There's a bubble of humility,

of you don't have to do this

when someone you love surprises you

with a little gift,

and yet the humility is lived

through the acceptance of such a gift,

and the warmth of the love that inspired

someone to gift it to you.

Zen's not one who has lived a very poor life,

and because of that,

he feels that bubbling up when Shirayuki

brings him a gift from her own hands,

the idea that she worked hard for this

out of love for him,

makes each and every gift of higher value

than money can buy.

And if it's from her hands,

little flowers hold more meaning,

though if you asked Zen anything about flower meanings,

he doesn't know what's official or not,

but a yellow daisy from Shirayuki

is like starlight passed from her hands to his,

a red rose makes his face flush red,

and his hands tremble with awe,

a little lily means

that his eyes will feel with grateful tears,

and the way he accepts every gift

makes Shirayuki smile so beautifully,

that he hopes is another gift,

one sent from him to her,

even if it's nothing he can hold

or even offer from his hands to hers.
