Aidzuki's pov
I find myself waking up again. And that it's morning, light streaming through the window, i'm glad it's rare a sunny day comes around or I would've been blinded by the rays and the pain in my head would hate to be disturbed. But there was just a soft glow to the room making it easy for my eyes to adjust.
"Aidzuki." I turn my head and see Esme standing at my bedside. Creepy...
"Goodness you're awake. Everyone's gone, Carlisle has gone to work and the children have gone to school. It's just me and you here. How are you feeling?" She asks fussing over me.
Well my sense of smell hasn't left. I guess I was only showing signs that my body was reverting back to illness again. The aches were gone aswell. I felt the same as when I last woke up. I grab her cold hands that where pressing against my neck glands.
"I feel...alright." I simply said yawning and stretching a bit letting out pleased groans.
"Are you hungry?" I shake my head and settle back down.
I sit up carefully soon after though, remembering the event from last night up until i blacked out. "Uhm, esme what happened after I passed out?"
Esme walks over and sits on my bed. "I'll tell you but then we need to get ready to go." I nod wanting to ask why and where but feeling I'd get my answer. "We were all in a panic..." she starts calmly.
## Esme pov
We watched as Aidzuki fell back, Carlisle flashes behind him and catches him before his eyes even close.
"I'll take him upstairs." Carlisle said just as his eyes slide shut completely. dull blue the last i see. He hoists him up and cradles him bridal style.
Carlisle is gone the second he has aidzuki secured in his arms, and i as well as alice go up with him after a brief glance to one another. We walk into the room to see Carlisle checking aidzuki's eyes holding his eyelids open.
"Today caused him a bit of distress, he's stabilizing again though. He should wake up in a little while." Carlisle had a concentrated look on his face most likely listening to his heart. The slight emotion i heard in his voice told me what he really meant 'we caused this'.
Aidzuki stiffened, then began moving around slightly mumbling causing Carlisle to momentarily pull back. When he stops and settles back down he exhales "jacob..."
We all look on sadly feeling regret that we even thought to keep him from his mate, but in our defense we didn't know up until he told us.
Carlisle finishes his examination, seemingly satisfied. "It's also possible that he wasn't ready to be separated from jacob. I wonder why he chose to come here then... he must've known that staying there was a better option" He tucks aidzuki under the covers and turns to us.
"Maybe he thought being where you could check him over would be best." I provide but even if thought it was still strange.
"I...I can't imagine us getting along. The possibility of a war starting is higher then us making peace. The only option i see as beneficial is aidzuki living on the rez." 'But he's apart of this family, atleast he's becoming part of the family'. Carlisle didn't say that last part but i know my mate. I knew the look in his eyes.
After a bit of silence i sigh.
"He's right you know..." I said staring at aidzuki lovingly.
Carlisle only nodded already knowing what I'm referring to.
He sighs "yes indeed we dont even try to get along, and we are very malicious to one another. We are enemies by nature. But i do think its time the cullens and the wolf pack try to come together as allies instead of enemies...as impossible as it may seem. I do see alot of benefits for both sides. It's that or I'm afraid he'll have to stay in La'push."
I glance at Alice who seemed a little hesitant to agree with us but but only for a second, for once she looked at aidzuki her resolve broke. She nods her face determined. She doesn't want him to leave...again.
"I'll call sam and ask for a meeting tomorrow to ask which they feel is better, though I'm certain it's more likely to be the latter. We will bring him with us. He might create a slightly less tense atmosphere. That is assuming he's up by tomorrow but the sooner the better" Carlisle stands after pulling a blanket over aidzuki and we walk out of the room to join the others who most likely heard us already.
As expected when we all make our way down to discuss these options their faces are all displeased surprisingly jasper has the most displeased look out of all of them. But then again it could be because of his empathy.
"I'm sure you all heard me. Now I'm not gonna force any of you to get along with the wolves but you have to atleast be civil to them and have patience. I know you've all warmed up to our guest as well. And i have a feeling he wants to stay here aswell." Carlisle started, getting straight to the point.
"I understand having to get along with atleast jacob but the rest of those mutts! That's impossible." Rosalie voiced shaking her head.
"Well I'm for it. But i really don't like it." Emmet says after rose, she looks at him exasperated. Emmet didn't hide his look of disdain. But he was kind hearted and didn't wanna cause anyone to suffer so his decision wasn't surprising.
"I'm sure I can also manage." Jasper says despite the look of pure anger on his face. Meaning it WAS just him picking up on the emotions in the room.
"I think aidzuki might be our only way of understanding eachother. The pack and us. And if aidzuki is gonna be part of this family, which I really want, then we'll have to get along with them anyways." Esme says.
"Ok so it's settled. I'll call the rez and see about a meeting." Carlisle says.
Rosalie snarled and stormed out of the room. "Fine! But i'm against this so don't expect me to be all Kumbaya with those dogs."
Emmet sighs "she'll come around. The pup has been growing on her to..." We nod in agreement.#
I sat there wide eyed openly staring at esme. "You guys would do all of that. F-for me?"
"Of course aidzuki. You're becoming one of the family, we all care for you." She said smiling.
Well I don't know about rosalie, but I could believe the rest of them care for me. But to go as far as letting their enemy into their territory... well that wasn't actually said but it was implied. Right? I don't know.
"Matter of fact that's where I'm supposed to be taking you, if you woke on time. Thirty more minutes and I'd have left you to rest. Carlisle called and they agreed to meet at the border. The kids should already be headed there since school got out ten minutes ago." I happily throw the covers away and get up out of the bed the thought of seeing jacob again more then enough to get me moving.
I was a bit wobbly on my feet but I managed to stand on my own and i walk over to the dressers across the room making sure to take my time so I don't fall. Esme watched me quietly body completely still but ready to jump into action.
"It's great that you're walking on your own again dear." Esme says once I'm digging through a dresser.
I hum as i lift up a onsie not really feeling like making an effort to dress. It was a onsie based off a character from a show I seen once. It wasn't my cup of tea but it was a good cartoon and one character left an impression on me. The onsie was pink and had a light pink hood with holes where ears used to be on it and there was a tail on the back but I cut it off so I can instead put my tail through the hole left behind. Ha behind.
I let my ears and tail out and was about to strip when I remembered a certain presence in the room so I turn to esme and blink a awkward smile forming.
"Oh! Well call if you need anything." She says exiting the room.
I change into the onsie and look around to find a mirror. I see one in the corner so i walk up to it and look myself over.
The bags under my eyes were lighter and my skin no longer looked ghostly pale. I comb my fingers through my hair, which has gotten kinda long, it now reached almsot to the middle of my back. I should ask Esme to cut it back to shoulder length when we get home later cause I don't wanna waste any time right now.
I tuck my hair in my onsie and put my hood on making sure my ears went through the holes i cut out. Once I did that I gave myself one last look over before I turned away and headed to the door. I stop and bring up a hand.
I checked my breath and decided to make a detour to the bathroom.

After taking care of my hygiene, even taking a shower i find myself in the kitchen with esme, me sitting at the table pouting.
"But I said I'm not hungry! I just wanna see jacob!" I complain when pancakes are set in front of me. Oooh but don't they smell delicious.
"And you will but there's no guarantee that he's there already, and even if they are the kids should be there by now so we don't have to rush." I throw my head back and whine. I was about to complain some more when a sharp pain from my hand caused me to jump. I looked at esme who was standing there with a wooden spoon.
"Eat. Now." She said sternly. I swallowed and immediately dug in.
Scary...
She smiled and went back to cleaning up. By the time she finished so was i, I was moving around in my chair impatiently waiting for her to finish.
Esme sighs "ok we can go now."
"Yay!" I yell and jump up. I regret it when the room spins and I'm leaning heavily over the top of the counter.
Esme shakes her head. "You're so impatient. You seen the boy yesterday! And careful you're not completely better yet."
When my head clears I stand up straight and smile sheepishly at her. She flashes by my side and bends down her back facing me.
I look at her confused but she then looks over her shoulder expectantly at me. "Uh are you sure." I ask.
She rolls her eyes "Aidzuki, I can rip a tree from the ground then carry said tree across Washington. I'm a vampire to remember, pretty sure I can handle you." She says.
I nod, blushing and climb on without a word. She gracefully stands and flashes to the door pausing only to open and close the door. I take the few seconds she's standing on the porch to breath in fresh air before she's running again.
With my eyesight back it's not hard to distinguish what to human eyes would be green blurs. I see the trees, every little crevice, the creatures living inside said crevices. It's wonderful having my senses back. Can't wait to run around out here with my own legs.
^a few minutes later^
We end up in a clearing and esme begins to slow down. I notice the Group, the cullen 'kids' and the wolf pack just...standing there. Staring eachother down.
I blink with a small frown. Boy we have a looong way to go. All the wolves were in wolf form and all the cullens where in...statue form?
When we reach them I slid down from esme's back. My eyes land immediately on jake who was looking right back at me with surprised large honey brown eyes. I wish I could run to him and face plant into his fur but i settled for the slow pace I'm forced to walk since neither party could cross the line to help me. I never once break eye contact as my smile grows bigger the closer I get.
I stop walking and stand there kind of confused when jacob runs off. I lift an eyebrow at the pack but they shrug...or ignore me. My question is answered however when he comes running back in his human form.
As soon as I'm across the 'line' jacob crushes me in a bear hug and lift me off the ground.
"Woah! Jacob what are you doing?" I yell blushing but i don't struggle.
"What does it look like?" He says as he places me back down. He's never been so...publicly affectionate before.
Not that I mind! I'm just always awkward sooooo.
"Wow aidzuki doc must be magic or something you look way healthier a-and you're walking. By yourself." He says excitedly looking me over like an upgraded car.
"Yup I'm good as new...almost." I say wrapping my arm around him to support myself. He's still friend zoned so I resist the urge to nuzzle into his side.
He put his arm back around me to seeing that I began to wobble a bit.
"Mmm..i missed you." I said honestly relaxed, my eyes closed. He chuckles. "Missed you to zuki."
"Ew get a room." Rosalie mumbles.
"Aidzuki and Jacob sitting in a tree f-u-c- hey!" Emmet tries to sing but esme hits him upside the head. Good, I think my face flushing at what he was about to spell.
I blush and shake my head. I wish they would've stayed in statue mode. One of the wolves snorts at their antics, i'm guessing it's seth. Seeing as he knows how to let loose.
I also notice the wolves are less tense seeing the exchange but still on alert. But even a little progress is good progress. Though their back to being tense as another vampire joins.
"I see you all made it." Carlisle announces.
"As you know I am the one to have called this meeting. And I'm just gonna be blunt. I think the treaty needs to be discussed and a few changes made." He started out. Dang doc don't waste time.
There was a bit of unrest amongst the wolves. "Sam said that lifting the treaty is out of the question though they will hear us out." Edward says.
"Of course." Carlisle nods.
He takes an unnecessary breath "a while ago we met aidzuki and well we've become fond of him. Recently however it's came to our attention that his mate is one of your very own. And so we'd like to make travel between lands possible for the sake of his health." He stopped to take in any reaction, most of distaste at the idea.
Carlisle put his hands up "of course we won't be allowed to hunt on eachothers lands nor, unless we have permission, will we go to the reservation." Some of the wolves look at eachother and then the black wolf, sam, looks at edward.
"They wanna know what's in it for us." Edward relays.
"Nothing, this is purely for aidzuki's benefit. Nothing more nothing less. We wouldnt want to be kept away from our mates." He says grabbing esme's hand. She smiles up at him. I feel he meant to include the wolves and their imprints in that sentiment.
Sam looked around at his pack and then at jacob. They exchange Looks and Jacob nodded. He faces the cullens "So you're saying I can visit him whenever I want?"
Carlisle nods. "Please call before hand though."
"And if I wanted to stay overnight?" He asks I raise an eyebrow but remain quiet. Don't get any ideas buddy boy.
"Also possible but let's start with just visits for now." Carlisle answers. Jacob nods.
"Would it be possible to bring someone with me?" Jacob asks.
"We don't want anymore then one stray mutt in our house." Alice says calmly. Emmet snickers and rosalie nods "agreed."
"Alice!" Esme glares at her.
"Please excuse her. But if it would make you comfortable then by all means bring atmost two people with you." Carlisle says ignoring his families outburst.
"Well that sounds good to me." Jacob says smiling down at me. I return it shyly. "As long as I don't end up food." I glare and elbow him. Some of the cullens sneer.
Sigh, this is exactly what I meant.
Sam looks back over to edward. "He's a little hesitant. He's worried about jacob being out numbered. And potential incidents that could lead to...unfortunate events." Edward says.
Of course I knew what edward, or should i say sam, meant by 'unfortunate events'. I narrow my eyes at the insinuation. But i'm not foolish enough to think that it's not possible for jacob to be hurt or even killed on cullen land by their hands.
Plus the cullens weren't the only vampires around. If jacob were to be alone he could run into a group of them and not be able to fight them off. That alone was scary.
"I'll be fine, really. Even though I'd rather aidzuki not live with a bunch of blood suckers" I elbow jacob. "He does. Not like i can tell him what to do. But i can set aside my pride and hatred...just this once. I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize seeing him." Jacob finished.
I wanted to roll my eyes at the protective tone in his voice instead a happy smile took over my face at his words. He was willing to try and that was enough to make my insides warm.
"Besides since he can walk on his own two feet. It's not like i always have to go to the cullens territory. He can visit the rez to." I nod in agreement.
Sam follows suit, nodding his giant head in Carlisle's direction "Then it's settled. If you wish to visit this later then please do call. Aidzuki will you be coming back with us?"
I thought about it and then looked at jacob who was silently begging me. I sigh. "Nah I'll be home later though." Carlisle nods.
The cullens leave and the wolves file out soon after jacob leaves to get undressed and phase and comes to me and crouches. I climb on and we follow the rest back to the rez.

Unknown pov
I open my eyes blinking up at a wooden ceiling and finding that I'm obviously not in the dark cave I fainted in. I look down at my body to find a blanket over me. My body, which still ached a little was healed.
I sit up and fling the covers aside and find that I also have on clothes that are way to big for me.
While I am grateful that I've been well looked after by... whomever. I must leave and do what I came here to do. Though first I need to find out where I am. And quickly.
" Watashi wa kare ni keikoku shinakereba narimasen..." with that i explore this strange new place with the image of that sweat little boy.
"Koinu..."
