Right after Amu changed back, she sighed. Hearing a groan from behind her, she turned and saw that the black ninja who was a chubby kid with red hair much like the young woman from earlier.

As the kid slowly gotten up, Amu she changed back and asked "Um, are you Howard?"

"Yeah, say have you been spying on me?" The kid pointing and narrowing his eyes at her.

"Oh, uh no, your sister was looking for you."

"Agh, I told Heidi that I going to be home as I was done looking for something. Why dose always have to butt in?"

"Uh, are you alright?"

"Yeah. Man, that Chara transformation takes a lot out of you."

"That's one way to put it." She muttered, remembering times when she Chara transformed a lot, especially with Eru. "Hey, how could your Chara transformation wear you out, so fast?"

"Don't know." The red hair guy shrugged.

The kid soon looked around the ground with a questioning look.

Amu gained one too. Curios, she looked in area too. Catching a glimpse of a lone Chara egg on the ground, next to his left foot, she uttered with a bemused face. "A Chara egg?"

The boy looked at her before looking down and saying, "Oh ho, there you are, Nomicon."

"Nomicon?"

"Yeah, that's his name." The kid was pointing towards the egg. It had pale yellow, brown splotches on it and writing of the number nine all around, much like pages to an old book with an image of a red and black book in the center. "Thanks for the help. Now if you excuse me, I got to get home." Howard said sounding not too happy.

After Amu watched the guy head off, Miki uttered "Hm, it feels like we forgotten something?"

It took a seconds before Amu responded "Ah, we have forgotten about the musicians."

Disappointed she went back home.

The next morning school went the same as it did yesterday, though Amu was tired.

She was at her club again. Amu made a yawn, which attracted the attention of her other club members

"Are you okay, Ms. Hinamori?"

"Uh, yeah. Just went to bed a little late."

Tadase and her other club members gave off confused faces.

After Amu filled them in of what happened last night, Kairi spoke. "I see. The two ninjas were two different people this entire time and the one that is a terrible fighter was trying to stop the other one."

"Hm?" Tadase hummed. "I wonder who's this Mcfist guy they were talking about?"

"Based some info I have; Mcfist is the owner of the Mcfist corruptions that rivals that of the Easter.

"So, the Easter has a rival?" Amu sighed.

"It appears."

After the club was over Amu went back to the streets.

"Aw, why is all these things happen to me?!"

"Don't worry Amu, "I 'm sure you'll find those musicians." Ran spoke.

She sighed. It's been a lot these pass days.

Just as Amu went passed the park again, she heard a familiar voice. "Agh, no we're not doing this again!"

The girl and her Chara looked to see the ninjas seem to back at fighting.

"This again?" Amu whispered with a 'why I'm I not surprise' expression.

All of the sudden, the red ninja smoke bomb out there just like the other times.

At that moment, Amu and the Charas head over to the Howard who changed back to normal.

"Agh, this is all your fault. We would have gotten, Cunningham, if you hadn't kept giving me those stupid advice." The red-haired kid said with angered expression to the Chara egg.

Just then, Amu heard a growl popped up.

"Oh, hey." greeted Amu as he turned towards her.

"Uh, are you okay?"

"Yeah. Nomicon's shoobing it up."

Just then some doodles of arrows and ninjas with angry faces pointing towards letters that all looked like neon lights appeared. Amu was taken back at the sudden artwork.

'The questions to the present can be answered by the past.' Amu read the letters.

"Agh, would you stop it?" The kid said to the egg.

It was at that moment that the doodles and the letters went away.

"Well, that was another bust."

"Excuse me? What's going on?"

The kid sighed. "My best friend's been kidnap."

"Huh?"

"My best friend, Cunningham disappeared on us some days ago. When I saw him again, he came back as the red ninja."

"Hold on, that red ninja back there was you friend?"

"Yup, they must have mind controlled him and forced that Chara transformation on him."

"They must have forced his Chara in becoming an X-Chara?" she spoke out loud.

"Oh no," Amu turned back to the kid. "I have his Chara right here." The kid said while holding up Nomicon's egg.

"So Nomicon is this Cunningham guy's Chara?"

"Yup. We've only teamed up to save Cunningham."

'So, they're like of me and Eru?' Amu looked down and sadden at the memory of her and Dia sufficing again.

"Hello Mr. Nomicon, nice to meet you."

Amu saw Sue, now in front of the egg. Her eyes widen at her green clad Chara's speed.

Just like the fire ninja, nothing was said.

"Nomicon's still in his egg?" She asked.

"Yeah, he does this whenever Cunningham ignore his stupid advice."

"So, he's giving you the cold-shoulder?"

"Yup. We should get going."

"Wait? I have this friend that could help you. I can bring him to help?"

"That sounds great because just me and Nomicon were wonkin it."
