Chapter 6
"Charlie. Charlie. Fancy seeing you here." Georgie shouted across the car park running into give Charles a big hug. "Take it you're here to meet Molly?"
"Yeah that's right. I take it then you're here to meet Elvis." Georgie smiled back her confirmation. She had a beautiful smile Charles thought, and obviously had gone to a lot of effort to meet Elvis. She had gained numerous admiring glances as she had crossed the car park. Just exactly what she had wanted and totally expected. Make up was applied with total precision and hair was coiffured within an inch of its life. Her perfect body and legs were shown off beautifully in her outfit. Charles knew that this type of Barbie doll configuration was just what Elvis liked. Charles however, only had thoughts for his Molly and how he had missed her.
Since that lovely day kayaking and getting to know one another an awful lot better Charles and Molly had hardly seen each other, just one way too brief half an hour in a coffee shop on camp. Molly was a busy lady, she kept pointing out that she didn't have 9 weeks summer holiday every year to laze about with. First there was her guard duty, then P.T exercises and testing, and finally for the past week she'd been out living in some wilderness on a training exercise with the SF guys. Living off her wits and being pushed to be the best.
He was really excited to see her. He had missed her so much. There hadn't even been any telephone communication for the past 10 days. Which was just as well thought Charles, as each day went by he'd missed her more and was worried he'd come across a bit too desperate. He reassured himself, it was because he obviously had too much time on his hands. That is why he was feeling this way. They had therefore agreed before she went on the exercise that he would pick her up from the barracks car park on her arrival, ready with her pre packed hold all, to have a little holiday with one another. Spend lots of time together, make up for the missing weeks of enforce separation.
"It's funny isn't it them being away. Together" Said Georgie, slyly looking at Charles, wondering if he'd picked up on her comments. When she got no reaction she continued. "Of course I've been able to have the odd calls every now and again from Elvis. You know he is the boss so he's allowed to do that." She giggled. Charles had a suspicion that she'd have known full well that Molly wouldn't have been able to do that for him.
"Yeah… it's been hard….. first time I really experienced it."
"Oh not for me. I've had great fun. Not going to pine away. You shouldn't either Charlie. Next time we should meet up and do something. Show them what they're missing." Georgie giggled
Charles wasn't paying her much attention. He could see the minibus pulling into the car park, desperately looking to see if he could spot Molly. He watched Georgie rearrange her hair for the thousands time and reapply her lips gloss, all the while trying to calm himself down. The excitement at seeing her again curiously building inside of him like he'd never experienced before.
"Looks like they're here." Was all he could say, to no one in particular.
As the team started to come off the bus Georgie and Charles moved closer. Elvis came off first and Georgie ran screaming over to him, jumped into his arms as she threw herself around him, both kissing each other frantically as though they hadn't seen each other for years. Elvis caught sight of Charles over his shoulder and give a half smile, and a rolled eyes greeting to his friend. He knew Elvis and knew he would love the attention from the beautiful woman who'd just made such a public display of her emotions at seeing him. He chuckled under his breath sharing a knowing smile with his mate
Georgie and Elvis' welcome home was so very different to the one Charles give Molly. As soon as he saw her step off the coach he was struck by how exhausted she looked. Her steps were slow and laboured, carrying her heavy Bergen. There were big black rings under her eyes highlighting how physically drained she was. She was crumpled, and grimy, coming to a stop in front of him;
"Hi." Was all she said with a weak smile.
"Hi you." Said Charles bending down to give her a chase kiss on the cheek. Mindful of where they were. "Guess it's been a hard week, you look bloody knackered."
"Too right." She snorted, happy to see him though despite her fatigue. "Your friends a good boss, but he's a bastard on manoeuvres. Get me to some decent food and clean clothes…oh and chocolate."
"Come on…. your carriage awaits." Turning and leading her to his car, half turning to say goodbye to Elvis and Georgie who were still in the throes of passion. They didn't notice them leave.
Charles helped Molly into the car with her Bergen, and instantly presented her with a can of coke and a Dairy Milk.
She smiled lovingly at him. "Top marks on being the best. Thank you this is sweet." Way too tired to be concerned about first impressions, she stared to stuff the chocolate in to her mouth.
"Hey?" he teased. "Don't I get any."
"No way. "She mumbled. "But you can have a kiss!"
"I'll take that, better than bloody chocolate anyway." And he kissed her tenderly across her eyes, then her nose, and eventually her mouth.
"Think I might make you right there." She sighed. " Now let's get going. You do know the first thing I'll have to do when I get in is have bath and sort my kit out for washing."
"No worries Molly. Kind of thought that would be the order of things. Cottage has a machine…and…purely coincidently a huge bath." He wiggled his eyebrows seductively. " Fancy that!"
"How did I get to be so lucky to have a boyfriend like you?"
"Boyfriend? That's the first time you've called me that. I like it." He grinned.
"Yeah? Well so do I. Besides I have to get you on my good side. I've lots of stinking kit to wash."
The journey to the cottage by the sea was slow, and frustrating. Molly slept for most of it, and Charles just wanted to talk to her. She woke just before they arrived, and instantly apologised, promising to make it up to him. With such promises as that Charles instantly forgave her.
The cottage was perfect. A small two bedroomed property with amazing views of the sea. The promised washing machine was there as was the most amazing two person's bath. When they saw this they both smiled coyly at one another, knowing each other's thoughts. Their blushes and imaginations only increased however when they went to the main bedroom, to see a glorious king-sized bed, that took over the majority of the opulent room. A room Molly felt was a room for lovers, and that's very much what she intended her and Charles to be this week.
Charles insisted after a few kisses that Molly have a bath. She smelt of woods, and mud, and of Molly. It wasn't an unpleasant combination. He just wanted Molly to be relaxed, have some luxury after her hard week, and their time together would begin after her bath. As she filled it full of bubbles, she suggested half-jokingly through the bathroom door that Charles joined her. Once she was in he popped his head around the door giving her a glass of wine and telling her he'd started to sort her kit and was building a fire in the front room. Molly sighed, she knew this is what perfect bliss felt like.
Understandably she fell asleep in the bath. Charles came up to tell her he'd made some supper and it would be ready in five. She reluctantly dragged herself out of the bath and briefly lay down on the bed before getting dried. That is where Charles found her twenty minutes later. Fast asleep, obviously exhausted. He knew she was gone for the night so he gently wrapped her up in the duvet. As he was doing this he caught sight of the bruising and cuts she had on her arms and legs. Saddened that her job caused her to give so much of herself. He kissed her lovingly on the forehead and turned off the light.
Charles spent the rest of the night eating a solitary supper, reading, and eventually settling himself down on the settee to sleep the night. He didn't think it was right to sleep in the same bed with Molly. No permission had been given and he respected her too much to presume. Beside he was unsure if his emotions would be controllable lying next to her naked body.
He was woken the next morning by a gentle kiss on his forehead. The sun was just starting to break out. Molly crouched down next to him, still in a semi sleep fuddled state herself.
"Morning." She said apologetically. "I'm so sorry. How pissed off are you with me?"
"No it's okay you were tired….. you needed your sleep. Sleep well? Feel any better?"
God. I've had nearly 15 hours sleep. I really needed it. Yeah feel great…. I've got loads of energy for today."
Molly knelt hesitatingly in front of him. "I thought that have could some breakfast soon." She hoped, feeling awkward and slightly under dressed.
"Yeah I'll be with you in a minute." Charles said.
"What's up?" She was really concerned he was upset with her.
"No nothing…..it's just…..well you know morning time…..and you there with hardly anything on. I'll…errr…be fine."
Molly grinned and stood up feeling sorry for Charles. He'd waited a long time, had to arrange his life round her schedule, and here he was being tortured by her. It was at that moment and with those thoughts running threw her head that she made her decision. She slowly gripped the corners of the t shirt she had thrown on and raised it above her head. Here she now was naked and offering herself to Charles. Before he had time to react she scuttled over towards him and slipped her expectant body next to his.
"Molly." Was all he whispered. " This isn't helping."
"Good" Breathed Molly facing him and began to kiss him deeply and passionately.
Charles always felt that he was a gentleman but facing the delightful situation, he lost all his reserve and ability to behave. Passion coursed through their veins. Their bodies drawn inexplicitly to one another. The temptation no longer able to resist, nor needed to be. He pressed himself up against her hard and both bodies hummed in sheer delight as she ground herself closer and closer.
The game of discovery was beginning with neither of them wanting it to stop. They had waited too long, and had both felt powerless to stop even if they had wanted to do so. Feeling themselves, compelled almost, and moving in time to an invisible tune that played out between their young bodies. The dance began slowly, anticipating, exploring, tasting and discovering more of each other than ever before. Charles took the lead, but soon Molly became an equal partner in the movement, parity in their offerings to one another. These two lovers shared a togetherness rarely seen. Moving with each step in perfect sync and direction. No words needed to be spoken, their passion and desire played out their words.
Both worshiped the treats each other had to offer. Both tantalising then delivering what had been up until now been forbidden fruit. Their first joining was delicate, measured, each ensuring the other got the enjoyment they deserved. It was how the first time should be. There was no awkwardness, no clumsiness or hesitation. It was just desire, which was raw, and all consuming. Molly unsure where her body stopped and the where Charles' began during their togetherness, cherished the feeling of his body inside of her own. No touch was too much, no kiss was too long or misplaced, no expectation undelivered.
It was the act of making love, purely and simply. All barriers had been removed and what was left was honesty in their first act of love making. The coming together of two souls who had discovered a perfect mate in their quest for love, so that when they both exploded together, their souls, though neither of them knew it at the time, became permanently joined. It was a reaction of the passion that just had brought about their shuddering climaxes that laid their hearts bare and open, offering to each other to claim.
Satisfied, and spent, they lay entwined in one another, their breaths coming fast and quick. Their feeling of euphoria, mirrored in each other's eye. For Charles it had never been like this before with anyone. The act itself had always been almost mechanical, a performance to be measured by. With Molly it had been the way she had always dreamed it should be, everything, every judgement opinion, expectation disappeared. It was just Charles and Molly
"Wow." Was all he could say. For a man who taught words for a living, his verbal skills failed him. He stroked her hair from her face as they lay side by side. Careful to measure his words before he spoke. There were words rising up from his heart that he wanted to say to Molly. He pushed them down, it was too soon, surely he thought. A mere post coital reaction. Knowing that when he did say those words, and he knew he would, he wanted to make it feel as special as the woman in his arms.
Molly saved him, giggling, realising they were still on the couch. The feeling of pleasure still coursing through her body, delighting her. Charles had been an attentive lover, surprisingly the one in charge, ensuring she was shown his love and returned it in equal measures. It was however the sheer magnitude of their closeness through it all which delighted her. Her feeling of acceptance, no regret or worries about afterwards. Something she had never achieved before. Her world and everything in it was right. She slightly broke apart from him.
"God I thought my days of making out on the couch were over at when I left home." She looked up to see a horrified look on Charles' face. " Relax….I'm teasing. The house was always too full too busy."
Charles pulled back and looked at her.
"So how many boyfriends were there then before me Miss Dawes?" He asked.
"Not many. Only one or two since I left school. Nothing serious…nothing like this." she added holding onto his face and kissing him.
Now wasn't the time for exploring this conversation any further. He ended it before it really began. "Are you ok?" he asked.
"Yes." Was all Molly was able to hum into his chest, desire once again unsurprisingly starting to build between their bodies.
"Well…. we certainly seem to have got our money's worth out of the couch!" Then as an afterthought he said. " Sorry, not the most romantic place for our first time was it?"
"It was perfect." She, ran her hand across his lower back, an area she notice, when she touched it gave him pleasure. "Though next time, maybe we could try to make it at least to the bedroom?".
"Next time Molly. My you're a bit previous aren't you?" Sniggering as he said it.
"No it's chemistry." Molly joked back.
"Yes it certainly is." He admitted as he lowered himself back over Molly and started kissing her, knowing that the chances of getting to the bedroom for at least round two were looking very slim.
