girl, get yourself into college."

Drake was silent as he looked out the window. He sighed. "My life has never been easy, because of what I am. Believe me, Batman, I did use to go to school and I enjoyed it... but it's hard to focus on that when demons are popping in to try and kill you, and in doing so they harm innocents that have nothing to do with it. I dropped out of school to protect them. I don't care what happens to me or how crap my life gets as long as I can protect the innocent, just like my father protected humanity when he turned against his own kind."

Batman watched him as the half-demon looked out the window again. He had figured he pushed too hard, but at least Drake opened up a little. He could tell one thing about the kid: Drake was alone. He had no one and he seemed to like that because he didn't want them caught up in his life, knowing that anyone who associate's with him will be targeted by demons. Batman was certain he heard of some strange attack at a school in Redgrave a couple of years ago, and figured that must've been the demon attack Drake was talking about.

"We're here." Batman said upon seeing them arriving where he wanted them to go. Drake blinked and looked to see them heading for a waterfall and they passed right through it and drove down a long corridor before arriving in a big cave with high-tech equipment and bats hanging from the ceiling. The Batmobile parked and the doors opened, allowing them to get out. "Welcome to the Batcave."

"Woah..." Drake said with awe as he looked around. "Okay, this is cool. Wait, the bats won't attack me, right?"

"They don't really bother with anyone, just don't annoy them." Batman said as he walked over to the Batcomputer, Drake following him. "Tell me, Drake, who am I?"

Drake narrowed his eyes at him. Batman stared back. Drake wondered what Batman meant by that but then realized he was meaning who he was under that cowl. He couldn't tell by scent alone, so he took a look around at all the high-tech stuff. This was equipment one could buy if they had millions of dollars, if they were a billionaire or something like Lex Luthor or Bruce Way... The Batcave was stationed in Gotham, the cave had high-tech computers and equipment that you can only get if you owned a lot of money, so that means...

"You're Bruce Wayne." Drake stated. Batman smiled before he took off his mask to reveal it was Bruce Wayne indeed.

"Well done. How did you know?" Bruce asked curiously.

"Well, I mostly put two and two together. You are stationed in Gotham City, the Batcave is here and it has a lot of high-tech equipment that only someone with tons of money could buy and make with. And there's only one big-time billionaire in Gotham City and that's you." Drake said.

Bruce hummed. "Good connections there. You have some interesting gifts. Super strength, speed, mastery of weapons, and an impressive tracking skills. You could probably put hunters in Canada out of business."

"Yeah, well..." Drake rubbed the back of his head. He then blinked. "Wait, so I know who you are, but what about Robin and Batgirl? Or even Nightwing?"

"Let's not go that far yet." Bruce chuckled. "You still have a long way to go in this hero work. But... I think with time, training, and a lot of improvement, you'll make a good hero."

Drake raised an eyebrow. "Is that an offer to train me? Because I've seen you fight."

"You're good with your sword and guns, which I assume you use mostly for demon hunting." Bruce stated and Drake nodded. "But in terms of hand-to-hand combat... you're sloppy and untrained in that regard. What happens if you end up encountering someone trained in every fighting style? Trained to kill? I'm willing to teach you how to fight in hand-to-hand combat. You know how to fight six men, I'll teach you how to engage six hundred."

"Is that even possible?" Drake asked with surprise.

Bruce smiled. "Of course. There's many things you can use to your advantage, Drake. One of those things is the element of fear. You operate at night, yes?" Drake nodded. "I will help you learn how to become truly invisible in the minds of your enemies. You must become more than just a man in the mind of your enemies. To begin, these will be a little more helpful."

Bruce picks up a briefcase and hands it to him. Drake frowned until he opened it and his eyes widened when he saw a domino mask for his eyes but red, along with a red mask to cover his mouth with two filters on each side.

"The mask filters your voice so they don't recognize you, but it's main function is being allowed to breath in space and the ocean, as well as filter out in toxins." Bruce explained. "If you start operating with me and helping here, you may encounter some of my rogues, especially those who use toxins."

"Like Poison Ivy and Scarecrow?" Drake asked, getting a nod from Bruce.

"Or the Joker with his laughing gas." He added.

Drake nodded as he stared at the mask before he spoke. "My Dad fought for the human race, but all it did was prolong the inevitable. As far as I know I am one of the few people on Earth that remember my Dad's legacy, but the Demons will never forget. I wish to continue my Father's legacy, to protect humans, to make my mark on history... And to avenge my Mom."

"You lost her at a young age, didn't you?" Bruce said, putting a hand on Drake's shoulder. "I'm truly sorry, Drake. I myself know what it's like to lose your parents as a child. How old were you when it happened?"

"Six." Drake sighed. "My mother was everything to me. My dad left to go on a mission, I was too young to understand and thought he was away for work, but then he didn't come back and my mother was all I had... then the Demons attacked."

"Vengeance is not the answer, Drake." Bruce said.

"I know... but I can't let her die in vain." Drake said as his thumb traced long the domino mask. "I think I've come up with the name to use for the hero business."

"And that is?" Bruce raised an eyebrow.

Drake smirked at him. "Sparda..."

"Well, this was a interesting day." Drake said once he entered his apartment back in Redgrave City. Batman had dropped him off before heading back to Gotham. Now Drake felt better, he now had a name to live by, a legacy to live up to, and Batman was planning on training him in combat in case he ever encounters someone with skills that would easily defeat him.

Drake threw his coat off and was about to strip and go for a shower when he heard knocking on his door, causing him to sigh before he walked over and looked through the peephole to see... Diana and Hawkgirl?

He opened the door. "Diana? Hawkgirl? What are you two doing here?"

"Hello to you too." Hawkgirl snorted.

"Greetings Drake Redgrave, son of Sparda. May we come in?" Diana asked politely. Seeing no reason to not let them in, Drake nodded and opened the door, allowing the ladies in. He closed the door and watched them assess his home.

"You girls want something to eat? Drink?" Drake asked.

"Nah, but thanks." Hawkgirl declined.

"Maybe after we're done." Diana asked as she turned to face him.

"Done with what?" Drake asked with a frown.

Diana walked towards him until he felt her breasts brush against his chest which made him blush but he couldn't look away from those beautiful eyes of Diana's. It was when she spoke did he blink.

"Drake Redgrave, I challenge you to a fight!"

Well.. been a while since I updated this. was trying to come up with my own ideas to what Drake can do between episodes and stuff. This won't JUST follow the animated cartoon, this will go through comic book events as well from Pre-New 52 and New 52. This chapter was mainly about Batman teaching Drake something and offering to train him in fighting with his fists, and also give Drake an idea for his hero name and be given a mask, two actually, to use for his hero life.

And now he's got Wonder Woman wanting to spar with him... and she's meant to be the first girl in the harem he gets with, spoiler alert. Speaking of the harem, though...

Harem: Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Tala, Batgirl, Starfire, Black Canary, Huntress, Bekka, Artemis, Hippolyta, Donna, Powergirl, Fire, Ice, Zatanna, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Talia Al Ghul, Cheetah, Uriel, Angela, Maze, Fury, Circe, Aphrodite, Athena, Grail, Kitana, Jade, Mileena and Sonya.

I added Tala to the harem because... GODDAMN IS SHE HOT?! Plus she's a dark sorceress and I can tell she's the type that's attracted to great demonic power... I think. Plus, if I didn't put her in, you'd all be begging for her to be put in. She will show up in this story WAY before she did in Justice League Unlimited. In fact, Tala may be the third or 2nd girl to get with Drake.
