After securing his section of the prison Riley made his way indoors. Seeing a large metal door obstruct his path he tried to push it open. The door not giving way under his normal strength he stepped back a bit.
Riley made an aura staff and spiked it in the edge of the door. Winching it open with brute force the door blew its hinges allowing him to step through. He was now in a large hallway with cell doors opened but nobody around. Still keeping a hold of his staff in case he'd get ambushed he walked through the long hallway. Step by step the feeling of unease grew. It was too quiet for his liking. No prisoners or guards here started to make him think he and his companions already took down every escapee apart from the ones who got out which Ash is chasing now.
He heard a loud noise coming from the right of him. Seeing the cell door shake it suddenly flew off its hinges and slammed into his body. Having put his guard up it softened the blow but he still felt his back hit hard on the opposite steel door getting flattened between the doors.
From high above a silver and metallic figure looked down on him. Hovering in the air with his arms put wide and hands in front of him he was genuinely surprised. Large red eyes looked down as he saw the result of his work.
"That was almost too easy."
Having killed one of his targets so easily he flew down a bit lower. Heading to the doors he slammed together from a distance crunched, the one he used to squash the wolf look alike smashed off into a wall. Smirking underneath his helmet he was ready now to take on the strange creature in front of him. It didn't match the description someone gave him but the wolf surviving the flattening he was almost certain the man who hired him was talking about him.
"Are you responsible for the break out!?" The wolf a bit hurt but still full of fighting spirit locked eyes with the man in the air. Cracking his knuckles Riley knew it had to happen eventually. Now facing his first major challenge alone like Ash with Bisharp and May with the deconstruction machine this would be his baptism by fire if things played put the way it all did recently.
The man flying in the air pointed outwards. Flexing his fingers back and forth the doors around Riley all opened and closed rapidly. The aura guardian seeing this display of power had his answer.
"Are you psychic!?" Seeing control over object from a distance Riley guessed against what he was up against. The silver man said nothing staring down on the wolf. The metallic man up high would not give away the category his powers classified under officially which is magnetism.
"Magnezone. The last thing you'll hear before I crush you."
"Why did you do it?! What is there to gain from you releasing them?" Riley demanding he spoke up. With his aura staff still in his hands he took a fighting stance letting the staff rest against his body.
"A display of power to make my name known in this city. Nothing more."
The figure pulled his arms together and this time more doors shot to the aura guardian. Riley seeing it jumped up high avoiding it as the metal slammed into each other. The metallic figure raised his hands and the doors flew up trying to smash Riley against the ceiling.
The guardian used his staff slap away the doors letting them fall to the ground. Moving his body in midair he spiked the aura weapon in a door and then swung around so it flew to the figure with telekinesis. His enemy raised a hand and the sheet of metal stopped dead in its tracks. Riley landed on the ground on the stack of doors he hit before. Quickly jumping off them the figure rose his hands up high.
Riley turned his staff into an aura sphere and threw it at his enemy. The hovering using the door he caught earlier as a shield the blue orb smashed into the metal. The orb vanished into midair leaving nothing more but a large dent where the impact is.
"These things can pierce and bend metal with their bare hands." Giving his enemy an evaluation of his abilities he'd been scanning what the wolf can do so far. It had shown remarkable awareness and strength thus far. It wasn't to aggressive in trying to take him immediately so it was cautious perhaps trying to end it in one hit.
"I'll give it something it won't be able to shape without my permission."
Riley saw the metal in front of him starting to take a new shape. The crunching sound nearly deafening the guardian he didn't block his ears. The metal started to shift into a giant cube filling the hallway. The cube hovered a tiny bit of the ground.
"I got to get rid of that metal." From what he's seen from his opponent so far he preferred to keep distance between them. He was not in a hurry to get close to engage in a physical fight.
"I got to close the distance first."
Riley clasped his hands together and threw another aura sphere. This time the orb changed direction at the last second projecting it upwards to the ceiling. A part of the ceiling broke off to the explosion as the hovering man got pelted by concrete. Discomforted he raised a door which he used as an umbrella to stop the rain.
Riley meanwhile took a running start and jumped off the walls to get closer to his opponent. Managed to grab him while still moving upwards the two flew out of the hole the aura guardian created outside. Riley and the man were fighting in midair exchanging blows with the aura guardians superior hand to hand prowess shining through. Riley managed to get a few rough shots in on his opponents helmet cracking it while the other punched even softer than a regular mugger by comparison.
"At least we're outside now." It would the give the aura guardian a bit more room to maneuver compared to the tight hallway. Also the only pieces of metal around were the intake of the buildings ventilation system. On the downside he gave his opponent more space to hover in and to escape.
Riley managed to twist his body in such a way he landed on top of his opponent. Clenching his fist he was ready to end this fight. He threw a punch but his hand stopped just in front of his opponents face. Riley struggled to as if some invisible force was pushing against him. He heard his opponent snigger underneath him. Riley's other hand now lifted up against his will. He flew off his opponent now while hanging in the air helplessly. Still able to use his legs they hung in the air with no foothold to stand on.
"I could kill you right now by letting that spike on your chest pierce you." He got up slowly and edged to the wolf dangling in the air.
"What are you supposed to be mutt?" The form and creature created a small memory that he might seen a thing like this before.
"A guardian who keeps the peace and judges the guilty. Lucario." Riley answered calm not showing fear.
"Never heard of it. At least you'll die braver than most." Magnezone pointed outwards intending to drive the spike in Lucario's chest. He felt the spike work against his hold and applied more pressure. The spike did not budge even though he continued to exert more and more power to try and pierce his opponent.
"How!?"
Riley slammed the staff in Magnezone's head as he then knocked him out. The enemy unconscious he thought about how he did it.
"Good thing I used my aura to create a protective barrier. I guess I can say my spirit is tougher than steel."
Still he had to ask Dawn to ask the stylist who made his outfit for some different material. He heard a hard sound behind him as he immediately turned round. Seeing one of his partners Glaceon had followed the wreckage and the loud noises that were coming from the other side and rushed to it. Looking over the prone body of the guy on the ground Riley May had some questions.
"Seems I missed all the fun. Who's he?"
"He could control metal so I tossed him out here away from the cells."
"Nice job." May gave him a thumbs up.
"How did things go on your end?"
"I sealed off every exit this place has. Nobody is getting in or out without breaking the ice first and the prison guards should have contained every escapee here by now."
With most of the prisoners out and accounted for they hoped it was enough to calm the riot.
"Hope Ash has better luck than us."
Ash was racing down the path next to the only road that entered and left the prison. Running at top speed he tried to overtake the bus that got out carrying some escapees. From the distance he saw a similar bus that the ones in prison being diagonal on the road. He was watching and as he got closer he saw something strange.
A green figure slammed down on top of one. It then began to move with a rapid pace punching, kicking, throwing escapees all over. Ash saw it took a hold of one criminal and threw him into the side or the prison bus. At the display of power and ease some criminals jumped over the ailing of the highway and tried to steal a car in the other lane just to get away. The frog leaped as well and before the criminal could drive away, the rose fighter had pulled him out through the window, smashed him on the ground and knocked him out.
"Is that the rose fighter May and Glaceon talked about?"
The red and blue on both hands matched May's explanation. Ash watched over in a hiding place, done with his job the rose fighter looked over his downed enemies. From the red rose on the right a stem extended from it. The red rose seemingly detached from his hand as he then grabbed hold of it.
"Is that a saber?" Ash's weapon experience he saw the type of weapon he pulled out. He raised it over a criminal he knocked out earlier and Ash realizing what he was going to do quickly formed two aura shuriken and threw them at the saber wielder.
From the corner of his eye the rose fighter saw two blue objects heading his way. Positioning his saber he blocked both objects as they fell to the ground.
"Stars?" The blue stars disappeared into nothing.
People stopped and got out of their cars to watch the display. Ash wanted to leave having taken care off the escapees so they'll be an easy pick up for police but he couldn't just let this guy go any further with his beatings. People were taking pictures and as much as he wanted to destroy the camera's Glaceon and Umbreon's effort would be brought to naught if he used the Greninja identity and attack civilians.
"No killing!" A blue frog like character jumped from the side of the road on top of a car. The rose fighter looked up to him. Not knowing who this new creature himself is he pointed his sword over to it.
"Are you with them? Is that why you saved him?" The rose fighter asked the frog. There was no good reason to save a criminal unless he was the one responsible for letting them escape unless he needed them for something.
"I'm not with them."
"Then let me be." He turned back around and was raising his blade to pierce the downed criminal again. Ready to swing down he felt something grab him from behind. He turned round and saw the frog up close now.
"I said no killing!" Ash the rose fighters right wrist preventing the spike. The rose fighter feeling it tossed the frog over his shoulder. Ash flew off his feet and twirled his body in the air landing on his feet again.
"I'll deal with you next! Prepare yourself!" The rose fighter pointed his saber to the frog. Ash realizing there was no reasoning with him formed two aura kunai in his hands and clasped them tightly. Seeing a bit of irony in the situation which he was send here for actually by Riley things really did not turn out the way he expects and tends to be recently.
"Never thought I'd be protecting a jail breaker."
The two rushed towards the other. Ash blocked the piercing saber strike with his left blade. Lashing out with his right blade to hit his opponents left wrist a second saber with a blue hilt shot out of his hands. Ash tried to close in for a quick swipe but with the long weapons he was up against was more on the back foot.
The rose fighter slashed just barely missing the fog's chest. Greninja jumped backwards on top of a car and he looked around quickly. The stopped cars on the other side of the road still had their passengers out looking on his fight Of course so he couldn't fight at full force even if he wanted too.
"WHO'S THAT!?" The two warriors heard someone yell.
"COCJA!" On top of the prison bus stood a man dressed in white shaolin garbs. The belt around his waist was purple and his sleeves were longer than practical. A white mustache extended even below his chin and he stared with full focus at the frog.
"Is he the one who took over the school?" There was talk about a shaolin called Mienshao. Ash wondered if this was the same guy who's after a thing called the glow.
"ASHINEH!" He jumped off the bus and performed a flying kick to the frog. Ash jumped out of the way backwards onto a car and stood on it with everyone's eyes on him. The shaolin who attacked him leapt up on top the same car Ash landed on and punched Ash. The aura guardian blocked it he went for a kick to the shaolin legs. With ease the shaolin blocked it with his knee before striking the frog with a palm strike to try and send him flying. Ash jumped and rolled over kicking him hard in the back sending his opponent flying who agilely landed on a car.
"Like I need this!" Ash cursing his luck even more. The rose fighter saw it happen.
"I don't want any part of this. Prove you're not who you say you are."
"Wait!" Ash saw a storm of petals erupt around his earlier opponent. When the flowers dropped he was gone leaving him now alone with the shaolin. Ash now focused fully on the man in white. With the foreign language he spoke there was arguably no reasoning with him. Ash did not want to tempt faith but his day arguably can't get any worse from here on out.
See you around.
