One day the pups were playing hide and seek.
Rocky was it.
He counted and then started looking for the pups.
Rubble was in his hiding place under the boardwalk when suddenly he sneezed.
"Ahh..Ahh..Ah-choo!" he sneezed.
Rocky heard Rubble sneezing and came over to the boardwalk.
"Found you Rubble!" he said.
"Aww.." groaned Rubble. "Ah.. Ah-choo!"
"Bless you! Are you feeling ok Rubble?" Rocky asked, concerned.
"Yes I'm fine," sniffled Rubble.
Then he accidentally sneezed on Rocky.
"Ahh..Ahh..Ahh..Achoo." sneezed Rubble.
Rubble…" said Rocky, disgusted that Rubble sneezed on him.
"Sorry Rocky." sniffled Rubble.
Then Rocky sneezed.
"Ahh..Ahh..Ah-choo!" he sneezed.
"Bless you Rocky." said Rubble in a congested voice.
Meanwhile Jake and Everest were up patrolling around the mountains.
When they heard some cries for help.
"Help! Help! Help!" they said.
"Sounds like someone might be in trouble," said Jake.
"Come on, they came from over there." cried Everest.
Jake and Everest ran over to a cliff and looked down.
There were some snowboarders trapped on a ledge.
"Are you guys ok?" asked Jake.
"We're fine," said one of the snowboarders.
"What happened?" asked Everest.
"We were snowboarding when we accidentally snowboarded onto this ledge now we're worried if we move the ledge will collapse." said another snowboarder
"Don't worry, I know what to do," said Everest.
"Arf! Grapple!" she barked.
Everest's grappling hook came out of her pup pack and she launched it down to the ledge to keep it from falling.
"I've got it so you won't fall off," said Everest.
"I'll call the PAW Patrol." said Jake as he took his phone out of his pocket and quickly called Ryder.
Ryder was in the observatory when his pup pad got the call.
"Hello, Ryder here," he said.
"Ryder, it's Jake," said Jake.
"Hey Jake, what's going on?" Ryder asked.
"Everest and I were patrolling when we came across some snowboarders trapped on a ledge. They're afraid that if they move the ledge will collapse." explained Jake. "Everest has it secure with her grappling hook but we need help getting the snowboarders to safety."
"Don't worry Jake, we'll be there soon," said Ryder.
Meanwhile Zuma ran over to Rocky and Rubble.
"Hey dude, aren't you gonna find us?" he asked Rocky.
"Sorry Zuma," sniffled Rocky.
Then Rocky sneezed a little on Zuma.
"Ah..Ah-choo!" sneezed Rocky.
"Whoa..dude!" said Zuma, disgusted.
"Sorry Zuma." sniffled Rocky.
Then theirs and Rubble's pup tags lit up.
"PAW Patrol to the Lookout!" came Ryder's voice.
"Ryder needs us." said Zuma properly but Rubble and Rocky sounded congested.
They ran to the Lookout.
Then Marshall came running in after the other pups went in the elevator.
"Marshall, watch out!" said Rubble in his congested voice.
Marshall slipped on a box of tissues and crashed into the other pups.
"Sorry I must have the sniffles today." he joked.
The other pups laughed.
Then Zuma sneezed on Marshall.
"Ahh… Ahh…Ah-choo!" sneezed Zuma.
"Sowwy Mawshall." he sniffled.
"It's ok, bless you Zuma." replied Marshall.
The elevator rose and stopped halfway so the pups could put on their gear.
Then the elevator rose all the way to the observatory.
The pups hopped out of the elevator in front of Ryder.
"PAW Patrol, ready for action Ryder sir!" said Chase.
"Thanks for hurrying pups, some snowboarders are stuck on a ledge on Jake's mountain. We have to get up there and make sure they're ok!" explained Ryder.
First he clicked Marshall's icon.
"Marshall, I need you to use your EMT gear to make sure the snowboarders are ok." said Ryder.
"Ready for a..Ahh..Ahh. Ahh-choo!" sniffled Marshall.
"Bless you Marshall," said Ryder.
"Thanks Ryder." said Marshall in a congested voice like Rubble had.
"Are you feeling ok Marshall?" Ryder asked.
"Yes, I'm fine." coughed Marshall.
Ryder felt Marshall's forehead.
"Hmm.. Marshall I'm afraid you have a bad cold." said Ryder. "You should stay here and get better."
Marshall was hesitant but he knew he was sick and needed to rest.
"Ok Ryder looks like the EMT is sick," said Marshall.
"You stay here and take care of yourself Marshall." instructed Ryder.
"Ok Ryder." coughed Marshall.
Then Ryder picked Rubble's icon next.
"Rubble, I need you to secure the ledge and make sure the snowboarders don't fall off of it." said Ryder.
"Rubble on the.. Ahh..Ahh..Ahh-choo!" sniffled Rubble.
"Not you too Rubble." said Ryder.
He felt Rubble's forehead also.
"Yep, you have a cold too." confirmed Ryder.
"No wonder I was sneezing so much this morning," said Rubble in his congested voice.
"You need to stay here too." instructed Ryder.
"Guess so if I had this bad cold this morning too." sniffled Rubble.
Then Ryder picked Rocky and Zuma's icons.
"Rocky and Zuma, I need you two to take the snowboarders to a safe place," he said.
"Green means..Ahh..Ahh..Ah-choo!" said Rocky in a congested voice.
"Let's dive..Ahh..Ahh..Ah-choo!" sniffled Zuma.
"Not you two also Rocky and Zuma," said Ryder.
"Yep, us too." sniffled Rocky.
"I'll call Katie to come by and look after you pups." said Ryder.
"I feel fine Ryder." said Chase.
"Me too." added Skye.
"Great with the others not feeling well you two can help get the snowboarders off the ledge," said Ryder.
"But we might need more help." pointed out Skye.
Then Marshall had an idea.
"I know," he sniffled. "Why not ask Adam he always likes to help us."
"Yeah and Caitlin too." added Rubble in his congested voice.
"Good idea you two." said Ryder. "I'll call Adam and see if he and Caitlin can help us."
Ryder quickly tapped my icon to call me and Caitlin.
I was reading a book in my living room when my phone rang.
To my surprise Ryder was calling me.
"Huh, Marshall or Rubble usually call me since they know me better than anyone." I said.
I tapped the call button so Ryder could talk to me.
"Hey Ryder." I said.
"Hi Adam, do you know where Caitlin is?" asked Ryder. "I need to talk to you two."
"Hey Caitlin!" I called into the next room. "Ryder needs to talk to us."
Caitlin ran into the living room she had just been in the kitchen drinking some water.
Her paw had healed from her accident in the pup park so she hopped onto my couch and sat beside me so we could talk to Ryder.
"Hey Ryder, what's up?" asked Caitlin.
"Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, and Zuma are sick and there's an emergency on Jake's Mountain." explained Ryder.
"Oh-no are they ok?" asked Caitlin since she was worried about Rubble.
"Yes, they're fine. I asked Katie to come and look after them." said Ryder.
"Well, what's the emergency Ryder?" I asked.
"Jake said that some snowboarders were snowboarding when they accidentally went onto a ledge and now their afraid if they move the ledge will collapse I need Caitlin to go to Jake's mountain to see if she can help and I need you Adam to go to the Lookout and help take care of the sick pups." explained Ryder.
"Caitlin will find the clues." said Caitlin.
"Need a tow, I'm who you know." I said.
"Thanks you two I'll see Caitlin at Jake's lodge with Chase and Skye." said Ryder.
"Got it Ryder," said Caitlin.
She hopped off the couch and went to put on her PAW Patrol gear.
I ended the call and went to my tow truck, I already had my vest on and my headset was in my tow truck.
Caitlin quickly transformed her pup house into her vehicle and quickly went up to Jake's mountain and I hopped in my tow truck, put on my headset and left my garage going to the Lookout.
Meanwhile back at the Lookout Ryder was telling Chase and Skye what he wanted them to do.
Chase, I need you to use your net as a ladder so the snowboarders can safely climb off the ledge and up to safety." instructed Ryder.
"Chase is on the case!" said Chase.
Then Ryder clicked Skye's icon.
"Skye, I need you to use your helicopter to airlift the snowboarders off the ledge." said Ryder.
"Let's take to the sky." said Skye as she did a backflip.
"Alright PAW Patrol is on a roll." said Ryder as he ran to the fireman pole and slid down it.
Chase and Skye went to the slide and went down to their vehicles.
Ryder joined them on his ATV and the three of them went to Jake's Mountain.
But on the way there Ryder started feeling sick and lightheaded.
"Ohh.." he said.
Chase and Skye didn't know since Ryder was ahead of them.
Caitlin was already at Jake's cabin waiting for Ryder, Chase, and Skye.
Soon they arrived and stopped their vehicles near the cabin and Skye also landed her helicopter.
"Hey guys, what do you need my help with?" asked Caitlin.
"We need you to escort the snowboarders back here after Chase and Skye get them out." instructed Ryder.
"Got it Ryder." said Caitlin as she nodded.
The group made their way down to where Jake and Everest were.
"Hey Jake, we're here." said Ryder.
"Hey dudes, glad you're here." said Jake.
"Hey guys," said Everest.
"Chase and Skye, start getting the snowboarders off that ledge." instructed Ryder.
"Roger Ryder." said Chase and Skye.
Skye quickly got their helicopter and brought it near the cliff.
She quickly got to work airlifting the snowboarders and their snowboards off the ledge and Chase used the net from his pup pack so the snowboarders could climb off the ledge.
While Caitlin led the snowboarders safely to Jake's cabin
Ryder was nearby watching the rescue.
But he was starting to feel more sick and lightheaded because of Chase's net and Skye's helicopter.
Then Ryder became so lightheaded and sick he started to fall over.
Jake saw this and ran over.
He caught Ryder before he could fall in the snow.
"Don't worry Ryder I got you." said Jake.
"Thanks Jake." said Ryder as he coughed.
"Don't worry I'll take you back to the cabin then I'll call Adam to take you back to the Lookout." said Jake as he started to help Ryder back to the cabin.
Caitlin, Everest, Chase, and Skye hadn't seen it since they were busy helping the snowboarders.
Jake helped Ryder back to the cabin then he pulled out his phone to call me to take Ryder and his ATV back to the Lookout.
Meanwhile I was helping Katie take care of a sick Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, and Zuma.
I had made some chicken soup and was making sure they had everything they needed.
"There you go little buddy." I said as I gave Marshall some chicken soup.
"Thank you Adam." coughed Marshall.
Then my phone rang.
I took it out of my pocket to see who was calling.
I noticed it was Jake so I answered it.
"Hey Jake, how's the rescue going?" I asked.
"It's going fine but Ryder is also sick. Can you come and take him back to the Lookout?" asked Jake
"Sure thing, I'm on my way." I said.
I ended the call and quickly told Katie about Ryder.
"Katie, we need more chicken soup Ryder is also sick. I'm about to go get him." I said.
"Ok Adam I'll get it ready for him." replied Katie.
I ran out of the Lookout to my tow truck and quickly went to Jake's Mountain.
Soon I arrived and saw Jake was keeping Ryder from falling.
They were standing by Ryder's ATV.
"Hey Adam, good to see you." said Jake.
"Good to see you also Jake." I replied.
"Here's Ryder so you can take him back to the Lookout," said Jake.
I put Ryder's left arm around my shoulders and I helped Ryder to my tow truck so I could take him back to the Lookout.
After I helped Ryder into my tow truck I then put my tow truck in position so I could tow his ATV back to the Lookout.
After I attached the hook to Ryder's ATV I started to drive back to the Lookout.
Jake saw us leave and then went to tell the pups where Ryder went because they hadn't seen me take Ryder cause they were busy with the mission.
Jake walked over to the pups.
"Hey Jake, where's Ryder?" asked Chase.
"He's sick so Adam took him back to the Lookout." explained Jake.
"Oh, I hope he gets better soon." worried Caitlin.
"Don't worry Caitlin, I'm sure he will." said Everest.
"Yeah, let's just get these people to safety then we can go to check on him." added Skye.
Jake took Ryder's place in watching the rescue.
And Chase took charge instead.
Soon they had gotten almost all the snowboarders off the ledge.
Skye lowered another snowboarder to the ground and he picked up his snowboard since it was still on his feet when he fell onto the ledge.
"Ok everyone follow me." instructed Caitlin. "I'll take you back to the cabin."
The snowboarders followed Caitlin back to Jake's cabin.
Meanwhile I had arrived back at the Lookout with Ryder and his ATV.
"Ok Ryder." I said as I opened the passenger side of my tow truck. "Let's get you inside."
"Ok Adam." sniffled Ryder.
I helped Ryder out of my tow truck and he put his right arm over my shoulders.
Then I helped Ryder get inside the Lookout.
"Hey Ryder, sorry you're not feeling well," said Katie.
"I'll be fine Katie, I just need some rest." replied Ryder.
I helped Ryder lay down on a beanbag and then Katie gave him some chicken soup to help him feel better.
Soon Ryder was all comfortable and could rest.
Meanwhile back at Jake's Mountain the rescue was going fine.
"Ok everyone there's just a few more," said Chase through his pup tag
"Roger Chase," said Skye, Caitlin, and Everest together.
One snowboarder climbed up Chase's net and Skye airlifted another.
And Caitlin led them back to Jake's.
Soon they had one left.
Skye was about to airlift it off but Everest's grappling hook slipped off and the ledge started to break!
"Oh-no!" shouted Everest as she saw her grapple break from the ledge.
The snowboarder was about to fall but working fast Skye was able to get the snowboarder into her harness before the ledge broke.
Jake made sure Everest's grappling hook was ok.
Luckily it was still fine. It just slipped from the ledge because of how icy it was.
Skye safely lowered the snowboarder to the ground by Jake, Everest, and Caitlin.
"Are you ok?" asked Caitlin.
"Yes I'm fine," said the snowboarder.
"Come on, let's get to safety," said Caitlin.
"Let's all get to safety," said Chase.
"Good idea Chase." said Skye through her pup tag.
Caitlin ran back to the cabin with the snowboarder, Everest, and Jake following.
Skye followed with her helicopter.
Chase also followed once he put his net back in his pup pack.
Soon the six of them arrived back at the cabin where Caitlin had led the other snowboarders.
"That's all of them." said Caitlin.
"Thanks for your help, pups." said Jake.
And thank you for saving us." said one of the snowboarders.
"No problem." said Chase. "If you ever need us just yelp for help."
"Now let's check on Ryder," said Skye.
"Can Jake and I come with you?" asked Everest. "We were just out patrolling."
"Sure Everest," said Caitlin.
"Thanks Caitlin." replied Everest.
Jake closed the cabin first to let everyone know they were gone.
Then he and Everest hopped in Everest's snowcat and Chase, Skye, and Caitlin went back to their vehicles.
Soon the five of them were on their way back to the Lookout.
When they arrived back at the Lookout they saw my tow truck and Ryder's ATV near the front door.
"I hope Ryder is ok." worried Caitlin.
"Me too." added Everest.
The five of them went inside and saw me and Katie looking after the four sick pups and Ryder was laying on a beanbag sleeping.
"Hey guys, glad you're back." I said.
"How did the rescue go?" asked Katie.
"It went well," said Chase.
"We'll that's good." I said as I was petting Marshall.
"That's nice." sighed Marshall as he felt my hand stroking his fur.
"Glad you like that little buddy." I replied.
"Now let's make sure you guys get better," said Jake.
So he, Chase, Skye, Caitlin, and Everest helped me and Katie make sure Ryder, Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, and Zuma had everything they needed so they could get better.
Thanks to them helping Katie and me Ryder, Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, and Zuma were soon feeling all better.
