Nyx stared at some pictures and rules in disbelief. "How... how is this even allowed. This is way too hardcore, even for the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"From what I understand, this is how the kingdom operates, Miss Nyx," Zoey informed with a slight frown. She had procured a set of the rules for the tournament so that her team and the others would know what they were in for.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better Nyx, I don't see anything about a dress code..." Anthony, who was with them, pointed out casually.
"Just go as you are, wear protective gear just in case..." Nyx rubbed her head. "Gods above, I heard the Strikers tournament can get wild but not this wild. Electric fences? Items to help you out... freakin' BOB-OMBS as one of them... holy hell."
"Says the girl who can set up a whole trap network to dismantle enemies in more ways than I have fingers," The ex-thief deadpanned.
"Ah... fair point." Nyx blushed a little. "Still though, i'm surprised no one dies in these tournaments."
"Maybe the people of this kingdom have their own Auras too," Zoey theorized. "Either way...your equipment was made by Miss Jade, yes? Why not speak with her on designing something that'll be satisfactory for your team?"
"It's what I was planning on doing - get the other four together, and we decide on something to design," Anthony added.
"Yeah, good idea. I'll see what she can whip up for all of us." Nyx agreed.
"You do that." To the maid, Anthony would say, "Get the other four together. We'll need to all agree on what to do about this 'bring your own gear dress code'."
"At once, Master Anthony," Zoey smiled.
Nyx took out her scroll and went to the other room. "Hey Jade, I need you to do something for us-"
A short while later at the Brooks family manor, the whole of MAJC was gathered seated around the dining room table to discuss their plans for this dress code thing.
"Okay folks, I'm gonna make this quick." Anthony would toss the rule papers down for all the others to see. "Zoey and I just got done talking with Nyx, and we noticed two things. One, there's no dress code, and two, this sport is hardcore in terms of violence."
"Do they have Auras too?" Chloe wondered.
"That's what I said," Zoey spoke.
Jen would look over the rules. "Anything goes? ...Good gravy, how does no one die in these things?"
"Dumb luck?" Mona shrugged.
"The Auras theory sounds the most plausible," Camrin commented.
"I do think personalizing gear to fit our strengths might help us the best, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears," MAJC's strategist said.
"Well... I did do some recon on some team's armor." Jen said, tossing some photos on the table. "Perhaps it might give us some ideas."
Mona would look over them. "Whoa..."
Zoey would take a look at one particular photo. "Erm, Mistress Jennifer, without context some of these photos look...quite comical." She tried to stifle a laugh.
Pause BGM
BGM: Three Days to Die (Team Fortress 2)
Jen casually lowered herself from a vent, pulling out her scroll as she would take some photos of some armor while hanging upside down. Once she was done, she pulled herself back up.
In another area, a team was discussing what to do, unaware of a cardboard box slowly moving. There was a small handle to where Jen could see where she was going as she would snap a few pics of the armor. She moved away, only for a team member to see on top of the box, causing Jen to sweatdrop. So, she pulled out a blow torch and drilled a hole underneath her, giving her time to escape… even though she landed in the Underground.
"Hey, what's with this hole in the ground?"
"Suckers." Jen smirked.
In another team location, Jen revealed herself from the curtains and snapped more photos from behind, then hid behind as she slowly opened up the window and jumped out.
"Hey, someone close the window. It's freezing out there!"

"I had my reasons." Jen chuckled.
"Someone's been learning from me, I take it," Anthony mused.
Camrin would take a look at what the other teams were using. "Hmm..." He seemed to have an idea, getting a sketchbook in front of him. "I think I can work with this."
"Thought of something, Master Camrin?" The maid perked up.
"Well yeah, Jen might be onto something here," The treasure hunter smiled. "If they've already got stuff that works, why not take what we already have and build upon it?"
Jen smirked. "Well, let's do it then."
Mona grinned. "Aw yeah, baby!"
After a few minutes of meticulous detail, Camrin would sketch out a black bodysuit garment base under a pair of white shorts (long for the guys and short for the gals), a matching breastplate with purple trim that covered their full torso with shoulderpads and wrap around protection for their sides, and black cleats with the length of shin high boots. Completing the look was a set of elbow and kneepads, gloves, and a helmet covering their head.
"Well?" He asked, showing the others what he drew.
Jen nodded in approval. "I like it."
Mona's eyes sparkled. "It's beautiful!"
"It'll work perfectly, Cam," Anthony smirked. "Now let's find someone to get this made in short order."
"Swiftly and efficiently, of course," Chloe chimed in.
"That part was implied." Anthony rolled his eye.
Jen smiled. "With this... i'm pretty sure we're gonna have a hell of a fun time."

BGM: Menu 2 (Super Smash Bros Brawl)
"Welcome one and all to the Strikers Tournament!" Port exclaimed as fireworks exploded into the sky. "I am your host, Peter Port with my good fried Professor O-"
"Doctor."
"Right, Doctor Oobleck. And joining us is a special guest hailing from all the way from New Donk City, give it up for Mayor Pauline!"
"Hello~!" Pauline waved.
"So tell us… since we're newcomers to this Strikers tournament, would you care to explain what goes on in these tournaments?" Oobleck asked.
"Of course. As you can see-" Pauline began, completely oblivious to Port and Oobleck staring at her all smittenly with hearts over their heads. "-This is no ordinary soccer tournament. This is the Mushroom Kingdom's Strikers tournament. Things can get pretty hectic. The rules are simple: Anything goes! Normally it's frowned upon if you injure someone or anything else, but here? None of that matters. Items are plentiful in this tournament, so if you get injured, you can just eat a Mushroom and you'll be back to normal. Oh, and the gates are electrifying so if you touch it, you'll get zapped… hard. It won't kill you, but it will sure feel like it will!"
"So what can we expect from this tournament?" Port asked.
"Absolute chaos. Just the way we all like it."
"Splendid!" Oobleck turned to the stadium. "Now, let's get ready for the main event to kick things off!"

"Kicking things off are Teams Mario and Bowser! Let's see how they play!" Port said.
"Come on, bring it!" Peach said, getting in a sassy pose.
"Raaaah! Grrr! Rooooaaaar!" Junior breathed some small flames as to intimidate them.
"Oh yeah? COME ON!" Daisy squared up as they heard a ding!
"Mmph!" Junior flinched. "I was just joking, I swear!"
Bowsette cracked her knuckles. "Let's rock."
Up above…
Mario and Bowser looked down at the stadium, Bowser let out a small chuckle as he looked over his nemesis, who looked back at him. "Out of the way!" Bowser said, shoving Mario to the side and jumped off.
"Oh, it's-a on." Mario responded as he jumped down after him.
Bowser slammed into the ground, breathing fire around them as he let out an intimidating roar, but team Mario didn't flinch.
"And the first one on the stadium is none other than King Koopa himself!" Oobleck exclaimed.
"Those claws shouldn't be legal…" Port sweatdropped.
BGM: Mario's Theme (Mario Strikers Charged)
Luigi looked up. "There he is!" He said as Mario came flying down as he would land on his feet.
"Yaaah! Come oooon!" Mario said, getting into position as both teams would get ready. Sparks already flew between Mario and Bowser's eyes… both of them ready for slaughter.
A Fishin' Lakitu came flying down with the soccer ball. "Alright, both teams ready?" He asked as they all smirked. "Aaaand… STRIKE!" He yelled, dropping the ball.

BGM: Bowser's Castle (Mario Kart 7)
Once the ball was dropped, Mario went for the ball, but Bowser slid to trip Mario up as he ran toward the ball as his team was right behind him. The others would proceed to try and defend, but Bowser kicked the ball and went into his shell to try to roll over Luigi, but he would jump over to avoid this as Bowser grabbed the ball and then would kick it to their goal, but Yoshi would snag it with his tongue and then popped out an egg. He would then throw it to Peach as the egg cracked, then Peach would take the ball and ran to the other side.
Peach shifted both of her eyes to see Kamek and Bowsette flanking her on both sides as they would both tackle her but she kicked the ball over to Daisy. Junior would dive for it but Daisy would kick a green shell over to him. "Ack!" Junior yelped as he jumped away as Daisy took the ball and then when she got close, she smirked at Rei and pulled her leg back, but she would kick it over to Luigi, who passed the ball over to Mario.
Bowser would try to get in Mario's way but he would kick the ball to Peach who had flanked him as she would turn around and kicked the ball to Luigi as he swiftly kicked it into the goal, earning them a point. "WHAT." Bowser yelled as Luigi ran over and high fived Mario, who gave Bowser a smirk right after. "So that's your plan."
"Talk about disorienting…" Rei rubbed her head.
After the ball was dropped again and Mario stole it from Bowser, he would rush toward Rei but a few Bob-ombs were thrown on the ground as it exploded nearby. Unfortunately, Junior was closer than he thought he was and was blown into an electric fence. "YAAAAH!"
"Oooh!" Bowsette winced.
"Ack! Junior! I didn't mean to get you!" Bowser exclaimed as Junior landed on the ground and shook it off.
"I'm okay!" He said, giving him a thumbs up as Bowser breathed a sigh of relief.
"Sire, I believe you ought to use those Bob-Ombs sparingly." Kamek advised.
"Yeah, I know!" Bowser stole the ball from a convulsing Mario as he rushed toward Yoshi. Yoshi prepared himself as Bowser kicked the ball over to Kamek who swiftly sent it to Yoshi with his magic. Yoshi would catch the ball and sent it to Peach, however Bowsette would throw an icy blue shell at her as it froze Peach and Daisy on the spot, then she slid over to take it.
"Thank you~!" She said as she would see the Mario Bros attempting to corner her. She would jump up in the air. "Settle down!" She threw a fireball down to knock the two back… and then she pulled put a pineapple. "Hey bud, you want this?"
"Whoooooa!" Yoshi drooled as Bowsette tossed it to him. Yoshi quickly gobbled it up while Bowsette kicked it into the goal. "Wah?! Oh…" Yoshi sweatdropped.
"Sucker!" Bowsette giggled as she flashed the cameras with a peace sign.
"That was a dirty trick!" Oobleck said.
"Anything goes, doctor." Pauline chuckled. "Besides, it's the Koopa Troop, I wouldn't put it past them."
"That's my sister!" Bowser said, both of them chest bumping each other.
"Always thinking with his stomach…" Luigi rubbed his head.
"We still got this." Mario smirked. "Let's-a go!" He said as they would continue to play the game. Some goals were scored by team Mario, with Mario celebrating with a triple jump, Peach sliding on the grass and blowing kisses to the crowd, Luigi fist pumping in the air…
As for Daisy, after tricking Junior and Bowsette, and disoriented Rei a few times, she would quickly score a goal. "Hot stuuuuuff~!" Daisy would lick her thumb and pressed it against her butt.
Hisssss
"Yeah~!" Daisy grinned.
"OOOOH!" Junior yelled as he would try to kick the goal in frustration, but with Kamek's quick thinking, he kicked some padding instead.
"Feel better, young master?" Kamek asked.
"Kinda…" Junior mumbled.
On the other half, Team Bowser would make a comeback by scoring goals and freezing their opponents or throwing Bob-ombs at the crew, makig sure not to hit Junior. Bowsette would sideline Luigi and Daisy into the electric fence. Bowser laughed evilly as he tapped his metallic claws sadisticaly, Junior would whip his hair around in celebration, only to make himself dizzy, and Kamek would throw a few fireworks in celebration with him cackling.
"THIS IS FOR VICTORY!" Bowser yelled as he launched up into the air, unleashing his Mega Strike. He glowed an ominous red aura, his spikes got bigger… and he threw the ball down as they split into five. Yoshi prepared himself as he threw eggs at the balls with precise accuracy… and as for the last one, he grabbed the ball with his tongue and spat it back out like a missile, nearly hitting Rei in the process as it scored the goal.
"Whoa!" Rei exclaimed as she had tried to block it.
"Okay, that shouldn't count… right? That shouldn't count!" Junior exclaimed.
"GOOOOOOOAL!"
They would see a point was earned by Team Mario. "…I think they're taking "Anything Goes" a little too far." Kamek mumbled as he would see Bowser roaring and breathing fire on the field in complete frustration.
"Obviously." Bowsette rubbed her head as they would take the ball, but Daisy Crystal Punched the ground, knocking Kamek and Junior back as Luigi jumped in and took the ball, and then kicked it to Mario where he got into position and jumped into the air right before Bowser could tackle him. Mario glowed with fiery energy as he glared down at the goal and gave it a massive kick to send seven balls down.
"Seven…?" Rei whimpered as she had blocked a few of them with her will o wisps, but three of them snuck by and hit the goal right as the last few seconds ticked by.

"TEAM MARIO WIIIINS!" Port yelled as the crowd cheered as Mario did a few acrobatic flips in celebration.
"WOOHOO!" Daisy fell on her back and punched the air. "Yeah yeah yeah!" She then got back up and blew a massive kiss toward the audience while Peach did a sassy pose for the cameras as Luigi danced in celebration. Yoshi jumped up in excitement as well.
"And with that, Team Mario advances!" Oobleck exclaimed as Team Bowser walked off.
"Well, we had a good fight. I had a lot of fun. That's all that matters." Bowsette said.
"I did try my best…" Rei said with a soft smile on her face as Junior let out a few laughs.
As for Bowser, he was really annoyed that he lost so early in the tournament. He let out a few growls of frustration. He would not stand for this.
"You put up a good fight, Lord Bowser." Marnie spoke up. "And hey, you'll get 'em next time."
Bowser rubbed his chin in thought, an idea popped into his head. "Hey Marnie. You think you could do something for me?"
"Hmm? What is it?" Marnie asked, standing at attention as a smirk crept over his face.
"And now we go onto the second match of the day!" Port exclaimed. "Give it up foooooooor-"
Team Inklings - Inklings - Goalie - Octoling
Team RWBY - Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang - Goalie - Azure
"And joining the Inklings are their own cheerleaders, give it up for the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook!" Pauline exclaimed as the crowd went wild.
"You know, watching Mario and Bowser's match started to made me think…" Weiss said, while all of them were wearing red and black armor.
"Did it hurt?" Yang joked.
With a roll of her eyes, Blake turned to Weiss. "What was it that you thought?"
"What the HELL did we get ourselves into?!"
"Excitement and pandemonium!" Yang grinned. "And the good kind of pandemonium too."
Weiss sweatdropped. "I mean… considering this is way better than the Phazon war, sure… buuuuuuut-"
A female purple Inkling landed on the ground, smirking at the team. "We're gonna squid you up!" She smirked.
"We'll see about that!" Yang smirked as Blake would look up.
"Here she comes."
BGM: Red Like Roses Part II (RWBY) (Start at 0:20)
Ruby came swirling down with her semblance activated as she landed on the ground, an explosion of rose petals scattered around everyone. "Let's rock!" She said.
"Players at the ready!" Lakitu dropped the ball. "GO!"

BGM: Tidal Rush (Splatoon 2)
Ruby would quickly use her semblance to snag the ball as she would wrap around the players as she would appear in front of the Octoling and kicked the ball but the Octoling would grab it. She would let out a smirk and threw it at cyan blue male Inkling. He would quickly run ahead, quickly turning himself into a squid as he headbutted the ball as an orange female Inkling took the ball and kicked it, but Blake slid over and stole it before the Inkling could score.
The Inklings would throw Inkling bombs at her, but Blake would gracefully avoid these as she prepared to kick the ball… only for a red Inkling male to swing his Inkbrush at her. However, she saw this coming and she disappeared, where Blake would appear next to him and kicked the ball toward the Octoling, where the ball curved as the Octoling tried to reach for it, but barely missed as RWBY scored their first goal.
"Nothing to it." Blake said, casually walking away while dusting her shoulder off.
When the ball was returned, the purple Inkling swung her roller down to splash RWBY with ink as she would take the ball and ran around, switching to Dualies as she shot the ground with ink to swim around and kick the ball around before kicking it to the goal, but Azura would turn and slap the ball away with his tail as Yang would snag the ball, jumping over the ink and gave the ball a strong fiery kick as the Octoling would catch it, but the sheer force of the ball would smack her into the goal along with the ball.
"Oooof!" She grunted.
"That's how ya do it!" Yang exclaimed, pumping her fist into the air.
When the ball returned, the Inklings resorted to shooting ink everywhere and throwing Splat Bombs everywhere, including a few suction bombs. "Stay freeeeesh!" One of them said.
The Octoling sweatdropped. "Should we resort to these tactics already? It's only two to nothing!" She pointed out.
One Inkling kicked the ball into cyan ink as the other popped out, kicking the ball while another shot ink into Azure's eyes to blind him, having them score a point while Azure roared. "Booyah!" The Red Inkling cheered, high fiving his fellow Inkling.
"Of all the nerve!" Weiss said, cleaning Azure's face. "There there, sweetie… you're all cleaned up now." She said, kissing him on the snout.
"They're fighting dirty already… should we counter?" Yang asked.
"No. Fighting dirty will make us no better than them." Weiss responded.
"Weiss is right. It's still early in the game." Ruby agreed.
An Inkling kicked the ball toward the Rathalos as the purple Inkling readied her Inkbrush to blind the Rathalos, but Weiss would put up an ice wall to block the kick as it bounced back. Weiss would snag it and ran over to the goal. She would notice the Inklings would flank her as RBY would try to tackle 'em. Weiss smirked and then jumped up, making a gravity glyph as a platform and kicked it toward the Octoling. The Octoling would catch the ball and threw it at the orange Inkling, but Ruby would use her Semblance to take the ball and then flanked the Octoling and scattered petals around to disorient the Octoling and then Ruby kicked the ball into the goal.
"Woo!" Ruby cheered, twirling her scythe around before resting it on her shoulder. "Nailed it!"
Throughout the match, the more RWBY scored, the dirtier the Inklings would play. At one point, a Red Inkling decided to shoot out Tenta Missiles at the group while the Cyan Inkling shot off an Inkstrike, giving the purple Inkling plenty of time to unleash a Mega Strike… which involved the Inkling coating the ball with Ink, grabbed it and then she and her team unleashed several "Booyahs" as she threw down a massive Booyah Bomb.
Azure tried to fend this off by breathing fire but the Booyah Bomb was not deterred by the flames and then crashed down onto him, exploding with ink while they scored eight points. "Woomy!" The purple Inkling cheered, playfully sticking her tongue out at the other team.
"…That's it." Weiss growled. "Ruby?"
"Yeah?"
"Let's play dirty."
"Couldn't agree more." Ruby said in a low voice. "Yalley Mahwop Tiren Jannath!" She chanted and went into her Zinogre Form, Yang went into Shin Mode, Weiss went into Fierce Deity and Blake pumped Gambol Shroud while summoning her helmet.
"Ooooh, I'm sooooo scared!" The orange Inkling taunted.
The Octoling girl paled. "Why do I get the feeling we're gonna get our tentacles handed to us?"
"Aww, we made them mad. Whatever. We got this in the bag!" The Cyan Inkling smirked.
However, to the Inklings surprise, RWBY played much more viciously as they would try to throw their dirty tricks onto the huntress team, but they would send them right back. Killer Wail? Yang easily turned it around on the other Inklings. Inkstrike? Weiss put up reflective ice mirrors to send it back. Suction Bombs would get shot right out of their hands courtesy of Blake.
Ruby would throw down lightning bolts to stun the Inklings as Weiss kicked the ball, where it would turn into a block of ice. "Oh squid this!" Octoling yelped as she ducked, the ice exploding behind her.
Weiss let out a chuckle, gracefully spinning around like a ballerina until she stopped and pulled Myrtenaster close to her face with a smirk while the audience was eating it up.
The Purple Inkling attempted to swing her Inkbrush at Blake but she disappeared and then kicked the ball to Ruby, who would kick the ball up in the air for her own Mega Strike. Lightning surrounded her as she glowed a lightning crimson color as she would pull out her scythe and swung it down on the ball, splitting it into six as the Octoling prepared to catch them.
…Only problem was, they convered into actual lightning bolts and before the Octoling could react, the lightning bolts struck the goal and earned RWBY their victory, to where Ruby howled in victory.
"GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAL! TEAM RWBY WINS!"

"What the squid was THAT?!" The Purple Inkling yelled at the goalie.
"Hey, don't look at me! I wasn't the ones who made them angry!"
"Rrrrgh… I demand a rematch!"
But the rematch never came, much to the Inkling's annoyance as RWBY all celebrated with high fives as Azure roared in victory.
"Now let's get ready for our next match!" Port exclaimed.
Team Wario - Wario, Waluigi, Mona Pizza, 5-Volt - Goalie - Ashley
Team JINXY - Jade, Iris, Nyx, Xena/Yagami - Goalie - Black Yoshi
Waluigi would smirk, letting out a taunting yell to intimidate the girls.
"Is that supposed to scare us?" Iris smirked as they were wearing black armored chest plates lined with silver trim and two rounded shoulder pads, having taken a page from Nyx. They also had black helmets with visors over their eyes.
"We got this in the bag." Xena said.
"We'll see about that!" Mona smirked as Jade landed near them.
"Boo!" She said before giggling.
5-Volt looked up. "Here he comes." She said as they all looked up to see Wario free falling.

"-Dah dah~ Yah dah dah dah dah dah-"

"OOOOOH!" Everyone, including the audience, winced at the faceplant.
"That'll leave a mark!" Pauline said.
"Eh, he's fine." Nyx waved it off.
"Rrrgh!" Wario growled. "I'm okay!" He said as he got back up.
"Players at the ready… play ball!" Lakitu exclaimed.
BGM: Greenhorn Forest (Wario World)
As soon as the whistle blew, all of them would dive for the ball as Jade would snag the ball with her Poltergust and then shot it toward Ashley where she would magically catch it and then threw it at Waluigi. He would proceed to weave his way around the girls, and kicked the ball but Yoshi would snag it and threw it to Iris who would run ahead, flanking Mona on the right and then kicked the ball to Xena who sent it to Ashley. She would attempt to grab it, but it flew over her head. "Darn…" Ashley whispered.
Xena levitated off the ground in celebration "Woo! That's how we roll!" She said as she spun around before gracefully landing back on the ground.
Once the ball was returned, Jade would go for it but Wario snagged the ball and ran toward Yoshi, he would glance around at his opponents flanking him so he jumped up in the air… and came crashing down on his butt.
"BUTT SMASH!" He yelled, knocking Nyx and Iris away as Wario would kick the ball to Yoshi, who would snag the ball and send it back, but Wario would take it before Nyx could snag it and kicked the ball into the goal, scoring a goal.
"Yo…?" Yoshi wondered in surprise while Wario would shake his gut around.
"I'm bad! I'm bad! Yeah!" He would jump, do a split where he bounced off the ground and bounced back up. "Ha ha!"
The ball was returned, Nyx would take the ball as she would run ahead. Mona would flank her but stepped on a landmine which exploded ink all over her. "Wah!" Mona yelped as Nyx would let out a chuckle and then kicked the ball to Iris, as she would fake a kick to fake out Ashley as she kicked it back to Nyx as she kicked it into the goal.
"Hmm, well played." Ashley nodded.
Nyx walked off with a chuckle, dusting her hands off. "Nothin' to it."
Once it returned, Waluigi snuck by and put up several vines behind him right as Xena kicked the ball to the goal, then he stole it and kicked it to Mona who had taken the ball and ran ahead, then she would whip her camera out and flashed Iris. "Mmmph!" Iris yelped, seeing spots all around as Mona would sneak by Iris and then kicked the ball to Waluigi, who had kicked the ball in the air and backflipped, sending the ball flying into the goal, with Yoshi just barely nicking it.
"Yo…"
Waluigi would run to the center of the field. "WA! LU! I! GI! YEAH YEAH YEAH!" He cheered as he was doing his cross chop celebration… which would also include thrusting his hands toward his crotch.
"I… didn't need to see that." Iris sweatdropped.
"Yagami, remind me to wipe that out of our heads later." Xena said.
"Noted."
The teams would continue to score their goals, both of them surprisingly evenly matched as Mona would score a goal as she would whip out a slice of pizza to celebrate, 5-Volt would roar in frustration that she let a few goals slip by her but calmed herself down reminding herself not to get so worked up. Wario and Ashley would get caught in rope traps courtesy of Nyx as they scored a few goals, Jade would sigh in dismay when Wario scored a goal, all because he tripped her up.
"Yeah-ha! Whoa ho!" Wario cheered as he was thrown but unfortunately, he was too heavy as Waluigi and 5-Volt fell to the ground, taking Wario with him. "Wah? Keep throwing me!"
As the game continued, team JINXY would score a few more points with the help of Nyx setting up traps to disrupt Team Wario's game. At one point, Waluigi walked by a camera in disgust, and then would notice said camera. "Wah! CHEESE!" He yelled, punching the camera in frustration.
Near the end of the match, Wario let out a smirk as he pointed his but toward the girls. "…Is he seriously…?!" Iris exclaimed in surprise.
"Have a rotten day!" Wario said and let it rip… but Jade would quickly use her Poltergust to suck it all up and then blew it back out, covering the other side of the field.
"Mmmmph!" 5-Volt groaned.
"Can't… breathe…!" Mona coughed.
"Ack! Gaaaah!" Waluigi fell on his knees. "Wario, what did you eat?!"
"Huh… is that what I smell like?" Wario wondered, completely unaffected by the smell while Ashley put up a protective barrier around her.
"I'm not going out like this."
"Thanks Jade! Now let's end this!" Nyx smirked as she pressed a button as an explosion happened underneath the ball as it launched up high into the air as then bomb arrows hit the ball, exploding as seven balls rained down.
"I got this. Pantelones Giganticus!" Ashley exclaimed, but the goal would grow higher behind her. "Huh?! No! That's not what I meant! Aaargh!" She complained as the balls freely went inside. "Why must this spell always backfire!"

Donkey Kong landed on the ground first and pounded his chest. "Ay yo yo yo yo!" He slammed his hands on the ground right after. "MMPH! Hoo hoo hoo!"
BGM: Petey's Theme (Mario Strikers Charged)
Petey would come crashing down onto the ground, emerging from it soon after as he let out a roar.
"Players at the ready… and… begin!" Lakitu exclaimed as Donkey Kong took the ball… and then next thing everyone knew, it turned into an all out war between the two teams. Diddy threw bananas that would make the Monty Mole and Hammer Bro slip, Petey Piranha threw down tornadoes that sucked the ball toward the goal, Funky smacked down his surf board on the Boo, but he phazed through it and spat the ball out toward the goal as Lanky would try to grab it but it would go between his arms.
Chunky would proceed to grapple Petey as Diddy Kong held the ball with his feet after jumping over Hammer Bro, but then Monty Mole popped up from the ground and stole the ball, but Diddy would throw another banana to trip the Monty Mole as he grabbed the ball and kicked it toward the goal, but the Piranha Plant snagged it and spat it out while also spitting a few fireballs out.
Petey had an idea, opening his mouth up to attempt to puke out goop in front of the Kongs, but that was more of a ruse as he took the ball and headbutted DK as he kicked the ball… well, more like headbutted the ball into the goal. He would then proceed to dance happily.
At one point, Donkey Kong got completely riled up and slammed his fists into the ground and knocked everyone, including his own teammates, away as he punched the ball hard enough to make the Venus Fire Trap duck. Once they scored a goal, Donkey Kong, who was still riled up, ran toward the camera as he slugged it hard enough to knock the cameraman down while DK looked at the camera all happy. Nearby, Diddy Kong slapped a banana at his hand and gave a Hammer Bro a massive death glare.
One war later… the dust had settled, and the final scores were set:

In victory, Petey set up a limbo bar and invited the DK crew, to which they happily accepted as they would go under the bar… and Chunky fell on his back. "Chunky okay!"

Aoi landed on the ground in front of the opposing team. "Alright, let's rock!" She said as she stretched.

Shantae free fell from the sky as she would do a few flips before landing on the ground as a magical aura surrounded her. "Make a wish~!" She said with a grin.
"Players ready… begin!"

Once the ball was dropped, both teams went for it. Aoi would slide in and take the ball from Shantae as she would quickly dribbled the ball before kicking it to Ibuki who swung her guitar to send the ball flying to Wrench, but he caught the ball and gave it to Sky. She would swiftly weave through Nekomaru's grapples as she would then kick it to Shantae, but Chiaki came in and took the ball with a slide as she kept running with Shantae hot on her tail.
Chiaki jumped to the side when Bolo would try to tackle her as she would deliver a strong kick, but Shantae intercepted and kicked the ball over to Rotty who would kick the ball, then she threw her own head to where she wanted to, then her body came out of the ground, then detached her leg… however she was a little closer to Akane as she tackled her out of the way and then grabbed the ball. "Oh!" Akane looked at her disassembled body. "You okay?"
"Eh, don't worry about it!" Rotty waved it off as Akane threw the ball at Aoi who would gracefully kick it with a backflip hard enough that it would soar right past Wrench.
"Nailed it!" Aoi fist pumped.
Once the ball came back, Aoi would take the ball and rush to the goal, and then kicked the ball to Nekomaru who pulled back his foot right as Rotty would come sliding in to take the ball, but Nekomaru would accidentally kick Rotty in the head. Said head would fly into their own goal. "Oh!" Everyone else winced.
"That'll hurt!" Ibuki said.
"I'm okay! Ow…"
"GOAL! …Wait…" Nekomaru would then kick the ball but Bolo would cartwheel into it and took the ball as he ran ahead and would kick the ball over to Shantae, who jumped over Aoi trying to sneak in a slide shot as Shantae would kick it over to Akane, who dove for it and sent it back but Shantae tried it again, this time scoring the goal.
"Crap!" Akane exclaimed as Shantae did a belly dance in celebration before finishing it off by winking at the camera.
Many more goals were scored with both teams. Ibuki shredded her guitar in celebration, Rotty juggled her own head and the ball before accidentally putting the ball on her shoulders and accidentally kicked her head, much to her embarassment. Sky flicked her hoodie like it was no big deal. Chiaki felt a bit embarrassed that she let one get past her before shaking it off and amping herself back up. Nekomaru let out a triumphant yell and decided to do a celebratory headbutt with Ibuki, which ended them giving them both a headache and dazed them both for a few seconds.
Shantae front flipped over Ibuki as she let out a smirk and then jumped high into the air for her own Megastrike. She clapped her hands together as fire circled around her as she launched the ball toward the goal. Akane would smirk and catch the five fireballs with her hands and threw it back for Aoi to catch. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" Akane blew her hands right after. "Aaaah…"
Aoi would let out a smirk as she kicked the ball into the air as a torrent of water launched her up into the air. "Behold my Hydrokinesis!" She declared as she water kicked the ball, as everyone swore they saw a watery image of a Great White Shark behind her as eight liquid balls came raining down. Wrench would try to catch these, but water droplets hit her in the eyes as she let out a squawk and only six balls went into the goal while Wrench managed to block two… and then the clock reached zero.

"YEEEAH! That's the way to do it!" Ibuki exclaimed, happily hugging her teammates as Aoi and Shantae would high five each other with grins on their faces.
"That was a close one. I thought for sure Shantae would've had that." Port said.
"Never count anyone out." Pauline said.
"Yes indeed. Now let's go into our next match!" Oobleck exclaimed.
Team MAJC - Anthony, Mona, Jen, Camrin - Goalie: Zoey
Team JNPR - Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Ren - Goalie: Teslo
"Zoey, let me take goalie position." Jen insisted, twirling Judge on her left hand.
"Are you sure about this, Mistress Jenni-" Zoey would be cut off.
"Out of all of us, I've got the quickest trigger finger. I can shoot the ball down before it reaches me," The vigilante responded, standing ready for a showdown. Zoey would take Jen's place, trusting her judgement.
Anthony dropped down on the ground. "Alright, let's make things interesting." He said as they would see Jaune coming flying down, letting out a war cry.
"Is he using his sailcloth?" Pyrrha asked.
"I'm not sure." Ren responded.
"…He's not stopping." Nora said, electricity crackling already.
"Wait." Anthony spoke up. "I think he's trying something."
Jaune threw down his sword, embedding it into the ground as Jaune would land on the hilt of the blade with his foot and vaulted off, front flipping and landing with a super hero landing pose.
BGM: The Champion Mipha (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity) (Start at 0:18)
"Whoa." Nora said in awe.
"Jaune…?" Pyrrha jawdropped at the sight of it.
"So… get ready." Jaune said, putting his sword into his sheath as Anthony smirked and got in a stance.
"Players ready… here we go!"
As the ball went down, Jaune went for the ball as he would quickly kick it over to Nora. Nora let out a smirk as she would pull her foot back… right as Zoey pulled out Lightning Rods and threw them around the field as Nora's electricity would move toward the lightning rods. "Wha?!" Nora yelped.
"Nice use of those lightning rods!" Anthony said as Mona slid by a stunned Nora and went toward JNPR's goal. Mona would swiftly move around Teslo's wings as she would kick the ball underneath him to score a goal.
"WOO! YEAH!" Mona fist pumped as the Astalos let out a low growl, glaring at those lightning rods.
Jaune would take the ball as it returned, quickly weaving through the lightning rods as he would kick the ball to Nora as she raised her hammer and delivered a good swing, but Jen would pull out her gun and shoot the ball to stop it in its tracks and shot it again, sending the ball to Anthony as he kicked the ball to Zoey.
Zoey would kick the ball forward as Ren would get a running start and tried to slide to the ball for a steal but Zoey would kick it forward and frontflipped as she kicked the ball. Teslo would grab the ball with his mouth and threw it to Pyrrha, but Anthony jumped in and stole the ball, then he kicked the ball to Zoey, who kicked it back to Anthony as they would kick it back and forth to distract the Astalos while Camrin and Mona kept the other team busy.
At one point, Teslo smirked and turned toward Zoey after she kicked the ball to Anthony, but the latter wanted this as he kicked the ball to Mona as she delivered a strong kick to get herself another goal. Teslo let out a snarl in surprise.
"Booyah! That's how we do things!" Mona exclaimed.
As the game went on, Jen would quickly sharp shoot to stop the ball from getting into the goal. However, she allowed a few of them in as Anthony didn't want to completely humiliate JNPR. Pyrrha would fire kick the ball to Jen, but she would shoot it down and shot it toward Mona, but a frustrated Pyrrha would get the ball back as she would then jump up into the air as she unleashed a flaming kick toward the ball for her Mega Strike.
Eight balls came down. Eight balls were quickly stopped by Jen's sharp shooting as Pyrrha landed on the ground right as Mona took the ball and decided to kick the ball into the electric gates where it bounced off and landed on top of Teslo's head, as it let out a surprised roar as it bounced off near Zoey and kicked the ball into the goal.
"Just as planned." Zoey said right as the timer finished counting down.

"Sorry guys! I didn't think lightning rods would be my weakness here!" Nora said as Teslo let out a low roar.
"Where did they even get those?" Ren wondered.
Anthony let out a chuckle. "It's simple. We heard rumors of this tourney and we were planning on joining. Camrin was the one who wanted to spearhead the prep work and worked with me, thinking of any possible matchup we could think of and make necessary preparations for us. It also helped that we saw on Toadbook that Peach set this thing up and saw what teams RSVP'd."
"Well, that explains a few things." Jaune said with a chuckle.
"And with that, MAJC moves on to the next round! Now let's get ready for the next event!" Port exclaimed.
Team STRQ - Summer, Tai, Raven, Qrow - Goalie: Zwei
Team Galar - Gloria, Hop, Bea, Piers - Goalie: Bede
"Wonder where Marnie ran off to? She was with us earlier." Hop said.
"Eh, Bowser wanted her to do something real quick. Apparently it's crazier than she thought so I filled in." Piers said.
"Hmm… interesting." Bea mused.
Tai would look into the bleachers and would see Rosalina watching on as he would wave to her, with her cheerfully waving back at him. Bea would do the same with Korrina and Allister, the two of them waving back.
"Get your game face on… it's go time." Raven told herself as they got ready to go as Gloria landed in front of them.
"We're gonnae fock you up!" She said with a smirk.
Qrow looked up at the sky. "Aaand there's the ghostie." He said as they would look up to see Summer free falling.

Summer would slow her descent before she gracefully landed on the ground as she would then dismiss her white cloak to reveal herself in red and white armor, not that she needed armor, but she wanted to wear it anyway. "Time to show you kids a thing or two."

Summer would swiftly take the ball before Gloria had the chance to take the ball as she would swiftly jump over Bea who tried to slide tackle her. Summer landed on the ground and then just when Hop was about to snag the ball from her, she turned around and kicked it toward Tai who would dragon kick the ball to Bede, as it went into the goal in the blink of an eye. "Whoa!" Bede exclaimed.
Summer let out a chuckle. "We're just getting started."
Gloria smirked. "So are we." She said as she would take the ball after it was retrieved as Raven and Qrow would go after her, but as they flanked her, she jumped up in the air and briefly went into her Empoleon form where she used Hydro Pump to wash the two away as went back to normal and kicked the ball, but Zwei caught it and then kicked to Qrow who would sent it to Raven who flip kicked it to Summer as she would jump up and spin kicked it to send it crashing into Bede. He would catch it but it would nearly send him into the goal.
"Mmph! Phew…" Bede would kick the ball over to Piers as he kicked the ball to Bea, but Tai intercepted and kicked it to Summer who had kicked it over to Raven, who proceeded to kick the ball hard enough to send it flying into the goal.
"That takes care of it." Raven said as she walked off with a smirk on her face.
"Alright… I see ye." Gloria said, cracking her neck. "Let's get a bit wild!"
Gloria would score a few goals where Bea would trip over Tai and then kicked the ball into the goal. STRQ would respond to this by Summer dribbling the ball before kicking it to Tai who decided to headbutt it and sent it to the goal… which also giving him a headache. "Agh!" Tai winced.
"Honey, with the crown of your head! Not the forehead!" Summer told him.
"Yeah, I get that now!" Tai winced.
"Would that be worse considering the ball is metal?" Qrow asked.
"I'd rather not find out." Raven responded as they would proceed to score goals all around. Piers would pull an Ibuki and swing his guitar at the ball but wasn't completely as graceful compared to her, however his shot was stolen by Summer as she would kick the ball and weaved through some banana peels as she would kick the ball in the air.
"Raven!" Summer yelled as Raven came through a portal above Summer and kicked the ball toward the goal as Bede dove but it just grazed his fingers as it went inside. Summer would then high five Raven while Bede just looked absolutely impressed by that play, as did the rest of Team Galar.
Bea would kick the ball high into the air, readying her Mega Strike. Summer quickly looked over to Zwei. "Zwei! Here boy!" She called to him as Zwei happily ran over to her as Raven filled in as goalie right as Bea delivered a strong punch. Raven readied her sword and slashed through the balls, where only one ball would make it in.
Bea landed on the ground and punched the air in victory. "One making it in is good enough!" She said as Summer ruffled Zwei's head, kissed him on the head and had him go back to the goal.
"Even though he has armor on, I didn't want him hurt by those Mega Strikes." Summer admitted as Raven returned as they would proceed to continue on with the game as at one point, Summer kicked the ball high into the air for her own Mega Strike. She glowed a ghostly like aura and kicked the ball, and to Bede's dismay, the eight balls that were split had turned invisible.
"What the bloody hell?!" Bede exclaimed as he scrambled about trying to block them, trying his damndest to try to actually block a hit, but they all would appear in the goal.
"Oh, that's evil, mate!" Hop exclaimed as Summer landed on the ground right as the final seconds have ended.

Gloria's eye twitched. Her face went red with fury as she immediately went into her Ampharos form and punched the electric gate in frustration.
"The worst part about these games? It goes right into everyone's heads." Pauline said. "It brings the worst out of people. They kinda get way too passionate."
"Oh, I'm sure it can't be that bad." Port said.
"One time, I saw Peach throwing a diva tantrum over losing to Wario… that was… not a good day for her." Pauline said.
"Ooooh, they do let it get to their heads." Oobleck grimaced.
"Luckily, Peach is more reserved in other sports like golf and tennis. I'm not sure what it is about soccer that brings the worst in people."
"Anyway, off to the final match!" Port exclaimed.
Team CFVY - Coco, Fox, Velvet, Yatsuhashi - Goalie: Penny
Team Blood Gulch - Carolina, Sarge, Grif, Washington - Goalie: Caboose
"I'm surprised you don't have Doom Guy as your goalie." Washington said.
"I even asked him, but he told me it wouldn't be fair to the other team." Velvet said, glancing over at the bleachers to see Doom Guy waving a small flag that said "CFVY" on it and a foam finger in his other hand.
Carolina landed on the ground. "Alright, let's kick some ass!"
Velvet looked up. "Here she comes!"
BGM: Caffeine (RWBY)
Coco came crashing down, landing on her feet and smirking. She rose up and put her bag over her shoulder. "Sup?"
"Players ready... begin!"
Coco and Carolina both reached for the ball, the latter taking a hold of it as she would kick it over to Washington who would kick it to the goal but Penny stopped it.
"Analyzing: Target acquired!" Penny would throw the soccer ball hard enough… that it went into the other goal all the while Caboose was distracted by a butterfly.
"Huh? What? Oh! Good job, guys!" Caboose cheered them on.
"Yay, I made a goal~!" Penny said cheerfully as she turned to the bleachers. "Hey dad! Sis! I made a goal!"
"That's my sister!" SAPR cheered her on while Pietro let out an amused chuckle.
"I get "Anything goes", but that shouldn't have given them a point!" Grif exclaimed, seeing the score being 1-0.
"You're right. "Anything goes"." Sarge turned to Grif. "So you get to score for us!"
"Me?! Why do I have to-… wait, why are you giving me that look?"

"Mwahahahaha! C'mere!" He smirked as Grif tried to run, but Sarge pulled out his shotgun and shot him down. He then walked over and grabbed him by the leg, dragging him away.
"WAIT! NO! STOP! NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOO!"
"What the hell are you doing?!" Washington yelled.
"…He's… turning him into a pretzel knot…?" Carolina yelled.
"AH! OW! AAAAAAAAGH! I WANT MY MOMMY! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
In the bleachers, everyone looked absolutely horrified while Samus pulled down her shades. "The hell is he doing…?"
"Oh… oh my…" Coco said as Velvet looked like she was about to be sick.
"Ladies and gentleman… I give you…!" Sarge raised Grif in the air. "GRIFBALL!"
"Grif!" Simmons called out from the bleachers. "You didn't tell me you were that flexible!"

Chloe grimaced. "Yikes… that's going to probably take orthopedic surgery for him…"
"Wish I was that flexible." Mona said, earning an elbow from Jen.
Back outside…
"…I think we're taking the "Anything Goes" a little too far." Pauline grimaced.
"Indeed… yet they're not disqualifying them." Port said.
"I want to look away, yet something about this intrigues me!" Oobleck exclaimed.
CFVY looked at each other. "This feels wrong…" Velvet said.
"Yeah… and yet…" Coco smirked. "I think we have ourselves a victory here, so let's play along."
"If you insist." Fox chuckled.
Yatsuhashi readied himself. "Let's do it."
"…Should we tell him?" Washington asked in dismay.
"No no, let him figure it out." Carolina responded.
Sarge set the "Grifball" down and would proceed to kick Grif toward the goal, where Penny would simply side step as Grif flew in. "Oooow."
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!" Sarge yelled, shooting his shot gun up in the air in victory… unaware that they didn't score a point at all.
"They don't pay me enough for this…" Lakitu mumbled, getting Grif out with his fishing pole.
"Just kill meeeeee…." Grif groaned.
Sarge went for Grif again and started to kick him toward the goal, noticing nobody moving. "What? You don't want to compete! HA! I get it! You're overwhelmed by the almighty game of Grifball! This victory goes for the red team!" He kicked Grif away as Penny would simply sit down and played with a Caterpie that had crawled into the field while CFVY decided to have a chat with Caboose while Washington sat on the actual soccer ball in annoyance while Carolina sat on the grass and decided to clean her weapons.
One "one-sided" game later…
The timer buzzed. "VICTORY!" Sarge exclaimed. "Thirty points to one! Y'all were overwhelmed by the almighty Grifball! MWAHAHAHAHA!" He said as he looked at the score. "…Huh?"

"WHA?! HOW COME I DIDN'T SCORE ANY POINTS?! THIS GAME'S RIGGED! RIGGED I TELL YOU!" He walked out of the stadium in pure anger, grumbling something about "Dirty blues rigging the game for him" or something like that.
"I need a medic… I think I'm bleeding internally seven times over…" Grif groaned.
"And with that… "unique" match, it's over! Now we go into the next bracket!" Port exclaimed.
"Indeed! We have Team Mario vs Team RWBY, Team JINXY vs Team Piranha Plant, Team Ultimates vs Team MAJC and Team STRQ vs Team CFVY! Who will make it to the semi finals? We'll just have to find out in just a couple of minutes!" Pauline exclaimed.
"This is all exciting!" Oobleck exclaimed.
A few minutes later…
Once the teams were on the field, Mario was the first to land on the ground. He would run up to WBY and then stopped, before flicking his hat up. "Oh yeah!" He smirked.
"Competitive, are we?" Yang teased, causing Mario to chuckle.
"Perhaps." He still had a smirk on his face as Ruby would land right after.
"Alright, let's rock!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Players at the ready… BEGIN!"
BGM: Boss Battle (Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time)
Ruby would swiftly take the ball as she would quickly weave through Daisy and Luigi as Peach would try to slide through, but Ruby kicked the ball to Weiss. She would run over to Yoshi, but would trick him by kicking it to Blake, where she kicked the ball into the goal.
"Alright… we see you." Daisy smirked as Mario would snag the ball as he would flip over Yang and then kicked the ball toward Azure but he would snag the ball with his mouth and spat it out toward Blake, who unleashed a power shot and sent it flying. Ruby used her semblance to catch up with the ball and kicked it toward the goal, but Yoshi caught it with his tongue and spat it out where Luigi would take the ball, kicked it to Mario, who kicked it to Daisy after Weiss tried to get in the way, then she kicked to Peach who swiftly kicked it into the goal over Azure's wing.
"Yeah go Peach!" Peach cheered, fist pumping toward the crowd.
"Oh yeah… this is way better than the Inklings." Ruby smirked.
Weiss chuckled. "Now it got more interesting."
As the game went on, Ruby would sit on the ground and sighed while Mario did a triple jump and slid on the grass with his knees. Daisy would be utterly disgusted when Weiss and Blake scored a few goals. Yoshi would throw eggs to cancel out Yang's Mega Strike when she Dragon Punched it and then Mario scored another goal, flames surrounded Peach as Ruby blocked her advances and scored a goal before she had to calm herself down.
"Ooooooh!" Yoshi growled as Ruby and Yang had teamed up and scored a goal to trick him. He angrily marched forward before stopping and shook his fist angrily at them, letting out some unintelligible dino noises. Azure would let out a snarl and breathed a fireball in frustration as a goal went underneath his wing shortly after.
"Oh Weegee Weegee Weegee YEAH!" Luigi cheered after he scored a goal after stealing the ball where Blake had passed it to Ruby. Needless to say, both the Faunus and red head were giving him a dirty look.
"OH FOR THE LOVE OF!" Yang yelled, her hair burning up as the Mario Bros scored a few points before she calmed her down.
"Ha ha ha ha!" Luigi ran by with Mario, pointing toward his bro. "Thank you! Thank you so much, ha ha!" He said as Mario gave him a thumbs up and a smile. Another point had Peach go full diva mode and smiled and posed for the camera.
"Uuuugh!" Daisy groaned in disgust as several points were scored in a row for RWBY right after. "Ugh! UUUUGH!" She exclaimed in dismay, but then her disgust disappeared when she scored a goal. "YEAH! SUCK IT! WOOOOO!"
"What is it with this game and bringing out the worst in people?" Weiss wondered as Luigi's eye twitched violently after Blake scored a few goals of her own.
"We're down to the final seconds folks! They're both tied! It's anybody's game!" Oobleck exclaimed as Daisy slid underneath Ruby to trip her up and stole the ball, then she used a Mushroom to gain some speed before she kicked the ball high into the air, and then she unleashed her Mega Strike by crystal punching the ball, but Azure breathed fire to block them and smacked the last one with his tail to send it flying, and then Ruby delivered a flip kick after Weiss kicked it toward her. Yoshi would dive for it, sticking his tongue out… but the ball would go over his tongue and went into the goal.

"YES!" Ruby cheered as her team celebrated by hugging each other as Mario's team looked at each other and shrugged before they walked over and congratulating the girls on their victory.
"Now let's get on with the next round!" Port exclaimed.
Petey landed on the ground in front of the girls, giving INXY a "Come on, bring it on!" attitude while Jade landed in front of them.
"Let's get this party started!"
BGM: Boss Battle (Super Mario Sunshine)
Once the ball dropped, both teams would proceed to fight their way to victory. Petey would score a few goals. Jade would shoot a ball into the goal with her Poltergust. Monty Mole dug underneath Xena, but got caught in a net thanks to Nyx as she would score a goal instead. Petey whipped up a few tornadoes that caught Xena up in the air and the ball, but Xena would use this to her advantage as she flew over and kicked the ball to the goal. Petey would look on in shock before letting out a few sheepish chuckles over it.
Yoshi blocked a few advances, actually headbutting the Monty Mole into the electric gates. Hammer Bro, meanwhile, threw hammers at Yoshi to daze him as he hammered the ball into the goal. He would then run up, jump up and flapped his arms up in victory. "Woohoo hoo hoo hoo! HOO!" He laughed as he landed on the ground.
"Hammer Bros can do that?" Iris asked.
"Who knew!" Nyx shrugged with a chuckle as they would continue scoring goals left and right.
The Boo would proceed to score a goal where Jade was right behind him, desperately trying her best to not suck him into her Poltergust for research purposes. In fact, Xena had to telekinetically hold her down. Monty Mole scored a goal by going underneath Yoshi much to his surprise. Iris would kick the ball into the air and then shot at it to send it flying into the goal before the Venus Fire Trap could try to stop it, and then Nyx would score a goal after trapping Petey in another net trap right as the timer ended.

"And the victory goes to team JINXY!" Port exclaimed as JINXY celebrated while Petey came over and hugged the four while laughing in celebration that they won.
During the next match, MAJC and the Ultimates were neck and neck where Chiaki would kick the winning shot, if it wasn't for Jen to shoot it down and then Camrin would dance around Aoi, the Ultimate Swimmer tried to fake him out but he wouldn't let her get to him as he kicked the ball over to Mona who swiftly kicked the ball as it went past Akane as she tried to block it.
"Crud!" Akane punched the ground in frustration.

"Aww…" Aoi pouted before shrugging. "Well, we tried!" She smiled as her team nodded, Ibuki strumming her guitar in celebration over MAJC winning.
"One final team before we move on to the Semi Finals! However, there has been a change with Team STRQ. It turns out Tai received a concussion when he accidentally headbutted the ball. He didn't realize he had until after the game. So he's currently sitting it out and rooting for his team on the sidelines." Port said.
"But that doesn't mean they're at a disadvantage. They had asked a friend to fill in for Tai for the rest of the game." Pauline smiled.
"So, who's your new team member?" Coco asked after asked.
"Oh, she'll be coming right about-" Summer looked up. "Now."
Yatsuhashi looked up. "Is that…?"
Coco grimaced. "Ooooh boy…"

Rosalina came free falling and then landed on the ground shortly after, some Star Bits scattering across the ground after she landed.
"Hello~!" She waved cheerfully.
Velvet sweatdropped. "So uh… how screwed are we?"
"Probably a good chance we're ultra boned but… hey, let's give this a shot!" Coco smirked.
"Players at the ready… BEGIN!"

BGM: Good Egg Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Rosalina quickly took the ball before Coco could snag it as she would run over and kicked the ball over to Summer, who swiftly passed it to Raven as she kicked it over to Penny who caught the ball and threw it back, but Qrow would steal it from Coco and then passed it to Rosalina who elegantly kicked it into the goal.
"Oh! Nice shot!" Penny praised.
Rosalina smiled, humming to herself as she waved to the crowd cheerfully.
Once the ball returned, Coco stole it from Rosalina as she would kick it over to Velvet as she would deliver a strong kick, but Zwei jumped in and caught the ball, headbutting it to Summer who had passed it to Qrow, who kicked it to the goal but Penny would block with her swords, bouncing away as Raven kicked it into the goal before Penny could send it back. Penny would look over to Raven and gave her a thumbs up in approval with a grin on her face.
"We really gotta tell her not to cheer on both teams." Yatsuhashi rubbed his head.
"Oh, let her have her fun." Coco chuckled.
As the game continued, both teams would score points as Penny would occasionally score for her team, something that everyone found amusing as Rosalina would score some goals as well, occasionally warping near Penny to disorient her but the latter would cheerfully congratulate her for scoring another goal.
At one point, Velvet launched high into the air to do her Mega Strike. Rosalina would switch places with Zwei as Velvet unleashed a powerful kick with her jet boots. Rosalina put up a force field to block most of them, but let two slip by on purpose so Velvet wouldn't feel so bad.
As it went on, Rosalina would kick the ball into the air for her own Mega Strike, making a Launch Star as the ball launched down to the ground and split into seven… and morphed into comets as Penny would fire lasers at these comets to blast away three while four slammed into the ground behind her. Penny simply shrugged and clapped for Rosalina. "Nice shots, Rosie!" Penny cheered her on.
"She is too pure, I swear." Raven chuckled.
Rosalina landed near her. "It's admirably adorable." She giggled as the game continued, and soon, after Summer landed the final goal, the final seconds wrapped up.

"Woohoo! Go team… uh… S-R-R-Q… um… Sark?" Penny tilted her head before shrugging it off. "You guys rocked!"
"They sure did." Coco chuckled. "Nice game, guys."
"And with that… we have our semi finalists! Team RWBY vs Team JINXY and Team MAJC vs Team… uh… Sark? Surely, there's gotta be a better way to pronounce that… but whatever!" Port said.
"Indeed! However, we're going to be taking a little break. Apparently we have a halftime show to do!" Oobleck said.
"Indeed!" Port nodded as the lights dimmed, the stadium went dark before the lights came back on, revealing a stage. "Pauline, care to do the introductions?" He asked, but noticed she was gone. "…Mayor Pauline? Where did you go? …I guess I'll the introductions. Give a warm welcome to the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook! They will be the opening act for the main event, the band named known as… Photon Lightning!"
Down on the stage, Callie took the microphone. "Alright, you guys ready for some music!" She called out as the audience cheered.
"This would be where we'd do Calimari Inkantation, but we got something better for ya!" Marie grinned.
"Give it up fooooor-" Pearl pointed to the stage.
"The one and only!" Marina also pointed to the stage as lights shined down on the middle of the stage to reveal none other than Pauline herself, and with her band behind her.
Pauline smiled. "Alright boys, hit it!"

Once the song started, Callie and Marie would both grab the microphones and the sisters fist bumped each other. "Here we go~ Off the rails~ Don't you know it's time to raise our sails~ It's freedom like you never knew~"
Then it was Marina and Pearl's turn. "Don't need bags or a pass~ Say the word, I'll be there in a flash~ You could say my hat is off to you~"
Then Callie and Pearl would sing together: "Oh, we can zoom all the way to the moon from this great wide wacky world~"
Marina and Marie jumped in after. "Jump with me, grab coins with me~ Oh yeeeeeeah~!"
Pauline smirked, where it would be her turn to shine as sparks started flying high. "It's time to jump up in the air~! (Jump up in the air!) Jump up, don't be scared~ (Jump up, don't be scared!) Jump up and your cares will soar away~!"
Then Marina would jump in with Pauline. "And if the dark clouds start to swirl~ Don't fear, don't shed a tear-"

Pauline would then point to the side of the stadium. "Everyone, let's give a warm introduction to Photon Lightning!"
Inside, Kokoro paled at the sight of it. "Oh geez…" She said.
"So, ready to take on a football stadium?" Cardin asked.
"I guess…" Kokoro gulped.
Ibuki patted her on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Koko-chan. We got this! We'll be right with ya!"
"I never imagined we'd take on a soccer stadium with this song, but hey… it's a hell of a way to start it off." Ludwig chuckled as Kokoro took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Let's do this." Kokoro said as they would walk into the stadium.
"You got this, Kokoron!" Ling cheered as Kokoro, Ibuki, Chelsea, Ludwig and Whitley jumped up on the stage as Pauline and the others hopped off.

Kokoro took the microphone as Ibuki readied her guitar, Chelsea with the bass, Ludwig hopped on the drums and Whitley held a violin. Kokoro took a deep breath and silently exhaled before opening her eyes. "Hit it!" She requested.

As the song started to play, Rosalina would go check up on Tai in the infirmary. "Hey, how you feeling?" She asked.
"Oh, never better… heheh… yeah, that messed me up more than I thought."
Rosalina giggled. "Well, at least you're not too hurt." She said as she leaned down and kissed him on the forehead.
"Saw your match out there. You were incredible!" Tai smiled. "I never realized someone could be so elegant while playing soccer of all things."
Rosalina smiled sweetly. "Oh, it's a gift." She giggled as she stroked his cheek. "It's a shame that you had to get a concussion, you were great out there yourself."
"Ah, I was alright…" Tai chuckled. "So… once I'm feeling better, how's about the two of us head out for dinner?"
Rosalina smiled. "I would love that." She said, leaning in to kiss him as SRQ walked in with Ruby and Yang accompanying them.
"Oh, are we interrupting something?" Yang smirked.
Summer giggled. "Let's leave them be." She said, walking out to leave the two lovebirds loving make out.
"So, it seems we both made it to the semis." Yang said.
"It appears we have." Summer said and then smirked. "If we end up in the finals together, don't feel bad when we kick your butts."
"Oho! Getting competitive already?" Ruby smirked. "We'll see about that, mom. We'll kick your butts first!"
"We'll look forward to you trying."
Qrow chuckled. "Some things never change." He said as he noticed sparks flying between Raven and Yang with playful smirks on their faces. "…Sheesh, where's my person to glare at?"
Meanwhile…
Umber hummed to himself as he went to grab himself a drink, and then heard the sounds of a blowtorch. "Hmm?" He wondered as he walked to the source of the noise, opening up a closet and seeing Marnie with goggles over her eyes. "Oh, so that's where you ran off to."
"Hmm?" Marnie turned her head, putting her goggles over her forehead as there was soot all over her face. "Oh, hey Umber. Yeah, His Burliness wanted me to work on this for something. He said it'll be a "surprise" or whatever." She said.
"A surprise, huh?"
"Yeah… I'm assuming these are security guards for when we go and kidnap Peach and then these guys will slow down the Mario Bros, RWBY and whoever else decides to accompany them."
"Security guard robots?" Umber tilted his head.
"Yeah." Marnie nodded. "I've been busy for a few hours. …So uh… did my team win?"
"Nah, y'all lost to STRQ in the first round."
"Ouch." Marnie winced.
"Your girlfriend took it as well as everyone expected."
Marnie chuckled. "Let me guess, do I need to make out with her to calm her down?"
"Probably." He laughed. "I'm not sure what's with this sport that gets everyone so flustered. You don't see this with golf, tennis or even baseball!"
"Eh, they're just passionate." Marnie shrugged. "A little too passionate if you ask me. Trust me, I've watched a few football matches in the Amazon Region and let me tell ya… they get real feisty." She let out a chuckle. "I'm not sure what gets everyone more riled up, football or rugby."
"Uh… yes." Umber said, causing Marnie to laugh.
"Good point!" She giggled.
"Hey, you mind if I get both of us some drinks?"
"I do feel a bit parched, yeah. Surprise me."
"You got it! And when I come back, I'll suggest a few upgrades that you can put in!"

Once Kokoro finished her song, everyone cheered for them all. "Thank you!" Kokoro giggled. "Enjoy the rest of the Strikers tournament!" She said as she walked off, Ibuki immediately high fiving Kokoro on the way back as Sea5ons would immediately hug her when they went back in.
"Well, that was a lovely song if I say so myself." Pauline said as she noticed Port and Oobleck were swooning over her. "Oh, yeah, forgot my singing voice has that effect on people." She giggled. "Anyway, on to the Semi Finals!"
During the Semi Finals, JINXY and RWBY would be neck and neck, but to the surprise of everyone, JINXY would pull ahead with a seven point Mega Strike that Azure tried to block but was too exhausted after a long game of defending. As for the other match, it was also a close game where MAJC would sneak in a few goals past Zwei and despite Rosalina throwing in a last ditch Mega Strike, Jen would shoot them down in an instant.

"Ladies and gentleman, we have our finalists! Give it up for… JINXY vs MAJC!" Port exclaimed as everyone cheered as both teams walked up.
"Well, I never expected this kind of match up." Nyx said.
"I wouldn't trade it for the world." Anthony responded as both teams smirked.
"Teams at the ready!" Lakitu exclaimed, raising the ball up in the air. "BEGI-"
Suddenly, the lights went off. "Hey! Who turned out the lights?"
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Suddenly, the monitor up on the stadium showed Bowser's logo. "DID YOU THINK I'D TAKE THAT LOSS STANDING DOWN!" Bowser roared. "NO! I AM GOING TO WIN THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL! GIVE IT UP FOR MY NEW AND IMPROVED TEAM!" He yelled as suddenly, robots slammed into the ground.
In the bleachers, Chiaki let out a gasp. "The Super Team?!"
"BEHOLD! THE SUPER TEAM WHO WILL WIN THE GOLD!" He boasted. "AND I HAVE TO THANK MY MINION FOR MAKING THEM NEW AND IMPROVED!"
"HUH?!" Marnie yelled in surprise. "You mean to tell me…?! I just assumed you wanted to up your defense for your castle!"
Umber burst out laughing. "OH! That is good! That is so good." He laughed.
Gloria snickered. "Well, that's what ye get for assumin'."
"Not helping, Gloria!"
The Super Team all readied themselves to fight as Anthony and Nyx looked at each other. "Team up?"
"I was thinking the same thing." Nyx nodded as Jade smirked.
"Welp, time to bust some bots." Jade said.
"I'm feeling a bit exhausted after today. Yagami, take over for me."
"OH HELL YEAH!" Yagami said as she took over. "Let's rock!"
"Super Team… GO FOR THE GOLD!" Bowser roared. "KNOCK THEM DOWN IF YOU HAVE TO!"

The Robotic Nightmares - Super Team
One of the robots took the soccer ball as they would shoot at the goal, but Jen would shoot the ball and then Yoshi would kick it back as Zoey would take it, quickly dodging a tackle from one of the robots. However, one robot would sneak up behind her and would start to shoot her with fireballs, but Yagami teleported over and pushed him away, delivering strong telekinetic lightning bolts at him.
One Super Robot turned to Jade and fired a laser, only for it to phaze through the huntress as Mona came in and punched the robot, then Jade would freeze it up with the Ice Element. It would get back up, only to get kicked in the head by the soccer ball from Camrin as it would bounce back to him as he would head for the goal as one robot would get in his way. Camrin smirked as he jumped up in the air, holding the ball between his legs and kicked it toward the goal while Nyx would shoot a shock arrow at the robot to paralyze it as the ball went in.
One robot aimed and fired Bullet Bills at the group as they would dodge, but Mona would grab a hold of a Bullet Bill's arm and threw it back. The robot would dodge the counter attack, but Yagami telekinetically brought it back and smacked it in the back as it exploded, then she kicked the ball as it bounced off the robot's heads telekinetically. The goalie grabbed a hold of it shortly after.
"Big mistake~" Yagami smirked, lifting it up and taking the robot with it as she flipped it around and threw the robot into the ground and then had the ball slam into its robotic crotch for good measure before she pushed it in the goal.
"Ooooh! Guess he won't be having any robot kids after that!" Pauline said.
A few robots would team up and kicked the ball to dribble and pass back and forth. Jen would let out a smirk as magic coursed through as she would cause a blizzard through some bullets, striking them and freezing them in place. "Can't mess with the gun maiden, bitch!" Jen said as Yoshi gobbled up a ball, converted it to an egg and threw it at the robots to knock them down as it bounced up into the air as Iris gave Anthony a boost and sent him up in the air as he flip kicked the egg and sent it flying, where it would explode on the goalie's face, knocking it on the back and then Zoey came in and kicked the ball into the goal.
A robot would let out a robotic growl and would start to gain speed, quickly trying to tackle Nyx for setting up a trap but Anthony came in and blasted it away with some fire dust as Nyx would fire some ice arrows shortly after, then Camrin kicked the ball over to Iris as she delivered a strong kick as Zoey would paralyze the robot goalie with her feather duster, earning themselves another point.
One robot had an idea and pulled out a Spiny Blue Shell. Yagami would immediately spot this and smirked, quickly teleporting to the scoreboard. The Score was 10-0, but with an electrical shock, it changed to 0-10 right as the blue shell was launched. Yagami teleported back and telekinetically caught the shell. "Hey bud, look at the score." She said, forcing it to turn around.
Metal Gear "!" Sound
The Blue shell quickly flew off and then would proceed to chase after the Super Team and exploded on top of them as Yagami went back to reset it to normal while a few goals were made by the JINXY/MAJC team up.
Once the robots were back in order, they would attempt to score a goal but would get caught in net traps as Nyx would also lay down turrets as they opened fire at them while Mona would grapple the goalie and German Suplexed it while Jade scored a goal.
"Let's finish this!" Mona said as she kicked the ball high into the air and then together with Yagami, they would levitate up as the two of them would kick/punch it down and splitting it into fifteen balls, then Yagami teleported down and telekinetically brought the Super Team together as they would smack down on the robots with explosions.
"Alright, it's all ready to go!" Nyx said, pressing a button as a catapult rose out of the ground as the Super Team were caught in the catapult and were thrown out… and right into Bowser who was watching this from the top of the stadium.
"Wait! WAIT WAIT WAIT-"
POW!
"BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Bowser roared as he and the Super Team flew high into the sky, followed by a star shining brightly in the sky.
One Super Robot, who happened to be the goalie, looked at the team as they all smirked at it. It would raise its hands up in surrender.

"I think we have a winner folks!" Port exclaimed.
MAJC/JINXY - 25

"And this is where the finals would resume, but uh… the field got torn up rather well." Oobleck said as they would see giant craters in the field with several patches of grass missing.
Anthony grabbed a microphone. "We could just have a runback with the two of us at a late point!" He said.
"You know what, that's fair." Port said as Oobleck nodded.
"Agreed. We will postpone the finals match until both teams are ready for a return!" Oobleck said.
"With that said, I'm Professor Port!"
"I'm Doctor Oobleck!"
"And I'm Mayor Pauline~!"
"And we'll see you all in the next Strikers Tournament!" Port said.
Out on the field, the audience would disperse. "So, a runback between us? I'll take it." Nyx said.
"Indeed. I look forward to that date." Anthony said.
"Come along, shiny robot~!" Mona said, dragging the goalie away. "You're gonna be the guardian of my treasure vault!" She said as both teams would laugh at this.
They would hear a growl shortly after as they would turn to Petey… and he pulled out a limbo bar with a grin on his face. The two of them would look at each other and shrugged as they would all start to limbo with all the other teams joining in.
Meanwhile…
"BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Bowser roared as he fell into a deep dark forest with the Super Team, all of them crashing into the ground. "Aaargh… so much for that scheme." He mumbled as he looked around while the Super Team were struggling to get up. "Where the devil am I…"
He felt footsteps behind him as he turned his head… to see a massive T-Rex standing behind him as it let out a massive roar.
It turns out, he crash landed in the deeper part of the Wooded Kingdom.
"…Aaaah crud."
Meanwhile, someplace else…
"Wait wait wait wait, hold up. Slow down!" Mustang said as he was on the phone. "What the hell are you suggesting?"
"It's exactly as I described it. They thought they destroyed them all at the BSL Station but apparently-"
"You're joking. There's no way they can be alive. They all crash landed on SR-388. Nothing's left! Hell, Samus had set up a Metroid sanctuary in the Smash Mansion. There's no possible way that those things are still alive."
"Would you like me to come visit and show you? We have it on video."
"Of course. I need to see it to believe it." Mustang said.
"I'll be on my way shortly."
"Right… well, see you when you get here." Mustang mumbled as he hung up. He put his elbows on his desk, a disturbed look was seen on his face.
"What was all that?" Riza asked.
"Apparently, the Galactic Federation received some disturbing news."
"And what's that?"
"The X-Parasite that we all thought was destroyed? Apparently, they made a return."

"Ah! I know just the thing~!" Mikan smiled as she pulled out a crowbar. "This'll do it~!"

Mikan climbed on the trampoline and did a few jumps before front flipping and forcefully landed on the crowbar.

"Whoa whoa whoooooooa!" Mikan fell, landing right on top of Grif's crotch, her elbow meeting it first.
"OOOOOOOOOOW! Please please PLEASE… just kill me!" Grif cried as Mikan got back up.
"Almost done~!" Mikan said as she gave one last push and fully unraveled Grif. "There we go!"
"Oooooh… all of my bones are broken…" He groaned.
"At least you're prepped for surgery now!" Mikan said as she pushed him into the OR with Grif crying out in pain.

"I've… never heard of Street Fighter IV." Yang's voice echoed in her head.
"Well, that's probably because Capcom didn't milk it as much as Street Fighter II."
Chiaki sweatdropped. "Capcom, I didn't mean to give you the green light!" She said before laughing. "Oh, that's hilarious." She giggled. "Alright, any other announcements for Capcom?"

Meanwhile, with Ryu and Ken…
The two would proceed to punch and kick each other in a sparring session, delivering clean hits as they would take a step back.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!"
The two stopped what they were doing. "Chiaki?" Ken asked.
"Probably fangirling over something again."
"You're probably right." Ken agreed as the two would proceed to go at it again, unaware of what Chiaki was fangirling about.
So that's what... eleven for eleven now?
Ibuki: *laughs* Apparently!
Anyway, the funny thing is... I wasn't really planning on doing a boss battle for this one shot, but then this happened.
Me: "I'm not doing a boss battle in this one shot."
*later*
Cody: "Why don't we spice things up a bit? The Super Team from the original Strikers game shows up because Bowser is a sore loser."
Flash: "Brilliant!"
Me: "...I am now doing a boss battle for this one shot."
