- First of all, I activate from my hand the spell card "Card of Sanctity", it allows us to draw from our deck until we reach the total of six cards -

- Are you crazy? - the young boy with flowing blue hair asked confused, observing the guardian who was drawing four cards from his deck.

- He must have had his reasons - replied the blond boy shrugging his shoulders - All we can do is watch and wait -

- Then I activate the effect of "Aeustus": once per turn I can choose a monster on your field and destroy it, as a result you receive damage equal to half of its original attack. Hit, "Aeustus", destroy "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" -

The dragon charged that hot and intense blaze, hurling it at the beast that once belonged to the companion of the "King of Games", instantly incinerating it

- I'm afraid I have to nip this initiative of yours in the bud - the guardian intervened - I reveal the trap card "Drakeeper Mirror", it allows me not only to reduce by half the damage you would have inflicted on me, but to destroy the dragon that so easily dared to turn its back on me -

Shiyuki watched helplessly as the attack was returned to sender, exploding within its own flames (1400:2 = 700) (4100 - 700 = 3400)

- Then I can banish from my hand a "Drakeeper" monster of level 4 or lower, I banish "Panjalak, the granite drakeeper". Immediately its effect kicks in: if this card is banished, I can choose a face-up Dragon-type monster on my field and have it gain 500 attack points. All that's left is to strengthen my "Glaciatus". (3300 + 500 = 3800). Then I can add a level 4 or lower "Drakeeper" monster from my deck, come at me, "Aenon, the pouring drakeeper". And that's not all, having banished "Panjalak" activates the effect of my field spell card, so you take 800 points of damage (3250 - 800 = 2450) -

- He managed to do all of this even in his opponent's turn, there's no denying it, Shiyuki has found something for his teeth - commented the user of the archetype "Burning Horror".

- "I must try to get rid of that field spell card" - reflected the young two-toned man - "Not to mention the fact that having drawn four more cards and added "Aenon" to his hand, he surely has something in mind, he could for example hide some other ace up his sleeve. No, I must try not to be distracted" - he thought again, shaking his head - Since I don't control any monster on the field, I can special summon "Space Gunslinger" in attack position".

A tall and slender man wrapped in a long grey coat with a cloak and a sort of fur coat appeared on the field. He wore pants of the same color as the cloak, ending with brown boots adorned with spurs. His chest was covered with what looked like a kind of armor, grayish at the top and brownish at the bottom, in which there were two holsters, one of which contained a firearm. In his hand, wrapped in slate-colored half-fingered gloves, he held a large-caliber silver pistol, while the other held the ashen hat that encircled his head. (Lv: 4/ Atk: 2100/ Def: 1400)

- Next I summon "Space Bounty Hunter" - another individual made his appearance, though unlike the other, this one wore a futuristic-looking nanosuit and a helmet that covered his head entirely, save for a transparent section that allowed a free view (Lv: 4/ Atk: 1800/ Def: 1200) - It immediately activates its special power: when this card is normal summoned, I can add from my deck to my hand a tuner monster of light or dark attribute, It's time to unleash one of the cards I'm most fond of, since it was the first one ever! -

Upon hearing those certain words, the blond boy's eyes widened in surprise. He didn't believe he had kept that card, as he was now convinced that Shiyuki had replaced it with the others that came later. It reminded him of the old days, at his son's fourth birthday, when he himself decided to make him a gift of that precious card, sure that one day he would certainly need it. Could that prophesied day have arrived?

- I add to my hand the card " Cipher Dragoon " -

Listening to the name of that card, the two turned towards the father of the young man, observing how a faint satisfied smile had begun to make its way on his face

- Then I activate the second effect of "Bounty Hunter": by offering it as a tribute, I can special summon a level 4 or lower "Space" monster from my deck, but it cannot declare an attack. My "Space Penguin" is about to enter the scene -

A very peculiar bird landed on the field: it was wearing a kind of spacesuit, commonly used by astronauts, complete with a transparent helmet, inside which you could clearly distinguish the ebony feathered face, furrowed by a striking scar that extended along the left eye, giving it a threatening aura. On the back was placed something very similar to a backpack, to which, through the tubes, were connected two futuristic-looking guns, both brandished and aimed at the enemy (Lv: 4/ Atk: 1600/ Def: 900)

- Now that it has finally come to us, I can activate its effect: When this monster is special summoned, I can target a monster on my opponent's field and have it return to his hand, but since you have a Synchro monster, it returns to the Extra Deck. Bye Bye "Glaciatus"-

- Now I understand why you sacrificed the previous monster, you were aiming for this one - commented the opponent, narrowing his gaze as he watched his own monster return to where it came from - But you should know that you won't get rid of my dragons so easily-

- I'll take note of that - replied the young man - Now I overlay "Space Gunslinger" and "Space Penguin" both level 4. With these monsters I build the overlay network! From the depths of the cosmos comes the warrior who hunts down the wicked, pulverizing everything in his advance! Summon Xyz! The hunt is on, Artemis, the Space Archersteroid! -

A transparent figure emerged from the vortex created by the xyz summoning, but soon everyone could see that it was some kind of concealment, materializing soon after the whole body in all its pride. It was a tall and massive humanoid, wearing something not very different from the Bounty Hunter's nanosuit, only darker in color and equipped with a lot of ornaments and objects of unknown use and function, as well as being fully reinforced with carbon nanofibers and who knows what other metals and alloys, a well-proportioned helmet with a tinted visor wrapped around its head, making it look even more mysterious. He wielded a futuristic-looking compound bow that seemed to be made of the same material as his clothing. (Rank: 4/ Atk: 2400 Def: 1000)

- Yes, here is one of my favorite monsters! - exclaimed Isabel, who until then had followed in extreme silence the course of the duel, raising a fist upward

- But if you don't understand anything about this game - Ren retorted with a smirk, taking a punch straight on the arm - The next one will hit that dumb face of yours - the brunette countered, under the amused look of the blond man - Every time I forget that you're pretty susceptible - the boy commented, massaging the affected area.

-It looks like a fearsome monster - observed the Drakeeper's user

- Oh, you can't imagine how much - replied the young man - But first of all, you activate the special power of my "Space Gunslinger", since I used it as a monster material for the special summoning of a monster, you take 800 points of damage (3400 - 800 = 2600). I activate the effect of this valiant warrior: Once per turn, I can detach 2 Xyz materials from this card and choose as a target a number of spell or trap cards equal to the number of "Space" monsters face-up on my field, by doing so they are destroyed. Since you only have "Temple of the Drakeepers " as a spell card and I only control one monster, say goodbye to your temple! (Material: 2-2 = 0)-

- What? - asked the opponent incredulously.

- Time for a change of scenery. Go, "Artemis", Emp Shot!-

The archer took his stance, and extending his bow towards his target, fired an arrow with luminescent features that impacted against the structure, beginning to crumble as if it were sand.

- And for every card destroyed by this effect, you take 500 points of damage -

The guardian was hit by small fragments that bounced from both sides (2600 - 500 = 2100).

- This is the Shiyuki we all know and love! - Ren shouted standing up - With just a few moves, he managed to get rid of that cheap dragon and that annoying field spell card, even summoning a monster with which to incinerate his life points - continued the young man, while the blond nodded with satisfaction - Go, Shiyuki, defeat him and send him to the abyss of Tartarus! - the blue-haired one incited him again, while the girl was snorting because of his rough manners.

- I'm not going to repeat this twice - replied the two-colored as he prepared to launch the decisive attack - "Artemis", let's end this game, Hunter's Comet Arrow! -

The humanoid took five arrows from his quiver, placed them on the bow and proceeded to shoot them upwards, illuminated with an intense crimson, increasing in size and multiplying, then falling towards the opponent as a veritable rain of comets, but something seemed to go wrong, because they broke on a sort of barrier that completely surrounded the opponent's territory. After the dust caused by the impact of the comet-like rain had cleared, a dragon that had never appeared before was clearly visible on the field, and with a quick flap of its majestic wings, it chased away the remaining debris.

It was significantly smaller in size than the other specimens previously deployed by the guardian. It was bipedal but with a posture more akin to that of a dinosaur, and a stage of massive green horns extended above its head. The nearly dull greenish scales were crisscrossed with strange emerald green patterns. Another pair of wings, much smaller than the main ones and attached to the clawed legs, taking on the appearance of crimson-colored fins with a few purple hues completed the picture.

- How is it possible that it's still standing? - murmured Ren, as confused as the boy by this unexpected turn of events.

- You see... - said the opponent - I was able to save myself only with the help of this little one - he said pointing to the dragon that was roaring proudly on the field - He is "Javistha, the tireless apprentice", thanks to his special power, whenever I receive a direct attack and this card is in my hand: I can special summon him on my field and end the battle phase -.

- I put two cards face-down and end the turn. It seems that in the end I was right not to underestimate you - replied the boy with a defiant smile, glancing quickly at his friend who was snorting with annoyance - In fact, it would not have been a duel worthy of the name if I had defeated you right away - he continued, going back to observing the man.

- It would have been rude of me to interrupt your fun - declared Tatsuhiko sarcastically - I notice that you seem to be quite sure of yourself - continued he drawing from his own deck- Allow me to shake this conviction of yours -

- Now I can show the true power of "Javishta" - declared the man, raising an arm towards the sky.

- What is he babbling about? - asked the boy of Pyro monsters - Does that dragon still have surprises? -

- "I knew it," - thought the two-toned man, warning himself.

- Did you really think it was over? - asked the guardian with a mocking smile - I activate the special power of "Javistha": once per turn, I can banish this card from my field and add a "Drakeeper" spell or trap card from my deck. I choose, "Drakeeper Overlay" -

- I don't think it will be of much use to you - Shiyuki said, having understood exactly what his opponent was trying to do. - As I understand it, in order to perform special summons of "Greatdrakeeper" monsters, you need specific materials, namely "Drakeeper" monsters, but that little creature you just banished doesn't look like one. -

- And that's where you're wrong, young Shiyuki - replied the man in a rather calm tone, as if that was a minor inconvenience - You see, "Javistha" is one of the newcomers, who trains constantly and hard so that one day he can achieve his greatest dream: To enter the "Drakeepers", for this very reason once it is banned, it is considered as a monster "Drakeeper" and can take the name and attribute of one of the monsters "Drakeeper" I hold, so I choose "Aenon, the pouring drakeeper", as a result it becomes of attribute water -

- What? - exclaimed surprised Ren

- So I can use this card. I activate from my hand the spell card "Drakeeper Overlay", a card that I can activate only if I have 2 level 4 "Drakeeper" monsters in my banished card zone and thanks to which I can overlay "Panjalak" and "Javistha" whose name is considered as "Aenon", both banished and level 4. With these two monsters I build the overlay network. The power of the earth and the waters of life that keep the past unite to purify this place! Xyz Summon! Manifest yourself, mighty guardian and bury my enemies, Cupressus, the wooden Greatdrakeeper! -

A deafening roar ripped through the sky, while in an aromatic and fresh whirlwind of newly bloomed cherry blossoms, the new fair emerged, joining the din of battle. Shiyuki was terribly shocked by this immensely beautiful and fierce creature, it reminded him of the embodiment of nature itself: fascinating, but fearsome. It was as if it was an integral part of it, in a sort of symbiotic relationship, something that left you breathless in front of the miracles of creation: its entire back was covered with moss and some other type of vegetation, under which extended conformations similar to roots up to the legs, powerful and firm, so as to give the idea of being made of oak, same thing could be said for the claws, hard and sharp as the bare stone. The scales of the belly were of the same material, smooth and bright. The slender tail took on the features of a tree branch, ending with what resembled a seaweed or something similar that lurked in wooded streams. The head instead, covered with scales with an aspect and consistency similar to a bark, was adorned with a thick and voluminous mane of vegetable origin, filamentous like the stems of grass, which gave it the pride of a superb and regal creature, while at the sides of the same, extended a pair of branchy and wooden horns, which curved menacingly on several fronts and upwards and on which grew luxuriant fragrant and velvety cherry blossoms, the same ones that appeared during his descent. The being, apparently, instilled a sense of calm and inner peace; she appeared proud but, at the same time, extremely meek. Yet you only had to look into its eyes, or even just observe the long claws of its front paws, to realize that it would not spare the lives of those who dared to attack its territory. (Rank: 4/ Atk: 2000/ Def: 1800)

- Another stupendous dragon - the sapphire-haired boy commented ecstatically - Only this one has fewer attack points than Artemis -

- This is one of the biggest mistakes you could ever make, little Ren - the guardian replied to that statement.

- Hey! - admonished the boy - Who are you calling a little guy? - he asked, annoyed, he hated it when people called him that.

- Never base everything on firepower, take it as a piece of advice for the future - he concluded, winking at him.

- Braggart - mumbled the other crossing his arms to his chest

- Back to us. I proceed to detach a material xyz from this card to activate its effect... -

- Is that all? Nothing happened - replied the two-colored, remained confused because of the action just now, since nothing had changed - What kind of monster possesses an effect that does not activate immediately? -

- This will shock you not a little, my young friend - retorted the guardian - Cupressus, launches an attack against his "Artemis" -

- "Has he completely lost his mind? He will be annihilated" - thought the young man.

- At this moment the power of my monster is activated: During the Battle Phase, if this card attacks an opponent's monster, I can reduce its attack points to 0, then it gains Atk equal to half of that of the targeted monster (2400 - 2400 = 0) (2000 + 1200 = 3200)

-It can't be, if the attack were to succeed, it would be the end for Shiyuki - Ren commented rather resigned to that idea, followed closely by the girl who didn't stop staring at her friend, was it really over? Or could there still be a glimmer of hope? The blond boy continued to watch the clash, not saying a word, who knows what he was thinking about...

- You fought with honor, boy. However, that was not enough. Now, "Cupressus", Wooden Impaler! -

- I can't give up, and if I have to lose, I'll do it fighting to the best of my ability - the young man intervened - I reveal the trap card "Wall of Disruption", I can only activate it if my opponent declares an attack and thanks to it, all monsters faced-up on his terrain lose 800 Atk points for each monster he controls. Since only "Cupressus" is deployed, he loses a good 800 points of attack (3200 - 800 = 2400) - The dragon created a thick blanket of sharp wooden shafts that went towards the opponent's monster, impaling it and reducing it to a thousand pieces (2400 - 0 = 2400) (2400 - 2450 = 50)

- I set a monster and a face-down card. I end my turn. For now you managed to get away with it, but when my turn comes again, you won't be so lucky! -

- Is this supposed to scare me? - asked the young man sarcastically, drawing from his deck.

- Fiuh... he's saved - Ren commented with a sigh of relief.

- For the moment... - replied the blond boy - It remains to be seen if he will be able to turn this unfortunate situation in his favor -

- He can still win, I'm sure - replied Isabel

- For once I agree with you - continued the blond - Shiyuki has already faced situations like this, and he has always come out with his head held high -

- "I have to try to destroy that dragon without attacking him directly, or he might use his special power and that would be a particularly sad ending for me" - thought the young man - I normal summon the monster "Space Moon Hound" -

A mammal that looked like a canine made its entrance on the field, growling wildly at the opponent. It was wrapped in a thick midnight blue coat, pervaded and crossed by a golden line, ending in a spiral shape surrounded by tiny star-like dots, located in the upper part of the right thigh. The thick tail was the same color as the fur, fading at the tips, where more of those bizarre stars were located. On the front paws, there were strange golden conformations, similarly to the claws, nose and the inside of the auricles, which all took on that coloring. From the nape of the neck, there was an additional, soft layer of fur, a shade lighter than the rest of the body. (Lv: 4/ Atk: 1500/ Def: 900)

- Now I activate its effect - continued the young man - Once per turn I can choose as a target a monster of my opponent, then I send the card that is at the top of my deck straight to the graveyard, and if it is a monster, it loses Atk equal to the defense of the monster that was discarded -

- Even if it would be a monster with more than 1000 Def, it would be useless - the guardian retorted - because I would still be able to activate the effect of my incomparable dragon, and it would be a failure for you on all fronts - he concluded, observing his challenger who was about to implement his move.

- He's right - Ren affirmed - Shiyuki must invent something, and quickly -

Now they were all waiting anxiously, waiting to see which card fate would send to the graveyard.

- The card at the top of my deck is "Astral Stargaze", which has 2000 points of defense - said the young man after a good handful of minutes - Consequently, your "Cupressus" loses the same amount of Atk - (2000 - 2000 = 0)

- I activate the continuous trap card "Draconic Seal", which prevents you from attacking any face-up Dragon-type monsters I control. In this way I have reduced any hope you have of winning -

- Do you think that will stop me? - I activate from my hand the spell card "Space Mirage", thanks to which I can special summon a level 4 or lower monster from my hand, but it will stay on my field until the end of the turn, then it will go back where it came from. I summon the tuner monster " Cipher Dragoon" -

In an ethereal flash, suddenly appeared a beautiful and majestic dragoon, whose light emanating highlighted the pearly white scales of which the upper part was composed, shining also below, where other golden plates adorned its belly and part of the tail, filling every space, giving it an even more solemn appearance. Arms, chest and legs were furrowed with crimson symbols, and the latter ended with three claws of the same color, each for each limb and powerful and sharp. The tail instead, had a longilinear shape, ending with a threatening tip with a reddish coloration. The draconic snout, also ivory in color, showed a mouth bristling with sharp and shining fangs, while the pupils appeared like galaxies in movement or like stars on the point of almost imploding. The whole thing ended with a pair of silver horns placed right on top and two minor red ones on each side of the face, below and above, adding another pair of magenta-colored protrusions, curved and extended downwards. The massive apricot-colored wings completed this magnificent display, armored in appearance and adorned with three spikes at the top, while the interior contained strange bone-like conformations that spread across the wingspan, furrowed with glimpses of the iridescent biomechanical glow typical of the species. This was the card that had started it all, the first card received as a gift from his own father, but would he now finally fulfill that promise? (Lev: 4/ Atk: 1500/ Def: 1250)

- Now he can summon "Star Eyes" - Isabel said enthusiastically.

- At least you understand that to summon a Synchro monster you need a tuner and a non-tuner monster - Ren said smiling, taking again on his arm something that he wouldn't forget so easily - Ouch! - shouted the boy - You're scarier than Shiyuki. Anyway, it wouldn't do any good... the power of that monster Xyz still persists... and if he were to try... his defeat would be certain -

- Unfortunately, Ren is right - replied the user of the "Cipher" monsters - Even if he used the Astral Absorption, he couldn't do much anyway, given the presence of the seal that protects "Cupressus" and its frightening effect, it's as if he had locked it in a cage. He has to play it all this turn, or next turn he will succumb... -

- Do you think there is any hope of beating him? - asked the two friends in unison.

- There is always a counter-strategy - the young man replied dryly - And yes, he could do it. You see, I have personally trained Shiyuki and I know what he is capable of. He just has to believe more in himself and his abilities, and more importantly... in the strength of his monsters... - Upon hearing that expression, Isabel gave him a questioning look, not understanding what he was referring to, of course Kite noticed quickly - You see, unlike me, my son has an incredible gift, the likes of which we haven't seen in a long time, with very few exceptions. He is able to perceive and speak with the spirits of his own monsters, something I've only seen two other people do...albeit...weakly compared to Shiyuki's talents, but that's a whole other story - the blond explained, but seeing the disbelief in his eyes, he resumed speaking - And it's not a result of "Solid Vision", which is increasingly mind-blowing and cutting edge, but something deeper, something beyond our comprehension... -

-True - Ren reiterated, - Every time I see him having a chat with his monsters, especially with the " Cipher Dragoon" or his beloved " Star-Eyes," - the boy declared, giving the blond boy a knowing look. - Of course, the first time I met him, I thought he was drunk or crazy..since he was babbling incomprehensible things, referring to the affection that we duelists must reserve for our monsters, but the more he went on, the more I was convinced that he was telling the truth, and in the end those words convinced me, this is one of the many reasons why we became friends - he continued scratching the back of his head embarrassed - I mean, where do you find another who knows how to do this kind of thing? -

- It's understandable that at the beginning I was skeptical about it - the blond man said again, directing his gaze towards the duel still in progress.

- Oh ho... It seems that between you and that monster there is an indissoluble bond that binds you, so this makes you more special than you think. I'd say that's pretty interesting - commented the guardian - But don't get your hopes up, you'll still fall, even if you have such a power -

- Your useless threats are like words in the wind for me - replied the young man - I don't know what could happen from now on, nor do I understand yet why you are testing me, what I do know is that all my monsters are my friends, my family, with them I have shared joys and sorrows and thanks to the strength of theirs... - then he shook his head - No, of our desires, we will defeat you - he concluded pointing a finger at him

- Oh... - replied the man, narrowing his eyes - Then come! - he insisted, opening his arms wide - Show me how strong is this conviction of yours. Defeat me! -

- "Father, friends... - he thought, turning his head in their direction - "And my monsters, give me the strength I need to break down every obstacle" - At that moment, a strange blue spark flashed in his eyes, heading towards his Extra Deck - I activate the special power of the " Cipher Dragoon ": once per turn I can declare a level between 1 and 8, the level of this card will become equal to the chosen number until the end of the next End Phase, I choose level 3, however, I will not be able to special summon Synchro monsters from my Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Dragon type monsters. -

- A really useful power - admitted the man

- "You can't imagine how much, Tatsuhiko" - pondered the original owner of the monster "Cipher" - "And if it had been a particularly prolific situation for it, it would have shown off its true power. But that day is yet to come" - finished the blond hinting a smile.

- What the hell is he going to do? - asked perplexed Ren

- Come on my friends, let's give him a beating of cosmic proportions! I tune the tuner monster " Cipher Dragoon " of level 3 and " Space Moon Hound " of level 4. (4+3 = 7). Spread your wings soaked in cosmic dust and cloak yourself in the desires of those who call upon you, becoming the light that illuminates my path! Synchro Summon! Lend me your strength and together we will conquer the expanses of space, Stellar Fragment Dragon! - he exclaimed, raising the card upwards, which gave off several beams of dazzling light just before being placed on the Duel Disk.

In a thunderous, sparkling crystalline explosion, something faster than a comet and luminescent in appearance appeared, something that left everyone present speechless. It was an imposing dragon, much larger in size than the legendary " Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" or his "Star-Eyes": The tones that characterized that fair were a cobalt blue at the top and a golden at the bottom, capable of reflecting and wrapping itself in an aura of iris colors. The long and powerful tail was characterized by five spines, sharp and similar in every way to daggers or sharp blades, extremely dangerous and able, with a single movement to uproot the trees of an entire forest. The claws of the upper and lower limbs were no less: as sharp as razors, they could pierce the flesh of their opponents with the precision of a legendary sword. The entire wing stage seemed to have been completely stripped away, but this did not prevent the creature from soaring or levitating, perhaps due to the very iridescence it emanated, while still maintaining a status of magnificence. It was almost as if it were a mammoth ice sculpture emerging from the abyss, ending in crystal-like structures of the same color. In addition to the long, strong horns, resembling the crown of a warlike king, there were those silver, menacing pupils, capable of freezing the blood in the veins and digging a deep furrow in the hearts of the weakest, not to mention the fangs, capable of tearing through anything, even the toughest elements. Finally, almost the entire body was sprinkled and crisscrossed with electric blue veins, of unknown origin and function. (Lv: 7/ Atk: 2600/ Def: 1200)

- Wow! - exclaimed the two friends, followed by Kite who nodded with satisfaction.

- So this is the power that comes from the bonds that unite you - the guardian noted, observing that amazing beast whose scales radiated everything, the result of the new strength acquired by the boy.

-Exactly - replied Shiyuki - It is composed of the fragments of our every desire and of the hope that my loved ones place in me, but before then I was not yet able to draw on it, so it remained inaccessible in the depths of my deck and of the cosmos, ready to be awakened once I received the strength and determination necessary to call it back - he explained, glancing at the other spectators, who did not fail to send him nods of admiration and assent, all except the blond boy, who kept shifting his gaze between that dragon and its owner. He had never been very good at expressing his feelings, but he was probably at least proud of it - And I'll use it to send you into the sidereal void - he concluded, pointing at him, accompanied by the dragon that emitted a mighty roar, making the crystalline fragments of its wings glitter even more

- Come on! - replied the man, challenging him openly

- The effect of "Stellar Fragment Dragon" is immediately activated: when it is Synchro summoned, all monsters face-up on my opponent's field are put face-down, so your trap card is now useless. Stellar Deluge! -

The majestic being moved its wings, hurling stellar fragments that were directed towards the opponent ground, causing something very similar to a rain of intergalactic material

- I don't believe it! - the man blurted incredulously

- Wait, there's more. This monster can attack any of them... -

- I don't think you should get so excited then - replied the man - they are always in a defensive position, so I won't get any damage to my life points -

- Wrong again - replied the other man.

- What? -

- You see... I was about to explain it to you, before you could interrupt me with unsolicited opinions - the boy pointed out - When "Stellar Fragment Dragon " activates this effect, the defense of the targeted monsters is reduced to 0, plus when it attacks, it can inflict piercing damage -

- I love that beast! - Ren exclaimed, clapping his hands - Not only is he beautiful, but he has a truly amazing power. He was able to completely thwart the opponent's strategy -

- It looks like I've finally achieved my objective - said Tatsuhiko with satisfaction.

- If I were you, I would have chosen your last words with more care - the boy replied with a smirk - Fragmentary Explosion! -

The dragon began to create something similar to a sphere, causing energy to flow into the sphere, which began to whirl whirling, at the same time the crystalline fragments that adorned the wings and part of the back joined it, especially in the sides in the center, acting very similar to an armor. At that point it was thrown against the face-down card, revealing the same creature that had previously ruled, reducing it to a pile of smoking ash, while some of the crystals bounced towards the opponent, inflicting a lot of damage. You could see a smile on the guardian's face before receiving the full attack (2100 - 2600 = 0).

- Game over! - declared the young man after the holograms dissipated, striding swiftly towards the man.

On the other hand, the two young boys, still jubilant, ran towards him, hugging him and congratulating him, unlike the blond, who approached Tatsuhiko giving him a look that was not exactly reassuring

- You were great, Shiyuki! - Ren and Isabel exclaimed, so loud that they forced the raven-haired man to cover his ears - When were you going to tell me you had a new monster, hmm? - the blue-haired one poked him.

- You really didn't notice anything? - he asked, receiving in return some very confused expressions. Was he the only one who had felt that sensation just now?

- Hey, you - continued the boy addressing the man in the cloak - Now that I have kept my pact, you owe us a lot of explanations -

The group gathered around the old man, waiting for him to say something about what was actually happening that night.

- Very well - he replied, nodding - You'd better get comfortable, because I'm about to tell you something that will leave you breathless... -

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I hope everything is going well. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, even if it's a bit late. Unfortunately school and other things have prevented me from being able to publish in time the chapter of this fanfiction that I hope you are enjoying.

But back to us, Shiyuki has finally defeated what seemed like a really tough opponent and is ready to hear something he could never have imagined and that I hope will surprise you too.

See you in the next chapter.

Bye!
