Aidzuki's pov
Snuggling down into Jacob's fur I couldn't help but smile in delight. The fact that both the pack and the cullens would be so nice and try to put their differences aside for jacob and i.
Not only that but jacob would gladly take their shit for me. But that's not saying I'm gonna let them just beat or put him down. No. No matter what Jacob's put me through i would never let anything happen to make him feel like I did.
Yes I've thought about ignoring him, yes I thought about putting him through hell. Not for revenge but just so he can fully understand what exactly I went through. I'm not gonna pretend like through that whole ordeal my feelings remained perfectly lovey-dovey.
There where times where I thought I should hurt him because of the pain I felt, times where I wished bad things would happen to him so that he'd die. The pain those thoughts caused were worth it. Some might even say therapeutic. But not like i meant them they always went back to 'jacob please love me' 'jacob please look at me' 'jacob please acknowledge my fucking existence' type thoughts.
It was like a Rollercoaster with jacob at the controls. Damn that's deep. I'm really deep now.

But here we are now I don't know what jacob thinks about anymore, we don't really talk about our thoughts like we used to. Me because I don't really trust jacob like i used to and Jacob because... well I don't know.
I look around at the rest of the wolves running around us and think maybe they have something to do with it. Or maybe they know what he is thinking. Since they do 'share one mind' basically. Maybe I should ask them.
Does he feel the same way I feel about him when it comes to trust? I didn't really do anything to my knowledge that would cause mistrust. Or does he suspect what I've been thinking in regards to him. He's always been good at knowing what I'm thinking.
I file those thoughts away for later. I'll ask the pack before my thoughts become toxic with more 'mate bond' anxiety.
Before we reached the rez jacob took a turn and started running in a different direction then the rest of the pack.
"Uh jacob?" I ask even though he couldn't answer. The giant wolf made a rumbling sound as if telling me not to ask questions. I pout and just wait to see where we go.
I didn't have to wait very long for i began to recognize the surrounding area. Oh, so that's where we're going.
I smile wide as we near the entrance of the cave after walking through the 'hallway' of leaves and vines. I wiggle impatiently on Jacob's back as we near the inner waterfall that flows from kami knows where.
Jake suddenly stops and sits on the ground causing me to slide down and plop on my bottom on cold hard rock.
"Itai baka!" I yell at him. He makes a weird sound that sounds like laughing and i glare intensely at him.
He disappears behind the water fall for a moment and it's as if he was never here to begin with. His smell disappears and so doesn't any sound i might here.
That's strange. But this place is strange by itself. I should really investigate it more. Based on the little cave you see at the entrance and the huge cliff at the exit this place shouldn't exist. Not to mention the different stone on each side of the waterfall. And how apparently the time of day doesn't match on either side. I'm willing to bet a sunset is on the other side of this waterfall unlike the sun that is high in the sky on this side.
The sun and moon also appear closer or bigger on the other side. At this thought a weird feeling rises in my chest. Jacob comes back in human form and looks at me weirdly.
"Why are you still on the ground ai?" He asks offering his hand. I shrug.
"Hey jacob have you ever thought about how weird this place is?" I say instead of answering.
To my disbelief he actually thinks about it! Like dude there are fireflies that glow blue in here! Mewosamasu!
"Well not really i usually come here to clear my head. I don't really pay attention when my thoughts are haywire. And I'm always tired when I leave. Actually the first time I brought you here was the first time I really paid attention." He explained.
I nod. I should come here alone again and look around sometime. I didn't get to swirl back into my conspiracy filled thoughts as jake grabs my hand and starts pulling me towards the waterfall.
"You think to much. Just enjoy it while we're here. We can look around next time." I blush as i looked at where his hand held mine I look away and pout. We pass through emerging wet on the other side.
"Fine. Promise?" I said once we're one the other side.
"Promise." He says not looking back. He leads me to the beach covered in sand that's nearly white and we sit down.
Like I predicted the sun is currently setting casting a beautiful glow over everything. Everything is the same as the last time we came here.
"I should've brought some food. Man I haven't eaten in three hours." Jacob says looking out at the distance.
"Three hours? I'm surprised you lasted thirty minutes." I snort. I look around. "Have you ever tried to catch something around here?"
Shifting to face me. "Nah, I haven't seen anything but bugs around here actually. Some pretty weird ones might I add."
Curious i incline my head in his direction "weird? Like weird how?"
"Hmm well there was this butterfly or ladybug thing I'd seen a couple of times before. For once it didn't glow like almost everything else here." That particular description hit a cord in me, the feeling it caused was more confusing then anything.
"Sounds beautiful." I say distractedly "should we try to catch something to eat then. I don't wanna be stuck with a hungry wolf."
"Oh, well I was hoping to talk a little. We didn't really catch up last time you were here. But whatever you want to do." Jacob says sincerely.
I'm far from talking about anything.
I nod and stand up, he follows soon after we walk to the waters edge and, using my sharp eyes, I search through the very clear water. It was mostly clear of life near the shore but there where a couple of shell fish and a...fish?
There was one 'fish' completely round and smooth. It used long crab- like legs to search the sand and one short quickly fluttering fin on its backside. On the 'fish's' face was six small Beedy black eyes and beneath a trunk like mouth slurping up anything that might scurry out from beneath it's sharp appendages.
I want it.
To be.
My pet.
But i'm not really one to take a wild creature out of a home it was born into. No matter how cute it is its home wasn't with me...or IS it?
"Aidzuki you're not keeping it." Jacob says not even taking his amazed eyes off it. He slowly starts to creep into the water. Was he gonna catch king slurpie?
He crept closer and i frantically looked around and spotted a rock. Picking it up quickly I threw it with the accuracy of an born archer right over the water where the 'fish' was disturbing the water and causing slurpie to retract their 'feelers' and scurry away quickly.
"FREEDOOOM!" I yell. Jacob looks back at me incredulously.
"Aidzuki wha- why- why did you do that?" He said a hint of surprise in his voice. His voice pitched up.
"Why did YOU try to catch king slurpie? Huh they were my friend jacob!" I said. Mind you I'm one hundred percent serious right now.
"King slu- WHAT!? You seen him like a second ago." He steps out of the water glaring at me.
"We made eye contact. They wanted me as a friend, I could tell. And how do you know they were a he? Hmmm." I question.
"You called hi- them KING. Kings are MALES. and if you make friends with everything so quickly why ask to hunt here. Like come on you have less mercy on deer." I opened my mouth to retort but nothing came out.
"Whatever? Ok. Me and slurp had a connection. And kings are whatever I want them to be. Slurp could of been a queen but king felt right." Jacob just shook his head and turned back to the water.
"Well don't look at anything else ok. I'd prefer to eat now." I roll my eyes and go to sit down and watch.
"Fine. You better catch something good for me to." Jacob waves me off and dives into the water after waddling through the shallows . I cross my arms over my chest and wait.
Thirty minutes later jacob resurfaces with a big smile. I get up and meet him at the shoreline. Impatient and hungry.
I glance down to where he has his hands behind his back. "Well what did you catch?" I said trying to look around him.
"Wait! Sit back down and let me show you." He laughs. I raise an eyebrow, still bent down from trying to see what he's holding. I nod and go back to where I sat.
Jacob follows behind me and once I sit down he crouches infront of me that adorable smile still in place. If I weren't so hungry I'd probably drool over the dripping wet wolf infront of me but I was to hungry to think about.
But trust me I noticed.
"These fish are so weird looking. But they were the only things I could find. They were in a hole in the sand. And-" Jacob goes on and on.
"Jake. Please my tummy can't take the torment!" I whine my head falling back. He pokes his lips out and blows out air. Taking his hands from behind his back holding two large eel like fish with wings...I think. The wings look kinda like hands. Only the hands had scales but the rest of the body was smooth. The whole body, wings included, are a dark grey-blue color.
The sight caused an image to flash inside of my head that was to quick to comprehend. I stared at the slightly wiggling 'fish' for a moment trying to make that image come back. I could've sworn I seen my sobo. But i'm not sure if it was her.
"Aidzuki?" I blink up at jacob. "I'm not sure about eating these. Like, they could be poisonous. Plus heh we can't build a fire." He looked around the beach and i did aswell. There were sticks and a few rocks but none that looked like they could make sparks.
I narrow my eyes at him "you've been here multiple times before and your telling me that THIS is the first time you actually looked at anything."
"There's not much to look at. I didn't think I'd end up trying to eat here. So I never noticed HOW different it was here. Maybe I should set them free..." He was about to turn and stand but i grab his wrist.
"No, they don't smell poisonous to me. Plus I have no problems eating raw meat. How about you?" I don't really know how their whole wolf thing works.
"I've never tried to before but...unlike you I'm mostly human. But i doubt I could die from something like salmonella or even get it." He said still looking unsure.
I take a fish from him and don't hesitate to bite into it. I choose to start with the hand-like wings on its back. Once the taste hits my tongue I freeze a familiar feeling overtaking my body.
Mmmmm.
"That good huh? Maybe I'll try it anyway. I'm so hungry I'd eat anything right now. Plus it's like sushi...I guess." He sits next to me and looks the fish up and down. I watch him inspect the fish for a long while before he brings it to his lips.
"Jacob, you're sure you can't get sick from eating this?" Jacob nods. "Since phasing there has been nothing able to make any of us sick." He takes a bite and I watch his expression turn thoughtful to surprised.
"That's actually good!" He says before digging in like a ravenous wolf. Hehe.
I smile and return to eating my own fish. I then remember something. "Oh jacob you wanted to talk about something right?"
He pauses and puts his almost finished meal down nodding all the while. He turns to me then looks away just as quickly. I raise an eyebrow but he just stares at the sun setting.
"I miss you." He says almost to low for me to hear. I tilt my head confused.
But...I'm right here? We've barely spent more then a day apart since 'making up'.
"I mean, I miss us. Being together together you know. Holding you and kissing you" Jake's eyes darken with sadness. "I know it hasn't been that long. And I've done nothing to earn your forgiveness. I just wanna be with you again."
"And you will." I said. He looked at me surprised. "Not right now. But jacob I'm yours, no one else's and it'll be like that forever. But i get this feeling sometimes that what if- what if you end up not wanting me again. Leaving me. How can we be together if I don't even trust you to do what's best for my heart. I'm healed physically but mentally or even emotionally...I'm just not ready jacob."
He looks ashamed and doesn't seem to wanna talk anymore. I place a hand on his shoulder to encourage him not to shut down. He breaths and looks forward again. "I never didn't want you. I wanted you even before I knew we were meant for eachother. Since we were younger. I don't know what I was thinking. Even now i can't believe I put you through so much pain. That i gave up fighting for you. For us. There's no excuse. I know that. I just thought you should know how much i missed being with you." Jacob almost seemed to curl in on himself and i hope i didn't make him feel insecure about his feelings.
"I miss being with you to." I said. He gave me an 'I know' look. I smiled and leaned over to place a quick peck on his cheek. He chuckled and blushed but it was better then seeing him sad.
"Hey, we should talk more often about this stuff. I don't want you to hurt in silence." I said and he nods. I couldn't give him what he wants but i could always listen.
The sun started going down and the stars were now visible it was getting late. "I should be heading home now." I announce. I Finnish my fish and burry the bones.
"Oh come on. Atleast eat dinner with me at my place. No way that fish filled you up it was a snack for me at best. The pack is gonna be there to. You guys should get closer before you become a complete vampire." Jacob says standing up.
"Please, being a wolf is literally in my blood." I laugh and Jacob does to.
"I'm just saying the wolves are your family to." Jacob says I nod "I know. Your right anyways I spend more valuable time with the cullens then the pack" I admit. But they weren't the most welcoming at first they have warmed up to me.
"Let's get going then!" Jacob says.
***15mins later***
Jacob and i approach his house noticing that it looked lively as expected. There were even some of the pack rough housing outside. It was paul and some new member. Was that seth!
Jacob bumped me "Yeah seth phased a while after harry passed away. Apparently he got into an argument with leah and well..." I nod.
The two shifters pause as they noticed us approaching seth ran over.
"Hey aidzuki long time no see! I heard that you're Jacob's imprint now." He says a big smile on his face. I giggle, wow he really radiates positive energy.
"Well you heard right. I see you're now apart of the pack." He nods his face brightening he then went on a rant about how awesome it was and how it was like a movie.
"Like i was mad, next thing I know I bust out of my skin and Leah's looking at me like." He mocks shock. "And then she phases and then i hear her voice, in my HEAD! She was all like."He made a serious face. "Calm down seth! It's ok."
I laugh at the young animated quailute as he continued ranting. I was then pulled into a side hug by a big sweaty paul. I was so shocked my face turned red and i stiffened.
"Hey aidzuki we were just wondering. Do you have a wolf form?" I looked up shyly at paul and seen him looking back very much serious.
"I-i- might I don't know for sure yet but I think I do." I stammered.
"That's good enough! Hey Jared I told you!" He yelled then ran in the house.
The rest of us followed and found the pack in the living room talking with billy. They greeted jacob and i as we pass by to sit down.
"I don't believe it. If you're more wolf then human and you have a wolf form then why don't you ever phase." Jared said suddenly.
"Oh I never said i-" I jump as Paul elbows me "Maybe he doesn't want to besides I asked him and he said yes give me those five bucks." He holds his hand out to jared.
I don't know which was more surprising the fact they were Talking about him while he wasn't around or the fact that they made a bet.
Leah leans forward "don't worry they do stupid things like this all the time." I nod with my lips pursed.
"I'm more interested in what would happen after he phases." Sam cut in. This gave everyone pause. What would happen?
"Like he might be able to hear our voice in his head and vice versa." Seth said. He seemed to like the whole mental communication thing.
"How would he look?" Said embry. I felt a little awkward being the center of attention.
"Well i could probably answer that one. Not everyone from my world phase but everyone from my clan specifically has. Our wolf forms aren't as big as yours but they are bigger then average wolves. And their colors can be anything. Even blue!" I was to young to learn about phasing so I don't know if it's a sure thing for me.
"Really! That's awesome!" Seth, the most vocal, exclaimed. I blush thoroughly flattered.
"Jacob can you please check on our guest. Doctor Carlisle. She hasn't made a sound yet so I'm guessing she's still unconscious." I realize that billy calling Carlisle well Carlisle and not leech or bloodsucker was a bit difficult. The name came out hesitantly.
Jacob nods tells me he'll be right back and stands. I find that I'm left alone at the mercy of his pack. I didn't mind at all anymore though. Nor did I mind the questions. They did say they wanted to know more about me.
I smile as i find myself trusting them a bit more.
Jacob's POV /)0o0(\
I do as I'm told and start the walk to my room. I pass by the kitchen to see Emily and Rachel slaving at the stove making the whole house smell delicious.
It gets quieter the closer I get to my room. When i'm right infront of the door about to grab the handle a feeling grips my chest like something wasn't completely right. I shake my head. I'm just being crazy.
I twist the knob and open the door. Of course I'm met with darkness but my eyes quickly adjust to it.
The bed...is empty.
Oh no. When did she wake up?! I switch the light on to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me even though it doesn't make much of a difference. And my bed was just as empty as before I feel a breeze and i look over to see my window is open. Damn.
I quickly walk out the room and back the the living room where the pack was still questioning aidzuki who was a blushing mess his hands were over his face. He's so cute.
Focus!
"Uh dad. That woman she's gone." I say a little panicked.
Everyone's eyes go wide and they immediately go into action. "We should find her quickly before something happens." Sam says and all the shifters rush outside.
"I'll help!" Aidzuki states sam just nods once in confirmation. Aidzuki follows us outside a serious expression in place.
"Leah & seth check north." They nod and began searching immediately.
"Embry & paul you go east." They speed away soon after receiving their order.
"Jacob & aidzuki. South." We nod and rush off. That leaves sam and Jared to go west.
I quickly strip down and phase I stop to let aidzuki on seeing as he's still getting used to being on his feet without help. I run through the forest all my senses open for any changes.
It's important that we find her because she doesn't know our world all that well and with the threat of Victoria still looming she could end up in danger. Not only that but she was from aidzuki's home meaning she has abilities and could hurt somebody do to a miscommunication seeing as she couldn't possibly know a lick of english. She could reveal herself to the wrong person and us or even the cullens could be in danger.
"I hope she didn't go far." I hear aidzuki say. I grunt in agreement.
We make it to clearing and i pick up a scent. "I think she might be here." The pale boy whispers. He jumps down and we part ways to cover more ground.
'Guys I think we found her. Her scent is all over this clearing' I say through the link.
They all respond to let me know they heard. I continue searching. When I reach a tree with a hollow base I smell that her scent is strongest here. I move in closer.
A menacing growl greets me when I'm nearly inside I jump back as a clawed hand swipes at me. 'I found her!'
I step back but don't leave so that if she does run I know where she goes. I have to somehow let aidzuki know so he could possibly talk to her. If I phase she might get away.
I decide to howl so everyone knows where I am and can come help hopefully aidzuki gets the message.
Aidzuki's pov
I hear jacob howl from the opposite direction and immediately know that he's found her. I walk since i'm unable to run much to where I heard jacob howl.
I find him sat at the base of a tree a familiar scent coming from it. He walks of, probably to phase so we can talk. I kneel at the opening and try to peer inside and a growl emits from inside. I jump back.
"Tōzakeru!" She snarls. Of course she speaks Japanese.
"Daijōbuda yo. Watashitachi wa anata o kizutsuketaku arimasen." I say gently. Her growling ceased for a second or so before starting up again.
Jacob comes back in his human form adorned in his usual cut off shorts. "How so it going?"
"She doesn't want us near her. I think I can get her out though." I get closer jacob trying to follow but i shake my head.
I go back to kneeling and i hold out my hand "Kon'nichiwa, watashinonamaeha aidzukidesu. Watashi o shinjite." I was met with a gasp.
Then she came out.
