Commander

Aniya meets an Octoling who wants to be known as Commander. After he leaves to find his lost memories, Aniya feels left behind and goes to find him. Unfortunately, Apocalypse finds a way to their world and threatens to destroy Aniya! (To be continued in Splatoon GENESIS)

1. Prologue

Pale summer daylight shimmers on the sea floor
An Octopus, unaware what danger awaits them,
Memories lost, but at what cost,
Rests within a trap, dreaming fleeting dreams

Author note: Sorry for the short prologue, guys. No, this is not the Octo expansion, as it takes place in the world of Splatoon 3. I was originally going to make this about Splatoon 2, but I hated it and scrapped the idea. (I regret reading my cringy writing.) I settled on deleting the entire thing and starting over; so that's what I did. I don't know how long this story will be, but it will fill in some story holes between "Apocalypse", "The world as we know it", "Splatoon GENESIS", and "Splatoon NEON". I was planning on writing this story sooner (like, last year) but procrastinated on it until I was able to pre-order the game (which I did, last Wednesday. Yay!^^). I won't be writing anymore right now, as I need to find out who the new hosts are by chapter 3, complete the story line, ect, ect...but, I'm hoping this will turn out okay. As always, reviews are welcome, and Staaaaaay Freeeeeesh!
