Chapter 15
Guest- Not really. I'm going for a more logical Mordekaiser in this fic. One that knows when to fight and when to talk. Of course, if Stolas keeps being lustful for Blitzo and Blitzo keeps mucking things up, well…
If there was one emotion that can describe what Mordekaiser felt when he entered the realm of the living, it was anger at the Imps that went up and broke their promise to him some time ago.
Not only did they try to neglect the duty that he had given them barely a few days ago, but they went up got captured by humans, revealed themselves along with Hell in the process, and, to top it all off, Stolas was doing it too. Needless to say, Mordekaiser was enraged right now. Taking in the sight in his vision, Mordekaiser spoke.
"I trust that you all have a good reason to be revealed to the living right now." Growled Mordekaiser as he looked at Stolas in particular. Stolas, seeing the Iron Revenant here, sighed before addressing him.
"If you must know, I'm here rescuing these little Imps and Hellhound from these humans." Said Stolas, all traces of his usual goofiness and upbeat attitude is gone. Not only because of how to hurt his Blitzy was and for that blue-haired bitch manage to actually hurt him as well, something that was fascinating he wasn't going to lie, but also because that Mordekaiser wasn't exactly someone that tolerated his behavior. He was similar to his wife Stella in that regard, only he had the power to back up that intolerance.
Every demon lord and the prince knew of Mordekaiser's reputation. How he defeated Lucifer over a thousand years ago. How he became one of the most powerful lords in Hell. And, perhaps most worriedly of all, became one of the more ambitious lords in Hell.
Now ambition wasn't something new in Hell, every Overlord or prince in Hell had it. Even the ones from the Sloth Ring had some ambition if just a bit. Everyone was always seeking to elevate themselves to greater power and recognition. To topple their rivals and, perhaps even one day, for the most ambitious ones anyway, to become king or queen of all Hell. Now Stolas was one of the least ambitious of Hell's leaders, finding he had more than enough wealth and power as head of the Goetia family than he really needed. And though he did dabble in powerplays every now and then, he never really tried unless he had a personal stake in them. His family was one of the oldest and most respected families in Hell, something that caused his wife, Stella, to dislike and hate him for his affair with Blitzo, believing it was unbecoming of someone of their status.
Mordekaiser, however, was something else. Like those that held high ambitions, Mordekaiser was always seeking ways to expand his influence and power in Hell. Whether it be by diplomacy, a show of force, or through giving goods to the inhabitants of Hell to the point that they show in everyday markets, Mordekaiser was, perhaps, one of the most ambitious lords to date, perhaps even the most ambitious and daring.
One day he would be sending envoys to negotiate a new trade deal and the very next day he would be sending his Iron Guard to take the heads of those that either defy him or raise his ire in a significant way, killing all those that stand in their way. Then, after they were done, Mordekaiser would take those that have been killed by his men from wherever their souls went after being slain in Hell and have them converted to beings of the Immortal Bastion. And many would rightfully say that was just him defeating the weak and taking what strength they had to augment his own strength. It was the way of demons. It was the way things were in Hell. But Mordekaiser did it more frequently than others.
Little by little. Inch by inch. Mordekaiser was taking what he wanted from the other denizens of Hell and was reimbursing the strongest of Hell occupants with goods and other things they could want in return for allowing him to take what little he wanted, growing slowly but surely stronger as time passes. And Stolas figured, along with a few others, that it was only a matter of time before Mordekaiser would become strong to the point he could topple the other lords in Hell and become the new King of Hell. And the only thing stopping him from doing it was the treaty of Iron, preventing him from targeting the Magne family or usurping them in any shape or way. But that protection didn't extend to the other royal families and Stolas was certain that Mordekaiser would seek ways to topple them and take whatever he wanted from them, using whatever resources they had to increase his forces as well as his influence as well. So, needless to say, Stolas held a very weary outlook on Mordekaiser as he was certain that, if an opportunity presented itself for Mordekaiser to topple the Goetia family and take their wealth for his own, the Iron Revenant would take it without a moment's hesitation. It also didn't help that Mordekaiser felt disgusted at the prince for his infidelity as well as his, what he deemed, incompetence for allowing the Exterminations to occur to those under his protection, especially when he held one of the strongest grimoires in Hell, and often spout them to Stolas' face whenever they meet. Normally Stolas wouldn't have cared for such things, often used to them because of his wife, and for a time, he didn't care what Mordekaiser did or said to him, but then he hurt his Blitzy. During one of their get-togethers, Stolas noticed Blitzy wasn't giving his all like he usually did. Stolas, being curious at this, prodded Blitzy to tell him what the cause of such a lack of effort during their passionate lovemaking was. Eventually, after some persistent prodding, Blitzo told him what happened between him and Mordekaiser, particularly what Mordekaiser had Thresh, his most ruthless and sadistic, and that was saying something, the lieutenant did to him and his employees.
Stolas was enraged upon hearing it all and nearly went to the Immortal Bastion to teach Mordekaiser a lesson for hurting his Blitzy, when Stella and his daughter, Octavia, stopped him at the last minute. Both of them overheard what happened between Mordekaiser and Blitzo. And though Stella was enraged at Stolas once again having an Imp in their bed, she was scared enough of Mordekaiser to try to negotiate with her husband to stand down. She even offered to not yell at him for a full year if he didn't go and enrage Mordekaiser. She was just that scared of the Iron Revenant. Although that offer was certainly tempting, Stella was quite a handful when she was angry, it was Octavia's begging that made Stolas stop.
Although the teen owl cared little about the politics of Hell, she knew enough of Mordekaiser's reputation to make her beg her father to not incur his wrath. She heard of what the revenant does to those that even momentarily draw his ire, she didn't want to imagine what he does to those that dare attack him. She even had the unfortunate opportunity to meet Mordekaiser alone, face to face. Just one look from the massive monster was enough to convince Octavia to never risk his wrath ever again, especially after she made a joke about his massive size compensating for something. The glare she got was enough to make her piss in fright. Faced with the begging from his daughter, who was literally close to tears he might add, stayed Stolas' hand. But, since then, Stolas has held a grudge against Mordekaiser for hurting his Blitzy.
And now Mordekaiser was here, intending to stop him from invoking his wrath on others that hurt his Blitzy. Honestly, why was he even here anyway?
"More like you intend to eradicate them over some insignificant and incompetent Imp." Said Mordekaiser as he got closer to Stolas and the girl that he was hurting. Upon seeing the girl, Mordekaiser sensed something about her that piqued his interest. She held a different aura than the other humans around her. It was almost like she contained only a part of someone's soul and that she wasn't a full person. At least in terms of containing a soul. But that was something for another time. Right now, he had idiots to deal with. "Without knowing what they are or giving them an opportunity to serve you. Have you no vision, Stolas? Or has most of your energy gone to your libido?" Stolas clenched his teeth at the insult in order to prevent him from biting back at Mordekaiser. Counting to three, Stolas then spoke up.
"Ignoring that crude comment." Said Stolas before gesturing to the Imps behind them. "I'm simply protecting these Imps after they foolishly got themselves captured by humans. And we all know it's against the rules for Hell residents to be revealed to the living world, yes?" It was then that Millie stirred. Groaning, Millie opened her eyes to see the Iron Revenant in her sights, causing her to widen her eyes in shock and fear. Moxxie, upon seeing his wife wake up, struggled to get up but the humans held him down, even if their eyes were looking at Mordekaiser, scared and awed at seeing just a massive figure. Seeing the struggling Moxxie, Mordekaiser looked at the remaining humans, causing them to step back in fright, right up to the wall behind them, where they hugged it tightly with their backs, leaving Moxxie alone. Giving a grunt, Mordekaiser motioned for Moxxie to go to Millie, which he did with some hesitation.
Pain flaring up in his body, Moxxie nonetheless got up and walked to Millie. As he passed Mordekaiser, he gave a muttered apology to the Iron Revenant for getting captured by humans, which caused Mordekaiser to growl, causing Moxxie to run a bit faster to his wife.
"Moxxie!" Yelled Millie as she ran up to her husband and taking him into her arms. Looking at his body, Millie began to cry at what happened to him, which caused Moxxie to give her a light smile as he tried to comfort her. Ignoring the two Imps, Mordekaiser looked at Loona, who was trying hard to tend to her adopted dad's newest wounds, but without any bandages, all she could do was stem the bleeding.
"Stolas." Said Mordekaiser as he looked at Blitzo. Seeing this, Stolas saw Blitzo still bleeding hands and thus cast a healing spell to stop the bleeding and close the wounds. With that done, Mordekaiser continued. "Yet you decided to do so by revealing yourself to the humans. You could easily have taken them all out of here without even trying. Instead, you helped reveal the existence of Hell to these worthless humans, and for what? Vengeance? Vengeance you could have easily done without revealing our existence. Stolas, how did you ever become head of the Goetia family is beyond me. If I was in charge, I would have you killed, and your soul tortured for all eternity for this. Along with those Imps and Hellhound." Stolas scoffed at that.
"Don't try to criticize me, Mordekaiser. You revealed yourself too." Said Stolas, calling Mordekaiser out on his hypocrisy. "How will you explain to Lucifer and the other lords of Hell about this? I doubt they would be happy to hear about this."
"No, they won't." Agreed Mordekaiser. "But, unlike you, I have brought ways to erase the memories of these humans of this day's events along with ways to erase any recordings they have of this day." As soon as he said that several portals opened up around Mordekaiser. Out of them came Karthus and several members of the Iron Guard, led by Mortem. Upon arriving, Karthus brought out a tome from his robes. He then opened it before turning to the humans and beginning to chant. Soon, the humans began to go woozy as they felt the spell that Karthus was casting on them. Eventually, they all fell down to the floor with one stabbing himself with his own sword. Scoffing at this, Karthus looked at Mordekaiser.
"The living here is dealt with." Said Karthus. "I'll be dealing with the rest soon."
"Do so." Said Mordekaiser, which Karthus did, channeling his powers to the tome and chanting as well. While this was happening, Mordekaiser looked at Mortem and nodded. With that, Mortem went to the nearest security station to erase whatever security recordings there were on what happened this night. Once Mortem left with a few other soldiers, Mordekaiser went back to looking at Stolas. "As you can see, I have my thralls remove any possible evidence relating to the existence of Hell. Something I doubt that you would have done because of these humans." He then looked at the unconscious humans in the room. "Will be considered by most of their kind as insane, even with evidence on their side."
"Because they will be." Said Stolas. "Mordekaiser, you're being paranoid. The rest of the humans see these humans, this D.H.O.R.K.S. as a bunch of insane idiots that dabble too much in paranormal activity. Even with physical evidence, the humans would still not take them seriously. You do know how advanced technology is, yes?"
"That doesn't excuse you for not attempting to remove evidence of our existence." Said Mordekaiser as his eyes glow brighter than before, scaring the Imps, Gwen, and Loona. "In case you have forgotten we are not allowed to reveal ourselves to the human world, according to ancient laws. Laws that even I obey because I do not wish to have war with Heaven as of yet. If Heaven figures out, we revealed ourselves to humans, which, I might add, was already done with these fools." He pointed at I.M.P. before continuing. "Then they may as well, at the very least, impose more Exterminations on us because of this as punishment. That is if they don't declare war on us for this!" Mordekaiser then calmed himself before he could lose himself, not wanting to cause an even bigger scene than what was already done today. Waiting for Mordekaiser to calm himself, Stolas was about to risk teleporting I.M.P. to safety when Gwen let out a weak groan of pain. The blood she was losing was starting to take its toll on her. Upon hearing that, Mordekaiser looked at the girl and instantly felt what exactly was wrong with her. Not her injuries, no, but why her soul felt incomplete. A closer look at her revealed the reason behind it. She genuinely had only a part of a human soul. Such a thing was intriguing to Mordekaiser, having never seen anything like this before. Curious, he began talking to the girl while ordering Karthus to heal her. Surprised at this, Karthus nonetheless did what he ordered and began healing the girl.
"What is your name child?" Asked Mordekaiser as he looked at the girl. Surprised at this question, Gwen looked at Mordekaiser as best she could with all the spikes in her before speaking.
"G-Gwen." Said Gwen, trying hard to speak through the pain that was beginning to heal because of Karthus. The spikes were still inside her, but the pain was beginning to go away.
"Tell me, Gwen." Said Mordekaiser as he looked at the girl, ignoring Stolas and I.M.P. so that he can completely focus on the girl. "Why do you only have a partial soul of a human?" The Imps and Hellhound looked confused at that while Stolas and Karthus looked surprised at that. Gwen was among the latter portion of the group, intriguing Mordekaiser. So, she didn't know about it. Intriguing.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Said Gwen honestly. "I don't honestly know."
"I believe you." Said Mordekaiser. "So, tell me, how do you come to be? Lie and I'll leave you to your fate to Stolas." Gwen, looking at the bird demon, decided that it be best to negotiate with the giant metal monstrosity than the bird and so spoke up.
"I…I don't know honestly." Said Gwen as Mordekaiser looked at her impassively while Stolas glared at her with malice in his eyes, his hand being stayed by Mordekaiser's presence as well as his own curiosity with this girl, now that some of his rage is abated. "I woke up one day on the streets of this city with no memories to speak of. The same day, I came upon the only friend in my life." She then looked at Warwick, causing Mordekaiser to look at him as well. Upon seeing the werewolf and seeing it trying to free itself to no avail, Mordekaiser couldn't help but be intrigued with him as well.
Unlike the blue-haired female, this werewolf had a full human soul within him, but there was something else. Or rather somethings. This wolf thing seemed to be an amalgamation of various animals, blended together with a human soul, to create what this Warwick was. It created an imbalance between the various souls, yet this Warwick seemed to be stable. For the most part. Intrigued, Mordekaiser looked back at the girl, eager to hear what else she had to say.
"Anything else?" Asked Mordekaiser, already wanting these two for his own legions. But perhaps there was something else she can offer him. Something that he wanted to have. Gwen simply gulped before speaking.
"Ever since we meet each other, we've been living together, trying to scrape a living for the both of us." Explained Gwen. "As we lived together, I uncovered some things about the afterlife, specifically you and your kingdom, Mordekaiser." Upon hearing that, Mordekaiser was even more intrigued. She knew about the Immortal Bastion and himself? Quite intriguing. Motioning her to continue, Gwen spoke up again. "Since then, I've been trying to find a way to get to Hell so that I can tell you what may want to know. And I will tell you if you save me and my friend from this Stolas. If that's possible, mind you." Mordekaiser couldn't help but internally chuckle at her wish. She was at the mercy of Stolas and himself and she thought it was a good idea to ask him something? Especially when he held the power to just kill her and then resurrect her as a loyal servant? She was either very brave, arrogant, or very stupid. Still, what she said was sufficient enough to garner his attention and his want to have both her and Warwick for himself. Besides, if sparing her and this Warwick will anger Stolas and get him riled up, then he was all for it. The Goetia prince needed a lesson in humility. And a lesson to keep his libido and lust in check.
With his mindset, he looked at Stolas and demanded him to give him Gwen and Warwick, much to Stolas' shock. Once he recovered, Stolas glared at Mordekaiser.
"These two have hurt my poor Blitzy and his employees and you want to spare them?!" Demanded Stolas in anger. Mordekaiser scoffed at this.
"I intend to give them a place amongst my people." Said Mordekaiser as he looked at Gwen, who was shocked at what Mordekaiser just said. "I may not have seen them in battle, but from what I see right now, it seems they are good fighters. Especially since they've beaten your littles Imps without much effort." He then looked at Stolas' own wounds. "And unless you fought something prior to coming here, they are the reason for that wound on your person. Such talent and power should not be wasted, especially if they can be improved upon. So, I will be taking them from you Stolas. In return, I'll heal the Imps of their injuries. Without any hidden agendas or meanings behind them. And I won't report to Lucifer of this little incident. Take it, or I'll beat you to an inch of your life. Is that clear?" Stolas just stared at Mordekaiser as he thought of this deal.
On one hand, Mordekaiser was giving him a chance to heal Blitzo free of charge and without any hidden agendas. Blitzo, his favorite Imp, will be healed to his full condition before this awful night happened and without any strings attached to the offer with the exception of giving the ones responsible for his injuries to the Iron Revenant.
Normally Stolas would take such a deal, but his anger with the ones called Gwen and Warwick were great. Not only did they harm his Blitzy, but the blue-haired bitch actually managed to hurt him.
To harm a high-ranking demon such as him was no easy feat unless one is of equal strength to him. To have this strange blue-haired girl hurt him was somewhat concerning, even if he managed to incapacitate her relatively easily. To give Mordekaiser such a powerful figure was somewhat concerning as Stolas was certain he would use her in his own power games in Hell. And that wasn't even thinking about the one called Warwick.
A part of him wanted to deny Mordekaiser, to deny him a tool for him to use against the other demons of Hell and that he could easily heal Blitzy and his entire group without Mordekaiser's assistance. Plus, this deal benefitted Mordekaiser more than Stolas. Stolas would only get free healing for Blitzo and his underlings, healing that Stolas can easily do without much problem. The only thing he got from this deal was keeping this incident hidden from Lucifer who would no doubt be angered with him for revealing himself to the living world and for giving his grimoire to lowly Imps. Lucifer was many things, but he wasn't exactly compassionate to those that would give powerful objects to what many believe is the lowest class of demon in Hell, especially if they use it to kill the living. What Lucifer would do to him and his family if he ever found out was something Stolas didn't know, and he rather not know. Honestly, if he was going to accept this deal, it was only to keep Lucifer from finding out.
He was thinking about it long and hard when he heard a voice coming from behind him.
"Take the deal, Stolas." Said Blitzo as he looked at Stolas while Loona was holding him in her arms, showing an uncharacteristic amount of care and worry for her adopted father. Hearing that, Stolas looked back at Blitzo, who was looking at him with a stern look on his face. "Just take the fucking deal, Stolas. You and I both know that Mordekaiser will kill us all if it means he gets what he wants and right now what he wants is the fucking blue bitch and her hound dog." Warwick growled at that, wanting to rip Blitzo apart for calling Gwen a bitch, but otherwise couldn't do anything else. Seeing Blitzo tell him to take the deal, despite his injuries, caused Stolas to sigh. Swallowing his pride and urge or revenge, Stolas turned to Mordekaiser and offered his hand
"Deal." Said Stolas. His acceptance of the deal caused Mordekaiser to huff in satisfaction but also an annoyance. Of course, he would do it when that Imp asked him to do it. The fool. "But do me a favor, keep that bitch and her wolf away from me and my Blitzy. If either of them dares to hurt him again, they die. Understood?"
"You are in no position to threaten them or me, Stolas." Said Mordekaiser as he glared at Stolas, causing him to take a step back. "Injure them again and I'll personally come to punish you for your insolence. Even if you feel they deserve your wrath. They are now under my protection. And they will do what I order them to and if those orders pertain to working with you or those I.M.P. then they will do so without your complaints." Stolas growled at that before bowing to Mordekaiser, knowing he was outmatched. Satisfied that Stolas had backed down so easily, Mordekaiser demanded the Goetia to release Warwick and Gwen, which he did with some reluctance.
Landing on the floor, Gwen gave a gasp of pain as the tendrils retracted from her body. Blood flowed out of the holes caused by the tendrils before being healed by Karthus, who did the same with Warwick. Once he was free, Warwick growled at the Imps and was about to pounce when Gwen stopped him by giving him a pleading look. Giving a soft scoff at that, Warwick nonetheless stood down and went over to Gwen. With her friend close by, Gwen placed a hand on his snout and neck before beginning to rub them, both for herself and Warwick. Seeing this, Mordekaiser gave a grunt of amusement before opening a portal back to Hell. After ordering Karthus to go with the Imps so he can heal them as part of the deal he made with Stolas. He also ordered one of the remaining Iron Guard in the room to remain so they can inform Mortem of his departure, Mordekaiser looked at Gwen and Warwick. Looking down at both of them, Mordekaiser motioned for them to go through the portal he made, which they did after some reluctance from Gwen. Looking at Mordekaiser, Gwen felt the callousness and ruthless emitting from his soul, and it scared her. Still, she owed him a debt for saving her and Warwick, thus she was eager to repay him in any way she can. A debt that, may or may not be repaid with the information she held. After they went through the portal, Mordekaiser looked to see Stolas making his own portal and motioning for the Imps and Hellhound to go through it. As they did, Mordekaiser yelled out to Stolas.
"And Stolas!" Yelled Mordekaiser, causing the Goetia to look at Mordekaiser while Karthus went through Stolas' portal. "If I.M.P. pulls something like this again, I will rip them apart and have them tortured for all eternity for it." Though enraged at that and wanting to fight Mordekaiser for saying such things, Stolas kept calm.
"Understood." Said Stolas with gritted teeth. Mordekaiser scoffed at that before telling him that he'll be seeing them again once Karthus was done with them. Stolas was about to yell at Mordekaiser that he won't let Blitzo anywhere near him when Mordekaiser went through the portal, which closed the moment he went through it, leaving Stolas alone with unconscious humans.
Later
Gwen
Immortal Bastion
"So, this is the home of Mordekaiser and his people." Said Gwen as she looked around the darkroom that Mordekaiser had gifted her and Warwick.
It was a large spacious room, far bigger than the apartment that she and Warwick used to live in back in the living world. It had its own private shower/bathroom, a massive T.V. for viewing pleasures, a kitchen, and even separate beds for the both of them, though Warwick preferred just taking the sheets and laid them on the floor so he can sleep there.
Speaking of her friend, with the spikes from before no longer interfering, Warwick's heightened biology began to heal him. Within moments after entering Hell, his wounds were completely gone. This, of course, intrigued Mordekaiser a great deal. Enough apparently to give them this fine room.
Although Gwen was flattered with the room, she wondered what Mordekaiser intended to do to them. She knew that Mordekaiser saving them wasn't for altruistic means. He wanted to know what they were and how they came to be. Even though she told him that she held information that he would like to hear about if he saved her and Warwick from Stolas, that didn't mean he won't kill them and resurrect them to serve him loyally forever. Although he could have easily done so the moment, they entered his realm and, given the fact that he gave them this nice room, it appears the Iron Revenant intended to let them live. But why, she didn't know, and she had a feeling that she won't like it.
Sighing, she looked over to Warwick, who was currently laying on the floor, looking out a window to see the skies of Hell. Although he tried to hide it, Gwen knew that Warwick felt a bit of disgust for being in Hell. Even though she knew that he felt that he belonged in Hell on account of his past, she also knew that he wasn't prepared to go to Hell just yet and it saddened her that he was dragged into this, and it was all because of her. Going over to her friend, Gwen kneeled before her friend, she began stroking his ears, causing him to look over at her, one eye looking right at her.
"Quite a day, hasn't it, Warwick?" Asked Gwen with a smile, trying to lighten the mood. Warwick just snorted before speaking.
"Achieved your goal, didn't you?" Asked Warwick in a rough and stern voice. "Now, you just have to tell this Mordekaiser what you know, and we can go about our lives."
"I don't think we can go back to our lives, Warwick." Said Gwen, causing Warwick to scoff.
"Of course not." Said Warwick as Gwen started to stroke his fur. "This Mordekaiser is ruthless. Pragmatic. And, perhaps most of all, ambitious. I sensed it all. No doubt he intends to have us as part of his armies. To use us as simple foot soldiers in whatever wars he has against the other rulers of Hell. And I very much doubt he'll want to let us go after we've told him everything you hold." Gwen sighed at that, knowing that Warwick was right. Mordekaiser, from what she saw, would want them for his armies and he made that perfectly clear with his conversation with Stolas. A small part of her wanted to fight the revenant for their freedom, but she knew that she could never win. She fought an Imp to a standstill. An Imp! What chance did she have against a lord of Hell?
"I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Warwick." Said Gwen as tears began to form in her eyes. "You don't deserve any of this." Warwick looked at her teary eyes. Scoffing, he spoke up.
"Bah." Said Warwick. "I don't deserve your tears, Gwen. I'm a monster. Even before I was transformed into this, I was a monster. A murderer. A man that did bad things for money. I deserve to be here in Hell, amongst other murderers. You, however, are not. You're an innocent little girl that deserves nothing coming to her right now but does because of the actions of a foolish man." Gwen bit her lip at that, knowing who he was referring to. Tightening her hands at the thought of that man, Gwen actually looked angry. She looked like she wanted to hurt someone, much like when that female Imp insulted Warwick.
Gwen was about to speak up when the door to their room opened, revealing an Iron Guard warrior.
"Mordekaiser has summoned you." Said the warrior, his emotionless tone revealing nothing of how he felt with having living beings in Hell, let alone the Immortal Bastion. Upon hearing that, Gwen sighed and got up along with Warwick.
"Time to tell Mordekaiser of what he wants to know." Said Gwen. Warwick nodded at that before the two followed the Iron Guard warrior.
Meanwhile
"I must admit, my lord, you surprise me." Said Thresh with a smile as he looked at Mordekaiser upon his throne. "Not only did you nearly start a fight with the prince of the Goetia family, but you also brought the living to Hell. *Chuckles* I wonder what Lucifer would think of this?"
"What Lucifer thinks of this means nothing." Said Mordekaiser as he looked upon Thresh. "These two belong to me now and they will serve me until death. And even then, they will continue to serve. Whether that be as warriors or as stone." Thresh laughed darkly at that and was about to make a request when Gwen and Warwick arrived, escorted by four Iron Guard warriors. Upon seeing them, Mordekaiser spoke.
"Welcome." Said Mordekaiser as they walked towards him. "I trust that my fortress city is accommodating to the both of you?" Smiling at that, Gwen decided to be courteous to him so as not to incur his wrath.
"The room you provided is quite excellent." Said Gwen honestly. "I never thought you would ever have such a room in your city."
"I've had to house people within these walls, young child." Explained Mordekaiser as he looked at Gwen. "Your room, along with many others, is just one of many services my kingdom offers to the rest of Hell. In time you will know my history along with the rest of Hells'. For now, however, you will tell me what I want to know." He then leaned forward to look at Gwen. "What information do you possess that can intrigue me?" Sighing a bit, Gwen looked at Warwick, who simply huffed. Sighing again, she took some steps forward to Mordekaiser. Preparing herself, she spoke up.
"What do you know of a kingdom called Camevor?" Asked Gwen. The question called Thresh to lightly widen his eyes in surprise before he grinned nastily.
"Oh, this will be good." Thought Thresh as Mordekaiser replied to the girl that he had known nothing of such a kingdom, thus causing her to speak up.
How would people feel about a prequel regarding Gwen and Warwick? Before they meet up with Mordekaiser and I.M.P.? Sound doable?
