Chapter 19
Rosie
"When this is all over, I'm going to tear this place apart and feed the owners of this establishment to some of my more cannibalistic employees." Thought Rosie as she inspected the bed she was given with a scowl on her face. The bed, if it can even be called that, was filled with demonic lice, and had old stains of various origins on it and the sheets. She then looked at the toilet of her room and saw it filled with gunk, a result of her trying to flush it.
Turning to face the T.V., it had a hole in it that prevented it from functioning, and it constantly spewed out sparks because of it. And she didn't even want to look at the shower. Oh, she was going to tear this place apart.
When she wanted an inconspicuous place to live while she tried to head to the safe house she had that contained all the evidence she had against Kayle, she wanted it to at least be somewhat acceptable to live in. She chose this motel because not only was it close by to her safe house, but also because it was so rundown that Kayle would never think that she would ever go there as a place to hide and while it did both those purposes well, it did the latter a bit too much.
Remembering what the motel owner said to her about it being the finest room in the entire motel, she shuddered to see what the state of the others as if this was the finest room.
Flexing her fingers, Rosie thought about calling Helska and Dryska on the status of the list of things that she sent them to retrieve but thought against it. Without her own items, the things that she sent them to retrieve weren't as useful with them, especially against someone like Kayle. Even more so when they don't have support from Mordekaiser. While she was confident, she can't beat Kayle, she was confident that the angel can't beat Mordekaiser, no matter how skilled she was in battle.
Thinking on Mordekaiser, she wondered what she would do next after Kayle was dealt with. Will she finally take the offer that he offered so long ago? To become his wife and the lady of the Immortal Bastion? Truth be told, the deal was still so appealing as it was thousands of years ago. Perhaps even more so when she saw that he continually refused various demonettes, some more beautiful than her, not just because of principal, but because he still felt something for her. And she to him.
Placing a hand on her chest, she wondered how her employees will fare from her rapidly rising the ranks of Hell's hierarchy from a hell-born Overlord to something akin to demon royalty. Most wouldn't care as it was a simple promotion while others may not like it just because. Some of her customers may not like it though because of the Immortal Bastion. If she recalled some of her regular customers, particularly those from various royal families, hated the Immortal Bastion on account of Mordekaiser and his various lieutenants, notably Thresh, humiliating them or just plain insulting them during the various obligatory meetings they attend. But honestly, that mattered little to her when she got so much power from becoming a lady of the Immortal Bastion.
Her ambitions taking over slightly, she grinned in delight at the thought of her various enemies and rivals suddenly being nicer to her on account of her newly gained status. Being one of the weaker Overlords, she had various other demons of power snidely make remarks on her lack of power compared to them during the many meetings she attended in Lucifer's court. Some even dared to insinuate she used her body as a way to ensure her survival, something that enraged her to no end. She wasn't a bimbo from Lust, and she would have ripped those Overlords apart for daring such things if they weren't more powerful than her. Now let's see them make those comments once she was a full-blown lady of the Immortal Bastion.
As she thought more about this, she heard a knock from her door that was soon followed by the door falling off its hinges and crashing down on the floor. Twitching her eye in annoyance, she was about to demand who would dare knock on her door when she blinked in surprise. Looking at her was Crucian, Mordekaiser's spymaster along with three Imps.
Crucian, she knew about by history alone, but the Imps she had no knowledge on. They looked familiar, but she can't put her finger on them. Nevertheless, if Crucian was here, then that meant something was amiss, and given that Crucian was looking at her, she can only guess it involved her.
Normally this would be a cause of concern for most as Crucian was normally someone that wasn't sent on missions without great cause, but Rosie actually wanted to see someone of the Immortal Bastion, even if he was accompanied by Imps. Smoothing her dress over a bit on the knees, she spoke up.
"Crucian, I presume?" Asked Rosie her typical smile on her face, acting as if she wasn't at all minding that he was here. Crucian nodded before entering the room, not bothering to ask to enter, much to Rosie's annoyance.
"Miss Rosie, I bring news from Mordekaiser." Said Crucian as he looked at Rosie with his translucent-like face. "You are to meet him at the Hazbin Hotel immediately." Blinking upon hearing that, Rosie asked why.
"Because of your recent interactions with my lord as well as your recent behavior in general, my lord decided to bring you to him to explain your behavior. And, if necessary, force you to comply." Explained Crucian while the Imps around him were flicking their tails, nervously looking at the Overlord before them. Despite being one of the weaker ones, Rosie was still more than powerful enough to kill them all if she so desired and Crucian just told her that Mordekaiser wanted her to be brought before him with force if necessary. Rosie, however, was not planning on doing so. In fact, she was relieved upon hearing that Mordekaiser was finally planning on doing something about her behavior. In addition, it was at the princess' hotel, where her son was working in.
Not only would there be protection for her, but for their son as well, enabling her to tell Mordekaiser everything without worrying for her son's safety at the same time. Her employees may be in danger of Kayle's wrath, but she hoped that the angel wouldn't dare do such a thing when she had bigger problems on her hands, like an angered revenant coming for her head.
"Very well." Said Rosie. "Take me to Mordekaiser." Slightly surprised that she was coming with him so quickly, Crucian moved out of the way of Rosie as she exited her room. "But first, let me talk with the owner of this establishment. The conditions of this room are beyond unacceptable, and punishment must be given." She was about to head down when Crucian grabbed her arm.
"We're going to the hotel now." Said Crucian, looking at Rosie in the eye, making the Imps around him nervous as Rosie looked at his arm. Normally Rosie would obliterate Crucian for daring to lay his hands on her, but she let it go as she wanted to speak to Mordekaiser without any more complications than there already were.
"Very well." Said Rosie as she made Crucian let go of her arm. She then gave him a rather gruesome smile. "Let's go to your master, spymaster. I'm sure he's eager to hear what I have to say, especially about how rude you are." Crucian said nothing as Rosie requested, more like ordered in Crucian's mind, the Imps to escort her, which they did without hesitation. Watching as Blitzo, Moxxie, and Millie left with Rosie, Crucian soon followed, wondering what Mordekaiser is doing right now and how he'll react to whatever Rosie has to say about her behavior.
Meanwhile
"Where's the princess?" Demanded Mayberry as she looked at Husk, who was groaning to himself as he looked at the assembled crowd before him, asking the same question and making a ruckus. Comprised of both hotel employees and patrons, Husk shrugged his shoulders and wondered where the hell was Vaggie or someone else that actually knew where the fuck the princess was because he had no fucking clue.
As far as he could tell, the princess was attacked by some sort of shadowy creature, and it was all over Voxnet and social media. No one knows how Charlie's parents were reacting to this along with the other rulers of Hell, but Husk didn't care about that. What he did care about was the group of people that were in front of him right now that were getting increasingly agitated with Husk not answering the question, he didn't have the answer to. Damn Vaggie for sending most of the Iron Guard in search of Charlie. The rest, including Sahn-Ikal, were assigned to different locations all over the hotel, meaning no one was around in the lobby to detract this bunch of people from interrupting him and his booze.
"Look, I don't have any fucking clue on where the fuck the Princess is, so quit asking me that fucking question!" Yelled Husk before drinking his booze. That angered a few people and some were about to get physical when Vaggie yelled out.
"QUIET!" Yelled Vaggie as she glared at them all, her spear in hand. Standing atop the stairs, Vaggie and two Iron Guard warriors were glaring down at everyone. After getting everyone's attention, the white-haired Sinner spoke up. "As you all know, the princess is missing after being attacked by that thing on Voxnet. Whether she's…dead," Everyone noticed how difficult it was for Vaggie to say the last word before continuing. "is something that we don't know. What we do know, however, is that this doesn't change anything about the hotel and its goal. We're here to rehabilitate you and send you all to a better place. Even if the owner of the hotel is gone, we'll still do what we can to make sure you all go to a better place, free from the cruelty of Hell." As people were processing this, the door to the hotel was suddenly brought down.
Growling at that, Vaggie was about to yell at whoever knocked it down when she saw Mordekaiser coming in and stopped at the last second.
"Well spoken, child." Said Mordekaiser as he entered the hotel, his massive form breaking down the entranceway even more as he forced his way through. Everyone grew silent upon seeing Mordekaiser, fearing his dreadful gaze upon them. Looking over everyone, his eyes focused on Vaggie before speaking. "I can see why Lucifer permitted his daughter to have a relationship with you. The two of you complement each other well." Although she would normally blush at the praise, Vaggie instead glared at Mordekaiser due to what happened to Charlie and how she didn't know where she was, worrying the sinner to near death. Before she could speak up, Mordekaiser spoke again. "If none of you require my presence, I shall find what I seek from the hotel and depart." Upon hearing that, Vaggie rose an eyebrow.
"What the fuck could you want from us?" Asked Vaggie, upset that Mordekaiser wasn't here to help out in finding Charlie. Mordekaiser ignored the question and looked around the assembled crowd, wondering if the sound that came from one of them. Before he could continue that search for long, he heard the melody again, coming from the upper floors of the hotel. Drawn to the melody, Mordekaiser marched towards the stairs of the hotel. Everyone scrambled to get out of the path of the Iron Revenant as he made his way to the stairs. Vaggie, much as she wanted to gut Mordekaiser with her spear, moved out of the way of the lord of the Immortal Bastion as he went towards the upper floors of the hotel, each footstep causing great stress on the steps. The two Iron Guard soldiers move to escort him, but Mordekaiser stood them down, not wanting their presence yet.
"Damn. Talk about a real cold jackass." Said Angel Dust as he looked at Vaggie from a sofa in the lobby. Some people muttered that in agreement before the crowd began to disperse, too afraid to make a fuss while Mordekaiser was at the hotel. As everyone dispersed, Miss Mayberry walked over to Vaggie and spoke up.
"Can you ask one question? Is miss Charlotte dea…" Mayberry wasn't able to finish that sentence when Vaggie gave a glare at her. Not at anger at Mayberry specifically, but anger that the thought of Charlie being dead. Mayberry also noticed that there was fear with that anger. Fear of Charlie being dead. Fear that went beyond simple friendship. Blinking at that, Mayberry didn't say anything when Vaggie went up the stairs and took the flight of stairs opposite to the ones that Mordekaiser took. Unsure of how to respond to this, Mayberry looked at the flight of stairs that Mordekaiser took and wondered what he wanted.
Mordekaiser, meanwhile, walked down the hallway of the hotel's third floor. Mordekaiser, not wanting to create a mess, magically shrunk down to a more acceptable size. Rarely did he ever adopt shrink his massive size, finding his stature to be more appropriate and more efficient when it comes to showing his power to everyone, but he made an exception when it came to the sweet melody he was hearing.
Speaking of that sweet melody, he could sense that it was getting closer and closer to him. As he walked, he felt the power behind the melody but it wasn't like any power that he felt before.
Unlike those in Hell, the power behind the melody was sweet and soft. Almost angelic in the way it waved over him, both body and soul. Such a power was a curiosity to him and no doubt to other powers in Hell so he was eager to acquire it for himself as well as figure out where it came from.
Soon, he found the melody was coming from a nearby door. Looking upon it, he opened it without care to the room's inhabitants and found a blue-haired woman playing a rather curious instrument.
The woman was, for all intents and purposes, a beauty. Long flowing blue twin-tails with yellow highlights at the end went down to her thighs. Her gray skin was beautiful to look at and was flawless with no blemishes in sight. Her flowing, blue dress covered everything but her ample chest, revealing the entirety of her cleavage as well as the upper parts of her breasts. Eyes closed, the woman played her strange instrument, some sort of floating string instrument, whose design seemed to be based on some Chinese string instrument, a Guzheng if he recalled. Soon, she was done and she opened her eyes, revealing beautiful blue eyes that reminded Mordekaiser of the oceans of Earth, back when he was alive. Looking at Mordekaiser, she smiled at him, surprising the Iron Revenant a bit as normally people would look upon him in fear because of his appearance and reputation. Seeing that she wasn't speaking, Mordekaiser spoke.
"You have a curious instrument." Said Mordekaiser as he entered the woman's room, not even bothering to ask her if she would invite him in. Mordekaiser sensed annoyance from the woman for this, but he ignored it. Closing the door and locking it, he spoke up again. "Tell me, how did you come to possess such an instrument? How could a Sinner possess such an interesting instrument? Much less have the power to have her music be heard through the mental connection I have with my warriors." She took a deep breath before speaking.
"I do not know, Lord Mordekaiser." Said the woman. "When I arrived in Hell, I had this instrument with me along with my strange powers. I do not know why I have them."
"I see." Said Mordekaiser as he turned his attention fully to the woman. "Tell me your name woman." It was not a request. It was an order, and she knew it.
"Sona." Said the woman as she looked at Mordekaiser looking at her, feeling a chill crawl up her spine as the Iron Revenant's gaze was upon her.
"Sona." Said Mordekaiser. "Sona, would you like to become a citizen of the Immortal Bastion?"

Hecarim
Hecarim, meanwhile, was growing more and more agitated as he felt a voice stirring his mind. Ever since Mordekaiser left for whatever reason, the voice that he spoke up to him was growing louder and louder with each passing second to the point that his men were growing out of control and attacking anything they see on sight. And, to make matters worse, Hecarim was also beginning to hear the voice. As a result, Karthus ordered the entirety of the Iron Order to be restrained until he can decipher what is happening. That included Hecarim, much to the spectral centaur's rage. Ultimately, however, he bowed to Karthus' orders as he outranked him.
So, the entirety of the Iron Order, which composed of over three hundred specters and their horses, was forced to remain in their quarters, guarded by several full companies of the Iron Guard, lead by Mortem.
Pacing around his quarters, Hecarim tried his best to ignore the voice in his head while Karthus was using his magic to decipher what is going on. Around them were Mortem and three other Iron Guard soldiers.
"Hm…intriguing." Said Karthus as he finished his examination. "Some sort of mental connection exists between you and another. And it was recently formed through your past affiliations."
"What? What do you mean, Lich?" Demanded Hecarim as he looked at Karthus, who was holding the book he acquired from Stolas, using the knowledge within to try to decipher what is wrong with Hecarim.
"It means that someone or something that you have prior relations with has used those relations to form a mental link between you and them." Explained Karthus. "Most intriguing. Tell me, do you know of anyone that has the power to do so? Anyone that may wish to usurp our lord?"
"I do not, Lich." Said Hecarim. "Nor do I like what you're implying. I serve Mordekaiser faithfully. I would never betray him."
"Oh, I do not doubt that, Hecarim." Said Karthus. "What I have implied, however, is very likely the reason for this epidemic on the Iron Order." That caused Hecarim to blink.
"What do you mean, Lich?" Demanded Hecarim.
"I believe a person from your past has established some sort of mental link between you and them." Explained Karthus. "Tell me, is there anyone that has a connection towards you that neither I nor Mordekaiser knows of? Someone that has authority over you previously?" Hecarim growled at that before replying.
"None." Said Hecarim. "The only one that has authority over the Iron Order is the king that I served while I was amongst the living. Viego." Karthus hummed at that.
"Interesting." Said Karthus as he processed this. "I will need to look further into this Viego. See if his soul came here or if it's in some other section in the Pride Ring. In the meantime, I'll have some of my fellow Liches try to remove the voice in your head along with the entirety of your order. If nothing else, they'll try to lessen the burden the voice has on your men." With that Karthus left while Mortem stayed behind to keep an eye on Hecarim. Glaring at Mortem, Hecarim asked him if he found this amusing.
"I do not." Said Mortem with his typical raspy voice. "This affiliation occurring across the Iron Order is a threat to our people. As a result, I find no amusement from this ordeal." Hecarim scoffed at that before looking at a mirror nearby. Hecarim wasn't really a vain creature, but the mirror helped him when he needed to be presentable during the various parties and events he was forced to attend along with his lord and master. Sometimes he wished Mordekaiser would just take the throne for himself, but Mordekaiser often told him that the time was not right and that they needed to grow more in strength.
"If we attack now, we risk the intervention of the rest of the demon princes and lords of Hell uniting against us." Those were Mordekaiser's words and words that he took to heart, even if he disagreed with them.
The rest of Hell's leadership were either fools that knew nothing of tactics or spent more time indulging themselves in their own pleasures, rather than be true lords and ladies. It was just like Viego when he met that whore Isolde. The fool became too obsessed with her over time and it cost him everything. As he thought of Isolde and how foolish it was that Viego chose her, Hecarim suddenly received a pulse of pain that racked all over his body, making him scream out in pain.
Mortem and his men, seeing this, readied themselves as they kept watch over Hecarim, unsure of what to do. Screaming out, Hecarim rammed his fist against his mirror, breaking it as he tried to keep himself under control. Eventually, the voice from before came back and it spoke in full clarity.
"Never think such things to your queen and king, Hecarim!" Yelled the voice before the pain went away, leaving Hecarim to pant as he tried to recover.
Mortem, seeing that Hecarim was finished flaying around, walked up to him and asked if he was alright. Annoyed at the question, Hecarim demanded Mortem to lead him to Karthus, saying that he found the source of the voice amongst him and his order.
Meanwhile
Sahn-Ikal
"You haven't seen the princess?" Asked Sahn-Ikal to a lone sinner in a bar. Spitting at Sahn-Ikal, the sinner told him to piss off before leaving. Growling at such disrespect, Sahn-Ikal wiped the spit from his face with a handkerchief in his person before leaving the bar, where he spotted Alastor speaking with an Iron Guard member, laughing over something.
"Oh, Sahn-Ikal! How is the son of one of my closet's compatriots!" Yelled Alastor as he spotted Sahn-Ikal leave the bar.
"Couldn't find anything about the princess." Said Sahn-Ikal as he looked at Alastor. "Nothing from your shadows or from the other Iron Guard members?"
"Negative." Said the Iron Guard member in a raspy voice, much like every other Iron Guard soldier. "We have found nothing on the princess other than what we already know."
"And my shadows aren't finding anything either." Said Alastor, twirling his cane a bit. "Hmm… whoever attacked the princess certainly knows how to hide his tracks. I would commend them if they haven't harmed one of my primary sources of entertainment." Sahn-Ikal just ignored that comment as he knew that was how Alastor would respond before looking over at the Iron Guard soldier, intending on discussing with him where to proceed next when the soldier raised its head in surprise.
"My lord." Said the Iron Guard soldier as he realized where Mordekaiser was now. "My lord is present at the hotel as we speak." Upon hearing that, Sahn-Ikal widened his eyes in shock. His father was present at the hotel now. That was beyond excellent for him. That meant he can finally tell him what was going on with his mother as well as tell Mordekaiser that he had a son.
Alastor must have realized this as well as he told Sahn-Ikal that they shouldn't waste time in going back to the hotel. Annoyed that Alastor intended on stopping him from meeting with his father, Sahn-Ikal intended on telling Alastor that he wasn't going to stop him when Alastor told him that he'll take him there to make things quick, stunning Sahn-Ikal. Smiling at the surprised look on Sahn-Ikal's face, Alastor opened up a portal.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Asked Alastor with a wide smile. "Didn't you wish to meet your father for the first time? Go on then. I insist." Although skeptical at Alastor's sudden wish to allow him to see his father, Sahn-Ikal trusted him enough that he wouldn't try to deceive him, at least with this. However, that did not mean he wasn't hiding something from him or that he had something to gain by having him go and meet his father, whatever that gain may be. Still, the urge to see his father was overwhelming. Though normally he would try to resist, to try and ignore his urges, this one was too powerful for him to ignore. Though he will likely face scorn from his mother for his recklessness, he would willfully take it as he both wanted to see his father for the first time face to face and to tell him about the angel Kayle before it was too late. Every second counted.
As a result, and despite knowing that Alastor was planning something, he went through the portal. Smiling as the portal closed, Alastor wondered how Sahn-Ikal will react to what his shadow saw back at the hotel. Of Mordekaiser with that woman named Sona.
Sona
"I…I do not know what to say, lord Mordekaiser." Said Sona as she looked at Mordekaiser as he looked at the woman in front of him.
"Rarely do I give such an invitation to anyone unless they earn it." Said Mordekaiser. "However, your power is something that interests me. It's nothing that I have ever seen or before in a Sinner. You are…intriguing and is something that I must have."
"So that none of your rivals can use it against you?" Suggested Sona, making Mordekaiser scoff a bit.
"Indeed." Said Mordekaiser. "But also because I need some…entertainment in my kingdom. I've tried expanding what my people can offer to the other domains in Hell and I find that I'm lacking in entertainment to offer. So, I'm willing to extend this invitation to you. However, to prove that you are indeed worthy, I want to see you play your instrument. But without your mysterious powers. I wish to see if the music you play is even half as good as I think with your powers, then perhaps you can be of worth to my kingdom." Sona, upon hearing that, nodded at that before taking out her instrument and began playing it, filling the room with beautiful music.
Just as Mordekaiser thought, her music was exquisite. It was divine. Almost as if it came from God himself. And when he tried to sense if she was using her strange powers to enhance her music, he found that she wasn't using magic at all. At least intentionally. It was the instrument itself. This was just a theory, but the instrument seemed to harness whatever power she had and used it to enhance the music is played. Passively too it seemed.
Humming to himself, Mordekaiser thought long and hard at this as Sona continued to play her instrument. After a few more minutes, he ordered her to stop and speak.
"Well done." Said Mordekaiser as he addressed Sona. "Your music is unlike anything I have ever heard. Such talent should not go to waste. So please, accept my invitation to the Immortal Bastion, where you'll receive both the fame and recognition that your music deserves to have." Sona smiled at that and spoke up.
"I've always wanted to play for a lord in Hell, but I never thought I would get the chance." Said Sona with excitement. Mordekaiser nodded at that.
"Well, you have received that chance with me." Said Mordekaiser as he got up. "An escort will arrive later this day to take you from this place. By the time you arrive, a room will be prepared for you. I expect great things from you, Sona. You do not wish to know what happens to those that fail me." Though she shuddered at the veiled threat, Sona nodded at that. Satisfied that she knew the consequences for failing, Mordekaiser was about to leave when she stopped him.
"Wait, my lord." Said Sona before bringing out a bottle of something from a nearby suitcase. "If I may be so bold, can you please drink this with me? Sometime after I arrived in Hell, I made a vow to my parents that I would share a drink with any that would hire me. So that they understand how grateful I am for them giving me a chance. A lowly sinner with strange powers that makes her unique amongst them." Mordekaiser, if he could, would have raised an eyebrow at the request. Looking at the bottle, he could see it was a rather cheap bottle of wine. One that anyone can acquire from a marketplace. Thinking it through, Mordekaiser eventually nodded to her request. That caused Sona to smile brightly. While she was bringing out some glasses and pouring the wine to them, Mordekaiser was looking at her intently, gauzing her for something. Soon the glasses were poured, and Sona offered on to Mordekaiser. Taking the glass and eyeing its greenish contents, Mordekaiser soon drank up, the liquid pouring down the open area where his mouth is down to his body. After drinking it, Mordekaiser looked at Sona and asked what the brand was.
"It's a special brand that an acquaintance of mine made when I told them of what I wanted to do should I ever get hired." Said Sona after she drank her wine. "They said that it'll be quite enlightening to whoever drinks it." Mordekaiser hummed at that before he demanded to know what she meant by that. Upon hearing that question, Sona began to smile sadly before looking at Mordekaiser with sorrowful eyes. "That's what they said when they wished to have you declare war on Lucifer and plunge Hell into anarchy." Before Mordekaiser can process that, he suddenly yelled out in pain as he went to his knees.
"What do you do to me?!" Demanded Mordekaiser as he went to his knees at looked at Sona, whose eyes were sorrowful.
"I'm sorry, Mordekaiser." Said Sona as she went to grab something from the same suitcase that she got the bottle from and pulled out a dagger, whose blade glowed ominously. "But I had to do this. My family was in danger, and I needed to do this lest they suffer. So please. Forgive me."
"Do you have any idea what will happen if you kill me?" Asked Mordekaiser as Sona made her way to him. "The infighting and power play that will happen amongst my lieutenants and subordinates!?"
"If it's any consolation, there won't be any fighting once you're gone nor would you be killed again." Said Sona as she kneeled before Mordekaiser, sorrow still plastered all over her face. "They'll be commanded by that acquaintance I've told you about. He'll take over your people with your body and spirit under his thrall. And with you under his command, he'll have your people go to war with Lucifer and the other leaders of Hell."
"What!?" Yelled Mordekaiser as he processed this. Sona was about to tell him more but decided against it in fear of people coming here and seeing what was going in. Thus, she muttered a quick apology to Mordekaiser before aiming the dagger at his neck. Just before it could land on his neck, Mordekaiser's right hand grabbed the wrist of the hand that held the dagger, shocking Sona. Before she could do anything, he broke her wrist, making her scream in pain before he backhanded her away with his left arm, sending her flying into a wall, creating a massive indent as a result.
Coughing out black blood, Sona looked at Mordekaiser in fear as the Iron Revenant got up and glared down at her. Before she could even speak, a green orb came out of Mordekaiser's armor before breaking and spilling out the wine that he drank. As Sona starred at the spilled drink that Mordekaiser drank, the Iron Revenant spoke.
"Did you honestly think that I would drink something from someone I just met?" Asked Mordekaiser as he glared down at the sinner. "I may be ambitious, but I'm no fool. The number of times that I've had people spike drinks offered to be are beyond count. And this was one of the most obvious ones to date." Shaking in fear as she held her broken wrist, Sona whimpered as Mordekaiser summoned forth his mace as well as turned back to his normal size.
"Now, Sona." Said Mordekaiser as he pointed his mace at Sona, his voice unamused with her little plot against him. "You will tell me more about this acquaintance of yours." Before he could interrogate her, he suddenly heard some screaming downstairs followed by more screaming. Curious, he tried to get a sense of what was happening in the hotel, only to be shocked when he saw what was happening. His elite Iron Guard soldiers were attacking the hotel staff and patrons.
Looking upon Sona, Mordekaiser narrowed his eyes, making her gulp. Before she could say anything, Mordekaiser freed one of his hands, gathering up green energy in it. Sona then screamed as Mordekaiser unleashed it upon her.
