The traffic stuck around to see the frog and shaolin fight. As if they entered a movie scene event after event happened and the appearance of the shaolin was yet another turn of the page in this special night. Ash looked around him and cursed his luck again. He rather do this without any onlookers but he figured it was just human nature that worked against him as with his frog costume might think he's some sort of swamp creature.

"I guess you don't speak English?" Greninja said hoping to bargain with the shaolin as he stood on one leg with his arms curved up. Greninja figured it was a fighting stance he took on and the tone in his voice betrayed his intention.

"TATSINEH!" He leaped towards the frog with a flying kick.

"Of course not." Ash jumped away with the shaolin landing on his feet. Ash not wanting to fight him around all the civilians ran away into the direction of the city. Using his speed to leap over the cars he ran away from his opponent.

"Not going to fight him here as it will only cause more trouble."

The two governments at ends bashing heads and heavy discussions in congress were formed about the invasion the shaolin and his men did of his school. They broke a treaty between nations and Ash did not want to give them any more reason to come after him and his home nation by attacking someone as apparently well respected as the shaolin.

He looked back a bit to see if he lost him but to his shock the shaolin easily followed him. His idea of escaping backfiring the man chased him down leaping with the same ease as him over the cars. He had to fight him after all since escape was no longer an option.

His new plan was to find a more secure location to fight him in alone. Jumping off the road and the cars he retreated into a forest next to it. Dashing between the trees he maybe could find a spot to hide in and evade the shaolin. Being covered by the fauna he leaped into a tree.

The shaolin losing sight of him stopped running too.

"What is it you want!?"

The shaolin started to speak but still in a foreign language Ash couldn't make sense off. The man gestured wildly as if he explained a tale while the frog just listened.

"Forget this!" Having had enough of the man chasing him he lunged forward.

Ash threw a right punch which was deflected by the shaolin. Crossing his left he used it as a distraction to raise his left knee to hit his opponent on the chin. Using a soccer ball kick with his right leg he forced his opponent back. Getting close again Ash did a low sweep with his leg which the shaolin jumped over. The shaolin did an exe kick downwards which Ash blocked with both arms as he then pushed the shaolin off him.

The man flew up and did another axe kick with Ash rolling out of the way. Trying to grab the shaolin's legs to throw him the man quickly raised his feet and began kicking at the laying frog. Ash twisted his body so his feet came into contact with his opponents releasing a flurry of kicks. Ash then rolled out of the kicks backwards and stood on his feet as the shaolin came to him this time.

The shaolin threw a left jab which Ash dodged before throwing his own right hand to the shaolin's ribs to get a boxers blow in. The shaolin used his left leg to kick up the incoming jab to the ribs as he also extended his right palm.

Ash felt the force of the shaolin's palm hit his chest. He felt a surge of aura against his will building up inside him. Trying to control it himself losing control. A blue burst exploded from his chest as he got launched across the ground and landed against the side of a tree. Feeling the pain in chest and back he couldn't believe it.

"He hits harder than Riley!"

Comparing to his teacher and his so called graduation fight he rolled off the tree feeling his chest as if something was off. He had been hurt before but never like this. His heart was burning and he felt his arms shake as if he was getting electrocuted.

"What is this?"

The shaolin leapt from towards his target. Ash seeing him approach lay in wait. The shaolin jumped down towards him as Ash threw a shuriken to the man. Startled he dodged, the man lost his form in the air, Ash caught his knee with his foot and elbowed the shaolin square in the face.

The man got off him and grabbed his head. Wiping away the blood on his white sleeve his expression changed again. He came running as Ash was going to form an aura kunai in his left to scare him off. Raising his left he focused it as usual but it formed way slower than he usually did.

He felt the ground stir underneath him and his legs slammed together.

"WHAT THE!?"

As he looked down he saw vines from the ground wrap themselves around his legs. Reaching down with his kunai he slashed through the plant cutting it in half. He suddenly felt his left wrist getting grabbed moving it away from his body high up as the rest of his body got wrapped up from he legs up.

He struggled but the vines were surprisingly tough. Needing more aura he was about to focus a lot more in his body to increase his strength to rip the vines he heard screaming from against him.

"GUIK HOH! GUIK HOH!" Ash saw the shaolin tied up the same way being cased in vines. His body wrapped together unlike his arms held high above him preventing any slashing with his weapons.

A new figure emerged down from the trees.

Her bodysuit is a tan with dark brown gloves and boots. She had a multitude of small green sprouts growing all over her legs, chest and back, with the hair on her head green too, in front of four tan tufts of fur. She has brown eyes that now stared at him full of aggression.

"Who are you?" The green dressed figure asked him not knowing if he's friend or foe.

"I can ask you the same."

"You first." The one in green insisted.

"Greninja." Saying his cover name the new character didn't know what to make of it.

"Ask him where he got that name." Ash heard a voice unlike the earlier one and before the green figure could ask he answered.

"That's none of your business." He responded back. The green character confused at his words looked with a sideways glance.

"You heard her?" The one dressed in green amazed he did. She thought only she and others like her were able to her the spirit that grants her power. The second voice spoke again to make sure it wasn't a coincidence.

"If you can hear me repeat my name. Leafeon."

"Leafeon?" The frog repeated. The name resembled two others he knows with the eon at the end.

"How can you hear her?" The one in green increased the tension in the vines just a little but not enough to hurt him.

"I'm an aura guardian. I know Umbreon and Glaceon. They are the ones that gave me that name and what I'm wearing right now." His origin explained the green figure did not know what to make of it.

"Let him go. You can trust him." The spirit instructed her host.

"You sure?"

"I said let him go." The vine round him loosened up and she put him back gently to the ground.

"Thanks Leafeon."

"Don't mention it aura guardian."

"You're in the clear." The new Leafeon said to him as her spirit vouched for her.

"So who is he?" That left only the man in white still shouting things she can't understand.

"I think he's after my aura." Greninja said. He still felt his arms shake which the spirit picked up on. The symptoms he was displaying for an aura guardian wasn't the first time she's seen them.

"He is. You would not have been able to beat him." The spirit told the frog.

"Huh?"

"I saw him hit you across the forest. Some fighting styles are designed to use your own energy against you. It is a nightmare for aura guardians as you keep exerting more and more power the longer a fight lasts, so eventually your own aura will be turned against you. He is the worst type of opponent for you and you're lucky you're still alive."

"Won't he be able to break those vines?" Greninja said. They didn't look all to solid to him comparing it to Glaceon's ice constructs. With the strength used against him the man still moved to no avail.

"Like I said he seeps off your aura. Without you exerting any against him he's powerless." Leafeon comforting him that as long as the vines stay up he was stuck.

"Will this feeling go away soon?" Ash still feel his body hurt and his arms about to go numb.

"A few hours just as long you don't exert too much." The spirit said he should make a full recovery soon. Since her partner trusted the frog a lot maybe she can get something out of him for saving his hide. She turned as she heard the trapped shaolin still screaming at the pair.

"What are you going to do with him?" Ash wondered what Leafeon had in store. If she shared the nature motive like the rose fighter earlier he did not want to fight her but had to if she was planning on killing him.

"He won't get out till someone gets him out of there. Plus with witnesses seeing him attack you and risk other peoples safety their government has a lot to explain to the world tribunal."

To Ash's relief the spirit Leafeon had the same attitude towards taking a life that Glaceon and Umbreon planted in their hosts. Unless absolutely necessary try and take in the crooks alive because a justice and trial system exists for it.

"Let's speak some place else. Perhaps you can help me with something that's been bothering me. I'm new here in Veilstone City and can use a guide to chase someone down." A new arrival in town Leafeon can use the frog to show her around. If they found a more quiet spot away from the vined shaolin that is still yelling.

"Can we do this later? There's a prison break and my friends are there right now." Not knowing the situation he had to get back. The new Leafeon understood the current affair came first as her matters can wait.

"Lead the way."

The two leaped up into the trees heading towards the prison. The discovery of Dawn and May's other sister while exciting also worried Ash just a little. Telling him she's not from around here he had a hunch there were going to be even more fights heading his way as if he and his companion didn't have enough to worry about yet.

Lucario and Glaceon were heading to the direction Greninja had gone too. Having settled the prison break down and the guards fully in control once more with additional support from the police they were going to look for Ash. It took too long for him to get back to their liking and they started to search for their partner getting worried for him.

"Guys!" The frog saw his partners heading towards him and yelled. May's spirit companion couldn't believe her imaginary eyes as he brought along an old friend.

"No way! Is that you leaf!?" Glaceon warmed up seeing her sis recognizing the uniform that only belonged to the wearer of her jewel.

"The one and only icy!" Leafeon's host not used to her being so vocal. Sure she knew the story between her 'sisters' and her but seeing one in person was something else. The ice and grass heroine stood against each other studying their look.

"I'm guessing your Glaceon correct?" The ice motive and hair matched perfectly with the name.

"You knew my name already?" May surprised she did.

"The frog spoiled it."

"Care to introduce us Greninja?" Lucario maintained the cover as he called out his name not trusting the green character yet.

"Lucario, Glaceon. Meet Leafeon. She helped me out when I was in a pinch." Ash telling he had it quite rough out of prison had enough to tell them.

"Really? What happened?" Lucario asked him.

"I fought that shaolin everybody is talking about. He was tough."

"I fought a man who could throw and control metal. Got almost crushed by some prison doors."

As much as they wanted to hear his excursion there is a time and place for it.

"Let's go to our hideout and talk there. And to let blacky in on our night." Glaceon did not want to leave Dawn out of it. She at least had a right to know what was going on. It's been quite an adventure for them and the search for the necromancer postponed to a later date.

"Umbreon is not with you?" The host of Leafeon asked the trio.

"You'll meet her later. She's a rookie." Glaceon telling Dawn's status and experience compared to the others the nature host understood as she went there as well.

"I get it. Again, lead the way."

Leafeon glad to have found even more allies on her hunt for a certain criminal from her hometown. She followed the three back to the main city. Having looked up to being in an unfamiliar city with new enemies she was fearing the task of doing what she came for but with her new friends and sisters aiding her in her quest this could bloom into a wonderful partnership.

May got to next to her as they travelled to the city. With time to kill she wanted to know a little more about the third she ever came across including herself being the first and her bestie Dawn the second.

"What's your real name sis?"

"Zoey. Without the powers, you can call me Zoey."

Enter Leafeon.

See you around.
