A/N: This next chapter where Jin reacquires his former fighting style in Tekken 3 by using the Omen stance in the non-canonical Tekken Tag Tournament 2 without being tag partnered with any Mishima relatives as Jin is able to use his old moves rather than Heihachi's own moves. This chapter also demonstrates Roderick's fighting style by accident. Here is the fifteenth chapter.

Chapter 15: An Odd Bout with the Omen

Rolento and Sally are eating Filipino food being cooked by Roderick as he and his fellow sous chef friend are present in the scene. Nanda and Hunyo are satisfied to see them.

"Anyway, Roddy... I thought you were one of those wretched mercenaries who wanted to kill me by ambush. Despite your weight, you're still flexible." Hunyo said since he had mistook Roderick as one of the Black Devil mercenaries and he finally replies.

"I came here to find you after my work colleague from the Interpol had contacted me about the Black Devil organization group. So the Interpol gives us this mission to apprehend and to disband that group. So it was the same Domon Merkova that you had beaten him in that fighting death tournament which was infiltrated by us with both the royal Thai police and the armed forces to rescue you and your family fourteen years ago."

"Really, Hunyo... you did fought in that death tournament?" Sally wondered which Hunyo begrudgingly replies.

"Yeah... I thought this is a karate tournament to demonstrate your professionalism in karate. But it turns out it was a real fight to beat everyone else down with your own two fists."

"Talk about tournaments, Hunyo. You didn't tell us when you have problems upon releasing our game partners in the game. It was a real shocker after I found out." Rolento said until Roderick faces him as he lifts and dog piles him into the ground. "Hey! Would you just get off me, you're way too heavy!"

"That fighting style, it's like sumo wrestlers can demonstrate their raw power." Julia recognizes Roderick's fighting style which Hunyo knows what it is.

"Don't you know it has sumo in Korea and it has a different name. The Korean version of sumo is called Ssireum."

"What!?" Armor King II surprisingly said and Julia was shocked to hear.

"Wow... Ssireum... I've never heard of that fighting style."

"Actually, Ssireum like Hunyo says, it was sumo wrestling in Korea. I learned this fighting style during my stay in Korea while apprehending criminals and their organizations there being given a mission from the Interpol." Roderick said finally explains himself about his fighting style until he sees the appearances of Armor King II, Julia and Kunimitsu II. "It looks to me that you had lots of foreigners are staying with you and they were from the Tekken game."

"Yeah you're right... they are from the Tekken game as their world is connected to our world." Hunyo remarked about the connections between the real world and the world of Tekken.

"At least it is not Ganryu's fighting style after all. The only representatives in Korea on the game we appeared are just Taekwondo practitioners." Armor King II said while growling like a jaguar and Julia decided to inform Hwoarang about this fighting style.

"I could inform Hwoarang about this sumo style from his home country in Korea. He will be thrilled by it. But for now, we have to focus on how to stop that mercenary group that was targeting Mr. Panganiban and his family."

"Here take this phone and it was encrypted with the powerful signal from the Interpol. You might able to contact me just in case if that criminal organization like the Black Devil are trying to assassinate you and your family. We're going to round up with the Thai royal police and the armed forces especially both the PNP and the AFP in our place in the Philippines." Roderick gives Hunyo a phone to contact him.

"Thanks Roddy..."

"I'd better be off, I'm sure the royal Thai monarchs would come looking for me at Siam. See you around, Hunyo."

As Roderick and his fellow sous chef leave, Hunyo, Rolento and Sally are happy to see them and Nanda would say to him.

"These two had a lot in common when making Filipino food. There was an owner of a Filipino restaurant somewhere living at the back of the Platinum Mall."

"Oh yeah... I remember I went there with my family after we kept shopping on that tower place." Hunyo said remembering about the times they shopped at the Platinum Mall.

At Rosewood in Acacia Estates, Tessie arrives to see them at the poolside as well as both Jin and Leroy are fighting move from move but Leroy manages to knock him with one low kick and a heavy blow. Leroy continues to knock him with his Rage Drive with one elbow and a powerful left punch. Jin struggles to stand up knowing his current fighting style had never worked on Leroy because of his Wing Chun fighting style.

"What's the matter? How can you recall your old fighting moves if you keep on using your current one. If most people are saying how overpowered you were, that means you're a worthy opponent."

"What a bummer? Jin was easily defeated by the old man. But why he didn't recall his former fighting style." Lee said in disappointment.

"Yeah... since you guys are now live in the real world. You could show your real feats in fighting." Reggie said in dismay as Rhima knows why Jin kept using his current fighting style he had mastered which she raises her brow on him.

"Jin! You need to recall your old fighting style. This is not your world, but it was my world. I know you discarded your old fighting style just for that Kyokushin one. I don't like to spill your secrets but everyone else wanted to know too."

Jin looked to see Rhima and the others and lowers his head, realizing she was right as he faces Leroy one last time and slightly looked at her.

"Rhima... you were right. I'm being one-sided because I can only focus on beating my opponents with my current fighting style. I already told you that, I might recall my old moves or trying to relearned it back."

Jin then tried to use Power Stance and Leroy knows what he's going to do and goes for an attack. Jin counters it with Laser Cannon to knock him down.

"Incredible... one of his punches have red electricity on it." Reggie said surprisingly which Jin was shocked knowingly it was from his discarded original fighting style he had used.

"Did I do that...? Or my devil form does that?" Jin became confused for a brief moment after executing one of his old moves by looking on both of his hands.

"Hmmm... Impressive... can you actually counter my Wing Chun style, eh?" Leroy stands up when Jin gives him an evil smile on his face.

"I don't like to act so arrogant over things. I may discarded my former fighting style just for Traditional Karate for two years. I could beat you down."

Leroy tries to attack Jin head on as he goes for another Power stance and Reggie discovers the move.

"Rhima... It looks like Jin is using the Omen stance."

"What!?"

"He is able to connect his old fighting style with his Omen stance." Reggie said knowing of Jin's change of strategy.

Leroy tries to use most of his moves only for Jin to counter the moves by tripping and knocking away with a Spinning Demon. Leroy continues to attack which Jin parries them and goes for another Power Stance, allowing him to block some of Leroy's Wing Chun moves by countering it with Three Ring Circus. Lee, Lars and Alisa were surprised to see him using his old moves in the previous game which was connected in the Omen stance.

"No kidding, Jin has both Kazuya and Jun's moves... No wonder he unlearned this move because Heihachi had betrayed him from the beginning." Lee said shockingly to see his moves.

"I've never seen him doing all this. All I know he uses his current fighting style when he faced me in our final fight." Lars commented shockingly as Alisa decided to record this.

"I might able to record Master Kazama's original fighting style."

Leroy continues to fight Jin as he goes for another Power Stance, he goes for a double lift kick and a heavy blow but was parried by Jin who smiles and knocking him with a Dragon Uppercut and a straight kick as he overpowers him with 3 Ring Circus Combo and a Spinning Flare Kick. It was a jawbreaking by everyone including Rhima to see him blending between his old and current fighting moves.

"I thought, he would use Demon Scissors but instead he uses his Spinning Flare Kick." Reggie said noticing the blend which Rhima was excited to see him doing it.

"With one sentence, he can understand a lot. That's why he never finished high school by focusing on his vengeance to Ogre. I'm glad he really done it."

Jin soon helps Leroy up afterwards since they are currently living in the real world.

"I'm really glad that I don't hit you with my cane. Despite my fighting style that takes on defense, you just broke it with your old fighting style."

"To be honest, I abandoned my old fighting style to master Traditional Karate. When I tried doing that Power stance, I could recall my old moves because when I transformed into my devil self, I had my discarded fighting style along with different movements." Jin said realizing his old bearings and continues to tell him. "But when I tried doing my mother's old moves, I never do Aikido stance. The only relative can do that was Asuka."

"Jin, those moves you used might able to take down every mercenary from the Black Devil organization. Lars was shocked after seeing these moves you pulled off on the Wing Chun master." Lee said complimenting on recalling his old moves as Lars comments about his feat.

"If you tried beating me with those moves back on our last fight. You might able to beat me down despite how fast I was to pull off my punches and kicks."

"I actually do this because I keep my word for Rhima's sake. She'd never see me using my discarded fighting style that I currently abandoned so I finally made up my mind by recalling all of it." Jin retorts to both of them.

"Rhima, you were amazing to speak to my master like that. It's like your words are easily to convince him." Alisa smiled excitedly which Rhima sighs in response.

"Sometimes a brainiac like myself has to tell him in one full sentence. He always had one-sided concentration just to focus only one single thing."

"I recognized the moves that he pulled off... I've seen him doing this in the game. That time their life points are just like in the second game, Jin is able to overpower them with his blended moves to make a perfect KO to his opponent. But now that he says that he abandoned that blended moves from his old fighting style for that simple Karate thingy, he no longer overpowers his opponent. He can do damage with his powerful striking moves to keep up his game." Tessie butts in to their conversation and pointing out of Jin's overpowered process as a fighter in the third game but that changes when he utilizes Traditional Karate moves in Tekken 4 onwards.

Both Rhima and Reggie are shocked to hear from Tessie's words since they never played the third game.

At Siam, both Roderick and his sous chef came back to the gate of the Palace and was met by Zen and they went inside. They looked at the files involving assassinations and murders in Bangkok in which they had found Domon on the profiles.

"That's the same guy Hunyo had defeated in that illegal fighting death tournament we infiltrated with the Interpol. But that was impossible, why would he became a wanted criminal for this."

"Apparently, he actually kills people with his own two fists if his temper gets the better of him. The last time I've seen Ms. Rhima... is when we infiltrated Arias Verde where her father was kidnapped recently including fellow martial artists caused by Roman Sawatdee." Zen said and became sighs since she allows Yue to get vacation. "I even allow Yue to take trips around the world. It looks like we're gonna team up to save these two."

"Hey look, there's a blimp flying around the area." Roderick pointed out the blimp in the sky and Zen looked at her binoculars and seeing it was from Black Devil organization all this time.

"Seems like they're making their move, trying to take surveillance to hunt down Rhima's father in the process. I believe it can travel to the Phillipine too"

"It's time to help my old friend who always caught up in their mess. You can even inform the royal Thai police and armed forces. I might able to contact the PNP and AFP cause Hunyo's fight would be very deadly for him." Roderick said and was soon contacted by his chief from the Interpol. "What is it?"

"The Black Devil organization had changed their plans. Our most wanted target planned of capturing Marissa Panganiban to lure them out. You must get there to the Philippines immediately as possible. You're going to be aided with the PNP Special Action Force and the AFP."

As it was hung up, Roderick knows how the Panganiban family are in great danger.

"Hunyo and his family were indeed in great danger because of Merkova. I accept of helping me, Ms. Shinawatra."

"You must go to the Philippine, I'll inform the police chief and its armed forces to battle this very dangerous group and I'm sure the royal King would agree with it." Zen said as both her and Roderick shake hands, forming an alliance to stop Merkova's group.

Meanwhile at the top of Sathorn Garden, Hunyo looked on to see the cities in Bangkok, he finally decided to return back to the Philippines to find both Rhima and Marissa before the criminal organization does. Therefore, he was confronted by Kazuya who has been taking surveillance of him during his hiding with Domon due to wanting to have a revenge match against him.

"Kazuya... I don't expect you'd showed up to swoop me down with your own two fists." Hunyo said noticing his presence as Kazuya folded both of his arms and replies.

"Hmph... Despite my loss to you, you're still the same person who is lucky enough to survive my wrath."

Just as both of them are about to fight, it was interrupted when the blimp passes them as the Black Devil mercenaries are gliding to corner them both.

"Save your grudge match for later... As you know, there was a guy that I almost killed him with my own two hands fourteen years ago. Unlike you, who killed your own father with your own bare hands." Hunyo said knowing that Domon had sent them to kill him once more.

"Simple, I killed Heihachi with my own bare hands is to avenge my mother's death. I'm sure a lot of people would be so afraid of me if I continued this dangerous war that my son and I had created. I don't care if Jin tries to kill me because of our bloodline." Kazuya replies in arrogance and both brought some scores on them and the fight for survival begins.

Trivia:

*Roderick demonstrates his Ssireum fighting style on Rolento which mirrors the scene where Shindong overpowers and quickly defeats Lee Soo Geun in a group ssireum match competition in Episode 318 of Knowing Bros and Shindong also pays homage to the comedian and both former Ssireum wrestler and legend, Kang Ho Dong when he performs his win ceremonies after winning the match.

*Jin's Omen stance was his Power Stance from the game.

*Jin reacquires his discarded original fighting style by connecting with his Omen stance alone without siding with any Mishima relatives unlike in the game as Jin utilizes his old fighting moves in Tekken 3.

*When Jin executes both his Three Ring Circus and his 3 Ring Circus Combo is actually Devil Jin's own movements from Tekken 6 and onwards and Jin claims that he had never do Aikido stance like both Jun and Asuka did from their moves.

*Jin's fight with Leroy is a stark contrast to their anime appearance in the upcoming Tekken: Bloodline where Leroy mistakenly thinks that Jin is one of the Mishima lapdogs during the fight.

*Tessie is revealed as a veteran gamer like Hunyo and his group since they are known to play retro games such as Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 and she pointed out to both Rhima and Reggie about Jin being an overpowered fighter in Tekken 3 but was changed in Tekken 4 onwards due to him discarding his old fighting style for Traditional Karate and is no longer an overpowered character.

*Kazuya now wears Player 2 outfit in Tekken 4 but not wearing his sunglasses as the color scheme of his outfit is from the Tekken 4 opening.

*Hunyo wears a casual outfit worn by the antagonist Cesar Monastrial played by the actor Zoren Legaspi in the Filipino teleserye, Apoy sa Langit (Fire on Heaven) as his short sleeve open button shirt is navy blue, his jeans were dark gray and wore leather brown shoes instead of sneakers.
