Aidzuki's pov
I wake up the next day in a blissful state a refreshing start to my day opposed to the painful buzzing. I stretch as best as I could with my still weak muscles then i open my eyes and...woah.
I'm suddenly aware of even the tiniest details in the room. Was...was my eye sight back! No way.
I sniffed the air. My nose wasn't any better and neither was my hearing. But I'll take all the improvements i can get. I try and sit up on the bed and succeed while still struggling. I lean against the wall and look around the room some more amazed to have my sight back.
If my sights back does that mean my body is no longer shutting down? I still feel aching in my body but not as intense as it was. Was this because of me spending time with jacob? That would make sense seeing as I was only really sick because my mate was rejecting me. So he really was being sincere yesterday. I look towards the only window and can tell that it's still early morning usually I'd wake up at noon and still be tired.
Even though my body made small improvement I doubt I could walk on my own right now but with help I think I could atleast stand if only for a minute or two.
I nod to myself after taking stock of my body. I was unsure when jacob would come to check on me so I looked around for something to do while I waited. I hope he comes soon because bella should be here in a couple of hours to get me and I'd like to spend some time with my reacquainted friend.
After looking around I spot a couple of books on the nightstand beside the bed and my attention is caught by an old brown book that looked like it were home made I picked it up the cover had an inscription that was in a different language and so weren't the contents inside the only thing I really understood was the pictures.
"Intresting." I whisper to myself.
There were pictures of men turning into wolves, wolves hunting, wolves fighting eachother and creatures that I could only think were vampires. There were pages full of designs and symbols and more pictures of just people doing what must've been everyday things women washing clothes in a river with babies strapped to their backs and cooking food, pictures of said food with descriptions, people dancing, men and women sewing clothes from fur, and...well.
I blushed, why would they Include something like that?! I thought as i looked at the picture again. All the pictures were hand drawn but whoever drew them did it so simply while still capturing every detail. The picture is of a man and his wife in a very...intimate position. Like why did the creator of this book find this necessary. Were they a pervert or something? Was it of them? And if so who was it?
"Intresting book huh?" I jump and slam the book shut as i look up wide-eyed at jacob. I blushed hard at being caught.
"J-just finding a way to pass the time t-thats all. This book caught my attention." I say holding the book out to him.
He walks in and takes the book sitting at the edge of the bed. "Oh, this is a book passed down through the black family. In fact I think my dad's the one who gave it to the twins but then both Rachel and Rebecca left it behind when they moved out. It's a book full of things that went on back then, alot of the stories pop tells is from this book. It says the Tales Of The Quailute. And it's written in our native tongue." He explained.
I nod now much more interested in the book. "So you could understand it?" I ask and Jacob nods.
"C-can you read it to me? If you want." Jacob looks surprised and nods "yeah I can read it to you sometime but right now we're gonna eat breakfast because we didn't get to eat last night like i said we would." Jacob smiles and puts the book down.
I hum and throw the covers off me and hold my arms out to jacob who chuckles and picks me up. On our way out the door jacob clears his throat "sooo...I was out patrolling last night with the pack and well they kinda wanna meet you. Even though I told them they already have but they insisted." He said and mumbled about annoying packs.
"Soooo?" I said.
"So they will be coming over soon." He said and i tensed. They as in all of them. Meaning sam.
"And yes sam to. Sam's not really as bad as he seems, he's just trying to be a good leader and acts very tough. But he feels bad for making me stay away from you." Jacob says. "That's why he thought it'd be a good idea for you to meet the whole pack cause their first impression wasn't the best so basically they wanna start over with you." He then looked at me with a look that meant to ask my approval.
I looked away as i thought about it. Not only had sam helped in nearly killing me but jakes whole pack had shunned him and so didn't the rest of the reservation including his dad. Even though I'm sure his pack were more likely unsure how to handle it more then they were disgusted. So they waited for Jake to get over it himself and emotionally isolated him. And i saw it when the tan skin boy would come around in the way his eyes were dull and the bags from lack of sleep and maybe even tears. But if they were willing to make an amends who was i to stop them.
"Ok, I'd like to meet them to." I said finally. Even if I've already met most of them it was that female wolf he never really got the chance to officially meet. The one that reminded him of rosalie. She was always storming away.
"Really, you'd give them a chance?" He sounded surprised. I nod with a slightly offended look.
"Yeah, like I gave you one. Plus if we're mates I have to be on good terms with them right?" I said. He nodded and smiled down at me.
We finally make it to the kitchen and Jacob set me down in a chair then went to start preparing breakfast.
"When will they be here?" I asked. Jacob shrugs "Well they should be here any minute they all went home to shower and change." I nod with an ok.
I sit and watch jacob move about the kitchen collecting various items from various places and bringing them to the stove.
"Going all out I see." I said to which jacob laughs.
He turns to me with a look "Do you seriously think I'm gonna have a house full of wolves with no food to eat. They'd eat everything they could get their hands on!" He then went back to cooking.
I laugh and settle for watching jacob cook the food. We fall comfortably in silence after Jacob's concentration takes over. A few minuts later the silence was interupted by Jacob humming a tune most likely one his mother sung to him once upon a time.
Just as jacob was plating the rest of the bacon a knock sounded at the door. "And that must be them." Jacob sighed. "Leave them to come right after I've finished cooking"
I snicker and Jacob pouts at me as he walks out the kitchen to open the door. I hear as there are loud introductions and what I guess is rough housing when I hear "ah! Let me go paul!" From jacob.
"Soo where is the Mrs jake? We've been excited to meet him." I heard a female voice say.
"Aidzuki is in the kitchen...just don't mention his appearance ok?" Jacob said and i was both thankful and offended at the same time.
"His appearance... we've seen him before you know. We've just never actually met him." A familiar male voice said. Said voices where getting closer.
"He's been sick lately and well... it shows." Jacob said I could tell he was trying not to sound rude about it but there isn't a way to nicely say someone looks like shit.
Finally they all emerge in the kitchen and i find myself looking down unable to meet their eyes as it quiets down once they sight me. I must look like a Halloween decoration.
I heard the sound of footsteps coming my way and new they were a little light to be Jacob's so I know it wasn't him. The chair beside me slide out and was then occupied. I dare look up and see a girl sitting there, her hand outstretched towards me. I stare dumbly for a second then raise my hand and put it in hers.
"Hello aidzuki, i'm leah clearwater. Nice to meet you." She said with a kind smile. She then turns to the rest of the pack "is that so hard."
They seemed to snap out of it and fill in around the table leaving and empty seat beside me for jacob. They then went around introducing themselves. I didn't bother, it was already hard being around them.
I laugh nervously "hi" is all I manage and it sounds so dumb I blush red.
"Welp! There's food so after I make aidzuki's plate go ahead and dig in." Jacob said. I sigh thankful for the save.
"FOOD" Jared and embry yelled. They plus paul went to go maul the food as jacob dodged walking to the table with two plates in hand he set one infront of me and sat down with the other barely seated before he was digging in. Pack of wolves more like a pack of greety asses.
Jacob chokes on his food suddenly and i, surprised, pat his back. I raise a brow as he hacks turns into laughter. "Well that wasn't very nice." Embry says looking at me and I give him an confused look.
"Uh kai, you said that out loud." Jacob explained after calming down. My eyes widen and i bury my face in my hands as warmth spread in my face. So much for an amends.
"I'm so so sorry. Bad habit of mine." I say completely embarrassed.
"Well, it is true." Sam chuckles. I was surprised and threw him an awkward smile. Which he returns not nearly as awkward as mine. I was avoiding interacting with the alpha for multiple reasons but knowing he was probably doing what he thoughts was best for his pack-mate made giving him a chance easier. But i couldn't say I trusted this just yet.
"So what do you guys think about hanging out at the beach after breakfast." Leah asks her attention on me.
"Mmm sounds nice. I went outside for the first time yesterday thanks to jacob and it was nice. And I've been feeling bett-" I was interupted by a very happy jacob.
"Really?! You've been feeling better? Do you know why maybe you could tell the doc." He said quickly. I smile at him.
"It's because of you jacob..." I say warmly.
"...me." He says sobered up a finger pointing at himself.
"Did you forget jacob I'm not human either and this mate thing goes both ways. Knowing that you are there was enough for my body to stop giving up on me. Remember what we talked about?" I asked referring to when I told him he's the reason I was sick in the first place.
With a guilty look he nodded. "Well then it'd make sense you're the only thing that could make me better." I said and Jacob perked up.
"Are we missing something here?" Sam asked.
"Nothing really." I lied. I was giving sam a chance that doesn't mean I suddenly forgive the guy.
We continued to talk and eat breakfast until we all finished and Jacob went to get dressed and then help me change. I felt weird being carried away in just boxers and a t-shirt. Anyways after we finished we all set out to la push beach.

I giggled as the waves covers my feet in cold water then retreat I inhale the salty air and relax back against jacob. Just where I like to be. I felt so content and that's not something I thought I could say while being around the wolf pack. But i could get used to this.
I watch the others play around doing things that might have injured any human. Honestly these guys were brutal. The only one not participating was sam who was beside jacob and i with emily in his lap. Some of the imprints showed up and were now sitting with us.
"So aidzuki" Emily says.
I look at her with a inquisitive face "yeah?"
"I heard the pack went to hang at jakes place to get a feel for you." She says that kind expression she always has in place.
"Get a feel for me?" I ask confused i look up at jacob and he shrugs.
"Jacob didn't tell you? When there's a new imprint they hang around them to get their scent, energy, embroid their features in their brains. Sam told me that it was in case of emergencies when that imprint might be in danger. That and a way of accepting you into the pack in a way." I look at sam for confirmation and when he nods I look at jacob who also nods. I was shocked, they accepted me that fast.
I pout at jacob "Why didn't you just tell me that? And to think I was special." I laugh and Jacob joins in along with emily.
"I technically told you the truth though. But i knew you'd be freaked out that a bunch of people where smelling you." Jacob said in my ear I shivered. I really need to get that under control. His breath so close to me reminded me of last night when he lost himself in scenting me. Which pleased and terrified me all at once.
The others stopped their playing and came over to join us sitting with their imprints. "It's nice to relax once In a while ya know." Embry sighed reclining back against the sand.
Leah hums in agreement.
"Well now that you've got all the energy out your systems, though I doubt that, we can finally do what we took the day off to do. Get to know Jacob's imprint." Sam said to which the pack nodded. They all then looked at me expectantly.
I tried to make myself small so maybe I'd disappear but that didn't happen instead I look at jacob for the hundredth time today. "Tell them about you kai."
I look out at the ocean trying to think about what to share first, I honestly didnt think there was much to me to share in the first place. "Uuuuh, well I used to live here on the beach with my friend hoshi."
"You lived on the beach! For how long?" Leah said.
"For most of my time here, actually I moved in with jake a year or so ago and then i moved in with bella. Jacob was the first person I met here, the first few people I saw were older and therefore bigger so I was scared and hid in my cave. One night hoshi ran away and I couldn't sleep without her so I went to look for her. That was the night I met jake. I don't know what he was up to but he snuck out his window. I was still scared but he was the first person my size I seen so it wasn't hard to find courage to approach him."
"First off, I didn't sneak out, I saw a naked little boy snooping around my property and thought to give him a piece of my mind." Jacob snickered. I shrugged "still sneaking."
"He gave me clothes and food that night. Anytime I visited jacob at night I'd always have a place to sleep. I was a little guilty cause I found I liked being around jacob more then my best friend whose been there since I was born. But it's like she understood. Plus she isn't one to really care much about relationships of any kind." I said feeling far away.
"She's the last bit of home I will ever have. Everything was so hectic when i left that I couldn't even pick up a toy to take with me. I remember the sound of explosions and screaming. And so so so much death."I was startled by jacob giving me arm a comforting squeeze.
I shook my head "anyways, I often taught jake Japanese and in turn he'd show me harry Potter movies. We didn't really have movies where I'm from but I'd watch the stars with the other kids. The stars moved in random patterns atleast once a month at home. It was like a light show." I smiled.
I went to continue but we were all distracted by a familiar red truck pulling up. I blink as bella jumps out and stomps our way with a pout. "You guys could have atleast told me you were here, are you ready aidzuki. Everything's all set up." Bella said she looked a little pal and a bit shaken but the smile on her face told me it was good news.
I nod and Jacob gets up to help me. I didn't come here with anything so there's no need to go back to the house. To my surprise the whole pack stands and comes to bide me goodbye. I could see bella was surprised to as i was smothered with hugs and a few kisses. "We hope to know more about you aidzuki. See you soon!" Leah said to me while she squeezed me half to death. I nod bashfully at them.
Jake help me into the truck and closes the door. "I'm glad we talked. I hope that I could visit you or something can be worked out. I promise I'll work hard for your forgiveness." He said staring at me with bright brown eyes.
"I know. And i can't wait to see you tomorrow." I'm still here with him but I miss him already.
We both said bye with a hug and he walked over to bella's side and hugged her saying how she should hang out with us sometime and she nodded as jacob backed up. With one last glance at the pack and Jacob we drive off.

So I know its been a looong time but I'm here and so is this chapter. It took awhile to get past. Now this chapter was a little hard but i want to build up aidzuki's relationship with the pack so I refused to put it aside and continue. And i know it's trash but now that this block isn't here now I can start a new chapter. Don't forget I'll be rewriting this story Thanks to all those who R&R'S and favorites and follows and comments they all help me and encourage me to keep going. ? ﾟﾘﾗ? ﾟﾘﾗ
