Chapter 9
Sometime ago before present day
Blitzo
"Alright team, let's get things rolling." Said Blitzo with a devious smile as he watched his target enter the mall. With their target distracted, they can now hotwire his car to explode the moment he starts it up.
Their current client had requested them to kill him using the car, which they explained was the reason they were in Hell in the first place. The man had run them over with it because they've just looked at his wife a little too long for his liking. As a result, the man killed them with his car the second he had a chance to get away with it. Needless to say, the client wanted payback and wanted them to kill the guy with their own car with a bonus being offered if they make him a despicable being to the entire world. The Imps argued over and over on how to kill the man with the car until Blitzo made the decision to just blow up the car with the man inside it, deciding to go loud this time around.
Moxxie, of course, protested to this, citing that they have little to no knowledge on the inner workings of a human car to do such sabotage. Blitzo, being the crazy and confident Imp he was, ignored Moxxie and went with his plan, supported by Moxxie's wife and their hellhound, much to Moxxie's annoyance.
"Oh, this is going to be great." Said Blitzo as the team of Imps went straight to their target's car. Opening the hood, Blitzo grinned as he began to rig the entire thing to explode. Moxxie just groaned as he and his wife kept watch for any humans. It was night and they were alone in the parking garage, but that didn't mean they can't keep watch for any humans. All it took was a single human seeing them to cause a panic, thus ruining their chance of killing their client with their car and ruining their chances of getting their bonus.
"Sir, it shouldn't take you this long to rig a car to explode." Said Moxxie after around ten minutes of Blitzo hotwiring the car.
"Oh, shut up, Moxxie." Said Blitzo as he twirled together two wires. "Stuff like this isn't something you can rush. Stuff like this needs to be handled with care and love. Otherwise, you'll get mistakes and the whole thing will be for nothing. Like you, Mox." Moxxie just twitched his eye at that and was about to argue with his boss when Millie whispered out.
"Uh, guys." Said Millie as she got both of the male Imp's attention. "The target is coming." Upon hearing that, Blitzo cursed as the target was coming out of the mall and to his car.
"Well fuck, guess we're going with plan B then." Said Blitzo with a smile before closing the hood, seemingly happy that they're not going with the original plan, much to Moxxie's suspicion.
"Sir, why are you so happy that we aren't following the original plan?" Asked Moxxie as his boss entered the car and began to hotwire it to start. Before Moxxie could even ask again, the car started and began moving. "Oh, this is not going to end well." Moxxie and Millie then got out of the way of their boss as he began driving the car towards their target, who was now confused at seeing his car being driven by a red creature. His expression then grew to terror as Blitzo drove it straight towards him with it.
He was so stuck in his horror that he didn't do anything as Blitzo ran over him with the car. After doing so, he began to run over the corpse a few more times. He then checked to see the man was unrecognizable to anyone, even them. Satisfied, Blitzo got out of the car and stuffed the corpse in the trunk. Along with a bunch of explosives from his person. He then looked at Moxxie and spoke up.
"Come on, Moxxie." Said Blitzo as he motioned for Moxxie to give him more explosives, which he knew that Moxxie had on him. "We aren't going to get our bonus if we don't make this guy look like the scum of the planet. So, give me your explosives." Moxxie did what Blitzo ordered him to do and handed him around eight tons of explosives from his person. "Okay, Millie go alert the human security about what our target is doing while Mox and I go about framing this guy for bombing this place to kingdom come."
"You got it." Said Millie before leaving to do her given task. "While this was happening Moxie was looking at his boss.
"And how do you propose we do that with only a few tons of explosives, sir?" Asked Moxxie as Blitzo stuffed all the explosives in the car. "Combined, our explosives don't have enough force necessary to achieve the explosion you want nor the infamy our client wants for our target."
"Oh shut up, Moxxie." Said Blitzo as he finished. "Learn to have a little faith in your boss. How many of my plans have succeeded that also had you complain about them and their implausibility? Hmm. Oh yeah. All of them. So shut the fuck up and watch as your boss executes his brilliant plan." Moxxie just groaned as his boss got back inside the car as well as placing a ski mask over his face in order to do the next stage of their plan B that was completely done on the fly as Moxxie had no idea they had a back up plan.
"So what exactly is your brilliant plan sir?" Asked Moxxie as Blitzo began driving the car, pointing it's front at the mall entrance, something that made Moxxie groan. "Oh, this is going to end well." Before Moxxie could say anything, he watched as the car drove straight into the mall. As it crashed into the entrance, causing massive damage as well as emitting screams from the occupants of the mall, that were either close to the Imp driven car or were being run over by it. Moxxie sighed as he wondered how the humans will handle this.
Meanwhile
Blitzo
"Oh yeah!" Yelled Blitzo as he ran over some more humans. "This is what I love about this job!" As he ran over a female human, he saw a store that sold robotic clowns. Remembering a robotic clown from hell that pissed him off to no end, even after it's destruction. As a result, drove straight to that store, killing everyone that worked there as well as anyone that he just felt like killing. Once he was done wrecking the place, he drove away just as the mall's security came to try to stop him. Crushing only one with the car, Blitzo laughed as they failed miserably to stop him, trying to use their mall guns to stop the car or just trying to convince him to stop and let them take him in. Oh, the stupidity of humans.
After crashing into a human couple, Blitzo eventually spotted a store on a lower level that just made him grin. It was an explosives store. Just what the doctor ordered.
Opening up the window next to the driver's seat, Blitzo got ready to jump as he went straight towards the explosive store. Jumping out at the last second, Blitzo watched as the car crashed through some railing before into the explosive store, causing a massive explosion that engulfed the entire lower level of the mall, killing everyone that was there. Smiling at a job well done, Blitzo was about to regroup with Moxxie and Millie when a group of humans surrounded him. Stunned at what Blitzo looked like, even with the mask, the humans were unable to do anything as Blitzo gunned them all down.
"Really guys?" Asked Blitzo with a grin as he holstered his weapons. "You got to be real dumbasses if you let yourselves get offed like that by a single Imp. *Chuckles* Oh, that bonus better be good." With that, Blitzo began walking away from the carnage, his job fulfilled.
Later
"Alright, the payment just came in and I got to say, that bonus makes it all so worth it." Said Blitzo with a smile as he walked back and forth between his employees. "Oh baby. Did it make it worth it. We should take more jobs that encourage bonuses. Then we can actually get some pretty snazzy stuff. And then Moxxie will stop complaining about how we spend our money." Moxxie sighed at that before speaking up.
"Sir, even with the bonus we got, we should be conservative with our hard-earned cash." Said Moxxie. "Remember when Loopty and then Lipton destroyed our wall. Twice. We nearly went bankrupt repairing them after you bought that novelty toy." The two were then about to go on a tirade when the door to their office was broken down. Sighing at this, thinking it was another eccentric customer, Blitzo was about to yell at them when a hook attached to a chain hooked itself on his neck and pulled him towards the user. He was then grabbed by said user as they came inside the office, revealing themselves to be the Chain Warden of the Immortal Bastion, Thresh. Chuckling as he held Blitzo by the throat, Thresh held the Imp in place as his employees reacted to his presence in shock. Before any of them could do anything, a group of Iron guard wielding halberds came inside, forming two lines against the door to I.M.P. Before any of the Imps could do anything, Mordekaiser himself came in, breaking down the door and it's wall even further, shocking the Imps and hellhound. Glaring at the employees of I.M.P., particularly at Blitzo as Thresh tossed him in front of the Iron Revenant, Mordekaiser spoke.
"Do you know why I'm here, Imp?" Asked Mordekaiser as he held his mace in one hand as he glared down at Blitzo, who gulped at seeing the Iron Revenant, the only being in Hell that managed to defeat Lucifer in battle, glaring at him before speaking.
"Well, uh…you're here to hire us for a job?" Asked Blitzo nervously, his normal confidence gone before the Iron Revenant. Near everyone knew of his reputation and how merciless he was to those that draw his ire. Example being when an Overlord to seduce the Iron Revenant for her personal goals. It was said her screams can still be heard in Thresh's lantern if one is close enough to it. He gulped again when Mordekaiser hardened his glare.
"Do you think I would waste money with a useless, idiotic, and loud Imp to kill those that draw my ire when I have dozens of loyal assassins under my thrall that'll do it for free?" Asked Mordekaiser as his free hand grabbed Blitzo by the neck and hoisted him up so he can stare at the Imp at face level.
"No." Said Blitzo as he struggled to say anything because of how tight Mordekaiser was holding him. He had a few close calls with some clients here and there, some of which Blitzo considered himself lucky to get away from without a scratch or had his crew around to protect him, but all of them were nothing compared to the ire of the Iron Revenant as he glared at Blitzo for something he can't even imagine he did wrong. As he was starting to turn blue, Mordekaiser eventually let Blitzo go, causing the Imp to land on his chair, gasping for air.
"Since you have no idea why I'm here, then I'll explain it in full." Said Mordekaiser as his guards surrounded the Imps and Hellhound, none of which protested or even fought back. Even Loona knew not to fight the metallic guards as they surrounded them, knowing full well how outmatched they were compared to them. "Your little business is starting to attract too much attention. Both from Heaven and the mortal realm." Upon hearing that, Blitzo looked up at Mordekaiser, unsure of what he was talking about.
"The fuck you mean we're attracting too much attention?" Demanded Blitzo, temporality oblivious to who he was talking to. The most experience he had in talking with the upper echelons of Hell was Stolas and his daughter Octavia, both of whom were exceptions to the usual leaders of Hell. Stolas absolutely adored Blitzo's rough and idiotic personality, relishing it and finding it hot. And Octavia just didn't give a damn about him to use her royal authority to kill him for speaking to her like she was a commoner or using crude language with her. She may not like him for one-night stands with her father, creating a rift in her family, but she stayed her hand when it was clear to her that her father was happy around him, no matter how much she disapproved. Such tolerance was not to be found with Mordekaiser, who glared at Blitzo lack of respect. Blitzo then gulped when Mordekaiser glared down at him. If looks could kill.
"I advise you Blitzo to maintain a modicum of respect when addressing me." Said Mordekaiser as he slightly raised his massive mace, glowing with power. "Your typical behavior may be tolerated by Stolas and his ilk along with your typical client, but it will not be tolerated by me. Is that understood?" Loona wanted to make a sarcastic remark at him for being too sensitive for his own good but barely managed to stop herself in time, not wanting to be eternally tortured by either Mordekaiser or Thresh. Even she knew when not to draw the ire of those far more powerful than her.
"Got it, sir." Said Blitzo as he nodded while shrinking away from Mordekaiser, who just nodded.
"Good." Said Mordekaiser. "As I was saying, your little stunts have been drawing the attention of both the mortal realm and Heaven. Did you honestly expect your actions to go unnoticed by any of the leaders of Heaven and Hell as well as the mortal realm?"
"Well," Started Blitzo as he tried to think up of a way to get Mordekaiser from not killing him and his entire crew. Deciding that lying won't get him anything but a slow and painful death, Blitzo spoke the truth, no matter how much he wanted to lie to the man. "Kind of?" Blitzo then spoke out rapidly when Mordekaiser's eyes glowed brighter than usual. "I mean, the people we usually kill are just nobodies. People that aren't important in the grand scheme of things. With the exception of Lyle Lipton, the people we off are just normal ass people that people won't miss or so evil that they're going to hell anyway, like that African warlord we killed last month. I mean we're practically doing Heaven's job for them by offing the really bad sinners of Earth. And we're not doing anything that affects Hell in any meaningful manner, except, you know, getting more people here when there's an overpopulation problem at the moment. I don't get what the big deal is, sir."
"The big deal is what I just said." Said Mordekaiser. "You think the angels don't care about you killing even the most sinful of mortals on Earth? You're wrong. They've known ever since you killed your first mortal. The only reason they haven't done anything to you as of yet is because you aren't worth the efforts of the more powerful angels of Heaven. But that may change after that incident with the Cherubs and the one with that Succubus." Upon hearing those, Blitzo widened his eyes in shock.
"H-how do you know about that?" Asked Blitzo as he and his crew looked at Mordekaiser in shock. The one with the Cherubs was kept between them all as they knew that, if it became knowledge that they fought with Cherubs and interfered in their duties, then Lucifer will come down at them for nearly starting a war with Heaven. As for the one with Verosika Mayday, that was also kept hush-hush as Lucifer would also come down at all of them for causing such a mess in the human world, no matter who was ultimately responsible for the fish monster that day. To hear that Mordekaiser heard about both incidents was a shock to them all.
"I have eyes and ears everywhere, Blitzo. Including the living world." Said Mordekaiser. "Did you honestly not think I would have spies in the living world as well?" Moxxie wanted to say something but Thresh placed his hook near Moxxie's neck, causing the Imp to gulp. "But getting back to the situation at hand, your recent disaster has caused me to finally act on your little business. While your target is indeed in hell as we speak, there are countless non-sinners that are now in Heaven thanks to you. Beings that died prematurely, causing angels to investigate the cause, which will eventually lead to them discovering you are the culprits. As a result, Heaven's leaders may decide to launch an early extermination on us all because of you fools. Or even declare war on us." Upon hearing that, Moxxie raised his hand. Seeing it, Mordekaiser motioned for Thresh to allow him to speak. Once the hook was gone from his throat, Moxxie spoke up.
"With respect, Mr. Mordekaiser." Said Moxxie as he looked at Mordekaiser, his entire body shaking at seeing the massive figure looking at him with his mace in hand. One wrong move and he's going to end up as a very messy puddle. "Why would Heaven launch an early extermination on us over a bunch of human souls? Doesn't that seem…out-of-character for them?"
"*Chuckles* Do not fail for the lies you are given of the angels, Imp." Said Mordekaiser. "They are just as flawed and prideful as your king. Even if they weren't, they would still declare war on us because we've killed people that deserve to go to heaven. Or haven't had enough time in the living world to be determined to go to Hell or Heaven. There's also the fact that you fools have been slowly revealing the existence of Heaven and Hell to the human populace when they shouldn't be. No doubt, they'll also declare war for that because they'll think that, if the humans realize that Heaven and Hell did exist, they'll commit acts of selfness and generosity, not because they are genuinely good people, but because they wish to enter Heaven and all it's supposed bounty. And I don't think the angels will appreciate that. So, either they declare war on us because of you, or they'll have Lucifer hand you over to them in order to save his kingdom from a massive war." The Imps gulped at that, not thinking that such an event will occur in the slightest, but Mordekaiser did and he was confronting them about the way they did their business.
"So, are you going to shut us down?" Asked Millie as she looked at Mordekaiser. She didn't want that. She loved her job, going out to kill people and making money off it. It made her feel alive and also kept her away from doing the jobs that can easily kill an Imp like her. Or make her feel dead inside.
"No." Said Mordekaiser, causing Blitzo to sigh in relief.
"Oh thank god." Said Blitzo before looking at Mordekaiser. "You had us going there, man. You know, you can be quite a scary fucker even when you are not trying. So…"
"I wasn't finished." Interrupted Mordekaiser, causing Blitzo to shut up. "While I'm willing to be lenient on you this day, I'm only doing so if you all promise to keep your assassinations to only your target and those that attack you as well as trying to minimize your collateral damage. Otherwise, I will ensure that your remaining time in existence will be one of eternal pain and misery. Is that understood?" Everyone just gulped before nodding, even Loona nodded her head rapidly, her fur spiked up everywhere in fear. "Good. Now to ensure that you all know to obey my orders, Thresh will give you a little taste of what will happen if you break your promise." With that, Mordekaiser left with his guards, leaving the employees of I.M.P. alone with Thresh.
"*Cackles* Oh this will be fun." Said Thresh with a sadistic smile. "This will be beautiful." Before any of the Imps or Hellhound could do anything, Thresh brought up his lantern and the entire floor of the building glowed. Soon screams were heard from the I.M.P. office.
Present
"I remember that day fondly. Do you?" Asked Thresh as he tossed Blitzo aside, watching him crash into a couch. He then looked at Moxxie, who was in front of Millie, shielding his wife from the sadistic Chain Warden, even as his entire body shook with fear at seeing him again. Loona tried her best to look intimidating, but what Thresh did to her when they first met was still in her mind and came out in the form of her fur going up. Blitzo himself tried to remain calm but couldn't in the face of the Chain Warden. What he did that day was still on his mind, like his employees. The pain. The fear. The…assault on very fiber of his being, both mental and physical, was enough for Blitzo to consider that day the worst day of his entire life. And there were a lot of days that he had low points in his life.
"What the fuck do you want, Thresh?" Asked Blitzo as he got up from the couch. "We made sure that nothing can be traced back to us or Hell. And we made sure that nothing collateral damage is limited to only property. What did we do to piss off Mordekaiser this time?" Before Thresh could speak, Mortem arrived with a large sack in hand.
"Our lord doesn't wish any ill to you this day, Imp. For he requires you to do something for him." Said Mortem as he walked in.
"Mordekaiser wants something from us?" Asked Loona, raising an eyebrow as her fur settled down as she realized that they weren't in danger. "What the fuck does he want with us?"
"Do you know of the Overlord Rosie?" Asked Mortem.
"Yeah, Overlord that's got a big fucking mall or something. Why?" Asked Blitzo as he regained his confidence and was acting his normal self. Although he was still fearful of Thresh.
"A recent development has caused Mordekaiser to look into her activities." Said Mortem. "However, our spy network is busy with other tasks that require their attention." A bit of a lie as their spy network was capable of doing their duties in addition to spying on Rosie, but Mordekaiser wanted the Imps to prove themselves worthy of living and if they're indeed as good as they claim to be. "As a result, we're hiring you to keep an eye on Rosie and relay anything anomalous with her. And if necessary, protect her from harm." Upon hearing that last part, Blitzo blinked in surprise.
"Say what?" Asked Blitzo as he processed this. "You want us to both spy on an Overlord of Hell and also protect her from harm? The fuck is all that about?"
"That information is classified." Said Mortem. "All you need to know is that you're both protecting Rosie and her assets as well as spying on her. Mordekaiser believes that she is hiding something from him. Something he wants to know about. And you're going to give us that information if possible."
"But, you do realize that we're assassins. Not spies." Pointed out Moxxie as he calmed down enough to talk normally, though his legs were still shaking with fear. "Why hire us to do this?"
"Irrelevant information." Said Mortem. "Not that it should matter to you due to your acceptance of being a bodyguard of prince Stolas that one occasion." Moxxie wanted to point out that it was just one time and because of the pay, but decided not once he saw Thresh smiling at him, daring him to object.
"Are we getting paid for this, sir?" Asked Millie, feeling a bit brash. Moxxie tensed up at that, fearing for everyone's lives when they asked for compensation for this job. Before he could say anything, Mortem nodded.
"Yes." Said Mortem before handling the bag he was holding to Moxxie. "This is the payment for the job. Further payments will be given when we determined it's necessary." Moxxie, upon looking at the contents of the bag, bulged his eyes out, stunned beyond belief at the amount of money in there. He then showed it to the rest of the Imps and Loona, who all also had similar reactions.
"Holy shit. You guys are giving us this much money. For reals?" Asked Blitzo as he looked at Mortem and Thresh with wide eyes.
"Yes." Said Mortem simply. "Provided you accept this job. Are you willing to? If not, then we shall take that money back please." Blitzo just looked at the bag of money, then at Mortem, then back at the money before making his decision.
"Done." Said Blitzo before looking at Loona. "Loona, if anyone comes here, tell them that we're on a job that requires our full attention and that we won't be accepting any jobs until it's done." Loona, upon hearing that, sighed, realizing that they just accepted a job from a people that'll kill them in an instant if they so much as fuck up once in this job. And they have no choice on the matter now that Blitzo decided to be a dumbass again. "So, when do we start?"
"Now." Said Mortem. "Head to Rosie's emporium and spy on her. And don't let Rosie catch you in this act. If you do get caught, know that we won't be trying to save you and may try to silence you." Upon hearing that, Blitzo laughed out loud.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. We got this." Said Blitzo as he stood confidently against Mortem, who just stood aloof at the little demon Imp. Giving him a nod, Mortem then left with Thresh to head back to their home. Once the Imps were gone, Mortem spoke.
"You know what must be done if they fail in this mission, correct?" Asked Mortem, causing Thresh to smile.
"Oh, very, my good friend." Said Thresh as he held his lantern, enjoying the screams that were coming from it. "There's always room here for three Imps and a hellhound." Thresh then began to crackle madly as they left through a portal that Mortem had just created using a spellbook given to him by Karthus.
Few days later
Rosie's Emporium
Rosie
With a sigh, Rosie was walking through her personal floor, eager to have some time alone to herself after a long promoting the princess' hotel. Surely, after all that, Sinners would be flocking towards the hotel now. The princess would surely be pleased with it. And as much as the princess would love to thank her for all the publicity she'd given the hotel, giving it a real shot at being a success, she really needed some time alone. Both to just relax as well as plan the inevitable fallout that's going to happen because of her son's choices once the angels realize what was going on. Specifically, that one angel.
Seeing the door that led to her private chambers, Rosie opened it and stepped inside. Upon doing so and closing the door, she was immediately grabbed at the throat by someone. Widening her eyes in shock, she couldn't even utter a word before she was thrown across the room, crashing into a vanity, sending makeup and other cosmetic items flying everywhere. Clenching her head, Rosie looked at her attacker and widened her eyes in fear as she looked at their golden eyes.
It was an angel. A female one at that and it was one that was responsible for her and her son's current predicament. The angel known as Kayle.
Clad in the same suit of armor that she donned when they first met, the Kayle glared down at the Hell-born as she drew her sword and placed it at Rosie's neck. Fearing for her life, Rosie didn't say anything as the angel sword, which can permanently kill her, lay close to her throat, ready to slit it if the owner's sword wished so. The two stared at each other for a few more seconds before the angel spoke.
"You have broken our agreement, Overlord." Said Kayle with such hatred that it made any human of Christian faith be taken aback that such hated can be found with an angel of God. "Tell me why this is so I can know the reason why you decided to forfeit your life along with that of your son." Upon hearing that, Rosie spoke up, hoping to convince the angel to spare her and her son's life, at least for a little while.
"It was my son's fault for that." Said Rosie as she eyed the blade near her throat. "He didn't like the idea of being subservient to you angels, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He made a deal with the Radio Demon, a friend of mine, thus he now works for the daughter of Lucifer." Upon hearing that, Kayle went rigid with anger, causing Rosie to smirk inside. She knew as well as the angel that if she slew her son while he was under the employ of Charlotte, then Lucifer would see it as an attack on the Magne family and thus declare war on Heaven for it, something that the archangels didn't want. Ever. So, her son was safe for the time being. Rosie, on the other hand, wasn't so fortunate. Though the Overlord had prepared for that since the deal her son made with Alastor. As the angel thought of what to do with this new piece of information, Rosie was carefully reaching towards something hidden in her left sleeve.
"…Your son is abstained from my wrath demon." Said Kayle as she glared at Rosie with golden eyes. "But you are not so fortunate. Prepare to be smitten, demon." Despite the threat on her, Rosie couldn't help but smile, leaving the angel suspicious.
"So sorry, dear, but my time hasn't come yet." Said Rosie before bringing out the item and tossing it to the ground. When the object crashed into the ground, a loud flash engulfed the entire room, and a loud shrieking noise was emitted from the object.
Clutching her ears, the angel couldn't do anything as Rosie brought out another item, this time from her right sleeve. It was a paper scroll that contained a teleporting spell. It was only good for one time, but she didn't need to use it more than once. Opening the scroll, Rosie quickly said the incantations just before Kayle skewered her with her sword.
Grunting in rage, Kayle began destroying Rosie's personal quarters. Once everything was destroyed, she quickly left the area before any of Rosie's servants or guards arrived.
Rosie
After teleporting to safety, Rosie looked around her surroundings to see that she was in a rundown part, well even more rundown part, of Imp city, a city dedicated to the Imp population in Hell. And that she was sitting on her rump. Panicking a bit, Rosie stood right back up and began inspecting her dress for stains. Sighing in annoyance at seeing that it was stained a bit from where she was sitting, Rosie made a note to, when she had the chance, torture that angel for causing her dress to be stained with filth. Wishful thinking, she knew, but her dress was expensive, and it was one of her favorites as well.
Sighing again, Rosie thought of what to do now that the angel knew of what transpired here. She didn't want to tell Lucifer of what happened, fearing that he'll use her and her son against Mordekaiser. And she couldn't tell Mordekaiser of this, otherwise, he'll go up and declare war on all of Heaven. And while she would be flattered if he did it for her, she rather avoid such a war being caused by her as well. And she couldn't go to the princess' hotel as her son was there and she had no idea what he'll do once he discovered what happened.
Unsure of what to do, Rosie eventually came to the conclusion that she can't do anything. Nothing at all until an opportunity presents itself to do so. Growling at her inability to do anything, Rosie eventually decided to lay low for a while until it was safe to go back to her Emporium. Once it was, she'll have to shore up defenses to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again. At least for a little while or until that angel decides to come with more of her kind.
Sighing, Rosie eventually began walking away from the alleyway that she was in. She might as well look for a good inn or hotel in this rundown city in the meantime until the angel went away. As she walked, she sensed that many eyes were upon her as she walked. Many of them Imps that were fearful and curious of seeing a powerful Overlord such as her in their city as well as lust at seeing her and her beauty. She may not be as beautiful as Lilith, but Rosie was still quite attractive with her curvy figure and beautiful face. And though it may seem foolhardy to dare try to assault an Overlord, no matter how weak they are, if you're Imp, she knew that there were plenty of idiots in Hell that weren't exactly bright to begin with. Plus, it would look very shameful and slandering to someone of her standings if she was taken down by an Imp or be raped by one of the weakest beings in Hell. So, she had to be on her guard lest she wishes to suffer a black mark on her reputation and status.
As she walked through the streets of Imp city, she began to remember the days that led to her current predicament. The time she first met Mordekaiser and how her life changed, for better or worse. Such sweet memories.
