She woke up, it was two fifty on the clock, the door had just closed, she wasn't sure who it was, but then she heard that familiar walk of the only man in her life and settled down. The bed shifted a bit as he placed his weight on the side of it, she thought about talking to him about what her and their kids had talked about earlier that day, but he'd just gotten back from who knows what and where, so she figured she'd tell him in the morning.

He breathed deeply happy to be near her again, then stroked through her hair with his fingers. She couldn't handle the separation any longer, she turned around and hugged him, he returned the embrace happily. "Did you miss me?" He asked she gave him a look that told him the answer. "I missed you to Ro." He said then leaned in giving her a kiss, they both went to sleep a few minutes later still holding each other.

Morning:

Ororo was woken up by a jolt, looking around she saw that apparently the kids thought that it was time to get up, and they were also very happy that their Dad was back as they were jumping all over him, he laughed as they continued trying to tackle and wrestle him over and over, they all got up and started the day, soon the thought of asking him about what he'd done in the past week had escaped her mind, and she was just happy that he was back and they were all together again.
