The next day finally came, and Miia's shift at the shrine crawled by at the aching pace of a snail. Miia chewed at her nails, every now and then checking the time. Finally, she saw Draco approaching, wearing her typical overcoat, and actually looking extremely handsome.

As Draco walked into the shrine courtyard, she didn't even get the chance to wave before Miia had embraced her in a constricting hug. Blushing and flustered, Draco whimpered, "Uh, h-hey Miia. You okay…?"

Miia smiled as she looked up to Draco. "I'm fine. Just happy to see you. How are you today, Draco my dear?"

Draco's face flushed red brighter than Miia's hair as she tensed, utterly enthralled by Miia's gorgeous eyes. Trying to steady her lips, Draco squeaked out, "Oh, uh…I-I'm fine, I guess…"

Miia giggled and nuzzled into Draco's neck. "Good to hear. I've just got a few more minutes of my shift. I'm gonna ask the priest if I can leave, then we'll head over to your place~" Miia cooed with a seductive tone and a smirk.

Miia slithered off to find her boss, leaving Draco to fume and fluster in silence, the ambiance of rustling leaves in the dry summer breeze enveloping her. What exactly was Miia's game?

Miia came slithering back to Draco with a grin and a pep to her…slithering. "I'm all set to go!" Miia said, linking her arm with Draco's as she passed, pulling the dragon along. Despite the fact that Miia was pulling Draco, she let Draco guide them to her home stay. As they walked down some of the busier streets, they caught the eyes of many people, especially couples. Both their ears caught plenty of envious remarks; "What a cute couple!" "That's one lucky lizard guy," "Are there any extra species people that aren't gorgeous?"

It wasn't long before Draco picked up her pace more than Miia's, attempting to get them to her place quicker, and to hide her blush from Miia. Not long after, the pair arrived at a rather basic looking apartment building. Draco buzzed them in and lead Miia up a couple flights of stairs.

Draco stopped at the door, shoved her hands into her pockets, looked to the floor, and shuffled her feet. "So, uh, Miia…" she said, a bit of disdain laden her voice, "I should warn you about my host. He's…" Draco couldn't keep herself from growling a bit in her throat.

Miia promptly smacked Draco's arm, not enough to inflict real pain, but hard enough to make her point. "You misjudged my Darling before. I understand you have a prejudice toward men, and understandably so, humans as well. But tell me this: how many real conversations and interactions have you had with your host?" Miia kept her tone and gaze level yet stern. She felt like she was beginning to act like Cerea and Rachnee. Was that a bad thing? She wasn't sure anymore. Nevertheless, she felt this was necessary with Draco, given her history. Before she wanted to put Draco in a trance or alter her love life, Miia wanted to help Draco achieve a better self, just as she had.

Draco blushed and bit her lip. "W-well…I guess, I…I haven't really talked to him much. Every time he tried to talk to me, I…I couldn't help but shut him out."

Miia nodded. "Alright then. Can you do something for me, Draco?" Miia now put her hands on Draco's shoulders, getting just a few inches closer to her.

Draco gulped, her heart beating quicker as she nodded.

Miia smiled, "Give your host a chance. Get to know him a little better. If he's as terrible as you think, tell me, and I'll have Smith relocate you. But if he isn't…if he's a decent guy…just give him a chance to be your friend."

"But what if he wants to be…more than my friend? What if he only applied for an exchange student so he could have a cute girl stay with him?"

Miia shrugged. "Then you can leave, and forget all about him. But if he really was that shallow, I think you would have left already. You know, deep down, he can't be all bad." Miia looked deep into Draco's eyes and knew what she said to be true.

Draco sighed deeply and tried to avert her eyes from Miia's. "Fine…I'll give him a chance I guess…but only for you." With a sour pout (that Miia found somewhat cute), Draco opened the door and strode in. Inside the apartment was dark, with almost no lights on and the curtains closed. The kitchen was cluttered but clean, while floor to ceiling everywhere else was covered in some form of memorabilia; posters, figurines, games, stands, props galore, all from media that Miia was unfamiliar with. I'm the corner of the dark living room sat a desk with three monitors, all alight with a shooting game, being played by a man in a chair with an enormous headset, his back turned to the girls as they entered. Miia was certainly shocked by the environment, but still didn't see Draco's prejudices.

Noticing the opening of the door, the occupant of the chair took off their headset and turned around. "Ah, Draco, you're back!"

"Hey…Sato." Draco grumbled.

Sato was a very short and skinny man, with intense Japanese features, shirt cut hair, a trimmed mustache and goatee, and thin square glasses. Miia took special note of his quirky grin and his anime girl t-shirt.

Sato hopped off his chair and scuttled over to Miia, grinning the whole time. "Wow, a Lamia! This is awesome! I've never met any extraspecies other than Draco and her friend Lilith. She doesn't tell me much, so I'm sorry to say I don't know your name. But, I'm Sato Harrito, Draco's host." Sato held his arm outward and upward toward Miia, looking at her with interest and curiosity, more so than the normal passerby.

Miia chuckled a bit and held her hand out, shaking his, which she noticed was quite a bit sweaty. "Hello, Sato. I'm Miia, Draco and I have known each other for just a little while." Miia could now understand some of Draco's prejudices toward him, though he didn't seem too bad.

"Well," Sato said with a bow and a smile, "how long will you be here, Miia? I'd be happy to make dinner for you both! I offer dinner to Draco all the time, but she doesn't like to eat with me."

"Oh, shut it!" Draco snapped, promptly followed by a smack to the back of her head from Miia's tail. Draco simply folded her arms and growled.

Miia smiled politely to Sato and said, "I wish I could, but I have to be back to my host house for dinner. I have a date tonight. But, I do think Draco would like to have dinner with you."

Draco turned to Miia to glare, but Miia avoided her gaze. Sato chuckled, "well, knowing Draco, I doubt that. But, the offer always stands. I can't make anything special, but as long as you're under my roof, I'm happy to make for you what I can, Draco-San." Sato gave a small bow, his giddy smile never leaving.

Draco clicked her tongue and sighed. "Yeah yeah, whatever. Can we go to my room now, Miia?"

Miia giggled as Draco tugged on her arm, "Well, it was very nice to meet you, Sato. I'll see you later!" Miia finally let Draco pull her along, quickly being whisked away into Draco's bedroom.

Miia giggled as Draco rushed them into her room, closing the door behind them. "He seems pleasant, Draco. Although I can see where you would get your notions from. He's…a definite otaku, and maybe a dork. But he's nice."

Draco scoffed. "Yeah, well…I just don't wanna give him the wrong idea. I'm not even into guys anyway…"

Miia sighed and shook her head. "I'm well aware of that, Draco. If that's what you're worried about, just take baby steps then. But I really think you could be missing out on a worthwhile friendship with him, at the least."

Draco gave Miia a quizzical look and said, "how can you know that?"

Miia shrugged. "How can you know that it won't be? There's no knowing. It's just taking a chance. That's what I did with you, and now, I like to think we're good friends."

Draco's eyes lit up for a moment, then she seemed to deflate. As she slowly sat down onto her bed, she said, "But…we're just friends, huh?"

Miia felt all her momentum come to a screeching halt. She'd now arrived at the one conversation she wanted to avoid if possible. If she were to hypnotize Draco right now, it just wouldn't sit well with her. Sighing, Miia slowly sat on the edge of the bed next to Draco. The pair of them both looking down at their laps, or the floor, the tension in the room filling the space more than words. "Draco…" Miia said slowly, keeping Draco's feelings at the forefront of her mind, just like Rachnee and Mero told her. "I recently had to change myself. I fell in love with Mero, even though I already loved my Darling. You have no idea how hard it was to grow myself, and my heart to accept the love I felt for Mero too. To even try to fit you into my heart, in that way, too…I couldn't do it. I wouldn't be able to love you the way you love me. I don't want to do that to you. You deserve someone who can return your affection to you exactly the same, and as fun as you are…I'm just not that person for you. And I say all of this with you in mind. I want to see you grow, and become more, and discover more of yourself; and to do that, you have to move beyond me."

Draco sat nervously, feeling pinned by Miia's eyes and weighed by her words. She felt shattered, and yet, a part of her knew that this was going to happen. "I…I don't know what to do," Draco whimpered out, knowing nothing else to say. Though she was hurt, she refused to drop her pride now and cry. "I don't know how to move on when I have all this pain…" Draco didn't even think before speaking. Then again, there was always something so easy about talking to Miia.

Miia didn't know how to help. She didn't know what to say. She hated this; the feeling of having no choice but hurt someone she cared about. At least twice now she'd been on this side of things, but never the opposite. She had to reject both Draco and Layah's feelings, enjoying it no more with repetition. Perhaps now then was the time to initiate her plan, and to hopefully free Draco of her pain. There was still some trepidation in Miia, but seeing the pain written on Draco's face spurred Miia's resolve. "Draco…I have a way to help you." She said, her tone soft and low, almost as if she had been defeated as well.

Draco's jaw quivered, but she didn't, couldn't look up to meet Miia's eyes. "Yeah..? What's that?" It took every bone in Draco's body to keep her from turning her pain into anger.

"Look at me, please," Miia cooed, trying to pour more honey into her voice. She gently put her fingers under Draco's chin, directing her gaze upward. Stubborn though her gaze appeared, Draco had no resistance as soon as Miia's fingers met her skin.

Draco blinked back a tear as she met eyes with Miia, who seemed in no less pain. At least she knew Miia wasn't enjoying hurting her. Before Draco could say anything else, Miia's eyes burst into colors, a rainbow flowing out of her pupils and filling Draco's view. She couldn't stop herself from staring at the spirals; they brought her pleasure, felt so soothing, and a sense of dejavu that Draco couldn't identify. In seconds, Draco felt her mind slipping away. All her pain and confusion disappeared as the spirals took their place, filling Draco with contentment.

Miia sighed and let a small smile onto her lips as she saw Draco succumb so easily to her spell. "I need you to listen to me now, Draco," Miia said with as soft a tone as she could. She held one hand to Draco's cheek as her tail gently and slowly wrapped it's way around Draco's waist. "Visualize your emotions. See them in your mind. Focus on them." Miia made every word she said concise and clearly spoken. "Now, what I want you to do…" Miia hesitated for a moment. She didn't want to hurt anyone any further in doing this. And if it didn't work perfectly, the outcome could be awful…after biting her lip a bit too hard, Miia came up with her final plan, "I want you to gather all your feelings for me. All your love for me. Pull it all into one spot; see it. Then, with all that, you're going to do whatever you want to do with me. If you want to kiss me, kiss me. But with every action, you will burn through your love for me, like wood in a fire. Do you understand me, Draco?"

Draco slowly nodded as the commands went through her mind. "Yes…I understand, Mistress."

"Good," Miia nodded, pulling Draco closer to her, "now, this is very important: as you burn through your love and attachment to me, you're going to let all that potential change. Let it change so that your heart will be open and able to love someone else. Do you understand that?"

Draco had to think for a moment, but eventually she nodded, her entranced smile never fading. "Yes, I get it, Mistress. I have to let go of you, and use all my energy and passion I had for loving you on loving someone else!"

Miia smiled, "Perfect! But I want you to make sure that the next person you love is better than me; better for you. Someone who can return your love and passion in full."

Draco nodded again, "Yes, Mistress."

Miia smiled and sighed. She knew Rachnee, or Cerea, or probably even Mero would chastise her for using hypnosis as the easy way out of a tough situation. But Miia just couldn't stand the thought of Draco in all that pain…she wanted to be able to repay all of Draco's affections in this one small favor at least, of nothing more than sparing her. Besides, if she played things right, she could kill two birds with one stone. "Now, Draco, sweetie. You can do whatever you want to your Mistress. Any dreams or fantasies you ever had about me are now before you. I'm yours."

The smile that shined on Draco's face seemed to Miia more than just a product of the trance; Draco looked genuinely happy. And even though Miia did not share Draco's feelings, she was glad to be bringing her joy, in a way that they would both enjoy.

Draco wasted no time, quickly dropping her jacket as she kept onto Miia, engaging in a powerful and passionate kiss. Though Miia was surprised by her speed, she had no problem reciprocating the fervor. As Miia and Draco kissed, both their hands were at work undressing one another, breaking only for a moment to fully strip all garments. Once nude, Miia sat up, posing and swaying her hips and chest, enticing Draco with all her sensual glory. Draco responded with a hungry growl and once more kissed Miia. Her scaled hands roamed Miia's sublime body, extracting coos and mewls from Miia, who in response wrapped her coils around Draco's tail, rubbing it gently, then slipping her own tail in between Draco's legs. Draco gasped sharply, grinding into Miia's tail as she began to descend from Miia's lips, kissing and sucking her way down Miia's neck and onto her chest.

Miia tossed her head back as Draco's lips tenderly yet eagerly met her nipples. Miia's head began to spin with thought; what had happened to her? It was not all that long ago she couldn't imagine letting anyone but Darling touch her, and now she had slept with every one of her housemates except for him, and was adding more to that list. She was confident that this was the right way to help Draco…so she hoped. It wasn't necessarily a guilt that settled into her heart, but Miia didn't know what else to call the feeling. She surmised that it was nothing more than a hope that she was indeed doing the right thing. Miia's pleasure-driven stupor was broken as Draco ceased her love making on Miia's breasts. Looking down again, Miia saw Draco, eyes spiraling, smile soft and happy, looking up to Miia while snuggled into her tits, holding Miia closely.

"Mistress…may I just…hold you for a moment?" Draco's voice was so soft; she sounded so much more feminine than her usual tone. It was absolutely adorable to see her at such ease.

Miia smiled, relinquishing her tail from Draco's soaking pussy, letting it settle on her supple ass. Petting Draco's hair, Miia cooed, "hold me as long as you wish, sweetie. We're doing whatever you want." Miia really prayed this was the right thing…because looking into Draco's eyes, hearing her dreamy, happy voice, Miia couldn't imagine this being wrong.

For over an hour, the love making went back and forth like this, from tender and soft, to carnal and full of desire. The two did just about any and every sexual act that both their bodies enabled. Throughout it all, Miia gained another level of appreciation for Draco's lithe body; she was toned and muscular, with still just a little femininity in the places that matter, with a cute bounce to her petite boobs and such a grabbable ass. Miia made sure she had just as much fun as Draco did. Until finally, Draco was lying on her back, panting and sweaty, holding Miia's tail above her cooch. "Please Mistress…" she panted, her eyes still spinning away with colors as they looked deep into Miia's, "I want you…to put it in…"

Miia looked deep into Draco's eyes. From she had told her at their sleepover, Miia knew Draco wasn't a virgin, but still…something about this was irreconcilable to Miia. "Draco…I can't do that. That's something you should do with someone more special than me…"

Draco, while under hypnosis, had no choice but to agree. After one last bout of kissing, Draco was finally spent; she told Miia she had burned through all of her love and desires, just as she had been told. For a while, Miia just held Draco to her and snuggled her, both of them riding out their afterglow. "Draco..?" Miia asked with trepidation.

Draco looked at Miia, smile tired and drained, but persistently gleeful. "Yes, Mistress?" Even her tone conveyed just how much energy they'd expended.

"Will we…do you still want to be my friend, after this? I mean…when you wake up?" Miia hadn't really been friends with Draco for long, but even still, the idea of just walking away from one another made Miia feel cold.

Draco looked pensive and confused for a moment. "Of course I do, Mistress," she said with her head cocked, "why wouldn't I want to be your friend?"

Miia was somewhat baffled, but far too worn out to try to explain it all to the hypnotized girl. Perhaps she had nothing to worry about after all. Then again, Miia didn't think that would stop her from worrying. Miia smiled at Draco and nodded. "Alright then Draco…time to wake you up, sweetie. Look me in the eyes please." Miia grabbed Draco's cheeks gently and pulled their faces close while she started her hypnosis.

Draco stared intently as Miia spoke, "Alright Draco, when I kiss you, you're going to wake up. You aren't gonna remember what happened, but you're still going to feel the same way you do now: you aren't in love with me anymore, but we're going to remain friends. Understand?"

Draco nodded as much as she could without breaking eye contact.

Miia sighed. "Alright…" leaning forward, Miia softly plants her lips to Draco's, for the final time.

Draco's eyes fluttered open as she pulled away from Miia. She blinked slowly, a feeling of fog washing away on her mind. "Miia…?" She said slowly. Then shivering, Draco hugged her arms to herself, taking a second to realize she was naked. "W-What happened?!" Draco blushed, trying to keep her eyes off of Miia's naked body.

Miia pursed her lips. Draco didn't seem to be acting differently…perhaps it didn't work? Or maybe the effects took time to set in? Either way, Miia had to come up with an excuse for their nudity. "Oh…you don't remember? Goodness Draco. You were upset, so I held you, and you eventually fell asleep. I took off your coat and pants because they didn't seem very comfortable, and…I must admit, I got carried away…I stripped us both so that we could enjoy each other's heat better. I hope…that doesn't upset you.." Miia bit her lip and played up the cuteness to sell the act.

Draco shivered once more and shrugged, still covering herself. "I guess… I don't mind." She looked to the floor to collect her clothes as a thought crossed her mind. "Funny…I feel a lot better than when I passed out. I'm not upset anymore…" Draco couldn't put a finger on exactly what she felt now.

Miia smiled and pat Dracos back gently. "Good. That was my hope. So are we…good now?"

Draco smiled at Miia through a blush. "Yeah…I think we're good."

The two then quickly get dressed, both of them much more at ease. Sitting back on the back, an awkward minute passes in silence once more before Draco hops up, saying, "I'm kinda hungry…how bout we make some snacks, then turn on a movie?"

Miia smiles and stands as well. "That sounds perfect."

The rest of the afternoon passed like a breeze. The pair sat on the bed and watched a favorite comedy of theirs, and every time Miia glanced at Draco, she wasn't met with leering eyes of desire anymore; just the happy face of a friend, content to be by her side. And that was all Miia needed to be content.

When it was finally time for Miia to leave, she gave Draco a tender embrace. She smiled as she let her heart finally ease. "Oh, Draco. Layah asked me if I would show her around town tomorrow. Would you like to join us? I'll be bringing Mero as well."

Draco's heart beat just a little faster at the mention of the exotic and mysterious Lamia, making her blush. "L-Layah? Um, s-sure, yeah, I'll come with you…"

Miia noticed Draco's obvious reaction to Layahs name and snickered. "Perfect! Meet me at the pier at five then." Miia gave Draco another quick kiss on the cheek, to which Draco's reaction wasn't much more than a smile and a mild blush.

Then, with a farewell, she was off.

After closing the door behind Miia, Draco felt her cheek. It was odd…she didn't feel anything when Miia kissed her. Even when thinking of being naked with the beautiful Lamia, her mind stayed calm. Peculiar, Draco thought. It seemed as though someone simply…took her feelings for Miia away. They were still friends, certainly, but all the pain, all the obsession, all the infatuation was gone, without a trace. Draco surmised that their conversation had just taken hold in her mind, and shrugged it off. Miia had met both her soulmates. Now it was time for Draco to move on and seek her real one.

————

Miia trudged home, content with her work, and her time with Draco, but oh so worn out and exhausted. There was only three things rotating through Miia's mind as she opened the door: some of Darling's hot cooking, a warm bath, and snuggling up to-

"Oh, Miia, you're home!"

Miia had to brace herself against the door frame as Mero threw her arms around Miia's neck and jumped onto her. Miia giggled and reciprocated the hug once she gained her balance. "Well hello to you too, my Little Mermaid."

Mero cooed and snuggled into Miia's neck. "I've missed you, Mistress," she whispered into Miia's ear, making her shiver. "I've been so horny for you all day~"

Before Miia could even think of a response, both her and Mero heard Darling call from down the hall, "oh, hi Miia. How was work?"

Miia gave a wistful smile as she set Mero back in her wheelchair. Smiling to Darling as she turned Mero around, Miia said, "Hello Darling. Work was just fine. But I'm extremely tired and hungry." She pouted a bit, rubbing her stomach and making Mero giggle.

"Well then," Darling said, "I'll go draw you a bath. Rachnee is putting dinner on the table."

Miia smiled wide and sang, "Thank you Darling~" and as Darling walked away to start the bath, Miia gave his butt a nice squeeze with her tail.

Darling jumped in surprise and blushed, but figured it was better not to say anything, simply getting to the bathroom as fast as he could.

Miia giggled as she continued on to the dining room, seeing Rachnee put out a large dish of spaghetti, next to a bowl of broccoli, and one of garlic bread. It was rather unusual for Darling to cook anything other than Japanese food, so Miia raised a brow to Rachnee and asked, "did you cook this Rachnee? It looks delicious."

Rachnee smirked and shrugged, a hand on her hip as she retorted, "I like Italian. It comforts me."

"Fair enough," Miia said with a shake of her head and a chuckle. Taking her seat, Miia pulled Mero as close to her as she could, quickly wrapping their tails together.

As the other girls trickled into the room, Mero leaned into Miia's ear and whispered, "so Mistress, how'd it go with Draco? I hope you at least made off on good terms."

As Rachnee began making plates, Miia smiled and leaned into Mero, whispering back, "better than that. I smoothed everything over and made my point very clearly. After that, we had a relaxing afternoon, and left with a hug. She's gonna come with us tomorrow to show Layah around." Miia held her head high with a proud smile.

Mero furrowed her brow. "Miia…you did just have a normal chat with Draco, right..? You didn't…use your hypnosis or anything?"

Miia's smile faltered a bit. She couldn't lie to Mero…but then, what would a white lie hurt, if all ended well with Draco anyway? "Well…It was a chat, yes. I…might have…used my hypnosis to numb her pain while I explained to her that we weren't meant for each other. She understood, and after I explained to her that she was amazing and would make another girl extremely lucky, all was well." So Miia didn't tell Mero the whole story, but she didn't lie to her.

Mero gave Miia a skeptical look, then shook her head and sighed. "I suppose if all ended well…"

Darling came back from the bathroom and sits down next to Miia, taking his plate and saying, "the bath is ready for you whenever you're done eating, Miia."

Miia smiled and put her hand atop his, "thanks Darling!"

Everyone begins eating and talking amiably, with the compliments to Rachnee's cooking flying, giving Rachnee a smirk. Miia was even surprised by just how good the spaghetti was, rich with meatballs, and even so good as to make the broccoli bearable. Miia ate somewhat ravenously, though still maintained manners. She scooped a large bite of noodles, then slurped the long, soft, sauce laden noodles into her waiting maw, then sensually licking her lips with her elongated tongue. Picking up another meatball, she first wrapped her tongue around it, pulling it into her mouth and humming as she savored every second of eating it. Now noticing that she had closed her eyes in the bliss of eating, Miia opened them and took a deep breath, then taking notice of the table: everyone was staring at her. Everyone's faces were bright red, while Mero looked dreamy and was practically drooling, Darling's nose had a drop of blood coming from it, and Rachnee had a knowing smirk as she licked her lips.

Miia blushed, shrinking back a bit as she giggled sheepishly. Noticing she had some sauce on her lip still, she unconsciously put her finger to her face, wiping it off. Once more without a thought, she slid the finger into her mouth, licking the sauce off, then pulled it out slowly, and with a wet pop.

Mero couldn't stop a moan. Darling has to get a napkin for his nose. Papi and Suu stared on with intrigue and awe. Looking to one another, then giggling, they both picked up their forks and began to eat in the same manner; slowly slurping the noodles, adding unneeded diligence to eating the meatballs, and making a show of cleaning their faces.

"H-hey!" Darling sputtered, "girls, don't eat like that!" He was starting to sound like his old self again. Miia couldn't think of the last time she saw him blushing and flustering at the other girls.

Suu tilted her head, adorable and confused. "Why not, Master?" She cooed.

"Yeah," Papi chimed in, turning her head as well, "we're just copying Miia, and you didn't yell at her!" Papi called out with indignance, pointing a wing at Miia.

Darling halted, his finger half pointed as he slowly looked to Miia. He was completely at a loss. "N-nevermind," he surrendered as he looked into his lap, "just don't make a mess."

Miia and Mero shared a giggle, Rachnee huffing and Papi and Suu continuing their shenanigans.

Once dinner concluded, Papi and Suu were made to help with the dishes, while Miia whisked Mero away to the awaiting bath. The pair weren't in the bathroom an entire minute before they had both stripped and started making out in the tub.

"Oh Mero…" Miia moaned as she raked her fingers through Mero's shimmering hair, "I've needed this." She laughed to herself as Mero smiled, kissing Miias cheek and neck.

"I've needed it too, Mistress. It's been too long since just you and I had a good fu-"

Mero was interrupted by a knock on the door, "E-excuse me, Miia, may…might I…be permitted to enter..?"

Miia gave an apologetic look to Mero as she snuggled into her more, "of course Lala, come on in." Truthfully, Miia was a bit glad of the intrusion. She knew Mero desperately wanted her, but she had so many orgasms with Draco earlier she didn't think she had anymore in her. Of course, she couldn't say no to her Mermaid Princess though.

The door slowly creaked open as Lala stepped in. She was blushing intensely as she walked slow, holding a towel over the front of her beautifully nude blue form. "Wouldst thou mind…if I…joined you?"

Miia smiled, absolutely loving the bashful and adorable look Lala took on. Before she answered however, she first turned to Mero. "What do you say, Mero? Can Lala join us?"

Mero looked Lala up and down, a hunger in her eyes Miia was unfamiliar with. "She absolutely can. Come on in Lala, the water is perfect."

Miia smiled and kissed Mero on the cheek.

Lala hesitantly dropped the towel, revealing her full body to Miia and Mero, who both stared in awe and appreciation as Lala sensually slipped a long, lithe leg into the water, soon followed by her entire body as she submerged up to her neck.

With all but her head now invisible under the water, Lala blushed, her white hair floating around her elegantly. "I have felt longing, once more, lady Miia…" Lala said slowly, unable to look either girl in the eye, "longing for…your company. I was wondering if you…and lady Meroune as well…would grant me your companionship."

Mero raised a bemused smile. "I thought you'd said that dullahan did not require friends."

Lala blushed and whimpered. "Please do not remind me…I'm embarrassed enough…but I am not asking this as a reaper of souls and bringer of death…I am asking…as Lala, your housemate."

Miia and Mero shared a look, then gave soft smiles. They both slowly swam to Lala, sitting on either side of her. Their tits bobbed in the water, now at eye level with Lala and very close to her face as Miia said, "we'd be happy to give you company Lala. Just…please, please, please keep your head attached."

Lala blushed incredibly, her face turning a lovely purple hue as she nodded slowly.

Miia smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Now, what kind of company would you like?" Miia raised a brow and brought her chest closer to Lala, her breast nearly touching Lala's face.

Her blush only deepened as Lala said, very monotone, "I do not desire any sexual relief this night, though your offer tempts even a god…" Lala's tone faltered now as she looked down at the water, "I wish only for the company of…those I trust."

Mero smiled and put her hand on the back of Lala's head gently, sliding down so her chest was now under the water. "And that we can provide."

Miia followed suit, with then both of them taking one of Lala's arms and slowly raising her so they all sat at the same level.

Lala, though remaining stoic and strong in face, couldn't shake the warmth off of her cheeks. With her hair damp, skin glistening with water, steam rolling around her, and no cloth impeding view of her face, Lala looked as regal and beautiful as royalty.

Miia couldn't believe that it took her this long to notice just how truly beautiful each of her housemates were; not in their bodies, or their sexual appeal, but the individual beauty each of their visages held. Lacing her arm and hand into Lala's, she snuggled up to her side, followed by Mero. Both moved slowly, making certain Lala was comfortable. Miia gave an apologetic smile to Mero, reaching across the tub with her tail to wrap around Mero.

Mero, ever the Saint, just smiled back at Miia, her tail flipping happily as she reached a hand to hold Miia's.

"The two of you have a most interesting love," Lala suddenly said, her eyes now open as she looked at the pair's intertwined hands. Met with shocked and perplexed gazes, she continued, "As a dullahan, I can see the soul - both of yours are joined. Though, it is not akin to any other love I've seen before. True and pure as it may be, it is stretched, and strained."

Miia furrowed her brow. "What do you mean…strained?" She didn't know if she could look at Mero right now, just staring raptly at Lala.

Lala continued in her deadpan, "Your secrecy. You both love each other, and both love the housemaster. Yet, you fear informing him of your bond. It causes strain. More than that even, I see secrecy amongst the two of you. You omit truths to one another. The pain of lying to your true love leaves an unmistakable mark on the soul."

Miia gulped, now looking at Mero with unease. She only found comfort in the reciprocation of concern from Mero.

"However," Lala said, taking note of their confusion, "it is still such a radiant love. One so young and vibrant, yet strong. I greatly hope that I might witness it grow further." Lala now let the tiniest hint of a smile slip onto her face.

Miia sighed a bit, now lying her head on Lala's shoulder. "Do you want love, Lala?" Miia wanted to distract from the guilt piling in her stomach by voicing a curiosity.

Though still nervous, Mero couldn't deny she too wished to hear Lala's answer, and so leaned in closer to her as well.

Lala blinked, now her turn to be bewildered. "I am a harbinger of death. I long for nothing but fulfillment of my duties. Love is not something I can achieve."

"But, you desired companionship," Mero said softly, "meaning you do want relationships with others."

Miia nodded, "love doesn't always have to be romantic either, Lala. Maybe you'll meet someone who becomes your greatest friend, that you'll love with all your heart. It doesn't have to be someone in this house; there's a whole world in which you can find love." Miia tenderly squeezed Lala's hand, then Mero's.

Lala looked down at the water, a pensive expression written on her. "I…A reaper cannot have love. No matter whom I find, I will inevitably have to guide even their soul to the afterlife. Therefore, dullahan were not made with the ability to love."

"Are you sure?" Miia said, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Why would someone without the ability to feel love and connection seek out the company of friends?"

Mero giggled and slid an arm around Lala's back. "Face it Lala. A dullahan or not, being in this house, this…family has changed you. Maybe you can find love now."

Lala's gaze did not shift, her golden eyes locked onto the water. She stayed like this, utterly consumed in thought, for nearly three whole minutes. Miia and Mero stayed silent for her the entire time. Now looking up and turning in Mero's direction, she spoke. "You, Meroune. You changed. You abandoned your tragic desires in pursuit of a truer happiness." Lala now turned to Miia, "And you, Miia. You too have betrayed your nature, and converted jealousy into love for every member of this house." Lala's head slowly turned to once more face in front of her, face giving away no detail of her thoughts. "Perhaps then…perhaps too, even a dullahan, has the capacity to change their nature. For the right soul."

Miia and Mero looked to one another and smiled, weary but genuine.

For the remainder of their time in the bath, Lala's mind thought of only one thing: the fledgling zombie girl, Yuuhi. It was certainly no romantic attraction, but Miia had said that wasn't necessary. Perhaps, Lala thought, perhaps there was a hint of love in her undead heart.

When the trio had their fill of soaking in the bath, they quickly dried themselves and exited. While Miia put Mero into her wheelchair, she felt Lala gently tap her shoulder. Turning around to see Lala clutching her towel tightly to her chest, Miia sighed. "Mero, can you go to my room and wait for me? I'll be up in just a minute."

Mero smiled and kissed Miia's nose. "You got it, Mistress. Goodnight Lala."

Lala have a very weak wave as Mero rolled off to Miia's room.

"Alright Lala," Miia said as cordially as she could, "what's up?"

Lala blushed, pulling her towel up to her face. "I wish to thank you, Miia…I do not know why I felt such an urge to be near someone tonight…and I apologize for squandering your time with your love. I recognize I may have…raised some tension between you. But I simply must express my gratitude to you both for being with me."

Miia smiled wistfully and shook her head. "Don't worry about it, Lala. I've spent time in the bath with everyone else in the house. I'm happy to help you cure your loneliness." Miia leaned forward and gave a soft kiss to Lala's cheek, then waved, "goodnight, Lala. And don't ever hesitate to ask any other time you need company."

As Miia turned to leave, she was stopped by a pair of blue arms wrapping around her waist. She felt Lala pull their bodies close together, her head nestled into Miia's damp hair. Miia could feel the slow, deep breaths Lala was taking against her back. Signing, Miia puts her hands on top of Lala's, then wrapped her tail around Lala's waist in an awkwardly positioned hug. No words were spoken and none were needed. Miia waited for

Lala to relinquish, letting her take all the time she needed. Finally, when Lala's arms went slack, Miia turned and gave her a warm kiss, locking eyes for a tender moment, before she slithered off to her room with veiled haste.

Lala retired to her chamber as well, entirely satisfied with her time of companionship, and now pondering her own nature.

Miia slithered to her room without any haste. What Lala had said was plain as day, undeniable. She had lied to Mero, and it was hurting their relationship on a level too deep for her to even see. And it seemed Mero was keeping things from Miia as well. Miia wracked her brain, but still had no clue what her course of action would be. Then, she arrived at her door. Sighing, Miia opened it and entered. Miia stood in the doorway, frozen, as she looked upon Mero. The mermaid was lying on her stomach, stretched out in a tantalizing pose and wearing her sexy, pink negligee.

Mero smiled and hummed as Miia entered, her hand holding up her head on her cheek and her tail flipping happily. "Hello, Mistress," she sighed, looking upon Miia with unbridled adoration, her desire barely hidden.

Miia laughed nervously, then came inside and closed the door. "Well hello to you too, my Little Mermaid. I…really wasn't expecting this."

Mero nodded slowly. "I know, Miia…and I'm a little shaken up too. We have some more things to work out…a constant in our relationship, it seems," Mero's gaze went downcast for a moment as her expression became sullen, before shaking it off and looking back to Miia. "If what Lala said is true, which by your face I'd say it is, you lied to me. Although, I can't be too upset, because I've been unintentionally keeping things from you as well. All of that though…it can wait. We can sort it out tomorrow, because tonight, Miia…" Mero sat up now, and held her hand out, with Miia slithering closer to take it, "all I want is you, Mistress."

Miia gently placed her hand into Mero's with a sigh. She was becoming frustrated; it seemed no matter what she did was good enough. At every turn, she seemed to make some wrong decision that led to her having to work harder and hurt more. When was enough going to be enough in her schemes for her to be happy? Of course, Miia had to stop herself. She knew it was all her own doing, and if she was unhappy she was the only person to blame. But…perhaps Mero was right. "Alright Mero," Miia said with a tired smile as she sat on the bed, "you've got me tonight." Though she was frustrated and certainly curious about what Mero was hiding, for tonight, Miia could just let her love for Mero drown everything else out.

Mero let out a giddy giggle, followed by a needy growl as she leapt up, catching Miia's lips in a passionate kiss. Mero leaned back and rolled over, putting Miia on the bed and lying atop her as she deepened the kiss. She didn't just want her Mistress, she needed her. Nothing else mattered other than panging in her heart and the aching of her loins.

Miia was amused at Mero's command, smiling into the kiss as it grew in intensity. Miia slipped her towel off and began to wrap her coils loosely around Mero. Miia let most of her body fall limp as she lost herself in Mero's warmth and the feel of her lips.

"Mistress? Mistress, are you feeling alright?"

Miia slowly opened her eyes. She hadn't even noticed when Mero detached from her lips. Signing, Miia nodded and said, "yeah, I'm fine Mero. I think I just dozed off…I'm more tired than I thought."

Mero nodded slowly with her soft smile. "Then let's get some sleep."

"Oh, but Mero," Miia protested, putting her hands on Mero's arms, "you wanted to-"

Mero shook her head with a finger to Miia's lips, "that's not as important as your well-being. If you're tired, we're going to sleep. There will always be more time for sex later."

Miia let a worn smile onto her lips as she looked upon Mero with nothing but love. She was so confused, so frustrated, so exhausted, but no matter what, she knew she always had Mero to lean on. "Thank you Mero…I promise, I'll treat you to the most passionate love when I can."

Mero giggled and kissed Miia's nose. "I'll hold you to that promise, Mistress." Mero slipped off of Miia, then snuggled into her side as she pulled the covers up over them.

Miia hummed as she nuzzled into Mero, using her coils to slide Mero's torso up, pressing her boobs into Miia's face. Mero giggled at her and ruffled Miia's hair, making Miia smile and purr.

"I love you Mistress…" Mero said quietly as she ran her fingers through Miia's hair, "I know our relationship is complicated. I know we both have issues…I know that you have a lot on your mind. But I still love you, and I always will. I'm willing to work through anything I have to in order to keep you. You're mine, Miia…my wonderful Mistress…my love…" though Mero wanted to say more, she stopped with a giggle. Miia snored into Mero's cleavage. Mero sighed and laid her head down to sleep.

As exhausted as Miia was from her fun with Draco, she had a fitful sleep. Her mind was riddled with anxiety and uncertainty, pervading her dreams. The only reason she slept at all was the fact that she had Mero there to cling to. When the sun finally rose and she awoke, Miia looked up through Mero's cleavage to her beautiful visage. Her face was framed by her luscious hair, illuminated by the golden rays of morning sun. Miia couldn't help but smile, not only for the fact that her girlfriend was practically a goddess of beauty, but the irony in their role reversal. "Good morning, my princess." Miia said with a smirk, pulling Mero closer to her.

Mero smiled and turned her gaze back down to Miia. She had been looking out the window absentmindedly, pondering what she was going to say to Miia. Now, once again, even seeing Miia in the morning light for the thousandth time, it still wiped her mind clean of thought. "Good morning to you too, my Mistress." Mero ran her hand down Miia's head, ending it on her cheek tenderly, holding her face to her bosom.

Miia's smile slowly faltered, despite the fact she was witnessing pure beauty before her. "So…I guess we need to talk then."

Mero let out a dry, humorless laugh, "We always have something we need to talk about…" she bit her lip and looked away.

Miia quickly sat up and took Mero's hand, then directioned her chin to lock their eyes again. "Mero, I promise you, one of these days I'll get it right. We won't have any more problems to deal with. We can just be together. It's just that…that day's not today. Or tomorrow. But it will be soon, I swear to you."

Mero swallowed and licked her lips, nodding. She felt so much…confusion, pain, frustration…

But it was all no match for the love she felt. "Alright Miia…if I've gotta wait a lifetime and wade through a sea of problems and troubles to be with you, then….I will." In a way, Mero realized, she had achieved the exact type of tragedy she'd longed for.

Miia giggled and shook her head. Always the theatrics with Mero…she absolutely loved it. "You won't have to wait any lifetimes…just another week, Mero. Give me a week, and I'll make everything right with Draco and Layah, I'll settle everything I need too, and…I'll tell Darling," Miia took a breath and locked eyes with Mero, "by the end of the week, I'll tell Darling about us. No matter what he says or what happens, we won't hide ourselves anymore."

Mero giggled and now put both her hands on Miia's face, pulling them nose to nose. "I fear my dramatic tendencies have rubbed off on you, my lovely Mistress. Now for the uncomfortable part.."

Miia nodded. "Yes…I lied to you, Mero…about Draco. We didn't just talk," Miia shook her head and now broke eye contact with Mero, "I was weak, and…lazy. I took the easy way. I couldn't just talk to her and tell her the truth, it hurt too much…so I hypnotized her. I helped her let all of her feelings out, burn up all of her love for me. I think it worked, but still…I see how it was wrong…and I need to make it right today."

Mero nodded with a sigh, "I almost expected as much," Mero let out a soft snicker, "I really can't take my eyes off you for a second, can I?"

With a soft laugh, Miia shook her head. "I guess not…and what about you? Lala said we both lied…what were you hiding?"

Though Miia's expression and tone stayed calm and soft, the question still frightened Mero. "I've only come to this conclusion after a lot of thought," Mero said, looking down with guilt, "the only thing I could come up with is that…I haven't spoken my mind." Shaking her head and swallowing, Mero only looked up when she felt Miia's hand on her chin.

"It's alright, Mero. Tell me. You weren't mad at me, and I won't be at you."

Mero now felt at ease, the wave of dread rolling off her back. Gathering her courage, she continued, "I've tried to be one thing though all of you endeavors, Miia: a supportive partner. And sometimes, I tried to do that even though I knew what you were doing wasn't the best idea. And sometimes, I let you go and do what you wanted to do, even though what I wanted was to hold you and not let go. I've been dishonest to myself, and to you, but all I wanted was to be the best pet- the best girlfriend I could be for you."

Miia slowly nodded. "Alright then…so from now on, I want you to make a promise to me."

They locked eyes and Mero slowly nodded in response.

"That you'll be honest with your feelings," Miia continued, "that you'll say what's on your mind. Even if it might hurt me…even if you don't agree with me or my plans. And I'll make the same promise to you, that I won't take the easy way out, that you'll always get the truth from me. Cause I don't care how hard I have to try, I want, no, I need us to work." Miia's expression was probably the most stern and serious Mero had ever seen on her. And Miia meant every word of what she said; no longer would she risk her relationship with Mero simply because she didn't want to hurt a little. After all, if she couldn't secure a future with Mero, that pain would be far worse than any uncomfortable situation with Draco.

Mero nodded in return, her expression setting into the same grim tone as Miia's. "I promise, Mistress."

"And I promise too, my Princess."

Before either girl had realized, they had leaned forward into one another. Going on pure instinct, they closed the tiny gap remaining and locked lips in a kiss as passionate as they'd ever shared. Unlike most past encounters of this nature that the two had, neither shed a tear this time, nor did they feel any real sadness in their conclusion. In reality, in both their minds, they felt hopeful and optimistic, both of them saying a silent prayer that this was the closing of the turbulent chapter in their story.

"Miia! Miss Smith is here to pick you up!"

Miia broke the kiss with a pant, both her hands framing Mero's face. "I'll be right down, Darling!" She called back. Then she began to pout as she remarked, "guess there's no time for a bath this morning."

Mero giggled as she now saw a much more familiar side of her Mistress re-emerge. "Not to worry, my love. I'll be with you, ready to warm you up whenever you need."

With a snickering growl, Miia pulled Mero close once more, but now kissed her jaw and down her neck, absorbing the sweet heat emanating from her veins. "Oh that will be nice," Miia purred.

The pair quickly got up and dressed, Mero donning her usual black dress, and Miia her favorite denim skirt and a strapless pink top.

Arriving in the foyer, they were met with an impatient eye roll from Smith, but the consistently endearing smile of Darling. "Morning girls," he said with a wave, "although, it's almost past noon, but…" Darling simply shook his head with a bemused smile.

"Come on ladies," Smith snipped, "we've gotta get a move on! Layah's in the car." Smith walked out the door, and the couple hastily followed.

"Bye Darling!"

"Goodbye beloved!"

Miia and Mero both chirped as they each took one of Darling's arms, pulling him in to kiss both his cheeks, before then dashing out the door.

Darling was left once more blushing and shaking his head, completely flustered. As long as the girls were happy though, that satisfied him.

————

Earlier in that same morning, just after finishing breakfast, Cerea received a call from Miss Smith.

"Go out?" Cerea said into the phone with a flustered tone and a blush, "well what do you mean? I thought the idea was to stay safe in the apartment."

"Well, the plan has changed. We want these guys caught as soon as possible, so setting bait for them will draw them out. Plus, I have to play chauffeur today and need at least one security detail with me. That means one less person watching the apartment, and an easier chance for them to launch an ambush."

Cerea simply sighed, knowing better than to try and argue with Miss Smith. "Very well then. Where should we go?"

"Anywhere you want, it doesn't matter. Just go on a date and have fun. Be sure to let Zombina know what you're doing though!"

Before Cerea could dispute Smith's command, she hung up, leaving Cerea to grit her teeth and blush. Groaning, Cerea looked to Tanner. "Miss Smith has told us to go out. What would you like to do?"

Tanner pursed his lips and tapped his chin for a moment. "Hmm," he looked over Cerea then noticed her back leg bouncing restlessly. "Let's go to the gym first. Then we can shower off there and go to lunch and a movie. How does that sound?"

Cerea was rather giddy to not only get out of the apartment, but to get in some much needed exercise; if she had stayed dormant eating Tanner's cooking much longer, she feared her weight would skyrocket. "That sounds excellent. I'll get my clothes ready."

Once ready, Cerea informed Zombina of their plans, and they headed out. In her all too constricting sports bra and lower body running suit, and Tanner in a sleeveless shirt, leaving his toned and supple biceps on display, Cerea blushed the entire way to the gym.

Once there, the pair started on the treadmills (the ones specially designed to handle larger breeds). They were mostly quiet, simply making small talk. After a a few minutes walking, Cerea cranked her speed up to a steady trot, Tanner in turn increasing his. After another minute, Cerea once again increased speed, now running all out. With a confident smirk, Tanner matched Cerea's speed, and wordlessly, a race broke out.

Though she was no light-bred, Cerea was still built for running. However, Tanner held the advantage in his lighter build and fewer limbs. The pair exchanged competitive smirks, with Tanner throwing a jest, "my my, Lady Cerea, I knew you had speed, but I didn't think you'd be able to keep up this well. Color me impressed."

Cerea rolled her eyes as she picked up her pace a bit more, "Tanner, you seem impressed at every breath I take. It's beginning to lose its charm." Cerea huffed a heavy breath, the toll or running all out now hitting her, her chest and hind quarters feeling heavier by the second. Looking over, she could clearly see Tanner was not slowing or weakening in his gait.

For more then ten minutes the race continued, until finally, with a great sigh of defeat, Cerea stopped her treadmill, slumping down to her knees and taking in ragged gasps of air.

Tanner chuckled as he spun himself around, running backwards so he could see Cerea. "A most impressive time! Your speed and endurance are remarkable…but I'm afraid not as remarkable as that of a faun." Tanner hopped off his treadmill, extending a hand to Cerea. "Come along. I'm certain there are many other events you will far best me in."

Cerea took a moment to get her breathing under control, then offered a sporting smile as she took Tanner's hand. "Oh yes, there are."

Next the duo went to the weights, and to Tanner's humiliation. For every pound Tanner could add to his bars, Cerea could add ten. Her arms were deceiving; they appeared toned, but certainly not matching the weights she was lifting. The end of this round had Cerea curling one hundred and fifty pounds, with Tanner only managing fifty five. And so the trend continued, with every weight, or machine, or style, Cerea simply had leagues more strength than Tanner. Though somewhat ashamed of the thought, Tanner surmised that Cerea's breasts had to be as huge as they were because of massive mounds of pectoral muscle hidden underneath the plush tits. Needless to say, Tanner couldn't stop blushing while they exercised their chests.

By the end of their session, Cerea's defeat on the treadmill was long forgotten, and Tanner was a sore, sweaty, huffing mess.

"I assure you…Lady Cerea…" he said between gasps of air and groans, "that had this place a rock climbing wall…the outcome of this challenge…would have been very different."

Cerea giggled a bit, saying, "I'm certain it would have been. A centaur cannot climb at all. But, the challenge was as it was."

Tanner nodded and laughed in humility. "You are right. You have bested me at nearly anything you could have. I submit to you greatness, malady," Tanner now put a hand across his chest and took a deep bow, his dramatic side flaring as he embarrassed Cerea in front of the other gym patrons.

Cerea, flustered and blushing, took her towel and lightly slapped the back of Tanner's head. "Oh, stand up already! You're embarrassing me, and yourself!"

Tanner stood upright with a chuckle. "Well then, shall we be off, malady? I've certainly worked up an appetite." Lifting his arm a bit, Tanner sniffed himself and made a repulsed face. "And I can certainly use a shower."

Venturing to the locker rooms and retrieving their fresh change of clothes, Cerea and Tanner both groaned at the sign posted on the shower room doors. "Due to renovations, only the unisex bathroom showers are available, we apologize for any inconvenience." Both wearing an intense shade of red upon their cheeks, they trudged into the shower areas, to see only one shower stall available.

Clearing his throat, and offering an awkward smile, Tanner said "I shall let you take the first shower, Cerea. Just let me know when you're coming out, and I shall close my eyes."

Blushing, Cerea nodded and wordlessly entered the stall, then stripping and tossing her clothes over the stall door, began to wash herself.

It was only a few minutes later that Tanner heard Cerea's frightened voice call out, "Uh, T-Tanner…I require your ah-assistance…please."

Slowly venturing over to the stall door, Tanner put his ear to the door crack and closed his eyes, "with what, Cerea…?" He had a feeling what the request was, but prayed he was mistaken.

Suddenly, after an embarrassed squeak from Cerea, the door opened, and Cerea pulled Tanner in before closing it again. Tanner immediately squeezed his eyes shut, but still caught a glimpse of Cerea blushing furiously with both arms covering her gargantuan breasts.

"I…I need you…" she whispered, clearly distressed, "I need you to wash my backside…I forgot my long handled brush…I can't reach to wash my rear…" Cerea thought that if her head could combust it would. This was even worse than the time Master had to wash her; not only was this in public, but she was distraught that she had lost enough shame so as to ask such a favor from Tanner.

Tanner gulped, keeping his eyes shut, but able to imagine the look on Cerea's face. Taking a breath, he replied, "of course I'll help you. And I shall keep my eyes tightly closed the whole time, and not a soul will know of this. Your honor will not be tarnished on my watch."

Cerea blushed more, but almost couldn't stop a giggle at Tanner's bravado. If only he know how tarnished her honor truly was from her household; the number of times Master alone had seen and touched her naked breasts, not to mention her frivolity with Miia as of late. Nevertheless, she said, "I'm grateful, Tanner. I shall owe you a great favor," as she handed him a soapy sponge.

Tanner chuckled nervously as he felt around the air blindly before taking the sponge. With a light hand on Cerea's flank, he felt his way around to the dry spot on her back, where her reach ended. He began washing, making certain to go in even strokes with the grain of her fur. "Think nothing of it. You're already doing favors for me."

For a while, the two fell silent, save for the running of the water and the stroke of the sponge. Tanner made certain to get every inch of Cerea, from her spine all the way down her belly, slowly moving down. He could sense Cerea tensing as he moved further back her body. He knew he would have to wash around there, but with his eyes closed, he would have to go extremely slow. Now having washed all but her very rear and delicate areas, he gulped. He attempted to keep his thoughts far from the implications of his current situation, but having to go so slow to prevent a slip of anything, he was hard pressed to think of anything else. As he went at a snails pace, washing the back of Cerea's rear legs, her heard her whimper, making his hand slightly unsteady. Then, an idea struck him. Speaking as softly as he could to prevent eavesdropping, he said, "Now Cerea, I'm going to ring out some soapy water over your…unmentionable areas, so I won't have to touch anything, alright?"

Cerea nodded slowly, her breathing shakey from the delicate sensation of Tanner's strong yet soft hand on her rear quarters. "R-right," she responded, her arm clutched to her chest as she tried to dash any impure thoughts from her mind.

With a hand above Cerea's tail to gage his position, Tanner lifted his hands and squeezed out the sponge, letting the water and soap fall onto Cerea. From her squeak of surprise, Tanner surmised he hit his target. Now, he was able to move on to Cerea's other flank, slowly working away from her backside, thus giving them both a wave of relief. With the hardest part behind them, the rest of the washing went by rather quickly. As soon as Tanner reached his end point, he sighed, and held the sponge out for Cerea. "All done, malady. If there's nothing else you need, I'll get out and undressed while you rinse so we can switch."

Cerea took the sponge with a blush, but a mild smile, "no, that's all Tanner. Thank you very much."

With that, Tanner slowly turned and exited the stall, finally letting out a large sigh as he was once more able to open his eyes. Just as he finished undressing and securing his towel to his waist, he heard the faucet in Cerea's stall turn off. A moment of the sound of her towel as she dried herself, and then the door opened.

As Cerea emerged from the stall, towel covering her body, she remarked, "My goodness, these towels are even larger than the ones I have. I wonder just how large some of the species are that-'' just as she was speaking, her towel betrayed her; the towel's corner caught under her hoof as she stepped, pulling it out of her hands, sending her chest bouncing into freedom once more. Cerea could feel her blood rush to her face, but before she could make any sounds of shock or embarrassment, she realized the towel and the slick ground had also tripped her. Before she hit the tile however, she felt a warm and firm mass impact her chest, as a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist.

"Are you okay…Cerea…?" Tanner mumbled from between Cerea's tits, his eyes held open only by shock, and his face nearing an unhealthy shade of red.

As soon as Cerea found her footing again and stood upright, Tanner relinquished his hold. Before Cerea could make any noises or think to stop herself, her arm flew out, striking Tanner with a solid and audible slap across his face. The moment she had done it, Cerea went whiter than a ghost, her hands now covering her mouth, instead of her chest, as she gasped. "Oh my goodness, Tanner! I'm so sorry! That was an accident, I just did it on reflex!" She bent down to look Tanner in the eye as he rubbed his cheek.

With an awkward and pained chuckle,Tanner said, "no no, Cerea, no apologies needed…that was deserved. I take full responsibility for touching you without permission."

Cerea bit her lip, putting one hand gently on Tanner's cheek now. "No, Tanner, you caught me, I should be grateful. I'm the clutz that tripped on my towel." It was at this point Cerea once more realized she was still naked. With a cry, she threw her arms around her chest.

Blushing once again, Tanner scrambled to find a towel. Once he did, he reached out to hand it to Cerea - only for his own towel to fall.

Cerea's hands went once more to her mouth, leaving her chest uncovered as well. For a moment, both her and Tanner remained, eyes unable to close and faces flushed, frozen in shock.

"Uh, I'll just…wait a bit," said a largely muscled Minotaur man in the doorway as he slowly backed out of the room.

Finally able to tear their eyes off of one another, Cerea and Tanner quickly scurried to the lockers and the shower, respectively. Tanner had to make his shower as cold as the faucet would go to keep himself from going down any impure paths of thought, while Cerea nearly bashed her skull against the locker in embarrassment.

Cerea eventually got dressed, and after washing up, as did Tanner without further incident. After leaving the gym, Cerea got a call and answered, "hello Zombina?"

"See anything suspicious while you were in there, kicking Goat Prince's ass?" Came the gravelly, irritated response.

Cerea was taken slightly aback by Zombina's tone, but swallowed her criticism. This job couldn't have been easy for her and the MON girls. "No, nothing to report. Anything on your end?"

"Nah," Zombina groaned, "these guys are either too cautious, or just too good at their job. I'm gonna hang a bit further back while you guys eat, see if we can't draw something out."

"Roger that," Cerea said before the phone call ended. Zombina sounded like she hadn't been getting that much sleep. Did a zombie even sleep? Either way, the squad and Miss Smith certainly were taking this case seriously.

The pair, still rather embarrassed and bashful, continued on to lunch in silence. The place was a chain restaurant, nothing too fancy, but one of the few that catered to extraspecies. They both took their seats and ordered a drink, and then looked down to their menus. Cerea risked a small glance to Tanner over the top of her menu, but as soon as she looked at his face, she was reminded of what else she saw…and just how in awe of its size she was. Blushing once more, Cerea buried her face in her menu.

Tanner sighed. Though he was extremely ashamed of what happened, he found this silence unbearable. "Cerea…" he said softly, slowly setting his menu down, "I didn't properly apologize for the mishap earlier. I am truly sorry."

Cerea shook her head, still hiding most of her face and especially her blush behind the menu. "It's fine Tanner, I already told you there's no need for an apology. I should be apologizing to you for putting you in such a situation as it was.."

Tanner nodded and laughed a bit. "Can we then…try to forget it? And just enjoy the rest of our afternoon together, without this awkward air?" Tanner offered an unsure, albeit charming, cockeyed smile.

Cerea, somewhat bemused by his quirky charm, couldn't help but smile back. "Very well then. That sounds perfect."

The waitress came back, and they ordered. The food soon came, and they chatted with friendly fervor as they ate. Though the two had overcome the awkward atmosphere, neither of them could quite forget what happened; the images of one another's naked bodies danced through their heads. All sense of the incident itself aside, both Tanner and Cerea could not deny just how attracted they were to the other.

Lunch passed relatively quickly, and as they made their way back to Tanner's apartment, Cerea called Zombina. "Was there anything this time?" She asked cautiously.

"Ugh, no!" Zombina snipped back, "I didn't see a damn thing! If I didn't know better, I'd say nobody was following you at all! And now, Doppel's gone radio silent too! Maybe she found something though…I'll keep you posted."

The phone was once again aggressively hung up. Cerea supposed for now that no news was better than bad news…even though she knew she was lying to herself. She was ready for another fight; at least then she would stop thinking about Tanner's-

"Cerea!" Tanner called.

Cerea stopped walking and looked up just in time to see the pole she nearly kissed. "Oh, s-sorry Tanner! I guess I just got lost in my head…" Cerea shook it off and kept walking.

Finally walking into the apartment, Tanner sighed and locked the door once more behind Cerea. Going into the kitchen, he got out two glasses and a large bottle of wine. "I could use a drink. How about you, malady?" He smiled, holding up the bottle.

Cerea hummed and tapped her chin. Zombina and Doppel were still working…and if the pursuers had done nothing while they were easy targets in public, then she surmised they wouldn't attack now. "Very well, but I mustn't drink too much." She bit her lip and hoped she was right.

Tanner poured them both a glass and then took them to the couch, where the pair sat, both slowly taking a long sip of their drink.

"Would you like to watch anything, Cerea?" Tanner asked politely, offering her the tv remote.

Cerea shook her head and shrugged. "I cannot think of anything. Whatever you would like is fine." The wine was strong and warmed Cerea's chest comfortably. For now, she was rather content just watching Tanner's face, actually. His handsome, gorgeously chiseled, perfect face.

Tanner flipped on the tv and turned it to a nature documentary on the animals of the North American mountains. The pair watched it with mild interest while continuing to drink. Neither said much, for they were both thinking of the same things.

By the time the program was over, Cerea had lost count of how many glasses of wine she'd drank (when in reality it wasn't more than three). She was most certainly drunk, and Tanner couldn't say much better for himself.

By the time the next show began, Cerea had completely blocked out the television. She didn't know what the documentary was on, but she heard the word "mating" quite a few times as she lost herself in Tanner's beautiful profile.

"I think I need another glass," Tanner said as he pushed himself up to retrieve the bottle. Once doing so, he came back and unceremoniously fell back onto the couch. Only now, he was much closer to Cerea. When he turned to meet her eyes, they were nose to nose. But neither of them reeled back. They could smell the wine on each other's breath, still strong and fruity; they studied every intricate detail of one another's face and got to know the colors of the other's eyes intimately. In that moment, Cerea could only think of one thing: not honor, or duty, or proper composure, but desire. One singular, strong desire. "Tanner," she whispered, her voice low and husky as she slowly reached to put a hand on his, "do you…feel the same as I do?"

Tanner flashed his dazzling smile as he chuckled. Had his cheeks not already been red from the wine, Cerea was sure he'd be blushing. "What do you mean, Lady Cerea?" He put special emphasis on her title. "Have I not told you from the moment we met just how infatuated I am with you?"

Cerea couldn't help but giggle. "Well of course you have, but…that doesn't tell me how you feel. It's clear you're attracted to me, but," Cerea hefted her breasts up in her hands, "I know my chest can draw the gaze of many…I want to know how you feel about me. Because, Tanner…I know it's not my place, as a knight and you in your standing, but…I think I may be in love with you…"

Tanner's eyes went wide and his smile fell in shock. "And I…you, Cerea…" his voice shook a little, from the alcohol or from nerves Cerea couldn't tell.

Cerea's lip quivered as she attempted to speak again. She had to remind herself of what Miia had taught her…to just seize what she wanted! "Then…may we please, for tonight…" Cerea took a deep breath and summoned her courage, "let our honor be damned! Forget all of the pretenses and inhibitions! Can we not just let our desires guide us, this once?" Cerea's voice slowly ebbed into a soft and pleading tone as she placed her hands over her heart. After a moment, Tanner turned his head away from Cerea, his face written with thought. Cerea was first hopeful, then her smile slowly faded the longer Tanner took. "It's alright…I'm sorry…I shouldn't have been so forward, I- '' Cerea was halted as Tanner took her head in his hands and pulled her into a soft yet passionate kiss. Cerea almost laughed in joy as she reciprocated, now putting her hands to the back of Tanner's head, slithering her fingers into his wonderfully curly hair. Turning her head into the kiss, Cerea recalled everything Miia had taught her of "proper" kissing. She had kissed Tanner already, she wanted this to be more intense now. Letting her passion take control, Cerea moaned into the kiss just before Tanner pulled back. Cerea blinked and put a hand to her chest; her heart was pounding.

Tanner looked concerned, biting his lip. He felt so unsure. "Cerea…" he said, trying to quell any influence of the alcohol on his mind, "are you certain that you want this? I…I can't deny that I want it too, but I would make absolutely certain that you are in your right mind before taking any further action." Tanner exhaled, trying to calm himself. He knew that no matter the severity of his drunkenness, he wouldn't dream of taking Cerea's chastity. Not without a ring first…But still, he knew this was a big step for them, and dreaded the thought of Cerea coming to resent him if she would regret this.

Cerea paused only for a moment as she studied Tanner's face. He was gorgeous, even when in turmoil. She laughed, putting a hand over her mouth. "Oh Tanner…I might be just drunk enough to speak my mind, but I am still aware of what we're doing. And I want to do it. I want you."

With that, Cerea popped the top two buttons on her shirt, giving view of her collar bone and a bit of her cleavage.

This of course made Tanner's breath hitch as his excitement grew. Perhaps Cerea was right…inhibitions be damned, this is what they both wanted.

Cerea and Tanner both dove back into each other, far more fire in their kiss now as they both pushed and moaned into one another's lips. Cerea steadily began to push against Tanner, making him fall back onto the coach as she slid atop him (as best she could). As their lips slipped and sucked against one another, Cerea's hands began to fumble at the bottom of Tanner's shirt, while Tanner wove his fingers into Cerea's hair. As Tanner played with her hair, he broke free her ponytail just as Cerea slid his shirt up and off his head. Cerea's hair fell down and around them both, giving the dimming light a golden hue around both their heads. For a moment, they just sat and panted, mesmerized by each other's faces.

"I love you, Tanner…" Cerea said with a ragged breath and a twinkle in her eye.

Tanner smiled, sighing with bliss as he responded, "and I love you, my lady Cerea."

Cerea leaned back a bit, putting her hands on her shirt. With a tug, it flew open and her breasts bounced into freedom, buttons flying off. Cerea gave a growl of need and desire, truly channeling her lessons from Miia, before replacing her lips onto Tanner's with fervor.

Miia's afternoon had been spent in the car with Mero and Layah, showing Layah the city and any sights they could see. After an hour or so, Smith stopped the car near the pier, where Draco was waiting for them.

Layah was in absolute awe of the entire city, so unfamiliar with all the giant buildings and flashing lights was she. When emerging from the van, Layah's senses were bombarded by the scent of the salty sea and all the food vendors, by the sounds of music and the commotion of people, by all the colorful, bright, flickering, spinning sights on the boardwalk. All she could do was stand and gasp. "Miia!" She squealed as she looked around, "this is amazing! It's like the bazar at home, but so alien! Come on, come on!"

Miia chuckled as she and Draco helped Mero into her wheelchair and out of the car. "Calm down Layah, we have plenty of daylight to see it all. Besides, I think it all looks better in the dark anyway."

Layah pouted a bit, blushing as she realized just how giddy she'd gotten. She nodded to Miia, then twiddled her thumbs in front of herself, waiting patiently.

Miia giggled, then turned to Draco. "Hey Draco. I'm glad you came. I really wanted to talk to you."

Draco smiled and laughed. "It's good to see you too, Miia. But we just saw each other yesterday, I didn't think you'd miss me that much."

Miia laughed lightly, but her heart wasn't in it. She had to tell Draco though. "Well, shall we then?" She said as she began pushing Mero forward. Draco nodded and fell into step conveniently right next to Layah, making the Lamia shrink into herself a little more.

Smith groaned as she walked next to Miia, "can we get something to eat now? I'm starving! And I desperately need a cup of coffee…watching Cerea has kicked my ass."

"Um, Miss Smith, don't you mean watching Tanner?" Mero chimed in, "Cerea is there as a baby guard…"

Smith chuckled. "Oh please. Cerea has been putting on a show like she's in a Spanish soap opera. It's actually pretty fun to see those two."

Miia smiled, thinking of just how often Cerea would be flustered, watching over her handsome, doting Prince Charming. "I could go for something to eat," she said, "Layah, Draco, are you hungry?"

Layah blushed as she looked up and whispered, "uh, yes, I'm pretty hungry…"

Draco smiled as she stuffed her hands into her baggy coat pockets with a shrug, "sure, some udon sounds pretty good."

Layah now perked up a bit, turning to Draco, "Udon? What's that?"

Miia and Draco both gasped. "Oh Layah!" Miia said with a moan, her voice verging on sexual, "udon is heavenly goodness in a bowl!"

"Noodles in a delicious soup, with a boiled egg on top, and anything else you could want!" Draco added, her voice whimpering the words.

Layah was already drooling by the time Draco mentioned an egg. "Well why are we still talking about it?! We need to get our asses to some udon!" Layah announced with a fire in her eyes.

Smith laughed, pointing off to the food stall section, "just up ahead, I think there's a place."

The three girls took off, pushing Mero along with them, the hungry fantasy giving them terrible speed. Smith sighs and rubs her temple. "I can't believe Tio really left me alone to deal with these girls…whatever. Better catch up before they start assaulting the cook."

Smith reaches the girls as they wait in line at the udon stand. Noticing Smith approach, and seeing the reasonably timely wait ahead, Miia takes Draco's hand and says, "I need to use the bathroom. Won't you come with me, Draco?"

Draco is a bit surprised and confused, but nods. "Uh, okay, but…udon?"

Mero smiles, "I'll order for you both. Just hurry back!" Mero winks to Miia, who returns the smile before whisking Draco off.

Layah pouts and whispers, "why's the dragon twink get to go with Miia instead of me..?"

Smith sputters and nearly chokes on absolutely nothing.

Miia stopped just short of the bathrooms and quickly pulled Draco behind an empty vendor stall, making Draco squeak.

Blushing, eyes wide, Draco stuttered, "M-Miia..? What, uh, what are we doing..?"

Miia noticed just how flustered Draco looked, then laughed a bit. "Don't worry Draco, this is nothing like you're thinking. I just wanted to talk to you. I need to…tell you something."

"Oh…alright then." Draco replied, her unease lessened but not gone. It had been odd enough yesterday when her feelings for Miia seemingly blew away like smoke, but now Miia was acting so strangely…

Miia cleared her throat, biting her lip. She promised Mero she'd do this. It was the right thing. "Alright…" Mero proceeded to explain everything to Draco: her plans, her hypnosis, the real nature of her relationship with Mero, and lastly what she'd done to Draco the day before. All the while, Draco stayed silent. "Draco," Miia said with a sigh once all had been told, "I'm so sorr-" Miia silenced with a loud, solid slap.

Draco had an expression of cold anger as she felt her arm draw back, then hit Miia across the face. As soon as Miia reeled to the side, Draco's eyes went wide. "Oh god!" She gasped, hands going to her mouth, "I'm so sorry Miia! That was just instinct, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!"

Miia blinked. Then, took a breath. The slap wasn't too painful, but she certainly felt it. "No no, Draco," she said with a nod, "I completely deserved that. What I did…" Miia hesitated, not sure what word to use.

"It wasn't any worse than what I did to you," Draco said with an awkward shrug. "At the aquarium…it was unforgivable. I can never take that back…but, what you did…I remember it all now. I remember every second of it, I can't say that I'm angry."

Miia looked up into Draco's eyes with confusion now as Draco elaborated.

"It was all what I wanted. Sure, I didn't technically give consent, but…I still sort of did. I can't really explain it, but I'm just not upset…" Draco held onto her elbow awkwardly, now unsure of where things would go.

"But," Miia said cautiously, "you're not even upset about…me changing your feelings…?"

Draco now wagered a smile, "I would have had to get over it eventually. You just took all the pain out of it. If anything, you did me a favor, Miia."

Miia sighed and let a weight slip off of her shoulders. Nodding, Miia let herself smile just a little. "Alright then…we can go join the other when you're ready."

Draco returned the smile, now feeling much more at ease with Miia. She couldn't explain her feelings, other than perhaps the hypnosis making her so complacent, but she didn't mind it. "Oh, wait," she said, putting her hand on Miia's chin and turning her head. Draco leaned forward and gently placed a kiss on the side of Miia's cheek she had hit.

Draco's lips touched her lighter than a feather, and yet they set Miia's face on fire. She slowly turned back to Draco, blushing and blinking rapidly. Dammit, why did Draco look so handsome now? Miia shook it off and smiled as she returned to the pathway, "come on. I'm starving now!" Once more taking Draco's hand, Miia led them back to the group.

Miss Smith had found them a bench to sit on, so that she could sip her coffee and eat her noodles at the same time. As Miia and Draco approached, Mero and Layah handed them their food. Layah quickly pulled Miia down onto the bench, sitting her to Layah's left and next to Mero. The left the only spot on the bench to Layah's right, so Draco sat with a bit of a blush.

Once settled, everyone began eating, making content and happy noises as they did. The moment the first noodle hit Layah's tongue, she moaned. The broth was rich and flavorful, with the noodles thick yet soft, and the eggs and chives on top made it all that much more delightful. It didn't even take her two whole minutes to devour the entire bowl, and when she was done, she looked to Miia with wide eyes and asked, "What other yummy things are there to eat here?!"

The girls all raced next to a sushi bar, then to a mochi vendor, then finally a crepe stand. Layah asked dozens of questions about each thing, food seemingly being the catalyst to bring her out of her shell. It didn't long for Miia to stop answering the questions, instead letting Draco.

"Why is this one crunchy?" Layah would ask.

"That's tempura. It's sushi that's been fried." Draco responded with a smile as she too stuffed her face. For someone as petite as her, Miia was shocked at how much of a foodie she was.

"And what are there red things called again?"

"Strawberries. They're perfect for desserts and stuff, especially like in these crepes."

Layah smiled and blushed, looking up at Draco, now realizing after almost half an hour she'd been answering her questions exclusively. "You sure know a lot about food, Draco.."

Draco blushed and rubbed her neck, "Nah, not really. I just like it. There are people that know way more than me." Draco took a sip of her lemonade, blushing more and more.

The moment became awkward as the two blushed, both their eyes eventually wandering to and lingering on Miia. Mero took note of the situation and rolled forward, putting her hands together and saying, "shall we go play some games now?"

Draco and Layah's eyes both lit up. "Yes!" They both shouted before racing to Miia, each grabbing one of her arms, and then rushing off the game section. Smith groaned and once more pushed Mero along.

Arriving at the first stand, a target game, Miia and Draco explained the fundamentals to Layah while they paid. Once Layah understood, she smiled brightly, cork gun in hand and said, "I'm going to win you a prize, Miia!"

On instinct, Draco retorted, "Not if I win one for her first!"

Layah's eyes narrowed, as did Draco's. Miia slowly slid back from in between them as sparks began to fly.

Layah slowly smirked. "I'm sure I can win her more than one prize."

Draco scoffed. "A ton of garbage is all you'll get her. I'll make sure she gets a grand prize. Quality over quantity."

The two growled as Miia watched on with Mero.

"Fine then!" Layah proclaimed. "A competition! We shall both play the same games and try to win Miia the most and the best prizes! She chooses who wins!"

Draco smirks and nods, folding her arms. "And the prize…?"

"It should be a kiss from Miia!" Mero chimed in with a cheerful smile, making Miia gawk.

The two nodded eagerly, shaking hands, "deal!"

"Uh," Miia said sheepishly as the two took aim at the targets, "do I get a say in this?" Neither of them paid any more attention to her as they began their competition, Mero giggling with mirth beside Miia. "Oh what's so funny, Princess?" Miia snipped with a little smile.

Mero put a hand to her lips. "Oh, can't you see it, Miia? Who do they remind you of?"

Miia took a second, before blushing and then pouting. "I was not that bad!"

"Oh no, Miia," Miss Smith chimed in, sipping coffee and watching the show, "you were worse."
