Hello there! It's nice to finally be back onto a track of some-sort when it comes to making a story, for the very, very miniscule amount of you that may have seen a glimpse of my previous story, that has now unfortunately been lost for good. Several unfortunate circumstances popped into play when I was meddling into what I wanted to advance the plot with, and the final nail in the coffin was when the laptop I was using at the time decided it was finally ready to "kick the bucket."

I apologize for the lengthy time I have been away from the scene but I am here with another story, this time adjusting to another setting entirely in another world entirely. And this time 'round it's going to get brutal…mega-brutal even

Yikes

Anyways since you are here you already know what the crossover is, Dragon Ball x Akame Ga Kill, how about that? I had this odd experience with Akame Ga Kill where I very much so appreciated how it split from the norm that anime has been treading in the last decade, but I also found its characters and plot very endearing. The plot formulation, the character development, and the moments in-between that are so rarely appealing nowadays in anime/manga. Call me a sort-of "anime boomer", but I appreciate originality. Now the reason for my estranged experience is of course the way that the anime plays out at the end, and how the manga progresses as it reaches the final chapters in Night Raid's story. While both the anime and manga have broad differences, I just cannot shake off how rushed it all felt. Several plot points could have been expanded and many characters could have had interesting roles to play if they hadn't just been killed off like animals to a slaughter.

Enough of my rant though, can't spend all of my time complaining!

I mean I can, but I'd just be another Lubbock

Anyways, welcome to a new world! Let's have a glimpse into this chance-reality. Where we just so casually drop a new power-house into a world already teetering on collapse!

BLACKICE

"I am the fusion of Kakarot and Vegeta, you can call me Vegito…"

"Damn mortals! You dare to strike a god?!"

"I've had enough of your rambling 'god!'"

"I do this for the sake of the universe! For the sake of my own utopia!"

"NO!"

"This is the power of us mortals! This is the power of believing in something greater than just you!"

Ironic...

This was ironic.

For someone who had sowed so much chaos, destruction, and death. For someone who had deemed himself invincible and all powerful, he had lost.

And now he was drowned in darkness, his senses robbed away...

The one known as "Black", or rather "Goku Black", an infinitely powerful being in an ultimately inescapable condition, one that he himself would never have considered being brought upon his own body and soul. That is to say "death"

Goku Black was dead…

But he wasn't alone…

While Goku Black hung suspended in perpetual darkness, a "force" reached his soul. A being not unlike himself, but terribly different in nature. While his own was a "god of creation", this was a "god of death."

This mysterious god of death sensed into Black's soul, into his actions, into his last moments. A conundrum was formed, a multitude of unanswerable questions to an infinite field of debate with itself. Was this "Black" truly evil? Was "Black" just "Zamasu", yet formed again with evil in his heart? What was one to do with a fallen god of creation, especially now that the reigning Zeno of that timeline had just eradicated the last remnants of any Universes' realities? There was no place to put him, no place to sate his punishment, whatever it was to be once decided.

Or was there? The god of death paused at this thought, the one known as Goku Black was indeed indebted to an eternity of absolving his many sins he had wrought by raging across the multiverse, even pushing his way into what was essentially a different reality just to hunt down the one known as Trunks.

Then there was a sudden revelation, if there was nowhere in his previous reality where the god of death could send him, maybe… just maybe… he could be sent into another one.

Reaching out with their power, while being nowhere close to Black's, the god of death formed a loose connection to another world, and with a strenuous effort, the god of death flung Black into his next destination.

The god of death took a seat in the infinite darkness that was their own fabric of reality, and chose instead to dream of the possibilities of what would come next, maybe not for their own jurisdiction, but instead for the fate that awaited Black in his new home...

BLACKICE

"Pathetic"

This was the only thought entertaining Esdeath's mind, after all the effort that she had expended just to keep her latest victim alive, he had broken like all the previous had before. This one was especially disappointing, however, he hadn't even screamed once!

Sighing, Esdeath begrudgingly left her personal torture chambers in a less than desirable mood, things were becoming very boring at a rate that left her unsatisfied. She was never going to find any lasting entertainment with the common street thieves that her garrisons kept dragging in.

"General Esdeath?" The sound of a young boy approaching from behind opted her to tune out of the boredom-infested gloom, to maintain appearances if anything. Turning around to address the boy, she carefully noted the royal insignia woven upon his tunic. This was Honest's doing no-doubt.

Reaching into the carry-bag slung over his shoulder, the boy brought out an envelope and handed it to Esdeath; saluting the general, the boy departed and left the general once again alone in her garrisons' halls.

Scoffing in irritation, Esdeath tore open the envelope to find a letter with Honest's disgusting signature sprawled across the heading. "Letters? Romanticism of this degree is unbecoming of a pig such as yourself Honest."

However, her irritation soon left her, and plastered on her face was a cruel smile. A smile that could easily replicate what a predator finding injured prey would convey, if only that predator had enough facial structure to smile to begin with.

Unfortunately for this predator's new prey, she was no animal...she was a demon in sheep's clothing…

"A subjugation of the Northern Tribes?" Esdeath's mood, now in a total 180, shined through her chilled sapphire eyes, "Subjugation? I'm feeling more of an extermination!"

Now with the promise of fresh blood and the potential of thousands of new "torture-residents", Esdeath gathered her army. The best of the best that the Empire could assemble, impossibly loyal to her and each a highly dangerous veteran in their own right. With her army in-tow, Esdeath set off to exterminate the Northern Tribes.

However, whatever was waiting for her in the North wasn't the Northern Tribes...not anymore…

BLACKICE

Upon waking up, Goku Black had expected several things… although to be fair waking up to begin with wasn't one of them, nevertheless out of all of the potential expectations he would have had, waking up in a tree was definitely not one of them.

Grunting in discomfort from his rapidly healing battle-wounds, Black stumbled out of the tree and managed to float down from the branches he was laid upon. That is right before a sharp pain in every fiber of his being cost him his concentration and resulted with Black slamming into the grassy land below him.

"Ack!" Goku Black steadied his ability to focus after the impact apparently knocked his body back into focus. "This isn't right...I am suffering from what feels to be Ki Exhaustion...but how could I defuse from my other half-"

Sudden flashbacks caught Black off-guard, he was assaulted with visions of the being known as Vegito, and his loss to Trunks after he had absorbed the spirit bomb. "I was defeated? I suffered death by a mere mortal…"

Black sulked, feeling utterly defeated. There was no regaining that victory, even though he himself was powerful, the combined might of both his offensive capabilities and his other half's invincibility was supposed to be nigh-unstoppable. "Damn it!"

"And to make matters worse, I don't sense those fiendish mortals any longer, I do not sense Goku nor Vegeta, not even Trunks. This truly is a disgusting feeling, to be defeated by mortals and not having the option to even regain my honor by destroying them entirely!"

As to add insult to injury, a letter seemingly cast down by the wind landed next to Black, prompting him to groan and reach out to grasp the accursed item. Gently opening the letter, Black scanned across the contents only to nearly drop it out of shock.

'Hello Black, or would you prefer your old alias: Zamasu? If you are reading this then my attempt was a success, I will make this as short as possible so that you don't misunderstand what I am departing upon you. Your previous reality no longer exists. Thanks to the sins you wrought across the multiverse the acting Zeno had decided that it was better to erase everything in its entirety. I, being the force known as "death", was suddenly in possession of your soul. An impossibility that should never have happened to begin with, as you no longer had a judgement point in that reality, I gathered my power and sent you into this new one. Regarding this new world, I know nothing of it and cannot offer you any information regarding its inhabitants, with the sole exception that I opened a pathway to a world not dissimilar to the Earth you inhabited in your previous reality. Meaning that there should be humans, possibly civilised, possibly not. I urge you to make peace with these humans, as to avoid another circumstance of this sort. I cannot guarantee that my counterpart in other realities will be as considerate as I to your being. Farewell, and hopes to your absolvation - D'

Furious? No, that wasn't the correct term for this feeling that was now suddenly burning across Black's entire being. Unconsciously tapping into his residual healing techniques from his life as a Kai, Black's body was beginning to accommodate for this new experience. What was this new feeling you may ask? Well, it was nothing short of-

BLOOD CURDLING RAGE

Unfortunately for the locals of the area, they had noticed that some trees had been toppled over the night before, and in a detachment they had launched a search of the area in the case that it was a powerful Danger Beast that held a threat over their village. No longer being held back by the constraint of his body refusing to cooperate, Black launched himself into the nearest villager.

Although Black was not capable of comprehending what was being screamed out, he was somewhat aware that while he had his forearm speared into the unidentified male villager's head, that the others were screaming out incoherent orders and warnings. Shots rang out as several of the more heavily armed natives shot at Black with what appeared to be strange-devieations of the guns that had existed in his previous reality, not that Black had picked up on that in his blood rage.

Dropping the fresh corpse, Black stalked towards the frightened and angry villagers, bullets either ricocheting off or being stopped completely by the unstoppable and angered god before them.

Snarling viciously, Black sneered and his hair began to levitate. Gathering some semblance of proper structure Black departed his first words upon this new humanity.

"Ugly, wretched mortals!"

Heyo, time for a little ending here, thank you for reading this far! This is by no means a "one-shot", I do plan on expanding this story out as an "actual story", so don't worry about it just being dropped willy-nilly because I think it's gone in a strange direction. I assure you if I ever get to that point I will take a break to see which direction I need to go from there to reach a good continuation. That being said I don't have a foreseeable "chapter count", this is mostly going to continue until I have reached a point where I can safely say, "oh wait, that's good, I would love to end somewhere in that area." Although I promise you that if I do reach a point I would like to safely tie up things, I will let you guys know a few chapters in advance. As always have a good rest of your day, or night, and please consider following this story for when we pick up next time on Black Ice!
