Back with a new chapter! So far haven't hit a wall yet, let's all enjoy it before I wind up hitting a writer's block wall.
Olivia let out a breath and curled up next to him, a light sheen of perspiration glowing in the light of the fireplace, her breath still coming in pants. "Wow," she whispered and rested her head on his chest. "That was… magical."
Charles smiled and kissed the top of her head. "You're pretty magical yourself," he whispered and ran his hand over her body. "It's no wonder love making with you is magic." He whispered and lifted her chin, kissing him softly.
Olivia kissed him back and smiled. She broke the kiss and kissed his chest, laying her head down on his chest and running her fingers over his abdomen. "I love this. I can't believe we've been in the Hamptons for a day and a half and we haven't left the house or put clothes on for more than an hour."
Charles looked down at her. "Where do you want to go my love?"
Olivia smiled and looked up at him. "The beach. Maybe a picnic for dinner on the beach?"
Charles smiled and placed a chaste kiss on her lips. "That can be arranged. But we need to either order food for it or get up and go grocery shopping to get some food to bring on the picnic with us."
Olivia groaned. "We should get up and go grocery shopping anyway for the next day or so. Maybe stock the pantry with non-perishables, so we have some semblance of food when we come back."
Charles ran his hands over her silky smooth skin. "We can do that. The grocery store is down the road. It'll take us about an hour tops to go get food."
Olivia sat up and looked down at him, her hair framing her face. "Then when we get back I'll have to get ready for our picnic. Shower, shave my legs, do my hair and makeup. Get dressed in the absolutely ethereal dress I brought with me to go to the beach in."
Charles sat up and kissed her neck. "We better get dressed and go to the store, or I think I'm going to ravish you again," he whispered in her ear.
Olivia shivered. "I need a break," she whispered and giggled. "Come on," she stood up and held out her hand. "Let's get dressed and go to the grocery store."
Charles stood up and took her hand. "I wish it was legal and socially acceptable to go out in public naked. You should never be in clothes."
Olivia blushed. "Oh, come on. I do not have the body I did when I was 20 anymore."
Charles shrugged. "I don't know what your body looked like at 20, but I can almost guarantee that your body now is more breathtaking than it was at 20. You've lived. And every mark, blemish, scar, everything, is proof of that. And I think that's more beautiful than a woman who hasn't lived and has flawless skin on her body." He held her hips. "But your body, your body is perfect."
Olivia looked at him. "Charles, a lot of these scars are from a psychopath who kidnapped me. Not exactly fond memories I like to look back on."
Charles caressed her face. "I know they're not. But the scars are just proof that what tried to kill you, failed. Be proud of those scars. You walked through fire and came out the other side."
Olivia felt tears prick her eyes and averted her eyes from his. "For a long time I thought he ruined my body and that no one could look at my body and be truly okay with my scars, that they were looking at me with pity. It crushed me for a long time, and I think a part of me still feels that way. Even after so long since he kidnapped and attacked me, because I still have a belief that I'm not lovable. That one day you're going to wake up and realize that you can do so much better than me. I struggle all the time with those beliefs. And I'm trying to get those thoughts out of my head. I'm doing my best to push them aside. But every now and then they creep into my mind and it's horrid."
Charles kissed her softly. "Hey, I can't do better than you, because you're the best there is." He wiped away the tears that started to fall. "I can only assure you that those thoughts aren't true, that you are immensely lovable, that I don't pity you, not because of your scars or anything else. You don't need my pity. And he most definitely didn't ruin your gorgeous body."
Olivia smiled and looked at the floor, then looked back into his eyes. "I love you. So damn much." She wrapped her arms around him. "Let's get dressed so we can embark on our perfect date tonight and then come back from the beach and fall into each other's arms again."
Charles held her hips a little tighter, keeping her where she was for just a moment longer, he leaned in and kissed her softly. When he pulled away he smiled. "I love you so damn much too Olivia Margaret Benson."
Olivia smiled. "Come on," she placed a chaste kiss on his lips and picked up her clothes and pulled him into the bedroom, starting to get redressed.
Charles followed her and got dressed and then they slipped into shoes and headed out to the grocery store, picking up things for dinner, and for the next day, since they were leaving early Monday morning. They also picked up some pantry stables that were non perishable, so when they came back in a few weeks with the girls and Noah, they'd have some kind of food in the house, and would only need to pick up some meat and fresh veggies in order to make dinners for the family. He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her head after they packed up the car. "Let's get back to the house. You get ready and I'll unload the car and make dinner."
Olivia leaned into him and smiled. "Mm, you spoil me."
Charles smiled. "I'd argue you spoil me with how drop dead gorgeous you look when we go out."
Olivia looked up at him. "I'm glad you like how I clean up."
They got into the car and he rested his hand on her thigh. "You know I love you in anything you wear, right?"
Olivia smiled and picked his hand up and kissed his knuckles. "I know, my love." She laced their fingers together and rested their hands in her lap. "I know you find me sexy regardless of what I have on, it's one of the things that has me smitten with you."
Charles pulled their hands over and kissed her knuckles. "As long as you know that. I don't want you ever thinking that I don't think you're sexy like this. Or when you just wake up in the morning, naked or not."
Olivia smiled. "I'm glad you find me sexy no matter what. Because I find you sexy no matter what. If our marathon of sex we've had since we've been here hasn't shown you enough, I will always tell you that, because it's a hundred percent true."
Charles smirked and pulled into the driveway then into the garage, turning the car off and closing the garage door. "Want to make out for a few minutes before we get ready for our date?"
Olivia unbuckled her seatbelt and leaned over the center console and kissed him lightly. "As much as I would love that, we both know it will lead to sex, and then we won't get to the beach until it's completely dark out, and I'd like to go while there's still a little light left."
Charles kissed her back then stroked her hair, listening to her. "Okay," he whispered. "I can be a good boy and behave, I can wait. I will wait. Because you're worth the wait."
Olivia blushed. "I'm going to go inside before I climb over the console and have my way with you, because I need to get ready," she giggled and kissed him quickly. "Unless you need help carrying in the groceries."
Charles looked over at her. "No, go get ready. I've got the groceries."
Olivia gently squeezed his bicep. "I figured that my big, strong man had the groceries under control, but I figured I'd ask anyway."
Charles groaned gently. "You're a tease."
Olivia bit her bottom lip. "The sooner we have dinner on the beach the sooner we can have sex," she whispered and kissed him once more. "And that my love is a promise, not a tease."
Charles looked at her and watched her get out of the car. He let out a breath and got out of the car and started bringing in groceries. He walked inside and heard her humming coming from the master bedroom. He smiled.
Olivia walked into the en-suite bathroom with her panties and bra and started the shower. She took her hair down and continued to hum as she waited for the water to come to temperature. Once it did, she stepped into the shower and started washing her hair. She put conditioner in her hair and let it sit as she washed her body and shaved her legs. She rinsed off her body and her hair and stepped out of the shower, starting to hum again.
She dried herself off and slipped into her nude strapless bra and panty set. She slipped into her robe and blow dried her hair, adding a curl to her hair. She put on some natural makeup and walked out to the bedroom, smiling to herself. "Dinner smells amazing baby," she called out to him.
Charles smiled. "Almost done. You almost ready?"
Olivia walked out to the kitchen and smiled, kissing him softly, still in her robe. "I just need to put on my dress and my shoes. Then I'll be ready to go."
Charles looked at her and smiled. "You look beautiful just like this. Seeing you in your dress… I'm gonna forget how to breathe."
Olivia blushed. "You're so sweet to me," she whispered. "Okay, I'm going to go get dressed," she smiled and kissed him soundly on the lips, wiping the color from his lips and she winked. "Be out in a minute." She walked back into the bedroom and slipped into her dress, a mesh overlay with flowers on it, and underneath was a short nude colored dress. It had spaghetti straps that criss crossed in the back and came to a deep V neckline. She slipped into her white strappy sandals and walked out. "Ready to see me?"
Charles looked toward where her voice was coming from and he smiled. "Always ready."
Olivia stepped out from the bedroom and walked into the kitchen, walking slowly. "Here I am."
Charles watched her walk towards him, speechless. "I— wow." It was all he could manage. She looked drop dead gorgeous.
Olivia bit her bottom lip. "I hope you like it."
Charles rushed to her and caressed her face. "I— Livia, I love it. You look… absolutely stunning."
Olivia smiled. "I'm glad you think so. I thought this would be nice for a beach date."
Charles returned her smile. "I think you were definitely right," he whispered and kissed her softly.
Olivia kissed him back before breaking it. "You haven't gotten the full effect yet." She spun around and the float skirt twirled with her. She stopped after a few turns so she didn't get dizzy. "And it has pockets!"
Charles smiled. "Well now that is a perfect dress."
Olivia giggled and wrapped her arms around Charles's waist. "Let's go."
Charles put the finishing touches on packing their picnic basket. "I brought some wine and plastic wine glasses with us too. Picnic blanket is in the car. I'm ready whenever you are."
Olivia took his hand and gently swung their hands between them. In this moment she felt thirty years younger, like it was her first date with someone she liked so much, like their relationship was brand new, even though they were married. "Take me to the beach and spoil me, so we can come back here and I can spoil you."
