Chapter 8: I Will Never Hate You, I Couldn't Even If I Wanted To

Everything changed when Harry collapsed in a test, saying that Sirius was in trouble, taken by Voldemort. Ginny knew that can't be true. Tom once told her how he used his snake to spy in the ministry, and how he noticed her father there and moved on doing nothing because it was her father. He won't harm her friend. And he knew that she considered the members of "The Order of the Phoenix" as friends.

Tom. Do you have Sirius?

Tom sighed. He should have known that she will get involved in this. He honestly wasn't sure why he even battered with the stupid prophesy ball.

No, I don't. It's just a ruse so Potter will get the ball that contains the stupid prophesy about me and him. I don't even know why I do this. I am sorry.

It's alright. I will try and stop him from going.

Don't hate me.

Oh honey, I will never hate you, I couldn't even if I wanted to. I love you so much.

I love you too, be safe, please.

I will.

Ginny tried to stop Harry after his failed attempt to contact Sirius.

"Harry, he doesn't have him, I know he doesn't." said Ginny.

"How do you know?" asked Harry.

"I can't tell you," she said softly.

"Then I can't take the chance that you are wrong. I am going to the ministry," said Harry.

"So I am coming with you." said Ginny and they flew in to the evening sky.

Ginny couldn't believe that she dropped her wand somewhere. She was lucky she was so good at un-verbal wandless magic thanks to Tom.

They were at the room with the arc, trying to fight Death Eaters alongside the order members.

She turned her head to see Sirius getting hit by a spell from Bellatrix. Her eyes widen when she realized that Sirius was paralyzed and was falling toward the arc and its waving curtain.

Ginny lifted one hand toward the arc, while the other was "swiping" Sirius away.

Sirius was safe and the arc exploded.

Ginny rushed toward him and put her hand on his chest as Harry reached to her side.

Magic flew through Ginny's hand to Sirius, and he sat up gasping.

"Ginny? Harry? What-" his look fell on the shattered arc and his eyes widened.

"I lost my wand, so wandless magic?" she shrugged.

"Wow." Said Sirius.

She smiled and then Harry was on his feet.

"She is running!" he called and started chasing Bellatrix.

"Harry no!" called Sirius.

"Ginny!" someone shouted as she followed Harry up in to the lobby.

When Ginny got to the lobby Harry was screaming in pain, which only mean –

She looked up and there he was. Tom. Her Tom with his jet black hair and pale skin, just standing there in a black cloak and a wand in hand.

Tom was staring at her. His heart beating painfully fast. His little Gryffindor, his Kitten, his lioness. With her flammable hair and school cloak.

They both took a step forward toward each other when Dumbledore showed between them.

"Hello Tom, I must admit I didn't expect to this old-new look of yours,"

"One person is allowed to call me by this name, and it's not you," said Tom.

"Ah yes. Young miss Weasley."

Tom and Ginny both froze. He wasn't supposed to know.

Ginny could feel the stares around her from order members and her school mates, they were like daggers in her back.

Ginny closed her eyes, she felt betrayed. Not by her friends, she knew how they will react, but Dumbledore. Even if he did know about them, he has no reason to throw it like this in to the open. She opened her eyes and a tear rolled down her cheek and Tom reacted.

"Tom no!" she shouted as he started a battle against the most powerful wizard of their time.

Her eyes widen when Tom hit the wall behind him with a sickening sound of breaking bones.

Tom groaned but stood up, ready to keep battling.

Ginny rushed forward.

"Ginny no!" someone shouted. But she didn't care. She couldn't let Tom die.

"Stop!" she called. Standing between the two men.

Dumbledore's spell that was directed at Tom was about to hit Ginny instead. She opened her arms widely and a golden shield appear in front of her, absorbed Dumbledore's spell and shattered and with it every glass in the lobby. The intensity of her magic threw everyone off their feet, even Dumbledore.

Ginny flew backwards against Tom and they both fell.

She groaned and opened her eyes. Tom's face was above hers, his hand stroking her cheek.

"Hello," she whispered.

"Hello, darling," he smiled.

She passed her fingers through his black hair, looking in to his dark brown eyes.

Tom touched his lips to hers in a first soft kiss. Their hearts were beating fast and in sync. He slipped his tongue past her lips, joining it with hers, battling and dancing in their mouths.

He pulled her closer and she whimpered. Tom pulled away from her, looking her over, trying to find a source to her pain. His eyes widened when he noticed a shard of glass imbedded in her side.

He looked up to see Bellatrix fleeing as the workers of the ministry milling in, looking around on the broken glass and broken fountain.

"I got to go darling, if you want me to leave you here, I will, but choose quickly,"

"With you, take me with you," she mumbled.

Tom stood up with a groan, carrying Ginny on his arms. Something was definitely broken in his body.

Then he turned on the spot and they were gone.

Ginny woke up in a groan. She was in a big bed she didn't know, in a room she didn't know, in a house she didn't know, with a Tom she knew very well.

"I really hoped you will stay out for a little longer. The apparition took out a lot of me after this battle and I didn't have a chance to fix you,"

"It's alright," she sat up slowly, winching a bit, and looked down on the piece of glass that was imbedded in her side.

She touched it, and then –

"Ginny don't-" he groaned as she yanked the glass out.

"Ouch."

He rolled his eyes at her and used a spell to close up the wound.

"Here, drink this potion, it will make you feel better," he gave her a glass with some red potion she drank it and looked at him.

"What broke?" she asked.

"I am fine,"

She cupped his face and he looked at her.

"Just because you don't write the words, it doesn't mean they can't be a lie, got it?"

"Got it."

She kissed his lips and asked him again.

"What broke?"

"A rib and my left ankle,"

"Come in to the bed, I can handle this, but I will need to borrow your wand,"

He did as she asked and gave her his wand.

"What happened to yours?"

"Lost it in the department of mysteries,"

"You seem to handle yourself fine without it," he smiled.

"Thanks to you. With the extra stuff you taught me, you pushed me to practice even more then I used to, and I was already practicing a lot," she was waving his wand lightly testing it with her own magic in small spells like Lomus, she never used someone else's wand before.

"My wand feels alright for you?" he asked curiously.

"Surprisingly yes," said Ginny.

He kissed her lips lightly. "Not so surprising, we are connected so strongly, I would have been surprised if it wouldn't work for you,"

"You have a point. Now just lie down and be pretty," she grinned, and he laughed.

She pulled his shoes off, and he whimpered in pain.

"Sorry love," she kissed his forehead and turned back to his swollen ankle.

"Episky." There was a click as the bone healed.

"Rib now," she told him as she pulled his cloak off.

He only wore some boxers beneath his cloak and nothing more.

Ginny stared at his torso. Pale torso of a sixteen years old boy.

"You alright?"

She looked up at his face and blushed.

He looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, shut up you smug brat,"

He chuckled.

She looked down at his purple rib cage.

"Two broken ribs, hon',"

He winched.

She mumbled the spells twice more and gave him back his wand. Tom put it away and Ginny snuggled to his bare chest. He kissed the top of her head.

"Thank you Kitten,"

"You're welcome, love."

He warped his arms around her and for the rest of the night they just slept.

"Are you telling me that my daughter is not only with you-know-who now, but that she was in contact with him for the entire year?" asked Molly.

They were in Dumbledore's office, after Molly and Arthur came to see Ron in the infirmary.

"I am afraid so, Molly," said Dumbledore.

"But how? Letters? Hogsmeade?" asked Arthur.

"No. To my knowledge, she found a diary, that turned out to be a magical twin of sort to the diary she was using in her first year," explained Dumbledore.

"So she is under a spell again?" asked Molly hopefully.

"I'm afraid not. She wrote in it willingly, and Voldemort answered. She is in love."

Both of the Weasleys flinch to the sound of the name.

"But – But – what about the way he looks? And everything he has done?" asked Molly.

"I believe she managed to forgive him for his actions, and he changed his looks for her, going back to the same body he had when he was sixteen,"

"Did professor Snape know?" asked Molly.

"Yes. Voldemort confided in him, and he confronted Ginny about it, but chose not to share that information with me. After I found out by chance about this relationship, Severus told me that he trusted Ginny's judgment."

"Her judgment?! She is a child!" protested Molly.

"I agree, but, I must say that she did showed judgment. They were friends, companions for knowledge, he taught her advanced magic, nothing dark, but still not stuff we teach in Hogwarts. Their relationship developed to something more around February, I believe."

"Valentine's day." Said Arthur.

"Probably, or there about."

"Don't tell me you are approving of this!" called Molly.

"No Molly, Ginny is a child still, and no matter what body Voldemort has he is not a child, and I stand behind my assumption, he is incapable of love. Passion? Sure, loyalty? Admiration? Definitely. But he can't love, and sooner or later Ginny will realize that, and then it will be just a bad memory,"

"And for now?" asked Arthur.

"For now we wait. She will come to Hogwarts or home for her stuff, then we will see how to proceed," said Dumbledore.

It was later that night, still in Dumbledore's office.

"You should have told me, Severus," said Dumbledore.

"I suggested it, she told me not to, and I trusted her judgment. Ginny Weasley is a magnificent witch," said Snape.

"You have condemned her for a broken heart." Said Dumbledore.

"I don't think so. If you would have read the diary, you would have seen how different he is, how different she have made him. How did you even find out?"

"I happened to be around the corner when she was talking to young Mr. Malfoy,"

"Alright. What do you want me to do?" asked Snape.

"Nothing unless he will summon you, and then we will see what next," said Dumbledore.

Snape nodded stiffly and left.

Luna Lovegood was listening to Ron, Hermione and Harry talking about Ginny, while Remus Lupin and Sirius Black listening as well.

"…And you were protecting her while she was dating you-know- who!" snaped Ron.

"Tom." Said Luna.

"What?" asked Ron.

"His name is Tom, Ginny is involved with Tom. I think the distinguishing in this case is important,"

"He is the same crazy guy! Wait, did you know?" asked Ron.

"Of course not. If any student knew he or she will be from Slytherin. A Slytherin will not judge her, I don't judge her either, by the way."

"You doesn't?" asked Hermione.

"Of course not. She is my friend, and everyone knows that you can't control who you fall in love with. Don't forget that he is gorgeous too," said Luna.

"He is a murderer!" called Ron angrily.

"And you are offensive, and dismissive and rude, and in our standard of teenagers it's quite bad too,"

"I never killed anyone,"

"No. But Ginny is in love, and she looks passed what he did because he probably trying to do better,"

"You saw him tonight! He attacked first!" protested Ron.

"Because Dumbledore hurt Ginny and she was crying," said Luna.

"What?! Are you listening to this rubbish?" demanded Ron.

"Luna. You obviously noticed something we didn't, walk us through it," asked Remus kindly.

"What?! You-"

"Shut up Ron," said Sirius, making Luna giggle.

Sirius grinned at her and nodded.

"I was standing next to her in the lobby when Dumbledore revealed that she is the one allowed to call him Tom, and she closed her eyes and cried,"

"So?!" called Ron.

"Stop interrupting!" snapped Luna.

"She obviously knew that we would find out sooner or later, and that most of us will turn our back on her, but she would have never expected Dumbledore to betray her, he didn't have to tell all of us in that lobby that Tom or Voldemort or whoever was referring to Ginny. And when Ginny shed her first tear, Tom attacked,"

Silence fell on them for a moment.

"And what about attacking Harry?" asked Ron.

"Actually, he didn't attack me, I attacked him, he deflected my spells," said Harry.

"You were on the floor, screaming in pain when we got to the lobby," protested Ron.

"I always am when he is nearby, his closeness always affected me, my head feels like it's going to explode," said Harry.

"Putting this aside for a moment, someone want to tell me what with Ginny's magic?! She was incredible!" called Sirius.

"She was always brilliant, she just mostly kept it to herself," said Luna.

"What happened to her wand?" asked Remus.

"Lost it I think in the chaos in the department of mysteries," said Luna.

"Wow, and she got in front of Dumbledore without it?" asked Sirius.

"I get that, Tom is her everything, she can't lose him," said Luna.

"She could have died," said Hermione.

"Love is the powerful magic of all." said Luna softly.

they looked at her but said nothing.

When Tom woke up, he was alone in the bed. He sat up in panic, where did she go?

"Ginny?" he asked the room.

"I am right here love," she came out of the shower, a towel around her body while she uses another to dry her hair. The pendant he gave her laying over her chest as the ring she gave him sparkles on the fourth finger of his left hand.

Tom was staring at her.

"What?" she asked in confusion.

"You are not wearing anything," he stated.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Do you usually take a shower with your clothes on?"

"Funny," he rolled his eyes at her.

"Snappy," she retaliated.

He grabbed her hand pulling her to the bed making her yelp in surprise.

He chuckled capturing her lips with his own, hovering over her slightly, barely touching. She kissed him back, their tongues dancing in her mouth and in his. He pulled back for some much needed air.

"I love you,"

"I love you too, Tom."

"What our next move?" asked Tom, kissing her neck.

She sighed. "I can't think when you do stuff like that," she mumbled.

"Oh? And what if I do that?" he asked kissing her shoulder.

She could barely breathe.

Ginny pulled his lips to hers, kissing softly.

"Make love to me," she whispered.

"Are you sure?" he asked softly, looking in to her eyes.

She nodded and pulled her towel off.

His eyes passed over her naked body, making her blush.

"Gorgeous," he whispered, kissing her lips, and taking off his boxers.

They made love slowly, gently at first, until they found their rhythm and they moved faster, stronger, making love passionately until they reached their peak and crushed down, satisfied, and exhausted.

Tom warped her in his arms, and they slept.

When Ginny woke up again she was starving. She took another shower letting the hot water soothe her sore body. She couldn't believe she just made love to Tom. Her first time ever and it was perfect.

She dried herself, stole a cloak from Tom and went down the stairs to find the kitchen.

It was obviously a mansion. An old one, but it was rebuilt, probably with magic. She wandered around for a bit until she found the kitchen.

She search around until she found some ingredients and started to mix a mixture for pancakes.

"Look who is here, the blood traitor slut,"

Ginny turned to the sound, finding Bellatrix standing there with her black mane of curls wearing a dark gray cloak.

"Back off," said Ginny, going back to making her pancakes.

"You little-"

"Bella, need I remind you that miss Weasley is off limits by the dark lord's orders?" said Snape from just behind Bellatrix.

"Snape. What are you doing here? Why weren't you at the ministry?"

"I am under orders, Bella. Being at the ministry would have contradict them,"

"Under who's orders, ah Snape?" she sneered.

"Does it matter? Either way, I wasn't supposed to be there. Now, if you don't mind, I wish to have a word with miss Weasley," said Snape.

She stared at him.

"Good bye Bella," said Snape and she stomped away.

"Thank you," said Ginny.

"You're welcome,"

"How bad is it over there?" asked Ginny.

"Your parents are quite upset, so does Dumbledore, but mostly with me," said Snape.

"Why with you?"

"I trusted your judgment, apparently I wasn't supposed to, I stand behind my decision, thought," explained Snape.

She smiled at him.

"To my knowledge, miss Lovegood staying by your side, and surprisingly so does Black and Lupin,"

"Really?"

"Yes. By the way, I got your wand back, I went to Tonks, she was kind enough to search it," he offered her the wand.

"Thanks." She took the offered wand and put it in her cloak.

"Not that you need it that much, I have heard quite impressive things,"

"Well, she is quite an impressive witch," said Tom from the doorway.

Ginny grinned and jumped on him with a kiss.

He kissed her temple and passed his fingers through her hair. "I keep waking up alone, I don't think that I like it,"

She shrugged, "Not my fault you are a sleepy head,"

He pinched her side.

"Hey! Keep your pinching fingers to yourself or no pancakes for you!"

He pouted at her, and she messed his hair in a smile.

Snape watched the exchange with amusement.

"Why are you here, Severus?" asked Tom.

"Brought miss Weasley her wand back, and some news," said Snape.

"News?" asked Tom.

"Reactions at home," said Ginny as she finished with the pancakes and started to arrange the table for breakfast.

"Right," said Tom, looking away.

She frowned and turned to Snape, "staying for breakfast, professor?"

"No, thank you. I need to get back," said Snape.

She nodded in understanding. It was a school day.

He bowed to Tom and left quickly.

"What's up with you?" asked Ginny as she put a plate full of pancakes in front of him.

He pursed his lips but said nothing.

"Hey," she said softly, stroking his hair and kissing his head.

He warped his arms around her, leaning his head against her stomach.

"Don't worry, I will deal with the mess back home when I get there, but for now I am here, and I am staying right here with you," she kissed his head again and sat next to him to eat.

"I love you," said Tom.

"I love you too." She smiled, kissed his cheek, and started to eat.

Hi,

Some stuff I forgot to tell you.

Small bold writing = Tom handwriting.

Small regular writing = Ginny handwriting.

Big regular writing is the story. (Big bold too).
