Been a while, but i am back!
Sorry for being gone for so long, i got a job in May which is Monday to Friday, so i have been getting used to that and have been tired on the weekends to even think about trying to write anything. But, i am going to attempt to write a bit more frequently and update with less months inbetween each chapter. I am alive and well, no stories have been abandoned.
A few things i want to talk about first;
I have read through the comments and have seen people like the Sirius/Rebekah pairing. I feel that the two would actually go well together and it is a rare pairing as in i have not seen this pairing happen ever so it is a new thing i would like to try.
Dramione and Ronmione is not going to happen in this fic. As i said in the last chapter, I am not against it but I do not particularly like them. At best I would consider having Draco and Hermione become friends if you want that possibility but not as a couple.
Ron and Hermione, I believe that if they were a couple that would be kind of toxic as they do fight constantly. It is not always Ron's fault but I do think that people judge Hermione to harshly when it actually comes down to wondering who is right in the situation.
Harry/Hermione has been suggested along with Hermione/Viktor, Fred/Hermione/George, Hermione/Damon. Someone has suggested that there could be Hermione/Pansy, Hermione/Fleur, Hermione/Daphne or Hermione/Luna.
I do plan on having Bill with Fleur so that is unfortunately out of the question, though i do kind of see it. Hermione and Luna would be interesting, i kind of see Luna getting along with Kol and Davina but i have no idea why. I don't know about Daphne cause there isn't much information about her really and I feel like i would make her to OOC, i do not want to get into a fight because she is different to how she is supposed to be. Hermione and Pansy, i can see that.
Klaroline has still been encouraged, people don't see Caroline and Hermione getting along but i have a different view on that.
Haylijah is still in the running.
I do not see Klaus and Hayley as a full on couple, but i do genuinely see them as best friends. Bizarrely enough, it reminds me of Ron and Hermione.
Anyway, thank you for your support on this story. My gift to you is the next chapter!
When Harry and Ron arrived at Hermione's house, they were expecting the Order to be overprotective and secretive about what happened, and for Hermione to be freaking out alot more than she was. Seeing a bunch of strangers in the living room with everyone looking at ease with them, was definetely confusing.
"I'll fill them in. I think that maybe drinks and snacks would be a good idea right about now." The teen witch suggested to everyone. Once she recieved a nod of confirmation from Elijah, the girl immediatly grabbed Harry and Ron by their hands and dragged them upstairs.
Mcgonagall had put up a silencing spell on her bedroom when Hermione asked. Mad Eye was not happy with the idea but went along with it if it made things move along faster.
As soon as the trio were in the bedroom, Hermione started cursing to the heavens. Harry and Ron looked around the room happily, just letting their friend get her frustration out until she was able to explain things to them.
Ron stood next to Harry as they took in their surroundings. "Surprisingly, this is almost like how i imagined her room to be. The stick thing over there was not was i was expecting." The red head whispered. Harry snorted and nodded in agreement. "How bad do you think this is going to be? I think it's pretty bad from the amount of cursing she's spitting out. We've met her parents before aswell, that day in Diagon Alley before second year. I didn't see them down there, did you?"
Thinking back on it, Harry realized that Ron was right. "No, they weren't. But if something bad happened to her parents then Hermione would be a complete wreck. Lets not jump to conclusions just yet." He adviced his friend.
The duo waited for ten minutes until the third member had calmed down. By that point, the boys were sat on the bed, watching her patiently and analysing the comfort level that was needed. Was it a hug till all her tears dried up? Just sit in silence and offering comfort? Whisper compliments and 'It's going to be ok' to her until she offers a small smile? Or was it a make her laugh until she was smiling and practically begging them to stop trying to kill her by making her stomach burst because of laughter?
They did think that is was a 'Maybe just give her chocolate and watch your actions and statements because she might kill you if you say or do something wrong?' but they remembered that it wasn't that time of the month yet so they left that off the table.
Huffing before taking a calming breath, Hermione turned to her boys with a serious look. "Do not interrupt what I am about to tell you. I find this just as insane as i know you guys will when you know." She watched them nod and then started to explain what she found out from her family and what happened to her the previous day.
When she was finished, Ron and Harry just looked at her blankly.
"You are a Tribrid, and you have the first family of vampires as your family. Your adopted parents tired to sacrifice you but the Originals killed them all to save you. Um... ok, that was not what i was expecting but as long as you're ok physically and mentally, then I am pretty alright with dealing with the fact that you and your family are more supernatural than we are. If being a wizard is a supernatural thing." Harry commented calmly. He wasn't surprised, weird things tended to happen to the three of them on a daily basis. He had no reason to freak out as long as the threat against his best friend was dealt with and she was perfectly fine.
Ron was stuck on the fact that the most dangerous family in history was his female best friend's true family. He was angry that people tried to kill her but thankful that the Originals saved Hermione. The red head just hoped that he would never get on their bad side. "Anything else we should know?" He instantly regretted asking as he saw Hermione bite her lip nervously.
"Oh no." Both boys groaned as they knew that it was going to be bad for them, probably.
Back downstairs, the two groups were mingling happily.
Kol had immediately got into a conversation with the Weasley twins, Sirius joining in as soon as he heard the word pranks. Elijah and Remus were watching that group intently whilst having a discussion of their own.
Rebekah and Tonks somehow got on like a house on fire, which worried Kingsley and Mad Eye greatly.
Hayley and Klaus talked to the Proffesor's about their daughter, and what it was like from the teachers point of view.
Davina was wrapped up in a conversation with Arthur, which was fascinating to both ends. The Wizarding laws were discussed along with the rules of being an ancestral witch.
Everyone was oblivious to the events happening upstairs. No one could hear the yelling of profanities in the bedroom.
"You do realize that we are going to get bloody murdered my mother if she finds out about everything we've been up to?!" Ron asked rhetorically as he calmed down. The shock of finding out that they had to tell everyone everything that happened over the years, especially the things that they kept secret, was wearing off.
Harry was dreading what Sirius and Remus had to say once they found out.
Hermione pursed her lips as her boys spoke, "Hey! If I am going down then you two are going down with me, besides... I don't have all the details unlike Harry, or like you for second year. God knows what my family is going to do, I didn't tell them every detail that I knew about."
"Whoa, let's not forget the teachers! We're going to get detentions until we graduate, probably even after that if Mcgonagall has anything to say about it." Harry added with a wince.
The trio paled as they really thought about the consequences of telling everyone. "Mother Fucker!" All three said in sync.
Barely an hour had passed before everyone reconvened to the living room, the adults looked expectantly at the human teens, who surveyed the room apprehensively. The trio were clearly nervous about what was going to happen.
"Ok... if we are going to tell you everything then we have some rules." Harry started.
The Order raised a few eyebrows at the request but remained silent to hear the conditions.
"Number one, we can't get in trouble for anything that has already happened. The past is the past so let's leave it that way, and we have learned our lessons from it." Ron really didn't want to get punished for what he had done years ago.
"Number two, anything we tell you cannot leave this room. We have our own reasons for this, one of which is for our safety." Hermione warned.
When everyone agreed to the terms, the trio started to tell their version of past events truthfully.
After about two hours, they finished speaking and silently awaited the reactions. Unsurprisingly, nearly everyone flipped out as it was worse than they expected.
The teachers were dissapointed in themselves for not knowing everything about the incidents.
The twins, Sirius and Remus were horrified about how much danger their respective family member was in. The latter two just knew that Lily and James were going to be pissed at them when they see eachother again in the afterlife.
The Mikaelson's were upset and angry with what happened to their daughter/niece, but danger was to be expected in the family. They only wished that they were there for her for those years.
The Order members were shocked about how the teens had survived everything that they had went through knowing full well that if they were that age, they could not do the things the trio did.
"Hermione is definetely a Mikaelson." Hayley and Davina commented, earning themselves accusing looks from the family.
