Richard was sitting in a room with multiple air conditioners "Man, it's been awhile huh?" the host chuckled a bit "In case you've forgotten last time, we're in India, the Hindu capital of the world. It was blistering hot, so naturally we put our contestants to work!"
It shows all the contestants in the fields picking tea leaves. Bonnie was keeping Tamera, well, less sweaty in her own Bonnie ways while Ben and Desmond were passing out from the heat. "Some teams handled the heat better than others, but that part didn't matter in the end, as they all made it to the second leg of the race without too much issue."
It then shows them all getting onto the train at different parts, with the Last Resorts taking the front of the train and the Gay Disasters getting the last cart "In this challenge they had to race to the front of the train, trying to not get killed by the other passangers. Which is either their competition or the wild animals"
Margaret and Maria tried fighting against a bull before it started tracking Rodney's orange hair. "But, to stop their competition, the Last Resorts shut and locked the door. But that didn't stop the other teams"
Ben and Desmond jumped onto the front cart, leaving the others behind. "But, they quite clearly broke the rules and had to wait their time. In the end, the Disasters, Bandmates, and then finally La Familia came in and outranked them."
From a distance Rodney and Adam rode the bull, trying their best to come in and win. But, after the bull turned its attention to Bonnie, they were going well off track. "After some shenanigans however, the Last Resorts got our final spot in the final four!"
The scene then showed the Simps saying their goodbyes, before leaving the game. "But, now that we're in the final four, the finale is right around the corner! From here on out, there's no stopping! It's a constant race to the big money in today's episode of Total. Drama. Radickulous Race!"
Intro Plays
The contestants were still in India. As usual the first place team, the Disasters, were first to grab the tip.
"That was a great turn around back there" Desmond smiled "I'm glad you mentioned that plunger idea"
"It wasn't much of note" Ben's smile seemed warmer than usual "Considering how the Simps did I think we would've made it either way"
"Hey, hey!" Tamera snapped her finger impatiently "Just grab you tip already so we can get going"
"You both do this every time you do well" Margaret rolled her eyes, agreeing with the vixen.
"You guys are really excited to pull your tips after us?" Makenna silently frowned at the two of them "Like, seriously, it's just a game you don't have to always try starting arguments"
"Not our fault they're constantly shoving their romance down our throats" Margaret rolled his eyes "They act like they're already butt buddies"
Desmond silently looked at the three teams beginning to argue before grabbing the tip "L-let's just move on then…"
Ben nodded "For the best" both boys leaned against each other to read it at the same time. "Oh, Bahamas, that place is known for wonderful, tropical beaches" the bookworm noted.
Richard was standing in swimtrunks, smiling to himself as he leaned against a palm tree "Ah, the beautiful Bahamas. I believe it's our first trip to the Caribbean. The Bahamas are known for, well, being a perfect vacation spot for Americans! It's right off the Flordinian coast. So, it's good to enjoy it before Poseidon takes the island back for himself in… oh, thirty years or so"
He chuckled a little "Sucks for them I guess"
Confessional: La Familia
Margaret had a confident smile on her face "It's the final four, which means we've basically already won" she laughed boisterously "I mean, really, which one of these contestants could beat us? The twinks, the horn dogs, or the rockers? It would've been easy with the Simps still in, but now it's even easier!"
Maria looked depressed, silently slouching forward with a miserable expression. The Mafia boss was quick to notice this expression and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt "You better not ruin this! We're so close to your freedom, you wouldn't want to waste this chance, would you?"
The redhead shook her head with a small, almost silent, whimper.
Confessional: Last Resorts
Tamera had a small smile "Finally going somewhere worthwhile. My father used to take me down to the Bahamas for vacation before selling the house to buy another three lamborghinis" her smile started morphing into a smirk "Once I win I could probably buy half this island. If not more"
Bonnie looked at her, smiling a little "I wouldn't mind just having a home for the two of us to live out the rest of our lives in. Especially when we have a beach and plenty of opportunities to get to know each other!"
"Right, that's exactly what I was thinking about after this season was over" Tamera deadpanned.
Bonnie looked off screen "What I'll do with the money? Oh, that's easy! I can't say what I'd do specifically, but I would get Tamera the nicest presents known to man"
Tamera faintly blushed "Let's just keep focus on the important part. Keeping my face on screen as long as possible"
"Aye aye captain!" Bonnie saluted.

The four teams made their way to the airport, with all of them once again making it onto the same plane. This time was different however, instead of just the teams, they had to share this plane with many, many people. It was almost crowded beyond reason.
"This is going to be unbearable" Tamera groaned before taking an open aisle seat.
"Hey, shouldn't we sit together?" Bonnie asked while walking over to her.
The vixen shook her head "No. On this plane it's every woman for herself"
Bonnie was about to say something before Margaret and Maria pushed Bonnie on the floor and stepped over her, finding an old couple sitting near the back by themselves.
"Hey, get up" Margaret nodded her head.
The couple silently looked at them "Oh, sorry, but we paid for these seats madam…"
Margaret silently smirked "You're right. You did, so how about some cohorts of mine help you move?" she turned her head as two buff tan men came around dressed in stereotypical Indian attire.
The old couple looked nervous as they were carried away. Margaret smiled comfortably as she took her seat. Maria took a moment to join her. In the background they could hear the sound of an airlock opening before shutting close.
"Let's hope this ride doesn't take long" the mafia boss smirked.
Eventually the four teams managed to get their seats. Only the Resorts had to take separate seats from each other.
"This is going to be a long plane ride, so I hope you're all comfy" an Indian man announced from the cockpit "We hope you enjoy Indian Airline, and thank you come again!"
"Thank goodness Hannah isn't still competing, she'd go up to the cockpit and punch that guy for his accent" Cord joked quietly.
Makenna chuckled "I guess she isn't the contestant I miss most, but I miss her more than some contestants!" she yelled the second part back at Tamera, who just flipped her off.
"I'm not one to hope for someone to fail… but I can't say I'd be heartbroken by that" Makenna chuckled.
Cord didn't respond as she was busy with an old, bald man sitting next to her. At first he was asking her for help with his phone, since it was his first one, but now she was just trying to get him to listen to her favorite rock albums. Which he had next to no idea on.
Near the front, right by the exit door, Ben and Desmond were seated together. To their sides they both had small children screaming or slobbering over everything.
"I don't know if this is worth a million dollars" Ben deadpanned as one of the kids started nibbling on his arm.
"Oh come on Ben, they're just kids" his partner smiled, grabbing a toy to start playing with the one next to him.
Ben frowned at him "I'm not great with kids… they have too much energy for me to handle"
Desmond chuckled "Just try to nap then, I can try keeping them distracted for you"
"You don't have to do that," the bookworm murmured.
"Oh it's not a problem Ben. I know the trip is going to be long so I'm sure the kids will pass out in an hour or two"
"...If you say so…" Ben lowered his head, before slowly nodding off.
As Desmond said, the plane ride was a long and in some ways very painful. It was harder for some than others, such as Tamera, who gagged the moment a family next to her opened a baggy with some of their food in it. But, for others it was a good time. Like Makenna and Cord getting the old man to rock out, or Ben resting his sleeping head on Desmond's shoulder.
None of this was meant to last. The next day, after everyone got the chance to nap, they started landing down in the Bahamas. All the teams had to wake themselves up, shake off the numbness before running out as fast as possible.
Cord groaned weakly, she had bags under her eyes as she fell behind all the other teams. "What's wrong now?" her fellow rocker worried as she slowed her jogging.
"I stayed up all night going through my music albums… I assumed the flight would be waaaay longer" she chuckled.
Makenna sighed "Let's hope that's not a big issue then"
"I'm sure it'll be fine!" Cord waved her hand before tripping and falling onto the ground.
The other three teams made their way to the dickbox. They were all quick to read it. "Find a map…" Ben started "With the race logo on it" Margaret continued.
"Out of the way!" Tamera yelled before Bonnie pushed both teams out of the way for Tamera to start running.
Richard was standing in some random shop. Multiple boxes and containers were filled with maps. There were even maps nailed to the wall "Our first challenge of the day folks! The Caribbean is known for pirates, and what are pirates known for? Buried treasure!"
He grabbed one of the maps from a pile, with a race logo on the back "So, they need to find one of these and jetskee out into the ocean if they want to find some lost booty! Arararara" he cackled before a parrot flew in from nowhere to start pecking the side of his head.
The scene suddenly cut-off mid scream.
The four teams made their way to the building, finding the building and the pile of maps.
Cord was quietly sleeping atop a pile of maps. Makenna sighed softly "I'll be the one who gets the map… I guess"
Makenna started grabbing maps from a pile before Tamera suddenly appeared, bumping her hip against Makenna's to push her out of the way.
"What do you want now?" the rocker glared. She was more annoyed than anything else.
The HBIC glanced down at the maps "Sorry, but this is my box to examine. When you're rich, you get first picks" she giggled like an innocent school girl.
"Whatever. I don't care" Makenna started walking over to another pile of maps.
Almost immediately Tamera came over and pushed her back onto the ground and took her spot.
Makenna turned around on the floor and scowled "Ok. Now I'm getting annoyed"
"Sorry, sorry" Tamera tried to not laugh "My hips just have a mind of their own I suppose"
The rocker didn't respond. She stood again before shoving Tamera into another pile of maps "I'm gonna go look in the pile my partner is on" she murmured as she walked away.
Tamera pulled herself out of the pile "Ugh, Bonnie! Go push her back!" she instructed her partner. To her surprise she didn't hear her partner respond.
She started looking around before noticing Bonnie looking out the window. The redhead was looking at all the houses that were for sale and debating how expensive they could be.
"Better she focus on that than me" the vixen rolled her eyes before going back to looking around.
"This is just the challenge from back in Brazil" Ben mused while pulling maps from the floor "You'd think with a million dollars they could pay some people to make decent challenge ideas…"
"You're really going to complain about an easy challenge?" Maria deadpanned.
The bookworm shrugged, "I guess fair enough." The fifth map he grabbed had the Race logo on it. His face lit up almost immediately "Hey, Des, I got o-"
He felt the map suddenly get snatched from his hands. "I got it Margaret!" Maria called.
Ben didn't even respond to her, instead pulling a map from under the woman's feet, causing her to trip on the ground. "This is mine" he announced while swiping it out of the air.
Margaret walked over and elbowed him in the stomach before grabbing the map "Listen dweeb, you're going to let us walk away with this tip, or we'll give you a problem. Understand?"
"Hey, hey, there's no reason to be rude" Desmond forced a smile at the girl "How about you give us the map back and we'll help you find a map?"
"Hmmmmm" the mafia boss stood in silence before trippign Desmond onto the floor "Let's get going Maria"
Her partner just nodded as both girls ran out "That's annoying" Ben deadpanned "But at least they're willing to leave us alone"
Desmond frowned silently. Watching La Familia go to the coast as Ben got back to work.
Confessional: Desmond
The clingy boy was wringing his hands together nervously "Those girls just walked over Ben and I, but I didn't actually try standing up for Ben. I hope that didn't make me look weak to him… I don't want to look like I give nothing for our… partnership. Especially when they're just physically harming Ben like that! It's totally unreasonable"
XXX
Still in the store, the teams continued their work. It didn't take too long for Tamera to get Bonnie working, though the redhead was more distracted by the possibility for swimsuits to be worn like in the Russian challenge.
"Hey, Makenna" Cord rolled over in the pile and smiled at her nervous companion.
"I'm a bit busy Cord" Makenna was rapidly grabbing maps and throwing them over her shoulder. Cord just chuckled before pulling a map from right above her. It had the race logo on it.
"I just woke up… but I was using this as a cover for keeping the light out"
Makenna grabbed the map before smiling "I could be annoyed, but I'm just glad we can catch up!" she grabbed Cord before running after La Familia.
Speaking of La Familia, they were running to the nearby coast, finding a local standing by four jet skis. He was wearing fake pirate attire, including a peg leg and hook hand. He was using his hooked hand to scratch his rear. Both girls had also already changed into their swimsuits.
"Alright kid, we got the map you need" Margaret raised their map, showing the logo he needed.
"Arrr, that's the logo we need!" he raised his hook hand before tapping a screen on the jet ski "This should show you the way tharrrr"
"Great costume" Maria deadpanned, not amused by his choice in speech.
"Costume?" He looked confused.
The redhead silently looked at him before getting onto the first jet ski. It took a moment getting used to the control before Margaret started driving away.
"I wonder if I'll see Pedro while we're out on the open water" Margaret mused "At least, I remember my men telling me they said their goodbyes out here"
Maria looked away, clearly sickened by that statement when her eyes set on both Bandmates skiing their way. "Well, you might not see Pedro out here, but you'll definitely see Makenna and Cord"
Margaret turned her head around. Her eyes connected with Makenna's. A small growl escaped her lips "Hold on, because I'm not going to be coming back for you"
Maria grabbed her by the waist, closing her eyes tight. Once Margaret was sure her grip was strong enough she started driving their jet ski at repeated angles.
For the Bandmates, there didn't seem to be much of a problem from this, until the waves started getting much bigger. The waves got to a point that they were making them bounce high in the air before slamming back down into another wave.
"We gotta do something about this" Cord frowned a bit. Her weak grip on Makenna was only becoming weaker.
Makenna nodded, before trying to drive around La Familia's waves. Margaret almost immediately noticed this however, and started turning in front of their new route.
"This is unbearable!" the pink rocker groaned in annoyance.
"I got an idea" Cord piqued up, smiling excitedly.
Makenna looked a bit nervous at the idea of even listening to her sleep delirious state, but reluctantly nodded. Cord smirked "Sweet" she reached forward and grabbed the jet ski handls from her.
"I don't know what the plan is but let's do it!" Makenna raised her hands in the air, letting out a loud "WOOOOOOO" as Cord sped their jet ski as fast as possible.
They were going so fast they were quickly catching up with La Familia.
"They're catching up!" Maria warned, grabbing her tighter.
"Then we'll just have to speed up" Margaret smirked before matching their speed "See? Now there's nothing to worry about. They can't outpace us"
Makenna looked down at Cord "So what's the plan now? We're not gaining on them anymore"
Cord ignored the question, looking down at the waves that seemed to get stronger from the faster swerving. "Just watch this one" she smirked, leaning back to make their jet ski back heavy when the next wave came.
On impact, they're both sent into the air, flying over the waves. Makenna and Cord raised their fists in the air, doing the rock 'n' roll gesture.
La Familia silently stared up at the flying duo going right above them. Maria looked shocked, but Margaret was already fuming.
The Bandmates then made contact with the water again, however they didn't land with their jet ski. Their ski sent them flying forward, and to their surprise, resulted in a thud on a wooden platform.
"Oh, we made it," Cord smiled in surprise. She slowly rubbed the dust out of her eyes.
As they were getting back on their feet, they heard a loud crash. Both girls turned around to see their jet ski crashed with La Familia's, causing them to start burning up and sink below the ocean's surface.
"Think the girls are ok?" Makenna worried.
"Unless they became ashes instantly I doubt that killed them" Cord looked around the platform, finding their dickbox as well as a pile of swimming gear.
"Hard to guess what we'll be doing" Makenna deadpanned while holding up the swimming gear.
Cord chuckled a little before grabbing their next tip and beginning to read it "Yep, about what I expected from the swim gear and the pirate guy. It's all in time"
The greenette walked over to her partner before starting to put on the diver helmet and air tank. At the same time Margaret and Maria were pulling themselves onto the platform. Only Margaret looked injured from the crash, having a bruise on her forehead.
Richard was wearing a full-body diving suit. He was standing on the platform they were currently on. He opened the diving helmet's front window "Our second leg of the race will continue our pirate theme of the day!"
He shut the glass flap again before taking one step and sinking into the water. He slowly floated until he reached the bottom of the ocean. "Both members of a team are to dive into the water, and go through these underwater tunnels!"
In front of him was multiple massive tunnels through rocks in an underwater cave "And in these caves, will be lost booty from pirates long since killed or jailed"
Richard started swimming through the tunnels, though the one he was using only looked big enough for one person. He swam through an opening in the tunnel to find a gold dabloon on the ground "And once you have this, you just need to swim back to the beach before moving onto our final destination!"
As the two female teams started suiting up, the further back teams still had to try catching up again.
"I shouldn't be stuck having to go through a bunch of maps. This is work for someone who can't afford their own island" Tamera was throwing maps over her shoulder, one after another, without even paying attention to any logo that might be on it.
"I don't know if anyone would fit that category here" Desmond mused from the pile next to her.
The vixen turned to him and smirked "Clearly you haven't been paying attention. I'm rich enough to buy and sell your family" she flipped her hair as she spoke.
Desmond silently frowned before staring down at the maps "I honestly wouldn't have assumed that. I assumed you were just lying to impress your partner"
"I-impress Bonnie? Bite your tongue, I can do that with my natural charm" she smirked to herself, throwing the maps behind herself faster.
"You were always looking at her earlier so I just made a natural guess" Desmond shrugged "But sorry for prying. I just thought you two seemed pretty interesting. In your own special ways"
The HBIC rolled her eyes "I don't know why I'm wasting my valuable time talking to someone like-"
"Hey, Des, I got a map" Ben walked over to them "This one flew onto my head a second ago"
Tamera shot up "Hey that is clearly mine! I just dropped it on accident, so it would only be fair that you hand that back this instant"
"No… I don't believe this is yours" Ben shook his head slowly.
"I don't care if it is or isn't, give it back" Tamera extended her hand expectantly.
"You know the rules Tamera" Desmond stood next to Ben with a warm smile "Finders keepers" Desmond grabbed Ben's hand before speeding after the other two teams.
"Ugh, we're falling behind already!" Tamera whined "You need to start picking up the slack you no good goblin"
She turned to Bonnie, expecting her to still be looking out the window, but instead Bonnie was ripping one of the maps from the wall.
"What are you doing now?" the vixen deadpanned angrily.
Bonnie just smiled at her "Clearly Richard would hide one of the maps with the ones on the wall. It's like hiding something in plain sight!" She continued to rip and tear through every map on the wall, but none of them had the logo.
Tamera rolled her eyes "That was a truly genius idea"
The redhead blushed a little "Yea, maybe wasn't my best idea. But hey, it was worth a shot wasn't it?"
Tamera just shook her head before noticing Bonnie stepped on a map with the edge of the logo peaking out. "Hey, step off that!"
"Huh?" Bonnie looked confused but took a step back, revealing the map they needed. Tamera was quick to snatch it up.
"Now we're back in this. Good thing we had me or you wouldn't have found your way out of this" the vixen smirked, before suddenly being hugged by Bonnie.
"That was very clever of you, totally!" she smiled, especially when Tamera gave her a quick hug in return.
"Right, whatever, let's just get going already. I wouldn't be shocked if one of them was already done with the challenge"
Bonnie quickly nodded "That makes total sense, let's go!" The redhead lifted Tamera into a piggy back ride before sprinting to the docks.
Back in the water, the two teams were already suited up with their diving helmets and gas tanks. Makenna and Cord made it deeper in the water first, and went into the caves.
"The ocean is so cool" Makenna smiled while looking around. "Think we'll see a shark by the time we're out of here?"
"Oh, that would be sick" Cord smirked "Imagine doing a concert by the ocean and then a shark comes in and plays a gnarly riff"
"If we can actually train a shark to do that I'm totally game" Makenna slowed down to look over the multiple tunnels. There were about six of them, so they had plenty of options.
The rocker rubbed her chin "Maybe… we should spin in a circle and go for the one we land on?" Makenna jokes.
Cord silently looked at her "I know that was probably a joke… but that honestly sounds pretty good to me"
Makenna chuckled before Maria and Margaret came swimming past them as fast as possible. "See you both at the finish line" Maria taunted as they took the path the furthest to the right.
"Ok, we probably don't have enough time for this, let's just get moving" Makenna grabbed her partner before dragging her through the leftmost tunnel.
Both teams found that the tunnels weren't too intense and strange, really, the only thing they had to worry about was making sure they didn't run out of oxygen as they started exploring.
Confessional: La Familia
Margaret had a confident smirk on her face "While those rock heads swam while talking about dumb sharks, we were getting to work"
"Don't lump me in with you" Maria growled lowly.
"Yea, yea, whatever" Margaret rolled her eyes "Jeez, you ruined my excitement for talking smack. Whatever, I just punctured one of the oxygen tanks, would've been a great twist if it weren't for someone" she eyed Maria.
XXX
Margaret and Maria's route became pitch black faster than either of them had anticipated. "This is annoying, did the platform have a flashlight?" Margaret turned to where she assumed Maria was.
"Not that I remember," she murmured back.
"This is going to be annoying as hell. Just run your hands on the floor, we might get lucky and randomly find one" both girls lowered themselves onto the cave's base. Neither found anything of note, until they suddenly noticed a faint light around a corner.
"What's that?" Maria worried.
"Probably someone else exploring these caves. If we're lucky we can just take his flashlight and leave him behind" Margaret smirked before she started floating to the corner.
Maria was about to float away and leave Margaret to deal with this by herself, when her boss quickly snatched her by her tank and went back to swimming after the light.
When they turned the corner, they were faced with a swarm of jellyfish floating through an opening in the cave's ceiling. "Well, not what I was expecting but this can work" Margaret grinned.
"How does this work?" Maria frowned. "They're jellyfish and we don't have a container. They're gonna run away anyways"
Margaret just glanced at her before grabbing her and shoving her into the swarm. "Make sure you get a good grip on one!" she instructed over Maria's screams in pain.
On the other side, Makenna and Cord were swimming through their own wide open caves. It seemed a lot more unimpressive, nothing had swam near them and there's really been no issue.
"This is a real bummer route" Cord murmured, not moving besides a quick, slow paddle every other moment.
Makenna shrugged "It could be worse, as long as we find a gold coin it'll be worth it" she smiled confidently.
Silence washed over the rockers, before they suddenly heard rummaging coming from behind them. Both of the rockers slowly turned, seeing the front of a hungry looking shark. It looked like it was smiling at the two of them.
"Never mind" Makenna sighed "This is a terrible route"
The moment they started swimming away the shark flew right after them. It opened its mouth wide open as it got closer, revealing the gold coin they needed was on the shark's tongue.
"I call not grabbing the dabloon" Cord had a small grin as she raised her hand.
"I knew you were gonna do that" Makenna slapped her forehead, but didn't try to argue. She called it fair and square.
As the two teams enjoyed their leads, the other two teams finally made it down and were already getting into their tunnels. Tamera was the first of the Last Resorts to swim through a tunnel, leaving Bonnie to happily follow right behind her.
The redhead spent a good bit of their travel staring up at Tamera before noticing something wrong with her oxygen tank. It was trickling down much faster than what seemed good. It wsa already getting close to being half way empty.
Bonnie silently glanced back at her oxygen tank before swimming closer to her partner. Once close enough she swapped their oxygen tubes so Tamera could use her full tank.
She let a small sigh of relief out when she knew Tamera was ok.
"Don't sigh in relief yet, if there's a shark ahead of us I expect you to jump into its mouth to distract it" Tamera glanced back at her.
"You got it!" Bonnie smiled and saluted.
Confessional: Bonnie
She stayed close to Tamera so she wouldn't notice the swapped tanks "I would be fine with the idea of going back up and trying to get another oxygen tank… but we kinda got the last ones lying around" Bonnie whispered to the camera.
"Tamera would get annoyed if I made us go back to the surface, so it's better safe than sorry" she smiled, though she looked somewhat nervous.
XXX
Elsewhere, Ben and Desmond floated in the same tunnel together, finding theirs was angled downward.
The cave naturally became darker as they went further down. Thankfully the walls were being illuminated by glowing worms.
"Do… you think we're actually going in the right direction?" Desmond worried as a glowing fish slowly moved past them.
Ben shrugged "There's only two more options for us to take, if it's wrong we either lose… or drown. So we can take what we get I guess"
"Encouragining" Desmond murmured when they reached a wide open cave area. A few illuminant fish flew around the room, revealing a coin embedded in something stone-like.
Ben rapidly tapped Desmond on his shoulder, gesturing down to the coin. He nodded in return before swimming down.
Desmond was the first of the duo to reach it, pressing his foot against the ground around it before using all his strength to pry the coin free.
"I think this means we're in first place" Ben smiled slightly, before raising his hand for a high-five. Desmond was happy to return the gesture, but the moment their hands collided he felt a rumbling from the ground.
The two dweebs glanced down at the ground. Except it wasn't actually the ground he was atop, instead, it was a massive squid taking a nap. It was now angrily glaring at the two of them.
The massive creature let out a horrific screech as its skin started illuminating a bright neon blue that flickered on and off. The beast pulled itself from the ground, revealing its many bright tentacles.
"Ok… I don't have a plan for this one" Ben admitted quietly.
It raised its tentacles, getting ready to slam down on the two of them. Desmond quickly handed the coin to Ben before swimming above the squid.
"Hey, uh… Oh I've never smack talked before. Squid… sir, can you just come with me please?" Desmond smiled politely, just trying to get it away from Ben.
This seemingly worked, as the squid launched itself from the ground and straight after him.
"Desmond, what are you doing?" Ben called with a somewhat nervous tone.
Desmond chuckled "I honestly don't know fully, I just know I'm in danger now" his chuckling became tense as the squid started gaining on him.
"I'll see you on the surface!" Desmond waved before swimming through a nearby tunnel. A moment later the squid slammed through the stone tunnel walls, pushing its way after him.
Ben silently floated in the same spot for a moment before sighing "I hope he doesn't get himself hurt" he murmured before swimming away.
Desmond swam through the cave, refusing to turn his head at the sound of crashing stone behind him. Eventually he reached an exit to the caves, entering the wide open ocean again.
"Oh thank goodness" Desmond sighed in relief "Now I just need to find my way to the coast…"
He started trying to look around, but it only appeared to be wide open sea. "Ah… this might be an issue…"
He suddenly heard the sound of people yelling. Seeing as that was the only way ahead he started swimming in that direction. As Desmond started swimming, the exit he used burst wide open.
In that direction, Makenna and Cord were both swimming in the open ocean, just like him. They were swimming as fast as possible, since there was an enormous shark trying to chew them into pieces. Makenna turned her body around, grabbing a massive rock to throw at it.
To their surprise, the shark just chewed through the rocks without harming it in any visible way. "I don't think it's going to stop chasing us"
"We need to get it to try eating something else!" Makenna just continued to try swimming faster.
Confessional: Bandmates
"I wasn't expecting this challenge to be so hard" Makenna admitted "I assumed the tunnels would just be empty, but nothing wrong with a little blood pumpin!"
Cord nodded with a small chuckle "It woke me up, so I can't complain too much. I admit I will probably avoid the ocean as long as I live however"
XXX
The duo continued their swimming when suddenly, a tentacle came from nowhere and scooped both of them up and lifted them away.
"This is… new" Makenna murmured from their trap.
They were pulled to the massive squid that now had Desmond wrapped up as well. "At least we're protected from the shark," Cord murmured.
Said shark was now flying at the tentacle holding them up. It clamped down hard, causing the squid to shreak in pain, letting the three contestants free.
It moved its attention to the shark, grabbing it with all of its tentacles before slamming it down onto the ground. On contact the gold coin flew out of its mouth.
Makenna pointed this out to her companion before swimming down as fast as she could, grabbing it with a confident cackle "Now we can go to the chill zone!"
"Small problem with that" Cord slowly floated over to her.
"What's that?" she looked at her partner, who gestured to another spot on the ocean floor. Makenna could see their sunken jet skis.
"Ah, right" Makenna snapped her fingers dejectedly.
Still by the ongoing fight, Desmond watched their dejection before waving to get their attention. "I don't know what Ben might say, but would you two maybe like joining us on our jet ski?"
"You'd take us on?" Cord looked skeptical "This is the final leg of the race, would you really help us compete with you?"
Desmond just smiled and shrugged "It's better to go against you two in the finale than either of the other teams. Bonnie's interesting and I worry about about Maria, but Margaret and Tamera would be just awful"
"Can't exactly argue with that," Makenna chuckled. "Thanks a ton man, if there's only one spot left we'll give it to you dudes" Cord nodded while giving a thumbs up.
He smiled back at them before swimming up to the surface, leading the two girls behind him.
While all of this had been going on, Margaret and Maria were continuing their slow journey through the tunnels. Maria was covered in sting marks and was currently carrying one of the glowing blue jellyfish to light the way.
Maria frowned as they looked around the area "I'm starting to think this route has no" the jellyfish suddenly stung the ginger again "COINS" she screeched.
"So you want to waste our time and just go back all the way to the start? We'll just be further behind by then" Margaret scowled "So we're just going to keep moving, alright?"
"Yes ma'am" Maria sighed softly, before getting jolted by the jellyfish again.
"Ugh, we finally found a coin!" They heard Tamera's voice from around the corner.
"That's them" Margaret scowled before wrapping her arm around Maria and dragging her around the nearest corner. In this tunnel they found Tamera smirking at the shiny coin, but behind her Bonnie looked like she was starting to turn pale. At least paler than she usually is.
"Ah, I see you two got the dud gas tank" Margaret smirked a little at them "I'd start surfacing if I were you two"
"What are you talking about?" Tamera rolled her eyes "Our tanks are just fine, Bonnie's just scared of the water"
La Familia's members silently stared at them, before glancing at the redhead standing behind her. She was gasping for air.
The Vixen turned to Bonnie "Tell them what you told… me…" Tamera looked surprised at how weak Bonnie was looking "Hey, what's wrong with you? You look off"
Maria could see Tamera's tampered oxygen tank that Bonnie was taking from "I think it's what Margaret said" she worried "She messed with your tank and your partner was giving you her oxygen"
"What!?" Tamera frowned "Why would you try murdering one of us? And why would you do that?" she asked the second one to Bonnie.
"That part is obvious" Margaret snickered "She wants into your pants, if you're dead she can't exactly do that"
While the Vixen was distracted with Bonnie, the Mafia boss slammed Tamera from the side, grabbing the coin as it floated in the water.
"Thanks for the coin by the way" Margaret taunted. "I'd be a bit more worried about your partner if I were you. Can't continue if you don't have a partner" she smirked before swimming away as fast as possible.
Tamera was about to follow her before looking down at Bonnie "I need to get us out of here" she murmured in annoyance before lifting Bonnie and trying to find the closest exit.
Maria watched Tamera and Margaret leave in different directions. It took a moment, but she slowly followed after her boss.
Confessional: Maria
"I'm this close to actually harming Margaret myself" the redhead growled angrily "Threatening to kill me is evil enough, but actually going that far to someone she doesn't know is worse enough. If she's not arrested by the time this season is over I'm gonna do something I won't regret"

On the starting platform, Ben was silently waiting on his team's jet ski. All of his gear was thrown aside on the platform. He was trying to contain the growing sense of dread that Desmond wouldn't come back up.
"Where could he be?" he murmured when heard something emerge from behind him.
Ben turned around, smiling slightly when he saw Desmond emerge and pull off his helmet "Hey, uh, sorry if I made you wait" he smiled back.
"Wasn't too long, both jet skis are still here so I think we still have our lead. We might be able to take the first plane ahead of the other two" Ben noted proudly.
"Oh, great. I bet the Bandmates will like to hear that" he pulled himself onto the platform as two other figures pulled themself out of the water.
Ben silently frowned "Sorry, but I think that would take too long giving all four of us a ride"
"Oh" Desmond nodded slightly "Sorry girls, but at least you can use the second jet ski still"
"Sure" Makenna and Cord chucked off their diving material "I would have no problem screwing over Tamera" Makenna smirked.
"Well, see you two around then" Desmond waved before Ben started taking off.
Ben silently glanced back at Desmond "Next time try to not make a promise without both of us being there."
"I just thought it would be good to help" Desmond shrugged slightly "But it worked out well enough either way"
"Point stands Ben murmured as they skied to the beaches, finding the host Richard waiting right by the coast.
"Hey boys!" Richard waved to them as they parked their jet ski by a dock right next to the chillzone.
"Hello host man" Desmond ran along with Ben. Once on the chill zone Richard handed them both a tip.
"Congrats on your first place lead, your final stop is on the tip" Richard smiled "So I'd start moving while you still have that lead" he gestured to the Bandmates running their way.
The Disasters started running from the chillzone, with Ben reading for both of them "Ok, our final destination is going to be in… New York City"
"Oh, fun" Desmond smiled a bit before the Bandmates outpaced him and got to the airport first.
"Glad you worked with them" Ben murmured in faint annoyance.
Desmond frowned "Sorry, but hey! We'll just outpace them in New York. I'm sure they'll be on the same plane at least"
"True enough." Ben nodded before taking Desmond's hand when they got in line, ignoring the Bandmates waving back to them from the front "We'll beat them, that much seems pretty obvious"
Desmond silently blushed as the scene cut back to the ocean.
Tamera pulled herself out of the water, lifting Bonnie against her. She pulled Bonnie's mask off once above water, trying to get more oxygen into the redhead. But she still didn't seem to be responding.
"This is the worst" the vixen groaned, looking around the surface of the ocean to try and find land. Luckily for the two of them, the beach was a short paddle away from the beaches. And not too far from the beach, Richard was standing with his chillzone.
She pulled her companion onto the beach, and at the same time, she can see a mini-yacht carrying the two Mafiosos straight to Richard.
Tamera groaned before ripping her scuba gear off and trying to carry Bonnie's unconscious body to Richard before the yacht would land. The problem was, when she touched Bonnie's skin again, she felt how cold she was starting to feel.
Confessional: Tamera
She looked sad on the beach "I want to go for the chillzone, I deserve being in the final three more than anyone. That much is clear to anyone who's seen me in comparison with the other teams. But, Bonnie sees how clearly better I am than everyone else, and saved my life. If I wait until we reach the chillzone, she might not stay… alive"

Tamera set Bonnie on the ground as Margaret and Maria's ship landed on the dock. But Tamera didn't look back at the scene as she started performing chest compressions. She tried to not gag when she leaned down and performed mouth to mouth. She didn't know if Bonnie would actually need something like that, but having her death on her hands wasn't a nicer premise.
The HBIC did this over and over again as Margaret and Maria got their tip and moved on, leaving them as 4th and up for elimination. But surprisingly, Tamera was more focused on Bonnie's survival.
After a few more rounds of compressions, Bonnie's skin was beginning to regain its colors as Tamera performed mouth to mouth. Her eyes shot open and shot ahead with her instincts, wrapping her arms around Tamera's shoulders to keep their kiss going.
Richard silently walked over to them from the chill zone, and by the time he was there he found them both continuing it. They were rolling in the sand.
"Jeez, you two got busy in…" he looks at his clock "A few seconds huh. Well, you both probably know you're out, so, I'll leave you two to your thing and your goodbye's"
He smiled a bit at them before walking to the airport.
The scene played Bonnie and Tamera's arc through the adventure. Starting with Tamera wanting nothing to do with Bonnie, to begrudgingly accepting her, to jealousy, and finally on the start of their relationship.
"Well, I got what I wanted through this season" Bonnie giggled perversely.
Tamera scoffed "Of course you did. I can't say I didn't get what I was hoping for either. Clearly I stole the show, and stole it all the way to the final four? I wouldn't be shocked if I have all kinds of shows lined up for me already"
The scene cut back to them walking around the Bahamas. Bonnie had her hand around Tamera, tucking it away in her back pocket. Both were in their normal attire again.
The Vixen suddenly got a call on her phone, which she quickly picked up "Yes?" she had a clearly confident smirk.
She listened to the call, silently nodding her head "Sure, I'd love my own reality tv show. Who wouldn't want to see what I'm doing every day? I also have to feature Bonnie…?" Tamera glanced down at her partner, who was snuggling up to her.
"OK, fine. She can stay at our new mansion. Which you will be purchasing for us" she smirked before hanging up, and continued to walk with her companion "Let's find us a beautiful house, fit for its chief inhabitant"
"You got it boss!" Bonnie saluted with the hand not in her pocket.
AN: Been a decent while since the last one. It's been awhile, so I do apologize if this one wasn't as good as any of the last few. But I had fun writing it, I got a random surge of motivation so I plowed right through. I'll be trying my hand at doing the next bit of Arcade as well, but that's neither here nor there. I really have to thank Morbid for Tamera, I made it probably very clear but I ship Tamera and Bonnie pretty hard. It just goes well with my favorite ship dynamic, the sweaty lesbian x a literal godess lol. But now we have just one chapter left, pretty cool to finally be this close to the end.
