Chapter 6
Guest- Fair enough. That's to be expected when something new comes in this site. I love this site and all, but dang. There is a lot of stuff here that makes me understand why fanfiction has a bad reputation with some people.
That being said, I wouldn't call myself a talented writer. I'm just doing what just comes natural or I feel is right. Doesn't mean it's right all the time for stories.
Crazypumpdude- Well, at the beginning yeah, but now, he just wants to make peace, but his pride prevents him from doing so. Basically, it went from, "You're incompetent and your way of doing things is inefficient. I'm taking going to run a kingdom and it's going to be better than yours" to "My pride is too strong for me to end our grudge, so I'm going to get someone you love to do it for me instead."
Hazbin Hotel
"Okay, we're all ready to go?" Asked Charlie, eyes sparkling as she looked at her employees and her clients. All just nodded, making Charlie squeal in joy. "Okay! As head of this project, I say that the first activity we do is a group one and it's a simple one. One that should help with the first step in redemption!" She then gestured towards a circle of seats and motioned for everyone to take a seat. "We'll sit around in a circle and confess what sins we did that landed us here and then try to help each other out in redeeming ourselves." Everyone looked at each other upon hearing the activity before looking at Charlie. Soon, one of her patrons spoke up.
"Uh, pardon me, but…how exactly does that help us be redeemed?" Asked Mayberry, the first client that Charlie had spoke when she along with a handful of others had arrived to be given a shot of redemption. It seemed like a bad idea to come here so she can be redeemed and go to heaven, especially after that TV interview involving that news station where the princess got into a fight with both reporters, one of which ended up catching on fire and having to be sent to the hospital for third degree burns, but she decided to try it on the advise of a demon girl with a lab coat, saying it wasn't as bad as the interview had made it out to be. That and she honestly had nothing to lose but some time.
"Well, I figured that, since you all obviously regret what you did to end up here, I thought that you all telling each other what you committed can help you all understand each other and try to help one another in redeeming yourselves." Explained Charlie. "Think of it like finding common ground and reassuring yourselves that there are people that made the same mistake as you." Mayberry and the other clients pursed their lips or looked to the floor at that, unsure if it was as much as a good idea as the princess thought it was. Still, if that was what she wanted.
Soon, everyone took a seat in the circle with Charlie and some of her employees the only ones still standing. Once everyone was seated, Charlie began.
"Okay, first off, let's start off with you miss Mayberry." Said Charlie, looking at the sinner with sparkles in her eyes. "Tell us how you ended up in hell?" Gulping, Mayberry looked at her assigned psychiatrist, an humanoid demon dressed in a plague doctor uniform, why the hotel thought that was a good uniform for their psychiatrists was beyond her, but she could say the same with the metal guards with permanent scowls on their metal faces that stayed motionless in key areas of the hotel, before speaking.
"Well, before I went to hell, I was a good person." Said Mayberry. "Back in the living world, I was a teacher for an elementary school. I loved my job. I loved teaching the next generation how to do simple math equations and to love being at school. I didn't do a single wrong thing in my entire teaching career. I never spanked my students. I never yelled at them. I didn't even get angry when one of them ruined my favorite skirt." Her psychiatrist was putting all of this down in a notepad of his while everyone was listening in intently, wondering what had caused her to come here in hell as it didn't seem she was the type to come to hell. Then again, the same could be same with the other clients.
"Okay, then how about you tell us how you committed a sin then, miss Mayberry?" Asked Charlie, upset that such a sweet woman would be in hell after what she had just told them all.
"Well, it all happened when it was my husband's birthday." Explained Mayberry as she recalled that day. Just thinking of it caused her hair to rise up in anger and for her eyes to glow bright red. Nonetheless she continued. "I've forgotten about it and so I decided to call him up and do a singalong with my class as a quick birthday present for him." She then growled out loud like a tiger. "But when I contacted him with my computer, I saw him fucking with some two-bit broad with a southern accent. That's when I lost control and I killed him and nearly murdered that whore." Her teeth began to grow razor sharp and her horns began to grow bigger as she recalled how her entire life went down the drain. The love of her life. The man that she wanted to have a family with betrayed her just to get it on with a cannibal woman, who was married, which he also knew when he fucked that whore, just because she had a bigger pair than her. Mayberry vision was about to go red entirely when Charlie managed to get her attention.
"Miss Mayberry, please calm down." Pleaded Charlie as she placed a hand on her shoulder as she gently made Mayberry look at her. The Princess' eyes were full of sympathy and kindness as she tried to calm down the sinner so that she didn't go and hurt anyone or herself. Before everyone's eyes, Charlie then brought Miss Mayberry into a hug, surprising all, including the goat-like sinner. Rubbing Mayberry's back with one hand, Charlie softly spoke to her. "It's okay. You're among friends here. We'll get you through this. I promise." Truth be told, Charlie didn't think Mayberry's sin was going to be bad as she seemed like a genuine good person, but she was caught unprepared with the exact details. It made her feel so sorry for the woman. Having the love of your life cheat on you behind your back? That is just something that Charlie couldn't help but feel sorry for. She couldn't imagine what she would do if Vaggie did such a thing to her or if she, hell forbid it, cheated behind Vaggie's back. Just the thought of either scenario both disgusted and frightened the princess. Moving on, she was going to help Mayberry be redeemed and be on her way to heaven. And so are the rest of her clients.
After a minute of back rubbing, Charlie stopped and moved away from the goat sinner, smiling as Mayberry looked at her, stunned at what she just did, but now calm. It took a cough from one of the other clients to get her to come back to her senses.
"Anyway, it was only after killing my husband and hurting that whore, that I realized it was all airing back at my classroom." Said Mayberry, shame filling her as she remembered her death. "In front of my children. That's right. I committed homicide in front of a bunch of impressionable, innocent, and naïve children that had no right to be exposed to the harsh realities of life at that age. The shame of doing it in front of them made me snap out of it and kill myself." A psychiatrist next to Mayberry wrote all this down, getting a good picture of what needs to be done and how to do it. Sighing as she finished her story, she looked at everyone, including the princess. "So, that's how I ended up here. All because of that whore and my husband's cheating ways. Any questions?" A male sinner with dog like features raised his hand.
"Yeah, uh. What happened to that whore and your husband?" Asked the sinner. "Can't imagine them being safe from you when you found them here in hell."
"Well, for that bitch, she survived my assault." Growled Mayberry, remembering all the things that happened because that whore survived. "So, I hired some assassins to go kill her."
"I.M.P.?" Asked another sinner, this one a fish-like sinner. Upon seeing Mayberry nod, he spoke again. "Cause those guys are pretty excellent on the job. I hired them once for a job for a bastard that killed me for just looking at his wife and they did the job well enough. Blew up an entire mall though to get him, but I don't give a damn. Bastard that got me killed is dead and it's not like I can go anywhere else. Yeah." As the fish man nodded his head in memory of hearing his target was dead from that weird Imp with big horns. That a good day for him. "Course, then I heard that the people of the Immortal Bastion came knocking on their door a few days later. Apparently, they were upset over the hit and how it was done. Needless to say, I'm banned from ever employing I.M.P. again." Upon hearing that, Charlie looked at the sinner with surprise.
She heard of the assassin organization. An Imp by the name of Blitzo had started up an assassination business called Immediate Murder Professionals that handled the killing of people in the living world for those that wish to achieve vengeance on those that have wronged them or are the reason they ended up in hell. Basing his business in Imp City, a city dedicated to Imps, quite accessible to all kinds of Sinners. How he managed to find a way to access the mortal realm was debated heavily by the Sinners, but Charlie had her suspicions.
There were only two possible and logical explanations on how an Imp, the weakest of hell's demonic species, could have access to such a powerful ability. The ability to traverse to the living realm was a near-impossible task. There were only two ways one with the average power of an Imp could do so. One was if the barrier between hell and the living realm was weakened enough for them to traverse freely and the other was if they had access to a powerful spell that opened up portals to other planes of existences. And since there weren't any sinners or demons leaving for the mortal realm, her father would have informed her if that was the case, then that left the last option. And she could guess who provided such a spell to Blitzo.
It was practically common knowledge to the upper classes of Hell that Blitzo was commonly found with prince Stolas of the Goetia demons, a class of demons that were above Overlords in Hell's hierarchy. Stolas was known by many to have a particular interest in Imps. It wasn't known why he does or how it came to be, but he does and has for some time. He also has in his possession a powerful spell book that has a variety of spells, ranging from simple teleportation spells to ones that can destroy entire worlds if one desires. It wouldn't surprise Charlie that book would have a spell that allowed one to travel to the mortal realm and for Stolas to give Blitzo access to it in exchange for…passionate nights with each other.
But getting back at the topic at hand, this was the first time she never heard of the denizens of the Immortal Bastion engaging in anything beyond their typical meetups with the other rulers of hell. Generally speaking, aside from those meetings and parties that they were forced to obligate, the denizens of the Immortal Bastion stayed in their city, rarely going beyond it except for exceptional circumstances. Those who do business with them have to do so within the confines of their city. Charlie herself never went there, her parents had forbidden it, but she heard from the various parties she was forced to attend as princess of hell from those that did business from them that calling the Immortal Bastion a kingdom or even a megacity would be incorrect. It was more like a gigantic military fortress. Guards and various monsters created by Karthus and his fellow alchemists patrolled the streets, eyeing the other denizens of hell with glowing, beady eyes, unwavering in their devotion and loyalty to the Iron Revenant. Streets were perfectly symmetrical with each other with checkpoints every hundred or so meters apart. The walls were laden with magic nullifying material that no one knew of and everything was built to withstand a prolonged siege. And that was everything they knew of. There was no doubt that there was even more stuff that other denizens of hell knew not of and that scared some of the more paranoid rulers of hell. So, to hear that people of the Immortal Bastion left the fortress without anyone knowing was a bit of a shock to Charlie. When she asked what he knew of it, the fish sinner just shrugged.
"Don't know honestly." Said the sinner. "All I know was that they visited them and they confronted them about the hit. Then I got a call from their hellhound saying they won't ever take a hit from me again and ended the call. Course she said it a bit more colorful as well, but that's the gist of it." Charlie nodded at that before confronting Miss Mayberry, who was starting to get annoyed with the lack of attention to her.
"Sorry about that, Miss Mayberry." Said Charlie genuinely. "I got distracted. So, after getting revenge on that person and your husband, do you feel like you have a shot at being redeemed." Sighing at that, Mayberry spoke out.
"I…I honestly don't know." Said Mayberry truthfully. "I want to be redeemed and go to heaven, but whenever I think of my husband and that whore, I just get so mad and angry that I just want to tear apart the first thing that comes to mind. I did it once too and it nearly caused me to get kicked out of my apartment just before extermination day. I tried to fix my temper problems, but I just can't. It like whenever I see or think about those two, I just remember all the anger and betrayal I felt when I first saw my husband cheat on me." Sighing out loud, Mayberry's ears dropped down as she wondered if she'll ever be redeemed. This caused Charlie to come over to Miss Mayberry and give her a hug.
"It's okay. It'll be a tough road, but we'll get you through it and straight to heaven." Said Charlie in a soothing voice. She then looked at Mayberry with the kindest that made many question if she truly was a demon spawn or not. "You have my word." Seeing the kindness and honesty from the demon princess, made everyone's hearts flutter. The demon princess was still a strange being for all of them, but something about all that brought them, dare they say it, hope. Hope that, maybe, they'll actually be redeemed and go straight to heaven, avoiding the chaos that was hell and to see their loved ones that were in heaven, waiting for them. The princess, despite her origins, was like a beacon of hope and light that gave them the confidence they needed to get through this, if only they gave it a shot. And even if it seemed impossible, that they might never get redeemed, she'll still be there, helping them achieve their goal of redemption.
Her ears perking up at the demon princess's kind words, Mayberry thanked her before asking what's next.
"Well, we have to switch to someone else if you're done." Said Charlie. When Mayberry said that she was done, Charlie then asked the next sinner, a spider one, about their sins and if they regretted them. As the confessions and backstories continued, Mayberry couldn't help but smile as Charlie listened intently to each and everyone one of them. She reminded her greatly of the students she used to teach back when she was human. Back before the…incident. That reminder fluttered her heart and it convinced her that coming here was the right choice after all. She just wished there were more people like Charlie in this hotel. Then maybe she'll feel right at home here.

Rosie
666 News Studio
"*Sighs* I cannot believe I'm here." Said Rosie as she finished inspecting her dress for any dirt on it as well as her hair for any loose strains. Once she finished, she looked over to Helska, who was holding her sun hat while she was inspecting her dress and hair. Taking it back, she placed it carefully on her head before looking back at a full-body mirror, making any last inspections. "Honestly, I would like not to interact with that Killjoy woman as much as possible, but…*Sighs* the princess does need more good publicity and this news program is the most-watched throughout hell."
"We have no choice, Miss Rosie." Said Helska as she brought out a notepad. "I've run the calculations, and this is honestly the fastest and most efficient way to get people to actually go to the hotel for it's assigned purpose. Provided we do a good job on this interview." Dryska, after eating a doughnut, spoke up.
"Yeah, I mean, we could try the longer and safer way, but that'll take too long and, honestly, the people we had convinced ain't enough. Got to spread good word of that dingy hotel quick or we wasted a bunch of money." Said Dryska. Rosie just nodded slightly at that.
Truth be told, she sort of expected this when she told the princess she'll spread the word around for the happy hotel. Well actually Hazbin hotel now, according to the sign on the hotel now, but Rosie hadn't brought that up with the princess yet.
Despite knowing that there were plenty of sinners that wanted to be redeemed and go to heaven to see their families and loved ones, she knew many of them were skeptical of joining the happy hotel. Especially after that disastrous interview, the princess was involved with. It was amusing, yes, but it didn't leave a very good impression of the hotel and it's purpose. Thus, it made it hard for her to convince people to try the hotel out, despite her influence in hell's hierarchy. Honestly, she was surprised she managed to convince the initial batch to go to the hotel at all. Heck, she was even more surprised at Lucifer or Lilith hadn't called contacted their daughter after that embarrassment. Perhaps they expected it?
So, in order to rectify that, she had to replace that interview with one that painted the hotel with a more positive view and name behind it. And what better woman to do that than her, the Overlord in charge of the largest Emporium in Hell. She could easily turn public opinion around for the Hazbin hotel with even half of the charisma she had. Knowing when to both flatter and threaten, Rosie was confident she can change people's views on the Hazbin hotel in a short span of time.
Still, there was just a few things about her plans that made her question her investment in the Hazbin hotel. This was one of them.
It didn't take much to get an interview with 666 news, a favor there and a bribe there, was sufficient to getting an interview in short order to talk about the Hazbin hotel. Some of the news staff weren't exactly thrilled in having someone talk about the Hazbin hotel so soon after the last one. They still were getting things fixed after the fight between the princess and Katie Killjoy, but as said before, the right bribes and favors made it easy for Rosie to get that interview.
Speaking of Killjoy, Rosie wasn't too thrilled in having to interact with that woman. She knew her type. She was the kind of person that enjoyed inflicting harm on others, both psychological and physically, and regardless of their place in the social hierarchy of things. She also thought she could get away with anything because of her status as head anchor of the most popular news station in hell and because of her looks. The woman, for all intents and purposes, was a vain, glory hunger, and all-around unpleasant person to interact with for Rosie, who had to deal with those kind of people throughout her long life as an Overlord and a denizen of hell. Sure, that was to be expected in this realm and one can argue that she also possesses those traits as well to some degree, but she very much preferred to interact with people that have at least a modicum of respect when interacting with people, both in and out of the public eye, even to those one doesn't like, something which she did, unlike Killjoy. They may be in a place for the damned or sinners, but that didn't mean they can't maintain a modicum of respect for one another. They're not savages. But alas, what can you do when life puts you through those type of people when you want things done?
Adjusting her hat, a bit, Rosie then addressed Helska.
"Any word from the hotel?" Asked Rosie, wanting both to know how her son is doing and how her investments for that hotel were doing.
"Well, according to our sources, nothing to note actually." Said Helska, adjusting her glasses. "The princess has started her first exercise with the group of sinners we gave her, but aside from that, nothing to report. And your son is fine by the way. Nothing to report there either." Rosie nodded in satisfaction.
"Well let us hope that this investment is truly worth it." Said Rosie before she left to go attend that interview. As she left Helska looked over to her sister.
"Let's hope this one will be significantly better than the one that the princess had." Said Helska, causing her sister to smirk.
"Rosie is more competent in things like this than the princess." Said Dryska. "She also has more common sense than her if that whole song was any indication." Helska just nodded at that in agreement before bringing out her clipboard and began writing down something on it, catching her sister's attention. "You're such a nerd, you know that?" Helska just gave her sister a finger before resuming her writing.
Meanwhile Rosie was making her way towards the news set, where Katie Killjoy was checking her reflection with a small compact mirror while Tom Trench was checking his hairdo. Upon noticing Rosie in all her glory arriving, Katie stopped what she was doing and addressed the Overlord.
"Well, if it isn't Miss fancy pants herself coming to speak on behalf of that runt we call a princess and that crazy idea of hers." Said Katie with a smile on her face as Rosie walked up to Killjoy with her signature smile on her face.
"What can I say?" Asked Rosie, no hints towards her disdain to the newswoman present in her mannerisms or her posture. "The princess does have a way with words if one can coerce her to stay serious for an extended period of time. That and it helped that Alastor coerced me into providing some manner of assistance to his own investment with the princess. And what friend would I be if I didn't help my close associate out in something that may or may not also benefit me as well." Rosie then took a seat next to Killjoy, noticing the contempt the woman had for both her and for Charlie. The later because of that fight she had with the princess that was a blow to her pride and the former for assisting her in, what the newswoman thought, was a stupid idea.
"Well, it's quite a stupid investment if you ask me." Said Killjoy with a smirk. "Sorry to say, honey, but you just wasted a whole bunch for nothing. Oh you may be haughty now, but just wait until you become the laughing stock of hell along with the radio demon and that gay ass princess that won't produce a heir for the throne." Instead of getting angry, like what Killjoy wanted, Rosie just chuckled.
"Oh, I thank you for being so concerned for my wellbeing, Miss Killjoy, but I assure you, that my top analysts have run all the numbers and assured me that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the investment will be quite profitable for me and my business. Even then, should the unexpected happen and the investment goes bad, I have plans in place should things go awry for me." Said Rosie with such confidence that it made Killjoy's blood boil, much to Rosie's amusement as it showed with how she tightly gripped the news table. This was the proper way to deal people like Killjoy. Make them look insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Don't show that their words or actions affect you in any shape or way. And don't give them the thought that they were in control. They thrived on that. Although making them feel like they were in control and then revealing they were not before taking away everything they love is also acceptable, but Rosie reserved that for those that really irked her and Killjoy wasn't among them. Yet. Moving on, she asked when the interview is starting. Just so happened when she asked that question, one of the news crew told them that they were live in a few seconds. With that, Killjoy adopted her public persona and smiled at the camera with Tom Trench also looking at the camera. Rosie, after a moment, also did the same just as they went live.
"Welcome back!" Said Killjoy with a big smile as they came on. "Today we have something special for you all. We have here Miss Rosie, now sole owner of Rosie's Emporium after the unfortunate death of her partner Franklin in the recent extermination, speaking about the princess Charlotte passion project and why sinners should invest their time in her hotel." Killjoy then looked over at Rosie before speaking up again, clutching a pen so tightly that Rosie could have sworn she heard some bones crack from her hand. "So, Miss Rosie, tell us why we should invest any sort of time in a hotel that's run by an owner that left such a disastrous mark on it's reputation when she last came here?" Rosie just brought out a small fan before opening it up and placing in front of her mouth.
"Well, contrary to what the majority of hell thinks of the princess after that disastrous interview, she actually knows what she's doing and already she has sinners there that wish to be redeemed. She just started and from what I've heard, they're progressing along nicely." Said Rosie. A lie, but she was certain that the princess won't screw up with that group of sinners she gave her. She was certain of that. Plus, she was confident that her own workers can cover up whatever deficiencies that the princess has when it comes to her attempt to redeem people. So, a little misdirection won't hurt people. Much. "So, I'd say the hotel is truly worth taking a shot at least. Especially with the amount of support it's been receiving as of late."
"Oh yes." Said Katie with a tight smile. "Rumors are around that both you and the Radio demon have been supporting the Princess since her interview, both in finances and people. Is that true?"
"Quite." Said Rosie. "Although I should mention that Alastor decided to invest because he wishes to see people fail at their shot of redemption. He's merely doing it for his own amusement." That statement caused Killjoy to smile out of joy. Before she could make a comment, however, Rosie quickly continued. "However, he was the one that convinced me to invest into the hotel as well. And unlike him, I did it out of profit for I foresee the potential this new passion project of the princess has for my revenue. The exterminations do tend to hamper profits a bit as any business owner knows, especially those that own business that many sinners tend to make purchases from. So, if the princess can make the exterminations happen far less frequent, than she has my full support." She knew some of what she just said was counterintuitive to the purpose of getting people to go to the hotel, as some may be reluctant to join the hotel if it's investors don't actually believe in it's cause, but it was far better than having Killjoy discovering it out herself and then twisting the truth to further downplay the hotel than it already has been.
"Oh!" Said Katie Killjoy, obviously loving the facts that Rosie just spouted. "So even her own investors don't believe in her own cause and are out only for themselves. How quaint." Rosie just closed her eyes at that.
"Now, Miss Killjoy." Said Rosie as she raised her hand and adopted a lecture-like tone. "Have you forgotten where we are? This is hell. You're not going to find saints here among us. Aside from the princess of course. It should be expected that all of the princess' investors would do so for selfish reasons." Whether it was the tone or because of her lecture, Killjoy's smile once again became tight and she nails began making small indents on the table with how they dug in on the wood. Internally finding this amusing, Rosie then continued. "But, getting back on track, I have to recommend the hotel for those that wish to leave hell and not via death. It's at least worth a try. If anything, they provide quite delectable food and board during one's stay, courtesy of yours truly." It was then that Tom Trench, for the first time, since this whole interview began, spoke.
"So, if you were a sinner, Miss Rosie, would you partake in the Happy hotel?" Asked Tom Trench. Rosie rose an elegant eyebrow at that, surprised a bit at hearing such a question. Would she partake in the Hazbin hotel if she was a sinner. Well, given what she had experienced in the hands of some angels, no. She'd rather not be sent to heaven if she had to deal with those type of people again, especially after what they did to her and her son. But, given that she wouldn't have any such knowledge of any of that if she was a normal, run of the mill sinner. In that case, she would actually give the hotel a shot. After all, given the amount of shitty people she had to constantly deal with in hell, she would actually like to be redeemed and sent to a place where it's, hopefully, a much better place then hell.
"Of course." Said Rosie. "I'm sure most people would love to not be in hell and it's chaotic environment where only the smartest or strongest thrive and the weak and naïve perish or suffer. Especially the common sinner. Which is why I recommend the hotel for those that want to escape that environment. And before anyone questions my intentions, I'm still doing all this for my own benefits. I'm not doing this for charity or for the good of the Pentagram. I'm doing this for profit. But, if this hotel redeems people and sends them to heaven and achieves the princess's goals as well as making a few people quite happy and on their way to heaven, then that's a good added bonus."
"Even if it hampers your own profits?" Asked Killjoy, eyeing Rosie with a tight smile on her face, obviously angered with how calm Rosie was, not fazed by her insults so far.
"Even if it does, it's far less to what the Exterminations do annually." Said Rosie. "So, to wrap it up, I do recommend the princess' hotel. For both a place to stay and for a chance to be a better person and go to heaven. And if that doesn't persuade people to go, then perhaps this will. Given that owner of the hotel is the daughter of Lucifer, any attack on her, which will probably include the hotel and it's inhabitants, will be seen as an attack on the royal family and we all know how that will go with Lucifer and Lilith. And that's not even taking into account the hotel's other investor."
"Other investor?" Asked Tom Trench. "What other investor is there?"
"Oh. Just the ruler of the Immortal Bastion. Mordekaiser himself." Said Rosie as she casually inspected her nails as the news crew began to widen their eyes in shock and astonishment, even Killjoy was flabbergasted at hearing Mordekaiser was helping out with the hotel. "And if he's helping out, you know that things are serious when it comes to the whole redemption business. He wouldn't be doing something if he didn't believe it could work. Are any of you willing to call him a fool for thinking that redemption isn't possible? I imagine he won't be very pleased to hear that from any of you, especially as he's dedicated his personal guard to the defense of the hotel itself." Seeing the nervous faces of everyone present made Rosie smile, fully satisfied with how culled they all are now, even Katie was culled. "Now, is there anything else you wish to say about the Hazbin Hotel?"
Meanwhile
Charlie
"Now is there anything else you wish to say about the Hazbin Hotel? Because I have plenty left to say about the Princess's little hotel." Asked Rosie as everyone from the Hazbin Hotel were watching the interview go live, including Charlie.
"Well, she certainly knows how to get under people's skin." Said Husk as he watched the interview, a bottle of liquor in hand.
"No kidding." Said Angel Dust before smiling and looking at Vaggie and Charlie. "She certainly did better than you two did. Maybe she should run things instead of Charlie, eh?" Thought that caused Vaggie to twitch in irritation, most of her focus was on the interview.
Much as she hated to admit, Angel Dust was right. Rosie did far better than Charlie did during her interview with 666 news. When she heard that the Overlord was at 666 news to spread the word of the Happy Hotel, she was worried that it won't work and it'll just end with the hotel being more ridiculed. But no. The Overlord did well it seemed. And it seemed she still had stuff left. And on a plus side, she was getting under the skin of Killjoy if the way she was stiff and clenching the news table was any indication. She now saw why Rosie was still in power, despite being among the weakest of Overlords currently.
That being said, she wondered why Rosie called the Happy Hotel the Hazbin Hotel. The sign clearly said that it was called the Happy Hotel so why would she…
She then narrowed her eyes and then glared at Alastor, who was smiling as Rosie went on to discuss the potential of the Hazbin Hotel and how it's a good idea to visit. Sensing the hostility from Vaggie, Alastor turned towards her and spoke.
"I take it you wish to ask about the name change?" Asked Alastor. "Honestly, I'm quite surprised it took you this long to figure out something was wrong." Upon seeing Vaggie's one good eye twitching rapidly, Alastor spoke up again. "Well the name Happy Hotel was too stupid and too naïve for a place in hell. It may cause people to turn away from it because of the name. So, I changed it to a far more appropriate name, am I right? I mean, Hazbin Hotel sounds much better and more appropriate than Happy Hotel, am I right?" Husk just grumbled in agreement before drinking his liquor.
"It certainly got a better ring to it." Said Angel Dust with a smirk as he began to drink his own bottle of liquor. Vaggie was about to start swearing when Charlie began to squeal out in joy.
"Oh, this is just great." Said Charlie as she bounced up and down. "Just imagine the amount of people that'll come here now after what Miss Rosie did." As Charlie imagined the various things and stuff, Vaggie sighed and decided to speak about the name change later to Charlie. It was her hotel and it was up to her to decide if they should keep the name change or not. For now, though, she'll let the princess have her moment.
