As the girls spoke to each other, Draco shifted positions. After an hour or two of their talking, Mero, Miia, and Draco were now in a circle, lying on their stomachs to see one another. For the most part, the conversation had been light and fun, Draco wanting to know everything she could about Miia. Favorite food, favorite places in Japan, what her home and family were like. In turn, Miia asked the same of Draco, now equally hungry for more knowledge. Mero listened in, fascinated by their tales and answers, occasionally chirping in with anecdotes of her own.
"I didn't really know most of my family," Draco said with a sigh, "I only knew my dad. And, well, Dragon-Newt males aren't known for their parenting abilities. He did his best though. I wouldn't be as strong or proud as I am without him." Draco beamed to herself a bit as she recalled. "Once I was old enough, I left the nest and kinda just...wandered. Then I..." Draco's eyes went dark for a moment as she hesitated. "I eventually found out about the exchange program, and thought it would be fun. That's when...I first saw you, Miia. Upon arriving in Japan, at the exchange headquarters. I saw you..." Draco's eyes now went soft and dreamy, her expression a wistful smile, and her tone nostalgic. "You looked like an angel. I had never seen anyone like you; I'd never even seen another reptile liminal outside of my village. And...the way you spoke, the confidence you carried yourself with, the way you moved...," laughing, Draco said with a shake of her head, "I guess you could say I was hypnotized."
Miia and Mero exchanged a subtle look, trying to hold in their giggles. Looking back to Draco, Miia's thoughts sobered. Seeing Draco now, once more with that sparkle in her eye, Miia was wrought with conflict. Draco made it abundantly clear that Miia had won her heart, but Miia's heart already belonged to someone else. On the other hand, Miia thought, a second person had slithered their way in, earning her love. But was there any possibility of there being room for a third? Draco was sweet, and could be wonderful company in the right atmosphere, and yet... Whatever love Draco held for Miia, whatever glimmer was in her eyes when she looked at the lamia, that emotion, that spark, that...magic, couldn't be found in Miia. Now looking back, Miia bit her lip, deciding that it had probably been a bad idea to tease Draco so much earlier. Certainly, Miia had done her fair share of debauchery with all the girls in the house, and she felt no qualms about that. But with Draco, it was different. Miia hadn't fully understood the depth of Draco's feelings, as she did now.
Draco was incredibly proud of herself for not swooning yet. With every question she had asked Miia, it seemed she gave the right answer. They had so much in common! They both loved the onsen (or any bath for that matter), they both loved the blossoming sakura trees, both their favorite foods were egg dishes, they both hated broccoli, they both liked comedy movies and read the same fairy tales growing up; they even had common ground on the fact of both of them having one parent absent in their lives. Draco fought to keep a massive grin off her face while listening to Miia speak. They were so similar, so alike on every important level, and so perfect for one another! If only Miia saw it that way...
But Miia had kissed Draco. She had done a lot more than kissing...and, if Miia was dating someone as well as her boyfriend, a girl at that, was there hope for Draco? There was finally a beacon that Miia gave her to follow.
Mero could read every subtle change and expression on both Miia and Draco's faces; she could tell what they were both going through, but she had no means of helping either of them at the moment. Turning to the clock, Mero gasped, a bit exaggerated, and said, "Oh dear, it's gotten rather late. I think we should turn in now, don't you, Miia?" She have a stern look to Miia, suggesting that she wasn't asking.
With a gulp, Miia nodded, "Yeah, I am pretty tired." Slipping off her skirt and gathering more blankets, Miia began to settle into a better position for sleeping.
Draco looked around with confusion before saying with trepidation, "Um, where am I going to sleep then?"
Miia laughed as she slip her tail around Draco's waist. "You're sleeping with us, of course. My room is kept the warmest, and I promise you, you'll never sleep better than when you're in my coils."
Mero nodded, gazing at Miia's scarlet scales longingly, "I can attest to that truth."
Blushing, Draco nodded, letting her shoulders relax.
Miia laid herself back, then pulled Mero up next to her, snuggling into her tenderly. Once Mero was comfortable, Miia grabbed Draco as well, pulling her up in between herself and Mero, snuggling Draco's head in between their tits. Draco blushed, putting a hand over her face, but had no desire to leave. Miia giggled, petting Draco's head as she wrapped her coils around both Draco and Mero, covering them all with her numerous blankets. "Goodnight girls," Miia said with a smirk as she started her spirals, looking first into Draco's eyes, putting her quickly under a strong trance. Miia shook her head with a laugh, then looked to Mero, putting her into a restful slumber as she sealed the mermaids lips in a loving kiss.
The next morning, Smith arrived to pick up Draco and Lilith shortly after the girls had all awoke. Draco was rather sad to be leaving after just one night, holding onto Miia's arms in a drawn out and tender hug. She was finally friends with Miia, and was making progress with her! It felt to Draco that if only she had another day with her, Miia would soon be hers.
Pulling her head back as she gently stroked Draco's wings, Miia smiled, "come on now Draco, we can still hang out. I'll tell ya what, I'm gonna beworking a lot now that it's the busy season again for the shrine, so how about you come by sometime? You can bring me lunch." Miia winked and giggled.
Draco shivered at Miia's cuteness and beauty. "Th-that sounds wonderful! I'll do that whenever I can!" Draco tried to stop herself from sounding too eager, but just gave up.
The guests departed, and soon the house settled back into its normal ruckus. That was of course, the new normal of lesbian sex going on every other minute.
In a moment of peace later that day, while Miia was snuggling Mero on the couch, she had a thought. As yet another plan unraveled in her head, her wicked grin spread across her ruby lips, making Mero raise a brow. "Mistress? What have you thought now?"
Miia giggled and made an evil expression. "I've got the perfect plan to deal with Draco!"
Mero fixed Miia with a bemused smile and said, "which is...?"
"I can never love her like she deserves," Miia said with a sobered smile, "but I know someone who could. Just like you set up Cerea with Tanner, I can play matchmaker Miia for Draco too!" That night, Miia wrote a letter to a very old friend.
Soon, weeks went by. As Miia spent much of her free time at the shrine, and any other time she could taking Darling and Mero on dates, weeks quickly turned into months. Time flew, and with it, the love between Miia, Mero, and Darling did as well. As for Draco, she held her promise, bringing Miia a lunch to the shrine at least once a week and having a long chat with her. Draco was more than thrilled to be spending so much time with Miia, pleasantly speaking to and just being around her. Despite this, Draco still felt unfulfilled. She was friends with Miia, but...friendship wasn't enough for Draco. Her entire heart belonged to Miia, which was only made clearer as they spent more time together, but there was something else made clear: Miia's heart belonged to others. Elsewhere in the Kurusu house, Cerea went on many more dates with Tanner as well, the two of them becoming near inseparable at every opportunity they had to be with one another. Throughout the house, the energy was high and positive, and everyone was growing more friendly.
On one of the first nights Miia had free in a couple weeks, she had decided to take Mero out to dinner, enjoying the perks of having her own money. By Cerea's recommendation, they had gone to the same restaurant Tanner had taken her on their first date.
Miia sat across from Mero, once more wearing her open belly gown, and staring at the mermaid, her eyes alight with a few subtle rings of hypnosis. Miia often lost control when she was content or relaxed, her eyes lighting up somewhat as she stared off.
Mero took notice of Miia as she took a dainty sip of wine. Giggling and shielding her eyes from the magic, she said, "Miia, dear, Um...you're doing it again."
Miia blinked then jolted herself a bit, shaking the spirals out of her eyes. "Oh, sorry Mero! I just always drift off when I'm looking at you..." Miia now blushed, a sight that had become somewhat rare for Mero, which she enjoyed oh so much.
Mero put her hand out and on top of Miia's, gently rubbing it with her thumb. "No apologies needed, my Mistress. But might I ask what has you in such a chipper mood?"
Miia shrugged, reciprocating by by gently grasping Mero's hand and said, "I'm just glad to finally have some time with you again. This is our first real fancy date, just the two of us. I've been so busy lately, this quiet moment is just so nice. And, of course, and chance to see you dressed so gorgeously is amazing."
Mero blushed and looked down at her ensemble; it was a Victorian-esque dress that seemed almost more suited for a ball than dinner. It was a deep amethyst, with accents of cotton candy pink. The shoulders hung low on Mero's arms, thick and frilly, and the strapless bodice showed off Mero's neck and delightful bust. A laced corset sat just above a pink ribbon tied around Mero's waist, hanging down over her wide and frilled skirt. Mero's hair was curled as usual, but sat wider and more voluminous, spreading out behind her back elegantly, topped with an adorable small brimmed sun hat. "My goodness Mistress," Mero said with a wave of her hand, "you certainly are a flatterer. But, at least you're good at it." Mero brushed her tail against Miia's under the table. "Ya know," she said, her tone sobering, "we're going to have to tell our Dearest about us soon. I'm not sure how much longer he'll be oblivious."
"I know," Miia sighed, "I've just been so busy with work, then my mind has been occupied with Draco and my friend, then I've been helping Cerea with her dates-" Miia stopped herself as she noticed Mero smirking. Becoming indignant, Miia pouted and said, "I am not avoiding the subject with him, if that's what your smirk implies!"
Mero giggled, then shook her head. "I didn't say that. But, you have to be honest with yourself. You're nervous about telling him. If I'm being honest with you, I've been putting off talking to our Dearest as well about my feelings. We both need to gather our courage and have faith in his love for us, I suppose."
Miia nodded, smiling at Mero's ever growing wisdom.
After ordering and eating, the pair departed, Miia happily pushing Mero's chair down the quiet night street. As Miia made a turn down a road adjacent the restaurant, Mero chirped up with confusion, "Mistress? This isn't the way home."
Giggling, Miia said, "our evening isn't over yet, my Little Mermaid."
With thoughts of curiosity and skepticism, Mero faced ahead as she was rolled along. For Mero, being seen by people was never really that bad. She could understand the plight of Miia and Rachnee, and how some people would see them as scary, but in all her time around humans, Mero had only been treated with kindness and reverence. She supposed the media depiction of mermaids and her cotton candy pink hair helped with that. Rolling down the street had always been fun for her. For all its disadvantages, having to ride in a wheelchair gave Mero one particularly heartwarming perk: she was at perfect eye level with children. Oh, how their eyes lit up when they saw her, like there was a fairy tale unfolding before there eyes, like dreams had come true! Whenever she saw the alight, happy eyes and joyous smile of kids, she made certain to return the kindest, most beautiful smile she could and wave to them. Such simple pleasures always made Mero feel afloat with joy, even now. As Mero noticed and waved to a pair of passing girls with their mother, she glanced down to see they were both wearing ballet slippers. How cute! Yet, to be wearing them in the street was odd, they weren't near a-
"Here we are!" Miia said as she stopped the wheelchair.
Being pulled from her reverie, Mero looked up at a brightly blue lit building with a sign that read, "The Sea Shanty? Miia, where are we?" Mero inquired, now thoroughly confused.
Miia giggled and put her hands on Mero's shoulders, "Its a bar and dance club! Since we both love fairy tales so much, and you dressed for the occasion, I thought we should attend a ball." Miia smirked at her own genius.
Mero gasped, then was quickly crestfallen. "Oh, but...Miia, I can't exactly...Ya know."
"Don't worry about that." Miia said, quickly brushing off Mero's concern. The pair entered the large doors, after being checked by the pair of minotour bouncers. Inside, deep blue and purple lights slowly spun around the room, lighting up the entire building from the high ceiling. Lanterns, lights, and some sea related decor hung from the metal rafters. The music filling the room was classy and melodic, almost out of place in so modern a club. As Mero looked down from the eye catching decorations, she now noticed the dance floors. Directly in front of her and Miia was the normal floor, seemingly made of an intricately painted marble. Looking past the sea of people and criminals of all types and sizes, Mero noticed something odd: what appeared to be a large glass swimming pool. As Miia pushed them forward, around the edge of the larger floor, Mero now noticed there were smaller dance floors and stages ringed around behind the pool, with ramps and stairs curling around to them. Once they were close enough, Mero could see Mermaids in the pool, but rather than swimming, they appeared to be standing. After a moment of confusion and intense staring, Mero realized that the pool allowed mermaids and other liminals without legs to dance, in a sense, at the same height as the regular dance floor. Gasping, Mero turned around to Miia, who held herself up with a proud smirk, one Mero hadn't seen on Miia in a while. Pulling up next to the steps, Miia locked the wheels of Mero's chair and swiftly scooped the mermaid into her arms. Mero looked up at Miia with adoration and glee as she cooed, "Oh Miia, this is wonderful! How did you ever find out about this place?"
Miia slowly slid into the warm, neon lit water, letting Mero down as they both began to float. "I asked Miss Smith about liminal friendly establishments to take you to, and this was on the list. I chose tonight for our date because they're having a special ball event, not their usual open club techno theme. I thought you'd appreciate the atmosphere."
Mero now looked around, and saw most of the guests were dressed similarly to her, in some form of antiquated formal attire, and dancing in slow, regal fashion.
As a slow, soft, harp tuned song came on, Miia held out her hand to Mero, with a smile burning with love, and said, "May I have this dance, malady?"
Mero returned the smile with a bemused sigh as she took Miia's hand. "Of course, my Mistress."
Miia held Mero close with an arm and a coil around her waist as they began to dance/float in a circle to the music. Miia was happy now that Mero had her slimy skin; all her clothes were made like swimsuits. Who knows what rather Rachnee would have if they put normal dresses of hers in water.
Hours passed as the pair danced the night away, nothing but love and magic between them. As the dance floors slowly drained of dancers, the tempo slowed. Soon, the couple was some of the last, Mero lying her head on Miia's chest, their hands linked on Miia's shoulder as she held the mermaid up, gently swaying her hips, almost hoping Mero would fall asleep in her arms.
"Come on, my Little Mermaid." Miia whispered as she placed a kiss on Mero's head. "Time to go home."
Using complementary towels, the pair dried off, and Miia rolled Mero out the doors. Mero found herself fighting to keep her eyes open as she watched the calm, evening streets roll by her. She was so tired and happy, a trip into contented slumber sounded so alluring. Of course, Mero couldn't sleep yet; she didn't have her Mistress wrapped around her, holding and snuggling her with tender care. Taking a deep breath, Mero opened her eyes wide, sitting up straight.
Miia giggled, "Mero, you can take a nap. I don't mind. You look exhausted."
Mero shook her head, looking over her shoulder to Miia, "I'm fine Mistress. I don't want to sleep yet. I want to kiss you goodnight before I fall asleep, covered neck to fins in your gorgeous, strong, comfy coils. If I fall asleep now, I won't be able to look into your eyes again until tomorrow. And I think that's just far too long to wait."
Miia was unsure if she wanted to laugh or kiss Mero, so she opted for both, giggling as she leaned down to embrace Mero's lips.
The pair arrived home, took a quick rinse in the bathroom, then slid into bed with one another, wrapping their nude bodies tightly together. Sighing as she looked deep into Mero's eyes, Miia said, "There. Looking into my eyes."
Mero giggled, kissing Miia's nose. "As beautiful as ever..." Mero sighed, nuzzling into Miia further, "can you...hypnotize me, Mistress?"
Miia scoffed with a smile. "Really? I never expected you to love my hypnosis so much. I only used it to seduce you."
"I know," Mero blushed, "but it just...feels so good. I've never slept better."
Miia nodded and started her hypnosis, "I know, my love. Ssssssleeep for me."
A quiet moan escaped Mero's lips as she quickly succumbed to the spell, falling into slumber, soon followed by her smiling Mistress.
The next morning was uneventful as Miia begrudgingly hauled herself off to work again. It wasn't that the job was bad - on the contrary, having all the visitors gawk over her in such a positive way was refreshing, no matter how often if happened. Not to mention all the hot guys and girls, or even the occasional adorably enthusiastic child that took pictures with her. But, nevertheless, waking up without time for a proper bath or her morning snuggles was hell.
As lunch rolled around for Miia, she sat on a bench with a sigh. Just as she felt her eyes slipping shut, nearly falling asleep, she heard a voice call out, "Hey, Miia!"
Jolting up and looking around, Miia saw Draco trotting toward her. With a smile, Miia waged her over, making room for her on the bench. Draco sat down, setting a picnic basket at her feet, then pulled Miia into a tight hug. This was usual for Draco, but Miia could never truly adapt to Draco's spine crushing strength; the girl hugged as if it were her last. Miia rolled her eyes at the irony of her being constricted, then returned the hug. "What did you bring me today, dear?" Miia said with a teasingly seductive tone, looking to the basket.
Draco blushed, now slipping off of Miia as she looked down, picking up the basket in shame. Opening it, hiding behind the lid, she said with a tone of regret and remorse, "Just bento boxes...again..."
Miia smiled and placed her hand atop Draco's head, petting her affectionately as she took her box. "Don't look so glum, Draco. I love the lunches you make! Can I tell you a secret?" Miia leaned in and whispered conspiratorially.
Draco looked around, then nodded.
"Your deviled eggs are the best. Even better than Darling's." Miia winked as she sat straight again, opening her lunch. "Besides, we've both got the same kind of taste buds, so our stomachs think alike!" Miia popped an egg into her mouth, followed by a cherry tomato, humming in appreciation.
Draco was stuck for a moment; Miia hadn't just complimented her, she said she did something BETTER than her boyfriend! Draco grinned ear to ear, whole face burning as she too dug into her lunch box. However, Draco's joy was short-lived.
"Hey, Miia! Sorry I'm late!" Darling panted as he jogged over to Miia and Draco, a basket in his arms as well. "I had to make lunches for all the other girls too. Hi Draco, good to see you!" He smiled, kind and bright as always.
Draco grumbled a hello, but a hiss from Miia prompted her to perk up and say, "Hey, Kimihito. Nice...to see you too."
Darling smiled as he sat down next to Miia, opening his basket and handing a rice bun and sweet cream roll to both Miia and Draco. It seemed Miia had coordinated today, as Darling brought only the dessert part of lunch...
"Sorry," Draco said sheepishly, "had I known you'd be here, I ...would have made a bento for you too."
Darling shrugged it off, smiling still. "Oh don't worry about it, I'm not that hungry."
Draco nodded, blushing as she decided to simply occupy herself with her food.
As the trio ate, Darling spoke up, "So Miia, how's your day going?"
"Not too bad," Miia mumbled, her mouth full of egg, "everyone has been super nice today. There was even a couple guys who asked me out to dinner," Miia giggled, nudging Darling's arm.
Draco felt a twinge of anger at that. Some random humans, asking out Miia!? Draco hadn't seen any human in her life that could ever hope to be in Miia's league. As she looked to Darling, Draco realised he seemed to be of the same thought.
Shaking off his anger, Darling reached into his basket and said, "That reminds me. A letter came for you today. I hope you don't mind that Mero opened it already. It said this weekend would work for dinner."
Miia took the letter with a gasp, grinning widely. "Perfect!"
Draco raised a brow in confusion, but decided not to ask.
"Hey, Draco, are you free on Friday?" Miia asked, snapping Draco out of her reverie.
"Oh, um...I guess so.." Draco said, now thoroughly confused.
"Great!" Miia clapped, "Come in something nice, and make sure you're hungry! I'm having an old friend over and I'm dying for you two to meet."
An old friend? Miia wanted to introduce Draco to someone from her childhood!? Draco fought the blush on her cheeks as she said, "O-okay, you got it! I'll be there."
Miia hugged Draco with one arm, nuzzling their cheeks together. "Awesome."
Draco felt like she could die happy, snuggled into Miia's side, cheeks pressed together as she smiled brightly.
That night, Miia trudged home after a long day. Her coils felt like they were going to melt. After entering the house and saying hello to everyone she passed, Miia made her way to the bathroom. Upon entering, she saw a hot bath had already been prepared for her. Smiling, Miia told herself to give Darling a special thanks later.
As soon as Miia got into the tub, the was a knock on the door, followed by an angel's voice saying, "Mistress, may I join you?"
Miia smiled even wider. "Don't bother asking, Mero, just get in here already."
Mero swiftly joined Miia in the tub, snuggling up to her Mistress's bust. "So, how was your day, Mistress?"
Miia sighed. "Not bad...but my coils are killing me...thank god I've got a few days off...I feel like a puddle..."
Mero giggled, gently running her hands along Miia's length, feeling her tension. "Well, I can offer you a massage while we bathe. My slick, slimy hands and fins, roaming up and down your sore, aching body...doesn't that sound nice?"
Miia couldn't contain a moan as she responded, "Yeah, it does...please massage me, my Little Mermaid." She cooed, leaning forward and kissing Mero.
Mero returned the kiss in full, her arms wrapping around her Mistress. As soon as the kiss broke, Mero set to work. Slowly and sensually, Mero slid her hands down Miia's hips and onto her muscular coils, gently kneading out the sore flesh.
Miia leaned back and moaned. "Oh Mero...that feels amazing...when did you get so good at giving massages?"
Mero blushed as she continued down Miia's body, responding, "Well, I partly learned from you, but I also received a lesson from my eel mermaid masseuse when we visited my mother. How do you like it?"
Miia groaned as Mero broke the knot in a particularly sore area, "oooh I looooove it Merooo..." Miia moaned, her eyes drooping shut as sleep threatened to take her already.
Mero giggled, easing up so as not to make her Mistress comatose, but continued on.
Miia arched her back, he coils quivering under Mero's slick and soft touch. "I can't wait," Miia said while panting, "to get you...into bed..."
"Oh..about that," Mero said sheepishly, her hands slowing a bit, "Miss Papi has asked me to sleep with her and Suu tonight. After teaching them today, they heard me singing, and Papi wants me to sing her a lullaby. If...that's okay with you, Mistress." Mero bit her lip and looked at Miia, her eyes somewhat pleading.
Miia sighed. If Papi wanted help sleeping, she could have asked Miia! Then again, Miia thought, Papi and Suu had always liked Mero more. As much as Miia wanted to have her way with Mero, she really was tired, and she could never say no to Mero's pout. "Of course you can, Mero," Miia sighed, "you really don't need to ask permission. You may be my pet, but I don't actually control you."
Mero smiled, working into Miia's tail more as she snuggled into Miia's side. "I know that Mistress. But I just like to ask anyway. What will you do without me tonight then?"
Miia closed her eyes and just felt Mero against her. "Probably just sleep. I'm probably too tired to have sex anyway." Miia kissed Mero's head before moaning again as the mermaid relieved another knot.
After finishing in the bath, Miia gave Mero a kiss goodnight and slithered off to her room, her coils nearly numb in euphoria. Slipping under her covers and Coiling herself into a pile around her torso, Miia fell asleep in seconds.
Hours later, Miia was awoken by a rocking feeling, and a voice. Groaning as her eyes pleaded to stay shut, Miia felt a cool, shelled hand on her shoulder. Working her way to reality, Miia looked up, seeing Rachnee standing over her, wreathed in moonlight. "Rachnee...?" Miia mumbled, still not fully awake, "wassup?"
Rachnee bit her lip and swallowed. "I, uh..."
Miia now noticed Rachnee didn't look as she typically did; she seemed shaken, or frightened. Sitting up more, Miia fixed Rachnee with a gaze of concern.
"I had a nightmare..." Rachnee whispered, looking down, away from Miia's eyes.
Immediately, the thought came to Miia's mind, "nightmare? I thought the things going bump in the night usually ran away from you," but she didn't say it. She couldn't even imagine saying so cruel a thing while Rachnee looked so defeated. No, that was the old Miia, the last vestiges of her former, more horrid self. Miia took a deep breath now, and fixing Rachnee with kinder eyes she said, "what was it about?"
Rachnee flinched, her eyes going darker. "I'd...rather not talk about it."
It was about her, Miia realized. She could see it in Rachnee's eyes, and the way she avoided eye contact with Miia; she had had a dream about losing control of herself to Miia. And still, she trusted Miia enough to come to her now. Nodding, Miia opened her arms to Rachnee. "Since you held me when I was scared, it's time I return the favor. Come on." Miia spread her coils out, allowing Rachnee room in the bed.
Hesitantly, Rachnee looked at Miia, locking their eyes. Rachnee flinched when she met Miia's golden gaze, but immediately relaxed. Her shoulders fell and her grimace softened to a tired and innocent pout. Slowly, Rachnee crawled into the bed, lying herself down into Miia's embrace, snuggling into her bosom.
"There there," Miia said as she patted Rachnee's head, pulling her closer. She pulled her coils close around Rachnee, but refrained from wrapping around her. "Is that better?"
Rachnee, hands folded against her chest, snuggled into Miia like a child, nodded. She shivered and shook with every uneasy breath.
Miia was absolutely astounded to see her this vulnerable. The more she interacted with her, the more Rachnee surprised Miia. "I've got you Rachnee," Miia whispered, nuzzling Rachnee's head, "you don't have to be afraid. I'm with you."
Rachnee's breathing now steadied, her shivering ceasing. With a small sniffle, she looked up at Miia and said with a hoarse throat, "thank you, Miia. I..." Rachnee sighed, clearly struggling with her words.
Miia smiled. "I know, Rachnee. You don't need to say anything. Do you wanna go back to sleep?" Miia kept combing her fingers through Rachnee's hair, hoping the sensation soothed her as much as it did Miia.
Rachnee shook her head. "Not yet...if, that's okay...I just wanna talk to someone for a little bit."
Miia nodded. "Of course."
Rachnee now smiled a little, settling back into her pillow of Miia's bust. Closing her four upper eyes, but keeping her two primary open, she reached out one hand away from her chest, placing it near Miia's. Miia noticed and took the prompt, gently putting her other hand on Rachnee's. "So," Rachnee said, her voice much more smooth, with its usual cadence returned, "how has work been? You've been so busy, I haven't had much to watch, except Mero and Honey flirting."
Miia giggled and tried to keep her twinge of jealousy from bubbling over. It just wasn't fair that Mero got to swoon over Darling all day while Miia worked her tail off! Then again, she still did get her own time with them both, and the job was for the sake of Darling. With a sigh, Miia replied, "Work's been fine. My tail has just been so sore from standing all day. Other than taking the occasional picture with a guest though, I don't do much. Just sweep leaves away and keep the shrines clean. It's not very thrilling."
Rachnee hummed in response. "Seems we're both a little bored, then."
Miia nodded slowly, now advancing her coils in towards Rachnee, hugging her closer to her chest.
Rachnee looked up at Miia, then smirked a bit. "Too bad I'm just too tired to entertain you tonight, my sweet viper lily." Rachnee leaned up, then pressed her lips firmly yet gently onto Miia's, kissing her sweetly. Pulling back after a moment that Miia felt was achingly short, Rachnee snickered, lying her head back onto Miia's tits. "Goodnight," Rachnee said before nuzzling her face into Miia's bust, squeezing the boobs around her face, "and thank you."
In no time, Rachnee was once more asleep. Miia continued to gently pet her hair, holding her like a mother holds their child while they sleep. Sighing and shaking her head, Miia thought to herself 'Rachnee is still a handful.' With a kiss upon Rachnee's head, Miia too let herself slip back into slumber.
With the next day, Miia once again had work, but thankfully a much shorter shift. Getting home around lunch time, the first thing Miia did was take a bath, once more joined by her loving pet.
"So, my love," Miia said in a flowery voice, feigning a sense of class as she snuggled Mero, "what shall we do with our afternoon?"
Mero giggled at her Mistress's antics. She was adorable with her accent. "Well, if I am to be honest Mistress," Mero said, inflicting her own voice with a haughty tone, "I do not think WE shall do anything."
Miia now broke her character with a confused look. "Why not? Is...something wrong?"
Mero shook her head, her hands atop Miia's. "Not at all. I just think since your last night off was spent with me, it's our Beloved's turn with you. I know you love me, and I love you, but I don't want you to lose him for my sake. Besides, I feel terrible that I get to spend so much time with him while you're away at work. Please, go with him on a date tonight, for me."
Miia pouted a bit. She didn't like having to ration her time so, but she did miss Darling. And once more, she lacked the strength to deny Mero's pleading eyes. "Fine..." she sighed, "but I can't keep going back and forth like this. We've gotta tell him...soon."
Mero nodded. "We will, Mistress. But not yet. It needs to be a special occasion. Don't let stress and fatigue force you into saying it when you aren't ready."
Miia smiled and pulled Mero closer. "I want us to tell him together. And I think I know just the occasion to do so." After kissing Mero softly, Miia quickly finished her bath and went to get dressed. With a little help from Mero, she picked a white dress with lace ruffle details, a jean jacket over top, and a blue barett with similar lace trim, a perfectly cute yet casual outfit for a summer afternoon date.
"Oh, you look stunning, Mistress!" Mero said, clasping her hands together.
Miia smirked but blushed a bit. "Why thank you, Mero. I hope Darling likes it..."
Giving Mero once last kiss, Miia made her way down to the kitchen to find Darling, cooking as he always seemed to be. "Oh Darling~" she sang, attempting to channel the same siren like energy as Mero. Slithering up to Darling, she made the cutest, most innocent pose she could, pouting a bit as she asked, "how do I look, Darling?"
Darling, in the middle of cutting vegetables, stopped completely, frozen as he looked on at Miia. "W-wow..." he said breathlessly. Regaining his sense he shook his head and smiled at Miia, "you look beautiful. That outfit is great on you." Darling now furrowed his brow, looking skeptically at Miia. "Ya know, every time you get yourself all cute like this, you usually want something. What is it, Miia?" He smirked knowingly.
Miia mock gasped, feigning innocence, for nothing more than the fun of it. "Why, I don't know why you say it like that. All i want is to spend time with my Darling! What's wrong with that?" Miia smiled, twirling a strand of hair between her fingers.
Darling chuckled, "well, nothing wrong with that." As Darling's kind, soft eyes locked with Miia's, there was a moment of silence. Both their smiles slipped away, but not their happiness. They both felt warm, as their faces flushed. Neither blinked. It wasn't until Suu came aimlessly strolling into the kitchen, humming something, that the pair realized their noses were nearly touching. Leaping back from each other, both Miia and Darling blushed intensely, as Suu looked on with confusion.
After grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, Suu waved to the pair with a smile, then scampered back off to play with Papi.
Once they were alone again, Darling sighed. "So...another date night?"
Miia, sit blushing, nodded. "You choose this time."
Darling tapped his chin, "hmm. Got it!"
The couple set out soon after, entrusting the security of the house to Cerea. As they walked down the street, Miia slithered her hand into Darling's, warm, larger hand. To Miia's delight, he responded by gently squeezing. His grip was getting insane!
The pair stayed quiet for the most part, just walking and basking in one another's company. Though it was quiet, it was not awkward or stale; Miia felt entirely content simply walking in silence, hand in hand with her Darling. There just weren't any words needed. And Darling felt the same.
After a while of walking (and slithering) through town, Darling came to a stop before a flashing neon sign. "The arcade?" Miia said with a mix of confusion, bemusement, and excitement.
"Yep," Darling nodded, "it was one of the places we visited on our first date, remember? All that time ago."
Miia's smile widened and her body went weak. "How could I forget, Darling?" Leaning in, Miia planted a kiss on Darling's cheek, then tugged on his hand. "Come on, let's get inside already! This time, I'm gonna win the claw game!" Miia laughed with arrogance, already tearing a path to the machine.
Darling tailed closely, laughing, "oh we'll see about that, Miia!"
Of course, Miia once again failed horribly at the claw game, pouting and whining along with plenty of small children in the arcade. But for every time Miia lost or dropped the toy, Darling, her brave and strong hero, swooped in and won two in her stead. By the time they finished, they had to get three bags to help carry the plethora of stuffed animals and knick knacks that the knight Darling had won for his princess. Among their treasure trove was a fluffy maned horse, a very pudgy blue bird, a big eyed, fuzzy purple spider, a simple blue plush ball with a smiley face, and even an elegant pink and white specled Koi fish, which Miia insisted on winning. Taking the last prize he had won, a plastic gold crown with multi colored jewels, Darling knelt down dramatically and presented it to Miia, "my queen," he said in his best impression of Cerea, "I present my winnings to you. May they bring you happiness and pleasure."
Taking the crown and dropping it atop her barett, Miia snickered. "Oh, get up Darling! Save the role-playing for Mero and Cerea. We've got more games to win!"
From one game to the next, the duo won their way through the arcade. Well, sort of; Darling won most of the games with a wit and reflex Miia had never seen in him, whereas Miia was content with watching him. One game after another, prizes filled Darling's arms. As they went along, they gained a following, with a small crowd of kids and teens watching them intently. Miia couldn't tell if it was because of her, or Darling's skills, but she didn't care. Upon arriving to the ski ball game, it seemed Darling's luck had run out. While he did appear to have a strong throw, he couldn't quitequite aim. Just as he was about to become frustrated, a ball went soaring past his head and into the center hole. Looking back, he saw Miia smirking as she tossed another ski ball into her tail. Darling gave her a smile of pride and adoration.
Hours later, the pair trudged out of the arcade, worn out from all the games and arms piled with the trophies of their victory. Miia looked up to the sky and snickered; they hadn't realized that the sun had completely set, the stars and nightlife of the city already out. As they continued on down the street, Miia decided she'd had enough silence, saying, "My goodness Darling, I never knew you were THIS good at video games!"
Darling laughed and blushed, shrugging as best he could without dropping his mountain of prizes. "Ah, well...its just easier to win when I'm winning for you, Miia."
Miia was taken slightly aback; such an open, confident, and smooth flirt from Darling was unheard of, at least not without a sheepish retreat afterward. However, as Miia looked to Darling, she nearly gasped. He was still blushing, but his smile was wide as ever, his eyes bright and filled with a glimmer. Miia sighed, then giggled, "Jeez Darling, I didn't think you were that cheesy," she said as she leaned onto Darling, nuzzling her shoulder into his.
Darling jolted, reacting quickly to keep himself upright. But his smile didn't fade, surprising Miia even more as he snuggled back into her, gently rubbing his cheek onto her head.
As Miia felt Darling's arm, she finally let her curiosity come forth. "Alright Darling. I've gotta ask. Every time I touch you, it seems like you're getting stronger; your arms feel so big compared to how scrawny you used to be. What's up?"
Darling blushed now, taking on his more usual character as he turned his face away nervously. "W-well, I've...been going to the gym. Just...cause."
Miia smirked and furrowed her brow, leaning closer to Darling's face, "oh come on now Darling, are you hiding things from me?" Miia realized the irony in her question, but she wasn't about to snitch on herself. Besides, she was only teasing Darling to get a rise out of him. Mostly. "You can tell me anything you know. I don't think there should be any sec-" As Miia continued her taunt, she saw Darling turn and lunge forward. Her eyes widening and with no time to react, Miia gasped just the slightest before Darling's lips met hers. Miia's brain went static for a moment, then sparks erupted through every cell in her body. Blinking a few times, Miia sighed, then turned into the kiss and closed her eyes. After a time that felt like hours, and still not long enough, Darling pulled away, quickly resuming his walking pace as he tried to hide the smile tugging at his lips. "Come on," he said casually, keeping his back turned so Miia would not see his crippling blush, "let's to get a bite to eat. I'm starving."
Miia, so addled was her brain by the wonderful torment of a tease that was the kiss, she couldn't stop herself from saying the first thing that came into her head: "Oh, I don't need much to eat Darling," catching up to him again, Miia let her tail shoot out and aggressively wrap around Darling's butt. After his yelp, Miia leaned into Darling's ear and whispered, "I just want a snack."
It took Darling a while to catch on to Miia's meaning, but once he did, his eyes went wide and he reeled back from Miia, stammering and blushing, his usual embarrassed mess. That was Miia's Darling alright. "W-w-w-what are you saying, Miia!?" He exclaimed, trying very hard to keep his voice low.
"Oh Darling," Miia said, playing coy as she smirked and continued on down the sidewalk in the direction of the market district, "I just meant I'm not very hungry; I'll just eat something light. Why must you always perceive everything in such a perverted way?" Miia made certain to shake and undulate her hips and ass as much as possible while she passed Darling. He was just so fun to tease - he made it so easy.
Blushing, and now fuming, Darling caught up to Miia, trying desperately to keep his eyes above her waist. "A-alright then Miia, what are you thinking?"
The pair hopped from one market stall to the next, grabbing some of everything, adding more and more to their already full arms. Finally, much to the relief of Darling's back, they sat down on a bench, setting their treasure trove next to them as they are their buffet of assorted delicacies.
Miia leaned against Darling's side, humming happily as she bit into a tokoyaki ball. With her mouth half full of warm, fluffy, creamy tempura goodness, she mumbled, "I lub yoo, Darring. I lub yoo so so muff."
Darling laughed and picked up a napkin, then wiped a bit of batter off the corner of Miia's mouth, then leaned into her and kissed her head. "I love you too, Miia."
The feeling of elation that filled Miia's chest was indescribable. Her heart was being pulled up by angels as she heard the words she waited so long and so desperately to hear. This was everything to her - nearly everything. But, as Mero had told her, Miia just relished in the happiness of the moment. She still may not have been able to have sex with him, but to have heard Darling say he loved her more than once was the greatest pleasure Miia could imagine. With a smile she guessed was longer than her tail, Miia continued to eat as she snuggled into the warmth of Darling. With his arm around her shoulder, Darling bit into his crepe, blushing, but smiling as well.
That night after returning home, Miia decided to go to bed early. After hauling all the prizes into her room, Darling sighed and stood in her doorway, looking down sheepishly as Miia held her hands in front of herself. "Goodnight, Darling." Miia said, her smile stuck to her face.
"Goodnight...Miia.." Darling sighed, unable to keep a smile away, even through his blush. Leaning forward, Darling brushed a strand of hair from Miia's face, then hesitantly, swallowing roughly, he placed his lips to Miia's.
Miia had to hold in a snicker. He still wasn't an experienced kisser yet, and she could tell just how nervous he was. But he was warm and soft and loving nonetheless. Reciprocating, she almost whimpered when he pulled away.
Shaking his head with a sigh, Darling said, "I...I..." Darling stammered, his lips almost seeming uncomfortable on his face.
Miia put her finger to his lips and hushed him, "Shh. It's okay Darling, I know. But...I've waited this long. I can stand to wait just a bit longer." Darling nodded a Miia took his hands, continuing, "I had a lovely evening, as always."
With that, Darling concurred, then was off to bed himself. Shutting her door, Miia sighed. She meant what she said; waiting wasn't that bad when she had Mero and everyone else to satisfy her needs. Now, she could just focus on her emotional love for-
"Oh, finally Mistress!" Mero sprang from under Miia's bed sheets, making Miia fall over in a shriek. "Oh dear! I'm so sorry Mistress, I was waiting for you, but I had to hide from our Beloved, I didn't mean to startle you!" As Miia got up, a gleam entered Mero's eyes, the mermaid biting her lip. "If you...wish to punish me for frightening you, I...would understand the need for a spanking..."
Miia furrowed her brow at Mero as she slipped out of her clothes and into bed. "Jeez Mero, have I been away from you that long? You sound extra horny." As she snuggled into her pet's soft bosom, Miia reached around and grabbed her soft and plush rear. Miia's mind went static momentarily. "...I suppose I wouldn't mind giving you a light spanking...my naughty little Mermaid." Miia growled with lust and desire as Mero whimpered with need.
Sitting herself up, Miia pulled Mero onto her lap and locked their lips in a greedy, hungry kiss, to which Mero moaned in joy. Pulling away from Mero, Miia locked eyes with her mermaid for a moment, licking her own lips, then sliding her tongue out to lick across Mero's sensually. Using her tail, and with the utmost caution, Miia flipped Mero over, putting her hips into Miia's lap and facing her succulent booty up. Miia was going to enjoy this, very very much.
Hours passed as Miia partook in perhaps the most lecherous and depraved act yet with Mero. Unashamedly though, Miia and Mero both relished every second of it. The pair had been so pent up with Miia being so busy, it was blissful just to get the time to do anything. After finishing, Mero fell asleep on Miia's chest, snuggled into her Mistress's breasts, hugging her shoulders as she breathed slowly and softly, occasionally making happy coos and mewls in her sleep. Tired as she was, Miia couldn't seem to get to sleep herself. She had a nagging feeling at the back of her mind, a constant chill going up her neck; something telling her she should stay awake.
Just as the thought crossed her mind, Miia heard her door creaking open, in an eerily slow manner. Her heart quickened for a moment as she saw a pale blue hand curl around the door, Lala entering with the grace and ease of a big cat hunting in the night. As soon as Miia saw Lala's face however, she immediately calmed: the Dullahan looked nervous, fidgety, and somewhat sad. Smiling at her, Miia wagged her finger in a come hither motion to Lala.
Lala, dressed in only a white turtle neck sweater and her typical scarf, held her arms under her chest as she slowly glided forward.
"Good evening, Lala," Miia whispered in as jovial a time she could manage without disturbing Mero, "how may I help you this fine evening?"
Lala pulled her scarf around her face to hide a blush as she looked down to her feet. "Well...on most common a night like this, I, the Dullahan, would be tasked with the ferrying of souls. This night, however, there be not a soul for me to accompany into death. A harbinger of death with no death to reap; I am left with naught to do. Therefore, I...have come to inquire of you, Miia, Mistress of many, if thou might let me...stay in your company, for a time..." Lala ended her monologue in a tone barely audible.
Miia had to hold in a giggle. Ever the theatrics. Translating Lala's words in her head, Miia figured out what she meant: Lala was bored and lonely, so she wanted to come snuggle with Miia. Smiling and opening her arms, Miia , "Why of course. Get over here, Smurfette. You owe me a proper kiss."
Lala blushed again, but slowly obeyed, climbing onto the bed.
Miia, using her coils, readjusted Mero, pulling her down so that her head was now resting in Miia's lap, allowing Lala to come to Miia's opposite side and snuggle into her chest. Wrapping one arm around Lala's back, Miia slowly leaned into a soft and sensual kiss on Lala's delectable blue lips, making certain to use her other hand to hold the back of Lala's head.
Lala moaned and whimpered into the kiss, her hands curling up weakly on Miia's chest. Miia's skin was cold, which, for an agent of death whom guided the deceased across the river Stix, was not anything to cause discomfort; however, despite the lamia's lack of warm blood, contact with her still sent electricity into Lala's otherwise unfeeling nerves. She felt as though she would become intoxicated by a kiss and an embrace alone.
Miia pulled back from Lala with a smirk, feeling the blue woman's nervous fidgeting cease. Miia sincerely wished Lala was warmer to hold, but she was plenty soft to make up for her lack of heat. Stroking her hand down Lala's ethereal silver hair and pulling her closer with an arm around her waist, Miia purred, "so Lala, what kind of company would you like tonight? A gentle and nurturing friend, or a soft and tender lover?" Miia brushed her tongue past Lala's cheek, eliciting an adorable gasp and whimper from her. Giggling, Miia nuzzled into Lala, her hands groping over Lala's wonderfully plump breasts and butt.
Lala whimpered and moaned softly, unable to do anything but clench her eyes shut and press herself closer to Miia. "I-I...the steward of souls...needn't...any such th-iiings!" Lala squeaked as Miia brought a loose portion of her coils up to cup tightly around Lala's butt.
Miia pouted, clicking her tongue, "Tsk tsk tsk Lala," Miia said, taking up a somewhat pleading expression as she looked up into Lala's eyes. Some time ago, the black of Lala's eyes lit only by her piercing golden irises frightened Miia, but now, as she looked into them, she saw only a beautiful and lonely girl, in desperate need of some affection. "You really shouldn't lie to your Mistress. After all, you came to me. And I just want to help you." Stroking Lala's hair some more, Miia let her fingers gently trickle down the side of Lala's face, tracing its beautiful curvature.
Lala was in shambles, her blush now overtaking her face as pathetic noises of submission escaped her lips. "V-very well...Mistress...I shall be honest." Lala cleared her throat, attempting to steel herself. She remembered the spirals Miia used, and how good they made her feel. The liberating freedom it gave her to speak her emotions. The comforting safety the presence of her Mistress gave her. "I do seek your companionship. I crave for closeness...I long for the feeling of not only another's body to be near mine, but for the closeness of souls..." Lala looked down now, unable to continue.
Miia snickered. While it wasn't exactly the words Miia had wanted to hear, she understood and appreciated Lala's sentiment. "All you had to do was ask," Miia said before leaning into another kiss, this time pouring in more passion and vigor. As she claimed Lala's lips, making the Dullahan moan and reciprocate, Miia slid her hands under Lala's sweater, rubbing up and down her shapely hips, then moving upward to her titillating breasts.
Lala's nipples instantly shot up to pert hardness as Miia's cool and gentle hands slithered over them. Once more, bolts of lightning filled Lala's skin. Something began to boil up in her; a feeling, a desire began to rise from her soul. "Mistress," the words tore themselves from her mouth as she broke the kiss, "please Mistress...I want you...I want you to have your way with me...I want to feel good, like the other girls...I want to feel your love..."
Miia smirked at Lala's adorable plea. She couldn't fathom turning her down when she was so cute. "As you wish, my pet." Miia began her hypnosis.
All of Miia's stress and exhaustion from working seemed to melt away. Some number of orgasms, and the miracle of Lala's head not falling off, later, Miia snuggled into both Lala and Mero in her coils, falling into a truly wonderful slumber.
As for Lala, she was in utter bliss, snuggled into her Mistress's cushiony bosom. It was in Miia's embrace and under her hypnosis that Lala finally understood something that vexed even she, the reaper of souls: why humans would spend all their lives searching for love. While Lala had no need for romance, nor any interest in marrying a mortal, she could still take heart in the fact that she had friends who could care for her in such ways.
Finally, Friday arrived. After working a mild morning shift at the shrine, Miia took a bath and began to prepare for her dinner guests. At Darling's insistence, they had turned her simple event of having a friend from out of town into a full blown dinner party. As Darling cooked tempura, rice, vegetables, lo mein, an pan, and egg dishes galore, Miia and Cerea set the table and chairs while every one else helped clean the house. Aside from Miia's old friend and Draco, Darling had insisted the other girls invite friends as well; Tanner, Lilith, Kii, Currie, and Kino were all expected to attend. Once everything was ready besides the food, Miia had naught to do but wait. Sitting down next to Mero, she huffed a bit, putting a hand on her head.
"Miia?" Mero said with concern, already wrapping both her hands around Miia's, leaning into her side, "Are you alright? You've been plotting this dinner for weeks, I thought you'd be more excited, yet you look perturbed."
Miia Lau her lightly, holding Mero's hand in turn. Ever present was Mero's insight and intuition. "I'm fine," Miia said, her tone somewhat dry, "just a little nervous. I haven't seen Layah in years. And introducing her to Draco could be...risky. She's extremely competitive and her personality can sometimes be...an acquired taste."
Mero smirked. "Sounds a lot like someone else I know." She poked Miia's arm playfully.
Miia growled, but couldn't keep from snickering. "You're so lucky I love you..." she muttered to Mero. "But you can tell why I'm nervous, right? You know how Draco is, too...weren't you scared about introducing Tanner and Cerea?"
Mero shook her head. "Not at all. I knew them both, and trusted that they would get along. But, you are correct, that your two friends may have conflicting personalities. Let me then ask you this, Miia: why are you having them meet?"
Miia was taken aback for a moment. Mero knew the reason behind her plan, but she decided to humor her anyways. "Because I don't want Draco to be alone...I know how she feels about me, but...I just can't feel the same way about her. I've tried, but...it's just not there, not in that way. She's still my friend though, so I don't want t o hurt her. If I can get her and Layah together...it will make everyone happy."
Mero opened her mouth to say something, but she was silenced by the ringing of the doorbell. Smiling, Mero sighed and said, "It seems you don't have any time left to be nervous. Our guests are here. So, have faith in your friends, and relax. Your plans have all worked so far." With that, Mero kissed Miia's cheek, then rolled off toward the door as Darling rushed to let the guests in.
Miss Smith was standing at the door, the gaggle of liminals behind her, all dressed in moderately formal clothing. Smith gave a wry smile and fixed her glasses, saying, "here they are. I'm shocked you want this many trouble makers under your roof at once."
Darling chuckled, "Well, I never had a choice. You've been dumping one trouble maker after another on me for over a year now."
Smith's smile dried up. "...touche."
Darling opened the door wider and welcomed everyone inside, leaving him and Smith at the door.
Peering in the door and taking a whiff of the air, Smith said, "My, something smells good in there. I think I'll hang around and-"
Before she could finish, Miia rushed the door, quickly closing it with, "Sorry, no more room, thanks, see you later!"
Smith pouted, then huffed. "Fine. I'll go see if the team wants to hang out, I guess..."
Inside, all the guests gravitated toward their companions. Tanner and Cerea immediately struck a conversation, while Suu and Papi were swarmed by their trio of shy, blushing social butterflies. Lilith stood next to Rachnee, silent, while Rachnee made remarks that made herself laugh. Lilith was wearing a modest and frilly, pink dress, befitting of a young girl at a nice event. Lilith was obviously unhappy about it, but Rachnee found it oh so amusing. Draco scampered to Miia and Mero, dressed in a dashing dark red suit, her hair slicked back and her scales even appearing polished. Blushing, Draco said to Miia as she rubbed her neck, "I didn't know there was gonna be THIS many people here, Miia."
Miia smiled apologetically, "Sorry Draco. I thought if I told you it'd be this many you wouldn't come...but I'm so glad you did! You look amazing!" Miia wrapped her arms around Draco's shoulders, hugging her tightly.
Draco blushed more, hesitantly returning the hug and biting her lip. "Thanks...the food smells good...your boyfriend must be one hell of a chef..."
Mero nodded, giggling, "oh, you have no idea." As everyone made their way to the table, Tanner met Darling in the kitchen. "Ah, Mr. Kimihito! May I just extend my deepest thanks to you," Tanner leaned down into a deep and dramatic bow, "not only for inviting me to this lovely occasion, but also for taking such wonderful care of our illustrious Lady Centorea. And, my dearest friend Meroune, of course." Tanner chuckled while Cerea rolled her eyes.
Darling blushed and rubbed the back of his neck, laughing in return. "Oh, really, it's all my pleasure. Mero and Cerea are delights to have here, and any friend of theirs I consider a friend of mine."
Miia smirked as she saw the two interact. Something about their chemistry amused her.
Just as Miia was about to sit down, the doorbell rang yet again. Springing up, Miia exclaimed, "That must be her! I'll get it!" Miia practically flew to the door, her tail propelling her like a spring.
Draco turned Mero and whispered, "wow...She's really excited, huh?"
Mero smirked, "If only you knew..."
Everyone at the table heard Miia exclaim, "Layah! I'm so happy to see-!"
Miia was cut off by a happy sounding squeal and what sounded like someone throwing themselves at her. By the strangled noises Miia was making, they could guess she was being hugged.
"Jeez Layah...you look amazing! But...did you have to wear that?"
"Oh...well..." Mero could hear the blush in the girls soft and timid voice, "I remembered how it was always your favorite...i just wanted you to see as much of me as possible." Though the girl seemed shy and unsure, her voice clearly dipped down to a much more husky and suggestive tone. Mero giggled, figuring this Layah seemed exactly the type to befriend Miia.
"Everyone," Miia said as she returned to the dining room, "this is a very old friend of mine, Layah." On cue, Layah slithered from around the corner, hesitant and with a very shy stance.
Layah stood as tall as Miia, yet even more striking in appearance. Her tail was a stark and shimmering white, as if painted with freshly fallen snow, covered in hexagonal patches of black scales, with the occasional red sprinkled in. Her hair matched, going from an all white feathered bob, then black into a small braid from the back of her head, and ending with ruby red on the tips of her hair. Her face was kind and soft, albeit somewhat hidden behind her bangs; her cheek scales, much like Miia's, matched her tail, but we're a more rounded shape than Miia's. Her eyes were a striking and bright blood red; for a moment, Currie thought she might be part vampire. What drew almost everyone's attention last though was her attire: a traditional lamia belly dancing outfit, the same style as Miia's mother wore, but with many teal accents, a nice contrast to her scale colors. Though Layah's breasts didn't fill out the top as much as Miia's, her hips were just as sensually wide and toned. She stood with her hands, adorned by multiple gold rings and the outfits sash, folded in front of her, very clearly unaccustomed to such a crowd.
Mero approached her first, extending a hand with a beautiful and disarming smile, "Hello, Miss Layah. I'm Meroune, but you may call me Mero. Miia has spoken so highly of you, it's an honor to finally meet you."
Layah blushed even more now, her eyes widening at Mero. Leaning to Miia subtly, she whispered, "Gosh Damn Miia, she's fucking gorgeous." Looking back to Mero, she offered a sheepish smile, taking Mero's hand to shake, "Oh the pleasure is all mine Miss Mero. Miia has told me of you as well, and I must thank you for being such a great friend to my sweet Miia."
Mero giggled, then pulled Layah's hand in, laying a gentle kiss on it before saying, "Oh, that's nothing at all. It truly is my pleasure to be Miia's friend."
Miia could almost feel the electric tension crackling between the two, but didn't know if that was good or bad.
Everyone else at the table introduced themselves to Layah, all with kind smiles (save for Lilith and Rachnee, who were much more mischievous). Lastly, Miia stood at her seat and proclaimed, "This is Draco."
Draco had been sitting in silence, her eyes unable to break away from Layah, having been absolutely struck by her at first sight. She wa as beautiful as Miia! Draco wanted to curse herself for ever comparing another woman to her love, but she just couldn't; Layah's beauty and cuteness was absolute. Draco had just enough time to compose herself before Miia brought Layah to her, yet now, looking into the crimson red eyes, Draco was lost in them. Clearing her throat and shaking her head, Draco stood, hitting herself on her chair as she made a clumsy wreck of herself, scrambling to Layah. Fixing her jacket, Draco held her hand out to Layah, blushing, and said in the most attractive and husky a voice she could muster, "Hey. I'm Draco. How lovely to meet you. If every lamia is as beautiful as you and Miia, I might have to visit your hometown."
Layah blushed brightly, shrinking behind her hair. Miia scoffed, "What, are Layah and I not pretty enough already?"
Draco blanked, her eyes widening and her cheeks turning red. "N-no, that's not it!" She sputtered, "You're both more than pretty enough! I-I don't even know what to do with myself around you, your beauty just makes my brain stop and-!" Draco slapped her hand over her own mouth, then sat down, putting her face into her hands.
Miia smirked, her plan working perfectly, while everyone else giggled. Miia sat down next to Draco, Layah going to Miia's left. Darling smiled and set out the food, welcoming everyone to eat.
As everyone began their meal, the guests immediately showered Darling with compliments, fawning over his exquisite cuisine. At Cerea's behest, Papi and Suu had to eat their vegetables before they could have any of the good food. Of course, unhappy with this, Papi had showed Kii how to make a spoon catapult, and the two were launching their broccoli and carrots into Suu's open mouth.
"Papi!" Cerea gently chastised, "Come now, that is no respectable way to act, especially around guests! Eating your vegetables is essential to keeping a healthy body. Moreover,"
Cerea continued on, lecturing Papi and Suu, who pouted, but also spaced out, not understanding most of the words Cerea was using.
Grumbling a bit, Layah leaned in close to Miia and whispered, "I the horse may have accidentally sat on her sword, she's such a hard ass." It just so unfortunately happened that as Layah began to speak, almost the whole table fell silent. Her eyes darting around, Layah soon realized that everyone had heard her. Squeaking and covering her face, Layah turned to Cerea, only one eye peaking from behind her fingers. "Oh gods! I'm so sorry miss Cerea, I did not mean to say that!"
Cerea sighed and shook her head with a light chuckle. "Not to worry, Layah. I've heard far worse from my housemates. Besides, I suppose you are right; this is a fun occasion. I should keep the lessons to a minimum." Grabbing Papi's plate, Cerea put some more vegetables on it and said with a stern, maternal look, "If you eat these, then you can anything else you want. Understand?"
Papi, though still somewhat grumpy about have to eat any vegetables, nodded anyway.
Draco was currently holding back a bout of laughter. She had been astounded that such a fair and reserved girl like Layah had the gall to say something about Cerea that everyone was thinking, and with no lack of cleverness. Draco felt attraction to her, more so than with most girls. Still, Draco had to check her feelings: she had room in her heart for only one lamia.
Quickly moving beyond the faux pas with Layah, everyone continued to enjoy dinner, and in a short amount of time, all the plates were cleaned. Everyone chatted with a lively atmosphere many of them weren't used to; Kii and Kino were getting along swimmingly, while Tanner and Currie had struck up conversation. Cerea took note of how often Tanner would glance back to her, even mid conversation with someone. Even with the widest assortment possible of vastly attractive women all laid before him, Tanner was still under the spell of Cerea's beauty and had only eyes for her. Cerea smiled to herself, taking a rather large sip of wine. Draco, on the other hand, wasn't having so wonderful a time. She talked with Mero, her frustration ruin my veiled as Miia's attention was completely consumed by Layah. It seemed the two friends hadn't caught up in quite some time, but for every word Draco overheard, every blush and smile that Layah gave Miia, something grew increasingly obvious to her: it seemed that Layah and Miia were closer than just friends.
While Mero talked to Draco, she knew exactly where the Dragon girls mind was. Even she was beggining to feel a bit possessive of her Mistress as she heard Miia laughing and regaling one tale after another to Layah. But, Mero had faith in her Mistress, and knew that their love was absolute. Even if she did have a strong and close connection to this old friend of hers, Mero knew better than to doubt her own bond with Miia. Her greatest concern now was Draco. Mero's dream had been for the longest time to experience unrequited love, and yet, the look on Draco's face as she watched Miia speak with Layah was one of sheer pain.
Soon, the conversations left the table, everyone doing a little to help clean up while Rachnee and Lilith took up assisting Darling with the dishes. Normally, Miia would never let such a thing occur, but her plate was too full as it was. Most everyone sat in the living as they chatted, while Papi and Suu took Kii and Kino around the house in a grand tour. Draco and Curie had struck a conversation, surprisingly, finding common ground on their wings (or perhaps their similarly underdeveloped chests), Miia thought. Mero now sat on the couch in between Layah and Miia, while the lamia described to her what it was like growing up in their village.
"well, we were all raised learning the basic means of seduction," Layah said, now warming up more at least to Mero, "we wore outfits like this a lot," she gestured to her own attire, "and we took many dancing lessons, as well as learning chemistry for positions and such. But otherwise, it was much the same as any other species upbringing, to my knowledge. We went to school, we played, we laughed. We...had crushes and love..." Layah now blushed as she looked down to her folded hands.
Miia now stepped in, "We even had sports. Layah and I were undefeated in whip ball!" Mero cocked her head, "What's whip ball?"
Layah lolooked back up now, seemingly having composed herself as she said, "Its somewhat like the human's baseball, but instead of a wooden stick we use our tails, and you work in pairs. Miia and I were undefeated..." Her voice and eyes drew diet and and dreamy as she reminisced.
Miia smirked and snickered. "Your tail used to be one of the strongest there was, Layah. I wonder, have you gotten rusty?"
Layah looked up, an unusual smirk spreading on her lips. "Oh, believe me Miia dear, my tail can do much more than it could back then." Draco, sitting across the room, choked on her drink as she overheard that, her mind instantly sailing away with lewd fantasies.
As everyone prepared to leave, Cerea's farewell to Tanner was interrupted by a phone call. Answering it, Cerea said, "Oh, yes, Miss Smith? Yes, I'm still with Tanner. What do you mean? Danger, how so!? I swear it, on my honor as a centaur, no harm shall ever come to him!" Hanging up the phone, Cerea received several puzzled looks. Clearing her throat and blushing, Cerea explained, "Miss Smith has informed me that Tanner is in some form of unknown danger. She has asked me to stay with him, as his bodyguard until the threat can be better assessed. I will be paid for it, she said, but I...I must...go to his residence..." Cerea covered her face with her hand, her blush too great for her to bear.
Darling sighed, but shrugged. "Well, if you're alright with it Cerea, I can't tell you not to. And Tanner, I trust you to take care of Cerea as well while she's with you."
Tanner stood tall and put a hand on his heart. "I swear to you Kimihito, I will strive to care for her as well as you have."
Darling smiled and shook Tanner's hand, with a very surprising show of protective masculinity; one that Miia and Mero certainly weren't opposed to seeing. After hugging Cerea, she went off to her room to prepare a bag. Not long after, she and Tanner were leaving, while everyone else prepared.
"Oh, Miia?" Layah said, clutching to Miia's arm like it was her lifeline, blushing behind her hair, "where will I be staying...?"
"You'll be in my room. I'll take you up there in a minute." Miia responded.
Draco bit her lip a little. So, Layah was staying with Miia...? Draco growled to herself a bit, until she felt a cool hand on hers.
"Oh Draco," Mero said, smiling up to her, "would you like to stay the night as well? I think a sleepover with the four of us would be delightful!" Mero clasped her hands together and looked to Miia, "Wouldn't you agree, Miia?"
Miia smiled and gasped. "Well absolutely! Why didn't I think of it? Of course you're invited to stay Draco!" Miia gave Mero a subtle smirk; another step of their plan, executed to perfection.
Draco, of course, couldn't refuse the invitation from Miia, and so called her homestay. While the other girls went to Miia's room, getting changed, Darling retrieved a robe and some baggy clothes for Draco. "Here," he said, handing them to her nearly folded, "i think we're about the same size, but those should be loose on you."
Draco blushed, taking the clothes. "Th-thanks..." she said, after a pause.
Darling smiled and replied, "You're welcome, Draco." Then after another awkward pause, they parted ways, Draco going off to Miia's room and Darling going to the living room, where Suu and Papi had their friends for their own sleepover.
Miia, Mero, and Layah were all waiting on Miia's bed when Draco walked in, wearing Darling's pajamas and blushing. She quickly climbed onto the bed, curling her tail around her legs and her wings around her shoulders. She didn't know why she was so nervous...She had been naked around both Miia and Mero at this point, what was so scary now? It was Layah; something about her, her shy and reserved mannerisms that made Draco want to retreat back into her own shell.
Miia and Mero were wearing their matching pink nightgowns, while Layah wore a very covering, frilly blue gown. Reaching behind herself, Miia pulled up a bottle of sake and four...sippie cups? Filling them and handing them to the girls, Miia smiled. "Come on now, drink up! We're all way too stiff to have fun."
"Why the cup though...?" Draco asked, looking at her skeptically.
"So we don't spill it on the bed." Miia explained with such a matter of fact tone. After Miia gulped down her cup, the other girls followed suit, everyone silent for a few minutes as they filled themselves with booze. Draco was somewhat glad for it; even if the alcohol failed to give her any confidence, it would dull the other girl's senses enough they wouldn't notice her fear.
Miia popped off the nozzle of her cup with an erotic noise and lick of her lips. Smirking, she said, "alright. We're gonna play truth or dare!"
None of the girls objected, the sake having enough of an effect already. Miia wrapped her coils around the circle, going behind each girl, pressing her tail up against their backs and pushing them closer in toward one another. "I'll start," Miia said with an innocent smile, "Mero!" She exclaimed, pointing her finger dramatically at the mermaid, cuing her to faux gasp. "Truth or dare, my Little Mermaid."
Mero tapped a finger to her chin in thought. She knew what she was going to say, but enjoyed putting on the show. "I'll take...Truth."
Miia grinned with evil intent, "okay then. Who was your first childhood crush?"
Mero blushed and put her hand over her mouth. "It was a prince of a neighboring merpeople kingdom named Ranga. Our kingdoms never really got along, and he was never interested in me for some unknown reason, but that only made it better; that was my first experience with tragic love that cemented my passion for it."
Miia rolled her eyes and chuckled, "why am I not surprised?" After a confused look from Layah, she whispered, "I'll tell ya later."
"My turn then," Mero said, perking back up, "I think I'll go with...Draco. Truth or dare?"
Draco jolted back to reality when Mero said her name. She had once again been lost into the void while staring at Layah and Miia. Now, she couldn't tell which of them she was more mesmerized by. Not thinking, Draco simply responded, "Uh, dare."
Mero smiled innocently, folding her hands as she thought of an appropriate challenge. "Very well...I dare you, Draco...to go into the hall, and kiss the first person you see."
It took Draco a moment to comprehend what Mero had said, but as soon as it clicked in her brain, her face lit ablaze and she jumped back, her wings flaring out. "Kiss someone!? Seriously!?" She squeaked.
Mero nodded, with Miia chiming in, "rules are ya gotta do it. Don't worry, you'll get a chance to get her back later."
Draco groaned and pouted, but got up anyway, unable to disobey Miia. Draco felt like she was under some kind of spell whenever Miia told her to do something. Begrudgingly, arms crossed, and with plenty of noises of protest, Draco went out into the hall, the other girls lurking at the doorway, watching with intent and giddy intrigue.
Looking down the hall, Draco shivered. Nobody. While that did give her a moment to prepare herself, she wasn't sure she could; with this houses wide variety of residents and current guests, Draco was terrified of some of the possible partners that could walk down the hall... Just as Draco was trying to compose herself, her tail twitching nervously, she heard humming. Coming up the stairs and toward the bedrooms was a small, yellow raincoat clad figure, humming and swaying happily. Draco gulped and shivered as she made eye contact with Suu, who waved with a friendly smile. Looking back to the others with pleading eyes, Draco was met only with cold pressure and thumbs up. With a defeated sigh, Draco approached Suu.
Draco, rubbing her arm, bit her lip as she looked at Suu's naive smile. "Hey, Suu...," Draco said, extremely unsure of how to approach the situation, "I need to...Kiss you." Before Draco could chicken out or Suu could respond, Draco leaned forward in a very stiff motion, landing her lips onto Suu's for a quick second, then slinging back up.
Miia clicked her tongue, "that was hardly a kiss," she said to Layah and Mero, "but I guess we didn't specify. Woulda liked more of a show though..."
Draco opened her clenched eyes and hummed, licking her lips. Suu's lips were soft and cool, with an unexpectedly delightful flavor. Draco gently touched her lips, "W-wow, Suu...that felt...kinda nice...and you taste good..." Draco didn't even know what she was saying.
Suu's smile widened and her eyes brightened as her hair came to life behind her. "Taste good?" Suu repeated, her voice echoing and sweet as always, frightening Draco further.
It was too late before Draco reacted. "S-Suu, no, don't-!" Before she could say anything else, Draco was grabbed on all four limbs and tail by a tentacle as Suu began her barrage of groping. As Draco burned up in a blush, squirming and rambling half cocked pleas of mercy, Suu sensually slipped her clothes off. It was at this point the other girls retreated back into Miia's room, followed by the muffled sounds of Draco wailing and moaning accompanied by Suu's eerily adorable giggling.
"S-so!" Miia declared, "since it's Draco's turn to ask, we'll uh...wait. Suu should finish soon...I hope. That was super unexpected though." Miia sighed.
Mero fixed Miia with an unamused glare. "Come now Miia. We both know Suu. That was totally expected."
Miia blushed and fumed, "well you were the one that gave Draco the dare, now me! And how were we to know Suu was gonna be the one to walk up!?"
The trio sat in awkward silence, save for the occasional guttural croak of Draco load enough to reach them.
Finally, working up her courage, Layah looked to Mero and asked, "What did you mean that you both knew Suu...? Does she...do things like this often?" Layah blushed but smirked to Miia.
Mero giggled, sensing the answer Layah was looking for, "Oh yes. All the time. I can't even recall every time she's thrown herself on Miia and covered her in slime, soaking her clothes and making Miia moan and scream all the while."
Layah giggled, nudging Miia's arm, while Miia fumed, scowling at Mero. "It hasn't happened that often! Only like...six...Times.." Miia blushed, growling.
Layah giggled, leaning on Miia's side, "Oh how i wish I could have seen you, drenched in slime and spent..." Mero recognized the look in Layah's eyes as that of a girl lost in her greatest sexual fantasy.
"Well," Miia said, pushing Layah off of her dramatically, "you can see how hot Draco looks with slime all over he-" Before Miia could finish, Draco barged in the door, slamming it closed behind her.
Panting, Draco growled, "I hate...all of you." She was met with a chorus of laughter. Draco was of course drenched from head to toe in sticky, blue slime, her legs trembling as she clutched her tail in her hands.
Miia tossed Draco a towel and Darling's robe, "here ya go, dry off and get back over here, it's your turn now!"
Draco grumbled and groaned as she took her soaked clothes off, drying herself, trying not to focus on the others in the room. Mero and Miia didn't resist the urge to watch the sensual show of Draco cleaning herself off, while Layah buried her face in a pillow before Draco even unbuttoned her top. Draco, now in her robe, hopped onto the bed, then pulled a blanket around herself as she shivered. "Alright then...Layah..." Draco said, pulling the blanket up around her face to cover her blush, "truth or dare?"
Layah now pulled the pillow down, her eyes peering over top of it as she looked to Draco. "Well...I certainly don't want a dare like yours, so...Truth?" Her voice was hardly above a whisper, yet with a tone of snark.
Draco had to take a moment to think. She looked at Layah intently...then noticed the way Layah's eyes almost always drifted off onto Miia, how they lingered with a visible longing ache in them. "Have you ever thought of kissing Miia?" Draco asked, before she could stop herself.
Layah was taken completely by surprise, her eyes widening as her cheeks went bright red. Miia gave Draco a look of intrigue, while Mero bit her lip with amusement and anticipation. Once she composed herself, Layah looked up at Miia, the two meeting eyes. There was something there, Draco thought, as Layah began, "Yes. I have, many times over the years." Draco could sense, especially in Miia's gaze on Layah, that there was an undertone to her statement; a story only those two knew of. Mero could read this as well.
Layah sighed and put a hand over her face as she turned away from Miia. "Oh, silly me...I guess it's my turn now..."
Miia nodded, blushing as well as she turned away from Layah. Only Mero noticed it from her position, but she swore she saw a tear fall from Miia's eye.
Layah swallowed the lump in her throat and said without turning, "Miia, truth or dare?"
Miia cleared her throat, sitting back up, attempting to appear unbothered. "Dare, I suppose. Make sure it's a good one, Layah," Miia giggled.
Layah was silent for a moment, as everyone sensed she was preparing herself. Grabbing the bottle of sake, Layah took a large drink, then blurted out, "I dare you to kiss me, Miia!"
The room was silent for a moment. Then Miia shrugged. She took the bottle from Layah, took a bigger drink, then grabbed Layah by the chin. Turning her to face around, Miia pulled Layah in and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. Miia closed her eyes, while Layah's were open wide in shock.
Draco's jaw fell loose and Mero put her hands over her mouth, both in shock in jealousy.
Miia pulled back from the kiss, sighing then running a hand through her hair. "Alright, my turn then?" Miia asked to her three companions, who were utterly unresponsive.
Layah sat back as a smile broke over her lips, small, yet genuine. She pulled a large, plush bear into her lap and hugged it to her chest, trying to bury her blush in its fur, not wanting anyone to realise just how happy that kiss made her.
Miia rolled her eyes at Layah. She certainly hadn't planned on doing that, and she could tell Mero was caught off guard...but she could make it up to her later. Maybe if she could help Layah and Draco live out a few of their fantasies, that would help them get over her. Maybe. "Draco," Miia said, retaining her nonchalant air, "truth or dare?"
Draco groaned internally. "Well...I certainly don't want another dare."
Miia narrowed her eyes as she tried to think of a good question for Draco. What didn't she know about the Dragon girl that she wanted Mero and Layah to know as well? That list was incredibly short, so Miia had to take a moment. The more Miia looked at Draco, the more nervous she seemed. Sighing, Miia decided to take the path of mercy for the remainder of the night, while still advancing her goals, "What do you think of Layah?"
Draco and Layah's eyes both shot wide, looking to each other, then quickly to Miia. Continuing, Miia said, "Its clear you're attracted to her, but...more than that; what do you think of her so far after meeting her? Does my new friend approve of my old friend?" Miia smirked to Mero, who rolled her eyes with a bemused smile.
Draco looked to Layah awkwardly, then rubbed the back of her neck. "Huh...Alright, well..." Draco took a nervous gulp, "I do think she's beautiful...and you two definitely have a really close bond...I'm a bit jealous, honestly." Draco blushed, now turning her head down.
Layah also blushed, hiding behind her bear. Miia smiled, her plan now well into motion, and working quite well, she thought. Her two friends may have had their sharp edges, but they would fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, even if Miia had to hypnotize them into realizing it.
As Draco realised it was now her turn, frustration bubbled in her. It almost felt as if Miia was toying with her, teasing her. The way she sent her to Suu, and how she kissed Layah; was she trying to tell her off, give her a hint of some kind? Or just make her jealous? With an evil smirk, Draco looked to Mero. If Miia was going to tease her, then she'd tease Miia. "Mero," Draco purred, making her voice deeper and silkier, "truth or dare, sweetie?"
Mero smiled, catching the inflection in Draco's tone and replied, "I think I'll take a dare from you, lovely Draco."
Draco growled as she smirked, "Give me a kiss, princess."
Mero's eyes sparkled as she cooed and leaned forward, "oh well I suppose."
Draco leapt forward, her arm snaking around Mero's shoulders as she pulled Mero into her chest, then pressed their lips together, passionately and tenderly.
Miia and Layah were dumbstruck, while Mero simply melted into Draco. Miia smirked, then leaned forward on her hands. She could see Draco's game; she was jealous, and trying to make Miia jealous too. And she was...but oh, was it hot to see Draco pressed against and making out with her. Even if Miia's plan didn't totally work, she'd get an amazing show.
The rest the evening went quietly, with the game carrying on with a much lower energy. Within an hour, the four were ready for bed. Upon Draco's insistence, she slept on the floor, while Miia and Layah cuddled around Mero, their coils winding around and weaving into one another's over Mero. Just as Draco was about to close her eyes, she felt Miia's tail wrap around her own. Blushing, Draco whispered, "Goodnight Miia," with one final resolution to herself: no matter how many other rivals Draco had to fight for Miia's heart, she would win it.
