Chapter 17: Infiltration of the Mercenaries

Hunyo and the others finally returned back to Manila at NAIA 3 and was reunited with Lee, Lars, Josie, Margie, Alisa, Rick and Reggie. Therefore, Brian arrives along with Jin, Rhima, Meng and Daya to tell them the bad news. Rhima reunites with her father and soon asks her what happened to Marissa.

"Rhima, I'm glad you're safe. But where's Marissa?"

"Dad... Mom, she's..." Rhima said as she cried emotionally. "I tried to rescue her but when Veron tried to attack me, she shielded me so that I won't be killed. And now she was captured by them."

Rhima continues to cry remorsefully after she tried to rescue her mother, Hunyo understands her and realizing it was Domon's plan all along to lure them out by kidnapping his wife.

At Silveria Corporation, Rei and Yoshimitsu prepare to battle Domon and his organization as Ibrahim and Benzon are present as Hunyo and the others are here to see them.

Roderick also sends most from the Armed Forces of the Philippines because Domon's organization is their main target to put them behind bars.

"Where's Rhima? She is always present..." Benzon remarked about Rhima's whereabouts.

"I let Jin to look after her for the time being. She always came to see Marissa but that wretched bastard just ruined it." Hunyo said knowing of Domon's plan as Roderick finally showed them the main base.

"Apparently, this blimp usually leads to their main base at the mountain parts of Sta. Maria, Laguna. Merkova usually flies around from Bangkok then here in Manila."

"But how can we get through that mountain place?" Rolento asked and Hunyo knows where they can get through Sta. Maria.

"Marcos Highway was the easiest path to drive and it calls this highway as Marikina-Infanta Highway. Manila East Road was the worst old highway to get through. Sta. Maria was just a small city. Basically, Domon loves to train at the mountains to honed his MMA skills."

"I'm sure Zen is with me since she has been contacting the Thai royal police and military to serve as a back up for the PNP Special Action Force and the infantry units from the AFP." Roderick said telling Hunyo about their back up.

"Lars... do you know where both of them are? Rhima is the only person who can navigate the roads. Just like we did to infiltrate at DIRGE." Lee asked which Lars knows where they go as Hunyo was present because he was the one who directs them both.

At Nihonbashitei, Rhima was served with a salmon sashimi being cut into a thick size. She remains depressed as Jin orders some grilled chicken skewers since the food they eat was an authentic Japanese cuisine and it was a traditional food for them in Japan.

"Don't feel depressed, Rhima. It's not your fault. It reminds me of what I did before." Jin said while looking her who is depressed.

"..."

"I didn't save my mother from Ogre when I was 15. I tried to protect her but I was too weak." Jin said sadly after remembering the time he didn't save his mother Jun from Ogre and continues to tell her. "All I can think of was to avenge her death. That's why I was trained in Mishima-Style Fighting Karate by my grandfather Heihachi who had recently died today."

"That disguise you gave me was perfect but then... they got deceived by our enemies." Rhima said sadly and noticed Jin was ordering Sake. "Jin, are you drinking alcohol? I thought you're not a drinker like people at my age."

"I order this because I want you to make you feel better. I do this when I make a fair share to my friends. Even I treated my rival Hwoarang to have some beer."

"I can't believe a cool but gloomy guy like you can even do this for me. It reminds me of how my college friends would do it in parties." Rhima reacted in annoyance as she tried eating a one piece of salmon sashimi as Jin smiles at her annoying reaction.

"You're still petty, Rhima. I'm trying to cheer you up following that incident. And now they've been planning to go to the mountainous place. They're saying that our enemy lies on that province they are about to go and it reminds me of how I lived in the Yakushima mountains with my mother."

"I think it was in Laguna province. Not on the southern side, it was connected on the Rizal province which was on the north. It looks like my dad is gonna beat his rival there."

As the chicken skewers are finally served, Jin had ate one chicken skewer and he looks at her.

"Don't focus on your father, Rhima. You have to focus on facing that bitch. She was the one who tried to kill you since Mrs. Panganiban had tried to save you before she was captured."

"Right... Veron is gonna pay for this. I'm going to teach her a severe lesson." Rhima said while glaring over her sashimi which Jin shrugs at her.

"Uhm, Rhima... you don't have to piss over one sashimi. Your father gave me some money for us to eat here and I knew you deserve this."

The waitress serves Rhima a beef teppanyaki which surprises her and Jin smirks because he wanted to make her feel better after what happened earlier as he thought.

We're gonna save your mother, Rhima. I don't want to meet the same fate as my mother that I didn't saved from Ogre and you need to be ready to face that bitch.

The following day, Hunyo, Lars and Brian's vehicles are passing over the Marikina-Infanta Highway to find Domon's main base. Meanwhile, both Rei and Rolento's vehicle had taken the Manila East Road which Armor King II had been complaining about the traffic. Jin has been following Hunyo and Brian's vehicles with his motorcycle and he looked at the beautiful scenaries as Alisa flies to follow them with her jetpacked wings.

As Roderick had given him the coordinates to his main base, they have to hike through the top of the mountain, Hunyo finally gets off wearing a Black Ops gear since the Interpol or the SWAT team had been wearing this to infiltrate their enemies while Lee only wears a black leather jacket, gray cargo jeans and black combat boots.

"I've never seen this place have many rough roads along the way. And Hunyo how come you're wearing that Black Ops get up?" Lee said noticing the natural scenaries and Hunyo looks at him with a grin.

"Roderick and Rolento had told me to wear this get up because we're like infiltrators to fight off rebels in a bloody gun fight. I'm sure his mercenaries are heavily armed."

"Don't be worry... I'm always being armed and dangerous." Lars gets off in his SUV with his machine gun in hand. "I know fighting with guns is illegal too."

Rhima gets off his father's car and see the surroundings as Jin senses his enemy presence.

"I can sense where our enemy is. It's like we're gonna climb up the hill."

"Oh no! Not a thousand steps again." Lee said complaining about the thousand steps and Brian shrugs as he gets off.

"We have many bottle waters in case if some of us are gonna get tired of hiking this place. At least both Meng and Daya are with me just to redeem themselves."

Leroy also gets off in Lars' SUV and giving Rhima more advices in how to stop her enemy with defensive techniques in Wing Chun.

"Young lady... your defensive techniques are the only way to stop your enemy since Wing Chun is part of your own fighting style. I let Sugar to be looked after by your younger friend of yours."

"This is my dad's final battle. I can't wait to knock that bitch for attacking my mom and both of her lies and deception." Rhima said wanting to battle Veron for her deceptions.

The blimp finally lowers down on the ground as Domon arrives to see his men including Veron and he looked at Marissa who remains unconscious and decided to imprison her to his base. Sensing Hunyo's presence, he decided to confront him personally.

As Hunyo and the others manage to get to the top, they are confronted by Domon and his group of men who were actually covered up by camouflage.

"So you've come, Panganiban. It looks like you and I are about to fight for the death."

"Where is my wife, Domon? I knew you sent your bastard right-hand of yours to get her just to make me and Rhima to show ourselves."

"She was inside of my base. But don't worry, we're not gonna touch her or getting killed at our hands. All I want is to eradicate you." Domon said as he snaps his fingers to reveals his men who is armed with sniper rifles and various firearms.

"Sometimes, you always messing up with me. Much like how NPAs would be here to kill the soldiers and ransacking their belongings. In fact that I'm not alone cause I have more friends than you." Hunyo said smirking over Domon's mercenaries who are ready to strike at him.

With this, Ibrahim, Benzon and the combination of both PNP-SAF and the AFP military infantrymen led an all-out assault which the AFP soldiers had managed to snipe most of the mercenaries with their sniper rifles on their respective military choppers. With the song "Bonamana" has been played, Domon was horribly surprised by Hunyo's ambush since it was actually a trap to stop his diabolical plans. Two military choppers lowers down on the ground where Katarina, Benzon, Shaheen and Ibrahim are about to get off and joins at Hunyo's side. Lars eventually shoots most of the mercenaries with his machine gun while Alisa goes to strike them while flying with her jetpacked wings. Both Lee and Jin had ambushed the mercenaries by using stealth techniques which is enough to disarmed them immediately. Both Leroy and Rhima fight using their Wing Chun techniques.

Other military choppers have also arrived in the scene with both Zen and Roderick to join the fray and Roderick demonstrates his Ssireum skills by lifting and grabbing to their waist, thinking it was a satba to take them down. Lars then tried to battle them with his fighting style demonstrating his agile moves. Jin knocks one of them with Geyser as Lee defeats the other with two punches in a Double Signal. Domon was angered for what Hunyo has done causing him to run in frustration. Hunyo was mad at him for running away.

"You coward! Your plans are far from over! I won't let you get away for kidnapping my wife!"

Trivia:

*Jin is revealed to drinking alcohol much like he did on other fanfictions involving him being paired up with Ling Xiaoyu. He also referencing of how he treats Hwoarang to buy him beer in the non-canonical anime Tekken: Bloodline.

*Hunyo wears a Black Ops gear which was worn by Ricardo "Cardo" Dalisay in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano where he managed to escape from Lito Valmoria (played by Philippine actor Richard Gutierrez) at the hospital where he was confined for recovering his critical gunshot wounds sustained from Lito's sniper rifle and the bloody fight between him and Lito which resulted Cardo to kill him by stabbing with his knife to avenge his wife's death and was later rescued by his Katipunera foster mother and mentor, Ramona and her rebel group.

*The way Hunyo ambushes Domon and his Black Devil Headquarters is how the AFP and the Philippine Government had led an all out assault against the terrorist group Abu Sayyaf.

*Katarina now wears her alternate costume which was seen in Tekken (Mobile) and her customized outfits in Tekken 7.

*Shaheen wears his casual customized outfit in Tekken 7 but with a red and white checkered shemagh and agal from his main outfit.

*Lee wears his third outfit in Tekken 5 and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection which also serves as his customized outfits in Tekken 7.

*Roderick demonstrates his Ssireum skills much like how Shindong lifts his opponents in the individual match at Episode 318 of Knowing Bros/Men on a Mission. The way he lifts his opponents is based on Ssireum legend and both comedian and MC, Kang Ho Dong.

*For the first time Lars wields his machine gun item move but not one-handed.
