VIII: The Return

Several months later…

My elbows supported my sleepy head as I stood behind the counter lost in thought. It was another long boring day of a whole lot of nothing. The past months had grown to become repetitive. Wake up, work-out, work, and sleep. Time seemed to slow as each passing hour seemed to drag on. I glanced down at the clock. Time what was it anymore? A simple question, but one at the moment I couldn't answer.

I brought my gaze back to the inside of the empty shop.

"Hehe…"

The faint sound of a familiar laugh surrounded me. I instinctively looked behind me. A shiver ran down my spine as the air grew thick and cold. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow rush behind me.

"Oh, the anticipation… can you sense it…"

Suddenly, my breath slowly became visible.

"Who's there," I called out as I watched my breath come out of my lungs.

I stood up straight and braced my hand against the broad countertop. Pushing myself up, I looked around the shop and there was no one was there.

"Get a grip girl," I muttered to myself.

It had been almost 20 months since Loki last came. After all this time he's probably found someone else to torment or one could hope he had. The evidence had told me he had yet at this moment… It felt like him. Why had he come back after so much time? What devilish plans did he have in store?

"No… No…" I muttered under my breath.

Ever since that night with him and his brother, I'd felt as if he might be angered at me. Only the Lord knows why. He was the one who brought someone else into whatever we had. I rolled my eyes as I lowered myself back to the ground. He left, not me. I'd awoken back in my house without as much as a note.

"Liked he'd dare come back here…" I grumbled.

"Mmm, you missed me, my dark mortal?"

That voice. I shuddered.

"Shit…" I hissed.

My body moved on its own as it took a step away from the counter. As I stepped backward, my body hit something. No someone. The air in my lungs became trapped in my throat as I heard his low growl in my ears.

"Oh how I've missed this…" he said. "The trembling of that tight ass against me. You're going to make me…"

From behind me, I felt his form take shape. A tower frame with a hit of crisp air.

"Do a whole lot of nothing…" I hissed as I felt his lips on the nape of my neck.

Loki laughed.

"Are you so sure about that?"

His laughter ran through me as the faintest of gasp left my lips.

"Tell me, me again my dark mortal," he continued. "Because your body betrays you."

"I hate you," I hissed.

Loki spread one of his hands around my throat, cutting me of. He tilted my head to the side exposing my neck to me.

"Lies," he replied into my neck.

His lips pressed themselves just below my jawline. My heart raced as he bit down. I reached round dug my nails into his side. I closed my eyes as the pleasure within me began to build. I'd missed this feeling. I'd missed him but this was becoming too much. Between my legs already ached for his touch, but he left. I needed to be strong.

"No," I gasped.

Suddenly, Loki stopped. He removed his lips from my neck yet still kept them close enough to feel his cool breath.

"Are you truly mad about me being gone so long?" he asked.

Breathlessly I replied, "You left me, both of you left me after…"

My words became choked in my throat. Loki adjusted himself behind me, giving me a bit more space.

"Thor had some Avengers shit to handle and I well…" he paused.

I scoffed, "Busy with yourself."

"I was away on important business," he replied as he turned me around to face him. "I didn't want to leave you for so long but duty called."

The palest of blue eyes stared back at me. For a moment he looked as if he was being genuine.

"Thor and I will make it up to you," he said as he stepped towards me. "If you want us to…"

It wasn't a question of wanting them to, it was more about me surviving the encounter. I moved to speak but Loki closed the gap between us. Swiftly, he lifted and placed me on the countertop. He spread me open wide, placing himself between my open legs.

"... Do you want us to, my dark mortal?" he asked as he caged me between his tall frame and the counter.

"What will you do to me if I say yes?" I asked.

Loki leaned in closer to me. Eyes to eyes.

"First, I'm going to fuck you until oblivion," he answered. "And then I'll see if you're present enough I'll bring Thor to join us."

"Oh god," I gasped.

"That's correct my dark mortal," Loki growled as he claimed my lips. "Call my name…"
