2nd year - Too Academy
...
Mac was sitting in the middle of the basketball court preparing for Inter-High. They had made it through the preliminaries and now they had to go through the final league before they would reach Inter-High.
She didn't doubt that they would get to Inter-High, though she knew it was a small chance that they might fail. Though, not probable.
"You're here late."
Mac blinked when an unfamiliar voice interrupted her thoughts and she looked up to see a girl with short dark hair and brown eyes standing in front of her and Mac hadn't heard her come in.
"Um… yes," Mac said putting her notebook down as she looked at the girl. She looked a little familiar, but she couldn't place her right away. "Um, sorry, but who are you?"
The girl shrugged and looked at the papers surrounding her.
"You're preparing for Inter High?"
"Yes," Mac frowned. "Though, we have to win at the final league first."
"You're confident that you'll win, though?" the girl asked.
"As confident as I can be," Mac said slowly, "can I help you with something?"
The girl sat down, and Mac could tell she was reading her notes and had to fight the urge to cover them as she waited impatiently for the other girl to speak.
"Seems like you have most of it covered," the girl said.
"Yeah," Mac said not able to keep her impatience out of her voice now. "What do you want?"
"Just curious," the girl said looking up and meeting Mac's eyes and Mac finally realised where she'd seen the girl before. She was the girl who had been watching her at the library a while back, and she was sure she'd spotted her watching her other times as well.
"You've been watching me," Mac frowned.
The girl smiled and tilted her head as she watched Mac making Mac feel uncomfortable and curious at the same time.
"Ah, I thought you noticed," was all she said.
Mac blinked because she didn't think she would admit it like that.
"Why?" Mac asked.
"Why not?" was all the girl said.
"Most people don't do that," Mac said.
"Maybe not," the girl admitted. "I was just curious."
Mac could only watch as the girl stood and gave a cheerful smile as she looked at her.
"You're known to know everything," she said, "so, who am I, Potter?"
Mac frowned as the girl waved and walked back out of the gym.
...
Mac made her way home as she kept thinking about the girl. She hadn't been able to focus after she left, and had quickly decided to finish up what she had been doing knowing she wouldn't be able to concentrate anymore.
How long had it been since someone had managed to catch Mac so unprepared? It was not often Mac had felt so lost talking with someone. At least not recently. A small spark of unease at the unfamiliar situation, she never like that, but she also felt curious and intrigued.
"Hey, Mac," Tarou smiled when she entered the apartment.
"Hey," Mac smiled. "You're back early."
"Just got back," Tarou nodded. "I have just ordered some food."
"Great, I'm starving," Mac admitted.
Mac let Nao out of her bag and dumped her bag on the floor by her bed and grabbed a change of clothes before going to the bathroom to take a shower.
She was just getting dressed after her shower when she heard Tarou calling that the food was there. She paused to scratch Nao's ear before she walked to the living room finding her uncle already seated and the sushi on the table.
"Thought we would be casual and comfortable today," Tarou said.
"Sounds good," Mac said as she sat down. "Where's Taiga?"
"He's eating with Kuroko and some others from his team," Tarou said. "They had a late practice."
"Ah, okay," Mac said.
They both filled their plates before sitting back and started to eat in comfortable silence. Tarou had turned on the television before she got in and a baseball match was on.
"Did I tell you that I played baseball when I was younger?" Tarou asked.
"Eh? You did?" Mac asked looking over at him. "You never said that."
Tarou smiled, "I loved the sport. I thought I would go pro and all I thought about was baseball."
"Not basketball? I would have thought that looking at Taiga," Mac said.
"You would, wouldn't you?" Tarou agreed. "I am afraid he never really followed me in that. He met Tatsuya when we moved to California and after that, there was no hope for any other sport than basketball."
Mac smiled a little as she looked at her uncle. He didn't seem to be upset that Taiga had chosen another sport than him.
"What did you like about baseball?" Mac asked curious about what he thought about the sport. Mac had never really watched much baseball until now. Like Taiga, she had not really looked at another sport after starting to play basketball. Though, she had looked into football because of Shiro.
Tarou continued to tell her about baseball and his best memories from his schooldays. Mac enjoyed sitting there listening to him talk. She felt she got to know him better.
"How did you meet my aunt?" Mac asked a little unsurely. She hadn't asked much about her aunt, really. She didn't know how to ask because she didn't want to bring up bad memories.
Tarou smiled a little sadly, but Mac didn't think he was angry at her for asking.
"We met through some common friends," Tarou smiled. "I was in my final year at university and a friend asked me to come with him when he was meeting his girlfriend. He said that his girlfriend would bring a friend and it would be awkward if it was just the three of them. I didn't really want to go because I had a paper due later that week. But I agreed."
Mac watched as Tarou smiled as he talked and had to smile a little.
"I remember entering the restaurant my friend had told me to come to and spotting the young woman sitting there with my friend and his girlfriend," Tarou said with a faraway look in his eyes. "She told me she was here studying for a year and learning the language before returning to the US and Los Angeles. We talked all night and when the restaurant closed, I offered to walk her back to her apartment. I asked her for coffee the next day and she agreed. After that…there was no way back."
Mac smiled a little as he talked.
"What was she like?" Mac asked.
Tarou stood up and walked to the bookshelf and grabbed something that Mac realised was a photo album and he opened it as he sat down. Mac put her empty plate back on the table before moving so she was seated next to him on the sofa. She adjusted so she was half turned toward him and pulled her legs up, so she was more comfortable.
"That's taken a couple of days after we first met," Tarou said. "We met every day for a week and just talked and walked around. I offered to help her with the language just as an excuse to continue to see her…"
Mac watched the photo of her uncle and her aunt. She had, of course, seen pictures of her aunt before. There was some on display around the apartment after all, but she hadn't seen her so young before. She had long auburn hair and green eyes that resembled her own eyes and Mac had never really noticed the resemblance before.
"She looks kind of like mum," Mac said and Tarou glanced at her.
"She does?"
Mac blinked and looked at him, "I never showed you, her picture?"
Tarou shook his head and Mac felt stupid.
"One moment," Mac said and hurried to her room and grabbed the photo album that was next to her bed. She sat down at the same spot when she got back to the living room and opened her album.
...
"Newt and Tina gave me this," Mac said. "I thought I showed it to you…but I must have forgotten."
She remembered when she got it and that was the day Seijuro had found out about magic. So, she guessed she had been too distracted and worried about him finding out to remember to show her uncle the album.
"You're right," Tarou said looking at the picture that moved. "She does look a little like my Sophie."
"Sirius and Remus told me that mum would have loved to know that she had another sister," Mac said quietly. "She was upset that Aunt Petunia never forgave her for having magic. I think they were close growing up until mum went to Hogwarts. After that…they grew apart."
Tarou looked at her and Mac knew he was probably surprised that she mentioned her other aunt. She never really did.
"Sophie would have loved to find a sister too," Tarou said. "She always wondered if she had any blood family out there. She was adopted, and she loved her adopted parents very much. But she always knew that she was adopted and was curious as to why."
"I think I can understand a little how that is," Mac said not looking at him but at the picture he still had open of her aunt. She remembered wishing for more family when she was stuck with the Dursley's. Especially when they still lived in England. "I used to hope that I had someone else. That I had more family and that they would take me away from the Dursley's. I…I hoped that mum and dad were still alive and that they just had gotten lost… and that they would find me again."
Tarou felt like he suddenly had a large lump in his throat that threatened his ability to speak, and he tried to swallow. He wished they had known.
"We would have been there if we had known," he said, and she glanced over at him and smiled a little.
"I know," she said, and he was pleased to note the confidence in her voice. "I know you would have. In a way… I'm glad things happened as they did… I met Daiki and the others, and I wouldn't be without them…"
"That's the way of things," Tarou said after a pause, "there's always a positive to find even when things are hard. You are strong and have managed to find something good despite everything you've gone through."
Mac blushed a little and smiled a little shyly at him before looking away again frowning.
"You…you don't think I'm a bad daughter to think that?" she asked quietly.
"What?" Tarou frowned.
"To think that I wouldn't change things now," Mac said. "I… I know that if my parents had… had lived I wouldn't have met Daiki or the others… probably not you or Taiga either. But I can't imagine not knowing them or you, and…and that means…. I'm a bad daughter."
Mac had finally put words to thoughts that had plagued her for a while and she had touched the subject with Koizumi, but never really actually put words to it out loud before.
"Mac," Tarou said seriously. "You are not a bad daughter. You're not. It's natural for you to think that, and you are close to your friends. That's the life you know and there's nothing wrong with liking it or not wanting to change it. We can never know what would have happened if your parents had lived, we can't know that. Maybe Sophie and Lily had found each other, maybe not. You might have met your friends in other ways, but we can't know."
"I guess," Mac said.
"I know that all I would have wanted for Taiga if I had been taken from him when he was a baby is for him to be happy," Tarou said. "Safe and happy. I'm sure that is what your parents want for you as well, Mac."
Tarou looked at her and saw the struggle in her eyes and a tear escaped without her seemingly noticing. He sat the album to the side and reached out and pulled her into a hug. He felt her stiffen for a moment before she relaxed and leaned into him.
Later when Mac was on her own she waited for the panic to hit her for having shared more with her uncle about things she barely admitted to herself, but it never came. Instead, she felt safe and like she belonged.
...
Mac wanted to know who the mystery girl was and as soon as lunch started, she left the classroom and walked down to the first year's classrooms. She was pretty sure that the girl was younger than her.
"Mac?" Yugi blinked when he saw her, and she looked over at him noting the confused look on his face.
"Ah, Yugi," Mac nodded.
"Are you looking for someone?" Yugi asked shyly.
Mac smiled a little, "just…looking."
He looked confused and she felt amused as he blushed and looked away shy.
"Can I help you?" Yugi asked.
Mac hummed, "not sure."
He blinked slowly. "Eh?"
"I'm not sure what I'm looking for," Mac said. "I'll know when I find it."
"Okay…" Yugi said clearly not understanding.
Mac gave him a nod and looked over his shoulder into the classroom behind him but she couldn't see the girl. She continued down the hall and looked into the classrooms but couldn't find who she was looking for.
"Kenzie!" Daiki said when she got back up and she blinked.
"Eh?" Mac said.
"I've been looking for you," Daiki said. "Where did you go?"
"Ah, sorry, Daiki," Mac said. "I was just looking for someone."
"Who?" Daiki asked.
"I don't know," Mac said.
Daiki stared at her and she shrugged.
...
"I don't know how I'm going to find out who she is," Mac complained over the phone to Seijuro.
"Why do you care?" Seijuro asked.
"I want to know who she is," Mac said.
"If you don't know then she's obviously not anyone important," Seijuro said, and Mac rolled her eyes.
"How does that logic work?" Mac huffed.
"Well, if she was someone you should know then she'd have stood out or something before now," Seijuro said. "If she doesn't care to show manners then she's not worth having you look for her."
"I'm not really looking," Mac grumbled. "Just…curious."
"Fine," Seijuro said. "You'll find out who she is, Mac. I know you will."
"Maybe," Mac sighed. "How is your team doing?"
Seijuro sighed, "Mibuchi is still injured. I doubt he will be ready for Inter-High."
"That's too bad," Mac said. "How is he handling it?"
"He's good," Seijuro said. "He's upset that he will be out for Inter-High but keeps his spirit up."
"Good," Mac said. "It's annoying when you can't contribute to your team."
"He'll be back," Seijuro said, and Mac smiled a little as she heard the confidence in Seijuro's voice. She knew he liked his team, and Mibuchi was probably the one he was closest to. The way Mibuchi ignored the intimidation he felt around Seijuro and used a nickname like they were best friends… it made Seijuro respect him (even if Seijuro denied it).
They talked more and Mac smiled as she leaned back on her bed and scratched Nao's ear as she talked.
...
Mac couldn't believe she hadn't thought about doing this before. She felt like an idiot not thinking about it. She pulled out her sketchbook and stared at the blank sheet of paper and tried to remember how the girl looked like.
It was a little weird to just call her the 'girl'.
She put her pencil to the paper and started to draw and got lost in it like she so often did. It wasn't until Nao nudged her hand that she looked up and saw him looking at her with wide eyes and she realised that she had forgotten the time.
"Sorry, Nao," Mac smiled. "I'll find you some food…and maybe something for myself as well."
Nao barked and she shook her head a little at the impatience from her fox. She glanced down at the paper and gave it a critical look. She wasn't perfectly happy with it, but it was good enough. The girl looked like the girl she had drawn from memory. It might not be a perfect match, but close enough.
Hopefully she'd find something with this.
She pushed off her bed and made her way to the kitchen with Nao right at her heel and found his food and watched as he attacked it.
"Hungry, are you?" she asked rhetorically.
"Seems like he is," Taiga said from behind her and she jumped.
"Oi, make a sound or something," Mac complained and noticed the amused look on his face.
"Sorry," he said but he was smiling.
"Sure," Mac rolled her eyes. "You hungry? I think I'll make some pasta."
"I can eat," Taiga said.
They chatted as she prepared the pasta and Mac had again the feeling of belonging. It was nice.
"How are you feeling about Inter-High?" Mac asked. "You ready?"
"Of course," Taiga grinned. "I can't wait!"
"Still as eager," Mac said amused. "That's good. I hope we'll get the chance to play again."
"This time we will win," Taiga promised.
"Hm… we'll see," Mac said. "I don't plan on losing."
"No one plan on losing," Taiga rolled his eyes making her laugh.
"True," Mac agreed.
...
"Oh," Yugi said when Mac showed the drawing to him and the other first years. "That's the one you were looking for?"
"Yes," Mac frowned. "You know her?"
"That's Mochida An," Kasahara said. "She's in my class."
Mac blinked before frowning and looked down at the drawing. Mochida An? That…
"Oh," she said. "I see."
"Why are you looking for her?" Sekai asked curiously.
"Just…" Mac trailed off not sure how to explain. "Reasons."
"Reasons, she said," Shishui said.
"Thank you," Mac said and walked back to the bench thinking hard.
Mochida An…was she related to Ogiwara's friend? Mochida Reiji? It had to be a link there. Why had she looked her up? What was her intention?
Daiki looked over at Mac and frowned a little as he saw the thoughtful look on her face. She was staring straight ahead but Daiki would bet that she didn't see anything of what was going on in front of her.
He knew she had been looking for the girl she had met, but he didn't understand why she cared.
"What's up with Cap today?" Abe asked looking at Daiki. "She's been distracted."
Daiki shrugged.
"Get ready!" Mac called out suddenly on her feet. "You better be warmed up."
"Great, she's back," Inoue dramatically groaned.
"Do you want an extra lap, Inoue?" Mac asked without looking at him and he shuddered.
"How did she hear that?" he whispered.
"By listening," Mac said making the other laugh. "Now, I want to practice passing. I know we do that a lot, but we can always be better."
...
Mac made her way to the first-year classrooms again the next day and waited outside the classrooms as she waited for Mochida An to show up. She felt a little like a stalker but didn't really care. She wanted to know what the other girl wanted by showing up in the gym like that.
And why she was at this school.
She wasn't sure if she believed that it was a coincidence. Though, Mac didn't know what she wanted either.
"Mochida," Mac said as she stepped forward when the younger girl stepped out of the classroom with a couple of friends.
"You found me," Mochida An smiled without a trace of surprise. "I figured you would."
Mac looked at her closely, "so you did."
"Mochida?" one of the girls said questionably.
"You leave without me," Mochida An smiled, "I'll stay and talk with Potter."
"Okay," the girls said after giving Mac a curious look. They waved at their friend who waved back leaving Mac alone with her.
"So, I suppose you want to talk?" Mochida An asked looking at Mac who realised that she wasn't sure what she wanted, but she nodded.
They walked up to the roof at the school and Mac went to the spot where she normally spent lunch with Daiki. It was the end of the day now and she knew Daiki had left already.
"I guess I should apologize for having followed you around," An said. "I was…curious about you."
"Curious?" Mac repeated.
"Well…" An frowned a little, "I love my brother."
Mac blinked at the seemingly random statement.
"Okay," Mac said and An smiled a little.
"You know who my brother is, don't you?" there was a slight challenge in her voice.
"Mochida Reiji," Mac said, "from Meiko Middle School."
"That's right," An said. "Our parents are divorced. I lived here in Tokyo with mum, but Reiji lived with our dad…and that's why he attended Meiko."
Mac looked at her for a moment not sure what to say.
"He always loved basketball and especially after he met Shigehiro. They would play together, and it was all Reiji would talk about when we met. They became best friends…" An continued, "I met Shigehiro when I visited Reiji and my dad and he was always happy and goofy. Acting all whimsical and messy, there was always some food stains either on his face or clothes. He was funny. And he would always insist that I joined them playing basketball when I was there."
Mac listened and looked at An curiously though she had a feeling she knew where this would go.
"I was…I was there when they played you at the Nationals your third year," An said. "I saw…how you all crushed them in basketball. It was so harsh, and it felt like an uncontrollable mess. It was hard to see the clear difference between them and you all. I remember how you came back out and how you turned against your team and stopped them playing with them."
Mac looked down as she remembered and worked to keep the wince hidden.
"I'm not saying this to upset you," An said clearly noticing how Mac felt. "Reiji told me you came to their school and that you tried to find Shigehiro. He felt bad for saying he didn't know where he was, but Shigehiro asked him not to. He wasn't ready to see anyone. He wanted to get away from it all, and Reiji didn't think it was a good idea to tell you."
"I suspected he knew," Mac admitted. "It's their right."
"Yeah… I wanted to see what you were like," An said. "That's why I decided to attend Too Academy. I saw a few of your matches last year, but I wanted to know more. So, here I am."
"Why?" Mac asked.
"I knew Reiji was working through the loss, and that he would be ready to get back to basketball again soon," An finally said. "But Shigehiro… he pretended he was over it. He acted like he used to, but that's all it was. An act. I didn't want to see the fake smiles and the way he tried to convince everyone that he was fine. Reiji hurt because of it too, and I hate seeing my brother upset."
Mac frowned, "you started Too Academy because you wanted to help Ogiwara? How would that help?"
"I thought that maybe Reiji should have let you know where Shigehiro was when you came asking," An admitted. "That while it might have been painful, it might also have been what he needed to get through it. He never dealt with it, handled it. And he pushed away Kuroko who was a good friend to him. He felt bad for that."
"Tetsu was very upset," Mac said.
"I know," An said. "So, I thought that if I could see how you were…if you were open to helping him then I could see if I should do something about it. I hadn't decided what yet, but I had to do something. Then you accidentally met both Reiji and Shigehiro and I heard them talking about it and Shigehiro was confused. Reiji got him to come to one of your practice matches, and they both were stunned by the difference in how you played. Shigehiro was still confused but not as he had been, and I told him to go and see you. That he needed to talk to you."
"You were the one who encouraged him to see me?" Mac asked.
"Yeah," An said. "I knew that you would listen to him."
"How?"
"As you said," An said a little embarrassed. "I watched you. I see how you talk to your team, to your friends in your class. I knew you would listen."
Mac felt surprised, she couldn't deny it. This was not what she expected.
"I know I should have said something in the gym," An continued. "I had planned to, but I got nervous and just… didn't think I should bring it up. So, I acted…well. You know. I am sorry."
Mac huffed a laugh.
"Well, you got me curious," Mac said with a smile and leaned back against the half-wall and watched An. "It's been a while since that happened."
"Then, good job me?" An asked some of the same confidence Mac had seen in her the day in the gym back again and Mac laughed.
"So it would seem," Mac said suddenly feeling more at ease.
"Thank you for the talk," An said getting up. "I have to get home."
"Okay," Mac said. "See you around."

...
Dumbledore felt old and tired. It was yet another meeting about the continuous Death Eater attacks that kept happening at regular intervals. It was worrying and fear was spreading.
The attempt to blame Sirius for the attacks was not working anymore and even Fudge was forced to accept that Japan wouldn't have given Sirius asylum if he was here organising Death Eater attacks. Dumbledore knew that Madam Bones were looking into Sirius' case now and was fuming at what she was finding (or not finding).
So, hopefully, they would be able to overthrow the old sentence and give Sirius freedom here as well.
Dumbledore was set in his view that they needed Sirius here when they found Mackenzie Potter. Though… he wasn't entirely convinced that Sirius and Remus didn't know anything about their missing goddaughter. His instincts told him that there was more to their stay in Japan than they let on.
So far he hadn't found anything to prove it, but he would keep looking.
"Albus," Kingsley's deep voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Kingsley," Dumbledore said with a smile.
"What brings you to the Ministry this morning?" Kingsley asked.
"Meeting with the Wizengamot," Dumbledore said. "About the latest Death Eater activity."
"Yes, that is troubling," Kingsley agreed. "We are working very hard to deal with it all."
"I know you are," Dumbledore said, "and we are lucky to have you all out there working."
Kingsley smiled and nodded in thanks.
"Any news about the Death Eaters?" Dumbledore asked.
"I'm afraid not," Kingsley sighed. "They seem to be a step ahead of us the whole time. And the community starts to get more restless and scared. They remember how it was when Voldemort was in power."
"Voldemort is gone, but his followers are still out there," Dumbledore agreed with a sigh. "We need a way to calm them down and show that there's hope in the world. That love is stronger than hate."
"As long as you are around, I am sure we can manage to calm them down," Kingsley said.
"You're making me blush, my boy," Dumbledore said. "I am just an old man. What we need is someone younger. Someone who can be what they need."
Kingsley got a pensive look in his eyes as he looked at Dumbledore.
"And what will that be?" Kingsley asked.
"That I do not know yet," Dumbledore said but Kingsley wasn't sure he believed the older man. "Have a good day, Kingsley. I need to get to my meeting."
"Of course," Kingsley said.
...
Dobby watched Lucius pace the floor in front of the fireplace as he so often did and Dobby knew that his master was planning. Planning something bad and Dobby didn't like it. Dobby knew that Dobby's master was a bad man. A bad, bad man and Dobby wrung his ears in punishment for the bad thought about Dobby's family.
The fireplace in the floo room activated and Dobby apparated to the room and saw the tall and muscular man standing there looking down at Dobby with a sneer.
"Where's your master, elf?" the man sneered.
"Master Malfoy is at Masters office," Dobby squeaked. "Dobby will show Mister McNair there."
McNair didn't answer but followed Dobby out of the room and to the office where Dobby knocked and entered.
"Mr McNair for Master Malfoy," Dobby said.
Lucius turned and nodded coldly to McNair and waved Dobby away with a hand and Dobby drew back and watched as Lucius and McNair shook hands and started to talk.
Dobby knew that Dobby shouldn't and that Dobby would have shut Dobby's ears in the oven door later, but Dobby had to know what Lucius and McNair said.
"Any news?" Lucius asked.
"Apparently Dumbledore went to Japan last fall," McNair said. "He visited the Japanese magic school. At least that was his excuse."
"Interesting," Lucius said. "For Dumbledore to leave Hogwarts and visit another magic school right after the school year at Hogwarts started…"
"Apparently Dumbledore has been asking questions at the Ministry about Japan and their cooperation with Britain," McNair said. "Fudge wouldn't say exactly what he asked about, though, I had a feeling that Fudge didn't really know why Dumbledore was interested in Japan at all."
"He must have learned that Black was there," Lucius said. "Did he push through the asylum, or did he get interested because he learned that Black had gained asylum there?"
"Same difference, is it?" McNair asked.
"Not necessarily," Lucius said. "If Dumbledore didn't push for Black to get asylum then it would suggest that Dumbledore has lost his control over Black and maybe he's suspicious that Black has another reason to be in Japan."
"Reason? They gave him freedom, isn't that reason enough?" McNair asked.
Lucius gave McNair a cold look.
"You don't understand Black, McNair," Lucius said.
"Why would I want to understand the blood traitor?" McNair scoffed.
"Because that is the way we can gain what we want," Lucius said. "We used him as a fall guy for our…fun. Now it will not work because everyone knows he's in Japan, so they will look for whoever else has been…ah, having fun with the Mudbloods."
McNair frowned.
"What does this have to do with Black being in Japan and Dumbledore?" McNair asked.
"Black is loyal to the Potters," Lucius said. "I doubt very much that his stay in Azkaban has changed the way he feels about the Potters. As long as the so-called Girl-Who-Lived is lost out there Black won't settle down anywhere. Why would he be staying in Japan when his goddaughter is missing? That is…very strange."
McNair looked at him.
"You think the missing brat is in Japan?" McNair asked incredulously.
"It's…an idea," Lucius smirked. "And it seems like Dumbledore has the same idea. Why else should he care about Japan and Black? We knew he wants his little hero, the next leader of the light," Lucius sneered, "back at Hogwarts. It's almost too late. She'll be turning 17 very soon."
"You want to find her first?" McNair asked.
"Think about what that can mean," Lucius smirked. "How…we will gain control over the fractions of the Dark Lords allies when we finish what he couldn't. It will give us the power we need to take the next step."
Dobby twisted his ears as he stepped back. He had to do something. Lucius wanted to do something bad to the Girl Who Lived. Dobby couldn't let that happen! Dobby needed to warn her!

AN: What do you think? XD
I am so sorry for the long wait for a new chapter! I have unfortunately hit a little writing block when it comes to this story... :(
I think I will skip most if not all of Inter-High because this is where I've been stuck. I struggle with finding a way to do it so it doesn't feel repetitive from the year before. I want to find a balance that is good, but it's difficult. I've even re-read the story to refresh my memory of what I've already written. It's getting a little long and therefore difficult to remember the details. Though, the good news is that I am starting to get some new ideas and aspects I want to explore more off and hopefully that will last. XD
Please let me know if you have thoughts about what you wish to see or what you think about the Inter-High. I'm open to suggestions. XD
Hope you liked it! XD Thank you for reading and for your patience! XD
