Anyway, now that I finished whining (for now), let's go to the new chapter!
Read & Review and more importantly, Enjoy!
Chapter 10: Are You Feeling O.K?
It was the day to leave school for the summer, and Ginny was sitting in a booth on the train with Luna, Blaise, and Draco.
"So where are you going?" asked Draco.
"To Sirius. He have no problem with me moving in, he said it will be nice since the order won't come over for meetings anymore, since there won't be a war," said Ginny.
"Wouldn't Potter be living with him there?" asked Blaise.
"Dumbledore keeps him with his uncles to make sure he will be safe from Tom," she rolled her eyes. Tom will never go after Harry again, he promised her.
"I will visit you there," said Luna.
"Sure you will, as I am sure the only available bed will be Sirius'," smirked Draco.
"I won't need an excuse to sleep in his bed, if that what you are suggesting," said Luna.
Draco just gaped at her. Making Ginny and Blaise burst in laughter.
"You will get used to Luna," promised Ginny in a smile.
"What about your stuff from home?" asked Luna.
"Bill packed my stuff and left them at the room I had last summer at Sirius' place,"
"I am sorry," said Draco.
"I will be fine. I really believed that when everything will be out I will have no one but Tom, I am lucky," said Ginny.
They all smiled at her.
Ginny spent the rest of the trip to London in her diary, with Tom.
You are happy.
I am with friends.
Boys?
Draco, Blaise, and Luna, you silly brat.
what? Am I not allowed to ask?
Ask whatever you like, love. Didn't mean to be snappy.
Are you feeling o.k.?
I don't know. Maybe I am coming down with something.
Maybe. When will I see you?
On the weekend. I am moving in with Sirius.
Why not with me?
To give my parents some peace of mind, for now.
You are too nice.
Don't pout.
I am not.
Yes you are.
No.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
No and stop it. You win, again.
I love you.
I love you too, darling.
When the train stopped at London, Ginny was standing on the platform on her own. Harry was heading to his uncle, Ron was with their parents and Hermione was with her own parents.
Draco, Blaise, and Luna already left, and since Fred and George left the school before the end of the year, they weren't there either. She has more people on her side then she expected and yet she felt so alone.
"Hi Ginny," said Remus.
"Oh hi, what are you doing here?"
"Came to take you to your new home. Sirius wanted to be here, but Harry is slightly upset with him, so he didn't want to show up here to take you while Harry is right over there," explained Remus.
"Make sense, how are we traveling?" asked Ginny.
"By car." Said Remus.
"You drive?" asked Ginny surprised.
"I quite like it, you get to enjoy the road," said Remus.
She smiled at him. Remus helped her to put her trunk in the car. It was a Vauxhall Cavalier 1982. Ginny stared at the coloring of the car. It was red with golden mirrors and a golden line that passed on both side of the car at the height of the doors' handles.
"I may have lost it with the magic and coloring," he said, scratching the back of his head.
She giggled, "May have?"
He smiled and opened the passenger's door for her. She thanked him and belted herself in as he closed her door and joined her inside.
They were driving for a while when Remus asked, "how is he doing?" indicating with his head to the diary that was in her lap.
"He is o.k., slightly upset that I went to live with Sirius instead of him, but he understands,"
"Why did you?" asked Remus.
She shrugged, "give my parents some peace of mind? I don't know. I will visit him on the weekends, but I won't be living with him yet,"
"It's nice of you, doing that for them,"
"Yeah, that what Tom said too, although he is less approved," she chuckled.
"He misses you," said Remus.
"Yeah, but he will be o.k." said Ginny in a smile.
"Here we are." Said Remus, parking the car on Grimmauld street.
Ginny just finished unpacking when Sirius knocked on the door.
"Come in Sirius," said Ginny.
"Hi, you settled o.k.?"
"Yeah, thank you," said Ginny.
"You have some guests in the lounge," said Sirius.
"Who?"
"Kids from school, Luna, Draco and Blaise," said Sirius.
"Great, thank you," said Ginny and went to greet her friends at the lounge.
As Ginny entered the room, her friends came to hug her.
Luna was in a blue sundress, and both of the boys were in different shades of green cloaks.
"How have you been?" asked Ginny.
"Fine, how are you doing?" asked Draco.
"You look sick," stated Blaise.
"I agree," said Luna.
"I am o.k. don't worry, want to come to help me make lunch?" asked Ginny.
"Sure! Sounds fun!" called Luna as the boys made a face but followed them anyway.
Sirius was in the kitchen with Remus when the kids entered. His eyes were glued to Luna.
"I don't think there ever been in this house people from different houses, except from Severus, and Tonks it's usually been full of Gryffindors," said Remus.
"Well, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, at your service," said Luna bowing theatrically.
Everyone laughed.
They cooked (pasta, casserole, and pie), and laughed and ate together.
Ginny was watching Luna talking with Sirius in a smile. Merlin, how she missed Tom.
"You are alright red?" asked Draco.
"Yeah, just missing Tom," said Ginny.
"I think you can go today instead of tomorrow, long weekend," said Sirius.
"Really?" asked Ginny.
"Sure. Using the Floo?" asked Sirius.
"Yeah, you are the best!" she hugged him and ran upstairs to get her bag.
"You guys are welcome to stay as long as you wish, even if she forgot that you are here and that you are her guests," said Sirius, making them laugh.
"None of us can win against her Tom," said Luna in a smile.
"Definitely not, so why try?" asked Sirius.
Luna grinned at him. He was twenty one years older than her, and she was still a kid, but he was enchanted. Figuratively speaking of course.
Ginny just came out of the fireplace, scattering ash all over the place. She was in the lounge in Riddle mansion. Tom was on the couch, sleeping with the diary laying on his chest.
She smiled softly and kneeled on the red and gold carpet. He did mentioned that he will adjust the house to be both Gryffindor and Slytherin like. She stroked his wavy, thick, black hair. He sighed and opened his eyes.
"Kitten?"
"Who else?" she grinned as he sat up.
She yelped when he pulled her off the carpet and to his lap. He kissed her passionately, Longley. One of his hands rested on her back, holding her close, while the other going through her long red hair.
He pulled back for some air. Both of them were breathing hard.
"I expected you only tomorrow,"
"Sirius kind of adopted me, and he said that I can come today… long weekend," she grinned.
"Well, I am happy. But you look sick, kind of green,"
"Don't you love the color green?"
"Usually yes, but not like this. What's going on with you?" asked Tom.
"I am not sure. Maybe a stomach flu?"
Tom frowned. Could she…
"Ginny, is it possible that you are pregnant?"
"Wait, what?"
He looked at her with a raised eyebrow. They made love, A LOT. And none of them really thought about contraception.
She was fifteen! She can't have a baby, right? Although, the thought of having Tom's baby wasn't bad, really.
"What are you thinking?" he asked softly.
Suddenly he realized that he was terrified, not only of the chance that Ginny is pregnant and won't want to keep the baby, but also for the chance that they will actually raise a baby together.
"Mostly that we are a couple of idiots. I mean, we never used contraception, what did we expect that will happen?"
"I am old, I should have thought about it. I didn't really dated much when I was your age, I mean for real, not like now," he smiled at her softly.
She passed her fingers through his hair. After counting in her head over and over again, she came to the conclusion that Tom was right. She is pregnant.
He looked in her eyes.
"I love you, Tom."
"I love you too," he whispered.
Ginny kissed him, her tongue touching his lower lip, asking access in. Their tongues danced together in his mouth and hers. He pulled off her cloak, lowering Ginny to the carpet and joining her, taking off the rest of their clothes in the process. They made love on the carpet, slowly, passionately until they reached their peak and crushed down in to a sweet slumber in each other's arms.
Ginny woke up with Tom's head resting on her chest and his hand resting on her belly.
Her belly. She thought about the little baby growing in her belly. She was only five maybe six weeks in to the pregnancy, but she knew her baby was in there, their baby. Her and Tom's.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Tom sleepily.
"Our baby."
"Our baby." He repeated after her.
"Yeah… does Hogwarts has any policy about teens pregnancies?" asked Ginny.
"I don't know," said Tom.
"Well, we will figured it out," she smiled.
He gave her a peck on the lips and rested his head back on her chest.
Ginny kissed the top of his head with affection.
Later that day, Tom and Ginny shared a shower and make themselves a late dinner.
Ginny was munching on some baked potatoes when suddenly she rushed out of the kitchen.
"Ginny!" called Tom and rushed after her in to the bathroom.
Ginny was hovering over the toilet, throwing up.
Tom held her hair away from her face with one hand while the other was stroking her back soothingly.
"If we had any doubt…"
She chuckled humorlessly as she rinsed her mouth.
Tears were running down her cheeks.
"Hey… it's going to be alright, darling, I promise," he said softly, hugging her to his chest and kissing the top of her head.
Ginny took a few deep breathes, "I am o.k. I am o.k."
He kissed her nose, making her smile.
"Hormones?" he suggested.
She laughed, "Probably,"
"How about I will make you some tea, and we can practice something together, talking Patronus maybe?"
"Sounds good,"
"Alright then, I will be right back," said Tom and left to make some tea.
After drinking their tea, Tom walked Ginny through the process of creating a talking Patronus.
Then he showed her, and they both froze.
Infront of them stood a giant silver lion.
"Amm… that's not my scorpion," stated Tom.
"Yeah, I have noticed," said Ginny, and waved her wand.
Instead of her Patronus looking like a horse, it looked like a lioness, royal and proud as Tom's lion.
"I have heard that sometimes Patronus can wear a new shape, but this is quite weird," said Tom.
"Get professor Snape, asked him to come, just send him your new Patronus," said Ginny.
"Yes, alright," answered Tom and did as she said.
Shortly afterward there was a knock on the mansion door.
Ginny went down the stairs to answer it.
"Hi professor, thanks for coming," said Ginny in a smile.
"No problem, what with the lion Patronus? I thought Riddle's Patronus is a scorpion,"
"It was, now it's a lion," said Ginny, closing the door behind him.
"Tea?" she offered.
"No, I am good, thanks," said Snape as they entered the lounge.
"Hello Severus, I hope you are up to speed?"
"Well, you did sent me a lion instead of a scorpion," said Snape.
"Right. Ginny's Patronus has change as well, from a horse to a lioness," said Tom.
Snape frowned.
"Did you two got married?" asked Snape.
"No. We can't, she is underage, so am I, Physically speaking," said Tom with a frown.
"Well, sometimes married couple have the male and female of the same animal as a Patronus… you must be bound similarly to marriage somehow," said Snape.
Tom and Ginny shared a look.
"What is it?" asked Snape.
"I am pregnant," said Ginny.
Snape groaned, "Yes, that will do it,"
"O.k. then. For a moment I thought I am becoming Gryffindoric or something," said Tom.
"Hey!" called Ginny, slapping the back of his head.
He groaned.
"How far are you?" asked Snape, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Five, six weeks. I am not sure," said Ginny.
"Will she have problem going back to Hogwarts?" asked Tom.
"I don't think so, but she will need to find out when she get back," said Snape.
"Alright, thank you. Want to stay for a drink?" suggested Tom.
"No, thanks. I have some things to handle," said Snape.
"Alright, I will escort you down, I would like a word," said Tom.
"Sure, good bye Ginny," said Snape.
"Bye professor," said Ginny.
Tom kissed her and followed Snape down the stairs.
When Tom went back to their bedroom, Ginny was fast asleep on the covers of the bed.
He gently pulled off her shoes and replaced her cloak with a set of red pajamas. He covered her with the blanket and after changing his own clothes slipped in to the bed next to her. Ginny instantly snuggled to his body, resting her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and they slept.
Hi,
Some stuff I forgot to tell you.
Small bold writing = Tom handwriting.
Small regular writing = Ginny handwriting.
Big regular writing is the story. (Big bold too).
